I needed gifs of King Candy actually driving/racing for reasons. For 'the greatest racer ever', we don't get a lot of scenes of him actually racing aside from the final race.

I'd like to request vodka lime in a wine glass please x
lando norris x fewtrell!sister
it's always been you
----------------------------------------------------------
The week of Silverstone, you found yourself at a cozy restaurant in London with your brother, Max, and his best friend, Lando. You were excited to see Lando since he wasnât in London often, and the three of you had grown up inseparable. Though you drifted apart as life got busier with school and Landoâs racing, every time you reconnected, it felt like no time had passed.
"You seem a little off," Max commented, breaking you out of your thoughts. Both he and Lando were looking at you curiously from across the table. "Whatâs on your mind?"
"Oh, itâs nothing," you said quickly, brushing it off.
"Doesnât seem like nothing," Lando chimed in, his eyes narrowing slightly.
You sighed, glancing down at your glass. "The bookstore Iâve been working at part-time for the last couple of years⊠the owners told me today that they might have to close in the next few months."
Youâd worked there throughout college, and even after landing your full-time corporate job, you couldnât give up the bookstore. The owners, an elderly couple, had become like family to you. The store was your safe haven, a place you truly loved. Your full-time job, on the other hand, left you uninspired, so the bookstore had been your refuge from the monotony of corporate life.
"Iâm so sorry, Y/N," Max said softly. "I know how much you love that place."
You nodded, a bit of sadness lingering as you shifted the conversation to something lighter, trying to salvage the mood. Dinner wrapped up, and you said your goodbyes, promising to see them both at the race in a few days.
The next day, as you stocked shelves at the bookstore, the familiar jingle of the bell caught your attention. Turning around, you saw Lando standing by the door, scanning the shop. When his eyes landed on you, he smiled.
"Hey! What are you doing here?" you asked, walking over to him.
"I wanted to see what was so special about this place," he said, glancing around the cozy store.
The comforting scent of old books filled the air as soft jazz played in the background. Rain tapped gently against the large windows, and a few people sat curled up in armchairs, flipping through books under the warm glow of vintage lamps.
"I get it now," Lando said, turning back to you with a smile. "Itâs very... you. Cozy."
You blushed at the compliment. "You want to grab a book while you're here? Something for the plane?"
"Sure. But Iâm not touching any self-help books," he teased, and you rolled your eyes, laughing.
"Come with me, Iâve got the perfect one," you said, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward the fantasy section. You reached for one of your favorites and handed it to him. His eyes widened at the size of the book.
"Y/N, this is huge!" he exclaimed.
"Itâs so worth it," you promised. "The characters are incredible. One of them actually reminds me of you. Heâs been through some rough patches and doesnât realize how amazing he is until everyone else shows him. By the end, he becomes this confident, fearless leader. Itâs... well, itâs really inspiring."
Lando was quiet as you spoke, just staring at you with a small smile. "Youâre adorable when you talk about books, you know that?"
You blushed even more, mumbling a shy "Thanks" as he took the book from your hands.
"Guess Iâll have to read it then," he said, following you to the counter. "What time do you get off?"
"Not for another hour," you said, ringing him up.
"How about we grab dinner after?" he asked, surprising you.
You hesitated, usually only hanging out with Lando when Max was around. "I donât want to make you wait."
He held up the book. "Iâve got this to keep me busy."
That evening, you and Lando went to your favorite nearby restaurant. Conversation flowed easily, just like old times.
"So, howâs the day job?" Lando asked between bites of pasta.
You shrugged. "Itâs... fine. Itâs just not what I thought it would be. Honestly, I wish I could work at the bookstore full-time, but, you know... itâs closing soon."
"Youâve tried to help them out, though, right?"
"Yeah, Iâve offered to handle marketing, organize events, bring in more customers, but the owners are kind of stuck in their ways. As adorable as they are, theyâre not too keen on change."
Lando frowned, clearly disappointed for you. The rest of the night passed smoothly, and when he walked you back to your apartment, he kissed you on the cheek in goodbye, leaving your thoughts spinning. You had never really seen him as anything more than your brotherâs best friend, but after today, you werenât so sure anymore.
The following weekend, you arrived at the bookstore only to be greeted by Evelyn, one of the owners.
"Y/N, we need to talk," she said, pulling you aside. Your heart sank, bracing for the worst.
"I know I told you a few weeks ago that we were struggling," Evelyn began, "but... someone made a very generous donation. Enough to keep us going for quite a while."
Your heart raced. "Wait, really? Who?"
"Some young man who wanted to stay anonymous. He said that everyone deserves to do what they love."
Tears pricked your eyes. "Oh my gosh, Evelyn, thatâs incredible!"
"But thereâs more," she continued, her voice soft. "Art and I are getting older, and we canât keep running this place forever. Weâd like you to take overâeffective immediately."
Your jaw dropped. "Wait, me? Are you sure?"
Evelyn chuckled. "Honey, you know this place better than anyone. Youâve got a business degree, and you love it here. Of course, youâre the one to take over."
You hugged her tightly, tears of happiness spilling from your eyes.
Weeks later, as you settled into your new role, you came across the âanonymousâ donation in the books. $100,000. Your eyes widened. Youâd assumed the donation had been a few thousand at most, but this was... insane. Then, your breath caught when you saw the signature.
Lando Norris.
You stormed out of the store, your heart pounding. That was too much money. There was no way you could accept it. Knowing he was at Maxâs place, you banged on the door.
"Y/N?" Max asked, startled as he let you in.
"Where is he?" you demanded.
Lando, lounging on the couch, froze when he saw you. You grabbed him by the hand and pulled him into the guest room, slamming the door behind you.
"$100,000, Lando?" you yelled. "Thatâs insane! Why would you do that?"
"Because itâs not just some random thing, Y/N," he said, stepping closer. "Itâs something that matters to you."
You blinked, confused. "But... why does that matter to you?"
"Because you matter to me," he said softly. "Everything thatâs important to you is important to me."
Your heart raced as his words sank in.
"If your dream is to run that bookstore, then thatâs my dream too," Lando continued. "Itâs always been you, Y/N. Iâve felt this way since we were kids. I just... never told you."
Tears welled up as you flung your arms around his neck. "Lando..."
He pulled back slightly, gazing into your eyes. "Give me a chance. A chance to be more than just your brotherâs best friend."
You smiled, your heart full. "I think I can do that. As long as you finish that book."

a/n: writing this bc uni just started for me and I hope this happens to me in class </3 (minus the embarrassing part)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2383f6d1e774833bf2cb323e8e1f9ab1/35469941c1a66a56-4b/s540x810/54c694535e79163d2088db2f69f8cb949f8876d9.webp)
choso sat in the back of the lecture hall, his oversized headphones blasting music so loud you could hear the faint beat, despite being seated right next to him. you tried to focus on the professor up front, but the heavy metal practically vibrated through your brain. with a huff, you paused your typing, your long acrylic nails hovering above the keys, and turned to look at himânow admiring his looks.
his head bobbed along with the music, thick fingers scribbling notes on his large ipad. his hands were adorned with chrome heart rings, matching perfectly with his facial piercings, and every time you saw him, he had on new jewelry that just made him⊠more attractive. this time, instead of his usual two buns, his hair was down, cascading past his shoulders. god, he looked good like that. you really wanted to tell him to keep his hair down more often, but just being near him made your heart race too fast to even speak.
he was all dressed in black, chunky doc martens completing his look, and you hadnât realized how long youâd been staring at him until he paused his music, sliding one side of his headphones off to look at you. your heart stopped.
âis my music too loud?â he asked softly, his voice catching you completely off guard. it was⊠sweet? you blinked, your laptop screen dimming as it fell asleep, just like your focus.
âjust a bit,â you mumbled, watching as he grabbed his phone, sliding down the volume with a smile that made your body melt.
âi like youâŠâ the words slipped out before you could stop them.
choso froze, one hand halfway to his headphones, looking at you like youâd just confessed. which⊠you basically did.
âi-i mean, i like your outfit!â you squeaked, heat flooding your body as your hands became sweaty as you mentally slapped yourself. choso just stared, eyebrows raised.
ân-not that i wouldnât like you!â you scrambled to explain, your voice lowering to avoid the stares from the people sitting nearby. âi-it just slipped out, i swear!â
chosoâs lips twitched, his amusement barely contained as he fully took off his headphones, leaning in slightly as if to hear you better. why not tease her, he thinks
âohh, i see. so, you wouldnât like me, huh? thatâs a little harsh.â his voice took on a mock-hurt tone, but the teasing glint in his eyes was undeniable.
you gasped, totally falling for it. âno! i didnât mean it like that! choâ, iâm soââ
wait.
you froze. did you just call him âchoââ? you definitely had never exchanged names, much less nicknames! your face drained of colour as choso smirked, clearly enjoying your panic.
âchoâ?â he raised a brow, his lip piercing catching the light. âdidnât know we were close like that.â he chuckled, low and teasing. âbut i donât mind. itâs cute.â
you wanted to melt into the floor. the secondhand embarrassment from the other students was evident, and your heart was pounding too hard to think straight. you shot up from your seat, nearly knocking over your bag in your rush to escape. all eyes were on you as you bolted out the back of the classroom, face burning with mortification.
you sprinted to the nearest bathroom, slamming the door behind you as you leaned against the sink. âoh my gosh,â you groaned, covering your face with your hands. he was totally going to think you were a stalker now. youâd found his instagram before it went private, and youâd seen his younger brother yuji calling him âchoââ in the comments. you were doomed.
meanwhile, back in the classroom, choso couldnât help the grin spreading across his face. he found your flustered state adorableâhe didnât think you were creepy at all. in fact, he wished youâd stayed a little longer so he could keep teasing you. with a soft chuckle, he tore a piece of paper from his artbook from his bag and scribbled down his number quickly as he placed the torn paper on your laptop.
âyou can always call me choâ ;)â

perv!butcher who gets handsy with you but of course he can, hes the leader!
mdni. DARK CONTENT WARNING, READ MY PINNED POST BEFORE CONTINUING. cw: manipulation, dubiously consensual/non con touching but reader is into it, abuse of power. Choking, somnophilia. Daddy kink. Massive daddy issues and butcher is a father figure to u in this, heavy on the taboo and age diff. <3 im down to make a part 2 to this if ppl are interested too ! w/c: 1.2k
Butcher isn't a nice man. He's ruthless, does what he wants, whenever he wants - he's definitely got some sort of conscience in there, but it's drowned out by the primary emotion that drives him. Lust. It's usually for blood, but this time, it's for you.
A pretty young thing, definitely not dumb but definitely inexperienced. Sometimes you don't know when to shut your mouth, too excitable and bubbly, too full of energy. You mean well, you do. But when Butcher already has a headache, your begging to take temp V is driving him mad.
"I'll be okay, it won't hurt me, I could just have cool powers like you, and it'll be all over the next day! It could really help, we don't know what I'd be able to do and it could be something helpful!"
You're sat next to Butcher on the deflated couch in the pawn shop basement, only the pair of you there. You're sat with your legs crossed facing him, gesturing with your words, while Butcher is sat with his legs spread wide, pinching the bridge of his nose, facing directly ahead at the TV. He sighs, turning his head to look at you.
"Fucccck no. You ain't havin' any, end of story. Give 'ers a bit of peace and quiet, will ya? Me 'ead is banging, yer yapping isn't helping."
"I'm not yapping, I'm trying to help..." You murmur, dejected. You turn to face away from Butcher, frustrated and feeling like he doesn't trust you. He watches as the dull light from the TV illuminates your face, trying so hard to look calm and collected. Butcher sees right through you. He knows you need his approval like air.
Butcher sighs again. He's a horrible, fucked up man. He's about thirty years your senior. Fuck it, he'll blame the V for how he's acting if anyone pulls him up on it. If anyone dares. He's the leader, he can do what he likes.
"Look, c'mere. Ya wanna help? Sit,"
"Sit...?" You meet his eyes, eyebrows furrowed. Butcher is unwavering, and he looks scary. His eye contact is intense, and you choose to look down at his chain and his sweater instead.
"Yeah. Sit. Didn't stutter, did I? C'mere," your gaze follows his hand (so large that it's practically a paw) as he pats his strong upper thigh. Your head and your heart race, and you stay still.
"Isn't that... um... inappropriate?" You've always seen him as a mentor, a leader, a father figure. Of course you've had some thoughts, but you've shoved them down deep enough to silence them. He's practically your dad - and old enough to be, too. This is wrong.
Like a dam breaking, all those thoughts suddenly surface. Flickers of Butcher's strong, veiny hands, his rough lips, his even rougher voice calling you a good girl. Fuck, this is bad.
"Surely is. Stop ya whinin' though and give me what I want, yeah?"
You shakily stand up, nodding. You always want to make him proud, and deep down you know you want this - whatever this is. It could be anything from a cuddle to a punch in the gut. Butcher is a live wire.
You settle yourself in his lap, hovering by putting most of your weight on your white-socked feet still planted on the ground. Up this close, Butcher is all you can smell. Heady, masculine, intense. Like testosterone, sweat, and leather. You know it should gross you out but it doesn't.
Butcher's large arm manhandling you so your back is to his chest makes you gasp. He's overpowering and rough, too strong for his own good, too arrogant and self-serving. His hand wraps around to suddenly grip your throat, feeling your pulse but not choking you. Just holding. Your heart jumps into your throat. He might actually just kill you right here.
"You're nervous. Scared I'm gonna hurt ya, sweetheart? Scared I'm gonna make ya cry?" Your eyes flutter closed, and you nod, terrified. He's whispering into your ear, a dark growl. You can feel his warm breath against your neck, smelling like cigarette smoke and mint. His other arm is around your waist, keeping you close to him. Making it so you can't get away.
"Not gonna hurt ya. You want this too," Butcher takes a deep inhale, nostils flaring and eyes fluttering shut. The V has given him an increased sense of smell, and with your legs slightly spread, he can smell exactly what you've been desperate to hide.
"Yeah, you want this too. Can smell ya dripping. This little cunt want daddy, yeah?" Butcher laughs cruelly when his words make your breath stutter and a new gush of wetness to soak your panties, intensifying the smell of pussy that is driving him mad. He takes another deep inhale, and you try to shut your legs, only for Butcher to force them back open with a heavy palm, slapping the soft jiggle of your thigh through your cargos. Mean.
"No, no. No, no, baby, nuh uh. Nope. Don't fuck me about. You're on my team, and you're mine. You want a daddy? I'll be your daddy," you shake your head no, and Butcher coos.
"No? Don't want a daddy?"
"Don' want any daddy, want you," you whisper. "'S always been you."
He groans and adjusts you in his lap so you're even closer to him, and his lips are on your neck by his fingers, just resting. You can feel him now, hard against your ass. Fuck, either he's carrying a gun in his pants, or he's huge.
"Thaaat's right. Always been me. Picked ya up off the street, ya own dad ain't know how to treat ya. I do though. Know what brats like you need," his hand on your throat tightens, cutting off the circulation to your head and making you go dizzy. His lips move up, his tongue softly licking that spot where your neck meets your jaw.
"Need an older man to look after you. Need a good stuffin' to stop you gettin' all gobby. You've been giving me such a headache, princess. Gonna fuck that mouth outta ya. Just gotta have you passed out for it, yeah?"
You struggle to breathe, panicking. Passed out? Why? Your eyes start to flutter closed and Butcher's voice starts to echo in your head, feeling both a million miles away and right inside the pulse of your clit at the same time.
"Stupid lil cunt for daddy. Ya won't be able to take me when you're awake, so I just gotta force it while you're out... sleep now, sweetheart. Shhh." he coos as your vision goes spotty, and you go limp in his lap. Once he's sure you're out cold, he lays you down on the couch, and gets to work using you just how he's always wanted.
He's a deeply fucked up man, but it's not his fault you make such a perfect daddy's girl.

Any chance youâll be updating The Best Kept Secret on the Grid anytime soon?? And if so can there maybe be some focus with Oscar and how well his rookie seasons going? (Podiums & sprint wins etc)??
The Best Kept Secret on the Grid || Part Five
MV, LN, OP x fem!reader Summary: Japan 2023 - the first time both McLarens were on the podium together Warnings: 18+ only, nsfw, smut, m x m, foursome, voyeurism, anal, mctwinks. WC: 2.6k F1 Masterlist || Part One || Part Two || Part Three || Part Four || Part Five || Part Six
The setting was more reserved than usual for an after party. It appeared everyone was still recovering from the massive hangover from Singapore a week ago. Despite not being on the podium for the first time in forever, the biggest upset of the season, Max had still been more than happy to celebrate the race results with you.Â
This week there had been an upset of a whole different kind. Max had been back in his rightful place but it was two McLarenâs that had stood alongside him to receive their trophies.Â
You licked your lips at the thought of sinking your teeth into the rookie again. Some people may have hated having the sprint races, but you had the pleasure of the added company on a Saturday night during those weeks.
âDo you think they fuck too?â
Max looked up from the ruby he was rolling around in his fingers and he dropped the large pendant back into your cleavage where he had hung it earlier. âWho?â
âThe papaya boys.â He followed your gaze to Lando and Oscar who were sitting close together. Landoâs hand covered his lips as he spoke to the rookie and whatever he said brought a blush to the Aussieâs cheeks and a nervous laugh.Â
Max chuckled and drew a hand up your thigh until it disappeared beneath the thin fabric you wore. âGuess weâll find out. Ready to go?â His fingers reached the juncture of your thighs as your legs parted for him and his smirk grew as he found nothing stopping him from touching your pussy.Â
âStupid question, M. Iâm always ready for you.â
Max rose to his feet and the movement instantly caught the attention of the two others who shared the podium with him hours earlier. Lando eagerly jumped to his feet but Oscar was more relaxed as he finished his drink in one go before following. Oscar was always calm and collected, even after his first podium finish in the sprint race before summer break. He was the polar opposite of Landoâs hyperactivity.
âThese walls are a little thin,â Max commented as he led the way to the penthouse suite in the hotel. He sent a smirk your way as he waved his key card in front of the door. âArenât they, baby?â
âWe may have received a noise complaint, or two,â you admitted as you took Lando and Oscarâs hand and pulled them inside with you. âBut Iâm sure between the three of you you can find some creative way to keep me quiet.â
Max closed the door and leaned against it as his keen eyes surveyed the dynamics between the three of you. He made no move to start undressing, in fact he rolled the sleeves of his dress shirt up to his elbows before crossing his arms. âHmm, someoneâs in the mood for watching us have fun,â you said with a wink his way.
His lips tipped up into a smirk that left your knees weak. âMake it good for me, baby.â
You moved first, grabbing Oscarâs collar as you pressed yourself against him and crushed your lips to his. His hands immediately found your ass, pulling you tighter to him as his tongue slipped into your mouth.
Not one to forget you werenât alone, you hooked your finger into the necklace Lando wore and guided him closer so you could give him the same greeting. You felt the smile on his lips and when he squeezed your ass you heard his quiet moan against your lips, âBunda.â
You giggled as you stepped back and decided to see how well the teammates really got along. âNow I want to see you two kiss.â
The way they moved together told you they were intimately familiar with each other and despite being the younger one, Oscar took control. You couldnât tear your eyes away from the pretty scene but you felt Maxâs fingers brush your spine as he dragged the zip of your dress down your back.
âI knew it,â you whispered to him as the material pooled at your feet leaving you naked between them. âI knew they fucked.â
Their attention was drawn away from each other and they turned their heated gaze to you, drinking in the skin that had been bared. âWe havenât shared anyone else before,â Oscar admitted with flushed cheeks.
âRelax, mate,â Max chuckled, tracing the curve of your spine with his fingertips until he reached your ass and gave it a short sharp spank. You knew without looking he would have smiled at the gasp you gave. âSheâll show you what to do.â
When he had his first podium in Belgium for the sprint race it had taken the rookie a while to grow comfortable. He was more than up for the night's activities, but was also just content to watch at first and see how Max and Pierre interacted with you. Once he found his place in the dynamic there was no holding back and he had kept you in the throes of ecstasy longer than anyone else. He was always ready to prove he was up for a challenge and tonight would be no different.
âHe knows exactly what to do, M,â you purred as you began to unbutton Oscarâs shirt. âI still have wet dreams from last time.â
Max took a seat in the leather single seater, a lazy smile playing on his lips as he watched you guide Lando to the large sofa. The back of the British man's knees hit the edge first and he fell down with a grin, his arms reaching to pull you down with him.Â
âI need you both to fuck me, right now,â you shamelessly begged as you straddled Landoâs thighs and sunk down on his cock with a moan. âYou donât know how long I have been waiting for you two to get on the podium together.â
Lips brushed your nape before Oscarâs breath warmed your neck and he sucked at your racing pulse. âYou think you can take us both, baby?â His strong fingers caught your throat as he craned your neck so he could kiss you harshly, a clash of teeth and lips as they parted for his tongue.
âJust fuck me already, Osc.â
âDonât forget to breathe,â he warned.
âFuck,â Max moaned as he unzipped his trousers and stroked himself at the sight before him.
Your head fell to Landoâs shoulder, mouth open in a silent cry. Your back arched and your unprepared body stretched with a delicious burn as Oscar inched himself inside your cunt, brushing his cock along Landoâs.
âBreathe,â Oscar reminded with a chuckle as he gripped your hips hard enough to leave bruises. âBreathe or I wonât move.â
You tried to roll your hips but his hold was too strong so you forced a shuddering breath in and out of your lungs. âGood girl.â
Your cunt clenched at the praise and a chorus of deep moans filled your ears as your pussy gripped them even tighter.
âOsc, please.â You buried your teeth in Landoâs shoulder as he begged for the both of you and you were rewarded with the slow, languid rocks of Oscarâs body behind yours. The hands on your hips pulled you to meet each thrust and your eyes fluttered shut at the growing warmth between your legs.
Spreading his legs wider, Lando braced his feet on the ground and began to slam up into you, adding to the already overwhelming sensation of them moving inside you. You were already well on your way to your first orgasm when Lando sealed his lips around your breast and flicked his tongue over your nipple. Fire erupted across your skin and your stomach tightened when you felt his teeth next, a cry of delight quickly being cut off by Oscarâs hand.
âShh,â he chuckled as he muffled the sounds of your pleasure. âDonât want another noise complaint, so keep quiet.â
He eased his hand away and you shared a smirk with Lando before you looked over your shoulder. âMake me.â
Oscar snapped his hips forward as he pushed your face into the crook of Landoâs neck. âTwo brats, huh.â
Suddenly you were empty as Oscar pulled out and tugged you to your feet, a whimper escaping at the loss of their cocks that had stretched you so good.
âOn your knees,â he purred in your ear, pushing down on your shoulder until you sunk into the carpet between Landoâs legs. âLetâs see if you can run your mouth when itâs full.â
Landoâs cock glistened with your juices and he watched as you eagerly wrapped your fist around his thick base and parted your lips for him. The moment you met his ice blue eyes you were reminded of Maxâs, the shade so close thanks to their Belgian heritage. The blue was almost swallowed by his pupils and that black hole grew when you teased him with your tongue.
You licked the bead of precum welling at his tip and as when you took him deeper your own taste coated your tongue in a delicious mix that had you humming. The soft vibrations had Lando screwing his eyes shut and his head fell back with your touch.
âDo you ever get jealous?â Oscar asked Max while he palmed your ass and lined himself up with your dripping folds. âWatching everyone fuck your girlfriend? Or whatever you guys are.â
Your eyes burned as Lando gripped the back of your head and bucked his hips, fucking your mouth.
âWhy would I be jealous?â Max chuckled, his hand gripping his dick tighter, squeezing out another drop of precum that he rolled his thumb through. âWe are all having a good time and enjoying ourselves. Does it matter how it happens?â
You pulled back and wiped your swollen lips as you looked up at Lando. âI donât think I have ever heard him talk so much.â
Your ass smarted with the smack Oscar landed on it and you bit your lip as you moaned loudly. âIs that the best you can do?â
Landoâs smirk grew as Oscar raised his hand. âSuch a brat.â
âLook whoâs talking.â Your eyes fluttered shut as Oscar brought his hand down harder on your ass and your body erupted. Waves of pleasure rocked through you and Oscarâs rhythm faltered as he felt your walls tighten around him.
Your cheek fell on Landoâs thigh as you lost the ability to hold your head up while Oscar still fucked you relentlessly, keeping your body in the rush of the high. Your panting tickled the dark hairs on Landoâs thigh and he squirmed as he stroked his length, running the wet tip of his cock over your lips with a smirk.
âDonât forget about me,â he teased.
Flicking your tongue out, he shuddered as it lapped at the sensitive underside but before you could wrap your lips around him again you were lifted to your shaking feet.Â
âHey, I was enjoying that,â you said with a pout to Oscar as he turned you in his arms and crushed his lips to yours, tongue dominating your mouth.Â
âDonât worry, we are far from finished,â he promised as Landoâs fingers dipped between your thighs to feel how wet you were. Teasingly slow, he withdrew those fingers and held them out for Oscar to taste. Your core throbbed at the sight of him cleaning your essence off Landoâs fingers with a deep hum and a small sound from your lips.Â
âYou liked watching us, didnât you?â Oscar teased with a secretive smile and he leaned closer so his lips brushed the shell of your ear. âDo you want to watch me fuck Lando?â
âYes, please,â you whined with need.Â
âBut I want to watch him fuck you,â Oscar mused, chewing his bottom lip as he debated the conundrum.Â
The throb in your core beat harder at his words and you curled a finger under his chin as you sent him a wink. âLike Max said, Iâll show you what to do.â
You stepped back and looked at Max to see his cheeks flushed pink as he watched you sink back down on Landoâs cock, only this time you were facing away from him. You reached between your legs and dug your nails into his thighs, tugging them open wide as Oscar took a deep breath.Â
âIsnât our little minx clever,â Max chuckled with a proud smile. He had the perfect view of you bouncing on Landoâs cock, your pussy stretched and glistening so prettily. His hand pumped up and down his hard length in time to the pace you set and Oscar knelt between Landoâs legs.
âFuck, yes,â Oscar exhaled as he stole your arousal to used it to prep Lando ready for him.
You nearly came at the vision of Oscar easing his dick into Lando and the sounds in the room grew louder with each inch until he couldnât go any deeper. Bracing your hands on Oscarâs shoulders, you used him to ride Lando, both of your eyes fixated on the way you all moved together, him in and out, and you up and down.
Max rose from the chair, kicking his trousers off before pulling his shirt over his head. You lost sight of him as he walked around the back of the couch but you heard him when he stopped behind you. âLando is a fucking mess.â
Oscar tore his eyes away to peek over your shoulder and a proud smile grew on his face. âOh, he is so fucked out right now.â
Unable to resist, you slowed down and looked over to see the utter bliss on his face. His eyes were half hooded, his jaw slack as he succumbed to the pleasure you were giving him, unintelligible sounds whispered with dry lips from his panting. Behind him Max was barely in a better state with the vein in his temple pronounced as he overstimulated himself. With one hand fisted his cock and the other combed through Landoâs damp hair, tugging the strands until his head fell further back into the cushion and his mouth opened wider.Â
âOh fuck,â you moaned when Landoâs tongue swirled around the tip of Maxâs cock. Your legs were quaking and a fine tremor traced your spine as another orgasm ripped through you hard enough to send colours dancing around your eyes. âFuck, I-I-oh...myâŠgod.âÂ
Oscar had watched your orgasm take hold and couldnât help licking the pad of his thumb before pressing it to your clit until you were just as fucked out as Lando. Overstimulated, your legs fell twitching either side of his and jolts of aftershocks pulsed down them. Within seconds Lando cried out around Maxâs cock as he came just as hard.Â
âOh, shit, so fucking tight,â Oscar panted as Landoâs orgasm tipped him over the edge and he buried himself as deep as possible before spilling in him.
Max was still trying to hold on, but when you laid back against Landoâs chest and your lips parted with heavy breaths he needed to reach the same high. Pulling out he pumped his fist twice more before grunting as thick ropes of cum splattered Landoâs lips.
âMhmm,â you hummed happily as you caught Landoâs chin and guided his face to yours. You shared the taste of Max with a messy kiss and his cock twitched where it was still buried inside you. âYou papaya boys need to get on the podium together more often.â
Oscar laughed as he fell back on his heels and wiped the sweat from his forehead. âHow does next weekend sound?â

