Mayurkola has been in the news since July 28. Speaking to reporters that day, Asha Lakra, a Bharatiya Janata Party politician and member of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, listed it as one of the nine panchayats in Sahibganj where a total of ten Adivasi women elected representatives were married to “Bangladeshi infiltrators, Rohingya Muslims”.
While Lakra did not name any of the women, she did mention the posts they held – eight mukhiyas, including of Mayurkola, one panchayat samiti member and a zilla parishad chairperson.
Lakra was echoing what her party colleague and member of parliament, Nishikant Dubey, had said on the floor of the Lok Sabha. In his speech on July 25, Dubey had alleged that “Bangladeshi infiltrators” were marrying Adivasi women to grab their land and property, and to use them as proxies to gain power in the Santhal Pargana, the northeastern region of Jharkhand, traditionally home to the Santal Adivasi community. Dubey had claimed, without evidence, that 100 Adivasi women mukhiyas were married to Muslims.
His claims, meanwhile, echoed what Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said at a meeting of the BJP’s Jharkhand unit on July 20. Shah alleged that “thousands of infiltrators” were marrying Adivasi women to “obtain certificates and buy land”. Labelling this as “love jihad and land jihad”, the home minister claimed this was leading to changes in the demographic of the state.
Scroll travelled to Sahibganj to investigate the claims emanating from the highest rungs of India’s ruling party. Since Lakra was the only BJP leader who had cited specific evidence in support of her contentions, we used her list of nine panchayats as a starting point.
Scroll found that in four of the 10 cases, Lakra’s claims of Adivasi women being married to Muslim men were outright false. Three of the women had Adivasi husbands. The fourth, Kapra Tudu, had married outside the Adivasi community, but her husband, Nitin Saha, is Hindu, not Muslim.
In six cases, where Adivasi women panchayat leaders were indeed married to Muslims, all of them told us they had married out of choice. “The Indian constitution gives us the freedom to marry whom we please,” one of them said.
Lakra’s claim that the men who married these women had done so to take over their land rings hollow in light of the fact that none of the women had inherited any familial land.

What we are having is a farce in name of elections. This is by no means a free and fair elections.
Most of the opposition leaders including two CMs who could pull in crowds and influence voters are in jail. On the other hand, those close to RSS-BJP with rape charges even are either not arrested or are out on bail or on parole.
Modi has freezed bank accounts of Congress. Opposition already has significantly low bank balance than BJP owing to electoral bonds but now even what they have couldn't be utilised. It's not at all level playing field.
At many places opposition candidates are being forced or bribed to withdraw their nominations. Case in point, Amit Shah's constituency. It's well documented how multiple candidates were forced to withdraw from there. Surat and that other place are again blots.
For ages India has had a decent election with no overt rule breaking. Asking votes on religious lines is illegal but BJP has done this openly. There are tweets with "vote on Ram" etc from official handles. Modi has openly asked vote on Ram from his rallies. Election commission refuses to act.
Modi has also been openly divisive and given communal speeches. He has stooped to so low that even imagining as much was difficult years ago. Opposition has complained to election commission but spineless three who Modi himself appointed remain as cold and reaction-less as Modi was in that Karan Thapar interview after that glass of water.
Mr Modi has been blatantly lying in his speeches. Mangalsutra, buffalo, Muslims - vary many things have been attributed to Congress Manifesto. None of which exists in their Manifesto. But media has not once called out Mr Modi's speeches. His voters, most of who celebrate Ram, whose entire story is based on a life lived around ideals of truth, seem to care less. You then wonder about them. For example, his voters dislike Gandhi who all his life stressed on speaking truth and was a great devotee of Lord Ram. Modi's voters hate Gandhi. But they love Modi who keeps on lying as if it's not oxygen he lives on but lies. What's word for someone who's more than a habitual lier? Fraud? Even fraud feels like a good word compared to the amount of lying Mr Modi has done. And he does his politics in name of Ram. And somehow worshippers of Ram (or so these people claim) love Mr Modi. I fail to understand this hate of a true follower of Ram and love of a daylight fraud.
This election is not being fought between INDIA alliance and BJP. That's unfair comparison. It's between INDIA versus BJP plus media. If it was minus media then for opposition this would have been a cakewalk. There's ten years of anti-incumbency. That alone has routed govts in past. Plus, just think of the catastrophe if media went after Modi govt like it did with UPA 2. Unlike in 2G, in electoral bonds, there's clear quid pro quo. There's Brijbhushan, Sengar, Ram Rahim, Baba Ramdev, Revanna and others that Modi has shielded. Mr Modi's 2ab, doland, strenhh, radar clouds, gutter gas and umpteen stupid comments - these are real and not out of context clipped bites like Rahul's potato one. Media has created Modi's image. Again a fraud. If Modi gave a single interview to say, Ravish Kumar, forget Karan Thapar - what do you think would happen?

