YES HULLO !! i dont want to spoil anything too much and im also working on a field guide sort of thing for the different stages of infection so im gonna try not to talk about those rite neow BUT im so glad that people r enjoying it! so id been seeing these scary mlp infection things ALLL over my tik tok feed for weeks and i was like .. yanno .. itd be really silly if i made this wof .. so i spent like 3 days mulling over what i could make the infection actually BE and i almost made it like the icewing plague but like it went scary but i didnt really know how to keep going with that so then i came up with a super smart idea which turned into this😋i dont wanna say where it started yet cuz ermm lore stuff but i will say that liek in the story the infection doesnt officially have a name yet so everyones just calling it like. the sickness at jade mountain. most of the infected originated IN jade mountain with the first symptoms being noticed in moon and turtle respectively, and then with the icewing students. i cant tell you guys how they got sick bc again . lore ..... but i think that its like kinda possible to find out. but i dunno. vulture and fierceteeth are also sick. there is ONE singular factor that unites these 4 + icewings, which miight b the reason WHY they got sick.kinkajou technically SHOULD be sick but she isnt for another reason that i cant say but if you really look into wof lore then i think u can figure it out idk. the infections transmitted via saliva/blood transmission, so mainly bites. tail barbs of infected sandwings are capable of spreading the sickness. there are 4 stages (5 if you count death) and it takes around 3 to 3.5 weeks for all stages to finish,, by ep3 the sickness has been around for ~2.5 weeks. the only KNOWN cure is amputation of wherever the infected area is,, so MUCH easier in early stages, unfortunate if its on an inconvenient spot, and impossible after hives start spreading. obvi flame had to be important bc i heart flame and i was like .. wait .. hes a healer in canon ...... so that worked out perfectly !! ik that in canon liana is like one of glorys MANY bodyguards but idc shes a healer here bc ermm i said so . also liana and mango r dating but i dont think that its relevant to the plot theyre just girlfriends in my head . as of right now kinkajou and peril are the only known immune dragons, with kinkajou for reasons currently unknown and peril bc . yknow . shes on fire . glory is in close contact with ruby and both kingdoms have taken measures to notify their kingdoms; the rainforest is under a sort of lockdown with rainwings on constant patrol/lookout for outsiders entering, they accept anyone who isnt infected to stay there for refuge while the skywing kingdom is in basically total lockdown other than ruby's messengers. ruby and glory also exchange their respective kingdoms medical knowledge, with the skywings having very good technology and rainwings having an expansive knowledge on medical herbs. nobody has heard from coral- the last thing she did was call for anemone's return back to the kingdom, and once she arrived, they all went underwater and have since then cut all outside contact. the mudwings are aware of the sickness but have so far done nothing about it; moorhen has warned her subjects but thats really it. i havent really decided what the sandwings or the icewings are up to but let me tell you guys its looking really rough for the icewings . so far it looks as though royal icewings are more resilient- tundras currently sick, but the sickness seems to be progressing much slower. this was initially believed to be because of the cold, but then other icewings started getting sick, and so its believed to just be a royal thing- likely something in their genetics. icicle is also sick but shes in stage 4 .. pray for my girl guys. lynx is helping snowfall out the best she can, but with the population getting increasingly sick seemingly spontaneously, its extremely difficult and stressful. the talons have quarantined sanctuary too. ok im outta characters but ya ty 4 the support!!

Basically she, unlike Subaru, she wasn't really that known by her peers as a child (matter of fact, she was invisible) but as she grew up, she learned to face her own fears and started communicating more. People's expectations of her? She thinks it doesn't matter because its what they want, not her. She also joins a lot of competition ever since she got older.

Closet-ish otaku. Unlike Subaru, she doesn't pull out references but stoops down to other people's level and give them words that they understand. But the moment people ask about what she likes....she becomes a yap lord.