â„Word count -15,575â„
(Ya'll broke me down. This is all four parts, no links, no tricks. Enjoy!)
One:
If itâs not the rooster who wakes me up, it will be one of the Golden Girls. Lately, Iâve been able to squeak in some extra sleep during the mornings, but today the Golden Girls arenât having it. Theyâre causing a fuss in the yard, and as I roll over towards my window I can see Sophia glaring inside at me.
âHold your horses, girls!â I fussed as I stepped out of bed. âIâm getting up!â
Theyâre making a racket out there, and I have to wonder if old lady Murphyâs mastiff has come sniffing around the fence again. He doesnât do anything, he just seems to have a crush on my girls. Which they donât take as kindly to.
By the time Iâm dressed and ready, the Golden Girls have calmed down. Their mooing has stopped, and the rooster has decided to make the alarm now.
âWhatâs up with all of you?â I called out, holding the feeding bucket. âYou were making such a fuss! I wouldnât be surprised if I got a noise complaint from town.â I was walking to the storage shed when I noticed a strange print in the mud. It wasnât one of the Golden Girls, and it certainly wasnât one of the chickens or sheep. It was large, massive really, and it reminded me of a scene from that old dinosaur movie.
âWhat on earth?â I muttered to myself. I was studying it closely when Rose started sniffing around my head and nudging the bucket with her foot.
âAlright, alright,â I huffed. âIâll get your breakfast.â The girls had all the hay and grass they could ask for, but that morning offering of grains was not to be delayed at any cost.Â
I was hefting scoops of it into their troughs when I heard the phone ringing from inside the house. I quickly finished off the feeding, tossing some along the ground for the chickens as I raced inside.
I was breathless when I grabbed the phone, so the caller got an earful of heavy breathing before I answered. âRiley Farms, weâre out of eggs,â I said.
âStella?â
I walked to the fridge to get myself a drink. âYes? Who is it?â
âThis is Alice Dunlop from the festival planning committee.â She sounded quite meek as she said this. Usually the festival committee members were a bit hoity toity.Â
âItâs about the chosen for this year's festival.â
âI plan to attend,â I huffed. âI told Mrs. Greenhill I already was fulfilling my role as chosen.â I took out the orange juice then went in search of a cup. I was excited to attend this yearâs festival. A few years ago, I would have skipped out too, but once I moved back home, it became a north star for me. Some people found being one of the chosen for the Festival of Ash to be too daunting or too frightening. The Paralangua were a site to behold, depending on how you looked at them of course. Living in Charcourt, you got your chance to spy them occasionally. They didnât come into town but maybe once or twice a year, and if you did see one it was probably one of the elders. But they were monstrous, pale, clay creatures, who I always found a fascination with.
âIs that why youâre calling? Did she forget to fill out the paper again?â Mrs. Greenhill loved her chardonnay.
âNo, she did.â Her voice quivered in a strange way. âThatâs the thing, Stella, youâre the only one who has confirmed.â
I hesitated reaching for a cup and stood still. âYou mean out of the five chosen for this year-â
âYouâre going solo,â Alice stated plainly and nervously.Â
Has this ever happened at the Festival of Ash before? One or two have certainly not shown up each year. But four?
âWeâre going to have a meeting with some of the elders. They want you to attend if that's possible at all. Just to discuss what could possibly end up happening at this yearâs ceremony.â
âThey still want to go through with it?â I gasped. âEven if Iâm the only one there? What would be the point?â
âThereâs still five of the parlangua attending.â Of course, they never missed a festival. But still, this didnât seem like the kind of ceremony worth having. Five on one!
Oh my god, five on one? Is that even possible?
âStella?â Alice said gently, pulling me from my thoughts.
I gasped. âOh, yes! I can attend.â
She sighed with relief. âGood. Thatâs good.â
That made me wonder if there was something going on behind the scenes. It would also explain the dinosaur sized footprint left in my yard. Someone was trying to sneak a peek.
âItâs going to be this evening, around six. Weâll be providing a meal for the inconvenience.â I heard papers shuffling and the sound of a door opening. âWeâll see you then.â
âIâll be there, thanks for letting me know.â I hung up the phone then stood there, running my tongue along the edge of my teeth.
Five on one, that certainly would be a big family. I sat back down at the table, continuing to think. Was it even possible to hold the traditional ceremony as it was this way? After all it was all a huge chase in the labyrinth below the town. A show of how mates are fated together despite the challenges the labyrinth put between them.
âMe and five parlangua,â I muttered. I started growing a bit warm under the collar. âMe and five,â I whispered again. Five big, strong, handsome paralangua. Their pale scales, their strong arms, their big hands. Oh my god, ten giant hands touching me.
The sound of the Golden Girls fussing again snapped me out of my thoughts. âStop thinking like one of those romance novels.â I finally got a glass and poured myself a drink. âYou have no idea what the council is going to talk about at this meeting. They may be canceling the ceremony. Who knows?â I drank, still fixated a touch on those ten hands.
âGet ahold of yourself, Stella,â I said loudly then chugged down my orange juice. âYou still have some work to do!â
I made a quick breakfast before going back out onto the farm. Ten hands, would be nice around to take care of things. The Broken Cart Grange had been in my family for generations, and now, it was only down to me. Lonesome, little old, me. After my parents died I rented the place out for a long time, until Troy came into my life.
Ugh, Troy.
I went around the chicken coops, checking for eggs, and once again, I saw one of the dinosaur sized footprints from before.
âI wonder if theyâre spying on me,â I muttered to the chickens around me. âThatâs usually part of the tradition you know.â
One of my chickens stares at me with a blank face then tilts her head.
âOh yes! Itâs not supposed to happen, but curious future mates will be curious future mates.â I looked out the window of the coop to the long road leading from the farm towards the main road into Charcourt. âI wonder if paralangua children come out as eggs,â I chuckled to myself as I found some eggs tucked away. I shuddered, and went on working.
That evening I drove to the council building. It was on the cusp of Charcourt and the paralangua territory, going down through the swampy area. The tall twisted trees covered any sort of sunlight, creating shadows and shapes along the path that tricked the eye and made the senses heighten.
I came upon the old bridge that crossed over the council building. It was over a tall embankment with a thick, speeding river underneath. It was told that the paralangua used this river to hide back in the old days and many lost souls could be found at the bottom.
âThey sure do have the atmosphere right,â I mumbled under my breath before driving over.
Iâm not sure when the council building had been built, but it was one of the newer structures compared to the Charcourt Castle where the Festival of Ash ceremony ended. I was coming upon the door when a laugh stopped me dead in my tracks.
âWell, arenât you a tall sight for short eyes,â a parlangua came out from around the corner. This was my first time seeing one so close. Iâd caught some in the distance before and at the festivals, but this one was so close I could touch them.
I then registered what he had said. âWhat?â
He cleared his throat. âI said, tall sight for-â he stopped, seeming to take in what he said as well. âI was remarking at how nice and tall you-â He stopped again and cleared his throat. âLet me get to the door for you.â He opened the door for me and I walked in with him close behind.
âAre you here for the meeting?â He asked.
I nodded, still taking him in. He was tall, powerful, I mean, all paralangua are. Thatâs nothing new. He had remarkable hind quarters, and thick strong legs, along with a pooch to his belly.Â
âIâm uhâŠI guess the solo act for the ceremony this year.â I laughed, but the paralangua went stiff and his eyes widened. His tail flicked out and with a slight turn of his head he gazed down at me, a sudden nervousness to his stance.
I licked my lips out of nerves. âWh-which way is the meeting.â
âSo youâre Stella.â He rubbed at his neck.Â
âAh, so youâve heard of me then?â I tried to joke around, but really I was on pins and needles. I swallowed and shrugged. âI guess theyâre going to try and move up a set of chosen. Thatâs my guess anyways. Itâs fine if I have to skip.â
The paralangua still seemed nervous. âI donât think thatâs whatâs happening,â he murmured.â My name is Priapus, by the way.â He held out his hand. âMy friends call me Reap.â
That big hand enveloped mine, the scales were smooth and cool. They almost felt silky on the palm, a little more textured on the backside. I liked it. Ten of them! âNice to meet you.â I said, shaking out my ridiculous thoughts.
He seemed anxious for a second. âI am one of the five paralangua for the ceremony.â
This big boy? I thought out of shock. This slab of big, hulking, white scales was one of the fellow members of the ceremony? A chosen like me?
âOh,â was all I could manage to squeak out.
Reap pressed his mouth together in a firm line. âNot exactly the way we are supposed to meet, I know.â
âYeah, well, strange circumstances all around.â You motioned down the hall. âIs this the way towards the meeting?â
âYeah, I think so.â Reap walked with me down the hallway, keeping a couple of steps behind me. âA bit strange isnât it?â
I glanced over my shoulder at him. âWhich part?â
He chuckled. âI guess everything. I donât think thereâs been a no show like this since one of the first ceremonies. At least, thatâs what Iâve been told. One of the other chosen paralangua called us a cursed group,â he forced a laugh. âI donât know. Maybe we are. Maybe we arenât.â
I held back so me and Reap walked side by side. âMaybe Iâm just lucky!â
âHuh?â
I shook my head and looked at an open door. A girl around my age stepped out then waved us both in. âGood, you made it!â She waved me into the room then gave Reap a strange, almost scolding look before scurrying in and motioning to a table loaded with food. âGo ahead and make yourself a plate. Iâm Alice, and apparently Iâll be handling this meeting,â she said with a chip on her shoulder.
âAre the council not coming?â Reap asked.
Alice held up a recording device and laid it down onto the table. âHereâs your council.â She sighed and shook her head. âThey say thereâs other festival work that needs their attention as well. But Iâd say theyâre just-â She shook her head and stopped herself from saying something sheâd regret. âJust waiting on the others so I can read out the email I was sent.â
âItâs just an email?â Reap said in disbelief. He scoffed and slapped his arms against his sides. âI thought this was important?â
âOh, but it is,â Alice said sarcastically. She then sighed and shrugged. âIt is what it is. Weâre lucky theyâre taking their time, rather than springing it on everyone the night of the ceremony.â
I was surprised. I thought the council was this well oiled and highly traditional machine that was perfectly ready for any circumstance. But this sounded like a bunch of teenagers running a club!
Alice gave me a knowing smile. âNot to worry. Iâm taking care of this. Not going to scare you with five giant men in one night.â We both looked at each other for a moment, both of us drawing lines from what she said. âThis is my first big project, Iâm a bit nervous,â she murmured.
I smiled. âItâs okay.â
Reap was poking at food on the table, eating small bites and chewing them slowly. He seemed distant, lost in thought. I hope he wasnât disappointed with what was being offered. Not the food, but me, I mean.
A few minutes later two more paralangua enter the room, one is very tall with a lithe frame, the other is a tad shorter and stockier.Â
âSolomon, Venus,â Alice greeted them. âWhy donât you both go ahead and get something to eat.â
âWhere are the robes?â The stockier one asked.
Alice chuckled. âIâm the only council member tonight, Venus.â
Venus scoffed, his lip curling up over his sharp teeth. âFigures. Iâll bet you anything those idiots are off pre-gaming.â
âNow, now, Venus,â the lithe paralangua said. His eyes rose up, looking at me in a way that could have melted me into a giggling puddle. âWe have a guest here. Remember your manners.â
âI ainât a kid!â Venus huffed and stormed over to the food.
The lithe paralngua came over towards me. I canât describe just how elegantly he moved, how beautiful he was. There was an elegance to his face, a sharp masculinity that was as fine as porcelain.Â
âYou must be Stella,â he said gently. âItâs very nice to meet you. My name is Solomon.â
My mouth had gotten very dry, and it was hard to swallow the cornbread in my mouth. I covered my lips with a napkin and nodded. âSorry, was eating.â
Solomon had a soft smile upon his face. âMy bad.â He looked around the room. âShame we had to meet this way. The labyrinth is so much moreâŠatmospheric.â
I had a feeling he had another word in mind, but toned it down due to the situation. I wiped my mouth once the food was swallowed. âIt could be worse.â
He nodded, a serious glint in his eye. âThat could be said for anything.â
Alice was checking her watch and she got a scowl on her face. âDo any of you know where Chandra and Eros are?âÂ
âAfraid not,â Reap answered.
Solomon just shook his head.
Venus was chewing, but he spoke up anyway. âSomewhere jacking off.â
âVenus!â Alice snapped and stormed over towards the door to look out.
I noticed Venus was giving me looks, strange glances that last a second too long so I would catch him each time.
âDonât mind Venus. He doesnât like letting his nerves show,â Solomon replied. âI would say he and Reap are the shyest of the lot.â He then glanced towards the door. âThe other two who have yet to arrive are far from.â
âWhat are you?â I asked.
Solomon smirked. âI prefer to be quiet.â
I smiled back at him, the unease that had been bothering me since this morning was slowly melting away. Somehow, putting faces to these ten hands was helping.
âSo, what do you do?â Venus spoke up, causing me to jerk in his direction. Reap was standing behind him, a worried expression on his face.
âI have a farm,â I answered simply.
Venus had a piece of food in each hand. Despite his cranky expression, he did look very cute. âWhat kind?â
âRight now itâs just me, so I have just a few animals.â
Venus took a few steps towards me. âLike chickens?â
I wasn't sure what his tone was. He sounded both tense and curious. âChickens, a few sheep, two goats, four cows I call the Golden Girls.â
Venusâ eyes lit up. âI love that show.â
I was about to offer to show him pictures when Alice came back in, two more paralangua dragged behind her. One was wearing a pearl necklace around his thick neck, the other was yawning and had painted nails. Or well, claws I guess.
âI was trying to wake him up,â the necklace wearing one said.
âI told you no one would be here?â The yawning one continued to yawn. He blinked his eyes, revealing them to be a bright pink.
Alice had a look upon her face. âIt doesnât matter. I still have some things to go over with all of you, Chandra.â
Chandra smirked, his pink eyes lighting up as Alice fussed at him. He reached for the table, picking up the recorder. âCould this meeting have been an email?â
âIt is an email,â Reap replied.Â
Chandra smirked, but the other yanked the recorder from his hand. âJust because the council does it doesnât mean you have to.â
âCareful there, Eros!â Chandra snapped. He then looked across the table at me and his pink eyes lit up. âWell, hello there.â He licked his teeth in a seductive way. âIs this our wifey?â
âEw, donât say wifey,â Eros scoffed. âHer name is Stella. A star,â his voice became dreamy. âAnd she deserves to be treated as such.â
I have so many feelings right now, Iâm pretty sure Iâm just blank.Â
âEveryone, sit down!â Alice snapped.
Chandra hissed through his teeth. âI bet you're fun. Too bad youâre not part of-â
Alice shook her head at him and Chandra shut his mouth, âGood, now that weâre all here, we can start this.â She moved towards the table, taking a head seat at the table and laying out a folder.
The room quieted more than it already had, and the paralangua were taking seats around the table. There was definitely a tension in the air that floated about the whole room. Despite the situation most of the tension seemed to be resting with poor Alice at the head. Left to do the dirty work of her superiors she was a lot more composed than I would be given the situation.
âAlright, so I am sure weâre all aware of the situation,â Alice spoke up. She was trying to sound in control, but there was a slight warble to her voice. âThe other chosen havenât returned home to Charcourt, leaving only one of the five to take the ceremony. Which is an unfortunate occurrence. The council, in their infinite wisdom,â she said with a roll of her eyes, âhave left me a message which will hopefully clear things up.â
Pink-eyed Chandra raised his hand and Alice scoffed. âYes, what is it?â
Chandra lowered his hand and leaned forward. âI donât agree with the council.â
âShe hasnât said what the council has decided.â Solomon replied with a cool even tone. âHow can you disagree already?â
âBecause the council is full of out of touch misers,â Chandra waved his hand in the air. âI donât doubt for a second theyâre going to hurt her feelings.â
Eros perked up. âWhose feelings?â
âHers.â Chandra pointed at me. âWhy punish the good one of the bunch because the other four didnât want to shirk up to their responsibilities?â
I was once again the center of attention and I wasnât sure I liked that yet. âWell let's see what the council does say before we start jumping off cliffs.â I swallowed down the lump in my throat. âNo reason to get angry just yet.â
âI heard rumors they were allowing volunteers to join up,â Venus grunted.
Reap jerked and looked frightened at the idea. âVolunteers?âÂ
âStop it now,â Alice called out. âWhy are you rumor mongering when I am trying to give you the truth?â She huffed and snapped the paper out before her. âIf you all donât mind.â Her eyes glanced down. âAs a reward for her loyalty to Charcourt and the traditions of the Festival of Ash, Ms. Stella Riley will be allowed to keep all five of the intended paralangua grooms, or choose the ones she feels are deserving. Despite the lack of chosen and spectacle for the ceremony, it will continue as planned. The labyrinth will be opened, but by all means, the end results will be decided by Ms. Stella Riley, rather than the usual chase the labyrinth provides.â Alice looked up from the printed email and I was for sure the center of attention now and forever.
I sat still, afraid to look at anyone in the room.
âDoes that suffice?â Alice asked.
There was quiet, and with the quiet there was more tension and unease. A few beads of sweat were gathering at the nape of my neck and I knew I needed to say something, but I couldnât think of anything at all except those ten damn hands again.
Solomon turned to me, placing his hand upon my arm in a gentle fashion. âWhat do you think, Stella? Are you okay with this?â
âI suppose.â I murmured and slowly looked around the room. âIâm just one person though. Iâm not sure if I can handle-â I saw their eyes, all of them looking at me. There was an intensity, although not one of malice or even unease. Dare I even think they were aroused by the prospect?
Ten hands. Ten hands!
âIâd say youâre in a very lucky spot,â Chandra spoke up. âFive grooms, ten hands, what an easy life youâll have from here on out.â
He said it, I thought to myself.
âBut is it fair to the rest of us to have to share?â Venus snapped. He didnât sound angry like he had before, instead he sounded concerned painted as irritation. âItâs easy to pick a favorite. Why should she be any different. Are we supposed to make a chore wheel of who gets time with her?â
âAs if all the chosens of the past havenât lived in polyamorous pods,â Eros replied with a sultry tone. âItâs not uncommon, hell, itâs practically the natural order of things. I remember my family growing up and how they all lived together as a unit.â He glanced across at Venus with a smirk. âLike we havenât already-â
âHush,â Venus hissed. âMy point remains. That was a whole group of chosen. This is a singular chosen.â
âShe seems capable,â Chandra replied. He then glanced to Reap who had been quiet this whole time. âDoesnât she, Reap?â
Reap looked up nervously. âItâs her decision on who to keep. I say we leave it up to her and the ceremony.â
âBut how does she do that?â Solomon asked. âIf the usual labyrinth method isnât to be the norm this year, then maybe we should figure out what to do instead.â
âI donât think Iâd have the heart to pick and choose like that,â I murmured. âYou all seem very nice. At least from first impressions.â
There was quiet again and I was trying to find my voice to speak up. âI-â I took a breath to calm myself. âIâve always wanted a big family. I used to but everyone is either gone or passed. Itâs just me in that giant farmhouse ever since I moved back. And all Iâve ever wanted was a family, Iâve always wanted lots of kids.â
âFive grooms gives you a good chance,â Eros teased.
I smiled shyly. âI donât mind the five of you, but if there is one of you who feels it isnât what you wanted, I understand that as well.â
âThe farm is lovely,â Reap replied, unintentionally giving away the fact he was the one who left the prints in the mud.
âItâs untraditional, thatâs for certain,â Solomon replied. âBut I think itâs the best option for all of us.â
Reap tentatively leaned forward. âMaybe we should give her a chance to get to know us. You know. Visit her a little before the ceremony.â
âThatâs against the rules,â Venus snipped.
âEveryone does it every year though,â Chandra scoffed. âI think theyâd over look it for us if they do it every year.â
âI believe they would, yes,â Alice interjected.Â
Reap turned to look at me, his gaze gentle and his smile slightly returned. âWould you be alright with that, Stella?â
A tingle went down my spine and I took a deep breath. âSure, just be aware of my animals. Thatâs all I ask.â
Alice sighed in relief. âWell, if that settles that, then thatâs the end of the meeting.â She crumpled up the printed out email and tossed it towards the nearest trash can. âI will see you all again at the ceremony. Stella, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. You can call at any time.â She gathered her things and left, leaving me and my five grooms alone in the conference room.
âWell, that was interesting.â Solomon stood up from the table. He looked back at the food spread out on the table behind us. âDo you think she remembered this is here?â
âWe can finish it off, canât we Venus?â Chandra jabbed.
Venus just glared at him.
âMaybe now would be a good time to set up a schedule between us and Stella before the ceremony. We should have enough time for each of us,â Reap spoke up.
âSchedules arenât romantic,â Eros sighed.Â
âWhat, and just show up randomly to her place? She works, you know?â Venus snipped at him.
âI donât mind, really. Iâm usually alone on the farm anyways,â I murmured. All eyes were on me again. âI donât mind visits.â
There was a hush between the five of them.
âYouâve got enough to deal with,â Solomon said sternly, mainly for the rest of them. âWe can work out a schedule between us, all you have to do is be your charming self.â
I smiled shyly. âI can do that.â I wasnât sure what to expect from all this, and although I was excited by the prospect, I was trying to keep my expectations low. I had five chances, I wasnât going to waste a single one of them. Lithe stoic Solomon. Flirty, ethereal Chandra. Shy and sweet Priapus, aka Reap. Venus, who was hot headed but vulnerable. And lastly, lovely and romantic Eros. I didnât really have to decide, they were all mine for taking if I wanted. That was nerve wracking alone, but I was deeply excited.Â
Two:
I noticed looks at the store while I was getting some supplies. Usually, the farming supply store was one of those places people paid no mind. Everyone was busy with their own lives, business, and animals. But today I could tell people were paying that mind. I suppose word had gotten out that Stella Riley was the only chosen this year. I quickly checked out, never one to enjoy that sort of limelight upon me. Why I was one of the chosen, Iâll never quite understand.
Once I got home I simply sat in the truck. My hands slipped from the steering wheel and I leaned back against the old seat and let out a heavy sigh.
âOh boy.â I opened my eyes, staring up at the duct tape that patched up the ceiling. âWhat am I doing?â I patted my cheeks. âEveryone knows. What was I thinking?â I yelled out loud. I grabbed hold of the steering wheel again, thinking I should drive back to the headquarters and ask someone, anyone, if I was losing my mind agreeing to this nonsense.
Instead, I got out of the truck and went to the back. âYou got greedy. What would Grandma say?â I grumbled under my breath. âStella Riley, you canât put both hands in the cookie jar!â I said mimicking her. I pulled down the tailgate and started to yank out the chicken feed.Â
âLet me help you with that.âÂ
Every hair on my body bristled with anticipation. I looked up, seeing Solomon approaching from the barn. He must have been waiting.
Oh God! My first meeting, or well, my first one on one session with them. I stood erect as he approached, unsure exactly what to say. Did he hear me yell in the truck? Oh God! What am I supposed to do? Wait, he asked me a question. Say something, Stella! Say anything!
âIâve got it, itâs okay.â I had a nervous lilt to my voice. âIâm used to it.â
Solomon came up, taking the bag of feed from me. âIâm sure you are. But whatâs the harm in accepting a little help?â
I smiled, fidgeting for a second. âI keep it over here.â I motioned towards the barn, leading him towards the backdoors. Already the Golden Girls were gathering at the entrance to watch. They were entranced by Solomon, which I donât blame them. He was tall and lithe compared to other paralangua, which gave him an almost ethereal appearance.Â
âThere we are,â he murmured as he set the bag down.
âThank you.â I tried to smooth down my hair. I hadnât been expecting one of them so soon. I figured I had at least until this evening. I was wearing my old overalls and boots, I didnât look quite the part of a girl expecting a suitor.
Solomon was luckily looking around the barn. âItâs nice here.â
âFamily heirloom, I suppose.â I chuckled and my anxiety was apparent in my voice cracking. âUhm-so youâre my first.â
Solomon looked back at me, a slight smile came to his face. âI was quite lucky to win that draw.â
âA draw?â I asked, leading him back towards the house.
âWell, more like several games of rock, paper, scissors,â he shrugged. âIt was the only way we could convince Venus it was fair.â He smiled and shook his head. âWe were going to do it alphabetically, but Venus argued that put him at the end.â
I smiled. âI could tell he was nervous at the meeting though.â
Solomon sighed. âHe does like to put on his bravado. Heâs younger and smaller, so he feels like he needs toâŠact in order to be seen. When really, I think Venus just needs to be himself to get noticed. Then again, Iâm the oldest, and I know âbe yourselfâ is the oldest advice in the book.â
âI remember my Grandpa giving me that advice when I was a kid,â I murmured. I could even picture him sitting at the kitchen table, leaning forward to me as I cried into the glass bottle coke he bought me at the general store. âI hated it. So, I can see where Venusâ mind could possibly be.â
Solomon nodded. âYouth and age have their pros and cons.â
I chuckled, matching Solomonâs wise smile. I opened the door and we walked into the kitchen. âWould you like anything?â I asked. âTea? Coffee?â
Solomonâs eyes went around the room, there was a softness to his gaze. His large hand came down on the back of a chair at the table. âThis really is a picturesque place,â he murmured. âLook at all the old tins.â He motioned towards the little shelf that ran all the way around the edge of the cabinets and kitchen itself.Â
My eyes went around the room and brought a nostalgic smile to my face. âMy grandmother collected them.â
âGenerations of things,â he murmured. Solomon then looked back at me and his smile brightened. âI love that.â
My cheeks burned and I quickly turned away. âI also have some sparkling water in the fridge.â
Solomon grunted as he sat down at the table. His tail curled up under the chair then hung over one of the rungs. âI wouldnât mind a cup of tea if itâs not too much trouble. Or does that make me sound too old?â He laughed.
âNot at all!â I reached for the kettle on the stove and took it over to the sink. I was filling it with water when Solomon came and stood beside me, looking out the large picture window over the sink. âI enjoy tea more and more these days to relax. Coffee to work. Tea to relax.â
âTea can have just as much caffeine as coffee you know?â He teased.
âHerbal,â I corrected. âI love a good peppermint.â
Solomon nodded. âI am partial to a sleepy time.â He leaned against the table, watching me as I moved about the kitchen. His gaze made me more aware of my body and movements. It was slightly nerve wracking, but also made me want to impress him.
âYouâre quite brave to take on all of us,â he murmured suddenly. âI was instantly impressed with you.â
Holy shit did he read my mind? Did he know what I was trying to do while I gracefully turned on the stove and set the kettle upon the eye?
âI wouldnât say brave. I actually feel a bit selfish.â I glanced up at him, taking in his handsome profile and gleaming eyes. My heart pounded. âIâm not even sure you all are interested.â I turned off the water and moved the kettle to the stove.
âWhatâs not to be interested in?â Solomon asked, his quiet and serious tone mixed with that deep, raspy voice of his made me shiver.Â
I fidgeted with the stove for a second in order to avoid looking at him again. If I did after that I just might melt.
âYour boldness at the meeting impressed most of us. I think Reap and I were both charmed right away.â
I looked back at him finally. âThank you,â was all I could muster.
His smile grew and there was a softness to his gaze. âWhat? Are you not used to such compliments?â
I shook my head. âTo be honest Iâm more used to the opposite.â
Solomon frowned, looking concerned. âWho from?â
I shook my head. âOh no, I mean, not recently. Itâs been years since-â My voice clogged itself in my throat and my mouth hung open for a second. I swallowed and shrugged. âIt was a past relationship.â
Solomon huffed, shaking his head. âSuch a shame, Stella. Men are idiots. Cruel idiots. Iâm so sorry.â
âYou arenât my ex. You donât need to apologize for anything.â I smiled shyly. âYou say that about your own kind?â
âNot exactly my kind,â he sighed. âUs paralangua are raised better as young ones. I know hurt like that is hard to forget, but I do find you beautiful if that means anything.â
I must have been strawberry red because I saw his gaze turn to concern. âIt means something.â My voice squeaked. I cleared my throat and met his eyes, chuckling softly. âThank you so much.â
Solomon touched my hand just as the teapot began to whistle.
We had a lovely conversation over tea; he talked about his life beyond the river in Charcourt, he was raised by his father alone, and he, too, longed for a bigger family. I was always easily attracted to a deep voice and large hands (it got me in trouble once before), but I felt a chemistry with Solomon that felt so real.
âYou probably have work to do. I shouldnât have kept you so long.â Solomon murmured.
That cut through me as I had so been enjoying our conversation. âOh uh-â I looked at the clock and couldn't argue that I needed to tend to things on the farm. âYes well-â I didnât really want to say goodbye.
Solomon took his cup to the sink. âI did enjoy getting to know you, Stella.â
I nodded. âMe too. I mean! I mean you too. I mean-â
Solomon chuckled and he leaned down, placing a kiss on my cheek. My heart could have stopped. Iâd never been kissed on the cheek by a guy like that.
âVenus is next. Not sure when they'll want to come by, but do expect them.â Solomon gave me a wink.
I smiled back at him. âIs there anything they like I could have around for them?â
âSweets,â he replied. âVenus likes sweets.â
âI do like to bake.â I said, walking him to the door.
At the door, Solomon looked at me and there was a crackle in the air. âI know we just met, but would you mind if I kissed you? In earnest?â
I just nodded, unable to say anything as I tried to contain myself. Solomon dipped his head, placing a kiss upon my lips. I shivered as his hand touched my cheek. Imagine that four more times, I thought to myself.
âKissing? Already?â
Solomon pulled back as Venus walked up to the door. Venus had a slight scowl upon their face and their tail swished back and forth behind them.
âWhat are you doing here?â Solomon chuckled. âEager to get things started.â
Venus bristled, or at least, every fiber of them stiffened. âYouâre taking your time, I see! We had an agreement.â
âI know. I know.â Solomon stepped away from the door. âIâll see you later, Stella. For now, I leave you with Venus.âÂ
âUntil later,â I said. I then looked back at Venus. âI actually have some chores to do if you donât mind waiting.â
Venus eyes darted towards the barn, seeing the fenced in area where the cows were gathering, waiting for their next meal. âYou said they were the Golden Girls?â
I nodded. âWould you like to help me?â
Venus was still pouting but he followed me towards the barn. The Golden Girls gathered at the entrance, mooing and shoving each other to get to the front.
âThe red one is Blanche,â I started. âThe black and white one is Sophia. Rose is the brown and white one, and the black one is Dorothy.â
Venus approached them gingerly, holding out his hand which Rose sniffed at. He went and pet her, the other girls complained they werenât getting the same attention.
âDo you like animals?â I asked as I filled up the trough.
Venus pulled his hand back. âI have a cat.â
âAww, whatâs their name?â I smiled at Venus who looked away shyly, but maintained a tough appearance.
âBea.â
I smirked. âI used to listen to the Mame soundtrack with my grandmother all the time. Bea Arthur has such a great voice.â
Venusâs eyes followed me as I refilled the bucket with chicken feed. âMy cat has a weird raspy voice, thatâs why I named her Bea.â
âThatâs so cute.â I led Venus out into the farmyard, tossing out the chicken feed and the chickens came running.
âYouâre really the only one who works this?â Venus asked.
âIâm the only Riley in Charcourt left,â I replied, hugging the bucket to my chest. âAnd obviously Iâm single.â
Venus scoffed. âSo you want the five of us just for hired help?â
I gave him a look. âNo. I mean, help is nice, but-â
âBut what?â
I was quiet for a moment. âI donât know. I just like the idea of the affection that comes with it.â
His gaze softened and I swear the white scales around his eyes turned pink. âYou just want to be pampered by five guys?â
I chuckled. âMaybe? Doesnât anybody want to be a little pampered?â I walked back towards the barn to get more feed for the sheep. âI was thinking about making cookies when I was done here. What kind do you like?â
Venusâ eyes got wide and he cleared his throat. âTrying to grease me up with baking?â
âMaybe a little,â I said with a giggle. âIf Iâm being honest.â
Venus glanced at me then away. âWhat kinds can you make?â
I thought for a moment. âWell, I think I can do chocolate chip, sugar cookies, Iâve got lots of cinnamon too.â
Venus sniffed, watching as the Golden Girls came closer to him. âChocolate chip is good.â
âAlright then. Iâll have to go check the coop for eggs.â
Venus turned towards me. âWhat?â
âWell what do you think I have the chickens for? I sell the eggs, I also sell the milk from the girls and the goats.â
Venus seemed stunned by this. âI guess that makes sense,â he muttered. âBut you just use them like that? Fresh from their-â
âThatâs how eggs happen.â I walked towards the coop. âWant to see?â
Venus shook their head. âNot really. Can I just go inside?â They pointed back to the house.
âSure, go ahead.â I gathered up the eggs I could find in the coop then went back inside. Venus was looking around my kitchen as well, especially the magnets on the fridge. I set the basket of eggs down and they looked at the basket with some repulsion.Â
âThey come out gross, yes. They stay fresher if you donât wash them.â
Their mouth gaped as I said this.
I just smirked at him. âIf it makes you feel better, Iâll wash the ones I use for the cookies. Is that alright?â
They nodded, returning to their usual grumpy pout.
I gathered up ingredients to make the cookies and preheated the oven. âVenus is an interesting name,â I replied. It was really the only conversation starter I could think of. It had been quiet this whole time.
âYou think?â Venus huffed. âMy mom liked that show Sailor Moon, she didnât seem to care that Venus meant girl.â
It was an awfully cute explanation but I wouldnât have dared repeated that to him. âSo she named you after her favorite character, thatâs sweet.â
Venus frowned. âI went by Vee until I was fifteen,â he grumbled. âThen when my mom got sick, I started letting her call me Venus again.â
I stopped measuring out flour and gave Venus a sympathetic look.
âI lived with Reapâs family for a time,â they muttered. âHis brother, Lerour, had just gone through the ceremony so there was room for me.â They sniffled then turned their head away so I couldnât see.
âIâm so sorry, Venus.â I reached out and touched his arm, which he tilted his head to look at. âMy mom died when I was little too.â
Venus looked back at me, his eyes were watery and pink around the rim. âYeah well. Guess we have something in common. Not that being sad is any sort of connection.â
I chuckled and rubbed his arm gently. âI would say grief is a pretty good common ground to start from.â I measured out more of the dry ingredients and Venus came closer to my side. They were a touch shorter than me, but they had nice strong arms and thick thighs. Plus, they felt nice next to me, a little warm with a comforting air.
âSo, you lived with Reap?â I asked.Â
âYeah,â he muttered. âHeâs pretty shy, just warning you.â
âGood to know.â I started mixing the dry ingredients together. âIs he next?â
Venus shook his head and got a look of annoyance upon their face. âUnfortunately for you, Chandra is next.â
âWhy unfortunately?â I laughed.
âYou didnât get enough of him at the meeting the other night? Heâs obnoxious, not to mention a bit of a-â They stopped and hesitated saying the next word. âJust donât fall for his ploys.âÂ
âPloys? What ploys?â
Venus gave me a warning look, one that turned their eyes into a darker shade of gray. He held up a finger and leaned in close. âSolomon can ask for a kiss and be a gentleman. Chandra is no gentleman, he is a flirt and enjoys a challenge.â
âHeâs easy?â I giggled.
âA little.â Venus looked back at the cookie mix. âJust be careful. Not saying you wonât be, you seem to have a level head on you.â
âThanks, I appreciate that.â I continued making the cookies with Venus. When the cookies were fresh from the oven, Venus had quite a few. They took the rest home and I promised we could bake together again sometime soon.
I could tell from his expression he wanted to ask for a kiss as well, but wasnât going to do it anytime soon. âHave a good evening, Venus.â I kissed his cheek and those eyes lit up into pure silver. He didnât say anything just looked at me and nodded before leaving.
âPretty cute,â I said to myself after he left. âSolomon and Venus in one day,â I murmured. I could still remember Solomonâs kiss, and the connection I made with Venus was just as sweet.Â
âTwo down, three to go,â I murmured and went back inside to finish cleaning up.Â
Three:
It had been a day or so since I had seen Solomon and Venus, so I was expecting Chandra at any moment. Considering what I had gleaned from him at the meetings, and even Venusâ warnings, it was obvious he was going to be a handful. But so far, I had been enjoying these meetings, so I wasnât going to worry about it for too long.
Every so often I like to take my goats down to the river that runs behind the farm. They get to play, splash around, and I swear the water makes their milk taste so much better. I also like to go down there and look for pretty rocks or plants I can add to my collection.
The four goats were playing in the river, eating grass from the shore and splashing around. The youngest, Gilda, was bouncing around and having the time of her life. I was wading at the edge of the river, looking at stones that crossed my path. I then heard the goats exclaim and come running towards me, splashing and kicking up water all over the back of my legs.
Expecting a snake or something, I turned quickly, ushering the goats to the bank. Then I caught a flash of white in the corner of my eye. There stood Chandra, rising up out of the water with a great smirk upon his face.
âDidnât mean to startle,â he chuckled. He smoothed his hand down his chest, wiping away excess water. âI just smelled something delicious in the air and came towards it.â
The goats on the bank yelled and made a fuss as Chandra came closer to me.
âNot funny,â I huffed, smoothing my hair back away from my face.
Chandra approached, taking my hand and kissing the back of it. âMy apologies to you and the ladies.â
âOne's a male, but thank you.â His pink eyes were captivating, they looked like glass marbles that shined brighter than any diamond.
âMy apologies again for the misgendering,â Chandra said with a chuckle. He then leaned against one of the trees that hung over the river. âSo, what brings a lily of the valley like you to a place like this?â
I motioned back to the goats. âI like bringing them down here sometimes. Wasnât expecting you to come out of the river though.â
âI enjoy making an entrance. What can I say?â he looked me over, drinking me in and growing a smile that made me think of the cat who ate the canary.
I smirked. âWhat are you doing?â
âWhat? Just looking. Iâm not going to do anything, I donât know what Venus said to sully my name, but I swear, Iâm not like that.â He winked playfully.
I eyed him up and down. âWhat do you think Venus said?â
âWell, knowing him, nothing too fond.â He stepped aside from the tree and sat down upon the bank, stretching out his legs and tail upon the grass. âHe and I have never quite seen eye to eye.â
I took the spot beside him, raising up my knees to my chest. âAnd why do you think that is?â
âI think he envies my confidence,â he said with a laugh. âMaybe my height.â
âVenus told me not to fall for your ploys.â I glanced up at him to garner his reaction, which there was none. Chandra simply smiled. âWhat would those ploys be?â
Chandraâs tail curled, wrapping around my sides then brushing up against my thigh. âWell, let me think. I have no idea what he is talking about.â he said teasingly. Meanwhile, his tail tightened and pulled me in close to his side. Chandra put his arm around me and continued to feign contemplation.
I looked at his arm and let out a small laugh. âWhat are you doing?â
âHm?â He looked down. âOh my goodness. When did you do this?â He pulled his arm back. âWeâve only just met. Unless youâreâŠinto that.â He winked again.
I rolled my eyes and scooted back. âYouâre something of a flirt.â
âDonât you worry. Once the ceremony happens I will become the most devoted out of all my brother husbands.â he laid his hand dramatically against his chest. âI call them oats to sow. But Iâm sure there are names for me out there.â
âVenus was hinting. But I donât blame oats for being oats.â
Chandra smiled. âHave you sowed a bit in your time?â
I shrugged. âI wouldnât call it sowing. Maybe if I was doing it on gravel.â I made a face and shook my head. âI planted my oats in the wrong ground.â
He got a look upon his face, one of concern. âMind if I ask what was so wrong about this ground?â
I looked at him and then away a few times before I got the nerve to say anything. âLet's just say it was toxic earth.â
Chandra nodded his head, clicking his tongue in understanding. âIâm happy to see you here, away from that.â
I sighed heavily. âMe too.â
Chandra leaned back against his palms and gazed up towards the sky. âNow you have five strikingly rich, fertile soils to plant your oats.â
I grimaced. âCan we stop this analogy?â
âI hated the words as soon as I said them.â Chandra watched me as I stood up. His eyes followed me, seeing my look of distress and I gazed at the goats behind us. âSomething the matter?â
âGildaâs gone.â I whipped around, looking all over for the little goat. âOne of my goats is missing.â
âWell calm down, calm down,â he coaxed as he stood up. âIâm sure sheâs around here somewhere.â
âSheâs my youngest and sheâs not learned how wandering is bad!â I darted down the river then looked back. âI need to get the others back to the barn. But I donât want to lose time looking for her.â I could feel the panic rising in my gut.
âYou take the goats back, Iâll keep looking,â he said gently. âIâll keep looking.â
I nodded and breathlessly lead the other goats back to the barn. As I made my way back towards the river, I looked everywhere. If I thought she could sleep under stones I would have turned every single one over. I searched all along the path and once I reached the river I searched for Chandra. After getting down to the bank I saw a flash of white in the corner of my eye. Chandra was knelt down beside a bush and my stomach seized. I instantly thought the worst and ran towards him.
âChandra?â I called out.
He looked up and shushed me, tapping his finger to his mouth. âBe quiet. Sheâs sleeping.â
âSleeping?â I blurted angrily. I ran to him and looked over his shoulder, seeing little Gilda curled up under a bush that was directly in a beam of sunlight.
âShe probably curled up here and passed out.â He looked up at me and smiled. âSheâs so cute, I didnât want to bother her.â
As I came closer Gilda lifted up her head, she moved herself closer and laid her head on Chandraâs knee. The look in his beautiful pink eyes made my heart melt. As my nerves settled I leaned up against him. It was quiet for a long moment while we let Gilda enjoy her nap. I fell asleep as the sun was warm and the flow of the river made a powerful spell.Â
I came to as Chandra was carrying me towards the house with Gilda at our heels. âAh, awake I see.â He sat me down and and smoothed back my clothes from being crumpled up. âHave a nice nap?â
âYeah, I guess I did,â I chuckled.Â
Gilda was happily standing at Chandraâs side. It made my heart flutter.
âYou owe me then,â Chandra teased. âEveryone got a full meeting with you, but I suppose being used as a pillow is fine.â
âSorry, I really am.â I chuckled.Â
âNo worries.â Chandra smoothed his palm over my cheek then tucked back my hair. âIâll have you all to myself here soon.âÂ
I closed my eyes, giving him the signal to kiss me. Instead he smoothed back my hair and kissed my forehead. âI can do better.â He whispered before he pulled away. âHopefully Reap wonât outshine me.â He gave me a smile before leaving, and my face was molten hot.Â
To say Iâve been having a hard time sleeping with all this going on would be accurate. Fitful is the word I would use. My overactive imagination combined with the âten handsâ mantra Iâd been going over, was giving me some pretty bodice heaving thoughts. I could only imagine what was coming with Reap and Eros still arriving. I knew a bit about Reap, Iâd gotten to talk to him already. But Eros was a bit of a mystery. His painted nails and pearl necklace were the most I had to introduce him to me. Reap was shy and super sweet, and his opening line to me had been on my mind as I awaited our meeting.
It was a regular afternoon, one where I had just received a grocery order. I always enjoyed the act of putting things away neatly. Whether it was in the barn or in my own home, having everything neatly placed and organized was cathartic. Plus, if I had a hard time seeing something I often forgot it was there. So itâs best I can see what I have.
Anyways, as I was remarking on how frustrating it is certain products have the same bottles but different labeling, there was a knock at my door. I turned, seeing a shape in the stained glass window of my door.
âJust a second!â I called out, setting the groceries aside. I opened the door to see a bouquet of flowers. Vivid pinks and reads, dashes of pale yellow, all sorts of flowers that must have cost a bundle to put together.
âDonât just shove it in her face.â
âI didnât mean to!â
I looked beyond the bouquet to see both Eros and Reap standing in my doorway. They both looked at me, similarly sympathetic but their eyes read it in different ways.
âTwo at once? What did I do to deserve this?â I asked.
Eros offered me the bouquet. âBefore that, I put this together myself with Reapâs suggestions.â
âYou did this? Itâs beautiful!â I exclaimed.
âEros is really talented with those sorts of things,â Reap spoke softly from behind. âItâs part of why I asked him to tag along for my visit.â He looked embarrassed, almost afraid to look at me, but he did with a lustrous sparkle to his eyes.
âCome on in, the kitchen is a mess right now, but the table is clear.â I stepped inside, letting them follow in after me.
âDo you have a vase?â Eros asked. âI can take care of those for you.â
âIâll have to hunt one down. Itâs been ages since I last got flowers I didnât pick myself.â I chuckled, gently laying the bouquet down.
âThe kitchen isnât a mess,â Reap said as he looked around.
âI just got groceries so itâs scattered.â I was searching through the lower cabinets, hoping to find my grandmotherâs vase. We used to put it on the table every Sunday with flowers my grandfather got for her. But childhood was so long ago.
From the corner of my eye I saw Eros mouth something to Reap. Reap nodded in turn and came to my side. âCan I help with the search?â
âYes, actually,â I huffed when the lower cabinets didnât pan out. âThe vase may be up behind one of the tins. Youâre so tall, youâd probably see it before me.â
Reap smiled at me. âSays the tall sight for short eyes.â
I broke into a huge smile I tried to keep restrained. âYes, even for me.â
His bright smile broke through that nervousness he held and he began searching along that top shelf, carefully peering behind the tins.
âI havenât had to use that vase since my grandmother passed,â I replied. âSo Iâm afraid I put it somewhere safe and forgot where safe was.â
Eros looked up from the sink, using a pair of shears to trim the ends of the flowers into the sink. âIsnât that how it always goes? I lose more scissors in my shop that way.â
âWhat is your shop?â I asked.
âA florist,â he said with a soft laugh. âI also dabble in a few other things. But flowers are my main pay check.â
âDonât be modest,â Reap said. âHeâs a renaissance man.â
âYou hush.â Eros ran water over the freshly trimmed stems.
Reap stepped back. âIs this it?â He held out the vase which was covered in grease and dust from years of sitting high up in the kitchen.
âYou found it!â I reached for it, touching Reapâs hands as I did. His gaze softened and his fingers twitched. âThank you,â I said a bit more gently. âIt needs a good washing.â At the sink I stood by Eros. His eyes glanced down upon my hands as I scrubbed into the vase.
âA hard worker, I see.â He took my hand gently as the vase soaked in water. He turned my palm over, gently brushing the tip of his claw along my skin. It made me shiver in a way I never had before. It was a whole new sensation to me.
Eros smiled. âWhat a strong heart line you have.â
âHeart line?â
Eros looked up into my eyes. âAlso known as the love line,â he almost sounded like he was purring saying this.
My cheeks radiated heat until it burned the tops of my ears. âWhat a coincidence,â I said breathlessly.
âSee, I told you it was a good thing I brought you along,â Reap murmured from behind. âYouâre so good at that.â
Eros gave Reap a gentle look. âDonât sell yourself short, Reap. You have charms all your own, but I am more than happy to be here for both of you.â He squeezed my hand gently before letting it go.
I rinsed off the vase. âYou donât need to be nervous about me. I consider myself an easy person to be around. Itâs growing up with animals I think.â
âThatâs what my brother said,â Reap said with a halfhearted chuckle. âBut still, Eros is good at breaking tension. I feel as though I am good at making it.â
âThere we are now,â Eros said as he finished off the vase. âBeautiful. Just like the one we made it for.â
I giggled and shyly looked away.
Reap sighed. âHe makes it seem so easy.â
âCompliments are meant to be easy,â Eros replied. âAction is whatâs best.â He motioned to me and Reap looked at me. We both exchanged glances and Reap smiled.
âAction, huh?â Reap rubbed at the side of his neck. âWell, would you like help putting your groceries away.â
I smiled. âIâm picky about how I put it up, so donât worry about it. All the cold stuff is put away. But, if youâd like, Iâd love to sit over some tea or coffee with the both of you. Itâs such a nice day out, and I rarely ever get to use my patio.â
Reapâs smile was probably the sweetest out of all five of them. I was charmed instantly by him, and anytime Eros spoke it was like he was putting me under some sort of dreamy spell.
There was a gentle breeze along with the warm sunlight, the old picnic table my grandfather made was rarely used these days, but sitting with Eros and Reap made it feel like old times.
âMy big brother went through the ceremony a few years ago,â Reap was telling me. âIâve always been nervous at the idea. But heâs been telling me all these amazing things so Iâve been growing more excited as the ceremony gets closer. Then, shocker, we find out only one of the chosen this year is attending.â
âHonest gut punch,â Eros replied. He had been holding my hand the entire time, massaging it, rubbing my palm, admiring the fine lines it seemed. âNone of us were sure what to do or how to act.â
âWe tried to wait on word from the council but-â Reap bowed his head and swallowed. âI got curious one night.â
âI saw your footprints,â I replied.Â
Reap looked aside and fidgeted in his seat. âIâm sorry! I wanted to see who stayed and IâŠwell-â
Eros rolled his hand. âGo on. Tell her.â
I looked back at Reap. âTell me what?â
He took in a deep breath. âI understood something my brother said. He said he saw his chosen, and knew then and there she was it. The one. His. I thought it was silly, Lerour was always dramatic but then I saw you.â
My heart fluttered.
âAnd like he said, I knew.â He looked up at me with a shy glance. âI think all of us felt that way. Thatâs how it seemed in the meeting anyways.â
I swallowed, nervous, elated, light headed, and a bunch of other things I donât think I could blame on the coffee. âWell, thank you.â I laugh because that sounded so silly. âI donât know why I said thank you! But uhmâŠI felt a little similar that day. I feel that way each time I meet one of you. Itâs like fitting into something comfortable.â
Reapâs smile returned. âIt does.â
Eros lifted my hand, kissing my knuckles. âWeâre all a little opposite in our own ways, but you seem to be a connecting factor to all of it.â
My heart was pounding fast. Ten hands kept repeating in my mind. âI am nervous about the ceremony. Iâve barely had one serious boyfriend, let alone five. Let alone five paralangua ones.â I gazed into Reapâs eyes, seeing a gentle gaze. âI donât know if it will work out for all of us butâŠI am excited to try.â
Four:
My heart is hammering out of my chest. No. Beyond that. My heart is hammering in space and changing Earthâs rotation. I was wading in knee deep water, entering the depths of the labyrinth. Cold mud and stone greet my toes. Meanwhile, ahead of me, there is a vastness I cannot describe. The labyrinth is one of the greatest mysteries the Festival of Ash provides, and I am alone inside.
The paralangua will begin their hunt now. But I am the sole prey this festival. Usually, the five chosen paralangua will enter along with some other hopeful paralangua, hunting for their chosen mate. This year, my five will enter alone, and they will hunt me together, yet separately. The order of who leaves the labyrinth will determineâŠwell, something very intimate.
I slipped and fell into the water, splashing down, losing footing, and finding myself careening down a waterslide that shoots me out over a waterfall, below me is a vast depth with a faint blue glow.
I notice none of this beauty or splendor. I am far too busy screaming at the top of my lungs as I cascade down the waterfall like a ragdoll.
From the waterfall lunges a huge, imposing figure that rips me from the air. My heartbeat is such that now the moon is shaken from its orbit. I am tucked into large arms, one of which grabs hold of a vine and swings us towards a wall where he stops my careening.
âEasy now,â a calm voice whispers. âI got you in the nick of time.â There was a slight chuckle to his voice, but I was too busy trying to breathe to notice the sexy inflection.
âOh my god!â I gulped in air. âOh my god!â My naked body pressed into the scaly flank of Chandra. His white scales gleamed with that faint blue glow. He looked iridescent in the light.
âTook a tumble, did ya?â Chandra laughed as he put me upon his back. âWas planning to sneak up on you until you did that.â He started climbing up the vine, heading towards the beam of light over us.
I clung to his neck, holding on for dear life as the pool below us grew even further away. âI didnât even see that I was that close to a slide!â
âNo worries.â Chandra started to laugh but was yanked from below.Â
Glancing down, Venus was upon us, his hand wrapped tightly around Chandraâs ankle.Â
âDo you mind?â Chandra tried kicking, but found it upset his balance on the rope. âIâm trying to get our Stella out of here.â
âAnd let you be first?â Venus snarled. âFat chance.â
Chandra eased me around to his front, holding me in the curve of his arm. âExcuse me, love.â He set me upon a ledge on the wall then leapt down, tackling Venus, and both of them dropped into the knee deep water I started in.
I yelped, quickly coming to standing. I watched them struggle for a moment, their bodies writhing and thrashing in the water, before I made my way along the ledge. The ledge led to an opening, which itself turned into a dimly lit corridor. Light filtered in through the ceiling, which was covered by vines and tree limbs. The floor was cold with settled patches of water that trickled down the walls. I was supposed to keep running, creating the chase that the labyrinth was made for. But I really didnât want to. I wanted one of them to find me, it didnât matter who. I just wanted to be found and taken out of here.
As I came to the end of the hallway, I peeked around the corner to see stairs on either side, and a drop off straight ahead. I stood there for a moment, listening for rushing water or something, not sure.
âThere you are.â
I jumped nearly out of my skin. I looked this way and that before turning back around and seeing a massive shape at the end of the hall I just came from.
âFound you,â Solomonâs deep voice rippled through the air.
âOh, hi,â My voice pitched as I spoke. âFancy-â I slipped on the wall as I tried to brace against it. âFancy meeting you here.â
Solomon stepped into the hallway. Light flitted across his body, and I took in the entire spectacle of it. I swallowed, forcing myself to gaze back up at his face. âWhat happened to Chandra and uhmâŠâ
âVenus?â
I nodded, keeping my eyeline up.Â
Solomon lowered down to all fours. âDonât worry about them.â He lunged, rushing towards me.
I jumped again, rushing out the door and heading for the stairs. Solomon came racing out, standing back up on his legs as I was halfway down the stairs. We locked eyes as I turned back to look. I smiled, and he smiled back, so I turned and kept running.Â
I stumbled into the water at the bottom of the stairs. Taking a step off a stone landing, I went waist-deep, which made running and impossibility. There was a loud splash behind me, and then there was silence as the water settled.Â
âThis would be so scary under any other circumstance,â I whispered to myself. I saw ripples in the water where Solomon was swimming. I ducked under, swimming away myself to continue the chase.Â
Now, I know that there is no possible way I could ever hope to outswim a paralangua, especially one like Solomon. But, I do have years of swimming in the creek outside the farm against kids in the neighborhood on my side. I was a strong swimmer, so there was a possibility for some fun to be had.
But just as I was thinking this, my leg was grabbed and I was pulled back through the water. I was lifted to the surface where Solomon had me locked in a tight embrace. My back was pressed to his chest, and I could feel the rhythm of his very even breathing, but also, the excited rumble of his heart.Â
âYou almost slipped away from me,â he whispered into my ear.
âAlmost,â I laughed. I patted my hands upon his arms, feeling just how tight he was holding onto me. I glanced back at him, seeing a curious smile grow upon his face. I looked back forward, seeing more ripples in the water that aimed directly at us.
Eyes peered up from the water, then slowly, Eros rose from the depths. âI really didnât want to go head to head with you, Solomon, old boy.â
Solomon laughed, âThen donât.â
Eros wiped water back from his face then sighed. His eyes focused on me. âI do have to admit.â He licked his chops as his eyes turned sultry. âI like the looks of this.â
I had felt exposed and naked this whole time, well, because I was. But Erosâ gaze did something to me that made me all the more aware of my body, my shape, and Solomonâs pressed against it.
âCareful now,â Solomon coaxed.Â
Eros let out a deep, dark chuckle that sent shivers up my spine. âOh trust me. Iâm as a gentle as a la-â He was cut off, dragged back under water so fast I was half certain my brain glitched out.
âGoodness,â Solomon sounded just as surprised as I was.
Venus rose up, water pouring out of his jowls. He was snarling, breathing heavy as he looked at us with an almost crazed look to his eyes.
âGive her up, old man.â
âNow why is everyone suddenly calling me old man?â Solomon lifted me up and set me back behind him. âIâll show you old, little boy.â
Venus roared and charged ahead, but much like Eros he was ripped aside and tossed into the waters with a mightly splash. Eros dove after him, charinging into a fight that looked more vicious than it needed to be.
âRun.â Solomon whispered back at me. âNow is your chance while the children are fighting.â
âWhat about you?â I asked.
Solomon just laughed and rushed into the fight happening before them.
I went into the water, swimming away from the kerfuffle and finding land I could walk upon. I climbed onto a mossy embankment and slid down to the other side where I plopped into a plush field of little white flowers.Â
I laid there for a moment, catching my breath. Up above me was a canopy of vines, sunlight streaming down in radiant, warm beams. I laid for a second, resting and letting myself warm.Â
âThose three are fighting,â I murmured. âChandra is somewhere. And I havenât seen Reap yet.â I sat back up and saw across the field of flowers there was an alcove where Reap was curled up inside.
âOh,â I gasped. I stood up, waiting to see if he would move, but he didnât. I walked across the field then climbed up upon the stone to peer into the alcove. âReap?â I touched his back and he shifted slightly.Â
I took hold of his arm and shook him gently. To which he stirred more. âItâs alright, keep running.â
I climbed up further to peer inside. âWhatâs the matter?â
Reap curled up more. âNothing. Iâm just not made out for this sort of thing.â
I stepped over him and into the alcove, finding it was quite comfortable inside and the stone was warmed from the sun. âNeither am I.â
Reap sighed, keeping his eyes closed. âIâve never been much of a fighter. I donât mind getting out last.â
I sat beside him, pulling my knees up to my chest. âI mind.â
Reap swallowed hard but remained silent.Â
âYou were the first one I met. I mean, it only seems fair.â I touched him, seeing him shiver from the contact. âI like you.â
Reap let out a nervous, shuddering laugh and he opened his eyes. âDamn. I knew it. Youâre beautiful.â
I was aware of my nakedness again, but I knew that in this position all my rolls and folds were showing tenfold. âOh come on.â
âI mean it.â Reap muttered as he doubled up into his fetus position. âAnd you smell even better.â
I was growing warm from within. âYouâre lovely too.â I said as I gazed down his body, watching his tail cover a certain area.
âYou should go now,â Reap murmured. âTheyâll show up soon.â
âSo?â I breathed as I lowered myself down to him. I touched him more, grazing my hand down his chest. âIâve been waiting for this. Iâm not sure I can wait more. The more they come after me, the more they touch me-â
Reap shuddered again. âI shouldnât be first.â
âWhy not?â I chuckled. âI already said-â
Reap grabbed my hand before it could lower and he glared into my eyes. âIâm not made to be enjoyed so easily,â he growled.
I furrowed my brow. âWhat does that mean?â
Slowly he began to unfurl, pulling his tail back and shifting his hips to present himself. Now, as a farm girl, Iâve seen some things. Lots of things. Back when we had tons of animals, I had seen horses, bulls, hell, even goose and pigs go at it on the farm. My grandfather taught me the birds and the bees that way, which my grandmother and mother had to correct in a lot of ways.
But when I say I had never seen anything like Reap, you know it was nothing you had ever seen.
âSee?â He snarled. âIâm too big for anyone to enjoy.â He grunted and looked away in shame. âItâs miserable. Sometimes I even get light headed when I get erect.â
âAre you now?â I whispered as my eyes remained locked to the shaft. Thick. Big. Ten hands.
âA little.â Reap kept his gaze away from me.
I licked my lips as the hunger inside me grew. Yes, he was big, but I was also a big girl. âMay I touch it?â
Reap jerked and his hard cock swayed. âYou should run.â
âPlease? My hands are cold and you look warm.â It was a ruse, but maybe he would fall for it.
He growled under his breath, straining as he seemed to throb harder now. âJust a little. Itâs fine.â
Yes! I reached down, placing the tip against my palm. Reap whined, so did I. I stroked down, my hand was barely able to wrap around him. I bit down hard on my lip, caressing him even more.
âFuck,â Reap whimpered and his hips shook.
âReap,â I breathed. âIâm so fucking turned on.â
He whined again as I began to pump my hand up and down his mighty cock. âI-â He couldnât get any words out.
I scooted down, taking my mouth and joining my hands. I kissed and licked him, feeling his pulse directly against my tongue. I was growing so wet I could flood the labyrinth myself. And there was an ache, god the ache!
âStella, please!â He gasped breathlessly.
I took his tip into my mouth, tasting him directly, tasting a saltiness that dripped from the tip. Fuck, I needed him.
âWe shouldâŠI should-â Reap was shivering, his hips were bucking.
âI know.â I moaned as I sat up. I lifted my leg to straddle him, taking his cock and rubbing myself against it.
Reap cried out in a sort of desired agony. âHot!â he cried. âYouâre so hot!â
I whimpered, holding him with one hand while grinding my slit against him. I needed him, in all ways. I had been trying my hardest all this time to behave myself, to keep a cool mind. But ten hands. Five cocks. Six if you wanted to take Reapâs size into account.
I place his tip to my entrance and saw the wide eyed expression upon his face. I nodded to him, slowly taking his monstrous cock inside. God! It felt so good!
âStella-â he gasped and grabbed hold of my hips. âBe careful.â
I moaned with glee as I took him, rocking myself upon his tip then taking slightly more. My jaw hung slack as I took more and more, but there was a lot of him to take. Below me his hips rocked, pressing into the sensitive spots inside. I cried out, leaning forward to balance myself against him.Â
He would take me first, there was no question in it. I panted, trying to catch my breath, but my hips were moving to find my release, and I didnât want to stop. Not at all. I faced Reap again, smiling at him.
âIâm enjoying you very much,â I moaned. âOh fuck, so much.â
Reap threw his head back. âIâve never felt like this.â
âHey!â
The loud bellowing call shook us both, taking us completely out of our hedonistic moment. Venus was standing there in the flowers, huffing and puffing from what was, no doubt, a hard fight against Eros and Solomon. Heâd also gone head to head with Chandra first thing.
âWhat are you doing? Thatâs not fair!â Venus pointed towards us, and I could swear I saw a glint of tears in his eyes.
âOh uh-â I was scrambling, but not moving out of place. âVenus, itâs uhm-â
Venus charged towards us but stopped short. âI wanted-â His voice cracked and I was sure I saw tears.
Reap swallowed and he sat up, picking me up with him. He handed me out towards Venus. âYou can join in. Who says we have to fight?â
Venus sniffled and looked away, his eyes darting back to me. âThen what?â He sniffed again, but this time, it was like he was tasting the air.
âFuck?â I spoke up which caused Venus to chuckle.Â
He smiled at me, getting that cocky smug of his. âFine then.â He took me from Reap and laid me down upon the flowers. He kissed me, planting them all over my body along with hints of his sharp teeth. His tongue replaced Reapâs cock, slurping and moaning against me until I was a blushing, heaving mess again. I clawed at the flowers behind me, gripping at them until I moved to Venusâ shoulders.
Reap watched us from above, eyes bleary but focused at the same time. He would glance around shyly, fidgeting slightly as he seemed embarrassed to touch himself. That was, until it became too much and he had to take both his hands and stroke himself.
Below my waist, Venus was enjoying himself. His tongue was long and strong, lapping at my clit, then burrowing deep inside me. His teeth would hit every so often, eliciting a startled yet pleasured moan from my lips.
âYouâre really good at that,â Reap said through a strained breath.
Venusâ eyes cut up to him, lifting his head briefly to crack that superior smile. âHave you not tasted her? Sheâs awesome.â
Not sure how being called awesome is sexy but I would take it.
Reap knelt down beside Venus and I thought my head would pop open like a cartoon. He and Venus licked at the same time and I craned my neck back, cupping both hands over my mouth as they feasted together.
âSee how she likes it?â Venus chuckled.
Reap moaned softly against me, almost like a purr.
âSave some room for us?â
All three of us jerked, turning our attention to Eros and Solomon coming over the flowery hill. Eros was watching, licking his chops as he came forward.Â
He laughed as he stood before us, Solomon hobling up behind. âDid we change the rules on the elders? Naughty boys. I like it.â
Venus sneered as Eros came up, kneeling down beside me to caress down my chest then kiss me.
âYou guys really did a number on me.â Solomon huffed as he plopped down beside me, laying down and letting out a relaxed breath. âDonât let us stop you. By all means, keep going.â
âWhat about Chandra?â I managed to squeak out as Eros stroked and kissed me all over, nuzzling his head against me as he let out tranquil, happy sighs.
Solomon chuckled, pointing up.
I craned my neck back, peering up above the alcove where Reap and I had started. I see Chandra poised there, watching us with a lusty glint in his eyes.
âPervert!â Venus shouted out as he stood up.
Chandra laughed. âIâm just enjoying the view! Whatâs wrong with that?â He slithered down from his perch and approached us. âYou and Reap make wonderful dancing partners,â he said, jutting his tongue out. âNow come here. I think I earned my turn.â He grabbed me up from the ground, holding me so my rear was cupped in his great palms.
âWho decided this order?â Eros chuckled.
Chandraâs cock slipped against my thigh, rubbing there as he rocked me in his hands. âDonât you want to do the pampering at the end?â
Eros pouted slightly, looking away as Reap came up to his side. âI suppose.â
âThen I get my go.â Chandra lifted me slightly so when I moved his cock popped up and he was able to place me over him. âIâm nowhere near as endowed as Reap,â he whispered so only I could hear. âBut I know better how to utilize my gifts.â He entered me, pressing deep until I was overflowing.
I grunted, biting my lip as Chandra began moving me, using me as his own toy. I felt someone press up against my back, hugging me and touching me as Chandra moved inside.Â
Ten hands. I thought to myself again. Ten hands.
âEnjoying yourself, huh?â Eros whispered into my ear from behind. âGood. Youâre going to be having this feeling for a long time.â
âWhat about the labyrinth?â Reap murmured.
âFuck the labyrinth!â Venus snapped. âWeâre here with Stella now. They can wait on us for a minute, canât they?â
âI hope longer than a minute,â Solomon laughed.Â
Suddenly Chandra pulled out, allowing Eros to fill in his place. He eased up between my cheeks, slipping in from behind and wrapping his arms tight around me.
I cried out, feeling the first peak of intensity from my gut. I threw my head back against Erosâ shoulder, almost completely out of breath. Someone would have to give me mouth to mouth to survive.
âThatâs it,â Eros puffed. âFeel me. Take me. Oh youâre beautiful! Youâre amazing. Supple creature you are-â
âEnough adjectives,â Chandra laughed. âSheâs close. She doesnât need words. She needs actions.â His hand touched me below, fingering my clit.
It was too much, too hard a push. I erupted from that touch, arching my back and struggling to keep myself in their arms. I cried out, whimpering pitifully as Chandra continued to touch me, not stopping even though my body was crying out in that agonizing ecstasy.
âYouâll kill her,â Reap said gently.
âNonsense, women are stronger than most. She can handle this,â Chandra moaned. I felt his warmth against my belly, he was cumming from seeing me cum. His thick seed dribbled down my belly, coating his fingers as he kept moving them against me.
âIâm cumming too-â Eros said with breathless abandon. âIâm-!â The strain in his voice choked off his words as he released, filling me to the brim even more than I expected.
The cool of the grass and flowers beneath my back pushed me back into reality. I gazed above me, seeing eyes watching me as I tried to pull myself out of my stupor.
âWow!â I panted, pushing my hair out of my forehead.Â
Venus chuckled. âYouâve still got three to go.â
I gave a thumbs up.
âA thumbs up, sheâs a brave one,â Solomon laughed as he rolled over into my side. He pet down my chest, nuzzling my neck and murmuring softly to me.
âWe should let her rest,â Reap said gently.
I propped up on my elbows. âI can handle it. Iâll be sore come morning, but Iâm used to that,â I laughed.
âWell then, donât mind me.â Solomon climbed up on top of me, stroking the hair from my face and gazing into my eyes. âI hope you donât mind.â
I shook my head, raising my knees up around his hips so he could move between my thighs.
âEros and Chandra left quite a mess,â Solomon murmured. âGood. I like that.â
I would say Solomon was the middle ground between Chandra, Eros, and Reap. He was quite big, but more long than girthy. He breathed in deeply, rubbing himself against me before he took the plunge. I was still quite sensitive, and his entrance shot tingles through all my limbs.
Solomon held up my legs, hugging them to his chest as he started slowly within me. He breathed out then hissed through his teeth. âDamn boys got my leg. But this will all be worth it. I can feel it.â
I could too. He reached deeper inside me than Chandra or Eros. I could tell he was holding back, but at this point he really didnât need to.
Venus knelt down by my head. âDo you mind if-?â He seemed shy to ask.
âWhat would you like?â I stretch out my arm, rubbing up his thigh towards his cupped hand.
âWell-â He released himself from his hand, aiming his cock towards my mouth. âJust a little. Thatâs all.â
I parted my lips, letting him rest his tip upon my tongue. He pressed deeper, going into my cheek then towards my throat. I closed my lips around him and he breathed out this pitiful little sound.
I wondered what Reap was doing. We started out together, I hoped he wasnât growing impatient or anything.Â
âTrade?â Solomon chuckled to Venus.
Venus nodded eagerly, carefully removing himself from my lips then switching positions with Solomon. Venus was short, but quite girthy, he stretched me a bit as he slipped inside. Solomonâs length hit against my throat, almost making me gag. But I had trained my gag reflux ages ago due to shoveling manure on the farm. Sorry, not exactly sexy talk, Iâll leave it there though.
âOh-â Venus let out that adorable, pitiful sound again. His face was elated and subtly precious. Solomonâs cock went down my throat a little, he struggled with not cumming immediately.Â
There was a shudder again from deep within. Actually, Iâm not surprised this didnât happen sooner. Chandra and Eros had left me so raw and tender, I should have cum when Venus first entered me. But it took a moment to grow back, to settle warm in my belly and spill out again. My legs trembled first, sending their waves up through my body until I could no longer hold on.
Solomon sensed this, pulling himself out and splattering a bit on my lips, then aiming himself at my breasts as he finished. Venus cried out, nearly falling forward from he force at which his release hit him.
Venus rested on top of me, snuggling to my chest despite Solomonâs seed all over them. Solomon chuckled, smoothing my hair back and kissing my face as I relaxed again.
âAny good?â He asked.
I nodded, not really able to form words this time.
âMm,â Venus snuggled up closer, curling himself around me.Â
âCome on little one, weâve got one last one to make his turn.â Solomon, said, shaking Venusâ shoulder.Â
Venus swatted at him. âJust a second longer.â
âItâs okay. Iâm fine,â Reap responded quietly.
âWhatâs fair is fair.â Solomon managed to get Venus up. âCome on, you need to wash that pretty face of yours.â
âWhat?â Venus touched his face and squirmed. âOh god! I laid in it!â
Solomon and Venus walked aside while Reap came over to me. âIf you need a break, I donât mind waiting.â
I pulled him down, hugging him tight into my arms. âJust a minute. Iâll be okay.â I nuzzled into his neck, feeling him trembled as his arms joined in.
âThis is nice,â he whispered.
I was exhausted, my body spent beyond its natural borders. But I wasnât done yet. Eight out of ten hands were dealt with. Just two more to take care of. âIt is.â
âI do really like you,â he whispered. âHad this been a normal festivalâŠI would haveâŠyou would have been-â
I kissed him softly, gazing up into his eyes as I pet his face. âI would have liked that.â I smiled, sitting up to roll him into the ground. My legs were tired, but I knew this position was the best way to take him. His beast of a cock didnât need to be tamed exactly, just coddled. After everything, I think I was even more relaxed than before and could take him with ease.
âYou donât-â I put my finger over his mouth to keep Reap quiet.
âShh,â I hissed. âRelax. Youâve earned this. Youâve been so patient.â I placed my hands upon his chest. Easing myself back over him. It was much easier than before, much smoother. I could take him deeper now.
Reapâs eyes widened then he threw his head back, groaning. He trembled more, grasping onto my hips as I moved upon him.
Had it not been for this whole mess with the other chosen not showing up, Reap would have been my choice as well. He was exactly what I wanted in a partner. But now, knowing all five of these strapping paralangua, I donât think I could ever choose between them. They were all so special, so precious. Their differently personalities meshed well, including with me. I liked they worked together and they didnât seem jealous. I wanted this, more than anything, I wanted all of them. Not just their ten hands. But their five hearts.Â
Poor Reap had been waiting so long, I could feel his thunder deep within me. He came and he came, shuddering and twisting as his long awaited release finally took over. I rode him the entire time, finding pleasure in watching him writhe under me.
I woke some time later in a bed, sunlight dappling in through the curtains. I sighed and laid back, not too eager to get up and started my day. The Golden Girls were surprisingly quiet. But then I recalled what had happened, and where I actually was.
I was in the castle at the end of the labyrinth. I sat up in the bed to look around, noticing the soreness of my thighs. I tilted my head towards the door to try and see out, but I couldnât really see anything.
I laid back down, closing my eyes and enjoying the coolness of the room. It must have rained between my memory and waking up. I could smell it in the air.
I then felt the bed sag and looked to my right. Venus was crawling back into bed. He snuggled up against me and I put my arms around him.
âWe didnât wake you did we?â He asked. âWe went to the farm to take care of things while you slept.â
âYouâre too sweet, thank you.â I murmured.
âSolomon is making something to eat too.â Venus sighed tranquilly as he rested against me.
âGood morning.â Reap joined us in bed as well, curling up to my back and spooning me. He smelled like the soap in my kitchen. I wonder if he did my dishes.Â
âMorning,â I murmured.
Reap nuzzled to my hair, breathing in. I rested again, nearly falling asleep when my temple was kissed from over Venus. Chandra joined us, followed by Eros who crawled up beside Venus to cuddle me.
I smiled to myself, feeling a bit smug and content with how this all turned out. Eventually Solomon arrived, bringing coffee and tea for all of us. We sat upon the bed, drinking the warm beverages and sighing in content. Nothing needed to be said, we had a long time to say everything in the future. For now, we were content and happy. Iâm sure we would spend time here at the castle for a while, like all chosen did. But soon, Iâd have to find room for them on the farm. Which sounded like a perfect chore.Â

