Hey. I'm putting my hand on your shoulder as I say this. It is not their responsibility to redeem anyone who tries to kill them, especially since the rat grinders are canonically beyond reasoning. They have rage crystals embedded in their hearts, as long as that persists, there's likely no way of convincing them to side with Goodness. When Adaine almost got hit with a rage crystal, the question Brennan asked was "what would the world look like if rage was her only motivator?" Or something along those lines. Those kids, kids as they may be, are motivated by nothing but pure anger and a rage towards specifically the Bad Kids, like, if anyone could rehabilitate them, it would not be The Kids They Specifically Hate, Even Before The Crystals Ever Came Into Play
