This list is just for the defenders (plus Bi-Han bc he will never be a villain in my eyes) but I can make another for the antagonists and Kombat Kids if y'all want

Johnny: This man can and will outdrink god without breaking a sweat. It takes a lot to get him drunk but once you do, hoo boy does he get wild. He will flirt with anyone and anything he can and more often than not succeeds in seducing whoever he has set his sights on (he even managed to bag Fujin once)

Sonya: Knows her limits and has no desire to test them, she'll drink if the occasion calls for it, but never more than a few beers.

Jax: Like Sonya, also just doesn't drink all that much as he doesn't really get the appeal. He did once get drunk and serenade the entirety of the special forces with a full rendition of Wicked in it's entirety. Sonya got it on video and it is one of her most treasured possessions

Kung Lao: Cannot hold his liquor, talks a big game but is a massive lightweight. He's also a tactile drunk, he wants to hug and be hugged all the time. Once, he even sat on Liu Kang's lap for five hours straight. Has drunkenly made out with Johnny cage more than once.

Raiden: Cannot get drunk and refuses to try.

Liu Kang: Massive lightweight, even worse than Kung Lao. Three shots in and he's giggling on the floor. He and Kung Lao have kissed while drunk before, but it was less a drunken making out thing and more an impulsive "I want my first kiss to be with someone I trust" thing. They didn't talk about it afterwards

Kitana: Like Johnny, could outdrink anyone. In fact, the two once had a drinking competition that did not end until they were both in the hospital from alcohol poisoning. To this day they have no idea who the winner was and it is the only reason Kitana respects him

Jade: Can hold her liquor, but honestly prefers to avoid it. She likes to keep her wits about her, years of training as a bodyguard don't fade.

Kuai Liang: This man has the tolerance of a wet paper bag, and once scared the shit out of a bunch of SF recruits bc he and Johnny got drunk on base and it was the only time any of them had heard him laugh. Kuai Liang is a talkative drunk too, he will say anything and everything that pops into his head with no remorse and then forget about it the next morning. He did once make out with Johnny Cage in a closet while they were both shitfaced and another time he spent the entire night curled around Hanzo's back like a spider monkey.

Hanzo: drinks on occasion but not often so his tolerance is decent but not phenomenal. Tends to smile more when drunk and generally be more relaxed, but also rarely gets any further than tipsy. Usually, he tasks himself with keeping Kuai Liang out of trouble on the occasions they both decide to indulge, leading to him being subject to Kuai Liang's playful flirting for the whole night. Poor man is struggling to keep it together and not drag the cryomancer off to a closet of their own.

Bi-Han: used to be a total lightweight until he started drinking with Sareena and now he can down moonshine without blinking. He does tend to wax poetic about Sareena when drunk and also made out with Johnny Cage in a closet while drunk (bc honestly, who hasn't at this point?) and when he told Sareena she just nodded, downed a shot, and went to find Johnny for her turn. The three started dating not long after that

Sareena: Drinks a lot, and yet somehow her tolerance never improves, so she ends up giggling and stumbling fairly quickly. She also has a tendency to sing while drunk

Fujin: Cannot get drunk either (god thing) but he keeps trying different beverages when offered bc he's too polite to turn them down. Has made out with a tipsy Johnny Cage in the middle of one of his parties.

Nightwolf: Does not drink and despises the idea of doing so, though he won't tell anyone why. He and Fujin tend to keep each other company as the rest of the defenders get shitfaced, basically babysitting them.

After months of settling in Awa'atlu after the war, Tonowari finally allowed some of Jake's most trusted dreamwalker friends to visit from time to time. Once Jake deemed the samson's location wasn't being tracked, he immediately gave Norm the 'go' signal.

Now, why does this news had Lo'ak's ears perking up as he listened to his father talking to his comms with Norm?

Well, Spider comes in close second, but with you it's different. Because ever since growing up in the forest with the two of you, he grew close to you and Spider rather than some of his family. That's when he also discovered he had taken a liking to you.

