This is just a little drabble I thought of cause I was bored in class, lolz. I haven't posted in a while ૮꒰ ˊᗜˋ ꒱ა I'm in college now, 1st year accountant student ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა ♡ so I don't have much free time like before, I think my writing skills have gotten rusty but I really wanted to post this since cour 3's out now.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ Jugram Haschwalth Headcannon, what if he started to fall for you? ⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
He's def the type to yearn, like really yearn when he starts to love someone. ᯓ★ ૮₍´˶• . •🎀₎ა
My reason to think so? His childhood, I feel like his shitty uncle would take away anything that he starts to show interest in because he's controlling like that. So kid Jugo would always hide his interests, always timid and apprehensive, just saying yes and doing what the adults want him to do.
The first thing that Jugo could call 'his' was his best friend, Bazz because his uncle died in the village fire soon after. He was free, he didn't need to hide anymore. But old habits like that die hard, Yhwach found him, and even though he wasn't as controlling as Jugo's shitty uncle, he was more dangerous, he could do more.
So even if he and Bazz didn't have that disagreement when Haschwalth got chosen instead of Bazz when they were kids, Haschwalth would have still distanced himself from his friend. Not because he didn't want to be friends anymore, but because he's the Quincy Grandmaster now, the King's second-in-command. Before, it would only be his uncle watching him like a hawk, now, the whole of Silbern (Wandenreich?) is observant of his every move. If he showed his favor to anyone, friend or whatknot, they would get targeted.
So in the end, Haschwalth never really stopped hiding.
Haschwalth is a yearner, he'd never admit to his feelings out loud. He's the silent type to love from afar, you'd never really know what he feels for you since he'd never utter a word. For your sake.

A Growing Family - Bazz x reader
Tumblr media
“Swinging back with another one- once again you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to! But whatever about Bazz and/or Sidon becoming fathers? Like if they got y/n pregnant? (I’m sorry I saw baby cribs in Target and I am FIGHTING the baby fever!)” - @rocklover719
target is a magical place, and i will always drop money on something i don’t need when i go in (except starbucks, because i work at a retail starbucks store and don’t want to spend money on something i can get for free lolll). but if i EVER find myself in the baby section, my boyfriend will say “no!” and drag me away. the baby fever is SO real right now, and i’m kinda glad i’m not alone in this :’)
i’ve written one for Sidon already, which you can find here! i actually forgot to add it to my masterlist (which i have since fixed), so i’m glad i caught it when you sent this request!! but i ABSOLUTELY had write one for Bazz! i hope you enjoy <3
(p.s.: sidon’s is really short compared to this, so maybe i should revisit it??)
i’ve tried to write this one as gender-neutral as possible, so everyone can enjoy, but that baby had to happen somehow, so it’s more female aligned.
y/n - your name
you found out you were bringing life into the world
you were excited
but also scared
you told Bazz over dinner
and it was nerve-racking
he almost choked on some hearty salmon when you did
“Wait, what?!”
he was overfilled with excitement to be starting a family with you
but he was also… extremely nervous
the both of you waited a few days to tell Seggin
and once you did, it finally set in
you were going to be parents
once you gave the okay, Bazz told the members of the guard
and they all congratulated you both
and though 9 months is a long time
he was already making plans of who to leave in charge when the baby is born
ultimately, he chose Sidon, though he wasn’t really a part of the Zora Guard
Sidon was more than happy to be adding on this duty to his princely responsibilities
and he was ECSTATIC that you two were becoming parents
“This is SO exciting! I’m so happy for you both!”
Bazz does so much research
he’s reading books on parenting
and he asks all the parents for tips
he even goes to the children and asks what they like to do with their parents
just so he knows that his child will be having fun
he’s a nervous wreck honestly
and he’s trying to keep calm for your sake
because you getting too stressed could be a dangerous thing
after a few months, your morning sickness kicks in
and Bazz is a mess
he hates seeing you feeling so terrible
and once your mood swings set in, he’s sure to help in anyway he can
he’s so supportive
and he knows exactly how to make you feel better when your mood swings hit hard
he decided to take leave about 2 weeks before your due date
just incase
and when you go into labor, he starts freaking out
he’s frantic
and so so scared
and you absolutely have to calm him down
“Bazz, I can promise you everything will be fine.”
he’s by your side the entire time
and he’s so good at keeping your mood up
but eventually you get scared
“Y/n, you can do this! You can do it! We’re gonna have a baby today!”
the moment you give birth, Bazz is SOBBING
he’s so so proud of you
and he’s falling in love all over again with not only you
but also your child
the moment he holds them, he’s awestruck
“We made this!”
he’s so on top of taking care of you and the baby
and after watching you go through so much in the span of 9-10 months, he just wants you to rest and take it easy
when he goes back to work, he’ll sometimes take the baby so you can relax
but only if he’s overseeing his guard members and giving them their tasks
and he’d making sure the Zora Guard members aren’t being too loud when he ends up bringing the baby
“Guys, I’m so sorry, but could you please keep it down? The baby is sleeping.”
