Crocomom AU where after years of arguing with young Luffy, Garp comes up with a compromise: Luffy can be a pirate only if he aims to become a Warlord of the Sea. So, Garp is like “Well if you’re going to be a Warlord you’re going to have to do it by climbing the ranks so I’m putting you with the only one of them I think could do right by you: Sir Crocodile.” And that’s how Mister 0.5 joins Baroque Works.

Thank you guys so much for following along, and reading, liking, sharing, commenting. And without further ado let the adventure begin!
Word Count: 11K
Sanji POV…
It had been a few days since we arrived at Zou. The destruction we witnessed, the carnage left behind, still lingered in my mind. The Mink Tribe had faced an invasion, and with the help of Chopper, Tristan, Miagi, and that no-good Caesar—by force, of course, since the annihilation was caused by one of his damned gases—they managed to treat the injured. Although we were initially perceived as a threat, Wanda quickly realized we weren’t part of Jack’s crew when Tristan and Pedro vouched for us.
But now, as I stood here with Nami, Chopper, Brook, and Caesar, facing off against Pekoms and Capone Bege, I realized that I faced a new kind of challenge.
Pekoms, grateful we saved the Mink Tribe, had been ready to call Big Mom and tell her the mission failed.
“What are you talking about? What mission?” I demanded, already gearing up for a fight.
Before I could blink, Bege shot Pekoms. My eyes widened as I watched the blood spray, leaving Pekoms crumpled in a heap.
“Where’s the girl, Blackleg?” Bege growled, eyes sweeping the room as if searching for someone.
“If you’re thinking about hurting Nami, you’ve got another thing coming!” I spat, as Nami, Chopper, Brook, and even Caesar were bound in chains.
“Why don’t you come inside so we can discuss this like gentlemen,” Bege sneered, ushering us all into his fortress-like body.
He poured wine as if nothing had happened. “Now, Blackleg, I won’t ask again. Where’s the girl?”
“What girl?” I snapped, still trying to figure out how the hell we were going to get out of this.
“The one named Princess Y/N,” he said, his voice colder now.
My breath caught. I barely managed to stifle my gasp.
“Why the hell do you want her?” I demanded, anger boiling inside me. How dare he even mention her name.
“Take it easy, Blackleg,” he said, pulling out two invitations and tossing them at me. “You’re set to marry the 35th daughter of the Charlotte Family, Pudding.” He gestured toward the paper, where it was written clear as day: Groom: Vinsmoke Sanji. Bride: Charlotte Pudding.
“What?!” Nami, Chopper, and Brook yelled in unison, their eyes wide in shock.
“Sanji! What gives?!” Nami struggled against her binds.
“Tea party, my ass,” I growled. “I’m not going to Big Mom’s tea party, and I’m definitely not marrying her daughter! Besides, I’m already engaged to be married—and that’s with Y/N!”
“What?!” Nami, Chopper, and Brook echoed once again, even more confused now.
Brook leaned toward Nami and muttered, “I just know this is a one-sided marriage, because the last time I checked, Y/N didn’t agree to anything, let alone marriage.”
Before they could react, Bege revealed a second invitation, the paper unfolding slowly like some twisted joke.
“She was also invited to Mama’s tea party, but as a bride herself,” Bege said, his voice thick with amusement.
The second invitation read: Groom: Vinsmoke Ichiji. Bride: Princess Y/L/N, Y/N.
My world tilted. My hands clenched, fists trembling in rage.
“What the hell is this?!” I growled, my voice dark and deadly. “I’ll be damned if I let them near her, let alone marry one of those bastards.”
Bege leaned back, as if enjoying the show. “Your father put in that invitation. Since she’s going to be a bride to the first child of the Vinsmokes, Judge thought it fitting to have all his children reunited for the occasion. Her wedding will be held first, and then yours will follow,” he said, savoring every word.
I gritted my teeth, barely able to contain myself. "Over my dead body."
“Oh, and if you’re wondering where your charming older brother is, Vinsmoke Ichiji would’ve been here today, but he’s busy handling ‘business’ for Judge. He’s very eager to see his bride-to-be. Apparently, he was the one who pushed to make this marriage happen, and Judge went along with it.”
My blood boiled at the thought of Ichiji, of him thinking he could lay a finger on Y/N. I’ll kill him before I let that happen.
“You’re playing with fire, Bege,” I hissed, glaring at him. “And trust me, you’ll get burned.”
Bege grinned, clearly amused by my outburst. “Just remember, Blackleg. If you don’t cooperate, it’s not just your life on the line—it’s hers too. And you wouldn’t want that now, would you?”
I clenched my fists even tighter, the weight of it all pressing down on me. My mind raced, thinking of Y/N and what Ichiji might do if I wasn’t there to protect her.
Y/N POV..
I lay beside Law, breathing softly, feeling the weight of exhaustion. “Alright, let’s get you fixed and healed,” said Leo, his little needle poised for action. I glanced up, smiling at him despite the pain. “So you must be Leo. I’ve heard so much about you.”
Leo blushed, a hint of fluster creeping onto his cheeks at the compliment. I turned to the other figure beside him. “And you must be Princess Mansherry. The pleasure’s all mine,” I said with a soft smile.
Leo, now positioned on top of me, made me hiss in pain. “Princess, we may need to remove this dress, as it won’t let me get to the injury,” he said, still blushing.
“You’re right. This corset dress will only wear me down and won’t let you access the wound,” I replied in a hushed tone. I slowly turned to face Law, who was already looking at me, his gaze intense and concerned.
I then looked over at Cavendish, who was wearing a shirt that might help the process. “Cabbage, I know this may be forward of me, but do you mind lending me your white shirt and… ripping my dress with your sword?” I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
Cavendish blushed, clearly taken aback by my request. “Princess… I—”
“Oh come on, Cabbage! Don’t get all flustered now,” I groaned, rolling my eyes playfully. “Just do it already!”
With a chuckle, Cavendish finally relented. “Alright, alright. Just don’t blame me if this goes horribly wrong.” He carefully sliced the fabric of my dress, his movements precise yet gentle, ensuring I wouldn’t feel more pain than necessary.
As the material fell away, I took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of vulnerability and relief. “Thank you, Cabbage,” I said softly, meeting his gaze for a moment before looking back at Leo.
“Is this better?” I asked, and he nodded as he got to work on my injured torso and side.
Cavendish kept trying to look away, his cheeks flushing ever so often, while I noticed Law's cheeks were also a darker shade of red. I smirked, feeling a playful spark. “Law, if you wanted to get a look at me this way, you could have just asked,” I chuckled, teasing him.
Leo focused intently, and as he finished sewing up my torso and side, I felt the familiar warmth of Princess Mansherry's healing powers begin to flow through me. A soothing sensation washed over my injuries, and I started to feel a bit better with the process.
“What a surprise, I never knew there were little people in Dressrosa, and their princess can heal injuries like magic—something out of a fairy tale,” Cabbage commented, glancing between Leo and Princess Mansherry with astonishment.
I smiled at both of them, their dedication lifting my spirits. “You two are incredible. Thank you for everything,” I said softly, my breath steadying.
Leo gave a shy smile, clearly flustered. “It’s nothing, Princess. I’m just glad I can help.”
“Alright, Princess, I’ll need you to turn on your left side so I can tend to your right arm,” Leo instructed gently. I carefully shifted, holding my dress up to cover what was necessary.
“And don’t forget about my right palm, Leo,” I added, watching him as he worked.
He nodded, his focus on stitching up my wounds. “Got it! I won’t miss a thing.”
While I let Leo and Mansherry do their work, I noticed Cabbage glancing toward the palace. His expression seemed distant. “How’s it looking?” I asked, my energy slowly returning, feeling less pain in my arm.
“Honestly, I can’t tell from here,” Cabbage replied, his tone more serious now.
“All done, Princess!” Leo said proudly as he finished stitching up my arm and palm, Mansherry’s healing abilities working wonders to speed up the recovery.
I sat up, holding my front to keep the torn dress in place. “Thank you both so much,” I said with sincerity, extending my hand for them to climb on.
After they hopped off, I turned to Cabbage, feeling a playful smirk form. “Now, about that arrangement regarding your shirt…”
Cabbage smirked back, catching onto my tease. “Oh? Does the princess plan to keep it as a souvenir? I’m starting to think you just wanted an excuse for me to be shirtless,” he quipped with a playful wink.
I rolled my eyes, a chuckle slipping out. “Believe me, I can live without it.”
Cabbage handed me his shirt, still grinning. As I slipped it on, the soft fabric hung loosely, the V-neck dipping just enough to reveal a hint of my chest. It stopped mid-thigh, making me feel somewhat exposed, but it was better than the torn dress.
"Fits like a charm," Cabbage teased, crossing his arms with a smirk.
Law shot him a glare, wincing as Leo continued stitching his arm.
"And done, Law-land!" Leo chirped, while Princess Mansherry used her healing powers to help speed up Law's recovery. After a few moments, the pain in his arm began to ease.
Cabbage and I sat together in a comfortable silence, both of us glancing occasionally toward Law, who lay down on the grass, his eyes fixed on the top of the palace. “They say your arm should be back in working order as soon as the blood begins to circulate,” Cabbage said, casting a glance at Law.
“I know... I'm a doctor,” Law muttered.
I turned to him, placing my hand gently over his, giving it a reassuring squeeze before letting go. Law blinked and glanced at me for a second, his expression softening before he turned his focus back to the palace.
“When I saw that underground port, one thing became clear,” Cabbage started again, his voice serious. “This is much bigger than one man. Even if we defeat Doflamingo, the battle won’t be over. It'll send ripples across the world, and all eyes will be on you and Strawhat."
Law opened his eyes, staring at the sky for a moment, absorbing Cabbage’s words. "Yeah... that was the plan," Law replied quietly, his gaze returning to the palace, his mind already thinking ahead to what came next.
Just then, a loud crash echoed through the town as something massive fell from the palace.
"What the hell just happened?!" I exclaimed, scrambling to my feet despite still feeling the effects of the battle.
"Y/N, get back," Law warned, his tone serious.
"Not when my captain might be down there, Law!" I shot back, glancing to make sure my blades were still secured at my sides.
“Strawhat! He’s so different now. If he can overpower Doflamingo, then he must be strong,” Cabbage noted, his eyes wide with admiration.
“Yeah, but he’s overusing his Haki,” Law pointed out, concern lacing his voice.
I clenched my left hand, feeling the familiar power of the ring coursing through me. “With this damn Birdcage shrinking, it’s only going to make matters worse,” I said, casting a worried glance at Law.
Just then, King Riku’s voice boomed over the chaos, making an announcement to the entire town of Dressrosa. “We just need to deal with one tyrant—Doflamingo! The brave soul facing him is Luffy from the Straw Hats! I must remind you all of one thing: win or lose, try to survive no matter what it takes. I implore you to keep running, for a few minutes, please try to survive!”
His words echoed through the town, a beacon of hope amid the chaos. “There is still hope for us, which is why you mustn't surrender yet!” King Riku urged, his voice steady and strong.
“What a devastating blow…” Cabbage murmured, his expression shifting. “Wait, did Luffy—”
I felt a glimmer of relief that this nightmare might be over as I slowly made my way toward Law and Cabbage. “Wait! Look at the sky!” Law exclaimed, his voice sharp.
“No…” I breathed, my heart sinking as I looked up. “Damn Birdcage is still there!”
“Damn!” I yelled in frustration. “Doflamingo isn’t dead yet.”
“Damn it! We gotta do something!” I insisted, feeling anger boil within me. My eyes fell on Luffy, who was hitting the ground hard. “Luffy!” I shouted. “What happened?!”
“Hahahah!” A voice rang out from above us, and my stomach dropped.
“That’s Jesus Burgess! What’s he doing here?!” Cabbage exclaimed.
“Shit! I gotta do something now!” I declared, ready to charge down to confront him. But as I moved, pain shot through my sides, causing me to stumble back.
“Y/N, wait!” Law warned, concern etching his features.
Suddenly, I sensed someone approaching from my side. A girl with short red hair stood before me. “Who are you?” I demanded, defensive.
Cabbage tensed, ready to stand, but I raised my hand. “Don’t.”
“My, it’s so nice to finally meet you, actually,” she said, stepping forward and wrapping me in a hug. I froze, unsure whether to reciprocate or push her away.
“Oh right!” she exclaimed, stepping back slightly. “My name is Koala,” she introduced, holding up a transponder snail.
Just then, a familiar voice crackled through the device. “Koala, can you hear me?” It was Sabo. My eyes widened, and I noticed Koala’s smile.
“Yeah, I can hear you. Don’t worry, you need to get to downtown. Burgess is on his way to Luffy,” she said urgently.
“I’m on my way!” Sabo replied, determination lacing his tone, ready to protect his brother.
Koala turned to look at me, smiling. I met her gaze with tears in my eyes. "He’s okay," I thought, feeling a wave of relief wash over me.
“Actually, Sabo, before you go, I have someone you might want to hear,” Koala said, smirking as she handed me the transponder snail.
“Koala, I don’t have ti—” he started, but I cut him off.
“Sabo…” I whispered, my heart racing.
“Y/N!” he exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of relief and anguish. “You’re okay! Are you hurt? Oh my god!”
I chuckled, tears still glistening in my eyes. “I’m fine, Sabo, but I need you to help Luffy. Burgess can’t get to Luffy; I’ll see what I can do with Doflamingo, even if I have to buy some time again.”
“Don’t be stupid, Y/N!” Sabo shot back, frustration and worry evident in his voice.
“I know it’s risky,” I said, determination filling my voice. “But I can’t just sit back while Luffy’s in danger. I have to do something!”
“He’s right!” Law reiterated, his voice cutting through the tension as he eyed me with concern.
“Sabo, just try to keep Burgess off Luffy’s back,” I said, determination clear in my tone. “I’ll handle whatever comes my way up here. You focus on him.”
Sabo let out a short laugh, the kind that said he knew me all too well. “You’ve always been reckless. Even when we first met, you threw yourself headfirst into danger without a second thought.”
I couldn’t help but smirk, rolling my eyes. “I haven’t changed much, have I?”
“Not at all,” he teased through the transponder snail. “Just try not to get captured again. I’ve got enough on my hands without having to worry about saving you.”
I chuckled softly, wiping away the emotional tension that had built up. “I’ll be fine, Sabo. I’ve survived worse. Just get Burgess away from Luffy and we’ll be one step closer to ending this nightmare.”
He let out a sigh, half amused, half exasperated. “Fine, fine. But I swear, Y/N, you’ve got this habit of making things harder for yourself. Just don’t push too far.”
“Look who’s talking,” I shot back, grinning. “You’re not exactly known for playing it safe.”
“That’s fair,” he admitted with a laugh. “Just keep your head on straight. And Y/N?”
“Yeah?”
“Save a little of that fight for when we see each other again, okay? I owe you for always running headfirst into danger.”
I smiled, a deep warmth settling over me. “Deal.”
