Niceties with heaven, and with this woman went out the window long ago. “It won’t bring him back. It won’t bring back any of the souls you lost. You’re simply fighting for vengeance. And who’s to say we shouldn’t do the very same to Heaven for all the souls we have to avenge?”

It takes maybe two minutes for the hiccupping breaths to finally even out, for his body to just kind of slump into the comfort. For now, Lucifer just enjoys the other's warmth and the hug that he hasn't had since back in the days of Eden.

For once, it was Adam's turn to support. He held Lucifer, rocking slowly, his wings a soft blanket and shield. His clawed hand gently caressing Lu's hair as tears still fell down his eyes. But he knew the smaller angel needed him.

Was he dead? Did he die again? He didn't know...but he almost wished he was. The allure of oblivion better than being in Hell.....even heaven.

Until he opened his eyes to find himself in a building with red blankets and crimson pillows. A place with the portrait of that little brat....Lucifer's kid.

And with horror Adam realized.....he was still alive. But in Hell.....trapped.

With the hotel having been rebuilt, Charlie had been working hard to get her people to come to it. They had a few more, seeing how things were getting better. Certainly helped that her father was around and people still thought she was crazy but in the end, they had stopped the Extermination. But when she saw a sinner, looking fresh yet he looked very familiar, she brought him inside. She knew that it was scary watching up in a place that was unfamiliar. So she made sure to place him in a room with a bunch of blankets and pillows.

Of course, it was her room. She hadn't used it much, far too busy to be doing things to get everything ready. Coming back with a small tray of food, mostly finger food that wouldn't really spoil only to spot the person awake. She beamed at him, quickly making her way over, "Hi! Glad to see you are awake! How are you feeling?"

In comes Adam and Lute flying in for a visit. And they're holding baskets wrapped in warm blankets.

They brought a surprise for Charlie and the Hazbin gang....a very eggie surprise!

"Adam, Lute!" the princess smiled brightly at them, happy to see them. It wasn't every day that they showed up in Hell.

"It has been a while! What have you got there?" Charlie asked, wondering what was in the baskets.

Lute had always gotten judgmental looks and heard from angels how she was able to tolerate Adam. Anyone can be with him for 10 minutes and they’d be sick of I’m but not lute. She didn’t care what anyone has to say she would always be with Adam til the very end of time. She saw every side of him and even got the privilege to be able to see past his mask. She would take it off occasionally when they were alone.

“Mmm you know it” her arms wrapped around his neck as he dug into her neck and nuzzled it. She chuckled slightly as she kissed the side of his helmet. They were alone, no other angel to bother them or report. She grinned “I would love to” her hands made their way under the rim of his helmet as she gently pulled it off his head. Her gold eyes meeting his as she cupped his face gently.

Lute blinked over at Adam cradling Harp in his arms, awestruck at the sight of their innocent child. Golden eyes still held a gentle fascination for the baby just as the day she was introduced to Heaven, that love blossoming with each given hour — never ending, and a new arc for motherly affection.

Harp yawned and reached out one of her chubby hands to gently grasp at Adam’s robe, tugging at it softly as sunlit eyes gazed up at her father with a newfound curiosity. A goofy grin took to her lips followed by a series of giggles, just barely sprouting wings wiggling like a dog’s tail in glee.

The reminder of what transpired, it's one she'd flung his way before and typically he takes no disparagement from anyone's lambasting, opting to either dismiss or deflect but, this time, something lands, causing a crack in his otherwise impenetrable exterior. For a split second or two, the anguish is made apparent.

"Adam's death was an unfortunate loss... and..." His eyes shut, he draws in a long inhale of breath before exhaling. "We all regret how far things were driven... but that remorse... it's being transmuted, even now as we speak! Adam will be redeemed, by-golly, how many times do I have to swear this to you and Sera before it gets through?!"

Lute was finishing up in Hell's embassy as she was setting up for the next meeting with Charlie. This time Sera had demanded that the meeting was in person instead of Adam doing it through a hologram. Lute would peer over at Melody who was sitting on the table playing with her own toys. She smiled straighten up the last stack of papers where Adam will be sitting at.

She grabbed a hold of Melody getting ready to head back to heaven when all of a sudden she was caught off guard by someone grabbing her from behind. She couldn't react fast enough due to a towel being placed over her nose as her vision went blurry. The last thing she heard was Melody cry out for her.

A demon had breached into the embassy and held them both at ransom. "Take them both away" The hound instructed his backup writing a letter for whoever came in contact first along with one of Lute's feather plucked. '

“I’m not saying to lie, jus’ saying that it’s maybe not best to have our work interrupted by what goes on in our personal lives sir” Lute didn’t express how she felt most of the times but if there was one thing she could do it through facial expressions. Honestly, she was about to laugh at the hickey she gave him and how everyone knew they did something due to them always being around one another. “Yet again… you are the dick master of heaven and hell but more importantly, you’re my dick master and I love you” she said before smirking slightly and coming closer to him.
