Whispers of the Forgotten | pt. 7
pairing: azriel x reader | type: angst | words: 2k words | warnings: mentions of trauma | masterlist
Your neck is aching when you throw it back and release a loud groan. Your eyes are already burning from staring into books the whole day. Outside Velaris has already entered the night â many hours agoâ, but you are still sitting here, your back sore from being bent over the books for hours.Â
The orange candle on the table, the only light source in the living room of the house of wind at this point, has almost burnt down to nothing, but you need it just a few more minutes.Â
You are so close, you know it. The solution is right there, you just need to grasp it.
Reaching forward, you place your hand on the onyx box, sharp nails piercing into it. With the index finger of your other hand you trail over some ancient spells written in lettering that is now longer used. The spells are most likely witches runes, you are not familiar with them, but with the help of Nesta and maybe also Amren, you will be able to open the box.
You can feel it. You can feel how the small casket reacts to your touch, to the idea of being opened. It is burning with emotion, so hot your palm heats.Â
You are so close â so close to opening this damn box. And so close to freedom. You will be allowed to roam freely when this is over, no one will ever lock you away again. Once the box is open you will demand your amulet back. With it your powers will return and then you are gone. To the continent or wherever the wind takes you.Â
GoneâŠinvoluntarily your thoughts wander to the shadowsinger. He is also gone. Has been gone for a few days now. Gone just like back then. When he left you behind, broken and bloody. He did not even check to see if you are alright. If your wounds are too deep. If you will survive.Â
Rhysandâs words hollow in your mind, loud, strong, and you force your eyes closed, fighting against the tears.Â
âMy fatherâŠhe threatened the other female in Azrielâs life. The only other female he would have given his life for. This was the only way to protect you both.â
All those years, you have wondered what Azrielâs reasons were. Why he betrayed you like this. Why he never came to see you. You donât know if you will ever be able to forgive him, but what you know is that you want to give him another chance to talk. You want to hear it from him. Everything. Every little thing he has to say. You want him to talk about his mother, about how he locked you in the Prison, the moments after it, the moment when he found out what the Harp was capable of. He owes you all the explanations and you owe him your time to listen.
You shake your head, directing every thought that threatens to stray into Azrielâs direction at matter at hand again â Koscheiâs onyx box. You need to open it and you are so close. You flip over to the next page, finding more cryptic lettering. Your eyes are closed when your fingers trail over the words, the runes, the pictures and you feel it. This is it.Â
Jumping up, the chair scratches over the ground with a loud noise. You need to find Nesta, and you need to find her now. You really hope she is not currently otherwise occupied with a certain general of the Illyrian armies because you really need to talk to her.
Blowing out the candle, you turn swiftly and head for the corridor, running as fast as your feet can take you, your thin, silken gown swishing around your legs. You head up the stairs, towards Nesta and Cassianâs main bedroom, but stop dead in your tracks when your eyes land on him. When his moan of agony pierces through your mind.Â
The door to his bathroom is open, his bloody chest exposed, large wings draped on the ground, his hands braced on the edges of the sink.Â
You canât tear your eyes away and fully on your own accord your feet start to walk, no longer moving you towards Nestaâs room, but to him. You canât stop yourself, it is like something is pulling you to him. And you know what it is â the tug on your chest. Before his betrayal you had loved the idea of it. Then everything came crashing down, and you hated it. You have been clamping down on the feeling of it for centuries, pushing it away, but now seeing him bloody and wounded âseeing your mate bloody and woundedâ fire ignites deep within your soul, the bond once more coming alive inside of you.
âAzriel.â Your voice trembles, heart squeezing at the gaping wounds marring his entire torso, dripping with blood and puss. It looks awful and painful. Your fingers curl towards your palms.
He whips his head into your direction, and with a crooked smile, he says, âIt isnât as bad as it looks.â
âBullshit,â you answer and step into the bathroom. âYou look like you have been attacked by a beast, those wounds are deep. You need a healer to look over them.â When your eyes lifts, they clash with his.Â
âDonât act like you care,â he mumbles, holding your gaze.
âYou have no right to snap at me, Azriel,â you answer in a stern voice, ânot after everything that has happened between us, not after everything you did to me.â
âI am sorry.â
âI know.â You close the door behind you and fully move into the room, reaching for the cloth on the sink that is no longer white, but has no a pinkish colour, stained from all the blood. You clasp it tightly in your hand, and without saying a word, attach the cloth to Azrielâs wounded skin. He sucks in a sharp intake of air, then holds his breath and lets you do your work. âI am ready to talk, Azriel.â
He doesnât say anything, but his fingers curl around the edge of the sink, scarred knuckles turning white. âI needed time, I needed time to adapt, to understand, to progress, but I am ready to talk now.â You tip your head back and meet his hazel eyes, a flicker of hope within them now that you revealed that you are ready to talk to him.Â
âRhysand told me about your mother.â
âHis father threatened to execute her. I needed to protect her, but I need you to know that I didnât choose her over you. I wasâŠtorn. I only had a few people in my life that I loved, and risking oneâs life for that of anotherâŠI only tried toââ
âKeep us both safe. I know this now.â Your hand moves lower, brushing over a wound on his lower belly that disappears behind the pants of his Illyrian leathers.Â
âI was trying to get you out. I was looking for ways once all threats were gone, butâŠonly when we found the Harp I had a solution on how to do it. I knew how I was going to get you.â
You nod slowly, and put the cloth aside. âLetâs patch you up and then we talk properly, yes?â
It is a big step you are taking, but you know you have to do it. You finally have to talk to him. Your heart is racing both with panic about being so close to the person that has hurt you most in your life, but also with relief that you can finally be near him without feeling like the air to breathe has been stolen from you. He still unnerves you, but now that you have learned more about why he acted like this, talking to him seems easier.Â
You have to talk to him. For yourself. You need to know everything. Find out what really were his reasons.
âIn my room?â Azriel asks in a calm voice.Â
You nod again and set out to do exactly what you said â patching him up.Â
âââââ ââ
âœâŸ â
â âââââ
âHe showed me what he would do to her. All the cruel things. And all the cruel things he would do to you. He invaded my mind and showed it to me.âÂ
You find yourself nodding again, tears lining your eyes. You sit next to him on the bed, Azrielâs head resting on the pillow, close to your hips, his chest now bandaged, his body covered by the thin bed sheet. âI had no choice.â
You want to tell him that everyone always has a choice, but in this case, this was truly the only way to do it. You have been listening to him for the past hour or even longer, soft moonlight filtering in through the curtain-framed windows. It is the only lightsource, but you donât need more. You close your eyes, your soul for the first time calm and at ease in his presence. Azriel has been talking the whole time, a rarity you think, because centuries ago when you were together he was always rather calm.Â
âDid it really hurt you to put me in the Prison?â
You feel the bed shift next to you, and a moment later his scarred digits brush your hand. âWhat a questionâŠâ You can hear how he draws in a deep inhale and his hand closes tightly around yours. âIt tore me apart. It felt like someone ripped out my heart, and tore it into pieces. Like my soul lost its life, like it was diminished and I could never ever feel happiness again. All the years, the centuries that passed, where I couldnât free you, destroyed more parts of my soul.â
You slide down on the pillow, not letting go of his hand, until you are on eye-level with him. His head is turned to you, and he is already looking at you when you open your lids.Â
âI knew the first moment I could find a way to free you, to get you out, I would do it. You were bound to the Prison by the High Lordâs magic, you couldnât get out alone, not even if I had tried to. It was only possible through the Harp â the Dead Troveâs magic is stronger than any High Lordâs.â
You deep your chin, nodding slowly, the back of your mouth aching. âI thought you hated me, you loathed and feared me just like everyone else. That our whole relationship was a false-pretence.â
His throat bobs. âI didnât fake a single thing â every I love you, every kiss, every hug, whenever we made love, I meant it all. And I meant when I said that I would protect youâŠI never meant to hurt you. To destroy you.â
You shift closer on the bed. âDo you know why your soul hurt after you put me into the Prison?â
âBecause I lost the love of my life.â He pushes up on his elbows, groaning due to the wounds on his chest that have not yet healed. He shifts onto his side, now looking directly at you, but you shake your head.Â
âNo, Azriel,â you say, âyour soul hurt because we were mates and the bond broke the moment you closed the gates to my cell.â

So, You Wanna Know About?: The Evil Eye
The concept of the âevil eyeâ exists in virtually every culture worldwide, as do amulets such as the nazar and hamsa. It's a fundamental part of most folk groups' magic and culture, which is why we use it as a symbol for our server. But what do we know about this concept and the symbols and practices surrounding it? Letâs take a second and explore.
What Exactly Is The Evil Eye?
In simplest terms, the evil eye is âa curse transmitted through a malicious glare, usually one inspired by envy.â [1] It's believed that this glare can cause misfortune, illness, injury, death, and general misery. [3] Pregnant women, infants, young children, and animals are thought to be especially susceptible. [4]
The Evil Eyeâs First Appearance
Historians are unsure of the exact date the evil eye and amulets used to ward them off were invented, however, we can find examples going as far back as ancient Mesopotamia. Texts have been found in Ugarit (located in modern-day Syria) attesting to the concept until roughly 1180 BC. [2] According to Dr Nese Yildiran, âThe earliest version of eye amulets goes back to 3,300 BC ⊠The amulets had been excavated in Tell Brak, one of the oldest cities of Mesopotamia â modern-day Syria. They were in the form of some abstract alabaster idols made with incised eyes.â [1]
The Evil Eye Travels
Various things across history such as trade, travel, colonization, and immigration have caused the evil eye to travel the world. It spread through the SWANA region at first, but soon traveled to all continents worldwide: â[The evil eye has] occurred in ancient Greece and Rome, in Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, and Hindu traditions ... [and in] Indigenous, peasant, and other folk societies.â [4] Historians have found it difficult to trace exact lines of transmission of the idea, but it notably seemed to spread rapidly among the common folk or working class. [5] It wasn't long before its presence became known across all continents, though it has always varied across time and space. For example âIn Roman times, not only were individuals considered to possess the power of the evil eye but whole tribesâŠwere believed to be transmitters of the evil eye.â [6] This is very different from how the evil eye exists in the current regions of the previous Roman Empire, as these tribes no longer exist.