I handed the transponder snail back to Koala.
“You sure you’ll be alright?” she asked, concern lacing her voice.
I turned behind me to eye both Law and Cabbage. “Yeah, besides I gotta make sure this one…” I said, kneeling down to grab Law’s cheeks, eliciting a slight gasp from him, “makes it out okay as well.”
Law’s cheeks began to turn pink, and I couldn’t help but chuckle at his reaction. “You really have a way of making things interesting, don’t you?” he teased, trying to regain his composure.
“Only the best for you, Law,” I replied, grinning.
“Koala, please make sure you’re safe as well,” I added, smiling at her.
She returned my smile before jumping off the cliff, heading into town to find Sabo. As I turned back to Law and Cabbage, I felt a rush of determination. Just as I was about to sit back down, both Law and I were suddenly teleported to a new location.
“Wait!” I exclaimed as we hit the ground. “You could have told me you were going to shamble us, you know,” I muttered, struggling to get up. I lifted my head and saw someone carrying Luffy, surrounded by others.
“Luffy!” I shouted, starting to make my way toward them.
“Woah! It can’t be! Trafalgar Law, the Warlord, and Princess Y/N! From the strawhat pirates!” someone exclaimed, eyes wide.
“Wait a sec, are you running too far away? Is Strawhat going to get his Haki back or not?” Law asked, irritation lacing his voice.
“Yeah, well, Strawhat said he needed ten minutes, and we have about three and a half left,” the bystander replied.
“Good, I’ll distract Doflamingo then,” I said, clenching my fists as electricity and fire coursed through me.
“Don’t you dare, Y/N!” Law shouted, anguish flooding his voice as he struggled to get up.
“Law, that decision isn’t yours to make. I will protect my captain and you, even if it kills me,” I replied firmly, urgency flooding my heart. “Luffy can handle the rest when the time comes.”
“Damn it, you’re always so reckless!” Law shot back, frustration etched on his face. “You think I can just sit back and watch you throw yourself into danger? What if something happens to you?”
“Something already happened to me, Law!” I snapped, my fears bubbling to the surface. “I’ve been hurt before, and I’m still here! I can’t just do nothing!”
His eyes softened, a storm of emotions swirling within them. “I don’t want to lose you. Not again.”
The weight of his words pressed down on me, and I felt my heart clench. “You won’t lose me, I promise,” I said, trying to reassure him even as uncertainty gnawed at me. “Just trust me.”
He turned to the bystander, his tone commanding. “Give Luffy to me. I’ll take care of everything from here.”
I turned back to Law, wanting to lighten the mood. “Do you still have the tiara I gave you?”
He pulled it out, a flicker of a smile breaking through the tension. “What, you think I’d forget something so precious?”
I took it from him, warmth flooding my chest. Leaning in, I planted a quick kiss on his cheek. “Just making sure you remember me,” I teased, my voice wavering slightly.
He rolled his eyes, but the hint of a smile lingered. “Yeah, yeah.”
“Now, I’m ready.” I clenched my left hand, activating its power as I leaped into the air, determination surging through me, even as Law’s worried gaze burned into my back
I soared through the sky for a moment, scanning for Doflamingo. "Where did this bastard go..." I thought, frustration building.
Just then, I spotted Doflamingo alongside Viola and Rebecca. "Viola, Rebecca?!" I thought, shock coursing through me. What the hell are they doing here?! I watched as Rebecca lunged at Viola with her weapon, and my heart sank. "Shit, she's being controlled," I realized. "Doflamingo!"
I landed behind him, my voice steady despite the chaos. He turned, a mocking smile spreading across his face. “My, well if it isn’t my princess,” he purred, feigning surprise. Doflamingo’s eyes sparkled with amusement as he manipulated Viola’s strings, hanging her helplessly. "Now what brings you here?" he asked, an almost predatory glint in his gaze.
“I came to see you,” I said, infusing my voice with a sultry tone. “You don’t need them. You want someone strong, someone who will give you a real challenge.” I took a deliberate step closer, feeling the tension crackle in the air.
“You’ve changed from the outfit,” he observed, his gaze roving over me with a hunger that sent chills down my spine.
He suddenly released Viola and Rebecca, who rushed to each other. “Viola!” Rebecca yelled, enveloping her in a relieved hug. "Good, they’re safe," I thought, relief washing over me. I glanced at Viola, who looked at me with a mix of confusion and gratitude. I smiled, silently hoping she would understand my intentions.
“Princess, I must say you really do know how to surprise me,” Doflamingo said, a blend of intrigue and desire evident in his voice. His fascination was palpable, and I could sense the shift in his demeanor as I drew closer, determined to keep his focus on me and away from the chaos unfolding around us.
“What’s the matter? Are you not intrigued by your little princess’s transformation?” I teased, stepping even closer, daring him to take the bait.
"I'm not surprised you’re here, but I must say, I've never felt this intense of a rush before until today, Doffy." I stepped closer, my voice steady despite the danger.
He raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. “Is that so? You always were one to draw attention,” he replied, his tone dripping with amusement.
I stepped closer, “When you kissed my neck,” I said, a playful edge to my voice, “I yelped in surprise. I wondered what else you could do with that mouth of yours.” My gaze roamed over him, drinking in his reaction.
Doflamingo chuckled softly, the sound low and dangerous. “You’re playing a dangerous game, princess.”
I continued, undeterred. “When Baby 5 took me to your quarters and I saw how spacious your room was, I couldn’t help but wonder... what if you had come in instead of her? What if it was you giving me the outfit you chose for our little game?” My blades began to glow faintly, a flicker of power at my fingertips.
Doflamingo's eyes darkened, intrigue flickering in their depths. “And as I recall, you said I would be begging for mercy, but let’s be honest: is it mercy you crave, or something more?”
He stepped closer, the tension between us thickening. “And when you found me in that office,” I challenged, “tell me, how hard was it to resist acting on those inner desires that plagued your mind from the moment I set foot in Dressrosa?”
“You want the truth, princess?” His voice was low, a rasp that sent an involuntary shiver through me. “The moment I saw you step foot into Dressrosa, I knew you’d be trouble. But I couldn’t stop thinking about what it would feel like to break you... or to have you willingly surrender.”
His hand moved lower, tracing the line of my collarbone as he spoke. “In that office, I was this close—" he pinched the air between his thumb and forefinger, "—to letting those desires take over. You, standing there, trying to play your games with me... every time you talked back, every glance you threw my way, made it harder not to act.”
He chuckled darkly, his fingers now trailing dangerously close to my throat. “You have no idea how tempting it was to claim you right then and there, make you mine in ways no one else ever could. But patience, my dear, is a virtue—one I rarely indulge in, but for you… I’m willing to wait. Because when I do take you, it will be on my terms, when you least expect it.”
His hand lingered, the air between us growing heavier with each passing second. “I’ve never been one to resist what I want, princess. And I’ve wanted you from the moment I saw that fire in your eyes. You act so tough, so defiant. But deep down, I know there’s a part of you that wants to see how far you can push me... and how far I’ll take you.”
I could feel the heat of his gaze burning through me as he leaned in, his breath hot against my ear. “So tell me, Y/N, what’s more dangerous? The game we’re playing now... or the moment when I finally decide to stop playing and make you mine?”
The weight of his confession hung in the air, thick with tension, as his words wrapped around me like a vice. I could see the hunger in his eyes, a hunger that told me he meant every word.
Doflamingo’s smirk deepened, his eyes darkening with desire. "You really do crave danger, don't you, Princess? Standing here, tempting me like this... Do you even know what you're playing with?"
I tilted my head slightly, a confident smile spreading across my lips. “Oh, I know exactly what I’m playing with, Doffy. It’s the thrill of walking the edge, not knowing if you'll catch me... or let me fall.”
His fingers grazed the collar of my dress shirt, tracing the V-neckline slowly, teasingly. “You’re bold, I’ll give you that. But playing with fire can burn, Princess.”
I leaned in just slightly, closing the distance. “Maybe I like the heat,” I whispered, my voice daring him to cross that line.
Doflamingo’s breath hitched, his restraint cracking as the raw hunger in his gaze flared. “You have no idea what you’re in for,” he growled, stepping even closer until there was nothing but the electric tension between us.
Doflamingo stepped forward, the space between us vanishing in an instant, his presence overpowering. The air around him buzzed with energy, his intent clear. “Doffy,” I began, my voice steady but teasing, “it does make me wonder... what does a warlord, and a former celestial dragon, really know about pleasing a woman like me? Ever pondered that thought?”
His finger traced the edge of my V-neck shirt slowly, almost lazily, sending an involuntary thrill down my spine. His smirk deepened, a wicked gleam flashing in his eyes. “Oh, Princess, you have no idea what you’re playing with. I’ve mastered things that would make your wildest fantasies seem tame.”
He leaned in, close enough for his breath to graze my neck, his voice like velvet, dark and tempting. “Pleasure is a game, and I’ve always been one to rewrite the rules. You say you enjoy danger—well, tell me, Princess, are you ready to dance with the devil himself?”
I felt my heart race as he leaned in, his lips almost brushing against my ear. “You have the power to ignite every desire I have. But be warned, once you step into my world, there’s no turning back.” I subtly clenched my right hand, feeling the strength flow through me.
Doflamingo smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief. Before I could react, he pulled me closer by the waist, catching me off guard. “You know, Princess,” he whispered, his breath warm against my skin, “the closer you get, the more tempting this all becomes.”
I felt a shiver run down my spine as our bodies nearly touched, his grip firm yet surprisingly gentle. “What are you playing at, Doffy?” I managed to ask, keeping my voice steady despite the nerves in me.
He leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear again. “Just exploring all the possibilities. You’re quite the distraction, but a welcome one.”
“Distraction? Or a challenge?” I replied, my mind racing. “I’m not here to make it easy for you.”
He chuckled softly, his eyes darkening with desire. “I wouldn’t want it any other way. But be careful; you might just enjoy the game as much as I do.”
As he held me closer, I felt the power of my blades surging, ready to unleash at any moment. The tension hung thick in the air, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that this dance was only just beginning. Just then, Doflamingo leaned in, placing a kiss on my neck once more, and my heart raced in response.
Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around his neck, holding him in place as I subtly connected my left palm, feeling the energy crackle to life. The electricity surged, glowing with a bright yellow hue as I clenched my right hand tighter, readying my surprise.
“Doffy,” I breathed out, feigning breathlessness. “What do you think happens when desire creates an electric spark?”
His smirk faltered for a moment, intrigue sparking in his eyes. “What are you—”
“Just a little something for you to ponder,” I cut in, my voice low and teasing. “Now, shock!” I exclaimed, unleashing the pent-up energy coursing through me. A powerful jolt of electricity surged toward him, illuminating the space between us.
He stumbled back, eyes wide in disbelief, momentarily caught off guard. I seized the moment, executing a swift back handspring that created distance between us. The tension shifted from seduction to confrontation, and I felt the thrill of the fight ignite my spirit.
“Did you really think I’d let you have your way so easily?” I taunted, my hand glowing in anticipation as I readied myself for whatever he would throw at me next.
Doflamingo regained his footing, a mix of amusement and fury dancing in his eyes. “You’ve got quite the spark, Princess. But you’ll find that playing with fire can lead to some devastating consequences.”
I smirked, holding my ground, unfazed by his words. “What’s wrong, Doffy? I thought you liked a challenge.” My voice was steady, but my heart raced, adrenaline flooding my veins.
Suddenly, Doflamingo vanished from my sight, appearing behind me with lightning speed. My instincts kicked in, and I lifted my right leg, aiming a sharp kick toward his side. He blocked it effortlessly, his smirk widening. I used the momentum to push off him, performing another quick back handspring to put some distance between us.
“Why don’t you be a good girl and come this way,” Doflamingo purred, his voice dripping with dark amusement as he launched a thread-based attack in my direction.
I dodged it with a swift sidestep, the threads barely missing me by inches. “Astounding, ladies and gentlemen! The princess is now facing Doflamingo in a one-on-one combat!” boomed an unexpected voice from above.
“Who the hell…?” I muttered, glancing around, but my brief distraction cost me.
In a flash, Doflamingo’s arm snaked around me, his grip vice-like as he grabbed me and hurled me toward a nearby wall. I crashed into it with brutal force, the impact knocking the wind out of me. I gasped, struggling to regain my breath as I slid down the cracked stone, my body screaming in pain.
“Stay focused, Princess,” Doflamingo taunted, stepping toward me with slow, predatory steps. “It would be a shame for our little game to end so soon.”
His fist swung toward me, but I dodged it just in time, clenching my left hand and leaping into the air to create distance. "You think you can escape me?" Doflamingo sneered, looking up from below, his eyes gleaming with predatory intent.
Every time he sent his strings after me, I dodged them quickly, maneuvering through the air. My heart pounded as I silently urged Luffy to hurry. "Come on, Luffy, we're running out of time," I thought, desperately trying to keep ahead of Doflamingo’s relentless pursuit.
He lifted himself into the air, closing the gap between us with a quick surge of his threads. He swung again, aiming a punch at me, but I blocked it, my arms straining from the impact. “I don’t want to use my blades... not yet,” I thought, trying to hold off the full extent of my power.
Doflamingo's smirk widened as I continued to block his attacks. “My princess, always so defiant. But there’s something you need to understand...” he purred, his voice laced with dark amusement. “In the end, you’ll always end up in my grasp.
Before I could react, Doflamingo's fist crashed against my cheek, landing with brutal force. The sheer power of his punch sent me hurtling toward the ground. I hit the earth with a loud, painful thud, the impact reverberating through my bones.
The world spun for a moment, my vision blurred as I tried to regain my senses. Pain radiated through my body, but I gritted my teeth, pushing myself to my knees. I wiped the blood from my mouth, glaring up at him.
His laughter echoed around me, a sickening sound that only fueled my determination.
I clenched my right hand once more, feeling the familiar surge of strength travel up my arm. “Doflamingo…” I said, my voice hoarse, coughing slightly from the impact of his last blow.
“It won’t be much longer now!” The loud voice of the announcer echoed through the streets. “Our hero is on his way! Surely, you remember him! Or should I remind you?!”
“Luffy...” I thought, a flicker of hope surging within me. If the announcer was right, Luffy was seconds away from being here. Doflamingo seemed momentarily distracted by the voice, his eyes narrowing as if the mention of Luffy reignited an old fury.
Seeing my chance, I clenched my left hand, the energy surging through me as I pushed off the ground. “Hey, Doffy!” I shouted, getting his attention as I launched myself toward him with everything I had. "Stay focused!"
Before he could react, I landed a solid punch straight to his jaw, sending him crashing to the ground below. I landed, breathing heavily, my fists still crackling with energy. Doflamingo slowly rose, his breath labored as he wiped blood from the corner of his mouth, the fury in his eyes burning hotter than ever.
We were both exhausted, but I couldn’t let up now. Luffy was almost here.
