I was thinking about how due to Tolkien's love of Norse Mythology there are some obvious similarities between Loki and Sauron. That got me thinking about what Norse mythological would fit Galadriel? Obviously, her Christian parallel is the Virgin Mary. After much thought, I think she reminds me of the Vanir goddess Freya ("Lady"). Freya was not only the goddess of beauty and fertility, but also Queen of the Valkyries, and associated with death. She is much of a fierce warrior as she is a divine beauty. She is the Goddess of Magic, specifically, "seidr," a femme-centered magic that involved shamanism, weaving spells, healing, and manipulating fate. Apparently, Freya taught Odin seidr, leading to him having genderfluid aspects, same as Loki. It should also be noted that while physical descriptions of Freya are rare, some scholars have claimed she was supposed to be a blonde (like Gal), redhead, or strawberry blonde. She was definitely noted for her independence, pride, and having a missing husband, Od (possibly an aspect of Odin). She had her own domain and hall, Sessrumnir, resembling how Gal rules Lotherien in her own right. She also had lovers (Haladriel?), and a close relationship with her twin brother, Freyr (reminds me of Finrod).

I've thought about Loki and Sauron being similar (and since I'm also a huge fan of Loki, especially Tom Hiddleston's version) many times!!! 😀 This is going to be a long post but have been meaning to write this at some point. Tolkien was hugely inspired by Norse myth for LOTR and Middle Earth so it wouldn't surprise me at all if Loki was an inspiration for Sauron. Plus, in the myths Loki also had reddish hair and green eyes so there's a connection between that and "Rings of Power" with the Halbrand form of Sauron. LOL 😏 Marvel too has added so much to Loki in both the comics and the MCU. I realized watching the "Loki" series and the films that he's gotten the redemption arc that many of us have given Halbrand/Sauron in our fics and I'm even more excited for tonight's season 2 finale of "Loki" and what might be coming for the films. It seems like what I wish could happen for Halbrand/Sauron is happening with Loki, including a Haladriel like ship with Loki and Sylvie.

That's a great comparison for Galadriel too. She does fit a lot with Freya. I've read multiple versions of Norse myth, especially Neil Gaiman's and Tolkien wrote his own too which I plan to read soon, and I can see it. Will point out too there's long been a theory in Norse myth that Freya and Frigg (Frigga in Marvel) are the same person and she had a split personality with each version. Frigg is Odin's wife (and Thor and Loki's mom in Marvel) and that queenly part of her fits there too.

Also I feel like Galadriel could also be a mashup of both of Loki's wives. His first wife Angrboda was a Jotun (frost giant in Marvel), a power being that Loki was also half as he was also half Asgardian. Angrboda is also a powerful witch and was the mother of Loki's 3 oldest children: Fenris the Wolf, Jorm the world serpent, and Hela the goddess of Hel (played by Cate Blanchett, the other Galadriel in the MCU but switched to be Odin's daughter and Thor and Loki's sister). When Loki became a god and joined Odin he left them to start his new life and their marriage ended.

Then his 2nd wife Sigyn is actually who I normally ship Loki with both in Norse mythology and Marvel (except the MCU as it seems like they merged his wives and his other Marvel love interest Amora/Enchantress into Sylvie as a mashup character even though Sylvie is also another universe's Loki LOL). Sigyn is normally drawn as being a blonde or red haired Asguardian and she's devoted to him even though in Marvel Comics' version he tricked her into marrying him by pretending to be her fiancé and she still fell in love with him after that. LOL (And I've seen Haladriel fics with this exact storyline.) She ends up becoming the Goddess of Fidelity to his God of Mischief (or Stories as he becomes this redemptive form in Marvel and maybe soon in the MCU depending on tonight's finale and it reminds me of Mairon). In the Marvel comics he also teaches her to become a sorceress. They also have two sons together though depending on the story one or both die tragically (which reminds me of Celebrian), and one is a werewolf.

So yeah I see so much of Norse mythology in Tolkien's work and it's fun to piece all the inspirations together like this. Plus, I'm getting 3 new romance and non-romance novels about Loki with Angrboda, Sigyn, and Amora soon and whatever that new Marvel novel out next year "What if Loki was Worthy?" too so more to read and compare soon.

