I made a smaller post this morning, but I am super pleased to announce that Tumblr's moderation has approved SEAFLOOR as a Community! We're live, baeby!

Welcome to SEAFLOOR! This a Community run by myself, Sea (@gatheredfates), as an offshoot of the identically named Discord server aimed to contain both my personal projects and promote member-created content. If you would still like to keep up to date with my projects, interact with members of my community, and generally enjoy xiv content without the pressure of a Discord, this is the place!

This server has mandatory tags that MUST be used for spoilers. A general rule of thumb is the most recent patch/live letter is considered spoiler content and must be marked accordingly; as well as major spoilers for the most recent expansion. If it doubt, it always pays to tag. Please mind the following:

Much like my Discord, there are some house rules I want to put in place first for first-time users. Please familiarise yourself with the below. This post is pinned; you can't claim you haven't seen it. A lot of these are near-identical to the server rules, but I'll be no-less forceful in implementation if they are not adhered to.

If I'm being entirely honest, moderation past Community maintenance is something I do not want to engage with, so I will be intervening only when it is entirely necessary and will be harsh in my implementation. Therefore, if you don't think you can conduct yourself in a healthy, adult manner, do not join. Some of these rules may seem 'harsh' but are the product of me making clear boundaries in what I will expect, tolerate and foster. I will not hesitate to curate where I feel it is necessary.

I believe in the age-old phrase "Be excellent to each other," and that underpins every rule featured below. If in doubt, refer back to this mantra.

This Community is strictly 21+ only. This is to keep in line with my personal boundaries regarding minors. It's nothing personal, I just don't have time to moderate for a younger audience.

Common-sense rules apply. Do not break Tumblr's ToS, spoiler/content warm where appropriate and sensible, and don't be rude/harass people in the comments. Just because a rule isn't explicitly stated doesn't mean you have full reign to do the thing.

Intolerance (namely racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.) will not be tolerated. If you don't like it, the back button is free.

Due to this being a predominately XIV focused Community, dark themes will present due to subject manner explored in the game. I will not enforce mandatory tags/censors outside of patch/expansion spoilers; I just ask that people use their common sense and consider peoples' safety and mental wellbeing when posting work(s). If you do not warn appropriately or mock/ignore requests for things to be censored/warned, you will be removed.

As Communities are in their infancy, rules may be amended/adjusted to better fit this space's purpose as time goes on. While I will attempt to make these changes obvious, please check back on occasion just in case. "I didn't know," is not a valid excuse.

Sweet Like Candy is Sena's debut mini-album, making her the fourth and final member of VENUS to debut solo. With a track list of eight songs, Sena performed the title tracks "Exes" and "Get Him Back" for a total of six weeks across various music shows and concert appearances. Exes would go on to win three music show awards, and Get Him Back would earn two.

With a star-studded all-female producing team, Sena's debut mini album will feature tracks produced by the acclaimed producing duo SODA, one of Japan's most popular idols, Kaori, Evangeline's leader Namra AKA angeleyes, the producing trio of Venus' sister group SNS Mika AKA M.ka, Yuki, and Piper, MORNINGSTAR member Eris, Kaleina from KRUSH, Hiro from LUCKY, Love AKA lovelies from REJECTS, and her always supportive groupmates Chloee Lee, Baebi, and Klara Blix.

Despite its divisive reception, Sweet Like Candy made a notable splash in the music scene. On its first release day, It sold over 1.8 million copies, showcasing Sena's shockingly strong fan base and the anticipation surrounding her solo debut. The album continued to perform well, reaching a total of 4 million copies sold.

The album's title tracks, "EXES" and "Get Him Back," quickly became fan favorites. "EXES" shot to the top of the Gaon chart, holding the number one spot for an impressive 20 days before "Get Him Back" entered the top ten and subsequently took over the number one position for 25 days. However, the album's overall chart performance was fleeting, with its presence dwindling from the charts after only a few weeks.

Sweet Like Candy sparked debate among fans and critics. Fans loved the album's personal, raw nature, speculating that several songs were about her past relationships, including rumored ties to a member of ArmCandy and Yeojun of Pushing Daisies. However, critics were less enthusiastic about the album's overall composition and thematic cohesion, saying she fell flat compared to her members' solo debuts.

Sena's vocal performance throughout the album was a standout. Her expressive delivery amplified the emotional depth of the songs. Her ability to seamlessly transition between high-energy pop anthems and introspective indie ballads underscored her versatility as an artist.