“You’re mine now, Princess!” Doflamingo taunted, closing the distance between us with malicious intent. I braced myself for his attack, but just as his strings reached for me, I felt a sudden shift and everything around me blurred.
I was switched mid-air, landing on top of a nearby building instead of crashing into the ground. Before I could process what had happened, I felt something solid beneath me—someone, and then an arm wrapped tightly around my waist. A sense of familiarity washed over me instantly.
Law had used his powers to switch me with Luffy, which meant Luffy was now ready to face Doflamingo. “Well, well, looks like you just can’t stay out of trouble,” Law teased from beneath me, his usual calm voice now mixed with relief.
I smirked, looking down at him as I realized where I was. “Oh, so you were watching me the whole time, huh?” I said playfully, crossing my arms in a mock display of defiance. His gaze flickered, and I noticed his attention suddenly shift toward my chest, a hint of color rising to his cheeks.
“Caught you staring, huh?” I teased, uncrossing my arms and placing both hands on his chest to give him an even closer view.
Law’s expression shifted as he pulled me closer, his head nestling between my neck and shoulders. He pressed soft kisses along my skin, each one igniting sparks within me. “You should’ve been more careful,” he murmured between kisses, his voice a mixture of concern and desire.
“I’m fine,” I whispered, threading my fingers into the back of his hair and scratching lightly. He let out a soft groan, leaning into my touch as if trying to drown out the worries creeping in.
“Did you really think I’d just sit back and watch?” he said, his kisses trailing lower, punctuating his words with warmth. “You always dive headfirst into danger… why do you have to be so reckless?”
“What can I say? I enjoy a little chaos,” I replied with a teasing grin.
“Stop teasing,” he murmured, frustration mingling with longing as he pressed his lips against my neck again, his breath warm against my skin.
As he continued kissing his way up to my face, I winced slightly, the pain from Doflamingo’s punch flaring as a bruise began to form. Law paused, his expression shifting from longing to worry. “Y/N, are you hurt?” he asked, concern etched across his features, his lips hovering just inches from mine.
“It’s nothing I can’t handle,” I assured him, though the sting was a stark reminder of our reality. His eyes bore into mine, filled with fierce protectiveness that made my heart race.
“I don’t like seeing you in pain,” he murmured, pressing his forehead against mine, the warmth of his presence wrapping around me like a shield. Just as Law was leaning in, both Rebecca and Viola came rushing toward us.
"Princess!" they yelled in unison, breaking the moment. Law muttered under his breath, "Can't have you alone for five minutes, I swear!"
I tried to stand up, but my body gave way, and I landed back in Law's lap once more. "I’m glad you guys are okay!" I said, forcing a smile despite the lingering pain.
"Princess, I have to ask—how did you know what to do with Doflamingo? Even with my clairvoyance, I saw his demeanor shift," Viola questioned, her eyes wide with curiosity.
Law's grip around my waist tightened, his protective nature coming through even now. I took a breath, recalling the tension of the moment. "I knew he was obsessed with me before we got to Dressrosa. And I also knew that when he first captured me, he enjoyed the chase and the thrill of it all."
I looked between Viola and Rebecca, gauging their reactions. "Now, I’ll admit I’m also a woman who enjoys a little bit of thrill and danger, as you can tell with my reckless plans," I smirked playfully. "But I knew that getting him to lower his guard was the tricky part, so the seduction played a heavy hand in my strategy. I needed him to think that all the games he played with me made me crave him."
Viola nodded slowly, her expression a mix of admiration and concern. “You really used his own obsession against him, didn’t you?”
I nodded, my smile turning a bit more serious. “Exactly. Doflamingo thrives on control, but he’s also impulsive when it comes to his desires. If I could make him believe I was intrigued by him, even for a moment, I could manipulate his focus. I didn’t even use my blades for the fight after I shocked him either; my mission was to buy enough time. If it meant distracting him, baiting him with the idea that he had me, then so be it.”
Rebecca leaned in, intrigued. “That’s incredibly risky.”
“Risky is an understatement,” Law interjected, his tone sharp with worry. “You could have gotten yourself killed.”
I waved him off, a playful grin returning. “But it worked, didn’t it? He underestimated me, thinking I was just a pretty face. I knew I had to spark his interest and play to his ego. When I challenged him, that shift in his demeanor—his desire to dominate—became my weapon. Now, I didn’t think you two were both within Doflamingo's range, so that part I had to figure out a way for you to be left out of harm's way.”
Viola leaned back, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. “So, it was a mix of seduction and strategy. You made him believe he was in control, all while plotting your escape.”
“Exactly,” I confirmed. “And I knew that my skills and my defiance would just fuel the fire of his sick desires. He thrives on challenges, and I knew I could make him think I was playing his game while actually planning my next move. The more I made him believe I craved him, the more he would let his guard down. Sometimes, you have to dance with the devil to outsmart him." I shifted out of Law's lap and settled beside him, my breath still heavy from the fight with Doflamingo. I took off my tiara and set it down, leaning back against the wall. “Now all that’s left is for Luffy to kick his ass.”
Just then, the announcer’s voice boomed, “Our champion, our Lucy, is here at last!” I smiled, the sound of Luffy’s name filling me with hope.
But then, Doflamingo’s voice sliced through the moment. “So that’s where you ran off to, Princess!” he shouted, his gaze locking onto Law and me. “You get front row seats for what I’m about to do, and then we can get back to our fun from before.” His laughter sent a chill down my spine.
I tensed, using the wall for support as I stood up. “Luffy... will kick your ass!” I yelled, determination fueling my voice.
Suddenly, Doflamingo unleashed a barrage of strings that sent Luffy crashing into a stone. “Come on, Luffy!” I thought desperately. But then I saw him shift, his body pulsing with energy as he unleashed Fourth Gear once more. The Birdcage was closing in, and my heart raced. “This is it!” Rebecca shouted.
As Luffy and Doflamingo flew into the air, Luffy yelled, “Every time you grab whatever you want and strangle it! You can’t have everything, and you can’t control everyone!” My eyes widened, tears welling as I watched Luffy confront Doflamingo.
“Your twisted games end here!” Luffy shouted, his voice echoing through the arena. “You’ve hurt my friends! You’ve destroyed innocent lives! Just looking at you... makes it harder for me to breath!”
“Kong Gun!” he yelled, and the impact reverberated through us. I held my breath, my heart racing. “Lucy!” the announcer called, and I could feel the energy shift.
“Luffy!” I shouted, my voice carrying hope. “Fight, Lucy!”
The moment Luffy landed a direct hit, sending Doflamingo crashing down, I couldn’t hold back my laughter, tears flowing freely down my cheeks. “He did it!” I cried, dropping to my knees as the weight of the battle finally lifted. Buildings began to crumble around us, the force of Luffy’s attack shaking the ground.
I glanced to my right, seeing both Viola and Rebecca in tears, looking skyward, sharing in the moment of liberation.
“Luffy!” I shouted, scrambling to my feet as he shambled toward us. “You did it, Captain!” I smiled, tears still streaming down my face.
“Strawhat...” Viola murmured, and we exchanged a silent smile, a shared understanding of what this victory meant.
“Look to the sky, Dressrosa! Watch it fade... the Birdcage... and Doflamingo's reign over us!” the announcer proclaimed. “The Dressrosa Defensive War, 2000 wicked pirates versus the fateful warriors who gathered here far and wide... culminating with their leaders: Donquixote Doflamingo versus Lucy! The winner is...”
I turned to Rebecca, tears falling onto Luffy's face. “The winner is... Lucy!”
“It took the announcer long enough to say it…” I said, trying to lighten the mood, even as exhaustion washed over me.
Luffy rested, Rebecca cradling his head in her lap. I slowly pushed myself up, my legs wobbling as the adrenaline faded, replaced by sheer exhaustion. Each step felt heavier than the last. “I think... I think I’m going to—”
Before I could finish, I fell to my knees and then onto the ground.
“Princess!” Viola yelled, rushing to my side. I smiled weakly, surrendering to the exhaustion that enveloped me. It felt so good to let go.
Law POV…
“Y/N!” I yelled, watching as Viola rushed to your side. My heart pounded in my chest; I’d known you would crash eventually. I took a moment to catch my breath, still reeling from the battle.
“Hey Luffy, Y/N! Where are you guys?” I heard Usopp’s voice, his panic cutting through the chaos.
“Hey Zoro! You’re all okay! You heard Luffy knocked the lights out of Doflamingo!” Usopp called out, his relief evident.
“I heard,” Zoro replied, a hint of annoyance in his voice. “And Y/N knocked out a top executive and fought with Doflamingo again. That reckless—”
“That was a super victory for us too!” Franky chimed in, grinning widely.
Viola turned to me, her expression serious. “It’s time we let Strawhat and the princess know they’re both safe, don’t you think?”
I nodded in agreement, a mix of pride and worry swirling within me. “Yeah, it’s time.”
Zoro POV…
“You guys!” a voice called from above.
“It’s Viola!” Usopp shouted, pointing upward. “We’re up here! Both Strawhat and the princess are up here!” she waved, motioning us to come.
Y/N... I thought. Relief washed over me at the sound of her name, the weight of worry lifting slightly. That meant she was okay. We hurried up the building, scaling the steps as fast as we could.
As we reached the top, I called out, “Luffy! Y/N!” But what I saw instead was both of you resting. Rebecca was sitting close, watching over you and Luffy with a protective look on her face.
I walked toward you both, my eyes immediately landing on Y/N. “Y/N...” I whispered softly as you stirred slightly, your eyes fluttering. My heart clenched at the sight of the bruise forming on your cheek, and the other visible wounds that littered your body.
“She fought hard... the princess,” Rebecca’s voice broke my thoughts, and I glanced at her.
“She saved both Viola and me, and even faced Doflamingo once more,” she added, her voice filled with admiration.
I couldn’t help but smirk a little, my chest swelling with pride as I looked down at you. I knelt beside you, carefully lifting you into my arms. “That’s my girl,” I whispered, feeling an overwhelming sense of pride as I held you close. You were reckless, stubborn, but you were strong—stronger than anyone I knew.
Usopp began placing Luffy on top of the bird, carefully settling him down. Luffy, even in his exhaustion, muttered something about needing meat, his usual post-battle cravings kicking in. Law was next, his energy drained, but he still managed to climb onto the bird without much help.
When it was time for Y/N, I turned to Usopp. “I’ll take her,” I said firmly. I gently lifted Y/N, positioning her behind me with her face resting against my back. Her legs wrapped loosely around my waist, and I could feel her soft, steady breathing as she leaned into me.
As Y/N’s weight pressed gently against my back, her arms resting limply around my shoulders, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of responsibility for her. I adjusted her again, making sure she was secure. Her breath was warm against my neck, reminding me of how close she had come to danger today.
Usopp gave another amused glance in my direction. “Seriously, man, if Sanji saw this, he’d be flipping out. Probably light five cigarettes at once.”
I snorted, shaking my head. “Yeah, well, he’s not here, so I don’t have to deal with his whining.”
I could feel Y/N’s grip tighten slightly, even though she was still half-conscious, her body leaning into mine for support. “Just rest,” I muttered quietly, feeling the weight of the fight and the exhaustion settling in for all of us.
“Let’s get out of here,” I said, glancing at Usopp, as I made sure Y/N wouldn’t slip, her cheek resting gently against my back.
Hours passed as we finally made it to a small cottage—Kyros’ house. Luffy lay bandaged in a bed, completely out of it, while Law was similarly patched up, occasionally flicking his eyes open. You were resting your head on my lap, your breathing steady but still showing signs of strain from the battle. Every once in a while, you shifted, your face scrunching slightly as though reliving the fight in your dreams.
Kyros handed out blankets, and I carefully draped one over you, ensuring it covered your exposed body. You nuzzled closer to me for warmth, the movement subtle, but enough for me to notice. My hand instinctively moved to your head, gently running my fingers through your hair in an attempt to soothe you.
"Roronoa!" Law’s voice came out in a harsh whisper, pulling my attention away from you. I turned to him, smirking slightly, still petting your head.
"What?" I muttered, keeping my tone low as I looked down at you, hoping you would settle back into a peaceful rest.
Law's eyes flickered with something other than exhaustion—jealousy. He glanced between us, his expression strained, trying to keep his usual calm, but there was a certain tightness to his jaw. "You’re really getting comfortable, huh?" he muttered, his voice barely hiding the edge of annoyance.
I raised an eyebrow, amused by his reaction. "She’s resting," I said, keeping my tone light, but there was no denying the satisfaction I felt. His jealousy was clear, and the corners of my mouth tugged into a smirk as I continued to stroke your hair.
Soon after, Law drifted off to sleep, along with Kyros and Usopp. The small cottage was quiet, save for the crackling of the fire and the sound of our comrades breathing softly in their slumber.
“Can’t say I blame him,” Robin remarked, her voice soft yet amused as she nodded toward Law.
“Money’s on him sleeping longer than anybody,” Franky added, adjusting his mechanical eye with a chuckle.
Just as the atmosphere began to settle, the door creaked open. I instinctively moved, carefully laying you down on the floor as I got ready to defend, my hand hovering near my swords.
"Catch!" A bottle of wine was thrown my way, and I snatched it out of the air just as a familiar figure stepped inside.
"Sabo!" Robin exclaimed, rising from her seat.
"You know him?" I asked, still holding the bottle, my eyes narrowing as I assessed him.
“That’s Luffy’s brother,” Robin explained.
“Luffy’s brother?” Franky and I both shouted in unison, causing you to stir, groaning softly from the sudden noise.
Sabo stepped forward, quietly closing the door behind him. He placed his hat down and made his way toward Luffy, sitting beside his sleeping brother. “He’s with the Revolutionary Army, isn’t he?” Franky asked, still fiddling with his eye.
Sabo nodded. “Correct. But I didn’t just come to see Luffy. I came to see her as well, before I leave,” he said, standing and walking toward you.
"How do you know her?" Robin asked, curiosity coloring her tone.
Sabo hesitated for a moment before answering. “Well, it’s kind of a long story, but to sum it up, I was with her on the island where she trained under the alias ‘Sam.’” He knelt down beside you, gently lifting you into his arms. As if on instinct, your hands reached for his shirt, gripping it softly. Sabo chuckled, stroking your hair. “Looks like she still remembers when I used to do this.”
A faint smile appeared on your lips, the tension in your features easing as Sabo continued to hold you.
“So you’re the guy she told us about,” I said, taking a swig of the wine, watching the scene unfold.
“She only knew me as Sam. She never knew me as Sabo,” he explained, his gaze never leaving you. “When I saw her here in Dressrosa, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’ve wanted to tell her the truth for a long time… and when I finally did, she forgave me.”
He gently traced the anklet around your ankle, the one you always wore, even in battle. “That anklet she wears... that was my farewell gift to her.”
“So, you’re the one who taught her that monstrous kick ability?” Franky chimed in, his voice half-impressed, half-joking.
Sabo smiled again. “Yeah... that was me,” he admitted, though his smile seemed tinged with something deeper, something bittersweet. He looked down at you once more, his hold on you tightening slightly, as if letting go would cause more pain than he could bear.