Tall!Reader x Orc!Nanami
Fluff, no smut, domestic, established relationship.
Nanami was getting frustrated. He knew you were restless. He knew you needed to be constantly moving around â doing something â or you would feel uneasy. Yet, here you were with an injured back, advised complete bed rest, expected to be lazing on a cloud of pillows, but instead, hobbling your way to the kitchen with ill-disguised pain to make a cup of coffee.Â
Nanami grunted. He couldnât help it. His people may have been one of the toughest races in the world, but even the strongest orc would know when to lie down and rest for their good. âKento, Iâm fine!â You said, âYouâre being paranoid, I have to move around, I have to work.â You heard the orc huff behind you. âKentoâŠâÂ
Truth be told, asking for help for yourself was never something you had been comfortable with. From a young age, you had been forced to be independent, a fact that crippled you today when it came to requesting assistance. You would be loathe to ask Nanami for a cup of coffee when you knew you could make it just as easily â or so you thought.Â
And so, you plodded to the kitchen, with your injured back, ignoring the dull ache that slowly increased as you walked. The grimace that you quickly turned into a smile didn't go unnoticed by Nanami who followed closely behind.Â
âMy flower,â he called out using the name he had specially assigned for you. âLet me make it. Please. You need to be resting.âÂ
âI am resting, babyâŠâ
Nanami huffed, there really was no arguing with youâŠbut his presence did not fade from behind, barely bumping into you as he moved around.
All of a sudden as you reached out to one of the top cupboards for a mug, something pulled and a sharp pain like a crack of lightning went down your lower back to your waist. You cried out crumpling onto the cold countertop where you had just laid out the jar of coffee powder. Your arm hit it, knocking it over, and the contents spilt out.Â
Immediately Nanami was beside you. One thick arm wrapped around your shoulders, and the other lifted your legs up into a princess carry. Your large frame was rendered tiny by his broad shoulders. With one arm wrapped around you, he held you up easily â as if you were nothing more than a kitten to him.Â
âFlowerâŠ?â there was a tremble in his hushed voice. âAre you alright?â
You nodded weakly. âIâmââ
âDonât say youâre fine!â You looked up at his face. His lips were drawn into a thin line and his brows furrowed into a frown. âYou keep saying youâre fine when youâre clearly not. You have been told by the doctor to stay put and rest your body, but you refuse to listen. Do you not feel like you can rely on me, flower? Is that what it is? Do you believe I will deny you a simple cup of coffee when asked to make it?âÂ
âThatâs not it⊠KentoâŠâ You tried. âI just donât want to be a burden.â
âWoman,â Nanami roared. âI would slay a dragon for you if you desired its hoard. I would part the waves if you wished to see the ocean floor. I would move the heavens if you wanted to see the moon in the daytime!â He pulled you closer into his broad chest and you felt a fat wet droplet plop onto your cheek.
âNanaminâŠâ it was your voice that was now hushed. âIâm sorry I didn't mean to make you get so worriedâŠâÂ
âHow can I not, flower? I love you.Â
You raised your hand and cupped his cheek gently, pulling his face down. His soft hair, usually combed up into his professional style now hung free over his forehead. Blonde strands that you now ran your fingers through.Â
Your lips touched his in a reverent prayer and you mumbled against them, âThank you, and Iâm sorry.âÂ
Nanami shook his head, his nose brushing against yours. His long lashes tickled your skin. âWill you rely on me from now on?âÂ
You nodded. âIâm not used to it, but Iâll try, I promise.âÂ
He kissed you chastely first your lips, then your nose, and then your forehead. âThat's all I need,â he hummed, placing his chin on top of yours. âNow, let's see about that coffee shall we...âÂ
You want more orc!Nanami? Here you go

