Potential Deadpool & Wolverine spoilers.

I just realized that the movie that brought Deadpool and the X-Men into the MCU *technically* didn't do that. Like Wade is given the choice to join the Sacred Timeline or stay in his dying world, but he pulls a Spider-Man and says "nah I'm gonna do my own thing"

and he never goes to the MCU. the story ends back in Wade's world. that's such an interesting choice. they could've devised a way to bring Wade's family into the sacred timeline, or combine the two timelines, or some other way to get Wade and Logan actually into the MCU, but they chose not to. because that makes for a more meaningful story I guess.

it also opens up some interesting possibilities, keeping Deadpool and the X-Men somewhat separate from the rest of the MCU. Like they're still there. but not quite there

i think 5 years post canon trucy drops out of college and starts up a psych-type gig where she learns of murders through edgeworth, shows up at the crime scene, and pretends to be a psychic there, while she Perceives enough clues to solve the case, and everyone else on the scene only vaguely remembers her hanging around the wrights and the feys and figures that this all checks out. sometimes she even has pearl fey with her who is clearly uncomfortable with scamming people but also cant help but confirm that there is in fact a psychic on the case now. they make insane cash and phoenix could not be prouder. they also all collectively keep this a secret from apollo because otherwise theyd all go to jail