“Did you know she loves to be held like this?” Sabo said quietly, his voice softer now, as though he were talking to himself as much as to us. “I learned that back on the island after a few months. She used to have recurring nightmares... nightmares of Sabaody.”
He paused, swallowing the emotion building in his throat before continuing. “She’d come looking for me in King’s palace. When she found me, whether I was in the office or my room, she’d always ask if she could stay with me. I didn’t mind… It made her feel safe.”
A tear slipped from Sabo’s eye, falling and landing gently on your face as he smiled wistfully. "Did you guys know she’d train from sunrise until midnight? Relentless. King’s men didn’t hold back at all, and neither did King. But over time, he started to go a little easier on her. He couldn’t help but soften up to her." He chuckled, shaking his head as more memories flooded back.
I took a swig from the bottle in my hand, curiosity getting the better of me. “Why didn’t you say goodbye that day?”
Sabo’s face grew serious. “I couldn’t. I had to finish the mission I was on. I stayed for two years to be with her, but I knew if I said goodbye, I wouldn’t have been able to leave. I had to play the role, stay undercover, and make sure she didn’t know who I really was. I was just the nurse to her then.”
With that, Sabo gently laid you back down and pulled a familiar bottle from his coat pocket—the ointment you’d often use on the ship. As he began to carefully unwrap your bandages, revealing the bruises and injuries that covered your torso and arm, he worked with precision, applying the ointment as though it were second nature.
“She got hurt pretty badly once,” Sabo said, his voice soft. “She refused to let anyone help her, so I snuck in while she was asleep and patched her up. The next morning, she was up and moving again, completely clueless that I’d been there.”
Robin watched him closely, smiling. “It sounds like you share a lot of memories with Y/N.”
Sabo’s gaze lingered on you, his voice softening even further. “More than I could count, Robin.” He laughed quietly. “But if she remembers this, she’ll probably punch me for being ‘too soft’ again.”
I smirked, leaning back and taking another swig. “Looks like you’ve got your hands full.”
Sabo chuckled, looking down at you. “Yeah… but I wouldn’t have it any other way. She's stubborn, reckless, and drives me crazy—but that’s what makes her... her.”
Once Sabo finished rebandaging you, he gently placed you back on his chest, your breathing more even now, the faint smile returning to your face. His fingers lightly stroked your hair, and he seemed reluctant to move.
Robin’s voice cut through the silence, gentle but curious. “Do you really have to go so soon, before Luffy and Y/N wake up?”
Sabo nodded, his expression serious. “Yeah, I do. There’s some trouble heading toward Dressrosa as we speak.”
Franky raised an eyebrow. “Who’s causing trouble now?”
“CP0,” Sabo said, and Robin tensed immediately, her sharp eyes narrowing.
I took another swig from the bottle, listening closely. “I remember the mix-up with Doflamingo,” I muttered. “They played a key role in that, didn’t they?”
Sabo nodded grimly. “Exactly. They’re not here for sightseeing. CP0 is coming for us, and things are going to get crazy in a day or two.”
I grunted, leaning back. “Well, we weren’t planning on sticking around much longer, anyway.”
Franky crossed his arms, eyeing Sabo. “I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that you’re Luffy’s brother, and on top of that, you know Y/N too?”
Sabo smiled, but it was tinged with sadness. “Yeah... It’s a long story, but Luffy, Ace, and I were inseparable as kids. We made a vow over a cup of sake to be brothers, and we spent our childhood dreaming of setting out to sea together.”
He paused, his voice quieter now. “Everyone thought I died, though. When my ship got hit by a Celestial Dragon, I was lucky enough to survive, but I didn’t remember anything for years. By the time I regained my memories, I found out Ace was gone...” His grip around you tightened a little, and you furrowed your brows in response, still fast asleep.
The room fell silent as we all absorbed his words. The weight of his memories, and his loss, was palpable. Sabo took a deep breath, looking down at you with a soft expression. “But at least I found Luffy again…and Y/N.” This reckless woman,” he chuckled, “she kind of reminds me of myself in some ways. Always going headfirst, without thinking things through.” He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, radiating warmth and care.
"She's a heavy sleeper," Franky remarked, causing a few chuckles to ripple through the group.
“Lady Y/N must have been utterly exhausted after what she did,” Kinemon added earnestly. “From being taken by Doflamingo to having him obsess over her every move, getting people to follow her and chase her—all while also getting extremely injured—it must have been a lot for her.”
I nodded, watching her peaceful face resting against Sabo’s chest. “Yeah, she really went all out,” I said, crossing my arms. “She fought hard and still managed to get back up after facing Doflamingo again. That takes guts.”
"On top of that, she even beat one of Doflamingo's top executives with the blades King gave her," I added, recalling the brilliant flashes of red lightning and blue hue that erupted from the palace during the fight. "That was insane! It was like she harnessed the power of the sky itself.”
Sabo's eyes widened in shock at my words, his expression shifting to one of deep contemplation. “You saw the blue hue and red lightning?” he asked, his voice slightly strained. “King mentioned that once those two were harnessed, the remaining colors would show up soon. Each energy she channels, whether she’s holding the blades or not, enhances her ability, making her more of a threat than ever.”
“Really?” Franky said, his curiosity piqued. “That sounds incredible!”
Sabo nodded, his gaze turning distant. “I remember when he was going to give her those blades; those were the same blades used in her training. She’d get so mad because she didn’t understand or didn’t get the moves right. But look at her now. She’s grown so much.”
“Yeah, she’s fearless,” I added, glancing back at the others. “But it’s that same fearlessness that gets her in trouble sometimes.”
Sabo looked down at Y/N, a mix of pride and concern clouding his features. “I just wish she wouldn’t push herself so hard.
“I truly don’t want to say goodbye just yet, especially as it would only add to Y/N’s frustration at me since I did it once,” Sabo said, his voice laced with reluctance as he gently placed her back on the floor. Y/N stirred slightly at the movement, but her eyelids remained heavy.
“Robin, I’m leaving these things to you,” he continued, removing his coat and handing her two Vivre Cards—one for Luffy and the other for Y/N—along with a letter written specifically for her. “You sure about this, Sabo?” Robin asked, a hint of concern creeping into her voice.
“Yeah, I have to,” he replied, his expression somber.
As he spoke, I stood up, feeling an urge to stop him. “As much as I hate it, I have to leave,” he said, making his way toward the door. He paused, glancing back at us, the weight of his decision evident in his eyes. With a heavy heart, he closed the door softly behind him.
Suddenly, a groan escaped Y/N as she sat up, rubbing her eyes to adjust to her surroundings. Her gaze wandered until it landed on Sabo’s coat, and then her eyes shot to the door, realization dawning on her. She quickly threw off her blanket and bolted toward the door, panic etched on her face.
“Y/N, wait!” I shouted, but it was too late; she had already shut the door, her determination overriding my warning.
I shared a glance with the others, worry etched across our faces. “What’s she thinking?” Franky muttered, but I could already guess the answer. She wasn’t going to let Sabo slip away without a fight.
 Y/N POV:
“So you think you can just walk out without saying goodbye?” I called out, frustration bubbling to the surface as I watched Sabo from behind. My heart raced, the tension palpable in the air between us.
“It’s not what it looks like,” he replied with a sigh, turning to face me. His expression was a mix of regret and determination, but all I felt was anger simmering beneath the surface.
“Oh really?! Because it’s exactly what it looks like, Sabo!” I shot back, my arms crossed defensively. The glow from my blades intensified, casting a green hue around me, a reflection of the power and emotions swirling within.
Sabo’s eyes widened slightly at the sight of my blades lighting up. “Y/N, I—”
“Why do you keep doing this?” I whispered, a tear slipping down my cheek, leaving a warm trail in its wake. “You did it back when I was leaving and didn’t say goodbye, and now you’re doing it again!” My body shook with the intensity of my emotions, frustration and hurt colliding within me.
Sabo stepped closer, his hand reaching out to caress my cheek, gently wiping away the tear that had fallen. “I don’t like saying goodbye, that’s why,” he whispered, his voice barely audible, filled with an aching sincerity. “To me, goodbyes mean I will never get to see you again.”
As he spoke, tears began to well in his eyes, mirroring my own pain. The vulnerability in his expression tugged at my heartstrings, and I felt the weight of his words settle between us.
“Then don’t say goodbye,” I urged, my voice trembling as I fought against the emotions threatening to overwhelm me.
As Sabo leaned in, our lips met in a tender kiss, and I felt the warmth of his emotions flooding through me. I kissed him back, pouring every ounce of my feelings into that moment. When we finally pulled away, our foreheads resting against each other, he looked deep into my eyes, a mix of determination and sorrow on his face.
“I have to go,” he said, his voice thick with unspoken emotions. “But I promise, once we’ve accomplished what we hope for, we will reunite someday. I won’t let this be the end for us.”
I nodded, my heart aching at the thought of him leaving but feeling a flicker of hope at his words. “Promise me you’ll stay safe,” I urged, my voice trembling slightly. “And don’t forget about me.”
He smiled softly, the corners of his eyes crinkling in that way I had grown to love. “I could never forget you, Y/N. You’re too important to me.”
I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper, scribbling my number on it. “Here,” I said, handing it to him. “Call me when you can. No matter what happens, I want to hear from you.”
Sabo took the paper, his expression warm and sincere. “I will. I promise.”
As Sabo turned to leave, he paused, a playful glint returning to his eyes. “Wait,” he said, stepping back towards me. “I almost forgot something.”
Before I could process what was happening, he leaned in and captured my lips again in a soft kiss. My heart raced at the sudden affection, and I melted into it, savoring the warmth of his presence.
When he pulled away, he smirked slightly, a hint of mischief in his expression. “And this one’s for the good luck kiss I wanted back in Dressrosa.”
He leaned in again, pressing his lips to mine with a deeper intensity. I kissed him back, pouring all my unspoken feelings into that moment, feeling as if we were suspended in time.
When we finally broke apart, both of us breathless, I could see the mix of emotions on his face—hope, determination, and a hint of sorrow. “Now I really have to go,” he said, his voice softening. “But remember, we’ll reunite one day.”
“I’ll hold you to that,” I replied, my heart swelling with warmth despite the ache of his impending departure.
slowly made my way inside, where Robin’s eyes were on me, concern etched across her face as she noticed the turmoil within me.
Once inside, I slid down the door and buried my face in my hands, the weight of the moment crashing down. As tears began to flow, I felt a gentle presence beside me. Robin knelt down and wrapped her arms around me, pulling me close.
“It’s okay, Y/N,” she whispered softly, her voice soothing like a gentle tide. “Let it all out.”
I let every emotion pour into her shoulder, the frustration, the longing, the hope—everything I had bottled up since Sabo’s unexpected arrival. Robin held me tightly, her presence a steady anchor in the storm of my feelings.
“He cares about you, you know,” she said, her words a balm to my aching heart.
I nodded, taking comfort in her words, though the ache of separation still lingered. I finally understood why Sabo hadn’t said goodbye before; it hurt too much. Saying goodbye meant accepting that I might not see him again, and the thought was unbearable.
With a heavy heart, I whispered, “It hurts to say goodbye, Robin.”
“It always does,” she replied gently.

Chapter 250: Well, Shit
Notes:
Characters: Ruby Rating: Teen Warnings: Language Notes: Anyone interested in a short chapter >:3c
Ruby woke up with a pep to her step. She hummed as she lightly walked the room. She was practically gliding on air as she dressed. She was so goddamn happy! She was going to see Law again! They could kiss and hug and leave this island together! She could go home!
She made sure everything about her was done right. She couldn’t be too perfect. If she was too perfect she’d be damn near irresistible to Law and he’d have no choice but to be flustered in front of the Straw Hats, and she liked him too much to embarrass him too much.
She hummed as she ate yogurt and read the newspaper. She blinked at the article.
Alliance formed.
Doflamingo’s abdication.
Everything seemed to be going the way it should, but something was off. Something didn’t feel too…correct. She had a sinking feeling in her stomach but she hoped it was just the apprehension from seeing Law for the first time in months.
She finished her yogurt and threw it in the trash. She slipped on a pair of heels and started to gather her belongings to meet Law at the meeting spot.
There was a knock on the door.
Her brows twitched and furrowed. Who would be bothering her now? Everyone she knew was either still asleep or already at their jobs. She approached the door. Her body shook with anxiety, her brain sending signals to her to not open the door, to run away. She swallowed, cursing her anxiety and opened the door.
Her eyes widened and a cold sweat rolled down her face. Her body shook and she let out a breath that was close to what could have been her stifling down a cry for help.
Doflamingo stood outside her apartment door, grinning at her. No wonder her brain told her to leave.
“Sela D. Ruby, I believe-”
She closed the door on Doflamingo casually. There was a moment of silence before her door burst into pieces. Ruby ran to the window and jumped out of it, not caring about the shattered glass. She landed on the ground and ran down the street, ignoring the screams and shouts and shocked gasps, instead focusing on the amused laughter that followed her. She felt his strings pass through her body and she quickly turned a corner...only to fall flat on her face. The bastard tripped her with haki coated string.
“A logia! Now it makes sense why Law would have you as a spy.” Ruby glared up at the obnoxiously tall man. “I’ve let you live on this island for a month now-” Ruby swallowed –she’s been here for almost two, so she managed to get by on her own long enough. “But now it’s good to see that Law is on his way, too.” Ruby’s glare hardened and she stood up, brushing off her clothes. “Tell me, what’s Law’s plan?” Ruby didn’t answer. “If you tell me, I might just let both of you live.”
“Bullshit,” she snapped. “Law told me what happened; I’m no idiot. However, if you think I’ll believe you’ll let either of us live, you certainly are.”
He snickered. “You’re unbelievably incomprehensible.” He talked down to her. “I still saved the Heart Seat for him! You wouldn’t even have to leave him and could be part of his army.” What a universe that would be. “We could always use a powerful logia on board.” Patronizing ass.
Ruby lifted her middle finger up and stuck her tongue out. “I’d rather die than call you my captain, Doflamingo.” She reacted immediately, turning her arm into wood and covering it in armament haki . His strings hit her arm, sending sparks flying.
“You’re fast.”
“I am Law’s spy; he wouldn’t just send me to look pretty,” she pushed away his strings before throwing her Sceana Duille at him. A small cut appeared on his cheek and he looked mildly annoyed. She ran off and he followed after her, manic laughter filling the alley. There was no way she could meet Law and the Straw Hat’s at the meeting point now. She could only buy him time and pray that he could get to her before…
Before Doflamingo killed her.

6. dark law, 19. Davy Back, 36. the whimsical captain trafalgar law, 55. marine pet AU!
Oh, good eye. Those are some of my favorites.. Here is another long one under the cut. Also sorry for the late response. :D
---------------------------------o
---------------------------------o
6. Dark Law
Essentially my take (one of them at least) on what would have happened had Corazon not taken Law from the Donquixote pirates but left anyway when he thought Law had ratted him out.