It Came With The Amulets!
One of the earliest amulets associated with the evil eye is the nazar. Its name comes from the Arabic ââÙÙŰžÙ۱ââ (naĂ°Ë€ar) meaning âsight,â with many other languages adopting this term or creating their own. [7] The blue eye-shaped bead most commonly associated with this particular amulet is âmade of a mixture of molten glass, iron, copper, water, and salt, ingredients that are thought to shield people from evil.â [8] Its blue color may be because âblue eyes are relatively rare [in the SWANA region], so the ancients believed that people with light eyes, particularly blue eyes, could curse you with just one look. This belief is so ancient, even the Assyrians had turquoise and blue-eye amulets.â [9] A similar amulet adopted from the nazar is the hamsa, similarly originating in the SWANA region. [10] The two have become perhaps the most widespread and well-known amulets, though they are certainly not the only ones.
Evil Eye Across Cultures & Religions
NOTE: this is not an exhaustive list, but a jumping off point.Â
Judaism: The evil eye can be found across various Jewish literature, from the Tanakh to the Talmud, and even books like Pikeri Avot. [11] Itâs known best as the âayin haraâ which is Hebrew for the evil eye, though it may have different names across diaspora (for example, in Jewish-Spanish languages like Ladino it might be known as âMal de Ojoâ) [12] There are various customs to protect one from the evil eye across the Jewish diaspora, such as neckbands worn by boys for their brit milah, in the regions of Alsace, Southern Germany, and Switzerland just to name one. [13] One of our Jewish server members, Yosef, says âI'm Jewish and have been all my life ... my family is eastern European and we have gone to orthodox shul and (no) evil eye and other related symbols are prevalent in my family's practice along with the practice of my synagogues ... as such I constantly carry around the symbolâ
Islam: The evil eye as a concept in Islam, known as the âal-Êœaynâ is common. It's believed to destroy one's good fortune or cause illness. [14] Various phrases including âMashallahâ (God has willed it) are used to ward off the evil eye â âThe imperativeness of warding this all too evident evil eye off is common among local communities. Not only did the absence of a âmashallahâ tempt fate but it is also believed certain individuals have the power to conjure up the dark forces of the evil eye.â [15]
Italy: The evil eye in Italian is known as the âmalâocchio.â [16] In some regions, the cornicello ("little horn") is an amulet used to ward off the evil eye. It comes from Naples and itâs usually made of red coral and pepper shaped. [17] According to Antonio Pagliarulo, âsome families, depending on the region of Italy from which they come, will pin the amulet to a baby's clothing either immediately before or immediately after his or her baptism.â [18]
Ireland: In Ireland, the evil eye is known as âDroch-shĂșil.â [19] There are a few various Irish folktales about the presence of the evil eye that warn of its dangers. One example is the tale of King Balor. The tale goes that âBalor was a king of the Formorians, the ancient inhabitants of Ireland (before the coming of the Tuatha DĂ© Danann). He is often described as a giant with a huge eye in the middle of his forehead. This eye brought death and destruction [onto] anyone he cast his gaze upon. He had gained this power from peering into a cauldron that contained a powerful spell that was being created by some druids. The vapors from the cauldron got into his eye when he looked inside which gave him the power of his deathly gaze. The most memorable instance of Balor using his eye is the story of his death at the battle of Maigh Tuireadh. In this famous battle between the Formorians and the Tuatha DĂ© Danann, Balor fell in battle at the hands of his own grandson, the pan-Celtic god Lugh, when he thrust his spear (or sling depending on the telling) through the eye of the giant. His eye was blown out the back of his head, turning his deadly gaze on his own men, destroying the forces of the Formorians. A piece of Dindseanchas (meaning lore of places) tells us that the place where his head fell and burned a hole in the ground, later filled with water and became known as âLough na Suilâ or âThe Lake of the Eyeâ. Interestingly, this lake disappears every few years when it drains into a sinkhole. Local mythology says that this happens to ensure that the atrocities of the battle may never be forgotten.â [20]
Germany: In German, the evil eye is known as the âBölser Blickâ, something that is cured by a variety of methods such as red string, prayer, salt, iron, and incense. [21]
Poland: In Poland the evil eye is called "zĆe oko" or "zĆe spojrzenie." [23] In some regions, they use amulets known as "czarownica" which are charms often made from herbs, metals, or stones, or specific gestures believed to ward off the evil eye. In many Polish homes, you might find them hanging on the walls. A âczarownicaâ might also be a necklace with a pendant crafted from amber, which is believed to ward off negative energy. [22] There are also folk tales about the evil eye, such as âan archaic Polish folk tale that tells of a man whose gaze was such a potent carrier of the curse that he resorted to cutting out his own eyes rather than continuing to spread misfortune to his loved onesâ [1]
Russia: In Russian the evil eye is called "ĐŽŃŃĐœĐŸĐč глаз" or just "Ńглаз." [23] Some Russians ward off the evil eye by bathing in running water, which carries the negativity away. Fire is also used, with young people jumping over a campfire to remove bad energy. Carrying salt or pinning the fabric of your clothing are also other simple ways to ward off the evil eye. [24]
Mexico: In Mexican culture, the evil eye (el ojo) is thought to be especially prevalent during November around the time of Dia de los Muertos, with children being particularly susceptible. There are various ways a child may get the evil eye such as from a stare of a drunk or angry person, or a person who is "caloroso," or overheated from working out in a hot environment such as under the sun or cooking over a hot stove. [25] Some may use an ojo de venado, or âeye of the deerâ as a protective charm, which is only effective if âworn as an amulet around the neck at all times.â [26] As a quote from one of our staff members, Ezekiel: âI was raised in a very Hispanic area so we all wore evil eye bracelets most of the time woven from the flea market⊠In Mexico or some parts of Latin America, it is called El mal de ojo and it is believed that different colored evil eyes do different things.â
Rroma: The concept of the evil eye also exists amongst the Rromani people. For Rroma in Slovakia, the belief in jakhendar is prevalent, often being diagnosed and cured with jagalo paĆi, or âcoal waterâ [27] Rroma in places like Brno are also thought to be particularly susceptible to the evil eye, leading to communities to find members to help protect themselves. According to scholar Eva FigurovĂĄ, âThis role, instead, is appointed to the village shepherd, blacksmith, or other person perceived by the community as gifted with the ability to heal, cure, and ward off the effects of negative forces, whether intentionally or not. Nowadays, among the Roma in Brno, the chanting of the zoÄi is a common ritual that does not require the presence of a specialist.â [28]
India: In many parts of India, people use a nazar battu to ward off the evil eye, or the buri nazar. [29] Other methods of warding off the evil eye include hanging a drishti bommai [30], mothers spitting on their children [31], or marking them with a black mark on the cheek. [32]
Ethiopia: In Ethiopian culture, the evil eye is known as the "buda." [33] It is thought to be wielded by certain people (i.e. metalworkers) and warded off by amulets created by a debtera, or unordained priest. [34]
Conclusion
This blog post only begins to touch the surface when it comes to the evil eye. The history across time and space is so expensive one can truly dedicate their entire lives to studying and still not know everything there is to know. We sincerely hope that we have provided some perspective and gave some jumping off points for further exploration.

The Twst + Sofia the first theory
Hello, I'm Vanitas and with the new release of the lost in storybook events, I was reminded of something. and then I dug too deep into it so here we go. (spolier ahead)
If you have watched Sofia the First, the first thing you probably remember is the Amulet. In Sofia the First, the main character is given a magical Amulet that does many things like summoning other princesses
( if you never seen it here it is)
The first thing I thought when thinking of this theory was Silver's necklace, in book 7 silver is given a magical necklace that was his birth parents. I first noticed how they were both given to them by their nonbiological dads. And then, I realize others things about it too.
The first thing I noticed was that in the special, The Curse of Princess Ivy, we learned two things. The first is that princesses can be trapped in the Amulet and that only one specific dragon can break the amulet. My first thought was the draconias since they are the only dragon-like creatures we actually see. It could also be the east dragons or whatever they called in twst but this theory focuses mainly on book 7. Also, I'm pretty sure Knight of Dawn appeared through the necklace so he could possibly be trapped in the necklace like Princess Ivy or Elena was.
Another connection is the lost in the storybook events, Twst has two events where characters are stuck in a storybook and don't leave until they have finished the story in a sense. If you watched Sofia the first, then you might see a very similar thing in it. In Sofia the first, Sofia became a storyteller (I think that is what they called her) That job includes helping storybook characters finish their stories the same way the princesses did for her.
Now, I couldn't directly connect the secret library to anything. However, the books do remind me of those events. I swear we saw those books but I just can't find the pictures anywhere, if you have them then that'll be a huge help.
So, this isn't really a theory. It's more of weird connections I found which could mean something, I just don't know what. If you have any opinions or theories that relate to this, please show them! i love to hear your thoughts

Trellis headcannon
Iâve had this head cannon floating around in my brain for awhile now. In book 7 thereâs a shot where Trellisâs forearms look like they kinda burned. (Panel is on page 153 in book 7 if you want to look at it :3) Then in book 8 when he gets his new outfit, he has bandages on his arms. So I like to head cannon that during his scuffle with Emily in book 7 he got burned, which is why he has to wear those bandages in book 8. Taking them off to heal and look at them is quite painful for him, physically and emotionally.
Hello everybody! This is just going to be a little yap session and it has nothing to do with the head cannon, so if you donât feel like reading you arenât missing anything. Itâs been awhile since Iâve posted anything because I havenât had much time and have been burnt out. But I really miss posting and making things so I hope I can post more often :3. I know most of the things I have posted up until this point have been jokes, but I am an artist, too, and have a lot of more serious art and head cannons for amulet that I want to post about. I will also be making more shitposts too though, so donât worry lol.