ETA: I've taken out the tags that relate to Loki and the other Norse mythology characters as I got hate directed towards me from fellow "Loki" fans all because a lot of them don't like what Marvel and the show has done. Just wanted it to go in my blog's tags so it's easier to find and organized but kept the "ROP" related tags since we were talking about that originally as it relates more to Sauron and Galadriel.

POINT OF ORIGIN: As Amora is sadly not in the MCU as of yet, she will mainly have some comic based history. She has been in the comics for a very long time so I will just be doing broad strokes. Most of her characterisation will come from Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes series where she did get a lot of development. However, her canon will work in MCU events as it is relatively easy to work things into her canon as Amora is somewhat distant with Asgardians but she is well known.

ABILITIES/SKILLS: Amora is an Asgardian goddess and as such, she possesses all natural gifts bestowed to an Asgardian as her senses and physiology is superhuman, superhuman longevity, healing factor, speaking all languages through Allspeak. What is unique to Amora is her knowledge and her skills in witchcraft and sorcery. She is noted as being one of Asgard’s most powerful magic users as well as one of the most powerful in all the Nine Realms. Her skills have allowed her to surpass Karnilla and even cause fear for Asgardians who dare come across her. With her magic, Amora can but not limited to powerful spell casting, energy projection, teleportation, levitation/flight, portal creation, glamouring/illusion casting, transmutation, paralysis, force fields, life/soul absorption, time disruption, telekinesis, telepathy, hypnosis, manipulation of the elements and astral projection to name a couple. Perhaps what is most noticeable about Amora is her supernatural beauty, her beauty bewitching Asgardians, mortals and other creatures alike. She is known for using her beauty to manipulate others into doing her bidding or acting irrationally. Many people have fought over Amora, which she finds entertaining. Having built her power on seduction, Amora has manipulated and wormed her way into the hearts of many powerful individuals who all paid the price for falling for her tactics. As such, Amora is worshipped as the goddess of love, lust, and beauty, being described as the most beautiful of Asgard and is worshipped by many. Aside from her powers, Amora is noted for her cunning and tactics, proving to be skilled in manipulation. Do not be fooled, though Amora doesn’t like to get too involved in direct conflict, Amora often surprises people with her combat skills, especially when it involves using her magic in a fight.

Amora is worshipped on Asgard as the Goddess of Love, Lust and Beauty.

She has been both a friend and an enemy to Asgard. She had conquered lands and property in Asgard enough so to make others wary.

Amora is a polarizing figure in Asgard, with some seeking her out for her advice and spells for love and beauty, while others fear her for her temper, famous for dishing out cruel punishments if she deemed worship unsatisfactory or because she is finds it fun. A famous story is that a man wished for her hand in marriage so he could bask in her beauty every moment, so she turned him into a tree, so he can always watch over her beauty.

Amora’s old estate was often surrounded by creatures that were once Asgardians which she had transformed through magic. Many were either seeking her love or those she deemed provided unsatisfactory worship.

Amora has a tense relationship with Asgard due to a deal that Odin made with the Frost Giants for a truce as long as they could have Amora. Amora was not consulted on this and was simply taken away. Using her hypnotic beauty to get herself released, she returned to Asgard on a rampage and swore to never come to their aid ever again.

Amora never did come back to their aid and thus why she was absent for many of the wars and events on Asgard.

Amora is the only known Asgardian who practices witchcraft aside of traditional Asgardian magic.

Loki was never an extrovert. He was found either reading in libraries or practising sorcery. He met Amora 1300 years ago when she was an infant but not an ordinary one. The magic aura and swirls of emerald blaze flickered from her fingers when Karnilla found her. Her eyes were shining emerald green like a cat in the dark as she chuckled in the arms of the Official Sorceress of Odin. Amora was brought to the palace of Asgard to keep her magic in safe hands and make it use in good things. He and Thor spent most of their childhood playing with her. They were raised together, studied and relished the childhood together. That was all past, now she was the sorceress, the glamorous fair maiden who turns ales of Prince and princesses into slugs. Loki went straight to the halls of the revels and sat in the corner talking with Freya, the goddess of witchcraft and love. It was few moments before he had put cat ears on Enchantress’ head.