august 2024 episode of octavinelle + 4koma update
You know the drill by now!
Spoilers for the 4koma and the Episode of Octavinelle chapter 12 below the cut. As a reminder, the Episode of Savanaclaw wonât be updating again until winter.
đ«” THERE THEY AREâŠ
THE SMOOTH CRIMINALSâŠ
The poses in this opening page are so good; Leona sat all lax like a boss who knows whoâs large and in charge, Ruggie leaning against the chair and swinging the keys to the vault around on one finger⊠The posing perfectly captures their personalities and roles in relationship to one another.
Once again, Azul makes many fantastically desperate and despair-filled expressions this installment đ
Falling to his knees???? Laying flat on the floor??? Man is UNMATCHED when it comes to theatrics.
I like this shot of Azul and Leonaâs gazes lining up; it really helps give you the sense of two rivals sizing each other up.
(Side note: you can also tell how much painstaking detail the artists went through to include their eye makeup in these close-ups. Hats off to them for the extra effort, it looks great!)
⊠WHY DiD THEY hAvFTA mAkE HIM So smUGHERE đ
damn i wish i was that stack of contracts
⊠I mean what
sorry
Sorry
SORRY
I got distracted there, what were we talking about again????
AYO they always make Leona casting Kingâs Roar look so darn cool in the manga đ
My favorite panel in this sequence has to be the one with the text bubbles. He looks so nonchalant and a little stern as he speaks the chant⊠The shadows on his face add a lot to the atmosphere of it!
This chapter is the part where Leona gets to sanding Azulâs hard work away! Look at how beautifully drawn Azulâs reaction is âš
The particle-y effect of the contracts melting into sand is nice đ It feeds Azulâs tears⊠Tasty mealâŠ
MOU YADA IN MANGA FORM IS PEAK
lmao Azul for real threw a tantrum, flailing his limbs and everything đ€Ą Love that even Leona and Ruggie have NO idea how they should respond to this.
Oh no, here comes the OBâŠ
The anguish Azulâs experiencing is really coming through. Heâs sweating so much and his entire face is so. Er⊠for lack of a better term, twisted.
I think seeing the blot leaking out from each of them helps to illustrate that theyâre truly being overwhelmed and consumed by their own inner darkness. Itâs sad to see đ
We cut back to Yuuta and co. squaring off against the twins!
I wanted to point out and comment on these parts with Jack. Heâs not a character that I usually pay much attention to, but I gotta commend him for fighting back so hard and trying to shield the picture even when heâs clearly got no chance of winning. Jack bearing his fangs at Floyd with pupils contracted⊠𫶠Very good and loyal pupper! I get the Jack appeal now, lol
I LOVE THIS
It reminds me of the similar Azul-Leona framing earlier in the chapter, though with a different context. I like that this shows how the twins are in sync and coming to the same terrible conclusion.
Not long after, they rush to Azulâs sideâwhich makes me think that these two worry for his wellbeing đ THEY DONmT SAY IT OUT LOUD BUT THEY CARE
Oh yeah, here it comes⊠OB Azul has arrived!! đ
I MEAN YEAH itâs not good for his health, but Iâm so hyped for the battle and flashbacks to his childhood! Baby!Azul shall NOT escape our sightâŠ
The 4koma this month centers on Jack, Vargas, and others (Jade, Kalim, Deuce) talking about using transformation magic for racing.
dhejeveiwhwuow I would say more, but I actually didnât find this 4koma that remarkable. Itâs a generally the boys chatting about animals and their different activities they excel at.

