Fluff Headcanon: Suitor reacts to MC/reader telling them she's pregnant

Hideyoshi

He had been worried about you. You’d been feeling ill lately and now all day you had been acting odd. He could tell there was something you had on your mind, but he couldn’t tell what. He was surprised when he returned to your shared room to see you having a nice dinner waiting and a big smile on your face.

“What’s all this?” He asked, coming to sit down beside you. “Are you feeling alright?” He was placing a hand to your forehead, checking your temperature.

You smile. “I’m fine, Hideyoshi. More than fine actually.” You answer. “That’s actually what this dinner is about.”

“What do you mean?” Hideyoshi asked.

“Well, I went to see the castle doctor about my symptoms today…and after an exam, he figured out what’s going on.”

“Yeah, what did he say?”

“I’m…pregnant!” You exclaim a bright smile on your face.

Hideyoshi’s eyes widen. “Y-you…we’re…” A big smile then break across his face as he pulls you into his arms, holding you to his chest. “That’s wonderful news!”

You grin as you return the hug. “You’re gonna be such a good father.” You say, looking up at him.

“You’re going to be such a good mother.” He replies before pulling you in for a deep, loving kiss. “I love you so much…thank you.” He tells you when you broke the kiss.

You smile. “I love you, too…and thank you, Hideyoshi.”

“You’ve really made me the happiest man in the world. I am so lucky. I can’t wait to share this with you.” Hideyoshi said, still smiling so brightly. “I love you…both of you so much.” He kisses you again and rests a hand over your belly. He never imagined this kind of happiness for his life, but then you came along. And now you were giving him this new gift…his heart was overflowing with happiness.

He couldn’t wait to welcome this baby with you. He also planned on spoiling and pampering you your entire pregnancy.

Yukimura…

Yukimura could tell something was different with you.You had been in a strange mood recently. You’d been humming and working on some secretive sewing project, a gentle smile on your face. When he asked you what was up, you just told him it was just a special commission.

It had been bugging him. He also noticed Muramasa was acting weird around you. More protective and constantly laying his head in your lap and resting it gently against your belly. He’d gotten so frustrated by it all, he was going to Shingen and asking his advice. As soon as he’d described everything to Shingen, a knowing smile had come to his lord’s face.

“I think you should just wait for her to tell you.” Shingen told him. “I am sure you will be happy with what she has to tell you.” Shingen then shoos Yukimura from his room as he wants to start on his own secret projects and looking forward to being called grandpa.

After what feels like forever to Yukimura, he finally corners you in your room before you even have the chance to hide the sewing project. “What are you hiding?” He asks, blunt as ever, as he reaches for your sewing project.

You sigh as you let him take it from your hands. “It’s not finished yet…”

Yukimura holds up the cloth and notices it’s the tiniest kimono he’d ever seen. “What…why are you making something so tiny?”

You frown as you look at him. “It’s…for the baby.”

“Baby? Is one of the other seamstresses having a baby?”

“Look on the back.” You tell him.

Yukimura turns the tiny kimono around and notices the Sanada crest on the back. “What…why…”

“I’M pregnant, dummy.”

Yukimura blinks. He looks between you and the little kimono he is holding. “Y-you…are pregnant?”

You nod. “Yes. I WAS TRYING to surprise you. I wanted to finish that and give it to you at dinner tonight.” You tell him, pouting.

Yukimura sinks to his knees beside you. “I…I’m gonna be a father…” He mutters in disbelief.

You look at him, worry eating at you and causing you to chew on your bottom lip. “Are… are you not happy?” You ask, almost hesitantly.

Yukimura looks at you, his eyes wide. It’s then that his mind catches up to his actions. He gently sets the baby clothing aside and then reaches for you, wrapping his arms around you and crushing you to his chest. “I’m such an idiot.” He mutters, kissing the top of your head. “Of course, I’m happy. I was just…surprised. I wasn’t expecting it.”

You laugh and hug him back. “You can’t be THAT surprised. I mean…you DO know what makes babies right? Pretty sure Shingen gave you that talk a while ago, right?” You tease him.

Yukimura’s cheeks redden. “I KNOW that..and how could I forget THAT talk…” He replies. “I just meant… we weren’t trying or anything…”

“Certainly weren’t preventing.” You remark.

Yukimura sighs and then pulls back slightly so he can look into your eyes. He has a big smile on his face. “I’m happy. Really happy…maybe a little scared, too…I mean…ME a father?”

“I think you’ll be a good one.” You tell him.

Yukimura smiles. “With you at my side, I think I can be.” He tells you. He then pulls you in for a kiss. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

Yukimura then leans down and kisses your belly. “And I love you, too. I promise, I’ll be the best father for you.”

You can’t help but to let out a little delighted squeal.

Yukimura looks up at you. “What the hell was that?”

“What? You were just being so cute!” You tell him.

Yukimura’s cheeks redden and he looks away bashfully. “You’re the cute one…dummy.” He’s then pulling you back into a hug so you can’t see his blushing cheeks.

You can’t help but to smile, happy to start this next adventure with the one you love. He’s so happy he can’t stand it. He never knew he could be this happy and scared at the same time. But it was all thanks to you and he was looking forward to having a family with you.