I am changing my name from maxamuletdidnothingwrong to ghost-in-the-machin3. I still love amulet and plan on posting a lot about it but I want to change my name because I may use this account to post about other things I like in the future. If you read this far, thanks for reading :3

The âLittle Things theyâ do(Diasomnia)
You thought itâll be fine.stay a night or two in Diasomnia hoping nothing much will happen. Maybe you did expect a chase or some creepy interaction. To be honest this is more than you bargained for
âGuys Iâm leavingâ I shouted as I began to walk to the front door. When I tried the handles BOOM lightning struck in front of the building as it began to storm on an odd sunny evening âoh a shame. To think we had such clear skysâ lilia spoke from the stairwell âWell we canât have you soaked out there so how about you stay for a bit hmm⊠just until the rain clearsâ Lilia suggested. Seeing as i almost got struck by lightning, i agree which made the ghost grin âSplendid. Gather everyone, weâre all going to have one last brunch before you leave, okâ lilia ordered so i did. Silver and Sebek were in the indoor training room and Malleus was in the library.Brunch was ready after everyone had gathered in the dining room. The food was some sandwiches which look surprisingly edible, this is coming from lilia after all. âYouâve been here for some time even I wasn't expecting youâll last so longâ Lilia spoke âtell me do you enjoy our companyâ He ask âwellâŠWhen you guys are not threatening my life i say you guys are ok in my bookâ I replied honestly. âOh we couldn't just kill you prematurely. Not with that necklace onâ lilia spoke as he points to the gem on my neck âI see no need for it. I would say just throw it awayâ sebek huffed âWell I donât want an attachment so Iâm keeping it onâ i replied.thunder grew louder âbut why not? Surely you think being a ghost is that badâ lilia asked âthink about it. We can all be together like the old daysâ he smiled trying to cut through the tension âbut I like being alive and i donât want to be here forever foreverâ i replied âI see⊠well it canât be helped but i still would say better now than everâ Lilia replied as he sneaked a glance at malleusâŠI felt something sharp prickling my ankles, that light scratch seems to cause me to be severely drowsy. I tried to form my words yet nothing came out. My vision blurred and the last thing I saw was a sinister smile.
------------------Lilia------------------------ âWho knew, this task is more devious then i anticipatedâ Lilia spoke. My eyes fluttered open only to feel constricted âoh your awakeâ Lilia spoke âI would be more surprise you wake up from malleusâs sleeping spell but then againâŠ.I did get a little excited and mightâve kissed your lipsâ Lilia laughed âdonât worry i did nothing elseâŠwell yetâ he adds as he hops on the bed âI do hope you find these chains comfortable, i would say these are far better then the leather ones i foundâ Lilia smiles as he presents the heavy locket âlet me go. This isn't funnyâ I spoke, giving him a glare which only made him laugh âAh~thereâs the fire I remember. Now why would I let you go only for you to escape. Your pretty words wonât cloud my judgment this timeâ Lilia said as he wagged his finger at me âthere should be some spell which can remove that amulet. Once that happens itâll only take 7 days to establish the attachment then the true ritual can beginâ he beams as he gently cups my face. His love sick eyes he cast down at me oh so lovingly. Those eyes filled with insanity. â1,000 yearsâŠ1,000 years Iâve waited and longed for your return. I waited and watched you parish. Over and over again. But now we can forget that and begin a new life here together, all of usâ Lilia smiled as he caressed my cheek with his thumb. âI know this may hurt our trust but it is all in good faith my dearâ he spoke as he kissed my forehead. He removes himself from my face and slides off the bed âIâll be back to bring you dinner. You must be hungry, you were sleeping for such a long timeâ Lilia spoke before leaving the room. I need to get out. When I moved I felt an uncomfortable feeling in my skin. In my ankle there was a large thorn which was lightly embedded in my skin. This thorn mustâve stuck on me when I fainted. I twisted my body and plucked the thorn from me. I quietly slid off the bed with the thorn in hand and began picking the lock. Once I heard that click, the chains I had on quickly slid off so I stood up away from the chain and quickly left the room.
Lilia sighs in bitter disappointment as he glances at the now empty room âwhy must you reject our devotionâ he mumbled âis there something wrong fatherâ silver spoke holding the food behind him âthey have escapedâ lilia said as he opened the door much to silverâs shock âIâll search immediatelyâ Silver spoke hastily as he practically shoves the the trey into liliaâs arms then running off. Despite the situation Lilia canât help but smile. He calmly placed down the trey on the stand, then he reached from underneath the bed to reveal a large casing.inside was a large green, gemlike cleaver covered in silver thorns âit seems I have to force my hand.â he mumbles as he takes the clever out. He exits the room and begins his search âYou will submit dear⊠One way or anotherâ
------------Sebek----------------------------------- âYOUR HIGHNESS WHERE HAVE YOU GONE TOOâ sebek shouts as i creeped around. âWhere are they?â he mumbles as he paces back and forth. âYOUR HIGHNESS RETURN AT ONCE. IF SO OUR LORD WOULD FORGIVE THIS TRANCEGRESSIONâ he shouts as he stomps off. Once I heard the close was clear I exited the room and sneaked past. The stairs are just around the corner. When i was about to reach the stairs, i was stopped by a sword âThere you areâ sebek spoke as i stepped back âI wish not to lay harm to you but I will if it means the ritual will be completeâ Sebek spoke âwhy, why do you care so muchâ I asked sounding irritated âIâve waited for decades for this moment. Waited for you to be saved. Canât you tell youâre being brainwashed â sebek spoke sternly ânow you Will go back to your chambers until our master can free you from those shackles the crow put on youâ sebek commanded âyou lost me at returning. Iâm leavingâ i spoke as I continued to step away, then I sprinted away âYOU HIGHNESS COME BACKâ Sebek shouted as he followed. I managed to loop around and lose sebek by hiding in rooms again. I finally reached the stairs. I ran to the front door only to realize itâs locked, i tried unlocking it but it was stuck. My necklace started vibrating, alerting me of someone coming near, so i ran to the back door.
--------Silver---------------------------------- The back was open allowing me to escape through the forest. It was dark out,not even the moon shines. My lungs burn and my legs feel tender causing me to collapse as the adrenaline disappears. Then I heard a twig snap. I whipped my head around to see silver âlook I donât want to hear it. Let me leave in peace then perhaps i could forgive yallâ I bargainedâi canât do thatâ silver spoke sadly âthen why are you hereâ I asked âto help youâ he replied as he walked closer âwell youâre not helping at allâ I huffed âI am. We all are. Weâre going to set you free. Make things rightâ silver explains as he creeps closer âplease youâre not in your right mind but malleus can help you if you can just trust usâ Silver pleads âno no no no. You. All of you are trying to end my life and make me live here for eternityâ I replied as i got up âYou donât understand.â Silver said âthen what am i not gettingâ I asked âWe want to get your memories back, We want to end your suffering. I want to make amends, but you have to trust us. This is the only wayâ Silver explains but i shook my head âYou canât leave. Not again, I wonât let youâ Silver spoke more sternly. He rushed forward causing me to fall back but before he could reach me, a barrier was made which bounced him back. Whatever this was, it weakened him, i could tell as he was a bit faded. While Silver was stunned I ran off and made my way to the front.
----------------Malleus--------------------
I ran and kept running until I reached a familiar woods. Relief washed over me as I came closer to the main house. Then I tripped. I ignored this and tried to get up only feeling a tug on my leg, vines wrapped around tightly on my ankle and slowly climb up to my calf ây/nâ a familiar voice spoke echoing my name though the dark woods, âMalleus I already left, just let me leaveâ I pleaded as i tried to get the vines off of me. He laughed, more like a low chuckle. He revealed himself from behind a tree âleave? Youâre forbidden to. Our souls are bound for centuries. You can never leave my sideâ Malleus stated as he drew closer âfor far too long, Iâve seen you ripped away from my grasp time and time again. What in your fragile mind do you think Iâll let this opportunity passâ he adds as he grins âyouâll be mine, finally mine. We can be together once more, by my side, ruling this land from the shadowsâ he list as his eyes filled with bliss âthis can only happen if you are free. We can correct his mistakes. This curse will be lifted and we can be together like beforeâ he adds âNo, Iâm not going through with thatâ I stated firmly. His eyes blanked almost perplexed by my words then he laughed. Booming with roaring laughter as he clutched his stomach âdo you really think you have a say in this. Perhaps that raven has rotted your mindâ he teased âyou look exhausted my love, perhaps a nice long slumber should clear your mindâ malleus smiles as more vines sprout from every corner. Each vine wrapped around my body. I felt a prick on my finger causing that drowsy feeling. My body felt weak and limb as the vines disappeared. I was in his arms as he hummed a lullaby, finally putting me to sleep.

Chapter 8: Home At Last
Eddie sighed dramatically as he stared up at the vaulted ceiling of his bedchamber.
Heâd been tossing and turning for hours, unable to quiet his troubled, restless mind.Â
After a lengthy walk around the castle grounds, and a conversation with Dustin that Eddie had so badly wanted to eavesdrop onâŠ
He hadnât, for the record, out of respect, but the temptation hadnât been easy to resist.
âŠSteve had come back to the castle and said he needed to sleep on it. Saying very little else before retiring for the night.
Another practice in restraint, Eddie had sent up food, fresh clothes, and a basin of clean water to Steve and Dustinâs guest-quarters with a few goblinsâthe three Dustin had grown so fond ofârather than take it to them himself like he wanted.Â
It would have been the perfect excuse to catch another glimpse of the other boy, but Eddie didnât want to force his company when Steve had so clearly expressed the desire for time and space.
He was determined to stay on his best behavior, doing everything he could to prove to Steve that he was more than the act heâd been putting on. Heâd even gone out to meet Argyle and Jonathan earlier, where they still waited at the bottom of the castle steps, and introduced himself. He let them know, in no uncertain terms, that he meant them no harm, that Steve, Dustin, and Robin were now his guests, and that they were welcome in the castle too.