Something that has gone largely unnoticed by the wider community is how absolutely lethal of a combination haas with nico and kevin specifically is. don't get me wrong, haas has been on an amazing upwards trajectory, and ayao has been transforming the team. but that does not mean there are no issues. they have huge holes specifically in strategy and tyre wear that, thankfully, nico and kevin have been able to patch over.
we know that nico is amazing at tyre management and overdriving his cars. we see it every saturday in qualifying, really. but he's what I have filed away as a nervous driver in my head. he qualifies well and then bottles his starts. he runs in p3 and makes stupid, stupid mistakes. he gives up battles too quickly.
kevin on the other hand is really good at defending and overtaking. he doesn't have the most overtakes on the entire grid for the 2024 season for no reason. he didn't pull off jeddah for nothing. and he may not be able to get miracles out of the haas as nico can, but he does still drive it to the max.
nico has pointed out that the difference between them isn't as big as it's sometimes made out to be. that doesn't mean there isn't a difference. I do believe if you are looking for the raw race pace of the car you should look more at kev than nico, because nico feeds his cars crack and snorts a line of cocaine before getting in. he isn't the benchmark we should look at for '25, kevin is. the team is doing well, but there is still work to be done in 2025.
now, you can probably already see where this is going. being shit on the tyres is fine if you have a guy who could drive his tyres to the moon and back. of course, being good on the tyres would mean you could fight for higher positions and even podiums, but the below average performance from the team gets made up by the above average performance from nico to come out at, well, averages. p8's and p9's and so on.
and you can get away with fucking your driver over in strategy if he is just going to keep going, elbows out, and make his spots back up. if kevin will relentlessly continue fighting and driving like it's a win.
kevin is also a very late braker. his driving style looks, still, despite the years, very imprinted from his FR3/FR3.5 days (which as you may know was the series he competed in before making the jump to F1), where he is fast and late in the corners. this means he needs a stable and heavy rear to balance him and not send him flying into the person he is overtaking or the wall. what would cause understeer for others is a good set up for kevin.
here we get back to nico. nico is crazy adaptable. he's a bit older than kevin, and you can also see that in his driving. he went from GP2 to F1. the cars of the 2000s/late 2000s are a lot more aggressive than nowadays--which is why we saw a lot of the older drivers start to fall off around the 2018 mark. not all of them could adapt to this change. smoothness is the name of the game.
if you watch nico's race on boards, you'll find this smoothness, because he needs it to not wear his tyres. but for qualifying, and being quick over one lap pace, you want as much tyre grip as possible, and for that he reverts back to a more aggressive driving style. this isn't the norm. it took the rest of the pack that started around the time nico did or earlier time to adjust to the new car driving style because you don't just snap your fingers and switch that up. or, you know, you aren't supposed to.
apart from that, you will also find that nico tends to brake late, though not as much as kevin. it still means they do well with similar setups.
however, what this lead to, is that nico came into the team in 2023 to a car that was primarily set up after kevin. and they could just keep going with that, because nico can make all of his cars work. he can snap his fingers and feel around a bit and then he's back to his usual strengths and weaknesses. this is one of the parts that tends to go unnoticed, because realistically he doesn't have that many strengths beyond tyres and pace. we dont see this adaptability as the average viewer. beyond both of them being late brakers and carrying lots of speed in the corners, they can iron out the kinks for kevin. it's also a constellation he is used to, with checo also needing this rear in a heavy set up (and max doesn't, which is part of the reason we started seeing such gaps in their performance when the car started being shit. it was, at least, still set up for max, but not for checo).
we already know that their driving styles work together well; that nico is open to experimentation with setups; that kevin does well with the haas car because he has been their driver for six years. he has been with haas for six out of their eight years. they quite literally built this team and their cars around him. they need someone like nico who can deal with that, who doesn't need them to change up everything as they have done their entire time in the sport for him. it makes it comfortable for haas, because they are a small team, and they have budget issues. the more they can focus on upgrades and strategy, the better. they don't need to waste time on figuring out what works, because they know what kevin needs and can trust that nico will manage with it.
that's the car. at the end here I already started getting into it from a team dynamics perspective. kevin is incredibly loyal to them, and we know the team is to him (not talking about gunther, or even ayao/management. talking in the race engineers and mechanics sense). kevin brought them their first and only pole. haas stayed with him when everyone else seemed to have given up on him. we joked over it on this side of tumblr when it happened again in baku, but historically, haas does not do well without kevin. the team seems to basically fall apart. of course we can't know the specifics, how deep this actually runs, how much feedback he actually gives and how much of it is just coincidence and being used to him, so on and so forth. and it's not like this is impossible to fix, with time and effort. but it is something that is real.
there's also strategy. haas is shit at it, there's no better way of putting it. canada's brilliant wet tyre gamble and how badly they fumbled it. how often kevin is running well and then gets demoted to somewhere p13-p18 because someone on the wall fumbled it. but this is okay, because kevin and nico are both incredibly aware of the entire field. they are not as reliant on the team outside of when to pit. listening to their on boards is a steady drip of information, and I do mean both of them. they know the times of the three people behind and three in front, tyres of said people, how well they are doing on said tyres, who is boxing and when, where they are coming out, who they are going to be a threat to. all the stuff about covering someone with a pit stop, or not overworking the tyres now so that you can overtake x person later, kevin and nico do themselves. I know more about the rest of the field listening to haas onboard than to the broadcast. compare that to oscar's radio--which I put up in baku when kevin wasnt racing--there was dead silence. crickets. kevin and nico are incredibly aware of the rest of the field at all times. it is rare that it is ever silent on the radio for long.
haas is an incredibly fragile team, and they need this consistency and austerity to put in performances like we have been seeing over the past season.
but what does this mean for the future? well, it's not completely bleak. esteban seems to also prefer an understeer heavy style of driving, but I will admit to not being as familiar with him. either way, he shouldn't be completely out of familiar waters getting into a car that has been developed and set up around this style. and oliver seems adaptable enough, jumping from F2 to ferrari to haas and at least not dying in the process. he is also in a relearning period regardless of what team he is in, because he is moving up to F1 for the first time proper. he'll be able to learn things the haas way immediately.
the real kickers are going to be if haas will manage to iron out these issues that kevin and nico have been accounting for. yes, they should ideally improve upon their race pace some more, so that they can comfortably and consistency achieve those p10-p8 positions. but they need to figure out how to make their car sustainable on the tyres, and for god's sake fix their strategy.
that is the biggest issue I see at the moment, in strategy. I do not see rookie oliver bearman being able to cope with the overload of information haas is unloading on kevin and nico because it makes things easier for them. I have never listened to esteban's onboard, I don't know what that is like. even if all three of them, esteban and bearman and haas manage to adjust to each other (realistically we'll end somewhere in the middle, haas doing more of the heavy lifting themselves, but bearman and esteban still having to pick up the slack), this will take time. it won't be tomorrow. I don't even know if it will happen within the first half of the season, or the first season altogether.
I think there is a lot of potential in haas as they currently are. I see them doing well with esteban, kind of their new kevin. guy who has been slowly but surely excluded from the rest of the grid (not talking from a drivers POV, talking teams and media) and rubber stamped as aggressive and dangerous. haas has a history of taking on guys who no one else wants anymore. esteban and ayao have history. I can see them going for long, and doing well.
(I personally do not see bearman staying there for long; either making it and moving on to ferrari or breaking and earning himself the same fate as mick schumacher. haas is not a place for rookies in my opinion--and maybe with all the things I mentioned earlier you can tell why--but that isn't the point here.)
and for kevin and nico? well, kevin is leaving. nico is still adjustable, and no matter how shit sauber will be I think we can continue to expect him to outdrive his car. the only question is if that will be enough to put the car into the points or not.
nico didn't ask kevin to come to audi with him for nothing. it's something fun and light hearted to think about initially, but think on it deeper; when has this ever happened? a driver asking for his teammate to follow him? advocating for it with his team principal? I cannot think of it happening before. kevin makes things easy for nico. he works his way through the problems with the car, lets haas fix them; and nico can do the rest himself, the tiny bits that are adjusted to kevin and not to nico. they also get on well off-track, and I do think we have seen them learn from each other. nico seems less nervous, more open to overtaking. that maturity he gained from kevin isn't going to stop him from being a big baby on the radio; but we see it on track. similarly, we have seen kevin put in some amazing tyre management, and his qualifying pace seems to have also improved.
it is an absolutely coked up combination haas managed to have for these past two seasons. and I am grateful it got me (back) into the sport, and that I got to see it.

