Hi, I'd like to ask you about your headcanons for Kwazii's pirate days.

I'd also like to know your thoughts on the ship between Ranger Marsh and Calico Jack.

HEHEHE YES!!! Ok so my au, Misty Memories, Calico jack (or cj for short) actually left when kwazii was only around 10 years old. During that time Kwazii stayed on a pirate ship called the Salty Spirit, that was part of the Split Tail pirate clan. Cj meant to return in one to two years time and told kwazii to become an even better pirate until he returned. He uh, never did back.

Anyways Kwazii certainly had time to learn about navigation, treasure hunting, pirate War fare, survival skills, fighting skills, how to trade food for information with animals, and so on...

There was an incident that happened a long time ago that he can't really recall the details of. He just knows that he ended up leaving to set sail to find his own adventure and his own treasure! (And maybe to find his grandad... but he wasn't experienced enough to go to the amazon, so he had to get some experience!)

So most of kwaziis teen years were spent surviving alone (well he made some animal friends) on islands and open seas-

Maybe or maybe not pickpocketing a little bit from ports and selling stolen engine and supplies from other boats- (if you're mean to dolphins and hurt lil critters u TOTALLY deserve it anyways, I mean pirates stole from rich mean people all the time so whats the difference really?) Imagine this scraggly kitten teen threatening some unethical fishermen 💀���� like he did get in some scraps but he won? So yay? He even kind of sort of legally bought his own boat-

Kwazii also learned that he Didn't Understand Land Lubbers, that AN ABANDONED LIGHTHOUSE CAN MAKE A GREAT PIRATE BASE, and that the dolphin baby u saved when u were 16 from a fishing trap will always rememeber u and return the favor <3

He totally also didn't (*wink wink*) steal any supplies or anything valueable from sea ports and definitely didn't ransack any old archives for treasure leads- He was successful in finding treasure though- after all he DID have insider pirate knowledge.

Of course... after a while he realized well.. the person he was originally searching for- (Cj?) He.. there were no signs that he was at any safe spot or meeting spot or pirate spot he knew of.... so he had to accept maybe his grandad never returned because he was gone... he hoped he could at least find the treasure his grand dad couldn't some day, to honor him, even if it was a stupid backburner dream.... ;)

So he def got into some pirate shenanigans and whatnot, but he wasnt... really *in* the real pirate world with actual heists and all that yk? And just dreaming about his grandad and this fantasy.... until he met an overheated polar bear who very much under estimated the tropical heat.... more on that here just ignore the old art i hate itttttttttt so much uueuuehghh

CALICO JACK AND RANGER MARSH

About cj and marsh tho- honestly so much of this is just my own headcanons and characterization but-

I'm gonna be real I'm aro ace so most of my ships are probably somewhere on that spectrum, but I really like them alot ^v^!! like HELLO an old pirate man who acts all sweet and soft with the "kiddos" but (at least in my au) is a total feral lil gremlin with anyone his age???? An old AUTISTIC AS HELL Park ranger who Thinks He's A Normal Guy and is like "hey maybe I should just live my life nearly totally isolated lol" AND THEN SEES THE OLD PIRATE MAN AND GOES DAMN NEVER MIND???

I just think cj is incredibly lonely but very afraid of connecting to people after years and years of isolation (his dead wife told him in his dreams to get over himself 💀👍) and marsh is just having a mid life crisis because he's been stuck in this repitition of life and is worried.. maybe he made some wrong choices and he's losing out on what could've been cuz he was too scared to try anything...

I think cj would be all "oh nooo I'm a wee ol pirate cat 🥺" and act like he doesn't remember normal social norms and boundaries just to get into marshes life. And marsh hasn't made a real friend or vulnerable relationship with like ANYONE in decades and he's just questioning his life choices and then he suddenly has to deal with this two faced GREMLIn of a man.

I just think its beautiful and that they'd bond over "old men sitting in silence on the porch in the morning", having Old Man Regrets TM, being afraid of change, and also USING OLD FASHIONED THINGS AND HAVING ANIMAL FRIENDS YOU TREAT LIKE PEOPLE BUT VERY DEEPLY UNDERSTAND ARE FERAL 🗣🗣🗣

Edit thread story of the NDA helping take care of a fever stricken Yuma~ 🌡️

“You’re such a handful… Come. Let’s head back to the agency for you to recuperate.”

Halara escorts a very dizzy Yuma back to base safely lending him their shoulder to lean on. Making sure no Peacekeepers can mess with them. The bright lights of the city aren’t helping his throbbing headache so his eyes remain shut. Halara also picked up the supplies needed from Kanai's shops. (spending their own money in the process no less) They’re still not used to touching Yuma yet so they feel a bit awkward. 💦

“Yuma you’re burning up. And you’re shaking like a leaf. Go sit down and I’ll go and get you a blanket.”