SO BASICALLY i started writing my post-canon gravity falls series deconstruction and i wanted it to focus on the twins and their relationships with people who knew them before gravity falls and the easiest way to do that? their parents babey.

so we have adina and robert pines :] rob is shermie's son and stan and ford's nephew. i don't worry too much about the timeline of all of this but rob and adina r in their 30s-40s and theyre also my favorite straight people ever. they met in college when rob was in the middle of dming a game of dd&md and adina saw him and went "that is the biggest loser i've ever seen in my life. he's so passionate about his stupid monster voices. i Have to know more about him." and then rob went "oh my god i need to be the guy to make her laugh" and from there they started dating and honestly they got engaged and married pretty swiftly, they just both kinda fell head over heels :]

as far as the whole "argument and possibly divorce" thing, my take on it is that rob (who works as a computer programmer, i havent decided if he does like. idk what he programs. finance systems? who knows) but he got offered a new job that paid more somewhere else. and he was like "hmmm nah i dont think so i like what im doing and i dont want the big change that comes with switching jobs and also having to work in an office instead of from home" and adina was like WHAT. the pines r not like. hurting for money i must be clear. rob makes a good amount and adina is a child & adolescence psychologist (that wont cause any problems in the series im sure) and like they have very stable sources of income. its just not like. yk. god forbid theres a medical emergency or something, and there's still student debt and probably a mortgage in the picture, and so adina thinks he shouldve gone for it for the extra stability. just to be sure. shes the kind of woman to show up to the airport like a week early. rob is the kind of guy to go "ehhh we'll get there when we get there" and so they clash a little on these kinds of things. basically my take is dipper overheard them arguing about it, probably heard adina say something heated and out of context bc she gets a little too RAHHHH when it comes to conflict. but i dont think them sending the kids away was to cover up some tension in the marriage or anything, i think its an argument that just so happened to come along at that time, and it's not nearly as serious as dipper thinks it is. he just has an anxiety disorder lmfao. the pines r a very combative family it is Not just the grunkles and the kids <3 so sometimes fights seem very big when theyre really not at all.

Fenn also has a thing for Red eyes, it's one of the reasons Fenn was so drawn to MC in the first place because the first woman he ever loved was a groomer an Avarian with red eyes

There are many sequences of Fenn complimenting the other Avarian characters for their eyes, the battle sequences at the top of my head, turn on the effects when you go to do battles, doesn't matter if its event battle or regular battle, and the sequences will appear with the character whose route your currently reading in the top right and your opponent in the bottom left, the characters will usually say a word or two before your left to tap tap tap, there are like standard regular lines they'll say but there are like pairing specific ones that appears every once in a while, example Guy vs the headmaster, guy will say "I must best you" or something like that(I forgot exactly what) and the headmaster will say "Peace Master Avari" regardless of whether your playing Guy or the headmaster, it just changes who says it first, Tino vs Lynt is, Tino has "oh no... young master..." and Lynt says "I prefer your bread" its specific to the pairing, but I forgot whether its Guy or Jasper but if you're playing Fenns path(or Guy or Jasper) and your opponent is one of them(or Fenn) he'll say "I really like your eyes"

Edit: I found the sequences, it fenn and Jasper, Fenn says "I rather like your eyes" and Jasper says "i delight in the hunt" idk guys that sounds homo erotic😳 they were flirting there

thoughts before i start season 3:

first two seasons are still really good. the full performance of the crescent moon dance will never not hit.

i dont think it's correct to call this anime "queerbaiting" but like yeah it does still suck how close they get to being yuri without it actually being yuri

liz and the blue bird. is so good. i recommend everyone watch liz and the blue bird even if you havent seen the anime at all. its a beautiful work of art and naoko yamada is a genius as always.

tbh not all of the melodrama beats hit with me? frankly i don't like most of the third movie cuz the teen melodrama is pretty nonsensical to me WHICH SUCKS CUZ THAT MOVIE HAS THE FULL PERFORMANCE OF LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD idk maybe im just not the biggest fan of kanade and we don't get nearly enough time with the other first years for me to really care about them much. maybe it's just due to it being a movie rather than a full anime season.

