you're like the only person i'm really comfortable talking about amazigh mythology with (most of the time i feel like a crazy idiot) so here i am to throw at you gift you a tarenza drawing (anzar's wife) ^__^ i hate how we know nothing about her personality when the myth is literally named "anzar's bride" :/ all we know is that she's a rainbow goddess

She looks STUNNING !!! Also youre so right the biggest strugle in mythology is that some characters are heavily not documented especially women's personality

Just wrapped up this DUNE painting! Reverend Mother Jessica Atreides and the Water of Life.

This is my second interpretation of this iconic character. The first version just felt off and less exciting than the rest of the series. For a character with such a significance in the story I decided to go back to the drawing board and redo it from scratch.

The Al Jazirah family meets the King of Jerusalem

I finally sorta finished this art for chapter IV of my Baldwin story. This is the moment before Lluna sees him and her father Al Mualim realizes he’s there behind 🗿🧍🏼‍♂️/it’s not really finished as Lluna’s veil has constellations and I didn’t add them here yet

Did most of it without reference even though I’m really not used to painting scenes like this. Al Mualim is the only one I used a solid reference for (minus for the face, which I drew separately according to his appearance in my imagination) because I found a still from a show or something that was perfect for this composition, with the letter and everything.

2023 was a year of growth and chaos for me.

Unfortunately, the chaos was quite hard to handle, therefore i needed any kind of break life could offer. "No activity on social media" was my safe way (among others) and thankfully, I have quite the experience in being a ghost on the internet.

Hence, after some time i return in 2024 with renewed energy and a some late 2023 illustration !