Upon return and Halara’s explanation, Yakou walks over and checks Yuma’s temperature (with the back of his hand) He’s burning and shivering from the fever induced chills. He quickly ushers him to sit down on the sofa he sleeps on. Then he lets him borrow the blanket from his own bed to keep warm. ���

"Yuma are you okay? Here, let's check your temperature..."

When Yuma sits down wrapped in Yakou's blanket gripping it tightly still shivering, Kurumi sits right beside him. Although Yakou already checked for a fever, she worries deeply for his state and insists on taking a device reading of his body temperature, using the thermometer Halara bought. When the device is inserted, it turns out to be about 39 degrees (102 degrees f) 🌡️🥵

“Alright Yuma, here's your medicine. Open up, my man. Down the hatch.”

After Kurumi leaves temporarily, Desuhiko sits next to Yuma. He's told by Yakou to give him the liquid medicine that Halara bought earlier. It was a strong fever reducer. After some hesitation, he finally takes it. But it was very strong and bitter. He didn’t like it very much 💀💊

“Here Yuma, I was told that warm soup is always the best if you don’t feel well! This should help to heal you!”

Fubuki cooks and feeds Yuma some nice hot soup from the ingredients that were bought. (Kurumi helps her make it) Even if he doesn’t finish it all, he still enjoys how warm it is with what little he does eat 🥣 It was warm enough to stop his body from shivering.

“This fever is… persistent… What a pain… I wanna die someday…”

Vivia rests in the dark with Yuma after everyone works on cooling him off with ice water. (and ice) due to his fever suddenly spiking later in the night. (rising to nearly 103) So Vivia stays with him until he’s stable. They both end up falling asleep, and Vivia places his cool hand against Yuma’s warm hand. 🤝 They remain this way through the night.

"Sheesh Master, you're so pathetic... Don't worry me like that again. I thought you were a goner for sure..."

Yuma wakes up the next morning with his fever finally broken. Shinigami lays beside him with her ghostly hand over him as if she was hugging him. She mutters something under her breath, and he hears every word. He smiles placing his hand to her form, even though he can't feel it. 👻

He couldn't have been more thankful to have such kind friends

Maybe even a family 💕

• Armin is the type of boyfriend to automatically know when your period starts because he keeps track of it with an app on his phone

•over the time that you two have been dating he will watch to see what kind of things you crave during your period and will make sure that you always have a box full of your craving foods so that you don't ever have to go to the store

•Armin keeps supplies at his house so that if you're ever on your period and you are at his house he has everything you need. (This man has the exact pad size you need, tampons too, pain medicine, teas, he even has a really good heating pad)

•don't be afraid to ask him for anything weather that be food, cuddles, space, or even just for him to grab something for you. He's always happy to give you anything you want or need😭

•although he can be a little slow he always remember everything that you need during this time.

•if you don't really feel like doing anything that day he'll grab blankets and your heating pad from your room and set them up on the couch, he'll also order takeout and get snacks from the kitchen so you two can just have a chill movie night

•overall Connie is a slow dumbass who is sweet and caring

A guide for Replacing JP PSP 2000 Screens

Hello!!!!!

I was inspecting my PSP and realized that my screen had a chip/dent that distorts the image quality 😢. So I decided to replace it, and record my experience while doing so!

I stumbled across many hurdles that didn't have solid answers(COUGH SCREWS COUGH), due to the type of PSP I own (2000, JP ver. ). So, I wanted to make a post that detailed EVERYTHING required to replace a screen. Hopefully this helps!

Purchasing Supplies

I found the best luck for PSP parts on Ebay, especially since shipping is considerably cheaper and faster in comparison to Amazon. However, I have seen sites like this:

Which offer parts at a good price, although I can't 100% vouch for them.

I personally bought my LCD screen from here , since they have alot of reviews and are an American seller (same country = faster shipping). They also offer an add-on kit with most of the random supplies you may need (electrical tape/glue, wedge to pry open delicate parts, Phillips screwdrivers, etc.), which saves a lot of energy, BUT, everyone's device is different.

If you have an American PSP, then that's all you really need, but if you have the Japanese version, you probably need a Torx screwdriver with a T1, T2, and T3 size. The kit doesn't have this (Only T5/T6), so you'll have to buy it in person or online.. They're easy to find in a set. I personally purchased my screwdrivers on Amazon, however this specific set doesn't come with a casing.