Bazz tells TONS of stories to your child
and even if they can’t understand them yet
watching Bazz with the baby makes your heart melt
he can’t wait to watch your child grow up
though neither of you want that just yet
but he’s so glad to be on this journey with you
and he’s so happy to see his little family growing

so funny idea; say there’s an au where the quincies are gamers, and they be playing in a whole minecraft server. elsa would definitely be the sneaky little shit stealing from everyone, specifically bazz. but also when bazz runs out of cool shit for her to steal, she’d totally burn his minecraft house to the ground. @bazzardburner

A Proposal Gone Awry
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | AO3
Summary: Link has been touring the breadth and width of Hyrule to clear out the remaining monster camps, and soon enough, he reaches Zora’s Domain. Mipha asks him to wait before he heads back to the castle, which he was intending on doing... but some mischievous children may have other plans.
Part 4 (Final)
Mipha floated in the pool, the water cascading in gentle waves over her prone form.
It was the fifth time she had left her own private pools after a prolonged period of recovery. She waded her way through a sea of guilt, shame, mortification, longing, pining and despair. Heartbreak was a painful thing, and it was a shame her Grace couldn’t heal it. Still, her time in almost near seclusion had helped her to come to several key realisations, which she could freely admit after the initial torment and hurricane of emotions drifted into colder water.
Number 1: She realised how much she had fooled herself.
Really, she had never even talked to Link about her feelings, planning to use the armour as her segue on the topic. An armour given at an engagement! What had she been thinking? How had she deluded herself into it?
Number 2: The answer was that she was simply too scared. Too terrified to ever voice her affection for him. And it had all backfired so spectacularly. There were so many signs that she had, simply put, ignored. All the way from Link saving Zelda during their journey, to finding out who they really were: soulmates bound through all of time and fated to be together. Her cheeks coloured, from thinking of all of the ridiculous explanations she had made up in order to continue living in a fantasy she had constructed in her mind.
Number 3: All of this could have been avoided, if she had talked to him properly.
Still, it was too late to regret it now, but with hindsight, she should have done everything differently from the start. She could have saved herself so much pain. The only saving grace she had was that Link thankfully had no idea what was going on. She didn’t even want to consider what would have happened had he realised.
The flow of the water changed, and Mipha instinctively looked up, as Bazz walked in, holding a bloom of Blue Nightshades in his hands. Every day since she had returned from the castle, he came carrying a small bundle of flowers as an apology. He had noticed how reclusive she had become, and the blanket of sadness that covered her like waves covered the ocean. She had reassured him multiple times she wasn’t sad because of his little stunt, and he didn’t need to bring flowers, but the poor boy had taken it to heart.
He had even brought the whole gang over on the first day that she had left her rooms, each of them bearing a gift. Bazz himself had brought her purple hyacinths, which apparently “symbo-bolises forgive-ness”. Gaddison had polished her treasured Lightscale Trident, something which Mipha hadn’t held for over two months. It had felt so good to wield it in her hands again. Rivan had given her a hearty blue snail, whilst Sidon had given her a huge hug, and a pendant that had Vah Ruta engraved into it. She knew her father must have helped him, but she still appreciated the effort he had put in. Once she had hugged him, he had softly whispered in her ear that she was his Hero, and he wanted her to smile again, like this, and he had given her the best gift of all- his trademark smile and pose.
It had made her feel comforted and helped her realise that she had a family here. She had responsibilities. She couldn’t just hide away from the world because she didn’t have the courage to talk to the man she loved, and now he had been taken away.
She was Mipha, Princess of the Zora, a daughter, a sister, a warrior. Yes, Link had played a large part in her motivations. She had always wanted to protect him, ultimately. First by healing his wounds, then by fighting the lynel with him, to finally creating an armour containing a piece of herself. But what she had failed to realise then, and she understood now, was that it wasn’t just all for Link. It was for her Domain, for her people who she would eventually rule over.
After that fourth realisation, it became easier to ease herself out of her rooms. To slowly begin to partake in the council meetings. To swim in her home’s beautiful waterfalls. To allow herself to heal.
She smiled as Bazz shuffled closer, his sword still scrapping the floor with every other step. He held out the peonies he had gathered today, and this time pressed a letter into her hand. She raised an eyebrow, but he didn’t say anything, just shrugged. She flipped it open, and it was about an event at the Flight Range. She read, and reread the short brief,
To all the children in Hyrule,
I, the Great Revali, Champion of the Rito, will be offering free lessons in the all-important field of archery.
Should you want to participate, convince your parents/guardians to bring you this Saturday to the Flight Range.
Teenagers are welcome on the following day and for those who do not possess this basic knowledge, I mean Sunday.
Remember that if you do come, I will expect nothing less of excellence, or at least, the maximal effort to be demonstrated until you achieve said excellence.
Master Revali, Champion of the Rito
Well, she never would have guessed Revali liked children. Or indeed teaching. He… well, she wouldn’t say he was the most patient of the Champions. Still, it was good of him to do… probably. She wasn’t sure he would have many students left after the first session.
But why had Bazz given this to her….? She got her answer when she looked up to Bazz’s huge, silently pleading eyes. She sighed. The children had done a lot for her these past few months. It was the least she could do to supervise them on a short trip. It was highly likely Revali would scare them all away, if she was being honest, which would be the main reason she wouldn’t want to bring them. Still, if they wanted to go, then she would accompany them. It was only right she gave back a little of what they’ve given her.