Some details regarding this:
Rocinante returns to the marines and was able to submit the intelligence he'd gathered. This doesn't do much except inconvenience Doflamingo, as already acknowledged during Law and Doffy's fight.
Vergo gets discovered so he just goes back to the family.
Law does not eat the Ope Ope no mi since Doflamingo never intended for him to. At least, initially.
Because, I'm assuming, not everyone can perform the "Perennial Youth Operation," as it was stated they needed to be 'wise' or 'knowledgeable' and being a doctor does not really automatically equal that, Doflamingo had to kill the users he had chosen when none of them could do it so the fruit could go back to the circulation and he could feed it to the next potentially qualified person he could find.
Law's Amber Lead Syndrome got healed by one of these users though it was only because Law, himself, taught them how to (being familiar with the disease through his father's research as well being a good doctor)
Eventually, everyone realizes that Law is actually the most suited to wield the fruit (all the other smart doctors either having a fruit already or are simply inaccessible), certain that Law would be able to figure out how to do the ultimate technique. So, reluctantly, because he does care in his twisted conditional way, Doflamingo gives the Ope Ope no Mi to Law.
Law at this point had been raised as Doffy's right hand, all according to his plan. While he truly considers Law family and might genuinely regret making him give up his life, Doffy would still ask it from him because there is nothing more important than Doflamingo and his goals. A sentiment that almost everyone in his family considers true.
And Law... well...
Doflamingo rested both hands on Law's shoulders. His tinted glasses peering down, voice heavy with regret, "I wish there was another way."
Law's face remained impassive only broken by a small wistful twitch of his lips. It almost looked like a smile. He grasped Doflamingo's arm and directed him towards the operating table.
"You have taught me many lessons one of which was the futility of wishing for better circumstances." Law seated him and prepared his equipment.
"You taught me to take advantage of any situation by using whatever it is at my disposal." Carefully, he opened a package of sterile gloves. It wasn't really needed but the ritual of opening the pack and putting the gloves on one hand at a time always helped settle his nerves.
"I had expected you to do the same so I'd been prepared for this even before you gave me the fruit." Law lifted his eyes as he slid the first glove in place. "Don't feel too bad. I really am grateful for everything you've done for me. This is just me returning the favor."
He slid the other glove and stretched it over his hand. Softly, almost a whisper, without taking his eyes off his would-be patient, "I wish there was another way too." The snap that followed the release of the glove was too loud in the small operating room.

19. Davy Back
Early Heart Pirates stuff. And another workaround for writing with at least one of the nameless Heart Pirates.
A Davy Back Fight is initiated for an abused crew member of the opposing crew because Penguin couldn't help himself. The rules are a work in progress, hence this fic's state in limbo.
I really like writing about how these guys were when starting out. They probably looked too adorable, to be honest, so in the harsh North Blue they must have had a hard time getting treated seriously. Not that that would have bothered them (I honestly think they exploited it a lot.)
The enemy captain stared intently at each Heart Pirate then at the list of members given to him. The man didn't bother controlling the upward curl of his mouth.
"No powers. No weapons. Sumo wrestling with your navigator and hand-to-hand combat with your doctor."
Shachi choked and struggled a little bit to get his breathing back to normal. He waved away Penguin's hands patting his back. The pats were a little too harsh, clearly an admonishment if the accompanying glare was anything to go by.
Penguin almost felt sorry for whoever it was being matched against Law. Bepo, while just as incensed by the other crew, was way too conscious of controlling his strength to ever really hurt anyone too badly. The captain, on the other hand, could turn someone into a useless writhing lump of agony by systematically dislocating joints Penguin hadn't even known could be dislocated. Gruesome as severed body parts looked, the powers could at least make it painless.
---------------------------------o
---------------------------------o
36. The Whimsical Captain Trafalgar Law
More Heart Pirates stuff though would feature some of the allied crews as well. This is actually a series/multi-chaptered (or would be).
A Heart Pirates adventure fic where they all go along with their captain's whims all while trying to figure him out. His crew is so used to it they barely even flinch anymore.
Not to say they understand him because who knows what goes inside their captain's head. In fact, they debate that sometimes (a lot of times) the crew being divided among those who think Law has got a plan and those who think he's winging it (often switching really).
"You can't possibly tell me there's some sort of plan behind this."
More than half of the crew looked a bit skeptical, the rest looked defensive.
Clione held up his hands. "Hey, I'm not complaining. I'll follow the captain wherever same as you. But you gotta admit that there isn't always a method to his madness. He really does do things on a whim."
"I disagree. The captain's just saying that but he knows what he's doing. Pretty sure there's a reason behind all his actions..." Protests started, so Penguin amended, "...that isn't just him being a bastard on purpose because he hates someone. Which is a pretty valid reason since we are pirates."
"How about that time we raided the flour factory?" Ikkaku asked.
Penguin's reply came immediately. "Discreet incendiary." A beat. "...also he hates bread."
Before they could celebrate, Shachi interrupted, "His dislike of bread counts as a reason and since it's incidental it doesn't count as a whim."
With narrowed eyes, Clione tried again. "The monastery? Dressing up as monks."
"Medicinal plant in the courtyard bred by this one priest."
"Marineford?"
"Allowed us to get intel and allies."
"And the emergency operations without anesthesia?"
"Possible drug interaction. Emporio Ivankov and their hormone powers."
So continued their back and forth. By the end of it, Penguin and Shachi looked way too smug. Truthfully, they both agreed Law was more impulsive than he let on, often unaware of it himself. But they knew the man they chose to follow always had a plan and purpose (though not necessarily present at the start, but semantics)
---------------------------------o
---------------------------------o
55. Marine Pet AU
Haha... Another one of those difficult to explain ones. Starring the Marines (particularly the original three admirals and Sengoku), and the Shichibukai.
Uhm... So everything's the same except the Shichibukai aren't pirates. They're animals. That's it.
It starts with a wayward flamingo wearing eyewear harassing officers near one of their HQs. Also the Marines need to improve their public image. For some reason, the best they came up with is to get a mascot. Hitting two birds with one stone. (Except they can't really hit the bird. They tried)
So the Marines build a zoo or a habitat. Here are the only types of pirates the World Government can tolerate. Aren't they cute and fluffy?
The public eat it all up. It's popular so now they have to commit. And really, these animals become so important their safety and wellbeing become the higher-ups' problem.
Kizaru is having fun. Aokiji is resigned. Akainu tries (he doesn't quite know what but he'll do what's best for the Marines even if that's getting that damn flamingo away from the reptile enclosure for the tenth time that week on a Tuesday.)
Will feature other marines as well as all of the Shichibukai. All of them.
He checked the schedule and sighed deeply.
Boa, Doflamingo, Mihawk.
He had the most troublesome ones. Briefly, he contemplated just letting his subordinates handle them but quickly scrapped the idea.
He wouldn't say these animals were attached to him and the other admirals but they got more difficult to handle the lower the rank as though these creatures' egos get ruffled. It wasn't a matter of ability. It was perhaps more accurate to say that they had respect. A modicum of it.
It should be Boa's feeding time. Another sigh escaped him as he headed towards the grooming room, a room specifically made to groom Boa's food.
It took them a while to figure out the snake's preferred diet but they found it out when a stray kitten had snuck in and Boa swooped in to swallow it whole. From there they determined that she would only eat cute animals--any less adorable and she doesn't even look at it. So puppies and kittens. And maybe bunny rabbits. Which was bad from a PR perspective so they've taken to grooming rats. Put a nice lovely ribbon and brushed them so they're all fluffy.
He entered the grooming room and one of the officers assigned there took a quick look at him, glanced down the rat they were grooming, then burst to tears (they tended to get attached.) He pressed his hand to his head letting the ice cool down his budding headache. Why couldn't he have gotten Jinbe?
Thank you for playing. :)

“A Heart to be Used as Needed” Chapter 2
Of all the things Law hated about being Doflamingo’s right-hand man, dressing the part was near the top of the list. The black feathered jacket was a painful reminder of the man who had tried and failed to save him from his psychotic brother’s clutches. It didn’t matter whether he wore an expensive suit or stark naked underneath, the mantle weighed on his shoulders like Seastone shackles.
Once Joker was dead, he’d take great pleasure in burning the damn thing.
Rolling up the sleeves of his mustard yellow dress shirt, he took a deep, fortifying breath, mentally reminding himself that it would all be over once he crushed the Heavenly Demon’s twisted heart beneath the heel of his boot. Lazy, arrogant smirk firmly in place, he firmly knocked on the throne room door, respectfully waiting for his boss’ leave before sauntering in.
“Doffy,” Law greeted, hand raised in a casual wave, “I hear you had to crush Baby-ya’s dreams of wedded bliss again.”
“Aw, come on, kid,” Doflamingo chuckled, pouring them both a generous glass of brandy. The red glow of the setting sun glinted off his sunglasses, his wide grin full of maniacal humor. “I was doing her a favor! You should have seen her latest ‘groom’; the guy had more wrinkles than Lao G!”
The Dark Doctor laughed, accepting the crystal snifter. As much as he loathed sharing a friendly drink with the man, he could at least appreciate that Joker never compromised on the alcohol’s quality. He made a mental note to pour some into the bastard’s open wounds before he killed him. “I believe you! She really does have horrible taste, doesn’t she?”
“Fuffuffuffuffu, you got that right! It was kind of cute, at first, but’s starting to lose its charm.”
“And here I’d assumed you considered androcide a hobby.”
Flopping backwards into a large, plush chair, Doflamingo crossed his long legs with a shrug, taking a sip of his own drink. The chair would have been a loveseat for an average human, but the former World Noble’s massive frame basically turned it into an armchair. “Eh, killing those guys is too easy to be any real fun, and it just about breaks my heart seeing her cry over it.”
“Then it’s a good thing you didn’t see her earlier; poor thing was an absolute wreck when she came sobbing into my lab. Completely ruined my shirt. Maybe I should remove her tear ducts.”
That earned him a sharp cackle. “While you’re at it, see if you could surgically insert some goddamn standards. I swear, each new ‘boyfriend’ is worse than the last. This time, I actually had to use my powers she was so bent out of shape! She needs to realize that I’m looking out for her best interests. None of those peons deserved her.”
Swirling the amber liquid thoughtfully, Law lounged in the Heart Seat. For all its red velvet cushions, the gaudy throne felt no more comfortable than it had when he’d first been shackled to it at fourteen, but after ten years, it was easier to pretend. “Honestly, I couldn’t agree more. The problem is, she’d got this idea in her head that marriage will make her happy, and with her compulsion to be needed, she jumps at every perceived proposal she hears. After all, what could a man possibly need more than wife?” he asked sarcastically.
“Well, that’s a spot-on diagnosis, doc; you got any suggestions for a cure?”
Taking a swig of brandy, he savored the silken burn as it slid down his throat. It was well-aged and smooth, with a few notes of smoke and sweetness; the perfect drink to accompany his plan. “I do,” Law replied with a grin, setting aside his snifter to lace his fingers together. “Let her get married to a man of your choosing.”
Doflamingo sat up straighter in his seat, eyes narrowing behind his sunglasses. “Are you fucking kidding me, Law?”
Despite the sharp edge of anger in his boss’ tone, the young Corazon simply smiled. “Not at all. As much as she wants to get married, she desperately craves your approval. If you chose her next beau, she’d be absolutely over the moon and we can put all this nonsense to rest.”
“Well, unfortunately, there’s no one worthy of our little Baby 5,” he said stubbornly, crossing his arms and hunching over in an exaggerated pout like a spoiled child who’d been told to share his toys.
“No, but you could at least pair her with someone you trust,” he coaxed. Though psychotic and selfish, after over a decade working for the man, Law knew how to gently lure him to the conclusion he desired. “Someone who wouldn’t take advantage of her. Someone who could reign her in and ensure her loyalty never strays from the Family. Specifically, someone to keep her in the Family.”
Intrigued, the giant man relaxed in his throne. “Ah, now I get it. Fuffuffuffuffu, you had me worried for a sec! I should have known you’d never try to drive Baby away from us. A sweet, precious little thing like her needs our protection.”
Yes, the woman who can turn into a literal arsenal needs protecting, Law thought sarcastically, though his smile never faltered. “I’d never even consider such a thing. You know I’ve got a soft spot for her, Doffy; we’ve been friends since childhood.”
“A soft spot is right! I’ve seen you rip out Giolla’s heart just for commenting on how tired you look, but when Baby slaps you, at worse she gets dismembered for a few hours. I’ve never even had to order you to put her back together.”
“That’s because unlike Giolla, Baby 5’s disrespectful outbursts come from a place of love, like a mother scolding an uppity child.” Allowing his expression to soften, Law absently gazed out the window as he continued, “On top of that, her compassionate displays bank up enough good karma that I can’t stay mad for long. After all, no one else brings me onigiri or bullies me to get some sleep when I’ve been cooped up in my lab for days. So yeah, if it keeps someone else from getting their filthy hands on her, I’d gladly give her the wedding of her dreams.”
Stretching his long arms before linking the fingers behind his head, Doflamingo sniggered. “How sweet. Ok, I’ll bite; who would you suggest as the groom? Pica? Buffalo?”
Though he kept his expression strategically banal, inside Law was crowing. Joker was reacting exactly as he’d predicted, and he’d already prepared a response for every man he might suggest. “Pica’s too volatile and Buffalo’s almost as impulsive as she is. She needs someone who can handle her violent mood swings and bring her to heel. Besides, I’d hate to waste such a beauty on them.”
“Harsh, but fair. Hate to say it, but that really limits our options. Vergo fits the bill, but he’s a bit preoccupied with the Navy, and I can’t trust that she wouldn’t run off to be with him and blow his cover.” Rubbing his chin, Doflamingo mentally ran down his list of subordinates. “How about Senor Pink? Baby 5 and the guy who dresses like a baby!” he laughed, tongue lolling out.
Internally scowling at the bad joke, Law shook his head. “The man’s dressed like that to honor his late wife for years; remarrying won’t do his mental state any favors, nor hers.”
“Yeah, guess you’re right. Gladius?”
“I don’t trust that he wouldn’t blow her up if they got into an argument. Baby-ya’s feisty, and I doubt he’d show the same restraint I do if she ever slapped him.”
The shichibukai raised an eyebrow at the nickname. It had been an intentional slip, something to lead Joker to the conclusion he needed. “Kid, quit beating around the bush. Fun as it is acting like a pair of matchmaking old biddies, you never would have suggested this if you didn’t already have someone in mind. Out with it.”
Taking a deep breath through his nose, Law finally stated, “Me.”
This time, there was no laughter from Doflamingo. No snide comment. Just a tense pause as the two pirates stared each other down.
“You’re serious.”
“I am. I’ll even say it plainly; I want Baby 5.”
