Does anyone else dress up their fan in goofy outfits or just me? Bc pedestal fans, and other fans have lil necks u can give Kandi necklaces and bandannas and you can just watch them rotate while wearing them and it’s super duper cute so I just wanna know if there’s other fan owners who do this I RRLLLY don’t wanna be the only one aaaa-

pedestal fans, like all electric fans, are a carnivorous species most commonly found in dry, densely-forested areas (though they are sometimes found in humid forests as well). they come in many sizes and shapes, but they generally don't get taller than people. they're mainly known for their aggression towards humans and other objects. these are very solitary objects that are rarely observed in the wild; little is known about their feeding habits, mating behaviors and how they raise children. they don't do well in captivity and become extremely stressed in laboratory conditions, so more study on these creatures is needed.

there are some theories, though. it's been hypothesized that their spinning blades are used to deter predators, but due to their scarcity in the wild this is mostly just a theory. it could also be to help them navigate in the dense forests they live in through cutting vegetation, or it could play a part in mate selection. we just don't know. hopefully someday we can gain more insight into the lives of these objects.

desk fans are a similar species we know more about. these are a smaller domestic species first used for pest control due to their aggression, and they quickly became widespread thanks to their abilities. it's hard to gain their trust, but they can become extremely loyal to their human companions if given the time and space they require to be fully comfortable and happy!

A little weird as they do not change this one otherwise -- another one of the theme with Betty's dad relating to the 1950s (though I would have to look again to see if it necessarily his own) against Betty's experienced contemporary "vcr air conditioned 90s" (commas and hyphens or not), what with fax machines and what not. The story is seemingly kept in 1990, no fumbling for updated technology, yet out goes this one reference to the current decade. The one thing you can say is that maybe in 1990 Archie Comics was a little too in for pronouncing "It's the 90s!!"

you ever go into a tag for a show or whatever and find several painstakingly created gif sets from interviews with the actors where they're just like. fully mocking fans? talking about them like they're the most despicable thing on this earth kind of bitter mocking. and on the one hand you're like, okay, i get it, fans can really be shit and get overly parasocial and think you owe them something beyond the work you created but on the other it's like. bro this makes me not want to engage with anything you do at all. ever. you don't have to sing your fans praises but you can do them the basic courtesy of professionalism and not ridiculing the entirety of everyone who both engages with your creative work and whose interest ultimately results in your paycheck.

Guys this is Airy, I adopted him from the thrift store a couple weeks ago :)

Not much to say about this cute fella yet other than he’s really attached to Fanny and he gets grumpy when we least expect him to. We’re a bit surprised that his light still works despite having been sitting on a shelf for who knows how long. He likes when I turn on his light and shows it off around Fanny (who just does her own thing most of the time). Overall, he’s energetic, unpredictable and just plain adorable… and the perfect snuggling size!

Darktown must be cold as fuck tbh, Anders is wearing so many layers. That Sea Green cropped jacket with the feathers is one. The plaid overcoat under it. Then that grey... smock? Dress? Shirt? And some pants plus those boots.

Even if it's not and he's sweating to death in the muggy sewers it's a small price to pay and that just proves his dedication to the craft (fashion)! ✨ Our boy is a real trendsetter and everyone is SO jealous of his flimsy ponytail and 47 layers of clothing, that's why 95% of apostates in DAI look like clones of him, I think. He's just that stylish! Everyone wants to be him!!
