I've Never Seen You Here
Pairing: Ryomen Sukuna x fem!reader (au)
Words: 2,6k
Summary: It's no secret that you and Sukuna want each other, but what would happen if you met at a club? (smut)
A/N: I wrote this a while ago, hope you guys enjoy it!
Warnings: Mature content, swearing, unprotected sex, semi-public sex, bathroom sex, creampie, fingering, reader is a waitress at a café, pet names such as princess and baby.
It was little past five on a Tuesday afternoon, a soft breeze of the incoming sunset passed by the crowded streets of Tokyo, offering everyone a small relief after such a hot day. You were in your usual spot; behind the counter, with your back against it, fanning yourself with one of the menus, trying to get some relief from the hot weather inside the café you work at. Your friend, Nobara, stood in front of you, drying some glasses that had just been washed by you.
The bell on the entry door rang, announcing new customers, making your eyes roll, without even bothering enough to see who it was, your shift would end in an hour and you just wanted to leave soon.
You were just about to ask Nobara to take their orders when she spoke up.
"Your guy is here" a smirk appeared on her lips.
Turning around just in time to see him passing through the door, pink hair and dark tattoos catching the attention of many customers around him. He smirked at you, like he usually did. His black t-shirt did nothing to hide the toned muscles he had underneath it, making a smirk form on your lips as well.
Forgetting completely about your previous annoyance, you stretched your pink 60s inspired uniform dress and picked your small notepad, walking towards his table.
He was here with his friends, all of them talking loudly about something that had happened on their way to the café. He looked so cool with his silver chain and knuckle rings along with his black jeans. Smoking hot, you would dare to say.
He looked like the type of guy you should avoid, the type of guy you can’t take home to meet your parents and that is going to cause a lot of damage in your life. All the red flags were there, but you just didn’t mind them, after all, red was your favorite color.
"Welcome to Shibuya’s café, what can I get you?"
You wrote down their orders as the white-haired started telling you, but you couldn't help but notice the way the pink haired guy looked you up and down, like a wolf eyeing his prey.
"Alright, I'll be right back."
You felt his burning gaze on your back the entire way back to the counter and you more than quickly made sure to get their orders done.
"Anything else you might want?" A bright smile left your lips.
"That's all for today, princess." The pink haired answered with a grin.
It was always like this. They started coming to the café a few months ago, every time the guy would call you a nickname or smirk at you. You would smirk back, or ask if they wanted something else, looking right into his eyes, just for the pleasure to see the lust that spackled on them.
The sexual tension between the two of you was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife. Sometimes you wanted to bluntly ask for his number, or write yours and hand it to him, but you never got the guts, since all his friends were around.
You went back to work, attending other tables, making coffee, cleaning the counter, but at every chance you got, you would look in his direction and sure enough, he would be looking at you.
"You're gonna keep this mouse and cat game 'till when?" Nobara spoke up, making you jump startled.
"What do you mean?"
"Why don't you just ask him for his number?"
"Because I'm working! If Yaga sees me doing that, he’s gonna scold me for good. Second, his friends are there, what if he says no and all of them start laughing at me!?"
"You're just overthinking it!" She said, rolling her eyes. "If work’s the problem, why don't you meet him somewhere else?"
"As if it were easy to find him amongst all the people in Tokyo."
"I actually might know where he's gonna be on Friday…." She said with a smirk, leaning against the counter and raising her brows.
----
You stared at yourself in the mirror, admiring the job Nobara had done on you, your hair and makeup were flawless and the outfit she picked highlighted the best parts of your body. The short black dress hugged all your curves and the black high heels gave you an elegant posture.
“If you don’t get that guy tonight, you surely will get someone hotter.” She giggled, looking at you through the mirror. “Damn, we look fucking hot! I did an excellent job” A proud smirk appearing on her lips.
“You sure did!” You giggled a little, checking the time on your cell phone. “Shit, we gotta get going.”
Entering the club wasn’t hard at all, just flashing the bodyguard a wink and a cute smile and the two of you were in. Going straight to the bar you ordered two Sex On The Beach, waiting for the barman to make them.
"Woah! I know you two!" You heard a man saying from beside you. It was the tall white-haired guy from the café.
"Hey there!" Nobara said smiling.
"Are you girls having fun?" His smile was so bright it almost put the club’s light to shame.
"We just got here, actually!" She shouted through the music.
"Wanna sit with us? We got a table." He shouted back.
You two exchanged looks before nodding in his direction.
“Ill have four beers, and put those drinks on us too.” He told the bartender, pointing to your drinks that he had just finished.
"Look who I found at the bar!" He caught the attention from the other men at the table, while putting the beers on it. "Girls, I'm Gojo, this is Geto, that dude’s Sukuna and the grumpy one here is Nanami." He said pointing to each one of them, receiving an eye roll from Nanami in response.
So his name is Sukuna huh? It fits him. You thought to yourself.
"I'm y/n and this is Nobara!"
They greeted you two loudly and then asked you girls to take a seat. Watching as Sukuna and Geto opened up some space for you girls to sit. You sat beside Sukuna while Nobara and Gojo sat beside Geto.
"I've never seen you here." Sukuna’s voice reached you, his lips so close to your ears that you felt goosebumps on your arms. His voice making you lose your focus on Nobara’s conversation with Gojo and turn your head towards him
"It's actually my first time here."
He nodded, looking you up and down. "It's nice seeing you without that pink dress on."
You smiled in his direction, taking his beer bottle for a sip when he offered you.
After a good thirty minutes, Gojo came back with vodka shots, which made you all engage in conversation easier, talking about work and old stories from the high school era.
Sukuna put his arm around your shoulder, looking at you, to see if you would ask him not to do so. But after seeing your smile, he knew it would be a great night. An hour passed by, and another three shots of vodka with it. Doja Cat blasted through the speakers and you and Nobara decided to go dance.
You moved your body with the beat, swaying your hips and singing out loud. Your body started to get hot, and you looked at the table seeing Sukuna's predator gaze on you, making your core start heating as well.
Another song started playing, and that's when you saw the guys approaching you. You all started dancing together as good friends would, but after a few minutes, you found yourself dancing suggestively around Sukuna, loving the way his eyes watched your hips.
You decided to make a move and turned around, pressing yourself on him while still dancing, rubbing yourself against his body. His hands found your hips as you two swayed to the song together, making it impossible for you not to feel his bulge against you, a smirk crepting your lips.
Suddenly his hands moved to your waist and he turned you around; your faces inches apart as one of your hands found the back of his neck, pulling him closer to give him a hungry kiss.
His tongue asked for permission, which you gladly allowed, feeling his muscle explore every inch of your mouth. The kiss was heated and hungry as his hand soon found your ass, bringing you impossibly closer to him.
Leaning down near your ear his lips brushed against your earlobe as he spoke. “What about we go to the bathroom?”
"Why not?" You looked up at him with innocent eyes and he just knew he couldn’t wait any longer.
Grabbing your hand he led you towards the bathroom, opening the door for you to enter first, before attacking your lips again. This kiss was even faster, the two of you desperate for more as he guided you towards one of the bathroom’s booths, closing the door behind him, trying to lock it between hair tugs and muffled moans.
Finally locking it, he pushed your back against it, allowing you a few seconds of breath before his lips found yours again. His hands went to the back of your thighs, giving them a little slap, silently asking you to jump, which you gladly did, wrapping your legs around his waist as his hands found your butt again, this time to support you.
His mouth traveled from your lips to your jaw, before finally stopping at your neck. Applying you sloppy wet kisses as he lowered the top part of your dress to play with your nipples.
He squeezed one of them harshly, earning a gasp from you as you tug at his hair. His lips attacked your other nipple, sucking and biting on it until you were a panting mess.
Moving one of your hands down to his pants, you pressed your palm on his bulge through the fabric, making a gasp leave his lips as Sukuna grabbed your hand and pushed it inside his pants, demanding for more.
You gladly opened his jeans, pulling his member out of his tight black boxers and giving it a few gentle strokes, wanting to tease him. Your delicate fingers going up and down him gently as you used your thumb to spread some of his precum on his delicate pink tip.
A low growl left his lips as his hands squeezed your waist tight enough to make you moan slightly. One of Sukuna’s hands went down to your core, circling your pulsating clit through the fabric of your panties, smirking as he felt your wetness reach his fingers.
“Already this wet for me, princess?”
Sukuna hungrily kissed your jaw as he put your panties to the side, and his middle finger traveled between your folds, getting wet with your liquids before entering you slowly.
You moaned as he entered another finger inside of you, scissoring your insides and curling them to reach that specific spot he knew would have you trembling.
“So tight… can’t wait to feel this pussy around my cock”
His dirty words made you moan again as you clenched around his fingers.
“You like it when I talk like this to you? Uh? Like it when I talk to you like a whore?”
He finally found your spot, sending you to a state of bliss as you could feel your orgasm approaching you. You got so caught in the moment, that you had to take your hand out of his pants to put it on his shoulder for support, not sure if you could trust your legs anymore.
Sukuna increased his movements, watching intently as your eyes rolled back and your legs started to tremble around him. A wave of ecstasy hitting you completely as your wall clamped around his fingers.
The pink-haired removed his fingers from you, making you whine at the loss of sensation. You watched as he took his fingers to his lips, sucking them without breaking eye contact with you.
His red eyes were almost brown now, and his pupils were dilated with lust. He kissed you one more time, letting you taste yourself on his tongue before he pushed your dress up to your waist and unbolted his pants entirely, moving his hands up and down his length a few times.
"You sure?" He asked, gaze burning your eyes.
"Yes!" You kissed him again, wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him closer to you.
That's when you felt his member collecting some of your juices before sliding slowly inside of you, making you moan slightly. He waited for a while after bottoming out, letting you get adjusted to his size, before he started to thrust at a slow pace in and out of you.
Both of your moans could be heard in the entire bathroom. Your hands were lost in his locks, pulling them making him groan like a feral beast. One of his hands supported him against the door behind you, while the other found your clit, applying circular and precise motions on it.
“Sukuna… more, please!”
His once calm thrusts became fast and hard and you were sure anyone in the bathroom would be able to hear the sound of his balls slapping against your ass. Sukuna straightened up a little, which gave him a whole new angle that hit your sweet spot instantly, making you let go of a loud moan.
"Yes! Right there" you managed to say between moans, as he promptly obeyed, hitting your core even harder.