Uncrossing his legs and resting his elbows on his knees, he scoffed at his Corazon. “Law, you’ve always been a realist; you know you’ve only got so many years left to live, and you’ve acted accordingly.” Recalling the first time he’d taken his young protégée to a gentleman’s club, he chuckled. He’d felt like a proud papa watching the teen saunter off to one of the private rooms with a beautiful woman on each arm and a damn attractive man in tow. By the time they left the next morning, none of Law’s partners had been in any state to move. “When you’re not down in your lab, you’re fucking whoever you please. Hell, even I’m impressed with the number of notches on your belt at your age! So, considering how marriage tends to clash with your lifestyle, what’s got you suddenly looking to settle down?” he asked, blonde eyebrow raised in suspicion.
This was where Law would have to tread carefully. He knew how out-of-character his proposal seemed; on top of regularly inviting scantily dressed partners to his chambers, everyone knew that if Trafalgar Law vanished suddenly, he’d reappear in no more than a week, hungover and reeking of sex, drugs, and blood. In reality, though the sex was a great stress-reliever, those wild benders also gave him the perfect cover whenever he had to disappear for a few days to carry out one of the more clandestine aspects of his plan. A committed relationship, much less marriage, would put a damper on that.
Yet if it led to the Heavenly Demon’s painful and humiliating downfall, it was a sacrifice he was willing to make. Staring at his glass in contemplation, Law replied, “I’ve been thinking about the future. The Perennial Youth surgery has been difficult to research, and even harder to practice, but I’m confident that I’ll figure it out in due time. After everything you’ve done for me, I owe you that much. But that’s got me wondering; eternal youth isn’t the same as immortality. You could, theoretically, still be killed. Possibly even get sick or poisoned. Unfortunately, I won’t be there to help you, and genius like mine is hard to come by. So, why not pass down my genetics and ensure you’ll still have a medical prodigy even after I’m gone? Maybe even your next Corazon?”
“And you want to have that with Baby 5?”
“She’s gorgeous, biddable, and feisty enough to not bore me. More than that, with her unfortunate childhood, I can guarantee she’ll be a doting and protective mother yet won’t stand in your way when you choose to take the kid under your wing. Really, I couldn’t ask for a better option.”
Law could see the wheels in Doflamingo’s head turning. He’s chosen his words very carefully—fatherhood might potentially give the doomed doctor something to live for, but it just as easily created an exploitable weakness. A baby would give Joker extra leverage, something to hold hostage or threaten should the Surgeon of Death appear to have second thoughts about performing the surgery.
Of course, Law had no intention of producing such an asset. He’d sterilize himself and Baby 5 if need be. No child of his would be twisted in Joker’s sick image.
The Heavenly Demon studied him thoughtfully, his gaze intense even through his sunglasses, chin resting on his entwined fingers. “That’s all true, but I’m surprised; with how long you’ve known each other, I’d assumed you thought of her like a sister or something.”
The Dark Doctor’s grin was lecherous, gold eyes hooded as he replied, “I can assure you, I’d never think of my sister the way I’ve thought about Baby-ya.”
“It’s the maid outfit, isn’t it?” he chortled, tongue lolling out to sweep lewdly across his lips. “And here I’d thought you had a thing for nurses.”
Smug, lecherous grin in place, Law winked. “Oh, those are nice, but my real kink is short uniforms and obedience.”
“And Baby 5 has an abundance of both. That doesn’t mean I’m on board with this. No offense, but you’re not the type of guy I trust to respect the bonds or marriage.” Though he remained smiling, there was little pleasure in the expression—more like a threatening baring of teeth. “If you cheated on her, I’d have to start removing some pretty specific body parts, and don’t think I’d let you reattach them.”
It was a vivid, yet not unexpected threat, so Law didn’t even flinch. Instead, he donned a playful grin. “Oh, come on, Doffy; haven’t I been a good boy? You’ve been dressing her up like a pinup since we hit puberty, parading her around like the most delicious forbidden fruit I could imagine, and I never so much as took a bite because I respected your authority. I mean, with how obsessed you’ve been with keeping her pure as virgin snow, part of me assumed you were saving her for yourself.”
It was a dangerous idea to put in the shichibukai’s head, but one Law didn’t trust Vergo or Trebol not to suggest just to spite their fellow executive. It was no secret that the Club Seat and former Corazon held no shortage of jealousy towards him, and if they had any idea that he coveted Baby 5, whether they knew his ultimate plan or not, they’d do their best to interfere. This way, he could at least nudge Doflamingo away from such thoughts.
As he considered it, his threatening expression relaxed. With a single gulp he finished off his glass of brandy, grabbing the bottle to pour himself a generous refill. “Yeah, I’ve thought about doing her.” Lounging against the couch, his lips stretched into a lecherous grin, long tongue swiping over his gleaming teeth. “Hot little thing like that, all bright eyes and tasty curves…but Baby gets attached too easily. Fucking her means your bachelor lifestyle is dead, since she’d probably kill any other woman you even looked at.”
Pleased that his plan was still on track, Law felt the tension in his spine melt away. “Exactly; I’m not blind to what I’m getting into. Hell, I thought you’d be thrilled—since I won’t be wasting time chasing tail, I’ll be able to devote more of it to my research. No need for week-long benders when I’ve got wifey waiting for me at home.”
Leaning back, Doflamingo threaded his fingers together in thought. “Alright, Law, say I am considering your proposal; I’ve got a few stipulations.”
“Name them.”
“One, if you’re insisting on marrying her, you’re gonna be the best damn husband she could ask for. No cheating, fucking about, or even flirting with men, women, or anyone else. And definitely no more drug-fueled benders—gotta set a good example for the kids, right?”
“Of course.” Much as he did enjoy his bursts of rebellious freedom, he’d easily made peace with giving it up. The drugs had long lost their thrill, barely even having an effect on him anymore. Violence he could still enjoy in the lab or even on missions for Joker. As for the sex…
With how eager to please Baby 5 was, he doubted it would even take long to train her up to be the perfect lover, submissive and pliant, ready for him whenever he desired. On top of having her warm his bed every night, it’d be so easy to call her down to the lab and put that hot little mouth to use, or corner her in a dark hallway for a quickie.
“Two, I’m gonna need your timeline for getting me Law 2.0.”
The request pulled Law from his lustful thoughts, reminding him to focus on the task at hand. “Though I’m sure she’s plenty fertile on her own, I have plans to develop a drug to increase the chance of twins; that way, the odds will be in our favor of getting another medical genius. On top of that, I need to study mine and Baby-ya’s genetic material and physiologies to ensure our Devil Fruit powers won’t cause any unexpected complications. Should her transformations affect her uterus, I’ll have to demand she not be given any assassination missions for the duration of her pregnancies.”
“So how long are you saying you need to knock her up?”
This time the smug, lecherous grin on his face was completely genuine. “I mean, I’m not going to wait to start fucking her—if I’m expected to be faithful, she’s going to do her wifely duties. But I won’t start the fertility treatments until at least a year in, when I’m confident we’ll have the results we want.”
“If you’re in no rush to put a baby in Baby, why do you want to marry her now?”
He rolled his eyes, but his lips softened with the barest hint of affection. “Because it’s Baby 5; we take our eyes off her for a moment, and she might actually wise up and elope. I mean, I’m completely willing to murder whatever shit-stain tricked her into running off, but then she’ll be all pissed and that tends to put a damper on a relationship.”
“Ok, fair point.” He rubbed his chin, looking heavenwards in consideration. “I’m guessing you’ll probably want a few years with the kid before you perform my surgery, right?”
“Just for the sake of being sure I am leaving you with a genius,” he assured, hands up in surrender. “I showed signs of being a medical prodigy by the age of three, and I’m happy to impregnate Baby-ya as many times as necessary to hedge our bets.”
“Fuffuffuffuffu! The way you’re talkin’ I might end up with a whole herd of Trafalgar rug rats running around!”
“Hey, the Family did a good job raising us and Dellinger. I trust you’ll turn my children into fine, upstanding members of society once I’m gone.”
The two glanced at each other, then shared a hearty laugh.
“Ok, ok, fine; I can wait a few years for Corazon Jr.,” Doflamingo chuckled, wiping a tear from his eye. “And I appreciate you stacking the odds in my favor. You’re good at planning shit, Law, so I trust you to do whatever it takes to get me at least one genius.”
“Happy to hear it,” he responded, linking his hands behind his head and relaxing in his chair. The Heart Seat was still mockingly uncomfortable, but bit by bit he was getting closer to his chance to reduce the damn thing to ash.
Three long fingers were held up as Doflamingo’s grin became more mischievous. “Which brings me to my third stipulation: trust. If you want me to trust that you’re serious about this whole marriage deal, I’m going to need you to prove it.”
“How?” Law asked, curious but unconcerned.
“You propose to Baby 5, and I’ll throw you the wedding of the century. Flowers, music, not a crumb of bread at the reception—you name it and I’ll pay for it. But the engagement will last at least a month. In that entire time, you’re as celibate as a monk—no fucking girls, guys, or even jerking off. And before you get any funny ideas, that also means Baby’s off limits until your wedding night.”
Insulted, Law narrowed his eyes. Sure, he was a degenerate and had deliberately cultivated the image of being a careless fuckboy, but he was also a highly trained surgeon, a ruthless torturer, and his right-hand man; did Doflamingo really think a month without sex would break him? That after all his careful planning, such a stupid stipulation would scare him off? Did he honestly have such a low opinion of him after everything Law’d done for the former noble?
Oh, as if he didn’t already have a thousand reasons to slowly crush his boss’ heart between his fingers.
“Deal,” he ground out through his teeth.
His white-knuckled grip on the chair only tightened when Joker laughed. “You don’t sound very convincing, kid! If you don’t think you can do it, just back out now! I’ll marry her off to Trebol or something and you can knock up a random hooker.”
“I don’t want some prostitute—I want Baby 5!” he snapped, gold eyes glinting dangerously in the fading rays of the sun. Silly as it was to get angry over such a little thing, Law was nearing the edge of his patience, and he hated seeing a carefully crafted plan threatening to fall apart when he was so close to getting what he wanted.
“Hey, don’t give me that scary look!” Doflamingo chortled, his leisurely sip of brandy unable to hide the self-satisfied smirk. “I’m just looking out for everyone’s well-being.”
No, you’re playing with us like puppets, he thought sourly, forcing himself to calm down. This was all just part of the man’s sadistic game, and he’d walked right into it. But Law refused to let himself get jerked around like a marionette. “As am I. We both know my plan works out best for everyone. I get an obedient, healthy wife whom I can trust to carry my legacy. Baby-ya gets her dream of being married, and when I’m dead she’ll still be blissfully needed by our child. And you get both your next Corazon and insurance that your favorite assassin won’t run off with some scumbag looking to use her against you. But if you really feel I need to prove myself, fine—I’ll stay completely celibate until the wedding night.”
“You sure?”
“Doffy, I’m going to make this clear; if you try to marry Baby-ya off to a freak like Trebol, she’s going to become a widow and you’re going to need a new Club Seat.”
“Ok, ok! You’ve made your point.” Sitting back, he gave a mock toast with his snifter. “If you think you can reign her in, I’ll bless your joyous union. I’ve got better things to do than kill idiots trying to separate our family and dodge her angry murder attempts. But marriage had better not turn you soft.”
Pleased that he finally got his way, Law let himself fully relax. “It won’t. Ultimately, it’s just a means to an end, but one that will satisfy all parties.”
“You sure Baby will be able to ‘satisfy’ you?” he asked with a leer. “Pretty sure she’s been waiting for a husband to pop her cherry; virgins can be hot, but that kind of inexperience can be frustrating, too.”
Remembering the way she’d sucked his thumb in the lab, Law wasn’t worried. “She’s biddable and eager to please, so I’m sure she’ll do everything possible to keep me satiated. Hell, a woman like that is practically tailor-made for me, since I can train her up to do what I like instead of having to break any bad habits.”
“Good, because I’m serious about not letting you cheat on her, Law. I want us all to be a big, happy family, and as the patriarch, it’s my job to keep everyone in line.”
Is that why you murdered your own brother? Law sneered quietly. Because he stepped out of line? Because if that’s your biggest concern, then you’ll never see me coming. Careful not to let his thoughts bleed onto his face, he nodded. “Understood.”
Grin shifting into something more easygoing and friendly, he asked, “So, when are you gonna ask her?”
The Corazon finished his warm brandy, taking the opportunity to think it over. “Next week. There’s a full moon, I’ll have time to pick out a ring, and I’m sure I can set up some nice, romantic music or something.”
“Shit, you’re taking this seriously.”
“Of course. I refuse to let anyone mock me and compare my proposal to those other worthless peons’.” Mostly, though, a week would give him time to take care of some loose ends. He expected Joker would be watching him closely during the engagement to ensure he really did hold up his promise to be faithful, and combined with actually putting a wedding together, there’d be little chance to work on his ultimate plan until after the honeymoon.
Though, perhaps he could use his honeymoon as a chance to visit Ceaser’s lab on Punk Hazard, and maybe swing by Sabaody to recruit more men to serve his cause. Considering the number of slaves Doflamingo shipped to those auction houses, surely more than a few would be happy to get some revenge against their captor.
Well, marriage is looking easier already, he thought with a grin.
Mistaking his expression for something else, Joker laughed. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were smitten, kid!”
Tattooed hand pressed to his chest, Law sighed dramatically. “Is that really so hard to believe? Just because I’m a heart stealer doesn’t mean I can’t fall in love. Why, maybe all the wanton sex has been my way of coping with the cruel possibility that I’d never get to be with the one woman I truly care for!”
The two men shared a laugh at the absurdity of the idea. Baby 5 may believe in such crap, but her betrothed and boss knew better—the world was cruel, love was more painful than death, and no matter how you dressed them up, people were at their core nothing more than vicious animals looking to rip each other’s throats out.
“Regardless, I trust you’ll be discreet until after I pop the question?” Law asked. “I’d hate for someone to ruin the surprise.”
“You mean sabotage your perfect moment. Monet’ll be heartbroken when she hears.”
“She’ll get over it,” Law scoffed. He’d had a few fun evenings with the harpy, but she was of no importance to his plans. Though it did bring up the concern that she might try to turn Baby 5 against him before he could put her completely under his thrall. He’d have to ask Violet to keep an eye on her. “Maybe she’ll catch the bouquet.”
“And if she’s lucky, Trebol won’t be around for the garter toss!”
XXX
A week later, Baby 5 received orders from a grinning Doflamingo to clean up a mess in the palace garden. Broom and dustpan in hand, she marched out into the moonlight, mood sour despite the beautiful evening. Law had avoided her since he’d promised to talk to Joker; every time she so much as caught a glimpse of him, he’d disappear, using his powers to easily escape. Even when he had no choice but to be in the same room as her, such as dinner or meetings, he refused to meet her gaze, intently preoccupying himself with some other task or simply looking through her as if she were invisible.
Maybe Doffy told him to stay away from me, she thought with a sniffle. Maybe he didn’t approve the match and he now wants Law to stay as far away from me as possible. Or maybe Law decided he didn’t need me as his wife.