The unusual pair, who inexplicably introduced themselves as brothers, took him up on the offer, and were even now sharing the last of the spare rooms in the castle.
Chrissy invited Robin to bunk with her. No surprise with the way Eddie had seen them looking at each other, after the two had already spent hours with their heads bent together poring over books and scrolls, giggling behind their hands whenever he walked by.
Eddie was happy for them, even if it meant that he was now spread out in the middle of his giant bed alone, with nothing and no one to distract himself from his own thoughts, or help him forget that Steve was right down the hall.Â
So close, and yet completely out of reach.Â
It wasnât an outright rejection, or so he kept telling himself, trying desperately to keep hope alive in his heart. Steve was still there, after all. That had to mean something, right? But still, it was hard not to fall into the pit of despair.Â
Because really, why on earth would Steve want anything to do with him now?
No matter how well they seemed to fit together.Â
If it was just a physical thing, Eddie could have probably let it go, but he didnât only appreciate Steveâs body, he was attracted to his fucking soul.Â
Who he was at his very core.
And who Steve was, was kind and caring, loyal to a fault, but also quick-witted and catty, in the best way. He was, too, a bit conceited and cocksure, but he had the cunning to pull it off.
Most of the time.Â
He loved with his entire being.
He was as brave and smart as Dustin had claimed, and absolutely everything Eddie could have hoped to find in aâÂ
Boyfriend? Lover? Partner?Â
No word properly encapsulated all of what Eddie wanted from Steve now. None of them quite hit the mark of describing just how deep heâd fallen.
Giving up on the idea of sleep, Eddie got out of bed, wrapping himself up in a long black silk robe.Â
Heâd worn nothing to bed, never did unless Chrissy slept over, save for the necklace that made this life of his possibleâthe unusual pendant given to him by the last goblin king, a powerful amulet which allowed him to wield the powers of his position, now split into two halves of that formerly single whole.
He wondered if maybe he should have waited until Steve gave his final answer to make them, but heâd wanted Steve to know he was serious, that he meant it.
Forever.
Those twin rings resting against his chest bore much more than a physical weight. They were a tangible promise of either pain and heartache, or, the greatest happiness heâd ever know.
The castle was quiet when Eddie slipped through his door, padding up and down the long hallways on bare feet. Without meaning to, he found himself heading for the atrium, drawn to the place where heâd finally laid himself bare before Steve.
It was somewhere peaceful to sit and think, or to maybe try to stop thinking at all, but it was also a place he could go to feel close to Steve without actually bothering him.
Or maybe not?Â
The space was full of shadows as Eddie entered, dimly lit with the soft flickering light of a few sconces dotted along the curved walls, and the only sound to be heard was the tranquil trickling of water into the central pond.
Eddie breathed deep, taking in the scent of night air mixed with the heady perfume of all the exotic flowers in bloom.
He was halfway around the room when he spotted someone sitting on one of the benches. The familiar figureâs head was tilted up to the sky above, admiring the glittering expanse of stars.
His back was to Eddie, but somehow he knew Eddie was there all the same.Â
âCouldnât sleep either?â Steve said without turning around.Â
Eddie wasnât sure if he should intrude or not, but Steve hadnât told him to go, so hesitantly he approached, rounding the front of the bench just as Steveâs eyes fell to meet his.Â
Steve wore a long white linen nightshirt that fell to barely mid-thigh, and Eddie tried hard not to think about whether he was wearing anything under it or not as he raised his eyebrows asking silent permission.Â
Only after Steve nodded did Eddie sit down, careful to leave a polite amount of space between them.Â
They sat together for a long while in the quiet dark, watching the night go by through the wide, open ceiling. It was impossible for Eddie to look up at the view and not think of their steamy rendezvous on the terrace, and wonder if Steve was remembering too.
It was again Steve who eventually spoke first, blowing out a long shaking breath before breaking the increasingly heavy silence between them. âYouâd think after such a long and difficult day sleep would come easy.â
âIâm sorry,â Eddie whispered, and as the words passed his lips his heart fell, realizing he never really did apologize properly for what heâd done.Â
âIâm so sorry, Steve. I tried to tell myself that I was just doing my job, what I was put here to do, and that was true to an extent butââ Eddie leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he let his head fall into his hands, cheeks growing wet.Â
âI wasââ he sniffled, rubbing roughly at his face before looking back up to meet Steve's eyes again, ââso angry, for such a long time. I resented my dad for abandoning me, for not trying harder, or at all, and I let that color my perception. I took it out on you, and you didnât deserve that.â
Steve was quiet for a long beat, until slowly, ever so slowly, he raised a hand, reaching out to brush away a stray tear from Eddie's cheek.
Eddieâs breath hitched.
âYou did what you thought you had to do. If anyone can understand that, itâs me.âÂ
âButââ Eddie started to argue but Steveâs fingers drifted down his face, letting the same thumb that had dried his tears now rest against his lips, gently silencing him.
âHey,â Steve whispered, his steady gaze piercing, demanding Eddieâs full attention with that single soft word. âI donât regret it. Any of it. I'd go through it all again. Itâs like you said, without all this I never would have come here. I wouldn't know that I was capable of so much more than what my parents wanted for me. I wouldnât have met Robin, or Argyle, or Jonathan.Â
âOr youââ
Steve let him go, and before Eddie could mourn the loss of his touch, Steve was moving closer, the lines of their legs pressing together as he gathered up both of Eddieâs hands in his own, lacing their fingers. âAnd I'm sorry about your father. Iâm sorry if he ever made you feel for even one second that you werenât worth fighting for. Because you are, Eddie. Youâre worth everything.â
Their faces were suddenly so close, Eddie hadnât realized he was leaning in until their noses nearly brushed.Â
âSteve?â
Eddie didnât even know what he was asking but Steve gave the barest of nods, and in the space of a blink they were kissing. He wasnât sure who had actually closed the distance between them, but it didnât matter. The second Steveâs lips touched his, Eddie was as lost in it as he had been that very first time. The rest of the world simply fell away, narrowed down to warm hands gripping tight, and desperate tongues sliding together.
He was left gasping, drowning in desire as Steve ducked to kiss down his neck, nipping and sucking at the sensitive skin. Then Steveâs hands were gone, leaving Eddie untethered for a terrifying moment, until they wrapped around his waist instead, lifting him up and over until he straddled Steveâs lap.
Eddieâs robe fell open with the movement. All that was left between them was the very thin cottony fabric of Steveâs nightshirt, leaving no more question as to whether Steve had anything on underneath.
He⊠did not, and that knowledge, along with the air hitting his suddenly bare front, set Eddieâs blood on fire.
Steve continued his assault on Eddieâs neck, grinding his hips up as his touch began to wander south, caressing Eddieâs ass and thighs.
âW-waitââ Eddie forced out, pulling back, and pulling his robe back around himself as best he could.
Steveâs brows pinched together in concern. âWhatâs wrong?âÂ
âI donât think I can do this if itâs only for tonight.â Eddie smiled down at Steve sadly, leaning in to press a chaste kiss to his forehead. As much as he wanted this, it would make it all the more painful ifâand letâs face it, whenâSteve decided to leave.
âIâm not rushing you to make a decision. I told you to take all the time you need and I meant it, but I donât want to know the taste of your body if I'm going to have to say goodbye to you tomorrow.â He tried to slide off of Steveâs lap but found himself pinned in place by the other boyâs unwavering grip.Â
âYou wonât have to,â Steve said, his voice a little strained, but steady.
âDo you mean..?â
âYes, I'm saying yes.â
Eddieâs heart leapt, hope threatening to bloom in full, but still he cradled Steveâs face, tilting it up to look for any sign of doubt there. âAre you sure?â
âIâve been sure since almost the moment you asked.â
âOh, I see,â Eddieâs face spread into a wide, wild grin as he wound his arms around Steveâs shoulders. âYouâve just been enjoying knowing I was going crazy then?â
âMaybe,â Steve smirked, pecking him on the tip of his nose.Â
âBrat.â
They kissed again, and as much as Eddie tried to hold back it wasnât long before he found himself filling with heat, the same heat he saw reflected back at him through Steveâs half-lidded eyes. At this rate Steve wouldnât even get to see the inside of Eddieâs bedroom, their shared bedroom now, he supposed, before finding their pleasure together here, out in the open in the center of the castle.Â
Eddie couldnât wait to show Steve all that they shared now, from his favorite parts of the Labyrinth, to the fun they could have with the powers they both possessed.Â
âWaitââ Eddie broke the kiss and wrenched himself back, panting, pressing a hand to Steveâs chest when he tried to chase after him.
Steve groaned, letting his head fall with a light thunk to the back of the bench. âYouâre killing me here.â
Taking far too much pleasure in torturing them both, Eddie cackled, leaning back to untie the cord around his neck. He pulled, letting the two rings slide off the end to land in his palm.
âOh,â Steve breathed, sitting up a little straighter.
Eddie picked up the gold ring with his other hand, raising his eyebrows in another silent bid for permission.
With wide eyes Steve bit at his swollen bottom lip, offering up his hand.Â
Eddie slipped the ring into place.
It was a perfect fit.
Without hesitation Steve plucked the remaining silver ring from his palm, and in an infuriatingly good impression of Eddieâs own mannerisms, raised an eyebrow.
And oh, was Eddie going to enjoy taking him apart later.Â
He flipped his hand over, offering it in the same fashion Steve had, and felt everythingâhis past, present, and futureâclick into place as Steve slid the silver ring home.Â
Home.
The castle had never felt like a place he was meant to be, but now, with Steveâs solid form beneath him, holding him, and the people they both cared about most sleeping peacefully upstairsâ
Yeah, home sounded about right.
Miraculously, they did manage to make it to Eddieâsâtheirâbed before their mutual displays of affection went too far.
And when the morning came, as though it had been some sort of premonition and not a wild fantasy, it was exactly as Eddie pictured.