At this point your bodies were sweating and your moans were louder than ever, his thrusts were becoming sloppier and his constant abuse to your sweet spot made your wall start to clench around him one more time as Sukuna groaned hungrily.
"I'm gonna- I’m gonna cum!" You announced, feeling the pleasure take control of your body. Your eyes closed and your head fell back, hitting the door, while a series of moans and incoherent words left your mouth.
"Yes, baby, cum for me!" Sukuna applied more pressure to his thumb on your clit, making the loudest moan to leave your throat. "Come on, doll, cum for me!"
His thrusts became faster and you felt a wave of pure pleasure take over your body as you hit your climax a second time that night, moaning out his name. He thrust inside of you a couple more times before he came too, biting hard on your shoulder to muffle his loud groan. Shots of his cum filling you up to the brum, while you moan with the sensibility of your core after your orgasm.
Sukuna held you for a few more seconds before he placed you gently on the floor, your hands still on his shoulders, to make sure you weren't gonna fall.
"Fuck" you said, adjusting your hair.
"Yeah, fuck!" He said, laughing a little, while he adjusted his pants again.
You two opened the door, glad to see that there wasn't anyone else in the bathroom.
You moved towards the sink, looking at your reflection in the mirror. Your hair was a mess, your makeup all smudged, your neck full of red marks that you were sure would become bruises soon. You quickly fixed your dress and your hair, trying to fix your makeup in the best way you could, while he fixed his hair too.
"So…" He cleared his throat. "Will I see you again?... Out of the cafe, I mean."
You smiled at him a little, before looking for a pen in your purse. "Maybe…" you smiled suggestively now. "Why don't you call me someday and we find out?"
You grabbed his hand, writing down your number on it.
"You can be sure I'll call you, princess." He whispered against your ear. “Are you ready?"
You nodded and so the two of you left the bathroom and went back to your previous table, laughing at the shouts and whistling coming from your friends.

Daily Writing Challenge - February 2024
It's Day 7 of the February @daily-writing-challenge which means I made it! 7 days worth of speed writing where I had to start AND FINISH sometime in a time limit, and I did it. And had a great time doing it. Thank you @daily-writing-challenge for this fun event! Hopefully, I'll still be around in November for the next one!
Day 7: Discovery - 800ish words
Once one became accustomed to it, there really was quite a bit to admire about Orgrimmar. This high up, the clamour of discordant noises melded into something more harmonious. The endless streams of beings flowed more cohesively when viewed from above; like liquid anima - or blood, Renathal supposed, - through the city's various well-structured veins. Even the clifftop plateau on which he was currently perched, though rougher and dustier than the smooth cliffs of the Dragon Isles, had its rustic charms.
But the true beauty of this land was its sunset.
Renathal had removed his protective tinted glasses just to stare out across the wide valley, watching its jutting rock formations and canyons shift slowly from oranges and browns to deep purples and reds in time with the dimming sky. It was remarkable how sunlight - or the lack of it - changed a realm’s landscape. And remarkable how fond of the sight the Prince of Revendreth had grown in so relatively short a time.
Something swooped across the distant horizon, too fast to be an incoming zeppelin, and Renathal's eyes dropped compulsively to the timepiece on the rock next to him. Then, returning to his task, he picked up the whetstone in his lap and continued to slide it in satisfying shnks up the edge of the sword balanced carefully across his knees. Elisewin offered to use magic to keep his weapon sharp, but as a master of the blade, Renathal believed there were some things better done by hand. Even Vorpalia he had insisted on manually cleaning and sharpening on a regular basis; something his enchanted sword had often complained about, though Renathal believed she secretly enjoyed the attention.
At this memory of his long-time partner and loyal friend, a wave of visceral emotion hit Renathal like an unexpected up-draft. A sudden twisting cyclone of sadness, loneliness, and something like wistful longing ripped through him, so hard he let the sword and whetstone falls from his hands to the cliff face with a clatter as he fought to catch his superfluous breath. This was not an emotional melange he was familiar with, but Renathal knew at once what he must be experiencing.
Homesickness.
It was to be expected, he supposed, as he took stock of the strange nauseating sensation. He and Elisewin had been so busy the last months fighting and slaying, rescuing and saving, there simply had not been time to feel it before. Now, on shore leave in Azeroth, waiting for new orders from her Horde commanders, the curious emotion had caught up with him. And Renathal closed his eyes, allowing his mind to indulge in a few seconds of melancholy musing.
What was happening in Revendreth, now? Revendreth... where the eternal sky possessed its own unique, inimitable shades. Where the people and places he had known his entire existence awaited his return. How were they faring without him - his friends and his enemies? Were they, too, experiencing various degrees of low-spirits in his absence? Or worse - had he already been relegated to memory? Had they discovered the realm truly was better off without him?
A low whoosh and a burst of warm air overhead startled Renathal from his unhappy reverie. He opened his eyes automatically and dropped his gaze to the timepiece again, noting the time.
“How was that?” asked Elisewin breathlessly from behind him.
Swallowing hard past the lump in his throat, Renathal called over his shoulder, “A new record - for you. Quite impressive. Though, you are still four seconds off of mine.”
“I think I can live with that,” Elisewin replied, and even before he turned on his rocky perch to look at her, Renathal could hear her vibrant smile.
She smiled like that often now, he had noticed; not the small, implacably dispassionate smile which was her face's signature expression, but a wide display of unconstrained happiness that wrinkled her nose and rounded her cheeks. It was a new development, that smile, not something Renathal remembered seeing often in Revendreth. Perhaps the right set of circumstances had simply not had time to present themselves; or, perhaps, he thought, watching Elisewin stroke her arborwyrm's leaf green mane, perhaps this was a specific strain of happiness their adventures together had inspired.
Catching Renathal staring, Elisewin cocked her head.
"What?" she asked.
"Nothing," he answered; then, when she continued to eye him dubiously, added, "I was just thinking... you and dragon riding have come a long way."
With a small chuff of self-conscious laughter, Elisewin shook back her windswept hair and gave her mount's long neck a final fond pat before ambling towards where Renathal sat.
"I suppose," she admitted. Sliding his sword carefully away with her foot, she dropped to the cliff beside him and let her legs dangle over the side. "It's actually quite exhilarating once you're used to it."
It was Renathal's turn to smile, the melancholy of minutes ago fading from him with Durotar's dying light. His eyes wandered from the wide world ahead of him to Elisewin beside him as he agreed:
"Yes. It certainly is."

The guitar stopped playing, signaling the end of the performance. A handsome man standing below looked at the singer on the dazzling stage above with a smile of happiness mixed with pride. The other singer also looked at him with a reassuring look accompanied by sulking, glancing at the backstage signaling him to go inside. The band stepped into the room with applause, and the handsome guy from earlier also disappeared. "We're into the final stage!!" The band screamed with joy, Sound quickly captured the millennial moment and uploaded it to the club's IG with the happy caption "Hot Wave Finals, wait for Chinzhilla." At the end of the celebration, the band quickly cleaned up their things. Suddenly a voice from the door was opened
"Is Gun here?"
The person who just mentioned his name didn't have time to open his mouth to make a certain sound, his friend Win had his throat clamped:
"Oh, precious student council president! Not congratulating the school band on reaching the finals and hurrying to find a lover?"
Win looked at the handsome chairman with a sneer while slapping his shoulders over Sound's neck.
"Then congrats to Chinzhilla for making it to the Hot Wave final. Remember to win first place so I don't waste my time lying to my mom for the past few months so you guys can get a budget boost and sleep at the school or else I'll there's no more this kind president."
Tinn replied to Win with a bored expression that successfully silenced the arrogant man. Sound was about to speak up to protect Win but was interrupted by Por
"Let's go eat hotpot, Ai'Tinn! Gun is sitting in the corner over there, after talking, take him to the restaurant for me, I will send the location"
"Hey Tinn, let's just talk only, don't sell my club president to China. Sound take me, Por has Tiwson, Pat and Yo let's go, leave space for the lovely dove couple"
Win saw the opportunity to poke fun and immediately spit out a few sentences with disdain looking from Gun to Tinn and then dragged his driver out of the room. Gun blushed red, glaring at the closed door.
"Why are you late today?"
Gun angrily looked at his boyfriend who was no feeling to his question. He walked over to him and gently sat down on the chair next to him.
"I'm sorry! Please forgive me, today my mother made me sit down and clean up all the student council files"
"Okay, you can wipe my face, too much makeup"
He looked at his boyfriend flirting with him and smiled lovingly. Gently hold a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover to wipe the small face. Laughter rang out. The young couple held hands tightly and walked out. The room suddenly went dark.
One pink sunset afternoon, on the resounding beach, the two boys sat there for a long time. The small person leaned on the shoulder of the big man, the scene was strangely quiet. The sound of the waves crashing on the side. The small person suddenly spoke up
"Tinn! Why did you like me back then?"
"Hm... I don't know, I remember that it was my birthday, no one could celebrate it with me, but there was a certain cute little boy. Not only did his best give me jumbo sweet, but also sings a very touching song so that I don't feel lonely anymore. That kid is cute, kind, always in a happy and positive state, so I love him so much."
One drop, two drops. Gun's tears fell, it was not tears of sadness and disappointment but tears of happiness, he must be very happy to have met, been with, and loved someone like Tinn. The quiet wind blew past as if it had the power to push the other two bodies together, lips to lips, a sweet kiss quietly exchanged, then gradually turned into a deep kiss that could not be stopped. Lacking a breath, Gun gently pushed his lover away, his eyes still sparkling with clear tears.
"Get up and close your eyes, I have a present for you"
Tinn gently told Gun to stand up straight, listening to Tinn, Gun stood there and closed his eyes. Tinn looked at his boyfriend and then turned away, quickly returning with something behind him. "You can open your eyes now"
He slowly opened his eyes in front of him was a bright red rose, before he could stop being surprised, the person opposite him knelt down and pulled out a red box from his pants pocket. A diamond ring engraved with his name. "Will you marry me!? I promise not to upset you and always take care of you. Marry me?"
His voice was firm as if he'd been rehearsing for this day for a long time. The tears that had stopped flowing from his eyes were now falling even harder than before. Happy eyes looked at him and then without saying a word held out his left hand in front of him for an answer. Tinn looked at Gun lovingly, putting the ring on his finger. He hugged him tightly, tears welling up in his eyes. He took his hand into the bedroom, forcefully pushed him down on the bed, and laid on top of him, speaking in a low voice
"For me. Your first time"
"Do you know how long I've been waiting for you to say this, my dear husband? We're already 20 years old. I thought you had to say this since my 18th birthday."
