Before the Great War, the Northeri were the Elven rulers of the Northern Sunrealm. Their great Empire would however quickly succumb when they too were engulfed by the chaos of the conflict.

Centuries later, their ancient kingdom lies in ruins, yet they themselves endure and mimick the ways of old. Even know, the tiny remnants of their species attempt to bring back the former glory of their civilization.

Chapter 5: Mount Evermore Also known as the hollow mountain or the shadowlands, Mount Evermore is rumored to be older than the world itself. Great secrets are said to be concealed in its depths, but journeying inside is highly dangerous, as ancient stone creatures roam the darkness. Few of those who enter this realm of shadow ever come out, and those who do are forever changed by the forbidden knowledge they found.

history of IVALICE 

The story of this game is narrated according to the Old Valendian Calendar, the very first year begins with the founding of the Galtean Alliance by Dynast King Raithwall.  

The history of Ivalice can be divided into three major periods:

"Ancient Era" before the emergence of Dynast Kings,

"Middle Age" during the Galtean Alliance,

and "Modern Age" after the fall of the Galtean Alliance.

In the following sections, we will follow these three periods and unravel the history of Ivalice up to the year 706 of the Old Valendian Calendar, where Vaan's story begins.

Column: Situation in the year 704 of the Old Valendian Calendar --- Before the fall of Nabradia

The Kingdom of Nabradia, which bordered the Empire of Archadia, had been under constant diplomatic pressure from the Empire. To strengthen relations with her sister kingdom Dalmasca, the Kingdom of Nabradia arranged the betrothal of the second prince Rasler, with Ashelia of Dalmasca.

Meanwhile, in Nabradia, the "neo-Rozarrian faction" which sought to bring in fleet from mainland Rozarria grew in number, causing internal struggle which boiled over into civil war. In the name of suppressing the civil war, Vayne, the third prince of the Emperor of Archadia, marched his army into Nabradia and destroyed the kingdom before Rozarria could send contigency.

The kingdom of Nabradia seemed to have destroyed itself in the civil war, but it was Vayne who pulled the strings behind the scenes. It was Vayne who was behind the scenes manipulating the neo-Rozarrian faction in Nabradia. However, there are very few people who knew about this fact and Vayne’s schemes.

Worldbuilding is great because you can reuse ideas all the time to make even better things. I just hoard every idea I've ever used, thought was cool, or wanted to do something with but didn't know what and paste them together later on to make something new and improved.

Skytheron

Abilities: Aeroblade Increases the critical hit ratio of its flying-type moves.

Metal Fortress Reduces damage from Steel and Rock-type moves.

Description: Skytheron soars as the emperor of the skies in the Shinwamon world. With wingspan wide enough to cast shadows over entire villages, it embodies the power of the winds and the unyielding nature of steel. The icy blue and sharp orange accents on its body signify the dual chill of the high altitude and the searing focus of its steel-clad talons. Legends say that Skytheron was born from the heart of a dying star, and its flight paths often mirror the constellations. Its presence in the sky is a blessing for the worthy and a harbinger of awe for all who gaze upon it.