Far too distracted with learning the curves and planes of his loveâs body, Eddie hadnât thought to close the drapes. Heâd been half asleep, drifting in and out while basking in the afterglow of round two, but at the first sign of sunrise he forced his eyes open to watch the soft golden rays of early sun, shining in through the wide windows, dance over Steveâs sleeping form half-hidden beneath the bed sheets.
Which was a crime, frankly.Â
After seeing, touching, and tasting every square inch of him last night Eddie longed to make a royal decree that Steve should be nude at all times.
Though he suspected as an equal ruler Steve would probably veto that idea.
Which was probably for the best, uncomfortable working conditions for the goblins and all thatâand the fact that their friends probably wouldn't appreciate it much.
As Eddie watched Steve began to stir, rolling over so the light now fell on his bare face and chest. A truly magical sight even without the rings they wore.
Hazel eyes blinked open slowly, a syrupy sweet smile spreading over Steveâs face as he gazed up at Eddie, reaching for him, tucking a clump of frizzy curls behind his ear.
Eddie leaned into the touch as Steve lingered to caress his cheek, nuzzling his palm before turning his head to press a kiss in the middle of it.
âEverything alright, baby?â Steve asked, his voice sounding more than a little wrecked and not only from sleep.
Eddie shivered at the memory, and it might have had him considering a round three if he didnât know how tired they both still were. Instead he settled himself back down, nestling his head in the crook of Steveâs neck, and resting his hand in the middle of his chest, fingers raking through the soft swath of hair.
âYeah, sweetheart. Everything is perfect.â
It turned out the rules Eddie had spent so much time and energy worrying over, afraid that if he broke them it might somehow break their realm all together, were more like loose guidelines.
With Robinâs help, Chrissy was finally able to put more of the pieces together, and it seemed that Eddie, and now Steve and Eddie as one, could do basically whatever they wanted, and had the power to back it up.Â
âWithin reason, of course,â Chrissy had warned.
Most importantly, They could take Dustin home, secure in the knowledge that they could bring him back to the Labyrinth to visit whenever he wanted.Â
Steve had agreed to give the boy one more dayâto play with his friends, get to know Robin, Argyle, and Jonathan, and to say a proper goodbye to them all before returning to the real world. Any longer and it would be even more of a mess to clean up with their parents, Steve was sure.
âHow will we keep in touch with each other?â Dustin asked Steve, as they, along with Eddie, Chrissy and Robin gathered in the atrium, the place everyone agreed would be the best point in the castle for traveling between worlds. âI guess itâs too much to hope cell phones will work between realms so we can text and facetime?â
Eddie hadnât really thought about that. How would they communicate with Steveâs little brother to make plans for the future? Popping in on him randomly could prove tricky.
Steve turned to him with a frown and concerned eyes, and that simply wouldnât do.
âDonât worry, um, I-Iâve got just the thing,â Eddie stepped around Steve, rubbing a comforting hand across his lower back before crouching down in front of Dustin, where the younger boy sat on one of the thick velvet floor cushions.
âHere,â he said, holding out his hand, empty one second, and the next cradling one of his oft-used crystal balls.
Looking both awed and dubious, Dustin carefully took it from Eddieâs hand. âB-but I donât have any magic.â
Right.Â
Okay, no problem.Â
Thereâd been no spell to follow when Eddie created his and Steveâs rings, but heâd wanted it enough to make it happen. This was no different. He could do this.Â
Leaving the crystal in Dustinâs grip, Eddie covered the boyâs hands with his own, and let his eyes fall shut. He thought of love and family, and the desire to stay connected no matter the time, distance, or circumstances. The desire to see and hear those most dear. He remembered the determination Steve had shown in his effort to do whatever he had to to get Dustin back, had that feeling fill him and the ball, let it shape the magic.Â
âCan you feel it?â Eddie whispered, for Dustinâs ears only.
âYes,â the boy breathed, his words coming just as softly. âIt feels like Steve. How I feel when I think about him.â
âGood,â Eddie said, opening his eyes. He released his hold on Dustin and stood, reaching down to ruffle the boyâs hair. âYou tap into that and look into the ball whenever you want to see or hear him, and if you hold it up to your lips and talk heâll be able to hear you too.â
âWhat about Steve? What if he needs me and I donât know it?â
âWe have other crystals. I gave you Present, but thereâs still Past and Future up my sleeve. Iâm sure I could tweak them somehow.â
âThereâs also this,â Chrissy said, pulling a large leather-bound book out from behind her back. She offered it to Steve. âI found it the first time Eddie left me alone in the library.âÂ
âWhat is it?â Steve asked, carefully cracking it open and thumbing through what, at first, looked to be empty pages.
âAs far as I can tell, itâll show you just about anything. Movies, television shows, real events. All in writing, obviously, so I hope youâre a reader, including writing a story in real time of whatâs happening Ă la The Neverending Story⊠kinda?â
Eddie sputtered. âIâve been asking you what your secret was for years, and Steve waltzes in here and you tell him in a matter of days?!â
Chrissy stuck her tongue out at him and shrugged. âSucks to suck.â
Steve was still flipping through pages, eyes flying over the words as they appeared while he smiled to himself. He flipped a few more as Eddie watched, until his face abruptly fell into a deep frown.
âShit, Dusty,â he said, snapping the book shut. âThe police were at our house. Mom and Dad filed missing persons reports. They think we were kidnapped or-or murdered, or something. We need to get you back there, now.â
Steve handed the oversized tome back to Chrissy with a nod of thanks, and turned to face Eddie. âHow do we do this?â
âTogether,â Eddie replied simply, reaching out with his ringed hand to take hold of Steveâs. âDustin, take our other hands, so weâre all connected.â
The younger boy rose, uncharacteristically quiet as he slipped the crystal ball into his pocket and joined them.Â
âBe careful,â Chrissy said, blowing a kiss in their direction.Â
âYou better bring him back in one piece, Munson,â Robin added, coming up behind Chrissy to wrap arms around her waist.Â
Eddie knew he was going to regret telling her his full name.Â
With Eddie steering, and honestly not having much more practice with this travel magic than anyone else, they landed together in the same spot Eddie had entered the first timeâDustinâs window.Â
Which of course was not big enough to hold all of them. The three crashed to the floor, off balance, banging into Dustinâs desk, and loudly knocking over several empty cans of Mountain Dew in the process.
In seconds footfalls began pounding up the steps of the house, headed their way.
Eddie lurched to his feet, helping Dustin up before grabbing for Steveâs hand, a question poised on his lips, but Steve shook his head before he could even ask.Â
The plan had been to just leave Dustin in his room and go, so Steve wouldnât have to deal with his mom and stepdad. Dustin was prepared with a whole story about how his older brother had run away, and how he had gone off to find him and got lost, but it seemed Steve had other plans now.Â
âStay here,â Steve said, pressing a kiss to the top of Dustinâs head, âLove you, bud. Weâll see each other again soon,â before crossing the room in a flash, flinging the bedroom door open and marching out into the hall with Eddie following close behind.
âSteven?!â A woman, Steveâs mother, gasped, slowly making her way towards them from the other end of the hall, a man who could only be the infamous stepfather Gary lumbering behind her. âWhat on earthâwhere have you been? Is DustinââÂ
âIn his room, safe and sound,â Steve answered calmly.
âWas this your doing?â Gary asked, with the sort of attitude Eddie desperately wished to wipe off his face the old fashioned way.
âYes,â Steve admitted. âIt was an accident, but Iâm sorry we were gone so long. Don't blame Dustin, it was all my fault.âÂ
âWhere have you been?â Steveâs mother asked.Â
She, at least, looked mildly concerned and relieved to see her son.
âI-Iâve beenââ Steve took a deep breath, and reached back blindly for Eddieâs hand. He gave it, coming to stand next to his sweetheart. âIâve been miserable. Iâve spent my whole life lying to myself, listening to the two of you and your bullshit. I went along with all of it because it was easier than sticking up for myself, and figuring out what I really wanted. But I know now. I've learned more about who I am, and who I want to be in the last forty eight hours than I was ever able to under your roof. I found where I belong.â He glanced over at Eddie, smiling and pulling him into his side.
Eddie wrapped his arm around Steveâs waist possessively, staring the dumbstruck couple down with unwavering eye contact.
âIâm leaving,â Steve went on. âMoving out.â
âWith him?â Steveâs mother squeaked.
Steveâs jaw tightened as he replied. âHis name is Eddie.â
âSteven, you cannot be serious about running off with this⊠this⊠freak!â
Steve bristled at his side but Eddie threw his head back and laughed. Some things never changed, no matter how many years had passed. He wasnât even wearing one of his elaborate costumes, heâd put on his own old clothes again in an effort to blend in, on the off chance they were seen.Â
âOh Gary, if youâre gonna flirt with me at least wait until your stepson is out of earshot,â Eddie purred, raising his eyebrows. âNot to mention your wife.â
Steve snorted.
Gary, aside from being so angry he was rapidly turning purple, did his best to ignore him, addressing Steve only. âYour mother and I won't allow you to throw your future away like this!â
Which only made Eddie want to poke at him more. âWith all disrespect, Steve is an adult. Heâs eighteen and legally you have no power over him.â
Steveâs parents had no power over him in any sense of the word, actually, but Eddie figured that knowledge was best kept between himself, Steve, and Dustin.
âFine,â Gary snapped, âbut Steven, if you walk out that door now donât think weâll let you come crawling back when this miscreant kicks you to the curb. I will not have you waltzing back into our lives to corrupt Dustin.â
Steve seethed, his fists clenching and unclenching at his sides as the lights above their heads began to flicker.Â
Eddie rubbed his cheek along Steveâs shoulder, urging him without words to stay calm.Â
Thankfully, while they glanced up at the fixtures with furrowed brows, Steveâs so-called parents didnât seem to understand what was happening right in front of them.Â
Typical.