also in the third movie i DO think it's correct for shuuichi and kumiko to date right at the beginning and then realize it's not working out due to teen emotions and also juggling band practice. again wrt calling this anime "queerbaiting" i don't think that's accurate but at the very least by the end of this movie the "obviously canon" straight couple doesn't actually work out lol

the ensemble contest movie had some cute stuff in it and i think kumiko, reina, and shuuchi as the new club leaders trio is a fun dynamic. i like shuuchi as a character i think it's fun that he's a wimpy eyerolly guy teaming up with the weirdly passionate not-gay-but-still-gay girl couple. i am partial to the kyoani type of "normal guy and idiosyncratic girl"-isms fuckin sue me i think it's fun (i know this is a trope that goes beyond kyoani but i think it's particularly fun when kyoani does it)

ummmm other characters i really like... natsuki and yuuko's dynamic is very cute, i have VERY mixed feelings about nozomi and mizore bc i felt like the melodrama in s2 didn't hit for me but then in liz and the blue bird it was like viewing everything from such a different perspective in way??? and because in liz their relationship actually changes and they are finally communicating but yea love them in liz, not so much in the beginning of s2.

asuka best girl OBVIOUSLY. her inner drama makes the most sense to be actually dramatic and ofc she's just a lot of fun and a weird pretty glasses girl with inner turmoil whats not to love! and the other s1-2 third years ofc kaori is a sweetheart and haruka really grew on me i love that shes a bit of a crybaby AND THE BARITONE SAX SOLO IN S2 IS SO GOOD

side characters that have less screentime but deserve shoutouts: tanabe aka KNUCKLE the third year percussionist boy in s1-2, the two clarinet girls in s1-2: one is a third year w glasses and the other is a first year w bangs that cover her eyes and they have a cute moment at graduation, ririka and the bass clarinet girls in liz and onwards (double reed crew)

okay listen i cannot emphasize how much thought has been put into this, i have backstories for each of the pokemon, i know how all of them met their trainers, ive designated the serious trainers with a specific type of pokemon they train, like. listen to me. i have put SO much thought into this and how pokemon would fit into the lmk universe and canon. im going insane.

anyways, heres some of the pokemon/trainer lineups. ive done..... a large majority of the important cast? i havent gone into azure's whole group, but i think thats all im missing. i've done a lot.

okay okay some notes:

Pigsy didn't want MK having too many pokemon, partially because of mess/healthcode violations, and also because of money reasons. he had just the one pokemon the for the majority of his life, and after 'A Hero Is Born' pigsy was 1. so glad that MK was alive that he didn't care and 2. mk promised to keep it away from the kitchen and pay for all of its needs itself and ect ect. it was very much a 'PLEAAAASEEE can I keep it 🥺' kind of thing. The Kubfu mainly stays at the training ground (its very dedicated), so that wasn't an issue.

For Mei, she chose the trapinch (the preevolution of the vibrava) at the pokemon equivalent of a pet store bc its a tradition in the family to get a dragon-type pokemon when they turn twelve. her parents showed her a bunch of options and she thought the final evolution looked epic. The Boltund is known for chasing fast things, including vehicles. it chased her until the finish line and she was delighted to have attracted such a fast pokemon. the pawmi was just a little guy that she was secretly messing with instead of paying attention to red son XD

okay there's not too much extrapolation i have to go into for red son, BUT. the fact that none of his pokemon have evolved was/is a major sore point for him, and his parents often were critical on whether they (and by proxy, red son) were strong enough. Now he and his parents are more normal about it, and ironically its the lack of stress and pressure that's going to make it easy for them to evolve now. smth smth friendship is an important part of a pokemon's health, its like a whole character arc for him.