She didn’t say anything at that moment, swinging in the large arms of Thor was more important. But her eyes, those deadly green eyes like the molten emeralds were enchanting him, although they pierced the god of lies and mischief in vexation. “Fuck you” she sent this hiss and warning message to him. Telepathy was their forte.

“Loki : Please do lovely Enchantress!” Loki clicked his tongue, whispered his wish instead of speaking in his mind while his gaze travelled across the woman who laughed in the crook of Thor’s neck barely covered in a green silk. The blonde tresses of hers were like a waterfall and no other goddess could’ve looked so ensnaring as her even in the wreath of leaves or for that matter, cat ears. That oaf of his brother Thor, undeserving and unaware of the strength and passion of Amora’s love for him wanted to play tricks. It was him who asked Loki to put those ears on her head. How foolish of the mischief god to just listen to Thor’s request.

Freya : “Stop pining for her Loki! It is not unknown to all that Amora is mad for Thor, she would gladly die for him!” (Freya kissed his cheek and went away, her hand slipping in calloused ones of Njord. Loki just smiled and swigged his ale, only to spit it all out. Slugs!)

Amora : “Loki! I hate you! Must you side with Thor? I thought that your tricks didn’t include me? Did you forget our small promises? I was made a daft in the whole revels” (Amora stood before him, her shadow falling on him. One hand on her hip and other twisting some green beams of magic. )

Loki : “Hate me? Fine! When did you even have something different for me? Yes, I betrayed you by breaking our promise of not using silly tricks on each other. All you see is Thor!” Loki slammed his goblet on the table and leant back on the chair.

Amora : “I love Thor. You know it more than anyone else. Don’t you remember the nights I spent crying for him? I had this one chance to spend this revels with him and all he has done is to laugh at me, all because you agreed in his plan to give me cat ears! He didn’t see my beauty! He didn’t see how enchanting I am! I will make him pay for this. I didn’t expect this from you Loki��

Amora was gone. Her curves catching every eye as she crossed the doors and Loki was left, with his silence and lonesome. He looked around in the misty crowd, faint sounds of flutes and harps, Asgardians dancing and laughing, Thor whispering something in the ears of Sif with a lascivious smile which the goddess enjoyed and Amora leaning on the balcony of the halls staring at the constellations of the midnight sky.

Loki laughed, his goblet empty of ale mocking his lonesome. A tear cascaded down his green eyes, “Ofcourse you just love Thor! I’m but someone to make promises to not do silly tricks”

and the fandom need someone to resolve this messed up romanticisation on selfcest narcissism

i think now would be the best time , if given , to introduce Sigyn

like she’s literally a magic user herself and the goddess of loyalty witch is something loki is in great need of after being betrayed

and if they could mix & match the character of Sylvie and loki and by Sophias words “make this completely new character”

then i don’t doubt the writers could fix up Sigyns character, perhaps make her even a mix match of Amoras powers, since it was Sylvie the enchantress they fused loki with, not Amora , and Amora is far more powerful

and if there’s anything the MCU needs right now, it is as much powerful magic users it can get its hands on since Kang is arriving

Sigyns name also means “victory” so bringing upon victory in battle is something that comes with her goddess powers, witch again, is a great advantage to have when fighting Kang

i also think Sigyn (the embodiment of constancy ) could help Sylvie find somewhat peace in her chaotic life and thus help her make happy memories together

"Good, get somewhere safe." Typhoid called after Kaya, she then turned her attention back to Enchantress. The way the magic flowed over her hands, an easy tell tale sign of how the goddess worked. No hands, no magic, no threat.

Typhoid moved over to the goddess, grabbing ahold of her neck, her grip alone bruising Amora. She lifted her off the ground, shifting her weight she slammed the Enchantress into the wall. "So, you like to hurt people, huh?" She asked her other hand grabbing Amora's wrists, pinning them to the wall, she leaned in close whispering in her ear. "So do I." She grinned, setting Amora's hands on fire. She strengthened the flames, their orange hue turning blue in a matter of seconds as they burned through Amora's flesh.

Who do you think is a better match for Thor?

1: Jane Foster

His first love that he deeply cares for and will do anything to protect her at all costs. He loves her even though he is a God and she’s a mortal who’s life will be gone in a blink of an eye. Hes infatuated by how smart she is and lights up when she’s mesmerized by science. But they eventually broke up and only time will tell if they get back together in Thor: Love & Thunder.