Critics had mixed opinions about the album's overall coherence and some of its production choices, but they all agreed on Sena's potential and the strong foundation she has laid for her solo career. Her debut album, "Sweet Like Candy," proved that she is more than just a member of Venus; it showcased her as a unique and talented artist in her own right.

OO1. Let's start off with the fact Sena's debut showcase SOLD OUT! All 15,000 seats were filled with constellations, her closest friends, and some other idols. You already know all of Venus was there cheering her on. They all made little signs to show their support. Klara wore a cute little headband with Sena's face on it that she and Elliot of Pushing Daisies; it was all very cute and a much-needed moment for Constellations.

Shockingly, Bliss was there to show her support alongside HautePink members Misun and Fame, which caused a lot of heated debate on constellation Twitter and some fan wars between them and Coutures, but what's new there? Not only were the Venus girls there but a whole bunch of idols came to support their favorite fake maknae! SEE WHO WAS AT SENA'S SHOWCASE IN HER INSTA DUMP!

OO2. Sena did a lot of interviews for her debut! She was on PSICK SHOW, The Kstar Next Door, Buzzfeed UK, and Hong Seokcheon's Jewel Box! This girl was everywhere and capturing the hearts of literally everyone she interacted with. She also got her own variety show, "Sweet Like Sena," where she'd basically try to make candy from scratch every episode and fail miserably. She'd have some guests on the show, which caused some really fun and iconic moments, like when Klara joined her to make rock candy. They literally made the candy so hard it was like a rock, resulting in the girls losing their minds as they tried to see who could break the candy first. This was the first time Sena really got to show her variety skills and she did not disappoint!

OO3. While on PSICK SHOW, they repeatedly tried to get her to spill who the album was about, and she would not give it up! Either she'd laugh it off or answer with, "I think it's obvious. Listen to the songs." with a smirk on her face. There were a lot of speculations from fans, but most concluded that the album is either about Yeojun of Pushing Daisies; they did major detective work to come to this conclusion, like, building timelines based on posts, deleted posts, and when Sena and Yeojun were seen together or a member of Arm Candy due to the on the nose title of the album.

"I don't think it matters who it's about. It just matters that it's good," Sena would say during her PSICK interview as she played with the ends of her hair and puckered her lips at the camera, "but some of you guys are riiight!" She'd teased, laughing at herself and covering her mouth.

OO4. Every encore stage, she did something special like pulling her Venus members on stage with her, a tradition for Venus solos at this point, inhaling helium from some balloons to pitch her voice during a stage, dressing like a cat for one of them, and most famously letting her backup dancers sing while she danced which was a hit with fans. Her live vocals were praised for her stability, though she was trashed for an encore performance of "Get Him Back" where she was a bit pitchy and out of breath, but in her defense she was tired so!

OO5. Not many scandals! The only real notable ones were her outfits being "too revealing" or "try hard" which...wasn't a big deal. It stayed in the stan twitter bubble relatively so Sena never saw any of it despite being very active on social media.

The other scandal involved none other than our favorite DeepDive boy, Finn Lee! The pair were spotted out and about together A LOT, like if Sena was spotted by fans, Finn was right there behind her. Though they would consistently say they were just friends, they were also seen hugging and hanging onto each other outside of a club, which caused a bit of a stir. Still, they never cleared it up with fans, and Mydol never released a statement. This just wasn't at the top of the priorities list lol!

OO5. OVERALL! SENA HAS A GREAT TIME! She was always glowing when she was on stage or at fansigns and giving it her all every performance. It was a breath of fresh air for constellations fighting for their lives just a few months ago. It was really a good time, genuinely. Everyone was pretty happy and supportive of their girl, and she was so happy with how everything turned out! Despite not having much creative control over her music videos and outfits, she was super proud of how the songs turned out and how it all went about. Pretty smooth and overall happy era!

THIS IS A DRAMA, I’M THE DRAMA! The last performance is going to be here very soon! Once finished, the judges will give their critiques right after and fans will be given time to put in votes for them and other can do last minute voting, after this, the judges may choose who they would like to eliminate from the bottom four. But first let’s go see what the trainees thought of “Team Pink Venom”’s performance!