Fandom: Hogwarts Legacy
O/C: Sebastian Sallow x Edwart Thompson x Ominis Gaunt ✨️platonic✨️ (My OC)
Warnings: None:)
Word count: 1011
Chapter 3
Part 7
“Well. Hello there stranger.” Sebastian joked as Edwart took a spot in front of him in the great hall as Sebastian and Ominis were eating supper. “We haven't seen you the entire day. Did you skip breakfast and dinner?”
Edwart took a breath and spoke as he poured himself tea. “I was out all night, and returned around dusk.”
Sebastian looked at Ominis who's reaction was similar to his. Bewilderment.
“What were you doing all night?” Sebastian asked.
“Helping a friend. I'm fine. Please, don't worry too much.” Edwart said while sipping his tea. “I just couldn't sleep.”
“Are you sure? You know you can tell us anything right?” Ominis asked with worry audible in his voice.
Edwart smiled gently. “Thank you Ominis. Natsai Onai found a letter where Rookwood and Harlow are plotting something. They mentioned my name and she's suspicious of me being involved. I couldn't tell her the truth.” Edwart looked at the ground.
“Edwart,” Ominis called him to gain his attention. “You're being too hard on yourself.”
“Agreed,” Sebastian added with a small smile. “Turn that frown upside-down. Are you excited for your first astronomy lesson tonight? You're gonna get tortured by Amit Thakkar. You've met him in potions.”
“He seems… as a typical Ravenclaw.”
“He is that.” Ominis chuckled. “Glad I am dismissed from that. Today's supposed to be cold…”
“Ugh. Great.” Edwart grumbled. “Another all-nighter and in the cold. Aren't you taking astronomy Sebastian?”
“Not this weekend.” He grinned from ear to ear. “I'm in another group. I had astronomy a few weeks back.”
Edwart sighed deeply. And Sebastian tried to ease his mood.
“Cheer up, pretty boy. It's just an hour long. Then you’re free for the next few weeks.”
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“The heavens remain hazy to the starry-eyed.” Professor Shah intrigued Edwart with her speech. “Now if you were to devote yourselves to persistent and
painstaking observation, you just might catch a glimpse. To your stations everyone.”
Edwart looked around unsure what to do, aware that he did not possess a telescope.
Tumblr media
“Still don't have your own, Mr Thompson? You can't be the new student forever, you know. You can share with Mr Thakkar.”
Amit smiled at Edwart stepping to the side to let him have a look through his telescope. When Edwart noticed the equipment was blurred he wanted to adjust it when Amit jumped to it first.
“Here I can adjust that for you-”
But Professor Shah was quicker.
Tumblr media
“No, no. Bring it into focus. On your own.”
So Edwart did. Pretty well actually. He completed the given assignment.
“Now,” Professor Shah spoke again.“I expect all of you to put in your stargazing hours outside of class. Is that clear?”
“But Professor, it's freezing out.” Leander Prewett spoke with a shaking breath. That sentence drove the Professor to a lecture.
“Mere cold didn't stop the great stargazers of the past. Look only at the Astronomy Tables they erected throughout the Highlands. from which they gazed, millennia ago, on the very selfsame stars above us. Is that clear?"
Tumblr media
Professor Shah looked around at the students shaking from the cold. Even Edwart, who was dressed better than the students around him, was freezing to the bone.
Professor Shah looked around disappointed and with a sign said “Dismissed.”
Every student practically ran towards the stairwell to seek some warmth Edwart was as well when Amit stopped him.
“Hello! I don't believe we've met officially. I'm Amit. I'm something of an Astronomy buff.”
“Hello, Amit. It's nice to officially meet you. I’m Edwart.”
“Did I hear Professor Shah say that you don't have your own telescope? I have a spare one you could borrow for the rest of the term."
Edwart was thrown off by that sudden kindness. “That's very kind of you. Amit. Are you sure you won't need it?”
“I'm certain. It's my old one. I finally got my hands on the new Celestia Contemplor. You've heard of it, I assume?”
“I-” Edwart had simply no idea what to say.
“I mean, of course, you have. it's only the pinnacle of all personal stargazing implements. But my old model's not too shabby either: Goblin-cut glass. first-rate optical enchantments. Hate to think such a fine instrument is just collecting dust.”
“Well, I- thank you, Amit.” Edwart stumbled.
“Think nothing of it.” Amit smiled.“Anyway, the telescope's in the storage room right underneath us. You can't miss it. I have some, uh, reading to finish on the lower deck. Come find me there afterwards - and bring the telescope. There's something I want to talk to you about”
“Ah.” Edwart thought. “I see where this is going. I hope I'm wrong though.”
Edwart found the telescope and then returned to Amit.
“Amit. I have the telescope. It's nicer than I had expected.”
“I would not offer a prospective stargazer a third-rate Lunascope.” Amit laughed as if this was the most obvious knowledge in the Scottish Highlands.“But there is, um, something else.”
“Of course, there is…” Edwart thought. “Yes, what is it?” he spoke suspiciously.
“You remember those Astronomy Tables Shah was going on about? It just so happens I've been reading up on them a little myself. And it seems there may be one right here at Hogwarts. I
believe we could use it to find hidden constellations!”
“I’m sorry Amit. As much as what you are implying sounds like an interesting adventure. I am beat, and Shah already dismissed us. Thank you for letting me use your telescope but I won't be able to help you. Goodnight Amit.” Edwart walked away not looking back but he knew Amit was disappointed. But decided to finally put his sleep first. Maybe this time he would sleep peacefully again.

