I'm going to try to break this down as kindly as I can. If you still don't get it when I'm done, I recommend ruminating on it for a few days instead of continuing to expect answers from someone who was quite literally just the victim of art theft. I'm assuming good faith from you, but at a certain point continuing to ask for clarification rather than taking time to self reflect stops being good faith and becomes badgering instead.

Your argument seems to be "I'm too poor to support artists" and "AI art is bad so why are artists threatened?" and "they wouldn't get money from me anyway, so why would me using AI art bother them?" This is my incomplete breakdown of the answer:

Point #1:

You are not entitled to someone else's free labor just because you're poor.

Being too poor to afford art has never given anyone the right (or moral highground) to just take it because they wanted it badly enough.

There ARE all sorts of free and willingly given sources of art in the world. Picrews are posted BY ARTISTS with the INTENTION of people using them. They're free and exclicit consent has been given. You can use dollmakers, or free character creaters from various games. These all exist, are free, and are approved for free use.

Use those.

Point #2:

AI art is not about you.

The way it WORKS is that art someone spent a lifetime learning to make is put into an algorithm that will now FOREVER have that art piece in its library to freely chop up and scrapbook it into whatever it's told to make. Into something decent. Adequate. It makes concept art quality art. And once it's in there, it can't really be undone.

These programs are in their infancy-- you saying that they're bad so they can't be a threat misses two points: 1) they're NOT actually bad, they're just concept art quality. They look rushed and unfinished. 2) The more these programs are used the better theyll get.

Did you know that "Concept artist" is a job title? With AI art as an option, those jobs might get replaced. Not likely all of them, but almost certainly some.

Supporting AI art programs validates their use, which will directly contribute to the loss of real jobs by real artists.

And as for directly affecting individual artists, YOU may not have money to support them, but others do. Are they still going to, when they can get essentially a shittier version of EXACTLY that person's art style (not similar, but EXACTLY because the program LITERALLY COPIES ART) for zero dollars? Some people will. Many people won't. Some of that number would have before, when paying was the only avenue through which to achieve their desired result, and artists RELY on people like that to make a living. Supporting AI art is supporting less money going to artists, even if you're not the one with the cash.

Most artists are also poor. If you can't afford to support them financially, the very LEAST you can do is not harm their finances by supporting an immoral "alternative" to paying them for their services.

Last point (for now):

Stealing people's labor and calling it your own IS what AI art is. This person in the original post may have given credit to OP, but 1) the Ai program didn't, and 2) they notably didn't give credit to any of the OTHER artists being ripped off in that scrapbooked mishmash AI pic. The background looks like 2 or 3 images at least, the clothes I'd guess more like 4 or 5, the hair at least 2, and the face is clearly just ripped from another drawing. No credit is given to any of these artists. The program is not even trying to give credit (and inherently doesn't want to-- the program's creators are trying to seem innovative), but even the twitter post who's "trying" only mentions the one they know.

And even if they were all mentioned, their consent ought to be required before their art is used. The only reason this isn't illegal is because it's too new to have laws about it.

Since these people are a literal plague for the art community, and everyone should be warned about them, here's a funny infuriating thing that happened not even five minutes ago:

Parallel universe theory

What is parallel universe ?

Basically it says that there are multiverse which means that our universe is not the only one , but many universe exist parallel to us.

Existence of parallel world and how we can travel in it?

First of all the reference I am using are 100% valid . There is mention of multi universe many times. In Hinduism, there is another concept of the 14 lokas or worlds. It states that there are 7 worlds above the plane that humans exist on called Vyarthis and 7 worlds below the plane called Patalas.

The Vedic texts mention that there are unlimited universes that exist simultaneously, but each is a separate and enclosed unit. They also mention that there are different dimensions within one universe. Those dimensions are accessible in different states of consciousness.

I would also like to further add that in Srimat Bhagvat Geeta there is a great example of multi universe explained by Krishna ji. The story is big so I will just tell the last part when Brahma ji show god's looking like him flying he said "who are this fraud " Krishna ji replied that "none of them are fraud, o Brahma"“Then who are they?”asked Brahma ,“I am the lord Brahma who created this universe.”

“That’s true”lord Krishna said,“But you are the creater of This Universe. There are countless other universes present out there. You only see about what you have done, what you have created, but at all if them. They are all just like you. They have created their universes as you have, but they are not as arrogant or selfish as you are, because they know that they were only doing there duty, as it is the duty of Brahma to create the universe, Vishnu to run it, and of Shiva(also referred to as the god of the gods, mahadev to destroy it.”

People who have said to travel to parallel universe have said that it somehow looks very similar to earth or even different. At last it depends on us how to take it.

Adding my two cents

To me our soul can and have travelled to various universe and is not limited to this 3d world. And I do believe in the existence of multiple universe to people who are into spirituality know that there is no reality. And it depends on us how we many to precive our reality. Our soul family guides and many more can be also part of other universe in short there is no end point of this universe.

'arya is out of character ' lmao. Did they miss the part in the books where arya was raining kisses on jon and looking shyly up at him? Proof that jonsas didn't red the book and dont know what aryas actual character is or they know but still push the fanon arya agenda. Your arya and jon is completely in character. They would know how much obsessed jon is with arya if they read his chapters. Or they do and greet their teeth and ignore it.

Actually every single jonsa fic is out of character. In which sansa is basically turned into arya. Jonsas aren't even embarrassed about it. Canon jon and sansa dont give a fuck about each other unlike arya and jon.

I realised immediately that the reviewer wasn’t an Arya fan because they didn’t like the fact I was using book quotes. On that fic, I was using the line “What do you know of my heart / what do you know of my sister”. It’s a beautiful line for a beautiful relationship and they’ve always been unable to handle it. Roles reversed, they’d never shut up about it.

Actually, don’t even need to reverse the roles. They’re constantly stealing from Arya and lift quotes out of context to frame it like it’s foreshadowing and dupe so many fans into thinking it’s valid. A significant portion of that fandom have never read the books or actually know Sansa’s character and it’s blatantly obvious. Tragic really, she’s actually quite interesting in the books. Not the self-insert they’ve made her into, but the character itself.

I don’t actually give a damn what someone ships and why. I stopped paying them mind a long time ago. I’ve got over 50 of their poisonous blogs blocked so I literally never have to engage with their side ever. If they want to bother me instead of minding their own, it just makes them look stupid. That’s their decision, I’m not forcing them to interact with me, but it’s very pathetic and I suggest they get over themselves. Ship what you want, but there’s no need to go around tearing down everyone around you.
