They were already the Inner Senshi in the musicals from 2021 to 2022. Tuxedo Mask has played the role since 2018 and has been with Sera Myu since 2014. Sayaka Okamura once again takes on the role of antagonist. Previously, she was Snow Princess Kaguya. Misato Matsumoto is one of the Luna puppeteer from the Nogizaka Musical. Her voice was also heard on Shining Moon Tokyo.

Girls arrive at the North Pole and come across the DD Girls. I never noticed the cuffs around the youmas sleeves until now.

Why aren't they fighting Kunzite? Oh right.... he is suddenly gone just like all the generals before him.

The scenery went from snow and ice to pavement and fire. Very interesting.

Sailor Jupiter was beaten first.

Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Mercury attack the other four youma but Mercury, Venus, and Mars fall.

Suddenly Queen Beryl is there, she has a giant caste in the background is on fire as Sailor Moon wipes a way a tear.

Where is Tuxedo Kamen? Prince Endymion? I guess he wasn't needed for the final battle and he magically disappeared when Kunzite did in the previous book.

Queen Beryl attacks and Princess Serenity thinks of her four fallen senshi. She doesn't think of Prince Endymion (who have never seen) or Tuxedo Kamen.

Princess Serenity draws from the power of the four senshi and they are able to defeat Queen Beryl.

The end of the first season of Sailor Moon.

On the subject of Sailor Mercury, do you have any thoughts on Dark Mercury??? I rarely get to see anybody talk about her, so I thought I'd ask

I really like the concept! In general, I really love how Ami's character is expanded on in PGSM. Honestly, watching PGSM way back when made me went from being "eh, she's fine" about Ami to actively liking and enjoying her character. I really do think PGSM is her best iteration.

But yeah, having Ami have her feelings of loneliness, inadequacy, and fragile feelings about the Senshi really being her friends (due to her friendless background) be twisted by the Dark Kingdom to turn her into Dark Mercury is a cool concept and part of what I love about PGSM's expansion on the first arc.

getting to know Usagi, make them return to the bright side of the cosmos, where they will go through a redemption arc. We know their names, homes and families, from their second life. They will be important, especially in the dream arc, where the bad guys want the golden crystal. And not leave them turned into stones.

The Amazoness Quartet instead of No longer evil? Now they belong to you! Set and reset to sleep mode. How about we take the anime version from the 90s, where they were girls who lived in Elysion but were afraid to grow up, and go deeper. Why were they in Elysion? And why were they afraid to grow up?

How about this: The Amazoness Quartet was supposed to be the junior version or the Sailor Senshi assistants in the silver millennium, but unlike their sempai, these girls did not want to be child soldiers, screaming and kicking in every training or lesson. Their mentors, instead of understanding that the Amazoness Quartet simply wanted to live their childhood as normal children instead of training to be future soldiers, stressed to them every second that they should grow up to become Sailor Senshi and fulfill their duty. If basically they repeated the same atrocious upbringing cycle that they suffered. This caused a fear of growing up in the Amazoness Quartet that Nehelenia would later exploit. Someone would take these poor children (It could be Endymion or any of the Shitennou), and take them to Earth to be normal children, but with the tensions between both kingdoms increasing. The Amazoness Quartet, was sent to Elysion until things calmed down but that never happened. Then Nehelenia appeared, and well they joined the Dead Moon Circus, they did mischief but Chibiusa reprimanded them for their bad deeds, pointing out that they were doing exactly what they feared most, serving a Queen of the Moon for shady purposes, except that Nehelenia is really evil. The Amazoness Quartet has a Heel Realization, they awaken their Sailor Senshi powers because of their desire to atone for their mistakes. In the end they travel to the future with Chibiusa because they want to be a Sailor Senshi like her. And in the final arc they return as a team, they are not Sailor ChibiMoon's protectors, but they accept her as their leader because they admire and respect her.

Each Important Character comes with a set of four Accessory Characters. Now in one of three sets! 1) Senshi: Your devoted Friends (TM) whose lives revolve around yours through multiple incarnations, even when you ignore them. Will not steal any precious narrative attention. 2) Amazoness Quartet: No longer evil? Now they belong to you! Usagi and Ami aren't wasting time investigating the 6pm bus.

They come across Rei at the shrine and Rei attacks Usagi with an ofuda.

Rei apologizes. Luna notices power coming from Rei. Jadeite shows up with tea.

Jadeite gathers the energy he collected from charms. Rei confronts Jadeite.

Usagi transform into a flight attendant before running onto the bus with Ami and Luna. Ami and Luna were never on the bus in the anime. In the anime she somehow prayed with her wand and it lead a path of light that was used by Tuxedo Kamen to drive the bus back. Oh wait. #mamoru chiba is missing. Well in this case Tuxedo Kamen, but same thing.

Youma appears to attack Rei. Usagi and Ami transform.

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury attack the youma while Luna tosses Rei her transformation pen.

Sailor Mars attacks along with Sailor Moon's tiara and they stop the youma. They are now instant best buddies to fight evil and Luna is happy in Mars' arms this time.