Thank you for reading Part 7. Only one more left and because this one was so short, tomorrow is coming THE last part. Ah astronomy! Felt as an important class to mention (unlike the flying class where I couldnt find a good moment to slide it in) but not enough to write about the astronomy table and the little escapade with Amit, Eddie's too tired to even care lol.

Muscle Weakness: Weakness in the limbs, often on one side of the body, can occur.
Coordination Problems: Difficulty with coordination and balance may result in stumbling or difficulty walking.
Vision Problems: Blurred vision, double vision, or eye pain can be early signs of MS.
Spasticity: Muscle stiffness and spasms can be quite uncomfortable.
Cognitive Changes: Problems with memory, attention, and problem-solving can occur.
Bladder and Bowel Issues: MS can affect control over urination and bowel movements.
Pain: Chronic pain, such as nerve pain or muscle pain, can be present.
Heat Sensitivity: Many people with MS find that their symptoms worsen in hot weather or after exercise.
Depression and Mood Changes: Emotional changes, including depression and mood swings, can be part of MS.
Speech and Swallowing Difficulties: MS can affect the muscles used for speech and swallowing.
Tremors: Some individuals with MS may experience tremors, which are involuntary shaking movements.
It's important to note that MS symptoms can vary widely between individuals, and not everyone will experience all of these symptoms. Additionally, symptoms can come and go or worsen over time, which is why early diagnosis and treatment are crucial. If you suspect you have MS or are experiencing these symptoms, consult a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
It's essential to consult with Dr. Amit Shah, a healthcare professional or Neurologist in Mumbai practicing at Dr. Amit Shah Neurology Clinic for a proper diagnosis and individualized care.

[ad_1] GG News Bureau New Delhi, 21st Oct. Union Home Minister Amit Shah reiterated India’s commitment to combating terrorism, infiltration, and conspiracies to create religious tension, even as the nation has achieved relative peace in regions like Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast, and Naxal-affected areas. Shah made these remarks while addressing the Police Commemoration Day function at the National Police Memorial on Monday. “Despite the progress, our fight is not over. We will continue to combat narcotics, cybercrime, and other threats that challenge our national security,” Shah stated, paying homage to the sacrifices of police personnel who laid down their lives in service to the nation. He assured the families of the martyrs that their sacrifices would not be in vain, promising that India would achieve its goal of becoming a fully developed nation by 2047. Since India’s independence, 36,438 police personnel have died in the line of duty, with 216 of those sacrifices occurring in the past year, Shah noted. He emphasized the country’s gratitude, stating, “The nation will forever remain grateful for their role in our development journey.” Reflecting on India’s progress, Shah highlighted that relative peace has been established in Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast, and Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) regions over the last decade. However, he stressed that the challenges posed by infiltration, terrorism, and other security threats remain and will be met with continued vigilance. Shah also spoke about the three new criminal laws that came into force on July 1, stating that the groundwork for their implementation began five years ago and is expected to be completed in the next three years. He assured that India’s criminal justice system would soon be among the most modern globally, enabling swift justice up to the Supreme Court within three years of an FIR registration. Discussing welfare initiatives for police personnel, Shah highlighted the ‘Ayushman CAPF’ scheme, which allows police personnel and their families to access medical treatment in any Ayushman hospital. He also announced the approval for the construction of 13,000 houses for CAPF personnel, with 11,276 expected to be ready by March next year to improve housing satisfaction. Before delivering his speech, the Home Minister paid floral tributes to police personnel who have died in the line of duty. Police Commemoration Day, observed annually on October 21, honors the memory of ten policemen who lost their lives in an ambush by heavily armed Chinese troops at Hot Springs in Ladakh in 1959, as well as all other police martyrs since then. Amit Shah’s Doctored Video on Reservation Goes Viral Amid Lok Sabha Elections
Tumblr media
The ongoing Lok Sabha elections has instigated a constant and intense broil between the political parties in the nation, with accusations and claims on several issues coming to light in political discussions. Amidst such viral issues under discussion, a video of Amit Shah, the Minister of Home Affairs of India has gained massive attention recently. As per the video's claims, it is being shown that Shah allegedly called SC/ST and OBC reservation 'unconstitutional' and promised an end to it if the party wins.