She smiled as she heard Bazz screaming to the other three and lifted herself out of the pool. She was out of practise with her spear, and she was certain Revali would notice. Not that she cared for his crass comments, especially considering what she had gone through these past two months… but she was still competitive and just in case he asked her to practise like they once used to, she needed to make sure she wouldn’t fail within the first minute.
The children squabbled together on the swim to the Rito Village. They were excited for their first time out exploring Hyrule, and she had to remain vigilant if any one of them decided to pop up for air and sit on the bank to appreciate the views. Whilst she did understand how shockingly green the world must appear to them when compared to the Domain, there were still monsters around, and these children were all her responsibility.
Soon enough they arrived, threaded in amongst the throng of people present in the Flight Range. Revali was at the entrance, by a giant board of names. He held the chalk in his hands as he wrote down the name of each child at a specific time slot, before directing them towards the bonfire that was burning in order to stay warm. From what she could make out, around half of the slots were filled, with lessons starting at 1 pm. As this was the sign up session, no one had been assigned into classes yet. She assumed it would be dependent on the numbers that turned up today…
She made sure the children were organised in file row by age, with the eldest first, (Gaddison, Bazz, Rivan and Sidon) before she approached Revali.
He merely nodded at her, wrote down the four names and directed her in much the same way as everyone else. Well, she wasn’t expecting favouritism, but surely in light of their history he could- wait- actually… What did she want him to do? She had only had a few training sessions with Revali, and aside from the battles they had fought together, she had rarely interacted with him. He didn’t tend to stay for the informal sessions they had as Champions, and, as he rubbed a lot of their group the wrong way, she had never paid much attention as to why that was.
She only smiled, asked if he needed any help, “No thank you, Mipha. Just head to the bonfire.” And Mipha understood his curt dismissal. He looked stressed, and she wouldn’t want to exacerbate that.
After a couple of hours, it was the Zora children’s turn. All of them headed off towards the Flight Range, were given basic instructions in how a bow works by Revali, and a brief guide into using a paraglider as an emergency safety check. The main benefit of practising at the Flight Range was that even if they slipped, or lost control, the wind was so strong it would buffet them in the air until Revali himself would pick them up. Anyway, no one would be flying out unless they fell; the first lessons would take place on the deck whilst aiming at the target just across.
Mipha was not afraid of anything going wrong. She trusted Revali. Despite their differences, Revali would never let any of one of them down.
Gaddison did the best, she adapted well to the new weapon, a swallow bow, managing to hit the inner turquoise ring after five arrow shots, whilst Bazz came in second hitting it after eight. Rivan managed in twelve, and Sidon could only hit the outside ring. He was perhaps too small for this sort of venture. Mipha understood his need to participate though; she knew he really wanted to be accepted into Bazz’s brigade, and she wouldn’t stop him from trying to fit in.
Whilst the children were firing at the target, she came to stand by Revali. He was intently focussed, but she thought she could perhaps try to get him to relax a little.
“This is a really good thing you’re doing Revali… training the next generation of potential archers.”
He fixed his emerald eyes on her, funny, how she had never noticed the startling colour before, “Well thank you, Mipha. Not all of us are handed our legacies. I have to make my own.”
She paused… hesitated a little as she thought over what he meant. It was true: she had never realised but all of the other Champions were in positions of power. She was a Princess, Urbosa was Chief of the Gerudo, Daruk was Chief of the Gorons. Zelda was Princess of Hyrule, and Link was Captain of her Royal Guard team. Except for Revali. His only title was Champion… “Perhaps that is a good thing. Self-made legacies are the ones that people remember the most.” He didn’t reply, so she asked another question. “How did you come up with the idea of making the Flight Range a training centre?”
He wrapped both arms around his chest, which she read as a little defensive, “Teba. His son, Tulin, trains here. Well. I guess I should say, ‘will’ train here.” He shook his head, “Anyway, I also don’t want to be remembered solely by the Rito for having trained Rito warriors. I want this to be an endeavour that spans across Hyrule. Archery is just as, if not more, important than simple swordplay.”
Ah. There it was. She wisely chose not to say anything else on the matter, “It’s an admirable aim, Revali. And from the volume of people here… I’d say you are in a good position.”
He merely shrugged. “It’s only the first session, Mipha. It would be foolish to assume the same pattern for the future.” He hesitated, looked at her ornamental silver again, before his gaze flickered away onto the children. He cleared his throat, risked another glance at her, before speedily asking, “Why did you change your armour?”
She was about to respond to his initial statement actually, to reassure him that it would work, and that he was a Champion which would undoubtedly make people want their children to be taught by him, but he had caught her completely off-guard. “What do you mean?”
He jabbed a feather at her clasp. “That never used to be there.”
Oh Goddesses. How would she explain such a thing? How had he even noticed such a small difference? “Well, one of the scales needed to go. It happens sometimes.” There. That wasn’t a lie. Technically, the scale had to go, and it didn’t happen often obviously, but she wouldn’t have to explain the ins and outs.
He paused, just for a second, before continuing on, “Is it susceptible to attack?”