“Lolaaa hey, welcome to the dark side” a staff member joked as Lola sits in the confessional room chair. “As you know the song choice for group three is Pink Venom~ what do you think about that?” She asked. “I’m a bit shocked that the production team picked out Pink Venom for a song,” said a very unsure Lola, “I think the lineup is great and all, but it can be a tough Blackpink song to master…All I’m saying, if it’s not done right the girls might be set up for disaster…”

FAST FOWARD AFTER THE PERFORMANCE OF TEAM PINK VENOM!

“i don’t care that the line distribution was wild, like yeah that sucks, but my girl Yurim ate. She didn’t have a lot to work with in our first performance so she made sure that she gagged everyone in this performance one. And she’s the only one here who could pull it off anyways.” Said Yedam, it seems like these past week Yedam and Yurim has gotten very close, we love to see it!

Yebin probably looked the happiest she’s looked watching Sasha perform. “Sasha just has that it girl factor about her. It’s refreshing to see someone stand out like she does.” A rare compliment from Yebin! When the camera cuts back to her, she’s smiling and cheering whenever Sasha comes on screen.

Sani, however, seems bored. Staring blankly at the screen, clearly zoning out. “I’m just getting tired,” Sani admits in the confessional, “There’s a lot of performances and some are better than others. It was kinda boring watching one girl sing the whole time.” She tries to explain as sweetly as possible. When the performance is over, she doesn’t hug the girls like she did for the previous performances.

“It was kind’ve shocking to see that Sani didn’t hug or greet us after the performance,” Yoon pouts. “I mean—she’s very bubbly and always congratulates everyone after, maybe she was just tired, I won’t hold it over her head.”

"Team Pink Venom did a really good job! In my opinion, I think Sasha stood out the most because she looked very sassy up there. Very powerful. I'm not saying the other girls didn't stand out, though! They all stood out in their own ways, and I liked them all." Rin said smiling. It seems Sasha has made a lot of people admire her, wow! “However, I think Yurim needs to work on her dancing a bit. She’s not bad or anything, but like a lot of us, she could be better! I hope I don’t offend her or something.” *🤨*

Rin sat next to Sani while watching team pink venom's performance, and they looked to be talking a lot and having a good time! She also talked to her cousin, Jangmi, a bit about family stuff and even though it took Rin a while to approach her, she managed to speak to Baebi, as well! She fan-girlied over her in her head before walking towards her.

Hana appears on screen again, sitting in front of the camera in the confessional, examining her nails with a bored expression. "I suppose it wasn't bad. Definitely more interesting than Team Fancy's performance." When she glances up at the camera, her expression shifts slightly. It's subtle, but some of her usual cockiness is missing. "Sasha really stood out for me. On the other hand, giving lines to Yurim was a waste. Just another mystery of this contest, I guess."

The scene cuts to the backstage during Team Pink Venom's performance. Hana and Lo are sitting together in a corner, each holding a mini fan to cool off after their own performance. Both are intently watching a monitor displaying the performance. About halfway through the song, Lo lets out a long sigh, a look of sympathy on her face. "Poor Yurim, she must be nervous with all those lines." Hana shrugs slightly. "That's one way to put it, I guess." Well, we can see that they both think differently.

IT IS STILL EPISODE ONE The show has fast forward, so that it is now a few days after Team Pink Venom performance. Jennie walks onto the stage to introduce the second group performance of the series.

Jennie walks on stage, looking as gorgeous as ever, she begins to announce the song and the trainees of the performance. “I know ya’ll are probably sick of seeing me“ she laughs, “—but I’m going to be here the whole time, I’m gonna make the money worth it, so!”

“Anyways, this song is actually a b-side, and not everyone might not know this, but it’s really good! These talented girls will be performing Illusion by aespa, this song can be difficult to perform so let’s hope they do well!”

“Please put your hands together and help me welcome the girls of “Team Illusion”, Sani, Jisu, Lola, and Yedam.” She smiles and leaves, jittery and ready for them to put on a show.

I had to go through the archive to remember which ones I wanted to check out, but a few of them would be The Walten Files, Red vs. Blue, The Murderbot Diaries, I Am In Eskew, and The Mistholme Museum of Mystery, Morbidity, and Mortality. Many of the characters posted here look interesting, but I'm such a slow watcher/player/reader/etc. that it'd take me decades to go through everything lol

This piece of advice was given to a viewer of AllTalkMe during their call-in segment, which has since been discontinued. Due to her inflections and quickness, this was one of the first clips of Myrah to go viral. Going back to what you said... Irene gets so nervous before performances but she has to act cool for her members. She makes sure everyone is ready and in their proper places. Afterward, when the show is done, she reassures everyone they did well being the professional and kind leader she is. But one look at you and she feels so shy and mushy inside. She'll approach you shyly, asking if you liked her performance, blushing when you pull her into your arms and shower her with praises, telling her she did so well, how you're proud of her for doing such a good job.