He was surprised that his lover changed his words so quickly. But he also quickly regained the initiative and replied in a low voice "At that time, I was afraid, I was afraid that you would say I love you because of sexual desire, because of a temporary crush, so I wanted to use the past 5 years to prove that I really love you."
"Now you don't need to prove it anymore, I trust you" Hearing the sweet words of his boyfriend, he gently lowered his head and placed a kiss on his soft lips, he also responded to him, and his small hand actively clung to his neck to deepen the kiss. Breaking the kiss due to lack of air, his face vaguely felt the excitement when he kissed down his young neck, the cool feeling came, and each layer of clothes and pants were removed. Two naked bodies merged. The pink and white breasts continuously received stimulation from his long fingers. The body is involuntarily flushed. A finger crept down the small pink anus and massaged it. One finger...Two fingers...Three fingers. The first time his back was touched, he squeezed his fingers. He called out to Gun in a low voice "My dear wife, do you want to cut my son off. Relax a little bit"
He said while slapping his boyfriend's round white butt. Gun groaned in meaningless sounds listening to his words, gently relaxing his body to let him be free. Seeing that the small hole had welcomed him, he moved his hand wide inside him, the bump touched by his finger, and his body trembled, involuntarily turning a tomato red. Knowing that he had hit a sensitive point, he accelerated in and out, looking for a rough spot to aim for. The other hand left the pink and white flower buds on the breast, down to the small fleshy cone, up and down violently. Three sensitive points receive stimulation together, and white semen immediately gushes out. He pulled his finger out of the boy's small mouth, lewd lust, anus constricting as if inviting little "Tinn". The low voice resounded in his mouth. "Gun, tell me if it hurts, I'll stop"
He did not respond but looked at him with lustful eyes, good hands restlessly stroking his toned abs, rubbing his straight bareback. He responded to his lustful gaze with a nudge. Little Tinn is wrapped in a warm harem. Gun's white butt was filled with the silhouette of his large hand. The thrust of the handle hurt him to the bone as if his body was torn in two. He was used to his fingers, but the stick was too big. He did not rush to move and leaned down to kiss him, the aftertaste of wine still lingered on his small lips, he sucked on his red lips that were bitten and then became swollen. While he was still licking his lips, his mind wandered. He stabbed his lower body inside him, trying to find the bump just now and trying to pull it out. The sound of love sounded from the smallmouth above, "True love", he thought, unpredictably the stream of white semen gushed out like a waterfall inside him. The sensitive spot on his body that was caressed by him also leaked fluid. He placed a gentle kiss on his lips and then lay down next to him, embracing the small body in his lap. He has been fasting for 5 years in return for his trust. Now he is happy and satisfied and so are you. Night fell, the movement had linked him and he lay there facing each other. His eyes slowly closed. Black space.
The surrounding noises woke him up. In front of him was the crowded capital city, surrounded by lights from the city's buildings still shining. A crowd surrounds a crime scene, where's your Tinn. He approached the crowd. His eyes widened, his mouth hung open, tears welling up in his eyes. You see, your Tinn, your beloved husband lying there in a pool of blood. The police step to the side "You're Kantapol? What's your relationship with the victim?"
His eyes watered as he looked at the policeman next to him and replied "Yes, I'm Kantapol. He's my husband. The policeman, why is he lying here?" He panicked, one second he was making love to him, and the next second he was killed. He couldn't bear to hug his body tightly. His body was cold, the blood had stopped flowing, but his heart had also stopped beating. Pulling out the knife on his chest and throwing it away, he cried and hugged him tightly, helplessly shouting his name. "Tinnnn! What's wrong with you? Why did you leave me? I promised to be with you forever, never to make you sad. I woke you up now! Tinn! Tinn"
A crisp crackling sound rang out, and Gun woke up from his slumber. "Papa Gun has a nightmare again? Is he dreaming of Papa Tinn again?" "Papa isn't, it's just a normal nightmare" "Papa don't lie to me, Papa Gun ah Papa Tinn has been gone for 6 years now, if Papa Gun stays sad like this Papa Tinn in heaven won't be happy. Papa Gun don't cry anymore! Papa Gun for me today I'll go visit Papa Tinn." "Okay Tun wait for Papa to change then take me to see Papa Tinn"
The child ran out of the room, and he followed the child. The baby looked a lot like Tinn, he told himself. He's been dead for almost 6 years. The day he was killed is still etched in his memory. Since he left the world, you can't be with anyone anymore, you and he have a baby, but unfortunately he and the baby have never met each other. What she saw were old photos of Tinn and the times he went to Tinn's grave with him.
It was raining outside, just like his mood. Put the baby in the car to move to his grave. Arriving where he saw his parents on both sides standing under the umbrella in front of his grave, suppressing his emotions, he took the baby to stand with his mother. After a long time, he asked his parents to take the baby home first and come back later. His parents' car had just disappeared, he was standing there, letting go of his umbrella, letting the rainwater fall on his body. He knelt down in front of his grave, now he couldn't even explain what tears and raindrops were. Sunset mixed with rain. He knelt there until his legs were tired, then stood up, stopped crying, hugged his grave, and returned to the car to return home. It is true that if we are sad that day, God will also mix with our feelings. Under that red, red sky, there was a boy who was crying in love with someone who couldn't.

The pink hued sunset overcasting the atmosphere of Sumeru city caused the lively town square to turn into a soft romantic paradise filled with lovers, friends, and family. Every night the two of you, would walk to the Akademiya, the place you first met just to reconcile with the past mistakes the two made during their time studying together. It’s been different recently, after a long period of becoming friends the two of you slowly fell for each other, captivated by the others charm and ideals, and overall their way of life and beliefs. Nine months had flown by and the two got hitched, the september air slightly chilly compared to the normal dreaded heat of Sumeru. The leaves began to shed and the grass discolored. The two of you were inseparable, some would say it was true love that had grown in both of their hearts, pulling them together until they were bound to one another. Others say it was just the clashing of the two quite different personality’s, and yet the couple remained unscathed by the reality of life, they always thought that they would live a long and happy life together, that they would tear away from the restraints of pain and agony and find peace in each others embrace. Nobody can accomplish this goal however, and the life that they had started living slowly dragged downhill, until it had reached a breaking point.
It was around 9:00 am, You and Kavehs anniversary was tonight, and you two decided to go out later for dinner and take the rest of the day off, but of-course he got a call, and had to step into his office that morning. You didn’t think much of it that morning having just woken up, it was his job after all and you weren’t the one to stop him from completing his work that he worked on for days. He had completed a design for a large corporation recently and today he was going to turn it in and head back home so the two could relax and spend their anniversary together.
Kaveh grabbed his coat, he left his scarf and earrings on the coffee table as he was just going to stop by, his hair was tied up into a bun with a few stray strands of hair sticking out at the sides, you smiled at the man infront of you, his soft smile, his alluring red eyes… everything about him was perfect, and it had been a year since the two of you got married. Life had flown by easily, you two had even talked about children and animals, you were set.
“I’ll be home soon, I promise, and then we will have the rest of the day to ourselves.”
He said with a softer tone than usual, his voice dripping with pure emotion, it was obvious he had always been helplessly in love with you but ever since you got together it seemed as if his love grew more by the day, and this was true, he felt as if he couldn’t take his eyes off of you the moment you walked into any room, you were his shining star, his one and only, his wife. Kaveh kissed your cheek, his lips lingering against the soft skin for a moment before brushing a strand of hair away from you’re face, pushing it behind your ear and beginning to walk out the door, he waved before shutting it behind him, and he was off.
You watched him walk away from out of the kitchen window, a warm mug of coffee in your hands, he had made it for you this morning, he had always loved acts of affection no matter how small they were , and you were the same way. You watched as he walked off and slowly disappeared from your line of vision.
It was your anniversary, you should stop at the bakery and grab some breakfast for when he gets back..
You smiles at the idea that popped into your head and started to get ready, throwing on an extra layer of clothes and grabbing your keys, you and kaveh had his best friend had matching keychains, with a little lion on the end of them. You looked at the sweet face of the lion, it reminded you of him..
You walked out of the door and started to walk down the street to this bakery that you had heard good things about, the atmosphere of the city much more tense and crisp than usual, as if something was off, and yet you couldn’t put your finger on it.
That was until a few people you had known from your husbands work began running down the street, their faces distraught and panicked, their clothes burnt and coated in blood.
You felt your heart stop, the beating pausing for what felt like an eternity, you quickly turned to one of his co-workers and grabbed his wrist before he could run any further.
“What’s going on? Where is my husband.”
The co worker looked terrified and confused, his pupils dilated with panic..
“The - the building collapsed.. fire-..”
That’s all you needed to hear, your own eyes filling with the panic that had resembled your husbands co workers, the world suddenly stopped.
Your feet moved on their own, running back to your home with this feeling of dread overtaking your entire body, you desperately hoped he had made it home before this had happened- he had to have made it home he just had to.
You made it back home, the front door still closed and locked, no sign of him back at the residence, you fell to your knees, trying to think of what to do next, look for him at the site, ask around, or hope for the best, the vision of your husband in the building as it collapsed forcing itself into your brain, clawing at the seams until they broke open.
It had been a few days, and there was no sign of your beloved.
It had been another few days, no sign of Kaveh.
Thirteen days.
A knock on your door.

“Oh–” was all you managed to say. “I recommend we start radiation treatments-” You zoned out and watched your feet dangle from the edge of the exam table. Was this it? Was this really all there was for you? It seemed hopeless to even do anything at this point. You figured if this was affecting you again, it was for a reason.
"No. I don't want treatment." The doctor looked at you and his gaze faltered. "You do understand that if you refuse treatment this will inevitably kill you?" You nodded. The words felt empty, they carried no weight behind them anymore. Nonetheless, the doctor continued to try and persuade you.
"I said I don't want the treatment. I'm refusing medical advice. I don't want to have to go through this again, it's obviously not going away. Now where the hell do I sign the papers?" You exasperated. The doctor gave you one last look before getting the papers for you to embark your signature on.
“You’re one-hundred percent sure about this?”
You shrugged your shoulders, “I've got nothin' left for me here anyways. Might as well just let nature take its course.”
"Well surely you've got someone, a friend maybe?" You shook your head.
"Nope." You replied, popping the P at the end. The doctor seemed to finally grasp the situation when you handed the papers back to him as if you were turning in a job application.