2: Lady Sif

She is the wife of Thor in Norse mythology but in Marvel she’s the Goddess of War and one of the greatest warriors in all of Asgard. Sif longs to be with him but Thor just sees her as a good friend. She’s devoted to her home and wants always puts her duty first over want she personally wants.

3: Amora

She is a powerful enchantress who was trained as an apprentice by Karnilla of Nornheim and was eventually banished. She is the sister of Lorelei and her parentage is unknown. She wants Thor to love her and was angered when Thor rejected her and chose Sif instead of her in certain comics. She once and a while works with Loki but in the end she has eyes for Thor only. One of the greatest magic wielders in the Nine Realms and is a force to be reckoned with.

4: Brunhilde/Valkyrie

Once the Leader of the Valkyries and now the Queen of New Asgard. Granted we didn’t have much of an interaction between her and Thor from Ragnarok and Endgame. They are good friends and he trusts her enough to rule New Asgard when he’s gone.

The Enchantress' parentage is unknown, though it is known she was born in Asgard and has a sister by the name of Lorelei. Amora began learning magic as an apprentice of Karnilla, Queen of the Norns, but was eventually banished.[3] She continued learning magic on her own, notably by seducing others well versed in magic and learning their secrets. In time, Amora became one of the more powerful magic-wielders in Asgard, with her magical arsenal focused on (but not limited to) charming and mind-controlling people. Her by-then well-renowned beauty did not hinder in this.

In her first appearance, she is sent by Odin to eliminate Thor's human love interest, whom Odin sees as a distraction. She also hopes to have the thunder god for herself. She is assisted by a powerful minion — Skurge, the Executioner. The Executioner loved the Enchantress, and she strings him along with her feminine wiles, using him as her muscle.[4] She aids Loki by attempting to seduce Thor in his Don Blake identity and by sending the Executioner to kill Jane Foster, but though the Executioner traps Foster in another dimension Thor is able to bring her back by giving Skurge his hammer. When the Enchantress, angry at Skurge returning Jane, begins to turn Skurge into a tree, Skurge releases Thor from the pact in exchange for his help. Amora then tries to change Thor's hammer into a hissing serpent, but it is immune to her magic. Thor then transports the two back to Asgard.[5]

The Enchantress and the Executioner are exiled to Earth by Odin. They become members of Baron Heinrich Zemo's original Masters of Evil, the opposite number to the Avengers, a superhero team that Thor had joined. The Enchantress hypnotizes Thor into attacking the other Avengers with her own spells and a special brew, making him believe they are enemies of humanity, but Iron Man wakes Thor from his trance by reflecting sunlight into his eyes. Thor sends the Masters to another dimension through a space warp, but two issues later, the Enchantress uses a spell to send them back to Earth. She recruits Wonder Man into the Masters of Evil after paying his bail. She also meets Immortus, who helps Zemo attack the Avengers. When this attempt fails, she turns back time to prevent it from happening, though the Masters retain their memories of this event. When Immortus begins to contact the Masters, the Enchantress prevents this from happening.[6] She then joins in the Masters of Evil's final assault against the Avengers and breaks the Black Knight and Melter out of jail. She manages to escape in the end with the Executioner when the other two are transported to another dimension where their weapons rebound due to different scientific laws.[7] As a member of the Masters of Evil, the Enchantress (and Executioner) repeatedly face the Avengers. She is especially affronted by the attempts of the Scarlet Witch, a mortal, to subvert her divine spells, though she is occasionally genuinely challenged by the Scarlet Witch's mutant gifts.

