Xavier and Legion reunite

In Way of X, Kurt discovered Legion's brain in an ORCHIS facility about to blow up reality. After killing the brain, David was eligible for resurrection. Charles didn't want to use Cerebro to install his consciousness, so Legion did it himself. Not a great start. Vulcan ends up doing this too - though he overpowers Chuck and takes his brain back with force. Legion just exists on the astral plane independent of his body so he can do shit like that.

Eventually they sat down to chat while David and Kurt were secretly working on thwarting Onslaught. There's some nice honesty there but Xavier only ended up saying nice things when he was possessed or influenced by malicious entities, unfortunately. Charles can't sense Onslaught and David doesn't want to panic everyone.

Err, it doesn't end very well, with Onslaught starting a murder party leading Legion and the Xorn brothers to vaporise everyone (stopping a crisis.) Onslaught's influence encouraged Charles to blame David, exiling him to Mars. Ironically, Legion is as happy and stable as he's ever been, except for the total rejection by his father. I wonder what he's up to now. He was last seen helping Hope kill the Phoenix in the White Hot Room but when The Hopesword he was in returned to Kurt it did no talking. He'll be back - The Brevoort has said so. I really hope he's not Inmate X.