“Well, yes-”
He jutted in, “Would you like to train then? It’s important to maintain your defence. Especially with such a pronounced wound that anyone could take advantage of.”
She did not mention the wound was, in fact, sealed completely by the clasp. But she appreciated his offer. It had been so long since she had properly trained with a Champion. And… now actually, she could remember him doing the same thing at the ball. Had he spotted it from then? Had he wanted to ask if she was okay from then? Had he wanted to train… to help her better defend herself from then? She wasn’t sure why she found that surprising, but it felt good to know he cared. “Okay.”
“Monday evening… at the Domain, for your convenience?”
She nodded, and with that, it was the end of the children’s turn. She established what time, exactly, on Monday evening, and invited Revali to come over for dinner. He hadn’t had a chance to visit the Domain properly in all the chaos of the Calamity, but there was no such rush now.
Mipha had a giant pile of things to do, and she tried her best to do it all quickly. First, she dropped the children back to their home familial pools, reassuring their parents that everyone had been well behaved. Then she informed her father that she had invited Revali to dinner so preparations could be made in time. Finally, she visited her Divine Beast, Vah Ruta... She paused at the entrance, smoothing her hand across the door. Ruta was pleased to see her Champion back, and Mipha found herself falling back into her routine of caring: she gave Ruta good clean, and even ended up having a late-night bonding training session to attempt to prepare herself for Monday.
In all her haste to do it all, by the time she finally reached her pools, she was so tired she immediately blacked out.
It was only in the morning that she realised, for the first time that night, in the span of two months, she didn’t think of Link. Of her failed proposal. Of her shame and embarrassment at reading the whole situation so wrongly.
And she finally braved the courage to pull out the package that she hadn’t touched since that evening. She decided it was time to post it to Link. She wrote a short note about completing his armour set, and she didn’t mention anything else. By letting go of it, and subsequently of the feelings that were associated with it, Mipha finally felt lighter than she had for a long time.
She grabbed her Lightscale Trident, keen on getting some practise before Revali came. Who knows, maybe he could teach her some archery too. Whatever it was, she was keen to finally put her trident to some good use again. For the first time in two months, she had something to look forward to… a goal she could achieve.
Perhaps her proposal had gone awry… but it had given her a much needed wake up call.
She was more than a girl who loved a boy.
She was Mipha, Princess of the Zora, Champion of the Zora and of Vah Ruta, a warrior and healer that contributed to the destruction of the Calamity. She was Sidon’s hero, and it was time she lived up to it.
Mipha stepped forward, her Grace poised in her movements, bold, determined, and ready.

A Hero against his Own Will (Tumblr version)
This is a rewrite for the real one on AO3 that you can read under the same title
Chapter 1: Good Morning Hyrule
5:00 AM,
The cuccos outside the stable cackle, waking up Link from his little slumber. "GOOOOOOOOD MORNING LOCAL STABLLLLLE!!" He yawns, shaking wildly at first before finding himself in the stable.
The locals inside stare at him awkwardly, a couple chuckling as he was always like this every time he would take a rest at a stable.
"Good morning to you too, sunny boy." The clerk, Boon, greets him from the table. Link stands up and arches his back to fix himself, yawning as he does.
He grabs his bag full of crops and rupees before heading out to the front. Boon walks to the other side of the front desk, facing outside now.
"So what'll it be?" He asks Link, "I wanna take my horse, Epona." Link answers with a confident smile.
Epona and Link have been best friends since they met at the Ranch near Castles Town when Link was only 13.
Epona was a wild mare that was scared of Link and would run away from him when he got even 3 feet close to him. That was until he managed to play a song on an ocarina to calm Epona down.
The ranch luckily let Link take Epona as his own and for 3 years, they have never been separated from one another.
"Alright, we'll get Epona for you." Boon replies, whistling over to one of the locals to grab Link's wild best friend. The first local, Kerry, runs to the back, holding Epona's lead to guide her toward the front. After walking to the front, Link immediately mounts onto her and thanks Boon and Kerry for the assistance before telling Epona to hit the tracks.
Link looks toward the lone shrine on a mini island between the two bridges and sees the royal princess investigating it. The princess was always investigating these shrines all over Hyrule including the one that was in Hateno Village, his hometown.
The shrines have been randomly glowing at times but since Thursday, they haven't been lighting up.
He looks away quickly after she snaps at one of her Royal Guards and continues moving through Eagus Bridge, not wanting to be a random target of an angry princess.
The Hylian and his best friend stop by Goponga Village to make bread off his crops, greeting a lot of the Zoras in town like they were family. "Hey Link!" A familiar male Zora calls out from around the corner. Link looks to his left and sees his best friend, Bazz.
He mounts off and rushes to the Zora knight, hopping off a wooden plank and doing a midair handshake with him. After he drops back on land, Link and Bazz collide with their chests as a final sign of their signature handshake
"It's been 7 years, man; How's Hateno?" Bazz asks. Link shrugs while smiling, "It's doing great! I just need to sell at least 102 rupees worth of crops and then we'll head home. How are Rivan and Gad?" The tiny Hylian asks compared to Bazz
"They're finishing up their training real quick. I was assigned to watch over Goponga Village for the day so I should go home tonight." He answers.
