I guess I’m also annoyed by all the defeatism around “old people will never accomplish anything, we’re the only savior generation and if we don’t get voted in I guess nothing good can happen” when Massachusetts and Indiana increasingly feel like different countries. And Massachusetts has like, Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey who are so old.
#like it is in fact possible for meaningful change to happen without revolution#(but yeah I also know that a lot of red state democrats suck but idk not all! not all at all)#and I do think Donnelly sucked as a person but he voted lockstep with the dems#on legislation where if he didn’t everything would be worse