Truth
It has been found that the viral video has been originally taken from a clip dated 23 April, 2023 in which Shah is addressing a gathering at the Vijay Sankalp Sabha at Chevella, Telangana. In the original video, Shah criticized the religion-based reservations, targeting the Muslim reservations in Telangana. Furthermore, he also promised to do away with this practice and to ensure the rightful benefit of reservations to SC/ST and OBC groups. The logo of Telugu news channel V6 News Telugu present in the viral video has led to the original event news clip. https://youtu.be/nWFdUNVI9yU?si=ld4vP43jthDbW62N As seen in the edited video, Amit Shah's speech directly cuts from "gairsamvaidhanik... (unconstitutional)" to "SC, ST  aur OBC...".  However, after verifying the original words of the Home Minister from the news clip, it has been found that 8 seconds of the speech have been cut from the viral video. The original news clipping has been used from video duration 2:38 to 2:44, after which the part where Shah mentions Muslim reservation (from 2:44 to 2:52) has been deleted from the widely circulated video. Huge Turnout of Devotees at Ayodhya Ram Temple Following 'Pran Pratishtha'
The highly anticipated opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has drawn massive crowds a day after the grand consecration ceremony, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by numerous political figures and celebrities.
Prior to the temple’s public opening, a surge of devotees gathered at the site, with crowds assembling as early as 3 am. The gates will be accessible to the public from 7 am to 11:30 am and again from 2 pm to 7 pm.
The ‘pran pratishtha’ rituals unfolded yesterday, featuring PM Modi paying homage to the Ram Lalla idol. Distinguished guests, including Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, graced the ceremony with their presence.
Tumblr media
Expressing his sentiments on Twitter, Prime Minister Modi stated, “The extraordinary moment of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla’s life in Ayodhya Dham is going to leave everyone emotional. It is my great pleasure to be a part of this divine programme. Jai Siya Ram!”
Post the rituals, PM Modi addressed a gathering of approximately 8,000 individuals, comprising seers, Ram Janmabhoomi movement affiliates, and figures from various fields. The Prime Minister also visited Kuber Tila and engaged with workers contributing to the temple’s construction.
While the ceremony was broadcast nationwide, senior BJP leaders like JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah opted for live streaming. However, Opposition leaders chose to abstain from the event, leading to political disagreements between the BJP and the Opposition.
Several BJP-governed states declared the day a holiday, encouraging people to witness the ceremony on TV and partake in local temple festivities. Ayodhya’s atmosphere was further heightened by a devotional “Mangal Dhwani,” featuring 50 traditional musical instruments from across the country.
The construction of the Ram Temple concluded a protracted legal battle, culminating in the Supreme Court’s verdict in November 2019 in favor of the temple. Prime Minister Modi, in a national address, heralded the consecration of Ram Lalla’s idol as the dawn of a new era.
Addressing the nation, PM Modi remarked, “I have come before you as you witness the divine consciousness in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. There’s so much to say, but there’s a lump in my throat. After unprecedented patience, innumerable sacrifices, and penance, our Lord Ram has arrived. I congratulate the country on this occasion.”
PM Modi called for unity, emphasizing that the temple signifies not just triumph but also humility, underscoring India’s maturity in resolving historical disputes. He urged critics to reconsider their perspectives, highlighting that Ram symbolizes energy, not fire, and is a solution, not a dispute.
“The construction of this temple of Ram Lalla is also a symbol of the Indian society’s peace, patience, and mutual harmony. We can see this has not given birth to a fire, but an energy,” he affirmed in a powerful and emotional post-consecration speech, invoking the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam,’ stating that Ram defines the world as a family.

On Sardar Patel birth anniversery on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent greetings to the nation. In remembrance of his national accomplishments, Prime Minister Modi stated that Sardar Patel’s dedication to national integration still serves as a guide for the people.
“We honor Sardar Patel’s unwavering spirit, visionary statesmanship, and extraordinary dedication in shaping the future of our country on this Jayanti.” We are still guided by his dedication to national integration. PM Modi stated on X (previously Twitter) that “We are forever indebted to his service.”
On the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary, the Prime Minister visited a daredevil stunts event hosted by women members of the CRPF at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat.