He pursed his lips, "I'm going to give prescribe medication for the pain. Based on the size of the tumor I'd say you have about eight months to live, but only about half of those months will be enjoyable." You nodded your head in reply and gathered your stuff together.
So how were you going to spend your last months on earth? That was the question you asked yourself. You walked out of the building and found yourself in a coffee shop. It was busy, but you found yourself a seat next to a window in the back of the shop. Your eyes gazed out the window as you pondered your question from earlier.
'I could move to New York and see broadway shows I've never wanted to see'
'There's always casinos–'
'–Or what about splurging your money on dumb things that you'll quite literally never need?'
You laughed at your thoughts. You made up your mind right there, you were going to live the rest of your life just the way it was. It’d be easier that way. You didn't have friends, no longer had parents, so it's not like anyone would really miss you really. All you had was your pet cat and your guitar. And truth be told, that's all you needed.
Coffee.
"Hello?" You snapped out of your gaze to see a beautiful brunette standing in front of you. The second thing you noticed was her accent, you'd never heard it before. “I was wondering if this seat was taken?” She softly smiled at you. You returned the gesture and shook your head no. "The place is cram packed and you seemed trustworthy. I hope I'm not disturbing you or anything, you seemed to be pretty deep in thought." The young woman blushed a crimson color, "I'm sorry I probably seem weird or something, I'll go."
Normally you would have cared, but at this point in time you didn't mind the company. So, with the slightest bit of hesitation, you called out for her.
“Wait! It’s fine, don’t worry. I-I’m all alone.” The woman’s smile widened as she took a seat across from you. “Thanks. I'm Wanda, what's your name?”
"Y/N."
"Y/N..." She flexed your name on her tongue, "That's a beautiful name."
"I'm stuck with it for life, so I sure hope it's at least a decent name." You narrowed your eyes at her as you joked. A giggle escaped the gap between her lips, causing a small flutter to emit in your stomach.
"So what do you do?" She asked, intrigued by your presence.
"Well I do a lot of things, I walk, I talk, I breathe-"
"Oh shut up! You know what I meant." Wanda’s eyes gleamed with friendliness and warmth. She seemed like the type you'd be friends with if you weren't dying. "Okay, okay, I play guitar and sing while my cat eats her food." Wanda's eyes lit up at the mention of a cat.
"You have a cat? What's her name?" Her elbows were propped up on the table with her head resting in her hands, showing just how actually interested she was in you.
“Her name is Nala. You know, from The Lion King?”
Wanda’s brows furrowed together. She’d never seen The Lion King, much less heard of it.
Your jaw dropped at her confusion. “You mean to tell me you’ve never seen The Lion King?”
“I’m Sokovian, what do you expect?”
“Ahh, I see. Well, do you at least have any pets?”
"My apartment doesn't allow pets."
"So? Sneak one in." You replied nonchalantly, crushing ice between your teeth. Wanda looked at you in shock. "No way! Knowing me I'd get my ass caught on the first day." You shrugged in reply and the conversation quickly went dead.
Wanda checked her phone, moving abruptly to get up from her seat. "I'm so sorry, I have to go now. I'll see you around, okay?"
“Sure.”
After another half hour of waiting on nothing and thinking about everything, you finally decided it was time to leave. A feeling of regret washed over you. The woman was kind, very friendly, something that you craved.
But you couldn’t allow yourself these things now, especially given the direction you were heading.
_____
Over the next few weeks you'd spent your time songwriting, journaling and a midst of other lonely, boring things. Sometimes you'd catch yourself thinking about the woman in the coffee shop, but you tended not to dwell too much on the past.
You thought about your tumor and all the different ways it was growing inside you. It grossed you out more than anything, but you weren't afraid. At least not now you weren't.
A heavy sigh slipped from your lips, and the sudden urge to go to the park overtook the need to do anything else. You’d never really visited the park in your area before, so you decided now was the time.
The beige acoustic guitar rest heavily on your shoulders, similarly to the weight of the world. It was bitter, no taste of sweetness was left over in the aftermath.
Leaves crunched under your feet as you made your way into the park. The smell of pine and bark surrounded you, just as the pinch of cold air that struck your face. It was tranquil.
You marched your way over to a nearby tree secluded from everyone else. Setting your guitar down, you nested cozily against the wood. Your journal rest aside your hip as did the pen that exchanged your thoughts into words.
Humming quietly, your fingertips grazed the instrument’s delicate strings. Music filled the air around you, but it came to a quick stop nearly ten minutes after you’d begun.
"Hey, I know you. Y/N, right?" You heard a familiar accented voice behind you. You turned around to find Wand standing above you. "Uh yeah, that's me. What's up?" She sat down beside you, making you a little uncomfortable, but you figured you could deal with it for the sake of being nice.
"Nothing. I just saw you and thought I’d say hi. What about you? I see you have your guitar."
“Just singing,” you mumbled quietly.
She smiled and pushed a strand of hair out of your face that was blown in from the wind. "You’re really pretty." You bit your lip and you could feel the heat rise to you face. "Thanks."
"Mhm. So last time I didn't get your number, maybe I will this time?" She asked (although her eyes were begging). You couldn’t help but feel something while she bit her lip, her doe eyes unintentionally focusing on your lips.
"I'll have to give you mine, I didn't bring my phone with me – don’t use it much." You replied. She handed her phone to you and you typed your number in.
"Do you not have family or friends you keep up with?" Her brow quirked in curiosity.
"Parents died, no siblings, and no friends. I don't have many people to worry about."
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-"
"It's fine, I don't mind." She looked down in her lap before asking another question. "What about a job? Do you work?" Wanda was definitely a curious one, but each question she asked carried you in a way you’d never felt before. It was refreshing to have someone interested in you, and not your disease.
"Nope, when my parents died they left all their life savings to me. It's plenty enough for me to live on." Your fingers began lightly playing the chords of a song. It was often that you unknowingly played when you were scared or nervous. You'd only realize afterwards.
"That's good– not that your parents died, but you know, you have money and stuff. Even if it's– oh my god- "
You cracked out a laugh, causing her to look at you in terror. Noticing this, you rest a hand on her shoulder. "Wanda, it's okay. You're fine, I know what you mean." She nodded shyly and looked up to the sky.
"Hey, it's sunset! I love sunsets, I used to watch them all the time with my brother back in Sokovia." Her voice wavered at the end of her sentence, and you easily picked up on it.
"Something wrong?" You asked. She laid her head on your lap and you stiffened, but quickly relaxed. This is fine. This is okay. You set your guitar aside and began to play with her hair.
"I miss him. Pietro..." She paused for a second before continuing. "He died a couple of years ago from cancer." You felt your heart drop for the first time at the mention of the horrid disease that stripped you away from most of your life. "Oh." The word seemed to become your go-to for whenever you didn't know how to accept information you were given.
"He was the other half of me. We were twins, I felt like my whole world fell apart. After he died I moved out of my country and moved here. Since then I've made some good friends. You might like them."
“I’m sorry about your brother. I’m sure he was wonderful, Wanda.” You whispered, bringing a piece of her hair to the end of a braid. “I'm happy you've made some friends." Wanda nodded and snuggled closer in your lap. "Maybe I can be your friend?" You gave it a thought. You weren't sure you could do that to her, not with your illness anyway. Guilt nawed at you already. She’d already lost someone so beloved and close to her from it, how awful you began to feel if you had to put her through that again.
"Y/N?"
You stared at her for a few moments before answering. "I don't know, maybe." She turned over to face you, but you avoided her gaze. "I'm going to figure you out you know." You stifled a laugh, "And you'll be sorry you ever did."
"Whatever."
____
Four months passed and you thought they would be empty, meaningless months, but with Wanda nuzzling her way into your life you began to feel alive for the first time. When she came around it was like a switch you couldn't turn off.
Right now, you sat at your desk strumming your guitar while watching Nala play with a toy dinosaur you’d bought her just weeks ago. This life was good too, you thought. But it was lonely.
You weren't quite sure what Wanda meant to you yet, but you were slowly discovering that whatever the two of you had, blossomed into something more each second you spent together.
Popping a Vicodin in your mouth, your phone buzzed. It would be no one else but Wanda.
be there in a few, it's urgent.
Panic set in your body as you worried for the safety of your friend. What could possibly be the matter? Normally Wanda talked about what was bothering her.
A knock at your door brought you out of your gaze and you stumbled to answer it. Wanda was distressed, her hair a mess and her eyes red.
“Whats wro-” You were cut off By Wanda smashing her lips onto yours.
She pulled back in shock. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I-"
You shut her up by pushing her into the wall, door closing behind you. Her lips tasted of strawberry and her hands began to roam your body.
One thing led to another and you both ended up naked on your bed. How amazing it must be to wake up and know that you won’t be dead in the next few months.
"You're good. Almost too good. Where did you learn all that from having no friends?" She smirked at you. You gave her a smile and kissed her again. Your arms wrapped around her nude body and together you felt the utter bliss and excitement radiating from one another.
. . . .
Three weeks later yoy began to shake. It was hardly noticeable, and it just so happened to occur when you were playing
It’s downhill from here and you know that.
"Can you fix it? Can you fix this?" You yelled at him, despite knowing it was all your fault. If you would've just taken the treatments you wouldn't be in this place. But back then your life had no real meaning, it was just you and your cat.
You hadn't planned on falling in love with someone.
"There's nothing I can do now. Treatments won't work, it's too far gone. I'm surprised it took this long to start showing symptoms."
For the first time in years, you felt tears beginning to build in your eyes. "You don't understand, I love her and now I'm just going to leave her? This can't be happening, you have to do something!" You pleaded, but the doctor’s eyes were solemn, giving you the only reply you needed.
You stormed out of the hospital and made your way to Wanda. Silence rang through your ears.
Tell her. You have to tell her.
It will be over.
Sobs wrecked your body as you fumbled with the keys to your shared apartment. The door opened to a sight you wanted to live forever.
There she was, perched on the couch while massaging Napa’s scruffy fur. She was content, happy, and here you were to ruin it.
"Y/N? Baby what's wrong?" She got up from her spot and rushed over to you, worry etched on her face. You clung onto her for more life than you had left. And god, You weren't scared before, but you sure as hell were now.
"I have terminal cancer."
Wanda froze.
"That's not funny, Y/N. You know how I feel about this topic." Her glare was hasty, burning into your skin.