"Baby brother can't wait to meet his little human, hm?" Neteyam teased as Lo'ak bared his fangs and hissed at him for his teasing.

"Hey, quit it." Jake says, but there's a playful tone in his voice too.

Lo'ak winced, wanting nothing to rid himself as the center of attention between his brother and father. So he stands, brushing off his loincloth before nodding at his father then at Neteyam. "I'll just go outside."

He didn't even get to hear their reply as he was already out the door.

Before he knew it, he was looking at the aircraft in the sky, its blades whirring loudly and spraying sand everywhere as it landed and had left a ringing in his ears until the engines turn off.

The rest of the Metkayina had gotten used to it by now, but some would still stand there, inspecting what could they have bought today.

To your surprise it seemed like Lo'ak had gotten a little taller than before, his features sharpening. But the sour look on his face makes you tilt your head.

"Hey, Pandora to Lo'ak, you there? You don't seem happy to see me." You joke.

Lo'ak shakes his head, features softening as his eyes widened as he looks down at you and a smile forms on his face. "(Y/N)!"

Without thinking, he pulls you up in a hug which makes you grab onto him for dear life as you were suddenly hoisted up a couple feet in the air as you laughed. "Woah woah, chill! You're about to kill me!"

Lo'ak smiles as your eyes met, his big yellow eyes staring right into your small ones. "Sorry." He mutters sheepishly, slowly letting you down as his hands brush over your skin that leaves tingles in its wake.

The silence was broken by you. "So! What have you been up to?"

After Lo'ak had showed you fruits you haven't tasted before, having you and him explore things in the ocean, and telling you stories of his week, it was your turn.

"Yeah you should've seen the way Neteyam looked as I told Payakan to go faster as he was holding onto him." Lo'ak laughs, recalling the memory.

You laugh at his stories, your smile never left your face the moment you two talked and hung out.

Lo'ak coughs, subtly moving the topic to you. "So, (Y/N)," he starts.

You raise your eyebrows at him, urging him to go on.

That sends your cheeks to go warm as he inspects you. "Thank you, I- I made it myself." You say, smiling proudly as you looked down at your set of clothes.

Lo'ak was about to speak again when you bought up something he wasn't expecting. "I couldn't have done it without Käetxo's help!" You smile, remembering your friend.

"Käetxo?" Lo'ak repeated, squinting his eyes as if to remember someone back in the forest with that name.

"Yes, he's amazing and did you know he just completed his dream hunt? I was worried for him." You said in a worried tone that had Lo'ak's ears almost flattening against his head.

Lo'ak was about to change the subject as a certain dislike for that 'Käetxo' grew but you seemed to have picked that as the next topic, which as seconds passed as he heard nothing but stories of him come out of your mouth had him frowning.

"We went exploring one time and he taught me how to shoot a bow properly and how I could make all kinds of knots for traps!"

Lo'ak was sure you could catch a glance of smoke coming out of his as he breathed out rather harshly, thinking how this guy could possibly had his hands over you, your arms- your waist.

"Can't you talk about something else?!" Lo'ak suddenly bursts out, surprising you mid-sentence as your mouth hanged open, staring at him.

"Lo'ak...?" You say, tilting your head and scooting closer to him as he was across from you.

He shakes his head, huffing. "I'm sorry- It just...sucks I can't hang out with you anytime when he gets to have you all to himself."

The last part wasn't supposed to come out as his eyes widened. "Forget that, tell me something else, just not about him." He said.

"Why..?" Oh you knew why. You were observing him not too long ago how his fists would clench whenever you mention him and how his ears seem to flatten as his tail swayed annoyingly behind him.

Lo'ak doesn't respond. You chuckle. "You jealous?" Saying that probably had your friendship dangling on thin wire but you just had to push your luck sometimes, you never know.

"No, why don't you go back and have fun with him then?" He said, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, Lo'ak you skxawng." You say, having enough of hiding your feelings for him. "I wore this for you, hoping you'd notice- you did." You laugh.

Lo'ak's brain freezes. "Huh?"

"I said nothing." You played, scooting away; but it was his turn to scoot closer to you, almost a little too close.