Link hadn't been to Zora's Domain since his father's death where they would visit almost weekly to purchase fish for dinner. Every time they would visit, Link would always run around with the young Zoras and get himself wet from the puddles everywhere.
Last time Link and his father were in the Domain, Link would meet Sidon, the younger brother of the Zora Princess, Mipha. He and the small Zora would get themselves into some sort of mess, leading Mipha to be rushing for their safety no matter where she is. Now, Sidon must be a lot more like Link, right?
"I gotta sell these crops real quick, talk to you some time?" Link asks, raising his hand up for a show of goodbye. Bazz takes it and the two collide with their arms. "See you any time, Link!" He waves before walking the opposite direction, holding his Silverscale Spear.
Link turns to Epona and continues walking down the southern road, eyeing a customer. The Zora was waving for Link to stop, holding a few purple rupees. Link pulls Epona to the side and hops off with the hylian crops in his bag.
"How much for 5 sets sounds to you?" He asks. "I'll gladly take them for 150 rupees, Link!" She answers, giving Link the 3 purple rupees while he hands the crops to her, possibly all of them. "Thanks for the service!" The Zora smiles before walking back into her home.
Link mounts back onto Epona and leads her back out of town and together, they begin walking up north to venture out and get some rest.
8:48 PM, Woodland Stable
Link boards in Epona with help from one of the locals, Blake. "Your horse is in our care, Link. Come back here if you need anything else." The clerk, Tanto, reminds the teenager.
Link nods and walks to the cooking pot to make his dinner for the night: a pair of apples, Hyrule Herb he managed to grab all over Hyrule field without grabbing anyone's attention, and 2 hearty radish.
Without a second thought, he tosses all of the ingredients into the pot, splashing some of the boiling water right near him which he dodged in a nick of time. Link tossing all the ingredients for a meal at once has always been his chaotic way of cooking that always splashes a mess and he would always be met with criticism for nearly burning himself.
He takes a wooden spoon and stirs the materials around, being ready to take them out and crave his dinner. Another traveler named Noah sits next to him and watches his cooking.
"You seriously never change, Link." He teases him. Link shakes his head with a chuckle, taking each ingredient out and putting them onto his plate. "Noah, show me your way of cooking and let's see who's the crazier chef." He bets him.
The bigger traveler chuckles and takes out an apple and goat butter, carefully dropping the apple first and keeping the butter on a separate plate for his future meal. Then without hesitation, he dips his hand into the boiling pot and takes the apple out, putting it on the butter plate, spreading his greens around before melting the butter over the apple. “Bon appetit?”
”So who’s the crazy chef again?” Link counters, pointing his spoon at Noah’s boiled hand. “Hey, it’s not my fault my hands are somehow resistant to boiling water.” Noah shrugs, chuckling as he says it.
Ever since Link would visit the Woodland stable, there was a chance that Noah, his first customer to buy Link’s crops, would be at the stable either relaxing or cooking a meal.
“Come on, let’s eat inside.” Link gets up, nudging his head toward the stable before he walks in, sitting at the only table and leaving the empty chair for Noah.
“So Link, how’s Hateno coming along?” Noah asks right when he takes his seat and eats his buttered apple. “Pretty good as of tonight. I just sold all my crops to the folks in Goponga; they always seem like family ever since…” Link can’t get that imagery of the Bokoblins murdering his father out of his head again
”Hey! Get back inside, Link!” His father yelled, charging with his pitchfork right at the aggressive Golden Bokoblins.
That was the last time Link would ever see his father. 30 minutes later, his body was carried out by hylian soldiers, bloodied and a few of his organs were taken or bitten. Link couldn't believe it.
"Link, dear?" His closest neighbor, Drew, caught the young Hylian's broken response at the corpse of his father.
In a furious rage, Link shoved Drew and grabbed the pitchfork his father dropped and immediately stabbed 2 Bokoblins in the mouth, sticking his new spear into a tree before hearing another wave of those man bodied pigs.
Link pulled back, dropping the dead golds and running at the wave with his newly war cry, slitting 3 Bokoblins on the throats in a single spin and kicking the 4th one, forcing it to drop its Dragonbone club.
Link ditched his pitchfork and grabbed the club, constantly bashing the unarmed Bokoblin multiple times on the face, over and over and over, forcing blood and teeth out its mouth.
"LINK. STOP!" "LINK, THIS WON'T CHANGE WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FATHER!" Another local and Drew called out, the first local grabbing his arm while Drew Locked the arm in. The feral Link was struggling to get out, wanting to destroy that Bokoblin corpse even further.
"Link?" Noah snaps the teenager back into reality, startling Link and launching tears out his closed eyes. "S-sorry." He mutters, taking a quick bite out of his hearty greens.
"Hey man, look up." Link looks up at Noah, slicking his hair back to show his concern. "I know how you feel, we all know. If you need a comfort pillow to cry on if you're going through a crisis, you can rely on all of us here at the stable." He offers a handshake to the broken Link, to which he accepts and the two shake 'em before they pull each other into a collision.
Link and Noah yell in excitement of their handshake, laughing after they fall back to their seats.