With the Executioner, she menaces Jane Foster again at Loki's behest.[8]

The Enchantress is also notable in that she has given other superhumans their powers. For example, she used the deceased Zemo's equipment to make a henchman of his, Erik Josten, into the original Power Man, who aids her in battling the Avengers. Her illusions and traps turn the city against the Avengers, forcing them to disband and making Power Man seem like a hero. Captain America, in disguise, corrects this by obtaining a taped confession from the Enchantress and Power Man. Power Man is able to defeat him, but the Enchantress is knocked out by gas from Hawkeye's arrow. Realizing the tape is on its way to the police, the Enchantress used her spells to teleport away.[9] The Enchantress is then recruited by the Mandarin, along with the Executioner, Swordsman, Power Man, and Living Laser for his plan for world domination. With the Executioner, she attacked the Asian sub-continent with an army of trolls, but they were defeated by Hercules and the Scarlet Witch.[10]

Amora poses as the Valkyrie and forms the Lady Liberators, which battle the male Avengers. She dupes Arkon into fighting the Avengers.[11] Amora also uses her magics to make Samantha Parrington and later Barbara Norris into the Valkyrie.[12] With the Executioner, she battles the Defenders and the Thing.[13]

With the Executioner, Amora attempts to conquer Asgard with a troll army. She also served as Loki's lieutenant in his brief rule of Asgard.[14]

During the "Secret Wars," she is placed on the villains's side, but she spurns the idea of fighting a gladiatorial game for the amusement of a higher being. She instead proposes to Thor that the two of them simply join forces, leave both heroes and villains behind, and go back home to Asgard.[volume & issue needed]

On the appearance of Amora's sister Lorelei, it is established that the two sisters have something of a strained relationship, rooted in rivalry. More than a little friction is seen between the pair, not the least due to competition over which one of them would manage to seduce Thor.[15]

The Enchantress joined the Asgardian gods and heroes in final battle against the world-ender Surtur. She establishes that she is motivated by enlightened self-interest: Surtur seeks to end the world, in which case Amora would perish.[16]

Soon after the Surtur War, Thor leads a number of Asgardian heroes to Hel, the realm of the death goddess Hela. The Executioner asks Thor to let him join the expedition for reasons he does not immediately reveal. In truth, he had seen the Enchantress dallying with Heimdall, and, heartbroken, Skurge wishes to lose himself in a noble cause — such as rescuing lost souls from Hela. Thor's forces accomplish their mission but need one man to guard their retreat from Hel by holding the bridge Gjallerbru. The Executioner, knowing there was no more Amora for him, chooses to be that man, giving his life so the others might flee. When Amora hears the news, to everyone's surprise, she is truly grief-stricken.[17]

After Skurge's death, Amora continues her regular hi-jinks, occasionally helping Asgard, occasionally opposing it. She aids Asgard against the evil Egyptian God Seth's legions.[18]

Lorelei later perishes as Amora refused to give her life for her sister's. The deceased Skurge (in Valhalla) rejects the Enchantress, and Amora goes on to empower the Earthman Brute Benhurst into a short-lived new Executioner to serve as her minion in Skurge's stead.[19] Amora becomes vexed with the Avenger Wonder Man and assists Thor and the Warriors Three in their quest to return Odin to the throne of Asgard. During this time, an attraction between Amora and Asgard's guardian Heimdall is explored. Amora even battles the powerful entity Nightmare on behalf of both of them as Heimdall was unable to protect himself at the time. She ultimately rejects Heimdall when she realizes that he wishes to be married and she does not.[volume & issue needed]

In Acts of Vengeance, Amora and Skurge join forces and attack Doctor Strange, only to be bested by Clea when she flies to his aid.[volume & issue needed]

Later, Thor has been spurned by his father Odin, exiled to Earth and disempowered. In this vulnerable state, Thor ends up forming a willing liaison with Amora, with the two of them living out of a loft in New York City as lovers. This status quo would remain until Thor goes missing during Heroes Reborn and is presumed dead.[20]

During Ragnarök, Amora is present with the other Asgardian deities and dwarves when Eitri and his brothers are sealed into a tomb they had carved due to the Mjolnir mold destroying them, albeit accidentally. When Surtur's forging of new Mjolnirs creates chaos, Thor attempts to fly to the skies to discern the source, but is at once struck down by a blast from a Mjolnir duplicate of Loki's; Amora is slain by the same blast, one of the first victims of Loki during this event. Neither her magic nor her inherent durability is capable of shielding her. Heimdall falls soon afterward; Amora is not seen again except, seemingly, in one of the realms of death, unable to use her magic to assist her once-lover.[volume & issue needed]