Steve took a deep calming breath before he spoke, the lights returning instantly to normal.Â
âIâwe, will see Dustin as often as we like, and you will not try to control him the way you did me. Heâs smarter than all of us. He doesn't need you to tell him who to be. You let him live his own life or so help me you will not like the consequences. And Iâll know, trust me on that.â
Gary grit his teeth, but turned and stormed off without another word, smart enough to know when the battle was lost.Â
Steveâs mother just stood there, watching silently as Steve pulled on Eddieâs arm, leading him to his bedroom.Â
Steve had started to pile things Eddie assumed he wanted to keep on the bed, when his mothers voice came from the doorway. Â
âWhere youâre going, youâll be happy there?â
Steveâs shoulders stiffened for a moment but he turned to look at her, face pinched in confusion. âYeah.â
She nodded, wringing her hands in front of her looking down and then away as she spoke again. âMake sure you pack your coat. You know you get cold so easily.â
Every part of Eddie itched to protect him, to step in and tell this woman that Steve wouldnât need a fucking coat where they were going, that Eddie would give him whatever he neededâwhatever he wanted. Hell, that Steve could take care of his own fucking self!Â
Until he saw the way Steve was looking back at her, the way his face had softened, a bit of the tension in his shoulders easing as he did.Â
And Eddie thought, maybe it wasnât about the coat at all.Â
âI will. Thanks, mom.â
She looked up, eyes swimming and moved for a second as though she would go to him, but stopped herself, giving her eldest son a tight-lipped smile before turning to go, heading for Dustinâs room.
âYou okay?â Eddie asked.
Steve gave a small nod, clearing his throat. âHow should I..?â He asked, gesturing at the small mound of possessions heâd collected, mainly clothes but also a few books and photos, and a shoebox full of small items rattling around inside.Â
Eddie took Steveâs ringed hand, connecting them just as he had before, knowing now how much stronger they were together, and raised his free hand high in the air. With a simple snap of his fingers everything on the bed vanished.Â
Steve sucked in a breath. âIâm never gonna get used to shit like that.â
Eddie laughed, squeezing his hand. âHome?âÂ
Steve shuffled his feet, looking suddenly almost more nervous than he had been in facing his parents. âActually, I thought maybe we could take one more stop, if youâre up for it?â He stepped away, digging through the drawer of a small desk until he pulled out a scrap of paper, hastily scratching something out on it before handing it over.
It was an address.Â
Eddieâs head snapped up. âW-what⊠How did youââ He knew that address. Had it memorized since he was five years old, just in case.
âWhen I was reading Chrissy's book. I thought about him, what you told me about him, I mean, and It appeared.â
Eddie swallowed hard. âHeâs still there? H-heâs alive?â
Steve took the paper from his hand, tucking it into his pocket before wrapping him up in his arms, pressing their cheeks together. âHeâs in his 80âs but still kicking. What do you think?â
âYeah,â Eddie let himself melt into Steveâs comforting hold. âLetâs go see Uncle Wayne.â
They landed, hand-in-hand on the crumbling front porch of a dilapidated old trailer.
The place hadnât been much to look at in Eddieâs youth either, but now it was quite literally falling apart. The whole park seemed to have fallen into disrepair, mostly abandoned save for Eddieâs beloved uncleâs home.
Afraid to lose his nerve Eddie knocked on the door the moment he had his feet securely under him, heart pounding as he listened to the sound of someone moving around on the other side.Â
The ancient door creaked open, revealing a wizened old man in a moth-bitten flannel. He was completely bald now, but still sported a short beard, white these days rather than the salt and pepper of Eddieâs memory, but there was no mistaking those kind, if piercing, eyes.
âEddie?â Wayne gasped, looking at him as though he was seeing a ghost.
Somehow Eddie hadnât thought through the fact that he hadnât aged a day since he last saw the man in front of him, and that was going to require some sort of explanation, assuming the shock of it didnât give him a heart attack first.
âLong time no see, Uncle Wayne.â
âNo kidding,â the gruff man huffed, making a visible effort not to let his mouth hang open. Wayne glanced from Steve to Eddie and back again before shaking his head, mumbling something to himself as he shrugged and stepped back into the house. âYou boys better come on in then.â
Eddie didnât move at first, he felt frozen and so unsure, but then Steve was pressing a hand into his lower back and he remembered he wasnât alone. They followed Wayne inside and it took everything in Eddie not to break down and cry. The place was just as run-down inside as out.Â
âI canât believe you still live here,â he said, looking around at the peeling wallpaper, barely hanging-on paneling, and the thick layers of dust on almost every surface.
âRefused to move,â Wayne explained, leaning heavily on the old formica countertop in the kitchen, his eyes tracking Eddieâs every movement. âEven after everybody else left. Iâyour dad told me you ran off, and to be honest I was happy you did. But I knew you might need family one day, and I was afraid if I left you wouldnât be able to find me. I never gave up hope.â
The tears Eddie had been fighting off won out, running in thin lines down his face.
Wayne took a wobbly step towards him, voice breaking as he spoke again. âI missed you, Eddie.âÂ
Eddie let out a sob, surging forward to wrap him up in a hug. Wayne was both shorter and thinner than he remembered, but there was still strength in his arms when he gripped him back.
âI missed you too, old man. Every day I missed you.â
They held each other for a long time, until Eddieâs tears slowed and Wayne could stand on his own again.Â
The older man pulled back, eyes all for Steve now, giving him a narrow eyed once over. âNowâEddie, you gonna introduce me to your boy here? And maybe explain to me why you look the same as the last time I saw you even though itâs been nearly forty years?â
âRight,â Eddie mumbled a breathy laugh escaping his throat. âUm, this is Steve.â
"Hrmph,â Wayne hummed, still squinting at Steve. Honestly Eddie wasnât sure if the manâs eyesight was going or if he was trying to appear somehow intimidating. Knowing Wayne, it was probably a bit of both. âSteve, huh. You love my boy?â
âYes, sir,â Steve answered quickly, his hand coming to rest again on Eddieâs lower back.
âSirââ Wayne drew the word out, thinking, then gave a single decisive nod. âI like âim.â
All the breath whooshed out of Steveâs body at once, as though heâd been holding it, worried about his reception. Eddie bumped their shoulders together.
âAs far as the rest goes, Itâs kind of a long story.â
âSorta figured,â Wayne grunted. âNo matter, I got time.â
âWait,â Steve said, his hand gripping tight to Eddieâs side now as he spoke softly in his ear. âHow about we show him instead?âÂ
And If Eddie wasnât already head over heels that would have sealed it for him. He leaned in, pressing a kiss to Steveâs cheek, infusing it with every ounce of love he felt for the other boy in that moment.
âWhat do you say old man, you wanna come and live with me and Steve?â
Wayne didnât answer for long enough that Eddie was afraid he might refuse, but after a long pause his face spread into a familiar smile. âIâd love that. Let me just get my jacket and we can be on our way.â
âDon't you wanna bring anything with you?â Steve asked.
âNah, this junk donât mean nothing. I got my boy back, thatâs all I need. Where are we headed anyway?â
âBack home, to the castle,â Eddie grinned, knowing the reaction that was likely to get.Â
It didnât disappoint.Â
âCastle?!â Wayne shouted, loud as a gunshot.
Eddie and Steve shared a look, giggling as one.Â
âYouâll see.â
Eddie took Steveâs hand and together they held on to Uncle Wayne to make the journey home, so much easier now that the final weight Eddie had been carrying around for so long had been lifted. After decades of mourning everything he thought heâd lost, only to find so much more in return, he was more than ready to begin this new chapter of his life, and make up for a little lost time.Â
Stay tuned for a look into Steve and Eddie's happily ever after in a new spicy sequel one-shot coming this winter!

When Your Dad is a Pillar of the Universe 7
"A weird senior you said?" Kim Seung Jong said as he washed the dishes.
Kim Rok Soo nodded as he finished up his homework. "He was a member of the book club and wants to be a writer."
"I still don't see what's weird of it."
Rok Soo was silent as he finished off his homework.
"Mmm, he feels.... older than he should be?"
Seung Jong raised an eyebrow as he dried his hand, "Older?"
"Not as old as you though."
The older man sighed, "Why don't you start at the beginning?"
The now 17 years old boy starts his story of meeting a weird senior at his school's library.
"You see, I went to the library to borrow some new novels..."
Kim Rok Soo never really notices it before, but after a few months of staying with Kim Seung Jong, he began to have a sixth sense of sorts. For example, he accidentally stumbled into some abandoned shrine when he was 10 years old. He saw a weird ball of light floating in the main hall and slowly walked backward but the light keeps on following him.
Suddenly, a black cat pounced on the light ball, giving the terrified child a chance to escape.
Ever since, he became sensitive to that sorts of things and found out that his father's main body have many ways to keep an eye on him. Now, this senior in front of him gave him the same feeling as the light balls he kept encountering.
"Do you need something?" The senior asked after being stared at for a couple of minutes.
Kim Rok Soo startled and almost dropped his books, "Ah! No! I just wants to check out these books."
The senior looks skeptical as he retrieved the books, "Really? You were staring at me for 5 minutes, though."
"That's because you seems really engrossed in what you were writing. I don't want to bother you."
The Senior sighed, "Just call me if you want to borrow something. That's technically my job here."
Kim Rok Soo nodded before he sight was attracted to the book the Senior writes in. The Senior immediately snaps the book close.
"What are you writing, Senior?"
"A.... novel, I suppose."
"Really? What kind of novel?"
The Senior just kept staring at him. Flustered, Kim Rok Soo changed the topic.
"Err, senior, do you have club recommendation?"
The senior kept silent as he checks out the books Rok Soo wished to borrow. When he gave it to Rok Soo, he said, "You seems to like reading, why don't you join the book club?"
"The book club?"
"Yes, we gather every wednesay and friday after school to read books, sometimes we discuss the plot of a particular novel, or even exchange the books in our collections," the senior said as he reach for the book club pamphlet.
"Here, this is my contact number if you decide to join," he said as he gave the pamphlet to Rok Soo.