There was another painful possibility—that she’d dreamt hers and Law’s entire conversation. There was no hint that he’d spoken to the young master. No hint he even remembered flirting with her in the lab. Had he really held her close, asked if she’d ever been kissed, shared that cigarette with her? Or had she been so distraught by yet another dead fiancé that she’d begun to hallucinate?
Maybe I’m just completely crazy and my useless brain is making shit up because it knows I’ll never get married! God, I’m such an idiot! I never should have gotten my hopes up, she thought as she wiped a stray tear from her eye.
There was no time for feeling sorry for herself now, though; she had a job to do. She was needed in the garden. Once she was done, she could sneak off to her room and indulge in a good cry over her pathetic state.
As she entered the garden she was greeted by the soft sound of smooth jazz, and as she curiously made her way towards it, she wondered if this was the “mess” she was supposed to clean up. Right arm transforming into a pistol, she whirled around a large hedge, ready to blow the musician’s heads off, only to find the barrel of the gun inches from Law’s chest.
“Whoa, easy, Baby-ya!”
Immediately she froze, horrified that she’d nearly shot her superior. “I’m so sorry, Law!” she exclaimed with a deep bow. “Doffy told me there was a mess to clean up, and I assumed—”
“It’s alright; this is Joker’s fault,” he insisted, cupping her chin to make her look at him. His mouth was twisted in annoyance, and she wondered if he’d settle for just scolding her or if she had an evening of dismemberment to look forward to. “He should have just told you I wanted you to meet me out here.”
Law’s greater height forced her to straighten up, otherwise she’d be able to look no further than his chest. She blinked as she realized he was dressed rather nicely; smart black blazer and trousers, yellow dress shirt with the top three buttons undone, freshly polished shoes, and glittering gold earrings and cufflinks. The spicy scent of cologne tickled her nose, and she recognized it as the deep, musky fragrance he wore whenever he went out, and one of the myriad of smells his sexual partners reeked of when they left his room.
Amethyst eyes swept across the little clearing, taking in the small table with its crisp white tablecloth, which she identified as the one she’d ironed not an hour ago but had mysteriously gone missing. A vase of scarlet roses, a bottle of red wine, and two crystal glasses were carefully arranged on top of it, and with the small jazz quartet off to the side and the soft glow of the moon and surrounding lanterns, she finally understood.
The Corazon was out here meeting someone. Someone he was looking to impress. To her knowledge, he never put in this kind of effort for someone he simply intended to fuck, so whoever it was had to be really special.
No wonder he’d been avoiding her all week.
“Was there something you needed?” she asked softly, trying not to let her disappointment show.
In leu of an answer, he strolled over to the table and pulled out a chair, pointing at the seat meaningfully. Frowning, she studied the seat, not seeing any dirt but wiping it down anyway with her apron. An irritated little vein ticked on his forehead at her response, so she quickly tried to figure out what else he could possibly need. Should she fetch a cushion? Was the chair itself unsatisfactory and he wanted her to get a new one?
“I want you to sit in it, Baby-ya,” he finally said with an exasperated little eyeroll.
Red stained her cheeks in embarrassment. Asking her to take a seat was the last thing she expected, but maybe he wanted her to test the strength of the chair? She’d cleaned Law’s room several times after a one-night stand, and broken furniture was not an uncommon sight.
Gingerly sliding into the chair, she was surprised when he pushed it in, taking the seat across from her.
Feminine fingers fiddled nervously with the ruffled hem of her apron. What was she doing here? What did Law need? Shouldn’t she get out of the way before his real date showed up and got the wrong idea?
“Beautiful night, isn’t it?” he asked, resting his sharp chin on the bridge of his linked fingers, smirking slightly as he took her in. It was the first time he’d really looked at her all week, and she wondered if she was dreaming again.
When she nodded mutely, he continued, “Sorry for the calling you out on such short notice; I wasn’t sure everything would come together in time, and there was a threat of a storm rolling in. Plus, with all the planning I’ve been doing this week, I’ve been so tired I barely knew what day it was. The invitation almost completely slipped my mind.”
The full moon illuminated his face, and she could see the dark circles under his eyes were more pronounced than usual. Insomnia had always been a problem for him, but she knew it got worse when he was stressed. And when it got especially bad, his temper was a lot shorter, and he was more likely to take it out on her when she got in his way. Why didn’t he ask her to take care of things? When it came to stuff like this, she was incredibly useful! She could set a table and deliver messages. If it helped, she was even willing to let him cut her into pieces so he could let off steam! Did he think she’d mess it up? Was he so sure he didn’t need her? “You did a good job,” she assured weakly.
His large, tattooed hand plucked one of her own from her lap, his rough thumb rubbing teasing little circles across her knuckles. “I’m glad you like it. I’ll be happy to leave the wedding planning to you and Joker, though; picking out tablecloths and flowers was absolutely mind-numbing.”
“Wedding planning?”
“Of course.” Baby 5’s heart quivered as he linked their fingers. It all felt like a scene from one of those romance novels she sometimes snuck from Giolla’s room. The moment where a pair of lovers confessed their feelings, none but the moon to bear witness.
As he poured a generous amount of wine into her glass, Law placed a butterfly kiss to the tip of her ring finger, followed by a light nip. “I like to think it’ll be a classy affair, but with Doflamingo in charge I’m not holding out hope. Still, so long as I get to see my obedient bride in a beautiful white dress, I can’t complain.”
“That sounds nice,” she managed to say, even though it felt like he was slowly strangling her. Even if his promise in the lab hadn’t been real, could he really be so cruel as to mock her with plans for his wedding when her dream was slowly being bashed to bits?
He raised an eyebrow. “You seem far less excited than I’d imagined.”
“Oh, no, of course I’m excited! I’m sure your wedding will be lovely, and I’m happy to help if you need me!” she said with a pained smile, desperately holding back her tears.
Smile dropping, his gold eyes narrowed. “Ok, this is ridiculous—you take the most innocuous comment from a complete stranger as a proposal, but you honestly can’t tell when I’m trying to ask for your hand in marriage?”
“What?”
Pulling out a small, velvet box, he presented her with a gold ring, a heart-shaped diamond gleaming in the center. He smirked at the way her eyes widened in shock. “Joker gave his approval, and I said when I proposed it’d be far better than what those scumbags had done. Now, are you going to stare at me forever, or are you going to say you’re mine?”
“…am I hallucinating?”
Reaching across the table, he gave a harsh pinch to the soft skin of her wrist.
“Ouch!”
“Proof enough that this is real? It’s been an exhausting week, Baby-ya, and I’d like to spend the rest of the evening drinking a nice glass of wine with my future wife before the hell of wedding planning starts. Though, I suppose if you don’t want me…” he trailed off as he slowly began to close the box.
A stampede of thoughts galloped through her head, barely comprehensive but all arriving at the same conclusion.
Law had asked her to marry him, and she needed to give an answer.
“Y-yes!” she exclaimed, ready to leap over the table, but his upraised hand between them stopped her.
“As much as I’d love to have you in my arms,” he said with a tired but triumphant grin, “I promised Joker I’d be a gentleman until the wedding. That means we’re going to have to keep touching to a minimum.”
“But why?” she asked curiously as he slipped the ring onto her finger. The diamond gleamed in the dim light, and it all finally felt so real.
She was finally going to become a wife!
Overwhelmed with emotion but unable to embrace her betrothed, she settled for grabbing his hand, kissing his fingertips like he had hers, her lips momentarily wrapping around his finger. Surely that counted as keeping touching to a minimum while still letting him see her gratitude, right? And he’d seemed to like it when she sucked his thumb that time…
She gasped as his long fingers wrapped around her wrist, tugging her forward so hard she knocked over her glass of wine, the burgundy liquid seeping into the clean white tablecloth.
Hot lips pressed to her ear as he rasped, “Because you’re too fucking irresistible for your own good, and if I’m going to make it to our wedding night, I need you to be a good girl and not tempt me.”
Liquid fire pooled between her thighs at the way his baritone voice called her a “good girl,” and she couldn’t help but let out a little whimper in response. He seemed to catch her reaction, as his voice became even rougher as he said, “Do you like that, Baby-ya? Does being called a ‘good girl’ turn you on?”
Swallowing hard, she tried to pull away, but his hand was like a shackle, unrelenting in its task of keeping her captive. “Yes,” she practically whispered, a little ashamed. Good girls didn’t get so hot and bothered over a few simple words. A good girl wouldn’t have tempted him. A good girl wouldn’t secretly want their superior—their future husband—to pin her to the table and show her what those romance novels meant when they talked about a man bringing his lover to the peak of pleasure.
She heard him take a deep, steadying breath before finally releasing her wrist, sitting back down and refilling her glass as if nothing had happened. Gold eyes flickered up to meet her breathless and confused gaze, and his wicked smile made her chest tighten and tingles dance through her nervous system.
“Then I’m looking forward to you showing me just how good you can be on our wedding night.”

One Piece x Reader {Join My Club} Ch 13
Cinder's Pov
'Knock' 'Knock'
I may have been the person who told Kato to come up to the apartment but now I didn't even want to leave the couch. "Cinder, are you going to open the door?" He was the stubborn type so carefully I got up though my hand hovered over the deadbolt while I tried to calm myself. Before I could rush back to the safety of the couch my hand unlocked the door and pulled it open. "There's my girl. I picked you up some pancakes on the way over here since I figured you be hungry. Is something wrong Cinder? Your eyes are puffy"
He noticed every detail when it came to me but right now, I really wished he hadn't picked up on my bloodshot eyes. Kato was sweet and kind, this news would devastate him. "That wasn't necessary Kato but thank you. Please come in" I couldn't prolong the news forever so as I took the takeaway box within my grip, I lead him inside the apartment. "What exactly are we discussing Cinder? You're not breaking up with me, right?"
I'd never break up with Kato he was my everything but as I stared up at him from the couch, I said the one thing I was terrified that could happen today. "It might be you who is breaking up with me" We hadn't discussed the topic of children before but we were only teens ourselves so that shouldn't have been on either of our minds. "Hm!? What do you mean?" Kato's tone was filled with shock and for whatever reason, it had caused my tears to finally start falling. "I-I'm pregnant and I don't know what to do! What is my mother going to say? She'll disown me! Hawkins will be pissed as well!"
My relationship with my mom was already strained enough but oh god if Hawkins found out about this, he'd murder Kato. "Cinder calm down its alright. A-Are you going to keep it?" That wasn't even something I had been able to consider and in my current state, it was best not to make any final decisions. "I don't know. This isn't how it was supposed to happen!" Kato's arms had wrapped around my now shaking form although just as I was about to push him away, he said something that caused me to freeze. "I'll still love you regardless of your choice but just so you know I think you should keep it"
"W-What do you mean Kato? We can't raise a child" I knew Kato came from money but he was talking crazy if he thought this was a good idea. "Just think about it Cinder. I know it's not the most practical thing but we still created this life. Are you going to class today or should we go back to my house? My family is gone for the day~ Heheheheh" I couldn't believe he was trying to laugh at a time like this and how dare he suggest such a thing, being alone with him was never a good idea. "Bad Kato! This is exactly the behavior that got us into this mess in the first place"
"There's your smile~ I love you Cinder. Come on before traffic picks up" Kato's body had moved but as he gripped my wrist, I stopped him. "Who said I'm going with you?" I would have gladly gone with him although I couldn't let this man think I was easy. "Oh, I'm kidnapping you for the day. We have much to discuss and school will only be a detraction" Kato would make a terrible kidnapper however today just wasn't a good day to play games. "There's a test today in math class. I can't just miss it" My grades were already failing and if I ever wanted to make something of myself, I needed to at least pass. "I'll take care of it don't worry. Are you coming or not?"
Little rich boy Kato was many things but was he really prepared to bribe the school? Probably although I still didn't see why the man was acting like his world wasn't falling apart. "Why are you acting so calm about this?" He might have been in shock but when I heard his answer, I realized it was the complete opposite. "Because it doesn't matter. You're pregnant with my baby so now I need to step up and make sure you're comfortable"
"If you're kidnapping me then start carrying me. Oh, and you can tell Hawkins what you did to me" Since I had just found out I didn't bother with informing my older brother although I'd leave it to Kato to figure out telling him. No time would be right but I'm sure he could handle it. "... Will you plan my funeral?"
"With pleasure~"

Zoey's Pov
I had gotten my pastries but now that we had returned to Penguin's apartment the man was completely ignoring me and it was growing annoying. "What are you doing Penguin?" He looked rather invested in his laptop but I didn't bother trying to peek as I continued to scan his cool collectibles. "Working on something Zoey. Stop touching that you'll break it" For someone who loved women as much as Penguin did, he was being a little jackass right now. "I thought the plan was to have some fun before school. You're boring Penguin. Oh, what's this?"
"Zoey that isn't a toy put it down. Are you even listening to me?" This ship is definitely well crafted but damn was I jealous it belonged to Penguin. "Awesome~ I've never seen such a well-done Exco Spacefighter. Where did you get it?" It must have cost him a fortune but as I placed the ship back on its display, I turned to see the man was blushing. "You're a fan?" Not many people even knew the show existed although I was one of the few that really enjoyed it. "Oh, yeah it's one of the best series ever to be made. Sucks they canceled it after the second season"
"I know right! Cough. I mean I really should finish this task for the boss" Real smooth Penguin. Hmm, maybe I could get some alone time with him by driving him to class. "We'll talk later. How about I drive you to school?" He had a car in the parking lot but let's get say some troublemaker decided to mess around with it. "Why? I have my own car Zoey"
"I know but I noticed this morning someone had put a nail in your tire"
"Someone what!?"

(Y/n)'s Pov
I would have thought that medication was supposed to keep him asleep for at least six hours but from the look on the man's face he was up to stay. He looked healthy than before however, that occasional cough was the only sign of his illness. That and those dark circles around his eyes but those would be there for a while since he refused to get the appropriate amount of sleep. "Law you're not allowed to leave the bed. Lay back down" That glare within his eyes was not that most pleasant thing although I didn't feel intimidated so I remained in place.
My body was pressed against his which was thankfully trapped under the covers and it was probably the reason why he was having trouble sitting up. "Move (Y/n)-ya" He could have easily overpowered me but from what I could tell he wasn't even making an attempt. "I already told you that's not going to happen. Where are you even trying to go?" He looked a little resilient to tell me his plans but within a couple of seconds, his glare softened, and a reply was heard. "I need to go check on Doflamingo-ya. After that man od's, I'm supposed to give him a special medicine but with everything that happened, it slipped my mind. You may come with me if you want"
"Oh, why didn't you just lead with that? Alright, let's go" I was quick to remove myself from the man but I had to question why he was tilting his head at me. "Are you sure? Doflamingo-ya's house isn't exactly that most pleasant place to visit" Having already witnessed that older male's 'episode' I was a little wary of going to his house but with Law there, I'm sure everything would work out. "It's fine now hurry up before I decide you can't leave the house"
I had moved to stand just beside the bed although as Law threw the covers to the side I couldn't help when a giggle exited my mouth at the man's childish act. "You're brave I'll give you that (Y/n)-ya. Just let me change your bandages before we go" Of course he'd be in doctor mode but as I thought back to how rough he was when changing them last time I was a little reluctant to let him near my wounds. "Alright, but can you be gentle this time?"