"I was diagnosed almost five months ago, please Wanda you have to believe me. I have tremors, don't you see?" You raised your hand up to show her, but she slapped it away. "You're making yourself do that, Y/N. Stop joking, or I'm leaving." She crossed her arms
"W-What?" Your chest tightened.
"I said stop joking."
"I'm not joking, Wanda!"
"I'm leaving," She huffed, snatching her jacket before slamming the door shut.
And it was true, she did leave. However, Wanda didn't leave for the reasons she gave you.
She loved you, but she couldn’t handle another loss like this.
. . . .
During the next two months you experienced the most heartache you'd ever felt before. The combination of vomiting, body aches, and dizziness didn't help. If anything, it made it worse. You missed Wanda. Everything about her gave you a reason to live.
You were on your seventh month and the pain was unbearable. It hurt to reach out for a cup of water, your hands shook uncontrollably all while sending jolts of scorching pain throughout the entirety of your arm.
Undoubtedly, the hospital bed became your next best friend (although it was the worst one you’d ever had. But it somehow managed to weasel its way back in your life).
Wanda was nowhere to be seen, and if anything that only progressed your disease. The only thing that kept you sane was your guitar, and the fact that Nala was being taken care of by a sweet, old nurse (who sometimes snuck her in so you could see her).
It was about the small things now.
More days passed and each one was getting worse. By now you just wanted to end it all on your own, but you were physically too weak to do that.
There was a knock on your door, but you ignored it thinking it was just another nurse. "Y/N?" The voice was soft, it felt like it'd been years since you last heard it. You turned your head slightly to see Wanda standing in the doorway. A weak smile formed on your face.
"Hey you."
Wanda quickly dropped her things and ran to your side. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." She mumbled over and over again as you calmly stroked her hair.
"It's okay, you know it is." You whispered in her ear. She looked up at you and shook her head, "But it's not okay, I left you when you needed me the most." You stared at her adoringly and the tips of your fingers gently rubbed away the tears from her face. "But I'm still here, aren't I?" She laughed through her cries, "Yeah... you're still here."
Both of you knew you didn't have much time left, but you ignored that other than the fact that you made her promise to take care of Nala when you were gone. She held your hand and got you everything you needed.
And you love her so deeply for that.
One night you had the feeling that your time was coming soon, so you woke Wanda up from her sleep. "Sweetheart?" She stirred a little before finally sitting up.
"Yeah?"
"Hand me my guitar?" She tilted her head, "But your shakes?" You ignored her and asked for it again.
When she handed you your beloved guitar you took it with grace. "Come help me, I wanna play a song." She nodded and came to your side.
Your fingers struggled as they strummed the delicate strings on the instrument. You picked one of Wanda's favorite, and when you were done you spoke lightly.
"My guitar is slightly out of tune, but I'm eternally yours."

Thirteenth Day of Twelve - An Epilogue You Weren't Expecting
A/N - Surprise to almost all. I wanted to write the teams reaction and I hoped I pulled it off along with other things...
. . . .
"Baby..." You moaned, as Jack crawled off you and headed for the bathroom.
She turned around with her hands on her hips, wearing only your hoodie and panties. "Didn't take you long to create that nickname."
"Shut up you like it." You smirked at her slight blush and she continued into the ensuite.
"You know I'm going to have to go home soon."
"I did not know this." You made it sound like it was the most absurd thing she's ever said. "What would posess you to do such a thing?"
"Shut up." You head the sound of flushing and then the tap. "As much as I loved spending the night and morning with you, hun. I need to get ready for work tomorrow."
You sighed, slumping back down into bed. You knew this was the inevitablity after spending almost the last 24 hours with her and only four of them were sleep. "fine. Still layout worst idea, ever."
"Well that's a lite dramatic." She smirked, standing in the doorway with her hand stretched up against the frame, making the hem of her shirt rise.
You knew it was her plan but to hell with being caught. Your eyes tracked from her feet up her toned calves, thighs that you could spend hours looking at and...
"Ahem."
"Please come here." You all but moaned.
"Ok but this time -" She walked slowly towards the bed.
"Anything you want. We agreed, now come here so I can kiss you." This time there was a groan just before Jack was in reach and you pulled her down onto you.
She left a few hours later before sunset claiming there were still chores to be done and washing to be put on. But you both agree of work wasn't busy this next week that.youd spend some 'school' nights over her place. Nothing was defined yet but neither of you cared. Whatever this was, was the best gift you'd ever gotten.
Monday morning came around and you walked into the bullpen. It looked like you were the first one into work, other than Gibbs, it was 0800. After you dumped your gear at your desk, you heard the laughter of all five of your friends walking down the main stairs. They caught your eye and all grinned like cheshire cats. You eyed them suspeciously until a certain beautiful blonde walked out of the hallway and jogged to catch them.
"Kasie you forgot-" She stopped half way down the stairs when she saw you and almost looked guilty.
Your suspicious gaze moved from the five cats to your Jack. "Okay, what the hell am I missing?" You questioned with your hands on your hips.
"Her gun is locked in the drawer right?" You heard Jimmy not so quietly whisper, taking a step back.
"Too many cameras for her to get away with six homicides." Nick added, taking a step closer to Ellie.
"Five."
"Five?" Jimmy questioned looking from you to everyone else, double checking his numbers.
"I wouldn't kill Jack." You shrugged with a smirk, locking eyes with Jack who had joined the rest of you in the bullpen.
You heard awes from you assumed Kasie and Ellie. Jack stepped through the group and came around to stand beside you behind your desk. She placed a quick peck on your cheek which you leaned into before whispering, "They all came to ask how my final present went Saturday night." She tucked your hair behind your ear before placing another kiss on your cheek.
You were meant to be smiling, she was being all touchy feely in front of the team and you had dreamed of this for months but you could only frown.
They knew?
"Here it comes." Jimmy took a step back, hiding behind Nick who was half standing behind Ellie.
"You all knew?!" You all but shouted.
The grins were back up except for Jimmy, you couldn't see his mouth.
"Known for a while actually." In walked Gibbs, squeezing past the group and sat at his desk.
"Wait he knew?!" You looked at Gibbs who was glaring at you. "Sorry- wait no I'm not. You told Gibbs?" You turned to Jack who was trying her best not to laugh but failing miserably. Her eyes always gave her away.
She intertwined your fingers, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. While your other hand still stayed on your hip. "Told him first. Had to have an inside man before I left for NOLA -"
"So Elaine didn't tell you I ordered. Jack did." Gibbs nodded slowly. "Lucky I didn't interrogate her."
"I'd pay to see that." Gibbs chuckled, your glare didn't help.
"Tim found out next then Kasie and then somehow everyone else found out." She raised a brow at Kasie.
She held up her hands. " I did my best but Nick caught me at Y/ns desk and then everyone else found out." Eyes were on Nick.
"I'm still slightly offended you couldn't trust me to keep a secret, Agent Sloane." Jimmy stepped out from behind Nick.
"Oh please you couldn't lie to save your life." Nick pointed out kind of harshly but Jimmy swayed his head and agreed.
"No offence Jimmy but I really wasn't planning on telling anyone until I got called away to NOLA."
"Called away?" You all turned to see Vance standing on the halfway landing on to stairs.
You went to let go of Jack's hand but she held on tight. "Please don't tell me-"
"Oh I figured it out on day one." Leon smiled at you.
"Only because you saw me putting the chocolates on Y/ns desk, Leon." Jack rolled her eyes and Leon shrugged.
The others laughed, Tim and Ellie going and sitting at their desks leaving Nick to rest against Ellie's desk and Jimmy and Kasie to keep standing near yours. Leon continued on his journey to his actual destination.
"Now that the cats out of the bag can we get back to work?"
"Sure." Jack answered Gibbs and then turned to you with a big smile. "Want to have lunch with me later?"
You grinned, ignoring everyone watching you. "Just us?"
"Just us."
"It'll be-" Gibbs actually stopped. Stopped mid grumble at Jack's pointed glare.
"The sooner I finish my conversation, cowboy, the sooner she'll get to work. Plus work doesn't technically start for another..." She checked her watch. "Ten minutes."
There was silence from everyone. Kasie and Jimmy slowly stepped back, retreated to the elevator while Nick walked over to his desk.
"It's a Christmas miracle." Nick joked but soon shut up when Gibbs glare moved from Jack to Nick.
"I'd love to." You beamed and leant in to kiss Jack on the cheek but she turned and you connected with her lips. You heard a flurry of clapping from behind you which could only be Ellie before you succumbed to Jack's touch before it melted away all too quickly.
"I'll come down when I'm hungry and pick you up." She smirked, the twinkle in her eye only for you to see which almost made you blush.
You could only nod and she was gone. "I still can't believe you all knew. Even-" You looked down at the clock. "Still got a few minutes. Even Gibbs." You continued and saw a smirk appear on the bosses' face.
The hunger happened at just after midday. No new case for the team so Jack grabbed your hand and tugged you out of the office. Ellie couldn't stop smiling.
"Wait Jack-" She piped up and you both stopped walking and turned.
"Was Dinner the final gift or..."
You both smirked and looked at each other before turning back to Bishop.
"Or?" Jack raised a brow while.you stayed silent. To be fair, she hadn't really clarified it either.
"You know..." Nick popped up beside Bishop, waving his finger between you both.
You couldn't help but laugh, Jack however held her poker face strong. "I do know, Nick, and that's something you'll never find out."
You groaned and Jack looked at you, your cheeks flushing, knowing what was about to happen.
"See by not answering that, you've answered it loud and clear." Nick grinned, having bested Jack Sloane, sort of.
"Well played Nicholas." She conceded. "Now I need food and a makeout session so I can get my head back in the game."
You couldn't believe the words that flew.oit of her mouth.
"I said it and I don't regret it."
Luckily the elevator doors opened and you both hopped in.
"Don't hold up the elevator!" You head Nick shout before the doors closed and you both laughed.
"That's what cars are for." You mumbled before Jack's lips were on yours, your hands immediately gripping her waist and pulling her close.
The kiss didn't last long because you hadn't held up the elevator but it was enough for you never want to stop. You'd missed her. It seemed silly but not having her beside you in bed last night just felt wrong.
"Come home with me tonight." You breathed, as she stepped away and the elevator came to a stop.
She interlaced your fingers together and walked.off the elevator. "Miss me last night?"
Even though she was being lighthearted and teasing, you saw the hope in her eyes. "Yes and this morning and about half an hour ago...sorry."