Why am I saying a range of Torx screwdrives instead of 1? Well, in my experience, I needed 2 separate sizes (T2, T3) to remove the Torx screws (even though they looked deceptively close to a T5, and generally just looked similar) ... So to save yourself the hassle; buy a set. Dunno why my PSP came with different Torx screws, but I guess I'm just unlucky! 💀

If you're unsure of what type of screws you have, watch the videos later in this post, and inspect your PSP. Everything should be visible without disassembling (You'll have to take out a battery and possibly remove a sticker though.) You're specifically looking for the shape of the screws, which will resemble the patterns in this diagram:

These are labelled, and will allow you to identify the screw type when purchasing. I personally needed Phillips and Torx.

So, here's my recommendation on what to buy:

Torx T3, T2, and T1 screw drivers (Buy in a set with larger sizes to be safe. If you have an American PSP then you shouldn't need this, but again read what I said above this. T1 isn't NECESSARY, but better safe than sorry?)

1.5 Philips screw driver (3.0 mm)

2 Flat, wedge/like tools for removing parts

Electrical Tape/Glue (Optional, I personally didn't need it but good to have.)

Screen Protector, 'cos the screen and casing are VERY scratch prone

Installation

To be honest, I'm not a tech guy, so I won't bother explaining how to do this word for word. However, here are some videos that I followed exactly, and they should work for you. Beyond the screws, JP and USA PSP's are mostly alike, with some differences that are insignificant for what we're trying to accomplish. I'll also piggy back off the information given with my own tips so you (hopefully) don't screw up your PSP!

This video has a good angle of how to install the LCD screen cables into the motherboard, go to (7:22)

Keep your screws in a safe place! I personally put them in plastic baggies, just incase I knock something over. This prevents scattering, and possibly losing screws. You REALLY don't wanna do that, since these screws keep the casing of your PSP together. You could also use a cup, bottlecap, or anything really.

2. Be careful, especially when removing the casing and screen. Those are the harrowing part of the installation, since too much force can genuinely ruin the motherboard, or rend a button or two useless. Take your time, and ease it out.

3. When inserting the screen cables into the motherboard, make sure it's in there completely. It should be a snug fit . The second video perfectly shows how it can be done, but again every console is different.

4) KEEP YOUR OLD SCREEN, until you've confirmed that the new one works. I've read some horror stories of new screens having dead pixels, scratches, etc., and you only find out once the new screen is installed. For this reason, hold onto your old screen until you've confirmed that all is good.

But honestly, this is not the hardest of things to do. As long as you're gentle, and follow the instructions then ya should realistically run into no problems. It's a pretty quick installation, with all things considered, so yeah! Hopefully this was helpful, and stay tuned for more PSP modding posts! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

digital absolutely sjfjfjjfjfjfdk i don’t have enough trust in myself to be able to keep up with traditional tbh and in the last years i have developed way too many issues with concentrating that i would end up making horrible messes on paper?? i say this as someone who’s been drawing on paper since childhood bc obviously i didn’t get a graphic tablet/ipad until much much later but yeah i don’t think i can do traditional the way i used to anymore.

part of my drawing process involves me literally scribbling all over the canvas while making the sketch and erasing and editing and flipping and moving and erasing again and drawing a bunch of doodled dicks and tiny poo emojis and it’s like. a ritual at this point LOL i feel weird about my painting if i don’t. it’s literally the reason why i almost never post speedpaints that start from the sketch 💀💀💀💀 i’d end up embarrassing myself in front of everyone with a video showing every little poo with eyes i keep drawing as i sketch

and that’s the biggest advantage for me tbh! being able to literally go crazy on the canvas without having to worry about wasting colors and ruining paper sheets; also the ability to just flip the canvas and check for perspectives, color picking, greyscale painting, light effects, rainbows- it’s really hard to get the same effect i think kinda characterizes my art in traditional with my current set of skills.

another disadvantage for me unfortunately is that keeping up with traditional art is really, really, really, really expensive for me. it’s something i really can’t afford to practice seriously at the moment. i still own every single brush, every single art supply, every single paint i bought in middle school and i am so careful when handling them bc they’re so precious to me! and every now and then i will take them out and do a lil watercolor, or draw something with nice copic markers, or even take out an actual canvas and do paint studies. it’s been a while since i’ve last done that tho

HOWEVER i gotta say, nothing beats the satisfaction of spending days on an actual painting with acrylics, oils and whatnot and seeing it come alive bit by bit. my favorite thing to paint growing up was degas’ ballerinas and like 99% of my paint studies are just replicating his artwork SMDJDMFJ but hey, that got me the highest grade in art for middle school graduation :D