After Ragnarök, when Thor, Asgard and the other Asgardians return, Thor is manipulated by Loki into inadvertently awakening some of Thor's enemies, among them Amora, though when she was last seen, she is the victim, falling by Loki's hands and mourned by Thor and the other Asgardians. She does not return to Asgard but instead goes to attack the world tree, Yggdrasil in order to resurrect Skurge and release him from Valhalla. Amora is ultimately thwarted after Thor, Loki, and Balder convince her that she is dishonoring his memory with her actions.[21]

She has returned after Thor's resurrection, with Donald Blake - bitter about his separation from Thor and his non-existent past - offering the Enchantress his soul if she can make him a god again.[22] The resulting god is a twisted abomination, with Thor defeating the Enchantress and her new god before banishing them from Asgard, leaving Blake - reduced to a living head after his body was consumed to create the god - connected to a series of dream-weaving creatures to make him dream that he is living a full life.[23]

After this Amora was defeated by Thor and banished to the forest in Norway. She was trapped in an Odinforce barrier and stripped of her powers. Lady Deathstrike and Typhoid Mary were on a quest to find Arkea, an intelligent gestalt microorganism capable of controlling machines and people. They found Amora and offered to help her regain her powers.[24] In exchange they founded a new sisterhood to battle the X-Men, who were hunting Arkea and Lady Deathstrike. Arkea hacked the Odinforce spell and restored Amora's full powers. In exchange for this, Amora restored the physical form of the immortal mutant witch, Selene,[25] and helped Arkea resurrect Madelyne Pryor. Before the Sisterhood could add more members, the X-Men attacked and killed Arkea. Amora was ambushed by the X-Man M, who defeated her in a surprise attack. However, Madelyne Pryor swore to continue the Sisterhood, which presently has Madelyne, Selene, Lady Deathstrike, Amora, and Typhoid Mary as members.[26]

During the "AXIS" storyline, Enchantress appears as a member of Magneto's unnamed supervillain group during the fight against Red Skull's Red Onslaught form.[27] After the heroes and villains present at the battle experience a moral inversion due to the Scarlet Witch and Doctor Doom's attempt to bring out the Xavier in Onslaught backfiring,[volume & issue needed] Magneto recruits Enchantress as one of his new 'Avengers' to stop the now-villainous Avengers and X-Men.[volume & issue needed]

Following the "Secret Wars" storyline, she has become a member of Malekith the Accursed's Dark Council.[28] Through a spell, she takes control of the queen of the Light Elves, allowing her marriage to Malekith to happen and the conquest of their realm.[29]

During the "War of the Realms" storyline, Enchantress accompanies Malekith the Accursed in his invasion on Midgard.[30] She and Kurse fight Ghost Rider and She-Hulk until Jane Foster slams Skidbladnir into Enchantress.[31] In Uruguay, the Enchantress raises the dead, but Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and Balder ward her off.[32]

POINT OF ORIGIN: As Amora is sadly not in the MCU as of yet, she will mainly have some comic based history. She has been in the comics for a very long time so I will just be doing broad strokes. Most of her characterisation will come from Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes series where she did get a lot of development. However, her canon will work in MCU events as it is relatively easy to work things into her canon as Amora is somewhat distant with Asgardians but she is well known.

ABILITIES/SKILLS: Amora is an Asgardian goddess and as such, she possesses all natural gifts bestowed to an Asgardian as her senses and physiology is superhuman, superhuman longevity, healing factor, speaking all languages through Allspeak. What is unique to Amora is her knowledge and her skills in witchcraft and sorcery. She is noted as being one of Asgard’s most powerful magic users as well as one of the most powerful in all the Nine Realms. Her skills have allowed her to surpass Karnilla and even cause fear for Asgardians who dare come across her. She has been both a friend and an enemy to Asgard. She had conquered lands and property in Asgard enough so to make others wary.

Amora is a polarizing figure in Asgard, with some seeking her out for her advice and spells for love and beauty, while others fear her for her temper, famous for dishing out cruel punishments if she deemed worship unsatisfactory or because she is finds it fun. A famous story is that a man wished for her hand in marriage so he could bask in her beauty every moment, so she turned him into a tree, so he can always watch over her beauty.

Amora’s old estate was often surrounded by creatures that were once Asgardians which she had transformed through magic. Many were either seeking her love or those she deemed provided unsatisfactory worship.