As they finish their dinner, Link walks up to the front desk, ordering a soft bed for the night. Adventures will never not be fun for him; even when he's journeyed further away from home when rent is due at midnight in 2 days.
He drops his body onto the bed, feeling a bit drowsy not even a minute after lying down. Good night to you too, Link.

i vagued about that several times, but i wanted to make a post alone bc i never actually dove into it i believe? im not really familiar with the emotion of anger since im rather irrational unlike bazz who... is just so familiar with it, anger, frustration or even hatred, he’s is good at keeping it silent or express it with a smile to not loose it... too good actually... bazz had unfortunately a lot of experience which left him scarred, traumatized, and he’s not the type to express his pain via melancholia but rather anger and his actions shows it pretty well.. and the thing is, its not out of pettiness, his anger is pretty rational, i can even call it determination, not a healthy one, but still rational
as a kid, he lost everything, i mean, literally... his parents, his home, basically everything that attached him to that life, the only thing.. or well, person left was jugram, who was his only friend back then (and ever was somehow), when he witness his home being burned down, he didnt cry or felt heartbroken like a child would, he was devastated yes, but to him mourning or coping wouldnt fix his loss, he took the path of revenge, the debt to his pain can only be repaid by punishing the one to blame, yhwach

so he trained, he trained day and night for 5 long years, he didnt just throw himself on yhwach to avenge his past out of hatred bc bazz is good at managing it, but he cant let go.. this is what i meant by determination, he couldnt let go what yhwach took from him after a year a two, the time he made a new life with jugram, his pain wont close until that man dies by his hands. (and obviously, its not heathly) and while i think he’s rational to feel that hatred, he shouldnt have let him consume him this much bc this is what made him even more broken
Tumblr media
in FRIEND 3, he desperately tries to get yhwach’s attention, bc this is it, this is the endgame for him to finally live free, but what happens instead? he not only wasnt able to kill him but this time he truly looses everything and by the SAME person, yet, bazz doesnt wanna kill yhwach anymore after that... bazz' revenge was wanting to kill yhwach bc he took his everything back then, he did it again even there, but that second time seemed to scar him even deeper, not bc he has grown up (so his feelings are more developed as a teenager unlike a kid) but bc his everything had more value...
its jugram
Tumblr media
you can tell, you can tell how one scarred more than the other, the day he lost his home, he was able to get up and say what he was going to do next, with determination and certainty, where here, in FRIEND3, we see his face in dismal but nothing after that bc it didnt get better, he got so hurt he didnt even try to convince jugram to come back, he was too broken for that... now he has nothing, not even a shoulder to lay on, just himself and an empty heart... with a small flame...
unlike his first loss, yhwach didnt take jugram’s life, he took him away from bazz, which explains why bazz didnt target yhwach, he thinks jugram left him rather than he was taken away/kidnapped, and that’s a big factor bc this is why bazz’ hatred is now aimed to jugram, he thinks he deliberately left him, for power or even to hurt him (bazz wont think of jugram’s feeling when he left him, he really believes he did it for selfish reasons)
so for 3 long lonely years, he wasnt thinking about joining back the army to be the strongest quincy like his kid self was dreaming about, he didnt join to become close to yhwach in order to kill him, he did it because of jugram... that hatred i mentionned earlier isnt toward jugram himself, its toward what he became, he doesnt like “that jugram”, he hates it so much he constantly wants to fight it but never with the intent to kill and you can tell by how he provokes him, and still listen to him by not pushing it
Tumblr media
some would think his hatred toward him irrational or unfair, but its not, its totally rational he feels like that, he shouldnt feel like that if he wanted things to change ofc, but he cant step back and recognize his own mistake bc he doesnt think he made any.. HE was the one left behind, HE was the one who was supposed to be yhwach’s right hand bc HE was the one who lost everything... he was the protagonist of his own story and jugram kinda stole it... but i digress
what i wanted to say is, his hatred, that rage, he is capable to contain it and control it so well, he doesnt lash out in a violent way on jugram, he only provokes him... if he really hated jugram, to the point there is no love toward him anymore, it wouldnt be hard for him to break the rule and try to kill him even if it kills him.. i mean, what’s left for him to even be alive? literally nothing...
yhwach was easy to wish death on bc he has no attachment to him, at all, only pure hatred and revenge, where jugram, he still has that bond, that bond of a friend and even if jugram broke it, he cant help but still see him as a friend, he still loves him
Tumblr media
and this is probably why it scarred him the most, in his whole life, he has never cared for someone as much as jugram... and now he sees that person whom he loved the most hurt him...., and i think that's why he wants to fight him, he wants to show/express his pain, prove jugram he's on the wrong path, not for jugram's good, for his own, since jugram is his everything.. that doesnt mean he doesnt care about ju and his wellbeing, he was still disappointed in what he became under yhwach's wing, he promised him THEY would be the greatest.. bazz didnt use jugram like yhwach would say, he wanted to be his partner more than anything
Tumblr media
i know what you’re thinking, why did bazz said he would kill jugram in 630 "ill kill yhwach and you along" bazz didnt want to kill yhwach for the same reasons as when he was a kid aka burned his village down, in 630 he wanted to bc yhwach did the auswahlen again, he betrayed him.. so he wanted to kill jugram for the same reason, jugram kinda indirectly betrayed bazz with yhwach there bc he knews jugram knew about it,, and he’s now a lost cause to him.. this was kinda the "deadline" to trying to fix whats was between them, if not at the first war, if not in a 1000yrs, do you really think things would change after a second war? that loop wont end as long as one kills the other... and this is what happened, i dont think bazz had the intention to kill bc he hated jugram, but the pain is too much to bare, seeing the man you loved and cared, who felt the same toward you just ignore you over and over is... too much, maybe death was the only solution... i already talked about that, but if bazz was to win (which im pretty sure he knew he had very very low chances if not none) he would be horribly heartbroken...