"Say it again." You could feel the warmth of his arms that was keeping you from escaping.

1) What was your first exposure to TMNT?

Ok so I must've encountered the ninja turtles SOMETIME during my childhood. It's one of those things I kinda knew about but didnt care to look into. And I learned recently that my mom didn't like TMNT so I'm guessing she sabotaged my exposure to them growing up /lh. The clearest memory of TMNT that I have was when my honors humanities high school teacher was trying to get us to remember the Renaissance artists.

I have headcanon as to why yaya and ying can't fly fang's spaceship but they can fly adudu's. It's because they are different models. Sure fang's is also an older model, but maybe compared to adudu's antique spaceship it's younger. It's like power steering in cars: earlier models cars uses greater effort to make a turn than newer models. Ying uses more force than needed to steer fang's ship because it's the normal force to steer adudu's. In galaxy S1 stealthbot eps, ying can fly a spaceship when escaping from vargoba before papa zola takes over. Maybe because of adrenaline? Adrenaline can make people do craziest things. Or maybe it's because they just have to escape, no maneuvering needed, just hit the gas /shrugs/

In some sense, my theory is that those two aren't the one who control the steering wheel.

Logically, controlling a huge ship requires more than one person to control it. We need a person to control the throttle, the engine, the wing maneuvers etc.

And the captain may or may not be in charge to steer the ship.

What Yaya and Ying did from Galaxy 1 till Sori were usually handled the engine and throttle part. I could be wrong but they didn't actually steer the wheel.

Steering ship is not the same as steering car anyway. Specially spaceship.

Unless we are talking about planes. That's entirely different story.

But then again, I'm not expert at this field but learning this type of thing surely fun. Just look at other spaceship movie references such as Star Wars, Star Trek, or MCU movies like Guardians of The Galaxy. Look at how they fly their ship.

Coulson got into bed beside her, slow and aching. There was warmth in that too, somehow. May curled up, setting her head against his shoulder, her weight solid and still somehow light against his side. She wasn’t actually reading any more, just flipping idly through pages. 

There was moonlight fading gently through the curtains. It was like they could see all the world’s stars out on the porch, most nights -- but it was chilly out there on this one. The stars would still be there tomorrow.  

“You tired?” 

May’s voice was soft. She was in better shape than he was, these days, because of course she was, but the hot water bottle half-tangled in blankets said she ached, too. 

“Mm. A little.” 

Tired meant something kind of different, these days. It was the years weighing down his bones, the way everything was somehow going so much faster the more they slowed down. It was a good feeling, most days, the way certain kinds of melancholy wrap around you like a blanket. 

May hummed again. 

“How are you feeling?” 

That slight shift of her weight was surprise. May leaned over to put her book down before she answered, switching off the lamp. She still insisted on sleeping on the side by the door, still carried those old specialist reflexes; unlikely reaction times and the almost cat-like effortlessness to it. He’d lost most of that to those months of deterioration, years ago; but the vigilance, the automatic, constant analysis was still there. They still went people-watching every once in a while, mostly to watch the world go by and be judgy old people in peace (May zeroed in on every leather ensemble that passed and ran background checks on stores instead of people, these days). They’d fought their wars.

May moved slower these days, limped more days than she didn’t, but she could still take Yo-yo’s entire STRIKE team. She didn’t teach much any more, but Yo-yo still wheedled her out to do demonstrations every once in a while. She said it kept the youngsters in their place. 

Phil got to spend every day beside her steadiness, steadfast as the mountains, and that was as safe as he could ever ask to be. 

“A squirrel stole all the strawberries off the plant,” May stated, as she curled up beside him again. Coulson wrapped long arms around her as she huffed, one arm draped warm over his belly. “All three of them.” 

Phil jostled them both with a startled laugh. “That does not answer the question.” 

“I feel like the squirrel.” May told the darkness, and also him, prim and matter-of-fact. The drowsiness in her voice was getting thicker by the moment. “Like I stole something nice and I’m happy about it.” 