"When was I ever rough with you?" His face showed confusion but I didn't believe the act for a second. "Real funny Law" When that smirk appeared on his lips, I knew exactly what he was playing at but chose to ignore it as I took a seat at the end of the bed. "I still need to disinfect it (Y/n)-ya so it may sting a bit" That was totally doctor code for prepare to bite something and try not to kick me. "Or hurt like hell" I was thankful Law was even taking time out of his day to deal with me but I wasn't going to make things easy for him. "You're a difficult patient (Y/n)-ya"
"And you're a weird med student"
"Sleeves up"

Doflamingo's Pov
"Young Master?" I was done dealing with people today but as my family entered the room, I only scanned the members before reaching for my drink. They wouldn't be receiving a response from me however as they began to speak amongst themselves, I felt my grip tighten around the glass. "Maybe we shouldn't bother him. Just look at his eyes" My sunglasses were somewhere in the room but I didn't care enough to shield my eyes from them. "I'm worried about him. Can't we do something to help him?"
They had nothing to worry about I was perfectly fine. My heart was still pounding away and in my book that was all that mattered. "Tsk. Start by finding that bastard who left him in this state" Could they be referring to my sweet Crocodile? I hope not since killing a family member was not something I wanted to do so early in the morning. "I agree that man needs to be taking care of sooner than later. Should we put out the green light?" My mind might have been fading in and out during their conversation but that one sentence immediately brought me back to reality. "None of you are to touch a single hair on my Croco-chan's head! Get the hell out and shut up!"
"Y-Yes, Young Master!"
'Ring' 'Ring' 'Ri-'
I hadn't expected to receive a call so early but I didn't bother to check the number before I answered it. "What!?" My mood was unpleasant, to say the least, although when a familiar voice filled through the line my heartbeat picked up. "Doflamingo can you not answer the phone like a normal person for once?" I had that man's voice memorized to the point where even in a crowded room I could pick it out but it didn't make sense for him to be calling. "Croco-chan? Why the hell are you calling?"
"Don't take that tone with me. I'm just calling to check up on you since this business trip has been extended by another day. How are you holding up?" He had broken up with me a few days ago but why was he checking up on me? That made no sense although I decided to reply as my drink was placed back down so I couldn't throw it against the wall. "What business trip?" I would have remembered if the man was leaving on a business trip but as I listened to his voice, I really started to question what happened Sunday night and Monday morning. "Moron. The business trip I left for on Monday. Don't tell me you forgot"
"So, that's where you disappeared to? You know a note would have been nice" I had no reason to question where Crocodile currently was but even as I thought back to Sunday night the events were blurry. "I left you one on the nightstand" My thoughts wandered to the bedroom but right now I was too lazy to leave the living room. "No, you didn't"
"Yes, it's underneath that stupid lamp you keep there. I'm not going to fight with you about it. How has your week been going?" Now I loved Crocodile more than anything but I really tried to keep my drug use a secret when he was involved. Sure, he knew I was a user although I doubted the man knew how bad it had gotten. "Fine. How was yours?" Crocodile wasn't a stupid man so as he replied I tried to remain calm. "If it's going so 'fine' then why did Bonez inform me that you overdosed again?"
"It's not a big deal Croco-chan"
"You're going to kill yourself Doflamingo and you can't keep relying on others to fix your mistakes. It'll come to the point where your past saving. Look I have to go back into the meeting but I'll call you later tonight. Goodbye Doflamingo" I didn't bother to reply since the line had already gone silent although his words really stung. "Young Master? Your brother is here" I only had two but neither of them came to the house very often. "Which one?"
"Law and he brought a young lady with him. Should I send them in?"
"Oh, he brought little (Y/n)? Fufufu. Sure, send them in"

This fic contains spoilers, non-con sex (aka. rape), drug and alcohol abuse, violence, yaoi (aka. male on male relationship), severe mental abuse, and emotional abuse. Consider yourselves warned and also, any criticisms will result in more of the objected material so no like no read. No one is forcing you, if horrible rape sex, brutality, and abuse isn’t your style, go read a cute fluff piece. Hope you enjoy. Chapter Two: Seeing the Bars *****Law’s Side***** ‘Damn it!’ The situation just kept getting worse. The pain of losing Corazon three years ago was all coming back just by looking at his murderer. Now he was facing the unimaginable horror of possibly losing his entire crew. For a moment he was the scared little boy of ten, watching everything and everyone he had ever known die around him. ‘No I can’t afford to fall apart now… I need to find another way…’ His mind began to race faster than ever trying to come up with anyway out of this mess. Meanwhile Doflamingo continued to laugh at his own threat, clearly enjoying the way he had unnerved him. ‘Calm down,’ he told himself, ‘I can’t let him get to me or it’s just going to get worse…’ Doflamingo had stopped laughing long enough to realize Law had regained some of his composure. He suppressed a shudder as the homicidal blond leaned in close to his face. He was still unable to move away thanks to the strings and the death grip currently holding his chin. “Did I catch your interest Law?” That silky voice stirred up too many memories, but he forced them back, his crew needed him to focus now. He lifted his gaze back to Doflamingo’s, meeting those red lenses with determination. “What will it take?” The words tasted like bile on his tongue yet he spoke them clearly and without hesitation. Doflamingo paused slightly seemingly confused by the offer. “What do you mean Law?” Not wanting to waste time he quickly elaborated, “What will it take for you to leave my crew and me alone?” Law held back a grimace as the feathery bastard started to laugh once more. ‘Damn it, just get on with it!’ he was usually a very patient man but he was getting easily annoyed by this psychopath. Said annoyance leaned in again with a chuckle. “Fufufu, you haven’t changed much in some ways have you? Still quick to get to the heart of the matter. However I have told you twice now that I am here to see you. Do you really think that I will allow you to slip away from me again?” He was dangerously close to his ear now, “I want you back Law, after all you have and always will be mine.” He couldn’t suppress the shudder those words sent down his spine. This caused another laughing fit from his captor, as he remained powerless in the grip of the man and his vile strings. Still his mind raced looking for a way out, he couldn’t just up and abandon his crew, and like hell he wanted to go anywhere with this bastard. “I don’t belong to anyone, I’ve been freed.” Corazon had given his life to give him his freedom like hell he was going to give it up so easily. Doflamingo seemed to find amusement by his words however, as he continued to chuckle near his ear. “Fufufu, guess I have to remind you who your master is Law…” There was no time to brace as his head was slammed into the floor, resulting in a loud crack and severe pain. The agony brought on by the skull fracture, coupled with the inevitable concussion and blunt force trauma, was almost enough to make him pass out. Only the thoughts of his crew kept him from embracing the mercy of unconsciousness. He felt more strings slipping around his body, successfully binding his hands behind his back and pinning him to the hard cold floor. A hand entangled itself in his hair and pulled him up to stare into that grinning face. He glared at his captor, rebellion sparking up inside his chest, not wanting to give into reason or fear. “Fufufu, still acting tough huh?” the pink clad jackass, licked his lips again. Law hated that, watching that long creepy tongue slither across that wide mad grin. “I’ll have to change that now won’t I?” He felt the hand in his hair pull him in close until his eyes widened in shock as he felt lips against his own. Soon a powerful tongue was pushing its way into his mouth as he struggled as best he could to get free. The hungry appendage continued to ravage his mouth, retreating only at the treat of being bitten. He snarled in rage and disgust, “What the hell was that about you pervert?!” Doflamingo met his accusation with more laughter. “You really have grown Law.” He felt the tongue lick some of the blood off his check from the open head wound. “I’m eager to see how much…” Realization hit Law like the blow from before. Doflamingo was planning on forcing himself upon him, and in his current state there was nothing he could do to prevent it from happening. *****Doffy’s Side***** Law looked so alluring bound by his strings and bleeding slightly. Well perhaps the head wound was a bit worse than Doffy had meant to inflict. Yet when dealing with a personality like Law’s, excessive force was often necessary. He tore his eyes away from those enticing silver hues, to observe the rest of the teen’s lean form. Taking in the long slender legs, and imagining the toned chest hidden behind the hoodie. His gaze settled for a moment on the curve of the teen’s rather nice ass. A prize he would soon claim for himself, and in doing so he would prove that Law was his forever. After all he was not known to share his things, and whether the brat liked it or not he belonged to him. Meaning he would be taught to please him in every way possible, lessons Doffy was only too happy to teach. He reached out slipping his hand into Law’s pants, cupping a cheek in his firm grip. This caused the teen to thrash about in protest before hissing, “Get the hell away from me you fucking bastard!!!” He chuckled again amused by the fact that the younger pirate thought he still had a say in the events to come. Eyes, hidden behind his beloved shades, lingered on that smartass mouth. His grin growing wider with an entertaining idea. He felt himself harden at the sight before him, Law’s chest heaving slightly behind the hoodie, due to the taxing struggle, hands bound behind his back. Blood ran down the side of his face which had lost the soft round features of childhood, and become more defined and alluring during the past three years. Doffy’s gaze fixed itself upon the lips that were parted in pain, and his member twitched. It was time to teach Law another use for that sassy mouth, Doffy straightened and returned to his spot on the bed. He then used his strings to force the boy to resume his previous position of kneeling at his feet. He grinned at the sight of the brat, now beaten and bound, in his rightful place. “Fufufu, shall we give this another try Law?” His reply was a glare of contempt, which only served to make the Shichibukai smile wider. A long fingered hand reached towards his clothed member, stroking gently as he slowly pulled it from its fabric prison. Hateful eyes turned to orbs of shock at the massive organ pulsing before them. Doffy continued his lazy massage as he drank in the teen’s growing fear. “I want you to suck me off Law, and if you even think about using your teeth, I’ll carve up every last one of your little friends. Their lives depend on how well you please me in the next few hours.” He leaned in closer to the slowly despairing young captain. “You know what lengths I have gone to punish those who displease me, don’t force me to destroy everything you hold dear. I know you don’t want to endure that pain a second time.” He watched the realization of his words and threats take hold of the youth, draining all the fight and rebellion out of him. Shoulders slumped in defeat, Law’s mouth drew closer to his throbbing head. Doffy closed his eyes behind his glasses as the warmth of the brat’s breath caressed his arousal. This was going to be fun, afterwards there would be no doubt that the boy belonged to him. ‘Definitely a much better use for that smartass mouth.’ Was the thought that formed as Law began his administrations, first he had licked it from base to head stopping to kiss the swollen tip before continuing back to the base. Once there he drew circles around the sack of sensitive flesh nestled below the mammoth shaft. Doffy opened his eyes to watch the curiously experienced technic before him, had Law done this before? He sincerely hoped not, otherwise someone was in for a rather painful death for the crime of defiling his property. His eyes narrowed as the mouth opened to cradle his balls on a warm velvety tongue. He held back a hiss of pleasure as that same tongue began to coat his flesh in moist heat as it sucked gently in a leisurely rhythm. After a few minutes his jewels were released with a pop, and the little slut, made his way back up the thick shaft. As Law reached the tip a second time, the War Lord decided that it was time to take control again. Slowly he intertwined his fingers through soft black hair, tugging hard causing the teen to gasp in pain. In one swift motion Doffy forced his member halfway down the tight warm throat, laughing as he felt the hot cavern shudder at the violent intrusion. “Fufufu, since you seem to know what you’re doing there’s no need to hold back!” Without waiting for him to adjust the hand holding his head began to move, using the boy’s mouth to pump his length mercilessly. All the while laughing and grinning, at the choking, slobbering, whore being ruthlessly skull fucked before him. *****Law’s Side***** Law barely had time to register what was happening until the asshole above him finally found a suitable pace. Even then he could hardly believe that he was kneeling before his hated enemy, while that enemy forced his unnaturally large member down his throat. It took everything Law had to try and choke down the massive length. Thankfully anatomy was something he knew rather well, within a few hours Law had adjusted his breathing and relaxed his jaw. This allowed him to bare the brutal treatment easier plus it gave him an opportunity to try and turn the tables again. With the use of his powers he focused on making his throat tighten, all the while keeping the organ slick with added saliva. He felt the veins pulsing on his tongue signaling an impending release. With a few more violent thrusts the monster came hard spewing his seed deep into Law’s throat. He was tempted to spit the vile gift onto the ground in spite until he heard the jackass purr. “Swallow it all, or I’ll make you clean it off the floor later…" Law’s face burned in rage and humiliation as he forced the salty liquid down. He refused to meet the War Lord’s gaze knowing the probability of this ordeal was far from over. However he was given little choice as he felt his hair being yanked causing his wound to ach as he was forced to look upon that evil smiling face. “Well done, I can hardly believe that was your first time with a man. Tell me Law, who was your first?” Law wanted to tell Doflamingo to fuck off, but he knew that tone, Doffy was mad. He was in trouble now, and since the fate of his crew hinged on the maniac’s mood Law needed to think fast. Truth be told Law hadn’t been with anyone, well anyone he wanted to be with, he just knew a lot about anatomy. What the body likes and dislikes, he was a doctor after all. Pain and pleasure are hidden all over the body, he just knew where to look. He met the shaded eyes without flinching, “I haven’t been with anyone, I swear. You were the first person to do anything like that with me…” Law could feel his face burning in humiliation at that admission. Doffy however didn’t seem convinced. “You are awfully skilled for your first time. Was it one of your crew mates Law? Are you trying to protect your little friend?” Law tried to answer but the Shichibukai slammed his head down a second time. Pain swam behind his eyes and his head throbbed from the further abuse. His eyes had started to water from the pain of his wounds, and the added agitation of having his hair yanked around, as it was used too once again lift his head. “I will find out who it was Law, make it easier on yourself and tell me. Who has defiled your body?” His head was swimming from the dizziness brought on by severe cranial trauma, and he could feel the nauseating sickness starting to creep up. Doing his best to keep his breathing even, Law set his gaze on the pink clad psychopath. “I am not lying, I haven’t been with anyone. I’m a doctor, I am going by things I have read about, honest.” Law felt the hand release his hair, at the same time he noticed the strings where forcing him to rise, moving him onto Doflamingo’s lap. Strong arms held him in place as the re-hardened appendage poked against the cleft of his ass. As Law’s heart began to feel heavy Doffy started to laugh. “Is that so? Well there is only so much you can learn from books and charts. Why don’t we have some more fun than hmm? You can show me what else you have learned, Fufufu…” Law’s heart was a lump of ice in his chest, he realized that all those years he thought he was free were nothing but a cruel joke. The truth was clear, he had never left the birdcage on Minion Island. He just hadn’t been able to see the bars until now, yet there they were, constricting around him. He would never be free from this man, he had been trapped the moment he set foot in that warehouse three years ago.