She stopped walking, tugging you close, ignoring all the people walking around you on the path. "Don't be sorry. I missed you too." With her other hand she reached up and tucked some hair behind your ear. "Missed the little purrs you make in your sleep, the steady rise and fall of your breathing, the smile I saw when I woke up Sunday morning and the constant whining-" She laughed into the kiss but it disappeared slowly and time stood still.
"Is that a yes?" You ghosted over her lips, mission the corner of her mouth, then her cheek.
"Yes." She breathed. "Yes to tonight, yes to tomorrow and yes to me being.your gift and now the dinner."
You threw your head back and laughed. She knew how to perfectly ruin a moment but make it better at the same time. "I knew it!"
Jacqueline Sloane was the perfect gift. She was a gift to whomever she met and came across and you were one lucky son of a bitch to get to call her yours for as long as she'd have you.
. . . .
Unsure how far out of character Jack may be in this one but 🤷🏼♀️ it's my own creation so who knows what JS is like behind closed doors. Hope you liked it. I'll get back to writing other things now.

Unwanted Ending
Kang Younghyun x Reader. A little bit of angst.
***
The same place, same time, same conversation and the same ending. You looked so tired in Younghyun's eyes. He's tired too. Probably. Tired of what he's doing right now. Every time the two of you meet, it always ends with a deep sighs and buried anger. No, the two of you don't scream at each other. Both of you talk in calm manner then one of you would give in and stop responding. That makes Younghyun scared. He's scared if the anger that's buried inside will explode and leave nothing. Even if Younghyun wants to open his mouth and raise his voice, he can't do that. If he does, he's afraid it will end things. This relationship of three years. Younghyun also know that lately, you've been holding on your emotions. When the two of you fight, you used to raise your voice and have a sullen face. There were times when you'd just leave him. He remembers when you left him in a restaurant and when you purposely let him waited for you for three hours in cinema. He also remembers when he was ignoring you for a whole three hours when you came to his studio. But, these days it's different. Both of you talk with a low voice and expressionless face. The two of you will just leave the unsolved problems and misunderstandings. To Younghyun, it's not normal that the two of you are so afraid to start a fight and let all the emotions buried inside.
***
It's been three days both of you haven't text or call each other. The last message was from Younghyun telling you that he couldn't make it to attend your friend's wedding because he had a sudden meeting with the singer he's working with. He got no reply from you but he also didn't make effort to call or come to your place.
A guilty feeling of thinking that you're all alone at your friend's wedding came to his mind. Younghyun closed his notebook and placed his guitar then rushed to your place. Somehow he knows what he's coming to. There are two possibilities, you're going to ignore him and tell him that you're okay or you're going to scream from the start and push him out of your place. Younghyun hopes it will be the latter. At least, he knows what he'll gonna do. He'll beg for forgiveness if you're mad. But if you just ignore it and let it pass, the tension in this relationship with you will get heavier.
***
Younghyun arrived at your place. He was just standing in front of the door for minutes. He knows your passcode so he could let himself in easily but he knows how to act accordingly. He didn't tell you in advance that he would come, so he didn't want to invade your privacy. Younghyun pressed the bell and waited for a while. He hoped you're inside and let him in. He pressed the bell once more and just right after that the door was opened but it didn't revealing who's inside. Younghyun pushed the door and came in. He saw you already walked to the living room. You didn't even let him greet you. Younghyun followed you and standing awkwardly when you sat on the couch and turned on the television. Younghyun cleared his throat to get your attention.
"Hi..." He said with a low tone.
You looked up at him with no expression. "Why are just standing there? Don't you want to sit?"
Younghyun sat beside you. He closed the gap and his heart hurt a little when you shifted your position slightly.
"I'm sorry i couldn't accompany you to your friend's wedding." He said carefully looking at your face.
"It's okay." You said, still had your eyes on the television even though you didn't even care about the show and those people on tv laughing like crazy.
"If it's not, you can tell me. I'll try to make up for that." Younghyun just looked down.
"How?"
Younghyun lifted his face and looked at you. "What?"
"How will you make up for it if i wasn't okay?" You still didn't look at him even though you could feel that he asked you to face him with his sharp eyes still looking at you.
Younghyun stayed quiet for a while. He didn't know how, actually. If it takes everything then he'll do it. "You can tell me, i'll do anything."
You turned off the television and finally looked at him in the eye. "Forget it. You don't even know how to." You stood up and walked to your bedroom.
Before you could open your bedroom door, Younghyun got in your way. He stood in front of you. They way he towered over you would make your heart fluttered in different situation. You looked up and sighed.
"What?"
"We have to talk. About us."
His stern face made you tired already. You just want to have a peaceful day. You let him in without no intention to argue. It's true that you're mad at him but you just need a time to let your anger gone away. You also missed him.
"Let's talk later. I'm tired."
Younghyun hold your shoulders with both of his hands. It's not hard enough to hurt you but it's enough to not let you move your body.
"We really need to talk." Younghyun said softly.
You pushed his hands and walked back to sit on the couch. Younghyun sat on the table so he can face you. You refused to look at him and just looked down.
"What do you want to talk?"
"Honestly i don't know where to start," Younghyun paused because he needed to think how to talk in the right way and how to lead this conversation without blaming anyone and not end up with a fight or worse, tears.
You waited for him to continue. You became so nervous all of sudden.
"Don't you think something has changed between us? I feel like we've become cold to each other." Younghyun stopped to see your expression. He carefully continued, "We've become careful to each other. It's like there's a wall between us and it's getting higher. I don't even remember the last time we laugh so freely together."
You stayed quiet because what he said is right. You feel it too and it makes you scared for how the relationship is going to somewhere you never want to think of. Whose to blame? You don't know. Younghyun has been too busy lately. You tried to understand it. You tried to take more effort to come to his studio even though it's far enough from your place. You don't mind that, really. But it's the way he's only focus on his damn guitar and computer with you sitting on the couch behind him, it made you feel like you did that for nothing. Like he's just fine if you were not there sitting like a statue.
For you, you also have enough stress going on with your personal life so you don't want to put more on your shoulders. So, whenever something is going on between you and Younghyun, you just want to let it pass. You are tired of fighting. You don't want to be stressed more.
Before the two of you give each other a silent treatment, you used to fight a lot for the past few months. It's to the point where the two of you were tired of it. So, both of you and Younghyun just holding on. You can feel it and you're sure Younghyun feel the same way that one more fight, it will end the relationship because the two of you had enough. You don't want to part away with Younghyun. You love him so much. You've been three years with him so you are already feel comfortable with him. For Younghyun, he already knew the difference between his life before you came and after you came and stay by his side for three years. You're the sunrise and the sunset of his days. He couldn't imagine if he has to live his life without you again. He already how it feels to be with you.
These days, if he can be honest, the relationship just adding more stress to his days. The days when he couldn't fulfilled his promises, the days when he's being a disappointment to you, the days when he has to say sorry, to the days when he got hurt seeing your cold face and the way you hold your tears caused by him. All of those things made his heart heavier and he wishes he can leave those behind.
You're tired too. You want to let go all of this stressful things. You don't want to have expectation that only make you disappointed at the end. Maybe, it's really the time to try to let go.
"Are you tired?" You asked Younghyun in sorrow.
Younghyun looked down and nodded his head. It's enough answer for you. It's enough for you to let your tears fall from your eyes. Tears were rolling down unstoppably when you heard he's sobbing. You want to take his hands and hug him tightly but you know you'll break down and you'll ask him to stay with you. So, you hold yourself.
This is the ending you never wanted but this is what you and Younghyun need right now.

Off The Deep End
-
Warnings: none for this chapter. Starts with fluff, ends with angst. But shits gonna hit the fan lmao
-
-
Spencer pulls up the comforters in an attempt to cover his ears from the horrendous alarm that was enveloping his room.
“Make it stop," he grumbled into an empty bed.
"It's been ringing for a little more than an hour now," he heard his favorite voice from the attached bathroom of their bedroom, "it's about time you woke up, don't you think?" She peeked through the doorway, rolling her eyes with a smile at her sleepy husband.
"I have a better idea," Spencer mumbled sleepily.
“Oh?”
"You come into bed with me." He propped himself onto his elbow, barely managing to pry his open. He glanced over to the digital alarm clock on the bedside table which read 6:15 in bright red luminescent lights.
He inhaled a sharp breath slowly sitting up in bed, stretching his arms widely. The covers fell back onto the bed as he stood up and made his way into the bathroom.
"Excuse me," Amelia looked at her husband from the mirror. He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, resting his head on her shoulder. "Occupied." She giggles as he kisses the nape of her neck.
“Can you join me in the shower?” He asked his wife, looking at her big brown eyes through the mirror.
She turned to face him, smiling sweetly, “I'm already dressed, babe.” She puts on her earrings. “Sorry.” She apologized laughing at his disappointed sigh.
“You don't have to be at work ‘til 8. That's enough time for a second shower.” He rests his forehead against hers. He gives her a look up and down, thanking all the Gods he could think of for giving him an eidetic memory.
Her style was modest and girly. Floral prints and pastel colors. Lots of dresses and skirts (which she loved to twirl and spin in).
She quickly gives him a peck on his stubbly cheek, and squirms her way out his arms. “Get ready quickly. Breakfast will be ready in 20, and I would like to eat with you before I leave for the day.”
-
Pulling the buttons on his cardigan close, he rushed into the kitchen when he heard the bacon sizzle.
“Lia,” he grumbled, quickly stuffing a few raspberries in his mouth before she could stop him, “you spoil me.” He kisses her cheek.
She gives him a toothy, childlike grin.
She loved being appreciated and praised. It made her feel giddy. And, when she felt like that, she gave this adorable smile, which was one of the many things Spencer loved. Her two front teeth, and side canines displayed themself through her smiling lips.
“Should I do the omelette?” Spence offered as he set the table.
“I was thinking of no eggs today.” She answered, pouring pancake batter onto a second pan. When he gave her a questioning look- eggs being her favorite in the mornings- she just shrugged. “The smell has been setting my stomach off for a few days now.”
After he poured the duo Orange juice, the two quickly ate, cleaned, and rushed out the door. Both said their ‘I love you's’ and parted their separate ways.
-
Amelia, being a preschool teacher, had very simple hours. From 8am, until 2 in the afternoon. After that, she was home, and usually waiting for her husband's arrival.
Spencer didn't have such a predictable schedule. Sometimes he would come home around 5 in the afternoon. Other times, if he had paperwork he wanted to wrap up, he would stay late till nearly midnight. And, of course, if a case came up, he could be gone for days.