Phil was outright belly-laughing by then, trying to get the blanket untangled from around his ankles without having to sit up to tug at it. So much for philosophizing. May lifted her head in annoyance at all the jostling, dropped her cheek back on his chest once he paused to gasp for breath. 

“Ask me how I’m doing next time,” she muttered, mostly asleep already. “ Please. ” 

“Ohohoho, like hell. You, Melinda May, just told me you feel like a strawberry-stealing squirrel. I am never asking you anything other than how are you feeling ever again.” 

There was no answer. May could feign sleep as well as anyone -- better, actually, since she’d finally trained herself to stagger the length of each exhale so you couldn’t crack the rhythm by counting to it. Phil lay still for a long minute, grinning into the darkness, just listening to the quiet snuffle of her peaceful breathing.

She might actually just be asleep.

She's the mean girl of the show, and a pretty interesting take on the "bitchy vain school rival of the protagonist" trope. She spends most of her early screentime being a bully and most of her later screentime being both the biggest loser imaginable and deeply sad/troubled (which still does not erase how much of an asshole she can be). She even laughs like your stereotypical mean rich girl. Nanami has so many problems and sucks so so bad. I adore her.

Shes a psychotic bully who seeks to ruin the lives and reputations of any girl who gets more of her brothers attention than she does. Reasons Nanami Kiryuu deserves to win: - she has made many attempts at physical and psychological terrorism against Anthy Himemiya (including a plotted wardrobe malfunction at a crowded social gathering) simply for drawing more of her brother's attention than her - tried to fill Anthy's bedroom with wild animals (a snail, a snake, and a live octopus) to make her out to be a freak only to find that her room was already full of wild animals - she bankrolled an elementary schoolers crush on her to turn him into her personal boyservant - briefly non-personed a member of her bully entourage for sharing an umbrella with her brother - received a luxury cowbell due to a shipping error and smugly wore it to school for weeks flaunting it like high coture - when her bully entourage rebelled against her due to her brothers manipulation she brought them back in line by just straight up beating the shit out of all of them - all in all just a petty, goonish motherfucker (she also does the ohohohohoho anime girl laugh)

she's blond: despite being Japanese her hair is yellow, unlike her brother's. yellow is even her image color. she's a jerk: introduced as a jealous and dishonest scheming bully, she is one of the more outwardly antagonistic characters in a cast where pretty much everyone is a Real Piece Of Work she's the best: the quintessential ohoho-laughing ojou, her fully-realized character arc makes people both laugh and cry even her sidekick is a blond jerk! how many blond jerks have their own blond jerk sidekick?

Absolutely THE quintessential anime mean girl. I mean literally her laughing is THE meme for the hohohoho anime laugh. Needs attention So Badly and straight up bullies anyone she deems a threat to that (so basically Everyone). I haven’t finished RGU but apparently she duels with the intent to kill and drowned a kitten once because it was taking up too much of her brother’s attention? Also she’s 13 which explains a lot

I literally. I love everything about this quote. THE WAY SHE SAYS THE t IN “center” IS EVERYTHING. ALSO GRUMPY AMITY + HAPPY GO LUCKY LUZ WILL ALWAYS BE MY #1 . FOREVER also blight twins <3 and then when the guy book comes to life I cannot TELL YOU. how much I GIGGLED AT THIS SCENE. FIRST OF ALL. I REALLY LOVE HOW WE REALLY GET TO SEE EDA’s WEIRD STYLE OF TEACHING. AND LIKE WE ALL KNOW EDA’s AWESOME AND THAT ITLL WORK OUT IN THE END. BUT WITH THE WHOLE SNOW EATING THING ETC ETC I KINDA WAS LIKE UNSURE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN BECAUSE?? WHAT R U SUPPOSED TO DO WITH EATING SNOW?? SO WHEN LUZ LEARNT HER FIRST GLYPH WITH EDA’s TECHNIQUE I MEAN IT WAS EXPECTED BECAUSE. YEA BUT IT WAS ALSO THE MOST SATISFYING CLICK CAUSE IT WAS LIKE OHHHHHHHHHHHH.
