Ik Johnny Flynn's music is the stereotypical archaeology music but the way he writes does something to me that I cant explain
#i found out yesterday that his music is being used on Dig for Britain and it fits so well#but also like the way he writes about the overlap between the past and present is so visceral#amd the poetic nature of his music has had me in its grasp since he released raising the dead#i have never felt music in my bones and in the creation of my being like i have a lot of his stuff.#i dont even know why because i dont like a huge amount of his stuff#but the stuff i do#i cant stop listening to#and its been like 5 years