Alastor had insisted that you walk back to the hotel, your arm linked under his as he paraded you through the remainder of the city like a proud parent.
You tried to fight feeling grateful for the support since he could have easily teleported you back to the hotel, but you gripped his arm all the same. The adrenaline dump had left you feeling so depleted and all you wanted was to be back in your bed. Snippets of what happened in the alley raced through your mindâs eye, and you shook your head, trying to keep them at bay. Did you really have the capacity to be that enraged? That violent? Apparently you didâŠ
The blood was drying tight on your face, contrasting with the slick, heavy feeling of fabric latching to the skin of your chest. You could feel yourself winding up, overwhelmed and uncomfortable by the mess you were covered in. There wasnât a part of you that felt clean and you were desperate with the need to remove your dress. Tears blurred the edge of your vision when you fixated on the taste in your mouth, barely managing to pull away from Alastor before you fell to your knees and vomited.
Bile, blood, and⊠It was the tipping point.
No longer able to hold it back, the sob you released was closer to a scream. What had you done? You couldnât fight the images flashing in your mind; the sound of screams and flesh tearing, an airway so saturated with blood it bubbled. How it felt when your teeth punctured flesh, no easier than biting into a piece of fruit. Your mouth filling with blood⊠and swallowing. And that wasnât all you had swallowed, was it?
It wasnât until you started frantically tearing at the collar of your dress that Alastor approached from behind you, grabbing your wrists easily in his large hands.
âNow, now, that simply wonât do,â he chided cooly in your ear, radio static gone, his presence large and stable behind you. âI thought a walk might help you to calm down, but at least you managed to save this episode from prying eyes. Be a big girl now and stop crying, weâre nearly home.â
You couldnât see through the tears as he pulled you up to your feet, his hands releasing you as soon as you were standing. A throb of pain rocked your head and you choked out a final sob, trying to steady your breath as you rubbed your burning, swollen eyes.Â
Why was he being so patient with you? He had been in a good mood ever since he found you in the alley, not even bothered by the fact that the clothes you had been sent to pick up were soiled and needed to be returned to the cleaners. And how had he even found you in the first place? Was he following you?Â
âOh, my dear, you look like the stuff of nightmares!â Alastor said in his usual static, not sounding at all sorry for you. Hell, he probably meant it as a compliment. âRemind me to ask what that poor creature did to earn your wrath.â
With that, he hooked your arm again and led you up the hill.
⧠⧠⧠⧠⧠â§
âWhat the fuck happened to you?!â Angel shouted from the bar when you entered the lobby. Husk nearly dropped the glass in his hand, but managed to recover, his face pale.
Thankfully, your audience was just the two of them. You wouldnât have known what to do if everyone had been there to see you in this state. Dread came over you then, thinking of what it will be like to finally stand in front of a mirror. Your empty stomach churned.
âNot to worry, Angel, the blood isnât hers. Poor thing ran into a bit of trouble running errands, but thatâs all been taken care of, hasnât it?â Alastor cooed, resting his hand on your shoulder as he peered down at you.
âWell donât just stand there, let her get cleaned up before anyone else sees! Nifftyâs gonna have a fucking fit when she finds the mess on that carpet,â Husk said to Alastor, shaking his head in exasperation.Â
Alastorâs fingers dug into you at being rebuked, but you were more focused on the muted plop sounds of blood falling to the carpet from the laundry bag. Had it really just been an hour since you had picked it up? You were so tired it was hard to believe that it was still only morning.
âYeah, donât worry, toots. We wonât tell no one about your, uh⊠day out,â Angel said delicately, raising his hand with a suave smile. âScoutâs honor. Though I gotta say, I think you look fuckinâ badass. Whoever it was got what was coming to âem.â
You huffed out a small laugh, managing to give him a weak smile before Alastor enveloped you both in shadow.
⧠⧠⧠⧠⧠â§
Angel and Husk watched as you and Alastor disappeared, giving themselves a moment until they felt like it was safe enough for them to talk again.
âSo⊠what the actual fuck, am I right?â Angel half-laughed, taking a swig from his glass. âI think she fuckinâ ate somebody.â
Husk hummed, nodding his head slightly in agreement. âDefinitely not impossible. I just hope he didnât put her up to it.â
âYou really think heâd do somethinâ like that, Husk? I mean, sure, heâs been bossinâ her around but⊠forcinâ her to eat someone? Seems extreme.âÂ
Husk sighed, giving him a defeated look. Angel shook his head, eyebrow peaked in disbelief. Ignoring the phone buzzing in his pocket, he finished his drink.
⧠⧠⧠⧠⧠â§
Despite how much you had been looking forward to it, it felt strange to be back in your room. Everything was the same as how youâd left it, but it almost felt like nothing here belonged to you anymore. The room was so still, quiet except for the sounds of Alastor rooting around in your ensuite bathroom. What he could possibly be looking for, you didnât know, nor did you really care. You were so tempted to just collapse on the bedâŠ
The shower turned on and you sighed, closing your eyes to enjoy the soothing sound it made. It was a peace short-lived, your eyes flying open when you felt fingers at the back of your neck undo the button of your collar, followed quickly by cool air against your spine as Alastor unzipped you. You stiffened and moved away, turning to face him, bringing your arms up to keep the dress from slipping off your shoulders to the floor.
The rebuttal died in your throat when he laughed, stepping towards you in your retreat.
âTesty, arenât we? I was merely trying to help, and this is the thanks I get?âÂ
His eyes narrowed when you moved farther away in response. Would he ever stop toying with you?Â
âAlastor, please, Iâm too tired for this,â you pleaded, glancing at the bathroom behind you as you fought back a fresh wave of tears. You knew he wouldnât like it if you started crying again.Â
âWhich is exactly why Iâm trying to help! Surely, you arenât insinuating that my intentions were anything but courteous?â He said it casually enough but you could feel the threat veiled underneath as he continued his way to you. âSeeing how my clothes need laundering again, I figured youâd want me to take the dress as well. It was a gift, after all.â
âIâll take it myself,â you tried to say evenly, looking away from him. He was hovering over you now, effectively making you feel small. âAnd I didnât think you wereââ
He tipped your chin to look up at him and licked the pad of his thumb on his free hand. You stood frozen stiff as he used it to wipe your cheek, not daring to upset him more by pulling away. Somewhere in the back of your mind, the truth of how completely in control he was over you sunk in, killing whatever was left of the hope you had of staying under his radar. Silently, you watched as he brought his thumb back to his mouth, but your breath hitched as he sucked off the residue. The look in his eyes made you want to disappear, and you hoped the tear-streaked mess on your face was able to hide the blush now burning your cheeks.
âSylvie⊠shouldnât you be getting in the shower? Or is wasting water another bad habit of yours?â he said, voice low and face smug.
Without thinking, you jerked your face out of his hand and quickly pulled the dress off, shoving it at his chest. Before he could say another word you were in the bathroom, using all the restraint you had left not to slam the door in his face. Leaning against the door, you could hear him laughing as he made his way out of your room. Finally there was silence, and you slid to the floor with your face in your hands, swallowing against the feeling of your heart in your throat. And worse, you werenât sure if the tightness in your chest was shame⊠or something else.
⧠⧠⧠⧠⧠â§
Niffty was already hard at work removing the blood stains in the lobby, mumbling to herself as Alastor passed through to make his way back to Cannibal Town. Making sure to give Husk a knowing, pompous grin, and receiving a scowl in return, he walked out the hotel. Alastor couldnât recall the last time he had enjoyed himself so much before noon. Whatever else the day had in store he couldnât know, though it would be tough to beat.
The taste that lingered in his mouth was bordering on cruel, a gamble he wasnât sure he had properly hedged the bet of. Regret wasnât something Alastor felt often, if at all, and he would vehemently deny it even if he did. Was it regret he felt at tasting the blood that dried on your face? No. While the blood itself was subpar â it had come from some vile creature, after all â it had been transformed by your skin chemistry and tears, creating a flavor that was robust and surprising. Had it not been for decades of tempering his self-control, Alastor worried briefly in the back of his mind that he might have done something drastic; hence allowing himself just the one taste. And apparently doomed to savor it until opportunity presented itself.Â
He couldnât help passing by the alley as he made his way through the city, unsurprised to see that your victim was still lying there, stripped of clothes and whatever possible valuables he had possessed. It would be at least a week before he recovered from the attack. A thought passed through Alastorâs mind and his antlers grew in response to the idea, mouth curling up in a fanged, sinister grin. Passersby ran away in horror.
It wasnât until Alastor walked into the dry cleaners that the armor of his good mood chipped. Of all the fiends in Hell, Valentino was the least of whom he ever expected to run into here. Cannibal Town wasnât a sanctuary in the true sense, but its culture did manage to deter most of the demons Alastor deemed undesirable. A peace he was not willing to part with. Though clearly someone had tipped Valentino off about how to blend in here, as he was without his gaudy trademark robe, instead donning a shockingly respectable black suit.
Alastor had no grudge with Valentino, he simply just didnât respect him. Getting sinners to sign themselves over to you in promise of fame was so trite. How Valentino could be proud to call himself an Overlord was a mystery, unless he was truly that shameless. Or more likely, from what Alastor had overheard Angel saying to others in passing, oblivious. Both seemed correct. While Alastor could suffer a fool, anyone who would bend under Voxâs will really wasnât worthy of his concern or energy.Â
Valentino turned at the ringing of the bell over the door, with what could only be described as a shit-eating grin as he took in the sight of The Radio Demon.
âWell fuck me, if it isnât the big, brave hero! I thought Adam sent you to Super Hell, but I guess you would be too stubborn to die,â Valentino said haughtily, taking a drag off his cigarette. âHowâs the wound, flaco?â
Internally Alastor bristled, but he maintained his facade of nonchalance. It wasnât surprising that the Vees had found out about what happened between him and Adam. Of course it irritated him all the same, considering that the battle between the two of them wasnât quite public knowledge. For now, all Alastor could do was keep the fact that the Vees knew in his back pocket and work on a plan of action to counteract it, should need arise.
âWound is a bit strong, Valentino, but as they say: what doesnât kill you makes you stronger! Youâre too kind, inquiring after my health,â Alastor responded jovially, though the smile on his face was cold and menacing. âI must say, I never thought Iâd see you here. I didnât think Cannibal Town would be an ideal place for you to⊠scout.â
Valentino scoffed through a strained smile. âNo shit. There are a lot of kinks out there, but âragtime cannibal freaksâ isnât one of them.â He paused to take another drag, continuing as he exhaled red smoke, âBut this is the only place that can actually get all the stains out of my shit. Looks like Iâm not alone in that department. Busy morning?â He gave a pointed look at the bloody laundry bag hanging off Alastorâs arm.
âYou could say that,â Alastor teased, finally making his way up to the counter. The employee took the bag with a smile and removed the suit from its paper covering. Your dress was hanging in an armoire back in Alastorâs suite. He never intended to get it laundered. âSend my regards to Velvette. I havenât had the chance to tell her how much I enjoyed her input at the last meeting you were apparently too busy to attend.â
Before the moth demon could say anything his cell phone rang, and Valentino answered as he gave Alastor the finger in response, opening the door to leave. âWhat do you mean, Donny hasnât fucking showed up yet?!â
And then he was gone, yelling at his phone in the middle of Cannibal Town. Bold.

When you woke up your room was dark, save for the light of a sconce near your door, the throbbing in your forehead making itself immediately known. The headache wasnât surprising considering how much you had cried, nor was the pang of hunger you felt. You didnât feel ready to eat anything yet though, but you definitely needed to get some water in your system.
Slowly, you got yourself out of bed, pausing for a moment to breathe through the stiffness in your body. Even when you had fled from Alastor earlier, your bathroom had never seemed as far away as it did now. It wasnât until you were practically in front of it that you noticed the red dress hanging from your bathroom door, a note peaking out from the left pocket of the white, ruffled apron attached to its waist. It was a brief message, but impactful all the same.Â
I believe red suits you best. - Alastor