It hits differently for her for several reasons, but she always asks if you saw her because you know her best, and always wants to make you proud (it's probably because of the Aries in her). She brings home clips from rehearsals and practices when you're not there to help her look over some stuff or just to hear your praises and feel your warm touch. AU: The council but they're children.

IDEA: Adventures of the Council when they were children! At some point they accidentally but not really accidentally send Grizzly to hell.

-- Since I want to tie SBI kingdom into this, I'm gonna just casually snatch some DSMP characters and make them baeby too :]

-- Some side characters will be Tommy, Wilbur, Techno, Phil, probably Skeppy and Bad, Quackity, Purpled maybe? Oh yeah and Schlatt.

-- The format will be short stories each chapter, none really connecting but there are references.

-- Condi's a dragon hybrid. He can fly and carry around his body weight. He can control dimensions but his powers are sometimes out of control. He's the quiet kid, always with his oversized headphones.

-- Charlie can control plants and knows a lot about potions. The usual, but when he panics he can lose control. Same for the rest of the group. He's an extrovert and protective over Condi.

-- Bizly doesn't really have a filter and is bold of what he says. He has a very strong bond with any animals.

-- Grizzly is an ambivert. Loud with friends, pretty quiet alone unless someone says "anime".

-- Schlatt's the bully in this fic, but everything's pretty light hearted in this au. He somewhat cares for the people around him, but he's not good at showing affection and ends up hurting people. Orrr he's just annoyed and actually wants to hurt people sometimes. Children. Oh and he's a few months older than rest of the Council.

-- Everything's the same besides they're children and nothing really bad ever happens.

-- Tommy pretends he's more powerful than the Council but he isn't. He's bossy sometimes but not in a Schlatt way. Charlie's fond of him and considers him a friend, and Tommy does consider them (as in the council) friends no matter how much he denies it.

-- Wilbur's the middle child, Techno's the oldest, Phil's the dad. The usual SBI stuff.

-- Phil adopted(?) the gods as his own. The orphanage was struggling with four very powerful gods and almost pleaded for the king to not take them because they'd only cause chaos. But Phil did adopt them (not officially, but he lets the children sleep in the castle if they want).

-- To Condi, Charlie's his everything. Charlie's the one who speaks up for Condi. He really, really likes Charlie. Very attached, clingy even. This changes as they grow up to be teens, and Condi does talk, but for now he's a shy child :>

-- Puddi is actually a character here. Genderfluid he/she/they/it. Puddi can change its hair length and stuff so that's helpful :D Puddi's one of the few beings Schlatt's gentle to. Puddi can sometimes be really energetic or really, really shy.

-- There's also Apple. Agender and no pronouns (just name)! Loves chaos. Looks up to Schlatt.

-- Condi sometimes uses they/them.

-- Schlatt is surprisingly very respectful for people (or non-people)'s identity. There was this one time he actually stood up for Condi when they were feeling they/them and no one was using it. They have this digital nametag thing that shows name and pronouns. ["We're never talking about this again. But stand up for yourself, okay? This is a one time thing."]

-- That's why Condi's the one to stop Charlie from lashing out at Schlatt when he's annoyed and being over dramatic.

Drabble time!

It was a very fine evening. Grizzly had dragged his three friends out to the forest to show them something he'd made.

"Are we there yet?" Bizly asked again impatiently. His blue hoodie was like a neon blue sign to predators, but they would never harm the god of animals, no matter how young. They were even more protective, really.

Grizzly didn't answer, stubbornly struggling with a bush before Charlie moved it with ease.

"We've been walking for a while." Charlie held Condi's hand, the young dragon hybrid trailing behind the young god of alchemy and plants silently. "Shouldn't we be there right now?"

Grizzly huffed. "It's a top secret place! It's very far from Spawn."

Condi finally spoke up, adjusting his headphones. "It's been about five chunks."

"Mhm! Far... and we're here!"

The four huddled over the bush to a small clearing, clearly artificially made, rocks rooted up and a circle of dirt inside the circle of stone. Inside the circle were markings.

Satanic markings.

They all stared.

Bizly walked forward cautiously. "You have to spawn Satan?"

