It is! Matter of fact from 19 through to 41 is all Bird-people AUs I went in DEEP with that concept (which is why we now also have original fic Edifice Coulee floating around as well)

Number 33 is: the Baby Phoenix AU!

So this one was actually inspired by another fanfic I read that was based on the concept of yeah Tadashi is phoenix-adjacent and the SFIT fire just reset him, but for the life of me I can't find that fic now (anyone recognize it?). Me reading that: yes but go full birb.

The end result is Hiro and company doing their best to raise a bird-kid that they don't yet realize is Tadashi (and honestly Tadashi doesn't either) while Sycorax (the one responsible, of course) is active throughout season 1 as well. Aunt Cass also finds out about Big Hero 6 way early on in this because of also finding out about bird-kid Dashi, she is simultaneously proud of her kids while also griping about stress-eating.

Honestly it's one of the really out-there AUs and I'm not certain if it'll ever get to a point where it'll get posted but it's definitely on the list of pick at working on this when I'm feeling cozy.

I was talking with a few friends on discord and @amalgamoffaces told me about their hypothesis that makes so much sense!!!"For one, it's one of the strongest [demons], which tracks. For another, since all activation phrases are anagrams of the demon names (yes we know towa is skilled enough to go without), Towa's laughter "fufu" is amusingly similar. But the main thing is: "Furfur causes love, creates storms, tempests, thunder, lightning, and teaches on secret and divine things"."

So I realized a thing...

All of the ghoul's incantations are scrambled versions of a demon belonging to the Lesser Key of Solomon.

11. How do you come up with your fic titles?

Okay, but really, a lot of my fic titles have been ideas from friends (shoutout to Beeps). But some of them I’ll start thinking like “hmm what word sounds like this that I can turn into a fic title” which is how “He’ll Rockruff Your World” came about, or I’ll take something that happened in the fic and slap that in as a title, like how “the glow of the arcade” spawned “Arcade Glow” and all. And sometimes I’ll come up with an actual good idea with no idea how I got there! But yeah, a lot of song lyrics/lyric inspired titles.

26. What’s your biggest distraction when writing?

Currently either the source material or other people’s fics. Two examples from the past week: I went to write Jasvando, figured I could read a quick fic to get ahold of their personalities and suddenly it was 2 am and I had just finished reading a 31k fic. I have another fic that takes place in Phnom Nonh, so I popped on over to take a look at what the shops have, next thing I know I’m going through every building reading all the books and finding all the treasure I had left behind. Have you ever looked at Da and Son’s bookshelf? Heartbreaking.

44. Rant about something writing related.

How is it so easy for me to write fanfic but so hard for me to work on my original story??? Like, holy shit. I have a whole entire world, a plot, locations, characters, everything! And somehow whenever I sit down to write it I end up writing some fanfic instead! Nikolas and Alia and Jesse and Eleum and Natalie are right there, and I just can’t work with them! It drives me nuts!

1.Who is the early bird/ Who is the night owl?

Actually Mary for both! Seto gets up and goes to bed at a reasonable hour but Mary likes watching the sun rise and stays up late reading.

2. Who is the big spoon/ Who is the little spoon?

Mary is the little spoon and she loves it because Seto’s warm (even if he does like playing with her hair a lot). 

3. Who hogs the cover/ Who loves to cuddle?

Mary loves to cuddle but she’s also freezing cold so Seto will just end up making a blanket barrier until Mary inevitably burrows her way in.

5. Who usually has nightmares?

Seto has some hella bad dreams but Mary has awful nightmares (seeing your mom and all of your friends repeatedly die in front of you does not make for sweet dreams, even if she doesn’t remember it all) 

7. Who sweats the small stuff?

Seto without a doubt!

11. Who likes horror movies/ Who likes romance movies?

Neither of them can stand gory horror films but the cheesy atmospheric ones are the ones that Seto really doesn’t mind. Mary loves romances (we all know what type) but sometimes prefers the Disney™romance.

13. Who is considered the scaredy cat?

They both sort of are, but where as Seto’s a jumpy scaredy cat, Mary shrieks and goes to hit what scares her.

17. Who works/ Who stays at home?

Seto works at a flower shop and Mary makes small fake flowers. They’d love to work together but at the end of the day she’s too nervous of seeing so many people. Seto’s fine with this as long as she’s happy.

19. Who loves to call the other one cute names?

Seto’s all for the cute name calling, Mary loves to kiss his cheek and call him frog boy. just because he stopped wearing it doesn’t mean she’s forgotten

Seto planned longer, but Mary got her courage up first.

You don’t live 100 yeasr by yourself without learning some survival skills, so Mary’s got Seto beat there by a margin.

Regarding the note, what if some other group or entity (like the woman with the sword that can cut through the black rocks) frees Quirin and all that is left behind is the note?

Hmm, that’s a possibility!

Frederic said he wasn’t going to stop trying to free Quirin towards the end of TSOTS, so I think the woman just freeing Quirin right off the bat isn’t going to happen.

But do you mean to say that said second party would free Quirin, but then take him prisoner? Or if, perhaps, the cult or whatever with the comet on their hands frees him, then nourishes him back to health or whatever? Hmm, that would be interesting! If Frederic, say, brought Xavier to try to figure out what to do, and the amber was broken and Quirin was gone, but the note was left behind!

Seriously. Bond of Souls is AWESOME and they singlehandedly piloted and staffed a really neat ship. (I am part of the staff now. Also do you...pilot...ships....) aaaaand I am struggling for a three. Hm!

GUYS LOOK, I finally finished the animatic I wanted to make (after abandoning it multiple times, heh)! Obviously my first animatic had to be about Varian and I absolutely love the moon!Varian theory so here is the result, I hope you like it😊.