But, regardless, whatever his schedule may be for the day, he always, always, made sure Amelia was aware of it.
Today was no different. She got home from work at about half past two. She had a feeling in her stomach. One of much excitement. A part of her wanted to wait for Spencer to come home, but a bigger part wanted to find out before him. That way, she could surprise him if she was right. And, if she wasn't- well, at least, that way, he wouldn't be disappointed also.
She tossed her handbag onto the couch of her apartment, and made a beeline for the bathroom.
After a total of three minutes, she's on the bathroom floor, one hand over her mouth, her other hand holding tightly onto a plastic stick and her eyes flowing with tears.
Happy tears.
She couldn't believe her eyes. There it was. The pregnancy stick she had bought nearly four months ago, finally in her hands reading exactly what she was hoping for.
Two solid lines, screaming, that she was going to be a mother. She wanted to call Spence straight away. She wanted to scream it off the rooftops and to the world. She wanted to call her best friend, and her mother and sister-
But first, she obviously had to tell her husband. But, not like this. She couldn't say news like this over the phone. No, she had to surprise him.
So, that's exactly what she planned on doing. Very quickly, and very happily, she got to baking. And whisking, and piping. Soon enough, she had a dozen cupcakes baked and frosted.
Some pink with blue sprinkles, some blue with pink sprinkles. She had a few topped with candles which she planned to light right before Spence came home.
Which reminded her-
Amelia paused the music which was blasting from her cell phone, and dialed her significant other.
One ring, two ring , three r-
“Hello?” She heard his voice answer.
“Hey,” she smiled widely. “Still at work?”
He hummed, “Yeah, just about wrapped up. I should be home soon.”
Amelia's stomach was storming with butterflies and she was scared, thinking, somehow, that her husband would unveil her secret through the phone. “Hurry,” she bit her bottom lip, “I have a surprise for you.”
“Oh?” She heard his voice perk up, “Is this a family friendly surprise? Or, should I just come straight to the bedroom?” She could hear a smirk playing at his lips.
“Why don't you just hurry home, and you can see for yourself.” Amelia teased.
-
Amelia must've fallen asleep watching television, because, one moment, she's watching The Real Housewives reruns at 3 something, and the next, she's waking up feeling lost in sleep at almost midnight.
She feels discombobulated for a moment until she realizes she was waiting for her husband before her unplanned nap. Confused, she looks around her quiet, empty- very dark- apartment.
Sitting up on the coach, she grabs her phone and dials Spencer's phone, simultaneously turning on a nearby lamp.
He said he'd be home soon. She thought to herself. She swallowed hard, her sleep making her mouth dry.
No rings. Straight to voicemail.
Yawning, she goes to her contacts, and dials the next best number she can think of.
After two rings, she hears an all too familiar male voice. “Hey, Amelia.”
“Hey, Derek. Sorry for waking you.” She knew she didn't wake him. She could hear the television in the background.
“Nah, mama, it's cool. What, Boy Genius not letting you sleep?” He laughed. Amelia could hear Savannah asking Morgan who's phone call he was on so late at night.
“Um- actually, that's why I called. Boy Genius isn’t home yet.” Amelia stood from the spot she was in for the past few hours, “I spoke with him earlier, and he said he'd be home around 3-ish.” She fiddled with her fingers, and an uneasy feeling in her stomach.
She could feel the confusion on the other line as Morgan quickly made an excuse, “You know, he probably turned his phone off and didn't realize it. That man is basically a caveman when it comes to technology. You know that.” Amelia started pacing her living room floor, “Don't stress, I'll call him and figure out where he is.”
The worried wife bit her inner cheek, “Thanks, Derek. Again, sorry for bothering you and the missus.” She felt guilty.
“Nothing to apologize about, Kid. I'll figure out where Pretty Boy is, and when I do, I'll eat his ear off for you.” He snickered, making Amelia smile. “Get some sleep. He’ll be home soon.”
Amelia wasn't tight-knit with Spencer's team, but she were fairly close. They were his family after all. So, it felt natural having to call Derek Morgan when Spencer hadn't come home yet. He was basically Spence’s big brother.
Saying another round of ‘thank you’s and ‘sorry’s, Amelia hung up the phone. Turning to face her kitchen counters, she saw the cupcakes she had set out in wait for her husband. Pink and blue sweets littered the countertops.
She had an uneasy feeling stirring within her. Nothing like the one she had before taking the pregnancy test. No, that was excitement. This, what she was feeling now, was all dread. With every fiber within her, she felt a strong fear.
And rightfully so.
-
Spencer was on the nose when he said he was ‘just about wrapped up’. After the call with his wife, he was more excited than usual to get home.
Spence and Amelia had what an outsider would call, puppy love. They were young, and openly affectionate. They were in what seemed to be a never-ending honeymoon phase.
Being together for 5 years, three of those as married, Spencer still looked at Amelia as if she was the reason the sun shone every morning, and she was the one who put the stars in the sky.
This was no ‘puppy love’. This was an ‘old couple sitting on a porch watching the sunset love’.
Spencer quickly packed his satchel, and because he was the last to leave the office, shut off all the lights. Taking the elevator down and quickly jogging to his parked car, he throws his bag in the passenger seat, and just as he's about to get in himself, he hears a voice call for him.
“Um- excuse me?” The curly headed brunette looks up, over his shoulder. He sees a hunched over chubby man, standing at the entrance of the parking lot. The two men lock eyes, and the stranger shows Spence a paper map from the distance. “I was a little lost, and was hoping I could just get some directions.”
The FBI agent licked his lips, and stepped a few feet away from his vehicle. “Where did you need to go?”
The chubby man made a smile which was crooked, “Question seems to be where I am now.” He laughed.
Spencer walked closer to the man who opened up the map. “Well, you're here,” he pointed at a cross section between two streets.
“And, now, where would that leave the Fish Market on Drewry Street?” He asked Spencer.
“Well, on Drewry Street, for starters.” Spence gave half a laugh, locating the street on the map.
As he pointed with his index finger, he looked up and saw the man staring intently at him. A smile took place on his lips, and before Spencer could react, or ask any questions, he felt a blunt force hit the back of his head.
Stumbling back with a grunt, the tall helpful man grabbed the back of his head, feeling warm, what he assumed was blood. “What the- agh! Mmpph!” A hand covered the agent's mouth.
In lighting speed, a windowless van pulls up beside the men. The man behind Spencer pushes him into the back of the new vehicle. The once hunched, and seemingly harmless stranger, now stood taller than Spencer. He shut the door of the van, leaving a half conscious, fully confused Spencer lying in the back. He jumped into the passenger seat of the van, and the car sped off with a screech.
Leaving behind only a skid mark on the road, and Spencer's satchel in the car, the van was long gone before any bystanders could take notice.

I HAVE A DREAM (PART 12)
Kim Hongjoong Fanfic
Warning: Angst. Cheating. Heartbreak. Cursing. Fluff.
Song for this chapter: I Have A Dream by Amanda Seyfried
Here it is fellow atiny’s and kpop stans! The song that inspired this whole story! The scenario of someone watching the moon high up while singing this song came to my mind and I wanted to write a story about it but I didn’t know how. Sooner or later Hongjoong came to mind as well as the plot of a baby in the picture so ta-da I Have A Dream was born 😁😁 I hope you guys liked this weeks update, I really really loved writing this part as it was what inspired this whole thing. I hope you guys loved it as much as I do and without further ado... Here’s part 12 of IHAD
Y/N lets out a shuddered breath as the beginnings of the cold fall air dances all around her. The tips of her ears and nose turning pink from the chilling temperature and she huffs in annoyance, a small cloud of warmth emitting in front of her. She rolls her eyes at the sight, small puffs of warm air coming out of her mouth repeatedly. How I hate the cold temperature.
To her right stands Kyung Mi in a dark blue jean jacket thrown on top of a black graphic oversized hoodie, black pants and black boots completing the whole look. Y/N was dressed up in a black long sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans and beige slip-on shoes along with a long beige trench coat completing her look.
To say that Y/N was feeling herself was a complete understatement, the outfit gave her a mature and sophisticated rich mom look. Although Y/N never dressed up that often especially for dinner, she was honestly bored of the plain old maternity dresses. Ever since her belly has started to show and her clothes started to fit less and less, the only thing her body would allow to fit under her boobs and over her growing belly were dresses and baggy shirts (occasionally some leggings).
The black long sleeve made her stomach and boobs look amazing, the jeans that she had recently purchased lifting up her booty and supported the bottom of her belly without causing discomfort. The long beige trench coat adding a chic finish and Y/N honestly loved it.
Kyung Mi watches her pregnant best friend in amusement, the red, orange and purple light's of the sunset ahead of them causing her melanin golden skin to sparkle like diamonds. Soft waves of hair cascading down her chin and past her breast, enveloping her in a halo of beautiful fluffy shiny hair.
She was honestly glowing and Kyung Mi loved how confident she felt, the events from the past few days pushed behind to at least have fun tonight. The cold temperature dampens the mood slightly but honestly, this was the first time in a long time that Y/N has gone out and enjoyed herself with friends and she would be damned if Hongjoong continued to ruin her life.
They continued to walk towards the small family restaurant located in front of where Y/N works before finally hearing the familiar loud laughter and chatter coming from the building. Kyung Mi walks slightly in front of Y/N to open the door for her, letting her walk in first then following close behind her. “ You know it's gonna be kinda awkward for me right..?” Kyung Mi mumbles out to Y/N as they both scan the tables around them for the rest of the guys.
“ What do you mean?” Y/N asks her back before hearing her name being called towards her left, turning towards that direction and spotting San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Yunho huddled in a spacious booth. “ I've only ever meet San and Yeosang. Don't you think it'll be weird that I'm here?” Kyung Mi rushes out as she walks after Y/N feeling slightly nervous to meet the guys that have been “protecting” Y/N so far.
“ Don't worry about it, I'm sure they'll love you since I love you so don't worry about it.” Y/N smiles up at Kyung Mi, internally screaming at how tall her best friend is. “ Awww y/n~~~~ this is the first time you say you love me out loud” She says, bringing both her hands up and placing them on top of her heart while she fake sobs. Y/N shakes her head while giggling to herself, mumbling goofball under her breath before finally stopping in front of the booth.
