I don't think Lestat and Hannibal would get along at all. Will and Louis, on the other hand, would be fast friends.
Hannibal and Armand would enjoy each other's company, but Will and Daniel would be at each others throats in a second.
#yet another vibes based take#yes hannibal and lestat are very similar#like hannibal was clearly influenced by lestat#and amc's iwtv shouted nbc's hannibal out with the opera murder (imo)#BUT i just can't see hannibal or lestat meshing personality wise#and this is the main reason i can't enjoy any crossover fic i've found#hannibal's too controlled and lestat is too chaotic for the two of them to exist peacefully#hannibal's amused by small doses of chaos but doesn't tolerate reckless people in his life for very long#lestat is at his core a shit starter#he could and would provoke a series of (unsuccessful) murder attempts just for the fun of seeing them fail#tvc#the vampire chronicles#nbc hannibal