AND THATS NOT ALL. I wanted to go over like... specifically why i chose some of these pokemon!! like, for MK, his pokemon represent different parts of him, like, narratively!

the whimscott is playful, loves pranks, and its kind of a metaphor for the more childish side of him? Which is why i made it his first pokemon! (I also chose it because it reminded me of the monkey kings cloud, which i feel like his younger self would have wanted sooo bad LMAO)

the monferno is obviously related to his connection to the monkey king, but most importantly it hangs in packs, and THEREFORE represents his love for his friends bc obviously that's a huge part of him, yk? (I also really like this pokemon for him bc it matches his color scheme XD)

And for the Kubfu, the episode it was found on is very important! the kubfu is known for how dedicated it is to its training both its body and its mind, as well as its "fighting spirit". Sooo obviously it represents MK's sense of duty and his want to train to be better! He and his kubfu train a LOT in season 2, when he's trying to prepare for the LBD. (Fun Fact: this was almost Wukong's pokemon, but i couldnt stop drawing connections to MK when looking at it because its got the little bandana and everything, and i thought it was too similar to him to be wukongs pokemon. i mean, if he already mentored that pokemon, that would make the fact that he's mentoring MK way less meaningful, yk?)

uhhhh okay first, PRE-MEXICO. i think mickey broke out in the first place because he knew ian wasnt gonna wait for him. i think if ian didnt break up with him and dedicated himself to being a prison boyfriend (?) mickey wouldve stayed in. (i also think he wouldve found a skeevy defense lawyer who owes the milkoviches some debts and appealed his conviction bc lets be honest its total bullshit that he got locked away just based off sammi's unreliable testimony. like where the fuck was debby to lie under oath and say mickey was with her the whole time and she saw sammi take more pills than usual and go outside to move things. sorry im losing the plot this is NOT the time to discuss my s6 rewrite.) mikey haf absolutely no reason to stay in prison, stay in chicago, so i think after nearly 2 years of no visits from ian he just gave the fuck up. why not try to escape? hes smart, he can conjure up a decent plan, right? worst case scenario he goes back to prison, which didnt really fucking matter to him bc he was in prison anyway and he just. didnt care anymore.

so, he broke out and contacted ian ina last-ditch effort to get the love of his life back. he knew ian wasnt gonna wait for him, but at the docks hes obviously still shocked to hear ian moved on fast enough to have a boyfriend already. then ian agreed to go to mexico and mickey was SO READY to start LIVING HIS LIFE. he thought that would be IT. him and his lover in mexico at the beach, getting away from all the bad memories of chicago and having a place to START OVER!!! then ian changed his mind last minute and mickey was fucking CRUSHED. AGAIN. and all of a sudden now hes in mexico alone and all his previous plans went out the fucking window because he totally didnt spend the past few days rearranging his plans to revolve around ian being with him.

i dont really think a lot about mickey's time in mexico. i think he was sad. i think he was angry. i think he just did what he could to stay alive and try to move on but he never really didnt. i think he kept his head low and did his job in the cartel and tried to learn spanish but it was too fucking hard so he gave up on that pretty quickly and attached himself to the multilingual members of the gang. i definitely dont think he had a boyfriend. im sure he fucked around with other guys, but i also think he spent more time laying in his shitty apartment that he shared with like 4 other guys trying not to cry too loud thinking about what could have been.

i also dont think he worked for el chapo lmfao sorry to anyone who thinks that but the timeline doesnt even line up. and if he somehow did have a part in taking down el chapo he wouldve been put in witness protection. he probably wouldve gotten killed anyway tho

my dumb ass didnt realize he got a new tattoo until like deep into s10 and i gaslit myself into thinking it was always there LMFAO but i love that he got another tattoo there. i like to think this one was with a clean needle. i dont think this happened in canon, but MY mickey wouldve gotten a tongue piercing! perhaps other ones too. a couple other tattoos, a cartilage piercing, an eyebrow, his nipples. idk. just to change his appearance more. yeah. thats. the only reason.

anyway i think he got back into the US by working with an undercover cop and being a part of a pre-planned drug bust that included him being "arrested" and making it seem like he got extradited to the US only for being wanted. if he wouldve just waltzed into a precinct and said "hey i got dirt on this cartel" his as wouldve been killed so quickly. it needed to be a lot more covert so the other members didnt catch on and get rid of him. i do think eventually they probably figured out he was the anonymous witness whose interviewed were used in trial, which is why when he gets released in s10 the CO tells him the cartel is looking for him. sorry im going all Law & Order here talking about a s6 trial and now a trial against the cartel i need to stop