“ Guys, I would like you to meet Kyung Mi. She's a teacher in the school here and she's also my best friend.” Y/N says as she introduces her tall awkward friend to the group of guys. Mingi and Yunho quickly stick out their hands and introduce themselves with giant goofy smiles causing Kyung Mi to relax a little. “ Hey Kyung Mi! I'm San, we meet a couple days ago when I brought Y/N home.” San says as he helps Y/N take off her coat and hang it on a stand next to the booth they are sitting.
Kyung Mi greets him with a small wave and a smile before someone clearing their throat catches her attention. Facing the rest of the guys, she turn towards the only one left to introduce himself watching as he gives her a charming smile.
“ It's nice to meet such a beautiful lady! My name is wooyoung, and you are...?” He says in a soothing charming voice that would cause any girl to swoon on the spot, but it only causes Kyung Mi to internally cringe and scream. From the corner of her eye she sees San and Y/N trying their hardest to keep in their laughs, causing Kyung Mi to sigh in annoyance.
Keeping eye contact with Wooyoung, she summons the best friendly smile she can before finally speaking.
“ Gay, very much gay.” she states firmly, causing Mingi and Yunho to laugh at the look of disbeliefef plastered on wooyoung's face. Shaking his head, wooyoung gives her a big smile and sticks out his hand out “ In that case, we can both be each other’s wing person” He cheers out causing Kyung Mi to break out in a big grin and San yell at him from his side of the booth.
Putting her hand into wooyoung's slightly bigger one, she gives it a firm shake smiling back at him. “ My name is Kyung Mi and I'll like that.” she says with a laugh, finally sitting down and all of them starting to search the menu for food.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Y/N lets out a big sigh once she got home, belly full of delicious food making her feel sleepy.
After finishing up her dinner with Kyung Mi and the guys, they both walked home with Y/N being dropped off first then Kyung Mi walking a couple houses down before getting home as well.
“ Hey baby sis! How was dinner?” Youngji calls out as he hears the front door close, Y/N walking into the living room a couple seconds after. Plopping down on the sofa, she lifts up her legs and sets them on Youngji’s lap. “ Can you help me take off my shoes? And dinner was fun! How’s hwanwoong and the rest of the guys doing?” She asks as her brother takes off her shoes and begins massaging her ankles.
“ I'm glad you had fun, although I still don't trust them 100% and hwanwoong and the guys are doing great. This break is doing us good, I'm honestly going to cry when I have to go back.” Youngji says as he continues to rub Y/N’s swollen ankles, keeping his eyes on the show in front of him.
“ I bet, how many weeks do you have left ?” Y/N asks, taking her feet off her brother's lap and getting up walking towards the kitchen. “ Just 2 more weeks before finally going back. Do you plan on going back to Seoul yet or are you staying here for the whole pregnancy?” Youngji questions as he watches his sister take out a glass and fill it with apple juice.
“ I think I'll go back to Seoul when I'm around 6 months. I'll go to my regular appointments here but I want to give birth over there. Y’know the hospital mom gave birth to us.” Y/N says as she takes sips of her juice, finishing it up in three large gulps.
“ I think that's a good idea! You can stay with me when your in Seoul and I think mom would love for you to have the baby in the same hospital. I think she would cry to be honest.” Youngji finishes off with a laugh, already visualizing their mother crying at Y/N deciding to have her baby at the same hospital they were born at.
Both siblings laugh together before finally letting silence invade the small kitchen. “ Well I'm gonna go to sleep now, that dinner made me a little sleepy so I'll head up first.” Y/N says as she heads towards the stairs leading upstairs, picking up her discarded coat and hanging it up in the bottom banister.
Youngji walks up to her and gives her a kiss on the forehead, leaning down and kissing his sisters stomach. “ Alright, you and my niece have a good sleep. Call my name if you need anything.” he finished off patting her stomach and watching her steps as she goes up the stairs.
Humming out, Y/N continues up the stairs and towards her room softly closing the door and shuffling towards her queen sized bed. Sitting down she carefully removes her pants and leans down to pull them over her feet. Standing back up she makes her way towards her wardrobe and takes out a pair of sweatpants and a grey hoodie, pulling her sweatpants up then taking her shirt off and replacing it with the hoodie.
Taking ahold of her flowy soft hair, she gathers it all up and ties it down as a low ponytail. Tucking away any loose strands, she walks towards her big window that outlooks the back of her house.
Watching the trees sway with the wind, she catches a glimpse of the crystal clear lake that locals use for fishing. Staring at it for a couple of seconds, she grabs a pair of slip-on shoes and walks towards her door. Making sure to not make any noise, she opens and closes her door as carefully as she can. Tiptoeing down the stairs, she checks to see her brother in the living room dozing off.
Taking that as her chance, she quietly grabs her big coat and puts it on walking towards the back of the house and slipping out through the back door.
Walking through the green bushes and falling leaves, she takes the path from her house towards the lake hearing the soothing sounds of nature envelop her like a blanket. Deep in thought, she fails to realize that she started to slowly sing the song her mother used to sing for her and her brother.
Continuing her walk towards the lake, she rubs soothing circles on her belly as she steadily sings the song to her bump.
I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream, I have a dream
I'll cross the stream, I have a dream
Y/N softly sings the last part of the song to her belly, eyes sparkling with love and a small smile placed on her soft slightly chapped lips.
Sitting down on a big rock overviewing the entire lake, she admires the big bright full moon shinning down on the clear calm water. Closing her eyes, she takes in the air delicately flowing all around her lifting up various leaves and flying them into the clear lake.
Continuing her humming, she leans back into her arms and opens her eyes slightly to look at the big moon watching over her. Her peaceful moment gets interrupted by the familiar voice of a Shiba Uni plush loving dancer.
“ With a voice like that, I'm surprised you never thought about being a singer.” San says as he slowly walks up to the pregnant women a couple of feet away from him, watching as she snaps her head up and sets her eyes on him.
“ What are you doing here San? How did you know I was here?” Y/N questions as San finally stands next to her and sits down next to her, making sure to leave some space between them as to not make her uncomfortable.
“ I was going to ask your brother for permission to walk you to work tomorrow, but instead I saw you sneaking out through the back and I decided to follow you. I gotta say.. This place is absolutely breathtaking.” San says as he takes in the view in front of him, the light from the full moon hanging in the sky making the water sparkle like diamonds.
“ I wasn't sneaking out, I just needed some fresh air and it is isn't it? I found it two days after I moved here.” Y/N whispers out, the view of the lake causing her tense shoulder to finally drop. San hums in acknowledgement, looking at her for a couple seconds before turning his gaze back towards the sparkling lake.
They both sit together in complete silence, listening to the small chirps of the crickets and hoots of a family of owls nearby. They watch as the wind continues to blow leaves into the air, small yellow and orange fronds dancing all around them before finally landing on the water in front of them.
The silence lasts only a couple minutes before Y/N ends up breaking it, catching the attention of San. “ I heard that the reason why you guys came here... was because you guys were fighting with Hongjoong... Mingi said that you guys excluded him from everything outside the company.” She whispers out, turning her head towards San and watching as he avoids her glaze.
“ Yeah... We avoided him the best we could when it wasn't related to performing or interviews. All of us felt resentment towards ourselves and him... for driving you away from us.” He mumbles out, continuing to watch the leaves flow into the water.
“ But... Why? I mean we all had a good friendship going and I honestly considered you guys family... But why let someone like me ruin such a close bond that you guys had. I'm a nobody, to you and the public. What could you guys possibly gain from ruining your friendship with Hongjoong just to gain mine back..?” She says, sitting up straighter and waiting for San to answer.
“ You're wrong. To us you aren't a nobody... You are family to us. So many of us depend on you when we're feeling down. You're the only one who knows how to calm down Jongho when he's feeling irritated or sad. You're the only one that Yeosang feels 100% comfortable to talk too openly. Wooyoung and Mingi practically run to you when their backs are hurting. You know how to keep up with Yunho’s energy and know when it's appropriate for him to tone it down. Seonghwa hyung always goes to talk to you when he feels like he's not being a good older brother to us, and even though I dislike the fact that I'm bringing him up right now you knew how to put Hongjoong in his place and drag him out of the studio. You have helped me feel so much better multiple times when I was feeling self-conscious. We honestly felt so lost when you left, and even though you already forgave us we will continue to ask for your forgiveness multiple times over and over again.” San finishes off, observing as Y/N’s eyes begin to sparkle with unshed tears.
Flashing a smile at him, she turns back towards the moon and basks in the glow it provides for her and San. “ I'm glad you guys feel like that towards me.. And hopefully in the near future, I feel that way towards you guys again.” Y/N lets out, causing San to shake his head and chuckle out. “ I hope so too.” He whisper out.
“ Can you guys do me a small favor though..?” She asks as she turns her head back towards him. Without waiting for him to answer, she quickly continues to speak. “ Can you guys be nice to him, please. I admit he's not my favorite person in the world.. but I honestly don't want you guys to keep on fighting. It's obviously affecting the group and I'll hate for you guys to get in trouble with your company because Hongjoong knocked up his girlfriend while he was cheating on her. I want what's best for Ateez as a whole so please let's just settle all the drama aside and continue to grow like a team.” she finishes off, turning her body towards San and waiting for his answer.
Staring at her for a couple seconds, San reaches a hand forward and softly places it on her belly. “ I'll do anything for you and that beautiful baby of yours princess.” He says, watching as her cheeks immediately flare-up red from the nickname he just used.
Coughing out a thank you, she turns her body back towards the water in front of her to hide away from his piercing gaze. San lets out a laugh in amusement and turns back towards the water as well as to not embarrass Y/N any further.
The distance between them seemed to grow smaller during their talk, body’s a couple inches from each other but hands nearly touching.
San shifts his hand to a better position, instead touching fingertips with Y/N’s own hand. Snapping her head towards him, she watches as he's the one turning his head away in embarrassment now cheeks gaining a rosy color.
Shaking her head, she continues to look on to the beautiful scenery in front of her while slowly inching her hand towards San’s. San seems to be doing the same as the tips of their fingers touch again, but this time they both don't jump away from it.
Slowly but surely the rest of their fingers start to crawl on top of each other's, cold from the freezing air around them. Moving their hands closer together, this time the palms of their hands meet together.
Hands tightly clamped between each other, they both hold on as tight as they can sneaking looks at one another.
With rapidly beating hearts, red flushed cheeks and grins that reach their eyes they both continue to gaze at the moon. The light from the big bright moon shining down on them, and wrapping them both up in a glow as if the moon is saying they belong together.