Remember, most animals eat plants and grass... then they are consumed/eaten by predatory animals. Originally, Christ comes from the word Christos (crystalline consciousness and genetics/enLightened consciousness). It is a level, state or degree of an awakened consciousness. Christ, the sun and your consciousness are all intertwined. This is the reason why most gods, gurus and saints have sun-like halos/disks above their heads. But that's another long topic.

I'm not really supposed to include this but, just to end confusion from people, I'll include some more info on Jesus, the one they called "The Christ."

There were actually two versions of Jesus Christ.

There was an actual man named Yeshuah (Jesus in English translation) and he was associated with the Essenes. This Jesus was similar to the Buddha who became spiritually enLIGHTened. He was an ascended spiritual master. The ancient authors later altered and intertwined his story with the previous SUN gods before him and was veiled/hidden in symbols and metaphors. (There was a deep reason why they did this.)

If you wanna find out about his real story, try to research on "The Essenes and The Dead Sea Scrolls." Also, look for "The Nag Hammadi Scriptures" or "The Gospel of Thomas." These are the original and unaltered versions of his real story that was kept from the masses by the Elites and other secret societies.

The famous Dolores Cannon also wrote a lot about this Jesus. Here are two of the titles I know: "Jesus and The Essenes" and "They walked with Jesus."

He’s like you in being shy at first to initiate any kind of physical touch, but once he gets more comfortable around you, he won’t worry about cuddling with you. He’s not going to do any kind of pda, but when you guys are in private he’s totally cool with it (he might want it too honestly).

i think cuddling with hunter is mostly like. the normal cuddling? like. i mean. he likes it more when you're resting your head on his chest, lazily stroking your back or playing with your hair, he likes to kiss your head, the smell of your shampoo always grounds him.

sometimes you two have pillow talks, hushed words spoken and little laughs leave your lips.

it's in the dead of the night, in the silence filled with the hyperdrive, when he feels the most comfortable with you, where he spills a few secrets and things he never thought saying out loud.

even when he sleeps, his hold on you is tight, afraid you might slip away.

sometimes he closes his eyes, in a fruitless attempt of falling asleep because he can feel your eyes on him. he doesn't open them when he says,

"staring is considered impolite." it's a whisper, voice sounding rough and sending a shiver down your spine.

you smile, tracing the outline of his tattoo.

"I just happen to like my view." you murmur, the gentlest of smiles appearing in his face and you move just enough to kiss the spot where his tattoo ends in his jaw.

he hums.

"your view is trying to sleep." you laugh, a little sound you try to hush because you don't want to wake anyone. you know how light everyone's sleep is.

"be my guest, then." it is then, when he opens his eyes, finding yours a second after and even in the darkness, you can see how they shine with emotion.

"can't do if you're looking at me like that." you frown, a smile betraying your serious confusion. he kisses your forehead.

"you can't even see me."

"but I can feel you."

"how am I looking at you then, bandana?" your voice is a tease, and if it were any other moment he'd tell you to please, stop spending so much time with cid.

his response is delayed, as he tries to commit to memory how you look right then, in the faint light of the ship, and even then you look like glowing, he searches for something else too, something that might tell him he shouldn't say the next words, but then again, you're looking at him like that.

"like you love me."

you take a moment to process his words, cinnamon eyes anticipating your answer and when you give him a smile, he mimics the expression.

"it's because I do, silly."

I hope you have lots of time! I will not ramble about ducks, and obviously where I've been is secret. But! But I can talk about everyone's favorite topic! Cocoa! Because you will not believe all the things I learned about it last week! For unrelated reasons, of course!

Did you know that cocoa actually has a bunch of health benefits? I don't know about you guys, but I grew up thinking it was all unhealthy. I mean, I know it's the sugar that is in actual drinking chocolate but that's not the point, alright? Because cocoa reduces your chance of heart attacks and diabetes. Dark Chocolate is used for several diets even! It's not as unhealthy as one thinks it is. It also lowers blood pressure. And the trees are real badasses! Wait, does that mean you get being a badass from the trees? So cool! It takes them five years or so to grow actual cocoa beans. And it takes about 400 cocoa beans to make one pound of chocolate. But that's chocolate of course! I've been to a real chocolate factory once when- *clears throat* ONCE. And we got to taste cocoa beans! They were... very dusty. Like, they tasted dusty. Oh! Speaking of chocolate! Drink-chocolate, or - well. Cocoa. Existed before actual blocked chocolate. Christoph Columbus brought it over from the 'new world', who had this for a long time already. And yes! The actual Maya! And also - Cocoa powder, really normal stuff, has caffeine. In a journal about children's medicine of 1918, some German dude talks about how drinking it is worse than alcoholism, and how we should return to soup for breakfast. Boy am I glad we did not do that! Also, the 13th of December is international cocoa day. Should we celebrate? If so - how? I want to tell Alvina about it, but I haven't seen her all day. The door to her office is closed and I swear I heard her talking earlier. Weird. Maybe I should write all of this down and shove it under the door, you know, to make sure she knows I am back. In case me falling over the hallway chairs wasn't clear enough?