Tumblr media
i explained it before but, their fight was the best way to end their relationship in "good terms" and yknow how bazz said "things dont always turn out like you wanted them to" it just shows how bazz didnt want to result in that, in that fight, in everything that happened between them was nothing he wanted....
he truly loved ju, he just wanted his old jugram back and be the greatest together...

@skyvar :    "I'll burn their bodies to ashes! What does your poison even do apart of gently knocking them out? I've heard poisoning is usually the way of women," he mocked.
‘  ‘s that so?  must be why women are said to be smarter than men.  ’
Tumblr media
there’s no hope for the likes of bazz-b to understand the fine art of chemistry,  askin acknowledges flatly.  he stretches his legs over the table,  languid as a cat,  pulling a fake pitch of hurt to color his voice.   ‘  no offense,  burning everything in your way sounds dull after a while.  ’   poison is always changing.  different substances,  different doses,  different combinations  and as a result,  different deaths.  or not.  a slight curl at the corner of askin’s lips teases bazz-b to try a little bit harder,  even with his taunts.   ‘  to answer your question,  a lot of things.  depends on the substance i use,  the effect i want to achieve,  the general values of my target,  and so on.  you know,  everything can be poison,  even water or reishi.  you want a demonstration?  ’

To be fair Revali was a dick for a very good reason. Just imagine, you, trained your whole life with the bow, can hit any target perfectly, was hired as one of the Princess’s personal “guards” (or whatever), shown how amazing they are and how they’ll be one of the people who will stop Ganon! One of... then all of a sudden this random nobody can wield the Master Sword and for some reason because of that all of your hard work means nothing in comparison. Besides, Revali respects Link anyway.
FRIEND PLEASE NO I DONT WANT TO FIGHT YOU;;;
but I don’t understand where you’re getting your points from?? Link is hella skilled as a knight and it’s even mentioned how damn good he is- that his father and his fathers father etc are all royal knights -even before the champions fell in Zelda’s journal it states how many people look up to Link and the immense pressure on him and like…he’d go around training others too like bazz and other zoras so no it’s not like he’s just “some random nobody” he was the youngest Hylian ever appointed as a knight of Hyrule- he can fight and kick ass even without the full power of the master sword and we /saw/ him save zelda multiple times so its not like he just got picked at castle town bingo that day for a champion position and just got lucky
and also revali got beat by the easiest boss in the whole game I beat that boss in like ten seconds how he gonna die from that form of Ganon like b r u h (okay maybe calamity Ganon was easier but he took longer )
Tbh I just don’t like revali all that much and a major critique of mine is that a lot of the game while it’s fantastic it’s just got such under explained story lines that’ll hopefully get more expounded on in dlcs like I don’t even think his village cares about revali all that much which is sad (aside from teba and the landing/platform thing why does NO ONE talk about him at his village like the fuck??? Everyone talks about the other champions and how much they miss them in the game based on their respective places but like no one talks about revali it’s always about the Devine beast itself and honestly it’s so bizzare ??? ) I get he’s the snooty one of the bunch but he’s just an ass really for no reason the game just gives you this bird immediately shitting on link at first sight because he can’t fly like ????
NOW HIS CHARACTER DESIGN IS COOL AS HELL BUT YOU KNOW HOW THAT OUTKAST SONG ROSES GOES ITS LIKE THAT FOR ME so I’m sorry friend I cannot agree with you at all;; sorry didn’t mean to turn this into a rant and ilu still a lot but n o F r i e n d n o o you can like revali all u want he looks cool as shit but he’s a rude little butt and I will slam dunk him in the trash again and again he is a buttflake

this thread is just me being a petty bitch so dont take it personally if u feel targeted.. so, lets rant :^) how can ppl look at him and be all like "mmm sexy man" dude..... the more i draw him, the more i realize how scary of a figure he is, he looks so calm and composed and kubo draw him with a slight blue (sad) feeling in his eyes... but when I draw him, its not the same, i dont draw him with the same emotion/feeling, its different...
