Do I still get weird lag spikes and frame drops? Yeah. Did I still drop to 10-12 fps during part of the pink fog section of the Moorland championship? Yeah. Was my FPS steady? Not really.

BUT.

In most areas of the game where I hung out (excluding Starshine Ranch which is still a little more laggy), the game ran at a NEAR CONSTANT 25-35fps.

I haven't seen a number in the 30s (and rarely even in the high 20s, unless I was standing still) at ANY point since the FPS counter dropped. To be RUNNING AROUND and have the game go at an okay-steady 35, occasionally dropping to the mid-20s, feels INSANE. I cannot even fathom what this feels/will feel like to people on higher end machines - I've got a shitty shitty laptop (amd ryzen 3 3250u with integrated radeon vega graphics in case anyone feels curious about just HOW shitty). If I can do above 30 on this thing... yeah holy fuck