Rok Soo received both his books and the pamphlet. He saw a name above the handwritten string of numbers, Choi Jung Gun. He bid his farewell to this enigmatic senior. As he left, he feels the senior, Choi Jung Gun, continue to stare at him.
----
"Something is different," Choi Jung Gun mumbled.
"He has no curse, but there is mark of other's divinity on him. Can he be used? Those hunters..."
----
"That's what happened," said Kim Rok Soo.
Kim Seung Jong sipped his coffee. His eyes turned dark as his main consciousness descended.
Rok Soo immediately straightened. It's been a decade, and he still felt tense whenever his father's main consciousness appear. He knew his father won't hurt him, but his father's main consciousness just felt a bit detached to reality and it makes Rok Soo nervous.
His father's dark eyes flickered at him before focusing on something far away.
"Rok Soo. Bring the amulet starting tomorrow. That senior of yours seems interesting. And re-install Arrodes' app on your phone," and his father's eyes returned to the usual dark brown.
Kim Rok Soo frowned, "That's it?"
Kim Seung Jong just continue sipping his coffee, "What do you expect? 'He' is the God of Seers. You will never get any straight answer from 'Him'."
----
The Great Being hummed. 'He' looked through a marrionette sparrow 'He' left behind to watch 'His' son. Choi Jung Gun, someone who was supposed to be dead many, many years ago is now alive and healthy. A little too healthy.
The Lord of Mysteries knows of the Choi family. In a sense, they are similar to descendant of Angel family from many cycles ago. Some children might be born with similarity to their ancestor, and thus have similar fate if they chose to pursue their family legacy. But, considering 'He' never let beyonder characteristic to spread, it should be impossible for them to start that accursed fate.
Until 'He' remembers how Kim Rok Soo came to be. "A God from another world? Authority over death?" 'He' mumbled.
"It seems that Kim Rok Soo's original word is quite chaotic. And those trespassers," 'He' sighed.
"I can't do anything to those tresspassers until Rok Soo met them. Why is that kid kept getting involved in strange things? I still needs to prepare for that catasthrope too," surprisingly, 'His' choice to let a Parasite clone raised Kim Rok Soo did wonders to 'His' humanity. It was not as abundant as before he became a God, but it's still enough for him to enjoy the taste of coffee whenever he wanted to synchronized with his clone.
"Should I taught Rok Soo the bestowal ceremony? Not yet, let's do it later. It's not ready yet," behind 'Him', the Gray Fog stirred. Many lights glimmered while the grey fogs were infused in it. Those lights kept shattering into small dust particles.
"Just a few more years," the great being mumbled.

No, she hadnât lost her mind. Because the reasons that made Spike the actual worst also made him the right one for the job.

Devouring Time by Sigyn [20k]
An apocalypse has ravaged the world. Buffy has lost her friends, and her beloved Spike, and wants nothing more than to die, to rest, but immortality denies her that chance. With nothing more than her scythe and a hint of possibility, she seeks out a goddess of time, who offers her the chance to enter a universe of her own past, to choose a champion and save the world. Buffy knows who she would choose. But how can this Spike, paralyzed, filled with rage, and still in love with Drusilla, possibly be a champion for life, for light, and for the slayer he hates? Only time will tell.

Here's the deal: Buffy's got no idea how to beat Glory, or how they're gonna book it across the country in a moldy RV without anyone killing each other, especially now that someone broke one of the bedsâand the thought of going home again kinda makes her wanna cry. The one thing she knows is that Spike would follow her anywhere, even like this.

Time to Heal (1)
I'm writing this mainly for myself to cope with all the post series finale emotions in my system. I've never written Spuffy, I originally come from different fandoms, but in case someone enjoys this, I'll leave it here. Set a few months after the battle at the Sunnydale Hellmouth.
chapter links: (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7)
The moon was bright, not quite full, not yet full enough to worry about, as she walked between the graves, catching a glimpse of a year here, a name there, sometimes she read them, wondered about them, whenever she had a moment. It wasn't like there was much need to patrol, there were few new additions to the cemetery, and the closest Hellmouth was far enough away. It was, however, one of many nights during which she'd thought actual patrolling could give her a sense of duty, something to keep her mind from wandering. During the day, it was easy, doing research, helping newly called Slayers, even with the burden shared, her sacred duty remained. But nights such as this, they'd become frequent than she liked. It had been months since Willow's spell and the activation of other Slayers all over the world, she had taken time and effort to do right by them, to teach those who asked whatever she could, but still, her new way of life, after she had got so used to sacrificing so much of it, she still had not quite managed to settle into a routine.
Dawn had offered to come out with her, but she'd told her sister she wanted to clear her head. Earlier that day, in a coffee shop she'd come to like and visit often, a man had asked her for her number. She'd politely declined. It wasn't like she'd never been asked out, nor that she'd never turned somebody down, but it was the first time since Sunnydale. It brought back the image in her mind she'd managed to escape for a few hours.
Spike. How he stood in her darkened kitchen in her mother's house, his hand on the door knob, ready to accept that then had not been the time. âAfter this is over,-â she'd said, under her breath, unsure of how to continue. He maybe hadn't heard, maybe hadn't understood, hadn't dared to hope in that particular moment. In her own mind, things could not have been more clear. No, then had not been the moment. Things had happened, she needed time. He needed time. But she could see where they were headed, if things evolved slowly, if they continued to find their way back to each other, without her taking advantage, without him pushing, without her using him as a punching bag, without him just wanting her. They'd been headed towards what she never had thought could happen. And then, Angel had taken him from her. He never had intended to wear the amulet, the same way Spike had never hesitated despite the unknown consequences. Her bloody champion. She never would forget the look on his face, the realisation that she recognised him as the champion, when she handed him the amulet confidently. When she'd led him to his death. She'd seen his soul, felt it between their palms, and yet, he'd died not believing that she loved him.
A loud growl and she was knocked from her feet, falling hard onto her back, gasping for the air that was momentarily knocked from her lungs. She blocked her attacker, her eyes staring into a pair of glowing black ones, the demon above her unlike any she had seen before, she remembered vaguely seeing something similar in the book, hairy, though covered in slime, and she tried to free her hand to reach for her dagger, beautiful silver, a present from Giles. She knocked the demon back and it fell against one of the gravestones, though before she could rise to her feet, make her attack, it jumped onto her again, her weapon flying from her hand, her stake rolling to her side, her wrists restricted by the claws of the demon, her neck exposed as it leaned to bite and she could not break free, despite forcing er full strength against the monster above her and behind it, another approached. She tried desperately to trash against the grip, gasping when she heard a shriek and she could move her arms again.
For a moment, she wondered if she'd been scratched, bitten, somehow impacted to hallucinate, as she could have sworn she saw a white head of hair fly by. No, her mind was playing tricks on her. She grabbed her dagger in one hand, the stake in the other, then jumped to her feet and charged at the newly arrived demon, kicking its face and making it tumble, the element of surprise on her side as she trapped it against a tree, without second thought or strategy plunging the dagger into its neck which made it growl loudly in pain and she pulled the weapon out, stepping back before stabbing it again, twice before it fell motionless to the floor.
She spun around, ready take on the other, a blow to her face rendering her off balance and she fell back, a sharp pain against her forehead as she hit the ground, the demon approaching in her blurry vision. Blindly, she searched for the dagger which could not have gone far, but braced herself for impact, attempting to roll away as she pressed her hand against the throbbing feeling on her forehead.
She thought she was about to lose consciousness when the demon screamed, blood bubbling from its mouth and before she fully realised someone actually had fought alongside her, the demon fell forward by her feet and behind him, a blurry figure stepped into view, extending a hand to her.
Between the blood and the dirt, she smelled something else, something familiar. Her mind was toying with her, she was passing out.
He cleared his throat.
She forced her eyes open, saw the defined jaw, the bleach blond hair she'd thought she'd already been able to make out moments before. This was cruel. She stayed awake, yet she saw him right there. God, what would she have given for this to be real? How many times had she dreamt about this? During the night and during the day.
Her heart sank. Sunnydale was buried and yet, it clearly wasn't over. All that loss, all that sacrifice â had it been for nothing?
âI thought we defeated you,â she spat through gritted teeth. âHaven't you had enough?â She winced in pain at her own voice, her head heavy. She wondered if she was bleeding. At least it could not attack her. And she would not be manipulated. âYou don't deserve taking his form.â Tears stang in her eyes, from the pain in her head and from the cruel irony. He'd died for nothing. Here the First was, ridiculing his sacrifice and taunting her in her grief.
âBuffy.â A voice she had not heard for months. It hurt, made it feel like her heart broke all over again. Dawn had said that the pain would ease, but this hurt worse than day two.
âI won't be manipulated. Don't waste your non-existent breath.â She had to get to the other Slayers, she had to tell someone. Things were going to start all over again. She was exhausted. She tried to gather her strength. âLeave me, it's not like you can touch me.â
âBuffy.â He sounded more insistent this time, his hand was still there, close enough for her to take and fingers wiggling slightly.
Her eyes widened. The smell of cologne. The dead demon by her side. With all the strength she had left, she forced her body upward enough to reach for the pale hand, a choked out sob coming from her throat when the cool palm wrapped tangibly around her fingers and pulled her gently but steadily to her feet. âNo.â
He drew his hand away as soon as she stood somewhat balanced, the corner of his mouth curled into a half-smile. âI'm real. It's me, Slayer. I'm not the First. And I'm ready to explain. I know you have no reason to believe I'm not... something else. But please... I'm not. Let me prove it.â
She took a step back, brushing her hair from her face. âAm I bleeding?â
He pressed his lips together. âYou are, pet. Let me take you home.â
âYou're not real,â she mumbled. Maybe she was lying there. She turned around to where she'd been on the ground, half-expecting to see herself in the grass. There was only the body of the demon. âYou died.â
He couldn't help but chuckle. âYou're one to talk.â
The sound made her tremble. Hell, if it wasn't him, it was doing a good enough job for her to enjoy the moment, to pretend. But she had to know better. âHow did you find me? Convenient, you showing up when I was about to become demon dessert.â
âPure luck, love.â He shrugged it off. âTrust me, it took quite some time. Finding you.â
She opened her mouth, but he cut her off, continued speaking.