Grizzly almost rolled his eyes. Wasn't it obvious?

"No! I want to be Satan."

Grizzly sighed when he was met with more silence.

"Guys, I need you to send me to h-e-double hocky sticks."

"Grizzly, Condi could send you to hell anytime you want." Charlie deadpanned. Condi nodded.

"But where's the fun in that? I already got-"

"OH MY GODS, HAM!" Bizly shrieked, running forward to see a dead hairless rat in one of the ritual triangles. Bizly desperately brought it back to life, which actually worked.

"-Sacrifices." The anime obsessed child winced. Bizly had tears in his eyes when he turned, though it was difficult to tell through his sunglasses.

"What the frick, Grizz?"

"Yeah, sorry. Anyways, send me to hell guys. I want to be the last sacrifice!"

"GRIZZ-"

"Yeah, that sounds fun!" Charlie interrupted Bizly's dialogue. "Doesn't it, Condi?"

"I guess?" The other replied, tilting his head.

So, with a bit of tears on the ground, Grizzly was placed in the middle of the ritual circle. Bizly reluctantly helped, putting Ham on the side and replacing it with a dead ant instead.

"Anime, anime, anime, weeb! Anime, anime, anime, weeb!" The three chanted as red lights began the glow around the sphere.

"What the hell is going on here?"

The Council froze their chant, all turning with wide eyes as if they were caught with a video game at school. Schlatt faced them in utter confusion.

"NOOOOPE NOPE NOPE GET OUT!" The Council all simultaneously yelled except Condi, who was behind Charlie. Grizzly raised a giant rock at Schlatt, who, for a split second, had an expression of regret before he screamed and ran away.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRong with you..." His voice diminished.

Good, now they could continue the chant.

"Anime, anime, anime, weeb! Anime, anime, ANIME, WEEB!!"

The red glow of the ritual grew brighter and brighter until the ground started to shake. The trio continued, thinking it was Grizzly making everything dramatic again even when Grizzly was muttering, "Hey... Guys? Um- maybe we should-"

Then everything happened too quickly.

Condi grabbed Charlie by his arms and flew up, Bizly getting a murder of crows to lift him up as a giant sinkhole opened up in front of them. Grizzly screamed as he fell down.

"ANIIIIMEEEEEEE!!!!" Grizzly screamed his last words. The hole then shrunk before any of the others could react.

"Huh."

🪞: G's a kind of short man, maybe 160cm or 165cm, he's about my Height. I don't know how to explain his physical type, I think he has the typical "dad's body". His hair, omg his hair is perfect, it's short and Straight and has this color mix that reminds me of salt and pepper. Also, he has the most beautiful eyes in the world. They're green, in the sun they get a golden yellowish and in the dark they get a more greenish blue tone.

2. what was the first thing you've ever said to your tc?

🪞: I giggled 'cause the first thing he said to me was that I was such a quiet girl. The second thing was "I also like the Beatles" (he asked me if I liked them, actually I hate them)

🪞: G is taken (married) but I'm not sure if he's happy in this relationship at all... The girls were interviewed together with Chloe, who mainly took the reins by answering questions as Baebi is still learning English. "We are always so honored to be invited to the Met Gala. My favorite part is the makeup. I love makeup! And Baebi's favorite part is the people-watching. She loves seeing everyone's outfits and meeting people. She's very social." Chloe would say during an interview, charming everyone she talked to with not only her beauty but charismatic and excited personality.

6) name one song that reminds you of you tc and explain why it reminds you of them -> I'd say "gymnopedie №1" of Satie. He just has that really reassuring and warm but also wise and nostalgic aura around him and it's everything this music makes me feel

What's one outfit you'd love to see them wear ? -> ☆ is more of the simple type : shirts and pants, cired black shoes... but God does he look good in those. The way he rolls his sleeves up ? Pure perfection. Angels would cry. There's no other outfit I'd want to him into, really

8) would you be willing to become a teacher and teach your tc's subject if it meant you two could be together ? -> that was actually the plan before I even met him (〃ﾉωﾉ) history has always been my passion and I've always wanted to teach it, seeing how great of a positive impact my teachers have made on me... so yes !

9) does your tc drink or smoke ? -> not that I know, again. Tho I'm pretty sure he must drink some wine here and there

10) name one item that is always on your tc's desk -> I've been to only one of his classes as I'm not his student yet, but I can totally figure ☆ always having a book on his desk