Amora has a tense relationship with Asgard due to a deal that Odin made with the Frost Giants for a truce as long as they could have Amora. Amora was not consulted on this and was simply taken away. Using her hypnotic beauty to get herself released, she returned to Asgard on a rampage and swore to never come to their aid ever again.

Amora never did come back to their aid and thus why she was absent for many of the wars and events on Asgard. 

Amora is the only known Asgardian who practices witchcraft aside of traditional Asgardian magic.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER FEEL ABOUT EMPEROR DOOM? In public, Amora is a supporter of Doom’s regime. She believes it is nothing but spectacular. However, beneath that, its riles her and has left her seething. If anyone was to rule, it should of been her, not him. Of course, Amora is confident that she can change that. Doom wouldn’t be the first leader she had wormed her way in with.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER FEEL ABOUT THE BATTLES? ARE THEY TRYING TO AVOID THEM? OR ARE THEY EAGER TO JUMP IN? Amora often spectates at the battles but she doesn’t plan to get involved. As many of Midgard’s heroes haven’t met Amora, she wants to keep her talents tucked away for as long as she possibly can. However, she is an Asgardian, so she does enjoy a good violent battle, preferably to the death.

WHY HAS YOUR CHARACTER ACCEPTED THEIR JOB POSITION? WILL THEY USE IT TO GET CLOSER TO DOOM? OR WILL THEY USE IT EXPLOIT HIM? OR DO THEY SIMPLY LIKE THEIR JOB? Amora believes she was given her job due to her siren like qualities, her beauty being able to captivate a crowd and bring them in with her allure. Though she loves the adoration, she hates that she has essential became Doom’s trapped songbird. Amora of course has played the damsel who bewitches the “hero” and she plans to use her allure to get as close to Doom as possible. If not to kill him and take over, then to manipulate his actions and essentially rule through him. Amora did always have big ambitions.

Amora. His first love. At least the closest thing he’d thought of as love at the time. Back then, from his perspective, it had been the wild rush of adolescence, both using one another in their manipulations and lusts. She hadn’t loved him, not that he was aware of, and he had been infatuated even since being a young boy watching her at her spells. What a mess they had all gotten in, the sisters and the brothers, in tangles of jealousy, unrequited feelings, magic and sex. Loki almost missed it.

Thor 4

hi no one knows me here but imma bout to give a rant no one wants! are you ready? here we gooooo!!

Okay! first of all lets talk about thor Ragnarok. When I first saw it I loved it! I was so happy to see my top marvel characters on screen! I really waited forever for new thor content and just was generally happy I was getting some! I thought the movie was different for thor a nice little change of pace, but! i understand that it is problematic and as a fan of the original two thor movies i can see how the third one does not live up to the others, which is why I was scared when I heard  Taika Waititi was going to direct it again. Especially since he did not do his research previously which I think is sad and sloppy. But then.... oh but then!!! I saw this!!

and i was like

but let me tell you why!! so, before I even knew there was going to be a thor four before we all knew marvel was going to break its three movie rule... i was writing my own thor four script. Obviously it was fan fiction in script format and was for me because like i said i just want more thor content and never in my wildest dreams would I guess marvel would break their three movie rule for my boy thor! A round of applause please! 

However, as mentioned before I was scared because the man who kind of made a parody of the thor characters was making the fourth one. I have nothing against Taika Waititi personally, but I’m just sad he didn’t really put much effort into a marvel series I love. Now, back to the fact I was writing my own thor... actually backtrack... THOR 2: THE DARK WORLD! Around that time the most wonderful movie came out.... Frozen... 

we all just want to... let it go... puns aside since those two movies were out on dvd around the same time and I watched them both around the same time and I coined a little phrase... Love is an open Thor... Love is an open Thor... Thor Love and Thunder.... Love is an open Thor... Thor Love and Thunder... COINCIDENCE??? (seriously look at some of my tags)