âBut I'll explain it all, answer any question you have.â He leaned forward, though then stepped back. âI-...â He swallowed. His eyes were tired, but fixated on her face. âI just want to make sure you're alright first.â
Buffy pursed her lips. She wanted to wake up. Her guard was up and she was too cautious to get lost in the mirage. As much as she wished it, she knew it could not be true. What if she pretended for just a little while? How bad could it get?
He sensed her hesitation. âHey.â
She sank to her knees, saw him follow without missing a beat, the leather pooling on the ground around him.
âLook at me.â
She did as he requested. His eyes were so familiar, surely no one could copy them exactly like that, their intensity, their unique depth that had never failed to make her heart skip a beat when she looked directly into them.
âYour last words to me were...â He paused. âYou told me you loved me.â
âI-â
âI'm not done. I just want you to know it's me. So we can get you somewhere safe. Don't want you to be go anywhere alone in this condition.â His eyes remained on hers. âThe night before, I told you I was terrified because of how we spent the night before. And then we did it again that very night. I left and you said that maybe after the battle...â
She hadn't imagined it. He'd heard it. He'd taken it in. He was here. Spike.
He rose to his feet again, the leather duster shuffling. He held out both his hands and she took them without hesitation that time, letting him pull her up.
âYou don't have to trust me. Let me just get you home for now.â
Buffy took a deep breath, knew she should not stare at his face any longer. She could no longer fight it. She deserved this, hallucination or not. âOkay.â
A small smile played around his lips, relief in his eyes as she moved. âLead the way, pet.â

My Fionna and Cake episode 7&8 tangent
Lets start it off with the score. 20/20 it was fantastic. my stupid theory post will happen eventually, and I will ABSOLUTELY TALK ABOUT PETRIGROF
The star - Cake thinking Fionna was upset cause her fling died was silly, Fionna was clearly upset before about the candy people. The fight with the vampires was funny but intense, I love how Cake and Fionna care a lot about eachother. Also why does Simon know what holy water taste like. Pb and "Star" was so cute, and I was so right when I talked about us getting more Bubbline on tiktok (Tiktok account is not linked anywhere btw) The vampire world is super sad though, cause they had really been eating for so long, that a potential thousands of people died. Marshall and Gary really lit up the episode from the sadness once again, Gary's tangents of his candy kingdom are so cute. AND HIS HAMBO THINGY IN HIS CAR. Marten and baby Finn are so cute, I wanna legit cry cause HES MEANT TO BE A GOOD DAD BUT HES SO STUPID IN THE OG UNIVERSE. Also imma say this now, Prismo gets in trouble for breaking the rules once and ignoring a few beeps, BUT Scarab ignores several beeps and his entire job and doesn't get in trouble, that boss better have a good reason. Second date (potentially) and Marshall already introducing his boyfriend to his mom, damn. Marshall's mom matches og Hunson perfectly somehow, duche parent club. And Marshall's little blush of embarrassment from his mom acting all weird infront of Gary. Billy's corpse is messed up, like reall messed up, and the reminder of how tall he is is also crazy. I was also wondering the entire time if Pb was human in this universe until she bit off half her arm basically. The Star's outfit is so good, but I wonder how she turned into a vampire now, maybe she was bit in front of that worlds Simon's body and thats why she screamed at something. Already long section so I'll end it here with, I LOVED THIS ENTIRE EPISODE, Huntress dying was sad though, and Gary Marshall kiss was adorable. Closing thought of this episode, Bubbline but toxic yuri. Jerry - Simon and Betty better get a happy ending or I will legit be so sad, they love each other so much, and Betty just legit became part of a god over her Fiance once celebrity crush. I love how gorgeous everything is in this show, Orbo is also a funny character. I feel like someone could narrow down where things and places they go in this Lich's wish universe it'd seem fun at first then spiral though. Simon does NOT know how to draw though get this man an art class. The tree house being naked though, all its leaves gone. Lich's wish to kill all life, really just unironically killed ALL life, down to plants. Fun little references to old episodes, and including one that revolved around Ice king, hmm. Also I wonder the age gap between Betty and Simon, I like to see it as they're like a year apart but Simon just skipped grades cause hes a smart cookie. Also Simon had slides ready for people to be loud, HE WAS READY. Nerd girls in love. I am also guessing Bmo has been alone for awhile now, at least since season 5ish times since thats when the Lich would have made this wish. All the references in Ice King's junk from the melted ice kingdom. Ninja guide books, kunai, vhs tapes and the camera, the pink diary, his bed has the wishing amulet that Gunter used to break bottles. I was RIGHT
Fionna see's how unhealthy Ice King was, and changes her mind and wants him to not become this sad sad man again. Simon would genuinely be such a sweet and wonderful parent, he loved taking care of the babies in the baby universe, and he sees Fionna get happy when he tells his story with Betty and keeps doing it to keep her happy. Neddy is also guaranteed dead, already obvious but the candy kingdom doesn't have the juices being produced. Bmo has done a lot in his isolation, a lot of stuff is changed or moved, I feel so bad for bmo. But the lines "Help me zip up my bra" and "Ooo, butt stuff" Wow. The Simon and Betty stuff makes me so happy, they're so cute and I love them, they need to have a happy ending or I will be so sad. The lesbians ever, I love these lesbians, let the lesbians be happy. Simon struggling to say he loves her is so CUTE. Poor Bmo, I feel so bad, but he was probably so sad being alone, sad in someway. Petrigrof moment was so cute and adorable please, I want them so happy, they deserve to be happy. Now for the bombshell, Jerry. The Lich's wish monkey paw aspect is that he gets depressed and has nothing to do now that all life is gone. Billy's body decomposing as the Lich parasites it. SO, imma theory my reason for the portal finally opening to GolBetty, either it was because the Lich was used as the battle and influenced it in a way to allow it to finally work, OR Betty's wish to keep Simon safe truly included the crown being worn. Like the crown really did trigger GolBetty like "BITCH, NO" or the third that makes probably the most sense, The Scarab was literally about to kill Simon and go against what Betty wants, meaning she is going to interfere. I saw someone say that GolBetty likely wont remember Simon and this could cause something. BUT I REALLY HOPE THEY DONT DO THAT, I WANT THEM HAPPY SO BADLY
#long post#adventure time#simon petrikov#fionna and cake#atimers#I waited all day for this and now I am already too excited to wait until next thursday#I dont want it over#but I do wanna see my favorite characters happy#please please please please let them be happy

LOOKING FOR CONTENT TO WATCH?
here are some underrated (in my opinion) media's I recommend!
Lackadaisy (Animated PILOT - Webcomic.) Lackadaisy has its own Animated PILOT on YouTube, and a Webcomic you can find on the official lackadaisy website! The series is about a webcomic set in Prohibition-era St. Louis, Missouri. It chronicles the events of a cast of anthropomorphic cats as they struggle to keep the titular speakeasy afloat.
Murder Drones (Animated series) Murder Drones has recently gained popularity, but is still a small project. You find it on youtube. On a post-apocalyptic exoplanet, worker drones struggle to survive by hiding from rogue robots called Murder Drones
Epithet Erased (Animated series - book) you can find the first 7 episode Animated on YouTube! Season 2, however, Is a book. based on the tabletop roleplay series Anime Campaign! With unique powers called epithets, and characters attempting to steal an amulet rumored to have the ability to take a person's epithet.
Lego Monkie Kid (Cartoon) The tale begins when an ordinary boy, Monkie Kid, finds Monkey King's legendary staff, and he becomes the chosen one. You can watch on PRIME VIDEO!
Recreyo (YouTube channel!) Oddly enough, I'm recommending a YouTube channel.. a Comedy podcast with a group of friends with trust issues are thrown into different chaotic scenarios where they have to survive by learning to trust each other.. or not.
I'm running out of ideas or media's so.. uh yeah guys you should watch those silly fnaf rps like Oddities or The Famous Films!!! There's more, but I don't know them all lol
Also the sun and moon show is pretty cool yeah
EDIT ; The amazing digital circus is a new media too! Though, the fandom has grown largely. It's a animated pilot on YouTube, under the GlitchProductions channel. (creators of murder drones)
EDIT ; Spooky Month! Halloween is one of everyone's favorites, and so is October! I'm sure you've all heard of this show, made by Sr. pelo. Every year, near Halloween, a new episode for this series released! Last year, it grew huge in popularity.
There obviously tons of smaller projects out there, and I totally recommend them! Make sure to support small creators!
EDIT 2;
Fizz back w/ another banger
Y'all have obviously heard of hazbin hotel and helluva boss (I think helluva boss currently is better, especially in it storyline.)
Ramshackle ! An animated pilot on YouTube and it's 1st episode!, with many other small contents (webtoon, merch, art)
(Not really a media, but a nice nostalgic moment for old time flamingo fans) rewatch Roblox myth videos! They're actually nice to go back and remember, Especially if you were around when the vids came out.
An anime for once! Madoka Magica is great, actually. It's a dark spin on the magical girl ordeal, and it's probably the only anime I really like.
Object shows. There's a LOT of these. Most popular; Inanimate insanity, BFDI. Best recommendations; ONE (hfjcheesy), love of the s*n
Robloc area ; Regretevator, Evade, etc are lowkey fun games with good fandoms (sometimes)
EDDSWORLD OH My God please watch eddsworld it's made by this dude named Edd Gould and it's awesome
Indigo Park. Play it. It's so fucking cool/gen
Kinitopet, nice ai spin game!
Class of 2009 is epic and funny (also has triggering topics tho)
Musicals! It's nice to find new and different musicals!
Horror! +Favs ; Mandela catalogue, the walten files (there's more but it's been a bit)
Dead end, cold front, etc! The creator has amazing games :3
I had more but. Forgot oops
