Does anyone remember these cases? Caster Semenya, Dutee Chand, Christine Mboma, Aminatou Seyni, Maria José Martínez-Patiño, and Beatrice Masilingi are all cis womem who have been disqualified from certain professional races because their bodies naturally produce more testosterone than is considered normal in a medical sense.
This is a condition they were born with. But rules regarding high testosterone levels say they "do not qualify as female" for the purpose of these races.
This isn't strictly transphobia, but neither can one say it's unrelated. It's misogyny. (And while white women have experienced this, it seems most people who get disqualified are people of color, so I don't believe for one second racism isn't involved.) It's saying that to be a woman, you need to fit into a box. It's saying if you don't meet a checklist of qualifications, you are "other."
Anti-trans laws hurt anyone who wants to live in a peaceful, tolerant society.

Y'all wanna hear something ugly?
Aminatou Seyni, a female Athlete from Niger, won't be allowed to compete in the Tokyo Olympic Games, because of her body's natural ability to produce more testosterone.
Just like Caster Semenya, white people want to punish Aminatou Seyni for existing as she is.
Interestingly, the IAAF regulations on hyperandrogenism are only supposed to apply to the 400m and 800m events. This is also why Aminatou Seyni decided, in 2019, to go from 400m to 200m
Per the IAAF's own rules, Aminatou Seyni was in the clear.
Now a sprinter of the 200 meters competition, she shouldn't have been expected to supposed to take by medicine that would alter her body
But as we know, the goal post keeps being moved away for Black folks.

Diamond League: Noah Lyles clocks 19.50 in 200m win in Lausanne
New Post has been published on https://thebiafrastar.com/diamond-league-noah-lyles-clocks-19-50-in-200m-win-in-lausanne/
Diamond League: Noah Lyles clocks 19.50 in 200m win in Lausanne
Noah Lyle’s time was the eighth best in history – Bolt has bettered it four times, Blake twice and Johnson once
Noah Lyles became the fourth fastest 200m runner of all time as he won the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne in a time of 19.50 seconds.
The 21-year-old’s time has only been bettered by fellow American Michael Johnson, Yohan Blake and world record holder Usain Bolt, both of Jamaica.
Lyles – who also has the second fastest 100m time this year at 9.86 – ran the fastest 200m race since Bolt won Olympic gold in London in 2012.
Justin Gatlin won the 100m in 9.92.
The 37-year-old world champion, one of six Americans in the race, beat compatriot Michael Rodgers into second, with Aaron Brown of Canada finishing third.
Asked if he expected to run so fast from lane seven, Lyles said: “Oh my God, would it be crazy if I said yes?.
“Really, it was all about the plan. Me and my coach have been working on that turn. I don’t know if we’ll be expecting something (at the worlds), I’ll just do what I do.”
Britain’sDina Asher-Smithclocked a season’s best 20.91 in the women’s 200m but finished second behind double Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica.
Asher-Smith, 23, finished ahead of Ivorian Marie-Josee Ta Lou and Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands, who won silver and gold respectively at the 2017 World Championships.
Overnight success
Niger have never won a medal in the World Championships – could Aminatou Seyni (r) break the duck?
Bahrain’s Salwa Eid Naser made it four 400m victories from as many Diamond League races this year but she was pushed all the way by Niger’sAminatou Seyni.
Naser won in 49.17, beating the previous Lausanne record of 49.45 set by France’s Marie-Jose Perec in 1996 – but Seyni was just behind in 49.19.
Seyni was a relative unknown just two weeks ago, but has since improved her personal best by one and a half seconds.
Her time was the second best by an African woman, and makes her the seventh-fastest woman this century.
“My race was very good,” said the 22-year-old.
Hagos Gebrhiwet of Ethiopia suffered an embarrassing mishap during the men’s 5,000m, crossing the line with his arms raised in celebration – but with a lap still remaining.
His compatriot Yomif Kejelcha took full advantage, showing little sympathy to win as Gebrhiwet was forced to settle for 10th.

I scrolled through the tags briefly and wanted to address some things. First isn't a screenshot bc I hate how big they appear on screen, I'll also break it up bc there were a lot of tags on that post. After that will be education!
#forgive me, i'm not educated on the topic #but i had thought intersex was like. physical traits. or. idk how to say it #sex characteristics abnormalities
Please don't call our variations abnormalities!
#if you were completely typical body-wise but still had out-of-ordinary chromosomes, are you intersex?
Yes, they can very much be
#i thought no, you just had weird chromosomes
Similar to the first thing I said
#like i doubt people were "discovering" they had unusual sex characteristics left and right #maybe i have my definition wrong my head [/end]
You do 🙃
Yes! You are remembering correctly, which brings us to what I was going to say, and I'm glad someone beat me to it (however, it took a lot of scrolling)
They haven't stopped!! Caster Seymana is just ONE of the modern athletes who have fought to compete.
Dutee Chand (well, she isn't black but is Indian, banned by the Indian Athletics Federation),
Margaret Wambui (2020 Olympics),
Francine Niyonsaba (800m '20 Olympics),
Barbra Banda (banned by Confederation of African Football),
Lin Yu-ting and Imane Khelif (Taiwanese and Algerian, banned by International Boxing Association), along with
Beatrice Masilingi and Aminatou Seyni and Christine Mboma (all 400m '20 Olympics)
have all faced a ban of some sort in one of their sports/events. You can read more about their stories [here], and I urge you to!
The point being, it is heavily skewed to punish non white participants. There isn't a white individual on this (modern) list
Context.