Okay back to the fact I wanted my own damn thor movie! I am writing this as of July 20, 2019 i will reblog this with a movie review but as of right now here is what I was planning. So lets start with the basic plot!! I was thinking of using bits of the Celestials plot and the fact that Thor eventually have to pass his hammer down to Jane Foster. So, Thor and Loki (this was before end game when I was hoping and praying for Loki’s safe return) hang out on earth after all the end game and infinity war chaos. Thor is not really feeling earth’s home vibes but hears of an asgardian who has really adapted to earth life (again this was thought of before end game). Him and Loki go to find that person and its Sigyn who has been on earth for the past 10-20 years on a mission for Frigga! She had no clue Asgard was blown up and that Ragnarok happened. But thats not all! She is housing the infamous Amora and Lorelei who were banished by Loki when he was Odin because they sniffed him out. Loki tells Thor to not trust them, but Thor missing Jane and starting to become under little miss Enchantress’s spell, doesn’t listen. The three lovely ladies are reintroduced into Asgardian society on earth and just be themselves. Over hearing about Skurge’s death and the fact there is hire beings that Sigyn was trying find twelve perfect humans to sacrifice to, Amora and Lorelei decide to finish the job/ corrupt the sacrifices and exchange earth for the return of Asgard. Not realizing they sort of can’t do that, Thor, Valkyrie, Loki, and Sigyn go out and try to stop the girls. There’s badass mind battle scenes between Amora and Scarlet Witch, Spiderman appearance just being his cute self, Sigyn admitting she’s bi as hell being in love with Lady Loki, Loki, and a little crush on Valkyrie, cool magic scenes between Loki and Sigyn, Thor and Loki beginning to heal, Amora tricking Valkyrie into an amulet(a little of that plot line... she would be out by the main battle) and Valkyrie healing realizing she deserves better, and most importantly.... Jane Foster. Yes I wanted Jane to be apart of this because I was upset she wasn’t in Thor Ragnarok. You wouldn’t make a spiderman movie without MJ, you wouldn’t make a Iron Man Movie without Peper.... where was Jane? 

Anyway Jane would help with holding off the Celestials in a big battle as long as she could and of course help throughout the movie. Once its realized they had to resurrect the Destroyer armor (since Thor killed it in the first movie) and that would be done by all of the remaining Asgardians life force. Thor gives his powers to Jane to make sure everything goes according to plan as everyone (including Amora and Lorelei, Sigyn will bribe them) sacrifices themselves. After the Celestials are put off (for now) Jane as Thor goes to all the other gods and asks for life forces and gets them, uses Sigyn’s spell to revive everyone. Amora gets Skurge back but has to go to prison, Loki frees Sigyn of her loyalty to Asgard (i was gonna make her loyalty goddess angle as more as a curse) and she could either be a supportive sometimes lover of loki or just a lover to Valkyrie(someone to treat my girl right!) and Jane becomes the new Thor!

My movie does several things! Establish Celestials a new really big threat (avengers 4, 5 whatever), brings some peace and understanding between Thor and Loki, gives Loki someone who will always root for him. make Marvel gay, gives Jane the hammer, and if they wanted to do more Thors with Jane clean up whatever mess Sigyn made because she may or may not have accidentally brought back old enemies! Good job Sigyn! 

Now are my ideas perfect?? No! Is it well thought out? No it needs more work... would I even dream marvel would pull something like this? Well I did which inspired me to do further Thor research and come up with a decent plot (I hope its a decent plot its different comic book ideas in like one). 

Now what the actual movie has confirmed...

JANE IS BACK BABY AND SHE’S GETTING THOSE POWERS!!!  HELL YEAH!! 

also during comic con they have confirmed eternals  and who created the damn eternals.... thats right the Celestials... these are celestial beings you don’t want to mess with and there’s a lot of them like different type wise! So many marvel charcters deal with the Celestials... are they the new bad boys of marvel? We will see!!

Anyway, I know that since end game things to my plot don’t fit the canon such as Loki being alive but not at the same time and Thor joining the Guardians of the Galaxy.  There was rumors that Thor would join but I didn’t see that in the marvel line up unless I didn’t look close enough!

Besides that, Thor 4 is a mystery! Let’s see what happens! Let’s see if my plot follows closely, or the movie be 100x better than my fan fiction!! I really hope the movie is 100x better! If not, catch me posting on AO3! Also like I’m pretty sure the government is watching my phone because I remember telling the jane thing to a friend through text... either that or the universe is listening and giving me Jane as Thor and a Loki series!! and if the universe is still listening I would like my college fund to be paid off... please?