Benny x Reader
A/N: first off, want to say this is my first time not only writing a Benny fic, but also writing something different to my usual stuff. So please be kind, as I am terrified to post this haha.
I have been thinking about this idea, and possible series, for over a week. So I finally bit the bullet and wrote out the first part. It's more of a set up for the reader, as I want to make this a series. As well, I left out places and such, but tried to do it in away that its not bad. Only because I'm from Australia and don't really know much with America, only what I've seen in movies and TV shows.
If it is not really liked, I will take it down. But if anyone is interested, I am happy to keep going. I have two more parts kind of planned out. But there is a few idea's I'm not 100% sure of. So if anyone want to talk Benny and these ideas, please message me.
Alright, I guess on to the story then...
âTell me about the first time you met Benny?â Danny asked moving his microphone towards you.
You were sitting on your couch, lit smoke in hand. âHonestly, the first time I saw Benny, that was something. He saw me more then I really saw himâ.
âWhat did he say to you? Or what did you say to him?â Danny asked adjusting the recorder.
You chuckled. âWe never said anything to each other, well I said something but it wasnât to him. You see Iâd just gotten back from living with my Aunt for over three years. Iâd gone to live with her when I was nineteen, prior to that for the last ten years the woman had been on my dads case. She believed a man couldnât raise a girl. My old man wouldnât listen to her. So I grew up a tomboy, eventually he entertained her requestâ.
You took a drag from the cigarette between your fingers, before releasing the smoke. âI can tell you living with that woman was torture. Along with her daughter, who had just gotten engaged when I arrived. They both took to teaching what is expected of a lady, how to dress, walk and talk. The only way I survived it was when I made friends with some locals there that raced motorcycles. When my Aunt found out, she flipped out, sent me back after I wouldnât change my ways...â
~~~
How you managed to pack up three years in two large suitcases surprised you. But here they were, back in your old room on your families farm. The room looked just as you had left it, only a tad dusty from half assed cleaning courtesy of your dad and brother. Looking around brought back memories. Your best friend pushed past you and took a seat on your bed.
âCan see the males of the house donât know how to clean properlyâ she commented running her hand over your bedding.
âUnfortunately not. If they did, along with being able to cook, then women would not be requiredâ you laughed lifting and bringing a suitcase over, before dropping it on the bed.
âAgreed" she laughed with you.
You began to unpack the suitcase, which had mostly shoes, tops, bottoms, personal items. Once that one was done you removed it from its place before replacing it with the second suitcase. This one had a few more tops and bottoms, but mostly your dresses.
âLilly, do you mind getting the dresses out and I will hang them up?â You asked her as you put away the last of your tops and bottoms.
âSureâ was her response before taking out the first dress and handing it out to you.
You thanked her while taking the garment from her hands, putting it on a hanger and then placing it in your closet. While doing this together Lilly filled you in on the town gossip, along with that of people you had gone to school with.
âYou remember Anne, right?â â You nodded your head â âshe has turned into a real Miss Prim and Proper! No doubt itâs her mummyâs doing, dolling up her daughter in hopes for her to catch a big fish!â
You laughed. âReally? You believe her mum would do that?â
Lilly gave you a pointed look. âJust about every girls mum wants her daughter to land the perfect catch. They practically raise girls to be perfect house wives. My mum done it with me, itâs only half stuckâ she laughed pulling out another dress.
You felt a pain in your heart at your friends words, for you didnât have the luxury of growing up with a mum. You only knew your mum till you were eight, before she died. You love your dad but you missed your mum, and all the stuff you missed out on learning from her. Thankfully Lillyâs mum was a great second mum, not to mention your Aunt when she would come and visit would also give you a little of what you missed out on.
Lilly sighed holding your dress to her body, âIâm so jealous of all the lovely dresses you haveâ.
You smiled softly. âThey are nice, but not ideal for a farmâ.
âWell of course not! But when we go to town or parties, they will be perfect! Maybe I could borrow one or two sometime, specially when I have a hot dateâ Lilly asked leaning toward you batting her eyelashes.
You laughed taking the dress. âSure, but make sure they are cleaned before returning them. Donât want any suspicious stains on themâ.
She gave you a disgusted look retrieving another dress. âI donât know what youâre talking about, Iâm a ladyâ Lilly proclaimed sweetly.
You laughed taking the dress from her hands, while she gave you an offender look before she in turn laughed, not hurt by anything you said or done. That was your friendship, completely open and honest. Since you were both children you got on like a house on fire. You told each other everything and not once judged each other. Lilly was the sister you never had.
Once you had finished unpacking that was when you heard the revs of a motorcycle. You looked to Lilly, just as she looked to you. Without saying anything the both of you left your room and headed outside, hearing the revs again you figured it was coming from the old barn away from the house. Both giggling at the intrigue, you both headed for the barn. You were the one to put your weight into opening one of the barn doors, wiping your hands on your jeans walking into the space, Lilly right behind you.
Before you was your older brother, Andy with a racing bike. He looked up when realizing he wasnât alone, wiping his hand on an old rag. Once his eyes landed on you did he smile brightly before pocketing the rag and coming over to engulf you in a big hug, which lifted you off the ground.
You laughed. âWhat a great welcome homeâ.
Andy laughed swinging you around. âWelcome home kid. Iâve missed you!â
You hit his shoulder telling him to put you down, which he did reluctantly. âYou saw me a few months agoâ.
âStill missed you!â He laughed.
You shook your head at your older brother, before eyes going back to the racer. âProject of yours?â You asked as you walked toward the bike.
Both Andy and Lilly followed you. Andy took the place he had originally been when you entered the barn, while you moved to the other side of the bike, Lilly chose to stand back. You looked over the bike, admiring itâs beauty. Motorcycles was the one thing you and your brother had in common. It was a great way to bond together when you were a teenager.
âWhen did you start racing?â You asked running a hand over the bikes seat. âDoes dad know?â
Andy rolled his eyes. âYeah he knows. Iâve been racing on and off for seven or so monthsâ.
âHe has ever since joining the Vandalsâ added Lilly.
You looked to your friend before back to your brother with a raised eyebrow. âReally? The Vandals huh? When were you going to tell me, hmm?â
Picking up a tool, Andy went back to adjusting something on the bike that you couldnât see while shrugging his shoulders. âDoes it matter?â
âYou usually tell me these things Andy, I feel hurt you didnât mention itâ you said with a touch of sadness. âAnd dads fine with it?â
He laughed. âOf course, heâs fine with it. Since he knows most of the guys in the clubâ.
You nodded. âAlright.â.
âDonât worry (Y/N), Uncle Johnny keeps an eye out for his boysâ Lilly spoke up, knowing you worried about your brother.
Yes, you recall Lilly mentioning her Uncle Johnny, and that you had met him a few times when he had stopped off at Lillyâs house, was the leader of The Vandals. He seemed like a nice man, always looking out for his family. You also recalled her mentioning the club, but you hadnât been around when it turned into a riding club, just when it was in the early stages of a racing club.
After that you and Lilly chatted with Andy while he worked on the bike. The atmosphere had returned to a happy and fun one. You learnt about what had been going on with Andy and the farm, along with your dad, who you still hadnât seen yet. You couldnât wait to see your old man, you had seen him a few months back when you saw Andy, but you missed the time with him. You had missed both men in your life. But now you were back where you belonged.
âThereâ sighed Andy dropping the tool in his hand and turning the bike off, âI think that will do for now. Just have to test herâ.
âHer?â Both you and Lilly questioned looking at Andy.
âYeah, herâ he replied moving to kick up the bikes kickstand and holding the bike up. âItâs been nothing but temperamental and trouble, just like a femaleâ. His tone was teasing, telling you he was joking around.
âSounds more like a maleâ retorted Lilly with a laugh.
Andy shot her a dark look before laughing himself. You shook your head laughing at the two of them. Eventually he admitted defeat when he and Lilly went back and forth a bit more.
Andy began to move the bike around and then out the barn door, both you and Lilly following behind him. Out in the sunlight you can see the bike better, watching as Andy gave it another look over. You stepped up to him and watch him. Once he was happy with the bike, Andy was about to get on when you stopped him.
âCould I give it ago?â You asked softly. Youâd ridden bikes before when you were a teen. Plus when you were living with your Aunt, which may or may not have upset her.
He looked at you unsure. âI donât know kid. She hasnât gotten all the kinks worked out of her. I still have this issue with her taking off when you go up in gears, she just accelerates and can be hard to handleâ.
You nodded but smiled. âI promise to be careful and not go too fast. Please, can I?â You gave him the biggest puppy dog eyes you could.
Andy wasnât sure if he should let you, but Lilly came to your defense. âCome on Andy, you know she will be careful. Itâs just a few laps, it wonât hurtâ.
Reluctantly he agreed and you shot Lilly a big smile, which she returned. So with his consent, you grasped the handle before moving to swing your leg over the bike, and sat down taking hold of the other handle. Andy stepped up and walked you through starting her up, you knew what to do but let him instruct you. He went over everything; front brake lever, throttle, clutch lever, gearshift lever and rear brake pedal. With his instructions he stepped back from you and let you go.
You started out slow, going around in circles before both your brother and friend. Lilly was cheering you on, which made you laugh. Gradually you picked up the speed and at Andyâs words, you did wider laps.
âYou look so cool!â Called Lilly. Which you rolled your eyes at.
âAlright kidâ Andy called. âWhy donât you take her back up behind the barn, then down toward the house and then turn right to take the long way back to the barn, get her speed up a bit moreâ.
You nodded giving him a solute, which made Lilly laugh and your brother call out for you to keep your hands on the handlebars. You did as he instructed before turning around and riding up behind the barn. As you looped back around you revved up the bike, and as you straightened up and headed for the house, you shifted the gears. Unfortunately the little issue your brother warned you about decided to come forth as you gained speed. The bike jerked with the acceleration, you held onto the handlebars tightly doing everything to keep the bike in check.
Andy noticed the change in your body and figured out what had happened, panic setting in he began calling out to you. He couldnât do much more than that. He prayed you could handle the bike, and didnât want to think of what could happen to you.
All the while before you had gotten on the bike, none of you were aware that your dad had returned home. Along with him were two men from The Vandals, the older male had dark hair while the younger dirty blonde hair, with stubble to match. They were discussing some business before heading around to the back of the house, when they all caught the sounds of a bike.
âTake it Andyâs working on his racerâ the older male commented to your dad.
He laughed. âYeah, the boys determined to smoke the competition Johnnyâ.
Johnny laughed. âHeâs a good kid and rider, no doubt he will beat themâ.
The Three started to make their way around to behind the house. They all looked up to the barn to see the bike take off up behind the old building. Your dad noticed two figures standing by the barn, one looked to be Andy, which confused the man. He wondered who was on the bike then. That was when the bike came back into view, heading towards the house. The shouting from the barn caught everyoneâs attention, worry setting into your dad.
You had been so focused on staying in control of the bike you hadnât noticed the three figures walking into your path until last minute. Upon seeing them you quickly dropped the gears on the bike before hitting the back brakes. With the light weight of the bike you managed to turn it right, planting your right foot to the ground and pulling off a slide stop. Dirt kicked up at your manoeuvre, you sat there a little stunned as the bike idled away.
You blinked a few times before turning to look at the males before you. But mostly to your dad, who looked just as stunned as you.
âAh, hi dadâ you said slowly. âDidnât know you were homeâ.
He looked at you, to the bike you sat on and then back to you. âWhat are you doing?! You shouldnât be riding that!â
You flinched at his slightly raised voice. âI was testing the bike for Andy...â
He shook his head. âDid he tell you about the issue it has with acceleration?â â You nodded â âand he still let you ride it!?â
âWell I promised to be carefulâ you replied.
Your old man shook his head. âYou shouldnât havenât gotten on it (Y/N), what if you had crashed! Turn it off and get off it, now!â
âBut I didnât crash, I think I handled her pretty wellâ you defended as you turned off the bike before getting off it.
By this time both Andy and Lilly had jogged down to the scene. Your dad turned and began to have words with your brother, while he took the bike from you.
âSeriously Andy, I thought youâd know better than to let anyone on that bike before getting it sorted outâ he said with a deep sigh.
Andy looked down while apologizing.
âItâs not all his fault, I wanted to ride itâ you came to your brothers defense.
âYes, well Iâm disappointed in both of you. What if something had happened to you? Your brother would have to live with thatâ he guilt tripped you.
âI am sorry dad. But I kinda knew what I was doing...â you said softly not looking at the man before you.
That was when you noticed the other two on lookers. Suddenly you felt embarrassed that both of them were witnessing you and your brother getting a scolding.
While from the time you had stopped and until you finally noticed them, the younger of the two males had been looking at you. He was surprised when you had slid stopped the bike you were on. It had been like an Angel had slid before him. He was impressed by how you had not only handled the bike, but also your dad. But found you cute when you got embarrassed by him and Johnny. He could tell there was more to you, and it was fascinating.
Before you could really take in the two Vandals, your dad sighed once more. âAndy, take the bike back to the barn. (Y/N), go back into the house with Lillyâ.
Lilly walked up to you and linked arms with you and began to pull you to the house, reluctantly you let her do so. All the while Lilly softly comment on the events. But before disappearing into the house, you watched your brother push his bike back up to the barn, then you looked to your dad and the older male watching your brother. Looking to the younger Vandal you saw him looking at you, and not to were the other two beside him was looking. But then Lilly pulled you into the house, severing eye contact to the young Vandal.
âWhat was that Fred?â Johnny finally questioned.
Your dad sighed. âThat was my daughter. She got back today from her Auntsâ.
Johnny whistled. âMight have your hands full with that one. But I will admit, that stop was impressiveâ.
Fred shook his head. âDonât let her hear that. Donât want to encourage herâ he laughed darkly. âCome on, the sheds this wayâ.
Your dad started to walk again, while the other males followed. Johnny continued to ask about you, which your dad filled in. He said how heâd lost your mum when you were eight. How he did his best to raise you, all the while his sister-in-law kept hassling him about letting her take you in and raise you.
âThe old battle-axe didnât think I could raise a girlâ Fred said with a sigh. âShe was kinda right. I raised a tomboyâ.
Johnny laughed while the other male smiled. âNothinâ wrong with thatâ comment Johnny.
âI agreeâ said Fred, âbut (Y/N) missed out on a lot not having a mum around. Thankfully Lilly's mum was there when it came to female thingsâ.
Johnny nodded before following Fred into the shed. The younger male decided to wait outside, which was fine with the pair. Walking over to a fence before the shed, the young male lent back on the post, retrieving a pack of cigarettes from his jacket pocket. Taking out a cigarette, he pocketed the packet and pulled out his lighter. With the cigarette between his lips he sparked the lighter and lit it. Taking the first drag he put away the lighter, eyes looking back at your house as he released the smoke into the air.
Honestly, he can say he had never seen a female ride a bike before. Usually the females that were around The Vandals were always on the back of one. So seeing you handle that bike like you had was not only impressive but also a turn on. He hoped to cross paths with you again sometime soon.
Johnny came out of the shed with Fred. âCome on Benny, were done hereâ.
Moving from the fence post, Benny followed both men back to the front of the house and where their bikes were. Once on their bikes, they both started them up. They sat there for a few minutes, which allowed Benny a few more drags from his smoke before tossing it off to the side. He and Johnny began to move their bikes back to turn around, when Benny got a glance of both you and Lilly by the window. With a small smile, they both took off, heading back into town and to the bar.
~~~
âAs I said, it was something. Me embarrassed by my old man having words with me. I didnât really take Benny in at the timeâ you stated putting out your cigarette.
âYou said Benny noticed you more?â Danny asked checking his recorder.
âYeah, he told me so later on. Heâd call me his Angel on wheelsâ you laughed.
âSo the next time you saw Benny, you finally spoke to each other?â
You laughed more at his words. âUnfortunately, no. We might have if the time was right. But that second time I saw Benny, I really saw him...â
A/N: please don't hate me for this lol. I am also sorry for the use of (Y/N).

Hi Hilary I know youâre only replying to so many politics asks â I can only imagine how many are sitting in your inbox rn â and youâve already been such a comfort to all us folks whoâve really appreciated your insight time and time again! But I did want to ask about all the posts Iâve seen more recently about signing petitions and reaching out to the White House for a recount. I feel like at this point weâre really reaching â everyoneâs talking about how thereâs evidence suggesting cheating on Trumpâs part, and while I would never be surprised by that, I have yet to see any trusted sources backing those claims. It feels like weâre long past that point, even though the results came in so much faster than I ever expected, but I was wondering if you have an opinion on all that? Take care in the meantime, and thank you for all that you do!
I will make this the last politics ask for the night, and hopefully for at least a few days (no promises, though), but --
This, most unfortunately, is not going to work. For one, Biden/the White House cannot request a recount in state-level races. There are strict rules governing who can and cannot request those, it's usually either triggered by a certain percentage margin or requested by the candidate, and then it also has to be paid for. Kamala has given her concession speech and the Democrats are not going to go down election-denialism rabbit holes. It is hugely unfortunate that the worst people in the world who launched a coup after losing last time are the ones to benefit from it, but... yeah. It just sucks all the way around.
The election interference happened on the day with all the Russian-linked fake bomb threats in blue areas of swing states, the ballot boxes set afire, etc etc. I fear we have only begun to see how bad it will be in this and any future elections, as with many other things, and the reports of people's ballots disappearing or not being received etc are obviously disturbing. But there is, as you say, scant evidence aside from social media chatter backing this up, people are angry and hurt and looking for something to make it not be real (me too, man) and that's easier than thinking that half the country simply shrugged and chose fascism because of grocery prices and trans panic. And it sucks absolute shit, but this is what happened. It happened broadly consistently across the country and was a symbol of the anti-incumbency that's been going on since Covid (New Zealand's liberal government also fell victim to this and elected reactionary conservatives, so this is a thing). We can split hairs about this or that policy decision by the Democrats, and believe me there needs to be a messaging revamp and the firing of basically every Democratic Corporate Consultant TM, but we need to face up to the truth that many, many ordinary American people chose this. They wanted it. And if we are going to do anything about it, we have to reckon with that fact instead of looking for conspiratorial excuses. For one thing, that's what those assholes do constantly, and fuck them.
Likewise, results came in across the country much faster due to the fact that people once more voted largely in person on Election Day, and not early/by mail as they did in 2020. They came in largely matching the expected timelines given by election officials of both parties beforehand. If there is basis to all this missing-ballot stuff, then yes, obviously, it should be investigated (though I have very low confidence that it will be if they are already making preparations to close the federal cases against Trump). But at this point, as you say, this is not something that has logistical legs and is going to undermine a lot more. It sucks. Sometimes I wish we didn't have to be the adults in the room and could just be whiny cheating shitstains like the Republican Fascist Party -- it seems to work out for them that people want Democratic policies and then elect Republicans to punish Democrats for not instantly and perfectly implementing all of them. The exit polls largely matched with what the results turned out to be. It absolutely sucks almighty shit, but it's true.
I am old enough to remember George W. Bush getting reelected in 2004, and it sucked, though not as much as this just because Trump is so crazy and extreme and the GOP has abandoned even the basic pretence of democracy and decency. It's a race to the bottom and through to the center of the earth for them now, especially since they have literally no incentive to reform or do anything but double down on their extremism. Why would they? They just won a major election and got popular legitimacy, something the Republicans have lacked for a long time. This is only the second time they've won the popular AND electoral vote (the first likewise being 2004) in the 21st century. We got the blue trifecta in 2020 because we benefited from the same desire for reversal of course that the Republicans are getting now. In and of itself, this does not indicate fraud. Terrible things about America and the future, yes, but not fraud.
So: Yes. We need to focus on the things we can control and prepare ourselves for what is still to come. It will be hard and it will suck and as I keep saying, it was completely avoidable, but people didn't want to avoid it. They're now going to learn painfully why they should have, but we can't do anything about that either. It is very much going to be a case of picking your battles, drastically limiting your daily news consumption, and a lot of other protective measures, and that is where, at least IMHO, we should focus our effort.
Take care. â€ïž

A Night to Remember | Monkey D. Luffy
Part 1
Summary: After a year, fate brings you back to Luffy. He's mad at you, but not for long.
Warnings: 18+ Minors DNI. Smut, p in v unprotected, mean Luffy ? quicky kinda rushed ? blowjob (I'm bad with warnings)
A/N: Finally posting part 2, sorry for the waiting but I didnât feel like writing during school. But yeah here we are with a really bad part 2 English is not my first language so I'm sorry if there are any mistakes. (My requests are open if wanted)
Luffy couldn't go a single night without dreaming about you, even though it had been months since your first encounter. You seemed like a haunting presence, always on his mind.
Your memory clung to him like a persistent specter, visiting his thoughts each night without fail. No matter how many adventures he embarked upon, your image remained a constant presence, an enigmatic ghost that he couldn't shake.
One evening, you and your adventurous crew found yourselves at a bustling waterfront bar. Just as was your customary style, you confidently ordered a round of drinks, setting a lively and infectious tone for the evening. The crew gathered around a large wooden table, laughter and chatter filling the air as you shared stories of your recent exploits.Â
However, fate had other plans in store for you. A moment later, you excused yourself from the table and headed towards the restroom. As you walked through the bustling bar, you couldn't help but notice a pair of familiar faces at the bar itselfâa fiery orange-haired girl and a boy with vivid green hair, deep in conversation.
Continuing on your path, you soon arrived at a secluded booth where a lone boy sat, his head lowered, a distinctive straw hat atop his head. And then, like a lightning bolt, it hit you.
 As you approached the booth, a strange sense of déjà vu washed over you. The boy with the straw hat remained unaware of your presence, his attention focused on the worn map spread out before him. His face was partly obscured, but his unmistakable trademark hat confirmed your suspicions.
It was Luffy.
Your heart raced as you stood there, grappling with a whirlwind of emotions. A year had passed since your first encounter, and you had often wondered if you'd cross paths with him again. Now, here he was, mere inches away, seemingly oblivious to your presence.
You reached out and gently took the straw hat from his head, placing it on your own. The boy lifted his head to gaze at you. He raised his head to look at you, but didn't say a word. It was almost surreal.
You couldn't believe your eyes. After all this time, you had reunited with him when you thought it might never happen.
"Monkey D Luffy," you whispered, tracing your fingers gently along his face, taking in all his distinct features.
His eyes squinted as he tried to make sense of the situation. Then, it hit him like a tidal waveâthe face he could never forget, the face that had haunted his days and nights.
He stared at you, disappointment and disbelief mingling in his expression, shaking his head. He couldn't fathom how, after you had left him, you were now standing before him once more.
âY/N," Luffy muttered your name, his voice laced with bitterness and hurt.Â
Luffy's gaze remained locked onto yours, his eyes a turbulent mix of anger and confusion. The once warm and inviting spark that had ignited between you two was now a smoldering ember of resentment.
"I didn't expect to see you again," Luffy said coldly, his voice lacking the usual enthusiasm. "Especially not here."
You could sense the bitterness in Luffy's words, and your heart sank. The reunion wasn't at all what you had hoped for. You knew you had a lot of explaining to do, but it seemed that Luffy's emotions were too raw for a calm conversation. You took a deep breath, trying to find the right words to mend what had been broken.
"Luffy," you began, your voice filled with sincerity, "I know this is unexpected, and I understand if you're angry. But please, let me explain."
You pulled up a chair and sat down across from him, the straw hat still resting on your head. The bar's lively atmosphere seemed to dim around you as you focused on Luffy.
"I never wanted to disappear from your life like I did," you continued, your gaze unwavering. "After that day we met, I had to leave for reasons I couldn't control. It tore me apart, Luffy. I never stopped thinking about you, dreaming about you. You've been a constant presence in my thoughts."
Luffy's anger seemed to waver as he listened to your words. His brows furrowed, but he didn't interrupt.
"I've been searching for you, Luffy," you confessed. "I've traveled across islands and oceans, hoping to find you again. And now, fate has brought us back together."
Luffy's expression softened slightly, and he leaned back in his chair, still regarding you with a mix of emotions.
"I don't expect you to forgive me right away," you continued. "But please know that I never wanted to hurt you. I care about you more than I can express. I want to make things right, to be a part of your adventures again, if you'll have me."
A heavy silence hung between you, broken only by the distant echoes of laughter and music from the bustling bar. Luffy remained silent, his thoughts hidden behind a mask of contemplation. But then, without a word, he stood up, his hand reaching for the hat perched on your head.
Startled, you rose abruptly, calling out his name. "Luffy!" you exclaimed, rushing to your feet and following him as he walked toward a dimly lit corridor.
He paused in the middle of the corridor, his back to the door, which he pushed open as you drew closer. You couldn't decipher his emotions, but you followed him into the room. He stopped, towering over you, his face mere inches from yours.
"Talk to me," you whispered, your voice filled with yearning, your eyes locked onto his, searching for a glimmer of understanding "PleaseâŠ"
Luffy's gaze shifted to the neckline of your top, and his lips parted just enough for him to inhale sharply. Before you could react, however, he closed the distance, kissing you passionately. Your hands moved automatically, wrapping themselves firmly around his broad shoulders while his arms snaked around your waist. He held you as if you would disappear any second.
Your lips moved against his as your heart pounded fiercely within your chest, unable to resist him. You felt his tongue slowly slip between your lips, and you groaned softly as you lost yourself in the passion of the kiss, allowing him to guide you.Â
Finally, you both came to a stop, panting heavily. For several moments, neither of you said a word. You looked up to meet his piercing stare, and it sent chills throughout your body as memories flashed in your headâof that night. All the feelings of longing, love, desperation, and desire rushed back like an avalanche, threatening to crush you underneath its weight. You struggled to remain composed, yet Luffy didn't seem to be affected one bit by the intensity of your emotions.Â
"You want to make it up to me ?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. His eyes burned, pleading you to agree.
 You nodded in reply, knowing full well that whatever he offered, you would follow regardless. ""Tell me how." You breathed shakily, your fingers lightly grazing the side of his face.Â
 Luffy gazed into your eyes, his gaze unreadable. "Get on your knees" he demanded.
Despite your reluctance, your feet immediately obeyed his instructions, and you knelt at his feet. He grabbed hold of your chin, tilting your face upward until your eyes met. His hand lingered on your cheek, brushing a strand of hair away from your eye.
 Your eyelashes fluttered ever so slightly as your breathing slowed to a steady rhythm. Your hands went to the waistband of his shorts, slowly pushing them downwards until they fell to the floor. Your fingertips grazed over his skin, feeling the warmth emanating from beneath. Luffy's cheeks grew redder with each passing moment, his eyes darkening even further as you stroked his lower half. He tried to keep his seriousness but you knew he wouldn't last long; soon, he'd be overwhelmed by your touch.
His eyes flickered shut, his breathing growing ragged as your fingers made their way slowly towards his member. With your fingers wrapped around his length, you began to pump slowly, savoring the sensation of his arousal pulsating under your touch. Luffy moaned quietly , his head falling back as he released a shaky breath.Â
The sounds he made caused a pool of heat to form between your legs as you continued to play with him. You were becoming aroused with each pass of your hand. But it wasn't enough you needed to taste him. You ran your tongue along the tip of his cock, earning another low moan from the raven haired man. You took the shaft into your mouth, sucking gently as you continued to pump him.
"Fuck Y/N," Luffy panted. As he spoke, he gripped your hair tightly. "Keep going."
You complied. You licked his length once more before moving your mouth up and down his erection in small laps, occasionally sucking on his tip and making small noises of pleasure.
Luffy's grip tightened even more. âGod, Y/N,â he groaned. âIf you keep this up, I'M GONNA COME!â
You smirked and resumed pumping him harder. He was getting close. You moved your mouth faster and faster, working him harder with every stroke. Finally, your eyes widened when you felt his seed spurting from his tip, filling your mouth. You swallowed the sticky liquid greedily, swallowing everything, relishing in the feel of him. He growled lowly and pulled you roughly to your feet, placing your front against a table and pressing his chest against your back.Â
"Promise me you will never leave again" he whispered against your ear as his hands roamed down your body, caressing and stroking every inch. His words, spoken so tenderly, struck you deeply.
"Promise me," he repeated more forcefully. His breathing quickened, his erection throbbing painfully against your ass. "Never abandon me again."
"I promise," you replied softly before turning you head to kiss him as you lifted your skirt , eager to feel him touching you again. You let go of the kiss when you felt his knee between your thighs, forcing you to bend forward. He positioned himself, his hardness already poking through your folds, and entered you with one swift movement.
 He pressed his lips against your shoulder and buried his face in the crook of your neck, letting out a shuddery sigh. His hands were tangled in your hair as he thrust in and out of you, keeping his pace slow and gentle . His movements were controlled and precise, and you loved it.
You were surprised by his improvement and wondered if he had been with another woman. But the thought didn't last long as he began to move faster, his hips slamming against you in short bursts.
 You clutched the edge of the table, your teeth gritted as you felt your walls tighten around him, causing him to moan loudly against your neck. His pace increased gradually, and you found yourself moaning in response.
You gasped when he hit the spot inside you that had been waiting for months. Your nails dug into the wood of the table as you squeezed your legs together, your whole body trembling as your climax started to build up. You threw your head back on his shoulder as your orgasm consumed you, taking control of you completely, leaving you vulnerable and weak.
You felt him tense as he released inside you, his hands gripping your hips tightly as he emptied himself into you.
It took a few moments for your mind to catch up with your senses, and you turned to meet Luffy's intense gaze. His eyes bore into yours, a mixture of concern and affection evident in his expression.
"I'm so-" he began, but you hushed him with a tender kiss, not allowing him to finish his sentence.
"I was angry," he confessed in a soft murmur, his lips still lightly brushing against yours.
"You had every right to be," you reassured him as you reached up to lovingly caress his face.
Luffy chuckled warmly as he leaned in, resting his forehead against yours, his arms remaining securely wrapped around you. You closed your eyes, relishing the closeness and the warmth of the moment. The tension that had gripped both of you just moments ago had dissipated, replaced by an overwhelming sense of connection.
"I can be a real idiot sometimes," Luffy admitted, his voice tinged with remorse. He affectionately nuzzled your cheek, planting gentle kisses along your jawline. "But I promise, I'll make it up to you."
A genuine, loving smile crossed your face, easing the turmoil in Luffy's heart. "It's all my fault; I should have never left you," you replied, your voice laced with guilt and remorse. "You don't have to be perfect, Luffy. I love you, flaws and all."
Taken aback by your heartfelt words, Luffy's face lit up with a wide, joyful grin. "You love me?!"
You nodded, a warm smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "With all my heart, Luffy," you confessed, your eyes reflecting the depth of your emotions.
A/N: Hope you liked it, so sorry again for the waiting. I feel like this part is really bad and messy but still hope you enjoyed it a little. I will probably make a part 3 just to finish this collection. Anyways, donât hesitate to give other ideas, my requests are open :)