Tumblr media
i know i portray him with a sharp and cold look, piercing eyes, its just so him he's a tall figure, beautiful, imposing, almost angelic, but that pretty image wasnt acquired with altruism nor amour propre (and ill say it, i still dont believe ju has a good self-esteem, or at the very least, not the one he deserves/should be looking upon), he had to be strict with himself when he became a ritter and always have been ever since...
when i say blue its these panels where they show the most, all of these shots are without shinigamis (1st w/ his aide, 2nd bazz, 3d alone) im not saying he's sad, but his heart is not all stone... he has feelings!!! but they are very subtle (hear some ppl say he’s a cold hearted bitch im ???? yall clearly never saw him when he’s not in battle/war)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
otherwise we get panels like these where we all know he isnt himself and omg he's scary, like genuinely Terrifying, and even without being under yhwach's power, he is just as scary esp when he interacts with shinigamis
we get to see his look when he’s under yhwach’s power, so i cant really call him jugram ngl, its like a mean side of him that is showing but never had in the first place.. an implanted personality.. and when he’s fighting shinigamis (except for one panel i know), that’s jugram, with a murderous intent and im not afraid to say that really is part of jugram, not a vengeful one, one with power greater than the enemy...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and well, we have Friend chapters where its just.... something else...... please look at this last panel and tell me how desperate he is, HES NOT HIMSELF AT ALL!#?%@ there is like, some kind of anguish in his expression that you can only see here in that single panel (where he calls bazz’ name) and when i say not himself, its not as “he’s ooc”, its as, not the usual composed jugram we’re used, its a desperate one, the one who wants to protect someone... for him to break that composure, then maybe it’s the most himself we get to see since he’s being completely transparent
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
its even worse when it comes to bazz’ death, the lack of panel showing jugram's face was done on PURPOSE, I KNOW IT!!!! and ppl just think "oh he killed his friend and walked away like nothing" DUDE, HOW CAN YOU SAY THIS?!??! WHEN WE HAVE THIS?!?!?? no expression was shown bc this is how ju handles it (and not the mention kubo PURPOSEFULLY refused to show us any of his facial expression... i fucking hate it, im not saying he’s crying, but he’s certainly hurt, the eyes are the most expressive facial trait, not surprising we didnt get to see them...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this the only way he could handle it, if he were to show regret, any kind of empathy, he would snap, if you thought killing bazz was easy thing for him, then you dont get his character
in other words, jugram is really beautiful, but ppl really need to look past it and how his cold look shouldnt make you think he's heartless
ok mentioned earlier about his he "gained" that cold look and while i dont believe he’s faking his composed self (aka, the “normal” jugram) he wouldnt have grown that way if he wasnt enrolled back then, look how innocent he is and how scary he looks after 3 years
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3 years is a LOT (esp for his young age), so im not surprised he changed so much, but what bothers me is, "is this what he wants to be?" i would say no, he never desired to become like that, but he just happened to be.. this is what fate gave him so he's not dishonest nor faking, but also younger him would be terrified to know he became like that... does the current ju wanna go back to what he used to be? no, although i believe cold nature isnt his true nature (as in, if the circumstances were different, he wouldnt be that cold) i dont think he wanna go back its just... now part of him, ofc he can be happy and have feelings, he just expresses them less than average... i think ju was the most himself during that 5yrs detaching himself from his abusive uncle and be somehow free, not happy, but just himself
speaking of changing look, jugram went through a personality change 3 times where 2 are linked with trauma, when we first meet him, he's a very unsociable kid who is just looking for love, any kind, deep down, this is caused by his uncle (trauma 1) and making him so... detached from others (unfortunately, this is his initial persona)
Tumblr media
this is ofc in order to protect himself (ppl who have DiD ppl mostly suffer from it bc of constant abuse and to protect themselves from trauma, their brain develop DiD ((im not suggesting jugram has DiD bc i dont have it so i cant diagnose it and i dont think there are enough proofs for it, but im not saying its impossible))) bc talking to other ppl could be a problem, so he doesnt befriend bazz at first, but bazz’ concern and the importance he gave to him touched him, deeply, when his uncle died, nothing was stopping him from being closer to bazz, to be more himself
unfortunately bazz didnt bring the best of him, but at least he wasnt restrained emotionally with him (his only inner struggle was being powerless) so he was more free, giving him (change 1) the shy/worried persona, this is the most jugo we ever got
trauma (the beginning of the 2th change): it's not ju joining yhwach but rather, their friendship being torn out, the only person he ever considered as a friend is revealed to have used him, a betrayer, and bazz didnt help himself either... ju just took the safest side
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(another trauma sign: to take the safest side) these two werent thinking twice to everything that happened, but what is done is done, ju's whole world shifted (being a leader and military stuff), leading to another persona change (change 2), he prob quickly gained that persona there (bc it was so harsh and quick, one day he want training with bazz the day after he’s yhwach advisor...)
Tumblr media
giving us the coldest ju imo (warmest to coldest in 3yrs... damn) i mean, for him to be so unbothered with bazz joining the army after 3 years is so damn cold from him esp when we are shown he never hated him and still cared despite everything...
then with time, he regain more freedom with his emotions and thoughts...which is the 3th change, our current ju, we dont have him joining the army, post-war nor post aushwalen ju, so we cant tell if it affected him somehow.. it would have been interesting..
Tumblr media
(since i cant word my thoughts for two cents, i hope this clear it up a bit lmao)
anyways, takes like blonde byakuya, jugo as bankai rukia or just, jugram being a cold hearted bitch who has no feelings or “he’s really attrative, id fuck him, but id never date him” well, 1 he’s gay for one person and 2 dont even talk to me yall really be missing on an amazing character ngl...