âbeep, the number you have dialled canât be reached. please try again.â
either you were getting seriously played by this man or he was just seriously dumb.
you shook your head and moved on to call mr.choi. it wasnât the time to be upset over something like this.
the call connected and surely, yunaâs father picked up.
âyn! iâm so sorry, iâm already nearby.â
you bit your lip thinking about how you wouldnât be seeing jeonghan later on like you hoped you would. the mild heavy feeling only piled on cause tomorrow would be the weekend and the weekend meant no work. usually that wouldâve been great news but that man had you in a chokehold somehow.
you wanted to see him.
âno worries! drive safely, see you soon.â
+
seungcheol hurriedly ran to the front door and you immediately saw him since you were at reception while yuna was napping in one of the rooms.
you quickly clicked the button which opened the doors and seungcheol strutted in, âi deeply apologise.â
you shook your head and reassured him that it wasnât a problem, âitâs no worries mr.choi, youâre a busy man.â
you were just about to get yuna but seungcheol stopped you in your tracks.
âhey yn, yunaâs birthday is coming soon and iâm not sure if youâd be interested but iâm sure she would love it if you came to her party this weekend,â he smiled as he handed you an envelop which encased an invitation, âitâs on sunday, sorry for the late notice but i hope you can come!â
you had a confound look on your face but you kindly took the letter, âme? are you sure?â
âof course? yuna adores you,â he spoke with genuine words.
âoh, thatâs touching,â you looked at the envelope and placed it into your bag, âiâll see my schedule.â
+
you were free that faithful sunday.
you took slow steps into the large venue and peered around looking for seungcheol who was really the only person you knew there.
the party was royal themed for yunaâs princess dream so people were dressed extravagantly, it was a shock how well organised the place was. âso this is what you can get with money,â you thought. the room was crowded to say the least and the kids running around only added to the chaos.
you felt so out of place.
you were pretty hesitant to attend in the first place. you were only attending to oblige yunaâs wishes but then again what were you gonna do for the rest of the night?
perhaps you should just wish yuna a happy birthday, leave the gift then leave the place altogether, but just as you were trudging into deep thought, you felt someone pat your back. âyn you came!â seungcheol gleefully acknowledged your presence.
âmr.choi! hi, yea i happened to be free.â you tried your best to engage with the same energy.
âoh hey, you two have met right?â seungcheol asked as he pulled his secretary forward giving a pat to his back.
suddenly the crowds noise seemed to have disappeared.
âjeonghan, right?â you nonchalantly said.
his eyes seemed to widen but he stuck his hand out for a handshake before anyone could notice, âitâs nice to see you again yn!â
you smiled as a silent response before returning your attention to seungcheol, âwhereâs yuna? i want to greet her!â
seungcheolâs hands gripped his secretaryâs shoulders as he lightly pushed him towards you, âjeonghan will bring you to her! heâs like a walking gps for my little girl,â he chuckled.
jeonghan seemed to have an equally shocked reaction but he knew how to hide well.
âoh, alright,â you nodded your head and plastered on a smile.
your smile somehow calmed him down yet at the same time, he felt his heart race.
âokay, this way yn,â he gestured with his hand as he lead the way.
he walked with his back straight, he held his hands at is back having an utmost professional posture.
seungcheol who watched discretely, saw jeonghan leading and you just walking a little behind. he thought you two suited each other. also, heâd never seen jeonghan walk so stiffly and properly.
you fidgeted with the gift box trying to find a comfortable way to hold it. it was kind of bulky so you struggled a bit.
âneed help?â jeonghan halted and extended his arms reaching for the gift after he heard the rummaging in the back.
âno itâs alright,â you softly said. your throat was closing up from the awkwardness of the situation.
you had a passiveness to you that day and jeonghan couldnât tell why. but he continued walking and placed his hands in his pockets trying to find yuna.
eventually you reached her. she was playing with the other kids, some you even recognised from daycare and they instantly ran up to you.
âyn youâre here!â yuna excitedly swung your arm. âi am, happy birthday yuna!â
you sat down on the mini couch yuna had pulled you to and shortly conversed. yuna didnât even question why youâre here, she was just pleased that you were. you showed her the gift you got her and she asked jeonghan to put it on the top of the mountain of gifts the other guests got her. she really treasured you the most.
âyn do you want to play with us?â one of the kids asked.
you felt touched with the kindness and honestly, they were the only ones you could probably stay around with cause itâs not like you knew anyone else here, as sad as that may soundâ but you were admittedly famished so you sort of hesitated. before you could even speak, jeonghan squatted down to their height, âbest we let the guest eat first right? iâm sure yn can play with you later.â
they understood and went back to doing their own thing.
âcare for directions to the buffet?â he stood up and he held out a hand to help you get up.
you looked at his hand then to his eyes. âthat would be appreciated,â you held his hand and got up.
jeonghan started leading the way again but he walked at a pace that allowed him to be beside you.
âhowâve you been?â he asked.
you gave him a puzzled look and he understood why youâd be confused. itâs not like you guys were even acquaintances, he just met you like what, twice? nowâs the third but why would be be concerned about your whereabouts.
but you answered regardless, âiâve been good, you?â
âgood, seungcheolâs business became not-so-busy quite fast,â he chuckled. he was referring to the way it wasnât too hectic at work anymore so seungcheol was able to pick up yuna again as per usual.
you giggled softly, âyea i figured, heâd been the one coming to get yuna recently.â
your âmeet-upsâ with jeonghan had departed as quickly as they came.
by now you both have reached the food service area, âthanks for helping me get around,â you said.
jeonghan looked around the room and back to you, âuhm, i could stay with you tonight? unless you have plans to see someone else.â
if he stayed with you, you wouldnât be alone tonight.
parts of you, mostly the prideful side wanted to reject. you still had a feeling he was just playing you. but perhaps you could just try and oblige to his offer.
you happened to answer quickly, âno one in particular.â
he smiled then tilted his head to the food, âwell get your food, iâll find us a table.â
+
you two were seated at the table. it was a circular table and it was set in the corner of the room so there wasnât much attention set on you two. there would occasionally be people coming up to jeonghan and sparking a conversation but he was quick to end it.
âhow do you like the celebration?â he asked.
you just took a bite of your food but you covered your mouth and answered, âitâs a new experience actually, iâve never seen such an extravagant party. itâs amazing what you can do with money.â
jeonghan laughed at the way you described it, âseungcheol loves yuna a lot.â
âheâs a kind man, yuna is lucky,â you said before taking another bite.
there was a silence for a few seconds. jeonghan took a sip from his drink as if it was beer. he sighed biting his lip thinking of things to talk about.
you continued to eat waiting for another conversation starter to come to your head.
but there was something you two wanted to talk about.
and jeonghan happened to beat you to it.
âhey i wanted to talk about that day, i gave you my number but you still called seungcheol first. whyâs that? still donât trust me?â he said with a teasing tone.
you were baffled. âexcuse me?â you said clearly confused.
âwhat?â
you placed your utensils down and faced him, âi called you but the line didnât work.â
âyou sure that wasnât just an error on your side, like maybe you mistyped it?â he furrowed his eyebrows.
âi tried three times.â you calmly said.
âwow, wanted to see me huh?â he cheekily spoke.
âi was working overtime and someone had to pick up yuna!?â you whisper-screamed.
he scooted his chair closer to you, âmaybe you didnât pay your phone bills.â
âthen how did the call to mr.choi connect?â you firmly spoke.
âthen you probably typed my phone number incorrectly,â he went back to the first point making you laugh.
he wasnât being arrogant about it, it was more of a playful banter. but at the same time, was he seriously trying to gaslight you into thinking you entered the number incorrectly?
âcome, show me the contact you typed in,â he rested his arm on the back of your chair, getting closer to your vicinity.
you huffed and took the business card from out form your phone case then placed it side by side with the contact typed in your phone.
suddenly itâs as if jeonghan had seen a ghost.
you tilted your head, âso?â
âholy shit the printing company got it wrong.â
âwhat?â you blurted loudly.
he leaned back into his seat and looked lifelessly to the ceiling, âiâve given that card to so many people and it has the wrong number printed on it.â
you felt a tad bit guilty and patted his back, âhow bad could it be?â
he slowly turned to you with the most helpless look on his face. "i told you so?" you joked trying to lighten up the mood.
he suddenly let out a chuckle. he straightened his back continuing to laugh, "you were right, yn."
you bit your lip holding back a laugh but jeonghan was busy wheezing while looking at the card, was he going manic? yet you couldn't help but laugh as well. you two were getting the attention of people around but you both couldn't care less.
gosh, what were the chances he was just seriously dumb.
"im so sorry yn, honestly, sorry for putting you through that trouble," he said after the laughs.
"its really no big deal, i'm more concerned for the people trying to contact you."
"it's fine, i only cared about your call anyways," he glanced at you with a different look in his eyes.
"what?"
he rested his head on his hand and repeated, "i only cared about your call."
"wow, you must really care about yuna," you acted oblivious.
"i do, i do," he pursed his lips holding back his smile, "but also in general, i was just interested in getting to know you better."
you didn't expect him to be so straghtforward. you knew he was probably the confident type but you thought it would've taken a lot to get his attention.
you leaned into your chair and squinted your eyes, "really? why?"
"don't know, why don't we talk about it over a cup of coffee?" he smugly grinned.
you played with the hem of your clothes, thinking twice before answering. but you already spent a whole evening with him and you couldn't lie, you were enjoying his presence.
"sure, why not."
you couldn't tell but he was mentally cheering, "come, let me give you the right phone number," he pointed to your phone.
you slid your phone to him and continued eating, "if that phone number doesn't go through, be careful, i know where you work."
he silently giggled at your joke, simultaneously, he called the number on your phone, and from his pocket, his phone buzzed, "you trust me now?"
"with you, who knows."
+
a workday again. you were at reception and there you saw jeonghan walk in with yuna hand in hand.
"hi yuna, i'll be in right away, just let me finish some of the work back here," you instructed as per usual.
you two watched yuna descend into the playroom and again, it was just the two of you.
"what's this? i thought mr.choi was becoming not-so-busy, did you actually manipulate his schedule just so that you could see me?" you joked.
you recalled his words from the coffee date you had with him just a few days ago. one of the details he mentioned on âwhy he was interestedâ was that he felt the urge to make his boss more busy just so that he'd be asked to get yuna from daycare to see you. you couldn't tell again, if he was just seriously dumb or just passionate.
"not really, just pulled a few strings, told seungcheol i would like to see my crush more often, now he lets me bring yuna to daycare where my crush conveniently works," he innocently explained with an angel-like smile.
your eyes were on the screen of the laptop but you were listening, "poor mr.choi, his father-daughter time is decreasing," you pouted.
"he'll live."
you were trying to finish the work on the computer but you still looked up, entertained by him, âwell donât decrease your boss-secretary time, leave.â
âyouâre mean.â
âyouâll live.â
he playfully clicked his tongue as he got a taste of his own medicine. he walked towards you and stepped closer to reception. he leaned over the table and his face was close yours. as he placed a kiss on your forehead, he asked, âwanna get dinner together tonight?â
âsure,â you smiled.
to say the least, the coffee date went well.

You stood at the edge of the gym, the sound of volleyballs hitting the floor echoing all around you. Your eyes followed to Kotaro Bokuto, the ase of Fukurodani's volleyball team and your childhood best friends, as he spiked the ball with his usual power and enthusiasm. You couldn't help but smile, memories of your younger selves flooding your mind.
You were a second-year student, just barely a year younger than Bokuto, but that fact never seemed to matter. From the moment you met as children, the two of you were inseparable. His loud, energetic personality perfectly complimented you quieter, more observant nature.
Today was no different than any other. As the volleyball club's practice came to an end, you spotted your sweaty best friend jogging over to where you were standing, his trademark toothy grin lighting up his face. "Hey, yn! Did you see my spikes today? I was on fire!"
You chuckled sweetly, nodding. "Yeah, you looked great out there Bo. You never fail to amaze me," you replied with a smile, masking the nervousness that recently started bubbling within you whenever he was close.
Bokuto's eyes sparkled with excitement, but there was something else there too-something deeper. He had always been expressive, but lately, his glances lingerd a bit longer, his touches a but more tender. And you'd known him long enough to recognize when something was on his mind.
The two of you walked home together, reminiscing about old times. After a short dull in the conversation, you are able to hear Bokuto clearing his throat, right before asking you a question, "Hey yn, remember when we first met?" The two of you make eye contact before you nod, a signal for him to keep going. "You were the only one of my friends who never got tired of playing volleyball with me," Bokuto said, his voice softening.
"Yeah I remember. I also remeber that you were so determined to teach me how to spike, even though I could barely learn how to receive the ball," you laughed, the memory warming your heart.
Bokuto's expression grew thoughtful. "You were always there for me, yn. No matter what. Like two birds of a feather. I don't think I've ever thanked you properly for that."
"You don't need to thank me, Bo. That's what friends are for," you said, though a part of you ached, just wishing the two of you could be more than just that. More than just friends.
As you arrived at school the next day, the reality of Bokuto's impending graduation hit hard. You found yourself lingering in the school courtyard, waiting for him as you always did. When he finally arrived, he looked more serious than usual.
"Hey, can we talk yn?" he asked, his golden eyes reflecting a mixture of determination and vulnerability.
"Of course Bo, what's on your mind?" you replied, following him to a quieter spot beneath a large oak tree, its branches swaying gently in the breeze.
Bokuto took a deep breath, his usual confidence wavering. "I've been thinking a lot lately. About us."
Your heart raced, confused. "What about us?"
He looked at you, his gaze intense. "I really don't want to leave things unsaid. We've been friends for so long, and, with me graduating in a couple days, I... I don't know what I'm going to do without you."
You stepped closer, your hand reaching out to touch his arm. "Bo, you don't have to say anything. We'll always be friends, no matter what."
"But that's the thing," he interrupted, his voice breaking slightly. "I don't want to be friends with you yn." He pauses.
His confession left you worried, thinking a million different things a second, wondering what you could have done to make Bokuto want to end your more than a decade long friendship. "Wait Bo, I'm confused. What do you mean you don't want to be friends." Tears welling in your eyes.
"No, yn, what I'm trying to say is that I love you. More than you know. More than someone should love their friend. I think I've been in love with you for as long as I can remember. And I don't think I could ever stop either loving you either, whether I want to or not."
The world seemed to stop as his words sank in. You had dreamed of this moment, but hearing it out loud was almost surreal. "Bokuto, I... I feel the same way. I love you Bo, I always-"
Your response was cut short as your long term childhood bestfriend chrashes his whole body into you, embracing you in the thightest and most loving hug you've ever experienced. You can hear Bokuto's muffled sniffles as he hides his face in your neck.
"I love you so much yn."
"I love you Bo"
As you stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, you felt a sense of peace and completeness. The future was uncertain, but one thing was clear: you and Bokuto were one, destined to stay together, no matter where life took you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! đđđđđ I loved Try Me (Matt Murdock x Reader), I was wondering if maybe you could write a sequel? I could see an intimate moment where sheâs feeding him the soup she made and taking care of him, potentially with the hilarity of Foggy finding out heâs got two super powered friends
thanks! hopefully this is what you were looking for, I had fun writing it!
Ask Me
pairing: Matt Murdock x Fem!Reader

"I can't believe you're Daredevil." She mutters as she ladles the soup into a bowl. She made a broth more than a soup because she didn't have time to cut the vegetables, but it'll do the trick. She also didn't know the extent of Matt's injures, and she didn't want him to have trouble eating anything. "Does Foggy know?" She asks as she brings the bowl over to the couch.
"Yes," Matt chuckles, but his teeth are clenched in pain. She kneels next to the couch and she is still shocked by his injuries, even though she's already seen them. He has a large cut across his chest, and resists the urge to touch it.
She watches Matt try to sit up, but he's clearly in too much pain. She puts the soup on the ground in favor of helping him up. She tries not to let her pulse rush as she touches his bare back and bicep, pulling him up gently until he is sitting up enough to eat.
"Here, let's get you some food." She tells him, spooning some broth and then carefully helping him eat some. It's so quiet in the apartment that she swears she can feel her own heart race as she feeds Matt. They're close, and her brain is reeling with the thought of how Matt, and blind man, can be a vigilante.
"I think that's good." Matt groans when they're about three fourths of the way though the bowl. She gets up to put the bowl away and grab a warm, wet cloth.
"How are you Daredevil?" She asks, sinking down to her knees again and beginning to wipe off the blood around his wounds.
"Are you asking if I'm actually blind?" He questions, but he's smiling, so she can tell he's joking.Â
"I know you're blind, Matt." She says with a small sigh. She's seen his unfocused eyes too many times to think he was just preteneding.Â
"All my other senses are heightened." He tells her, tensing as she begins to wipe a big, deep cut. She hopes that soon her healing food will kick in; she's never seen it help on this level, and she's worried it won't work as well as Matt is hoping it will.
"So, you can hear really good?" She asks, wondering what exactly that means. He shrugs, smiling a little bit.
"And smell, and taste. And feel. I have to have specific sheets because of how sensitive my skin is." He's feeling better, she can tell, and it makes her smile.
"How did figure it out?" She asks quietly. She's had these powers ever since she can remember, but she'd never told anyone and no one ever figured it out either. This is a first, sharing a gift, and she can't help but feel a little scared.
"That your food could heal people?" He clarifies. She almost nods, but then catches herself.
"Yeah," She confirms.
"You asked me what happened again the day after you first gave me the croissant, as if you knew it should have gone away. And I usually have accelerated healing anyway, but not that fast. You wouldn't have known that." He's starting to relax more, and she knows he needs to get some sleep soon.
"You wanna move to the bed?" She asks, putting the cloth down and preparing to move him. Before he can answer, Foggy comes stomping back in.
"So both of my best friends are super heroes?" He yells, throwing the drugstore bag in their general direction. Y/N's eyes widen as Foggy walks to them.
"I am not a super hero." Y/N clarifies.
"I wouldn't classify myself as one either." Matt interjects, a hand out to stop Foggy's rant. It does nothing, and Foggy soldiers on.
"You can feel, hear, and smell things no human should be able to feel, hear, and smell." He points at Matt, who raises an eyebrow. "And you can heal people with your food, that you've been feeding me for months!" Foggy moves to Y/N, and she just shakes her head.
"Have you ever wondered why you haven't gotten sick in months?" She asks, and he just scoffs.
"That proves my point!" He screams. Y/N and Matt shake their heads, Matt smirking.
"Foggy, neither of us are superheroes. You don't need to freak out." Matt tries to calm him down, but Foggy just gets more worked up.
"Are you kidding me? You could be Avengers for all I know!" Foggy grabs the bag that he had thrown and begins to get some of the bandages and Neosporin out to help Matt.
"Oh my God," Y/N groans, rolling her eyes and putting her head in her hands. Honestly, Foggy freaking out was kinda funny, but she isn't sure if he's being serious now or not.
"We're not Avengers, Foggy." Matt chuckles, and Y/N begins to put bandages over Matt's injuries.
"Well I just don't know that, do I?" Foggy looks over at the pot on the stove, walking over there quickly. "What did you make?"
"Just a quick broth. I wanted to get Matt something quick." She tells Foggy as she begins to focus on the task at hand.
"Is this why I haven't gotten paper cuts?" Foggy asks as he ladles a little soup out for himself.
"It doesn't make you skin extra strong, Fog." Matt tells him as she continues bandaging him up. Her hands brushing his skin make Matt want to crawl out of his skin in a good way, which didn't make sense until this very moment.
"Did I hurt you?" Y/N asks softly when he tenses.
"No," He mutters, putting a hand on her wrist to stop her. "It's okay, I think the big ones are taken care of." He just wants to lay down and sleep it off now, but he wants to ask her one more thing.
"Let me help you to your room." She offers, and together, with him leaning on her, they make it to Matt's room.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" He asks as they sit down. He can feel the heat begin to flush her cheeks, her heart beginning to race. He's worried still that maybe she feels uncomfortable until she responds.
"Working." She thinks she's funny, and Matt chuckles.
"Do you want to go to Josie's with me tomorrow night?" He asks, and she ducks her head and smiles.
"As long as my boss lets me off on time." She says, nudging him with her shoulder.
"I'll talk to him." He tells her, both of them smiling hard enough that their cheeks hurt.
