#༘⋆✿ MYDOL Hits Another Tower: MYRAH Signs With The Label After 20+ Years At Flowerbank Entertainment.

Myrah Yamazaki is a household name and is the landscape of not only K-pop but pop culture in general. Debuting in the steadily declining girl group ALLUME in 2005, she's known as one of the most iconic acts to come from the group. After graduating from the group in 2010, she would skyrocket to success as a solo artist, actress, model, businesswoman, and fashion designer, maintaining relevance for nearly 20 years in the industry.

Despite the many offers from various companies throughout the years, Myrah has remained dedicated to Flowerbank Entertainment, being treated with top priority and respect throughout her time there. She was allowed to start her own brand, "ZAKIRAH," outside of the label despite it being against her initial contract. Flowerbank's kindness to the starlet seemed to have finally bit them in the ass as she finally decided to not resign with them and instead with their ever-growing competitor: Mydol Entertainment.

Despite being established late last year, Mydol already made a name for themselves long before even having a group under their name. CEO Son Jinhwa is a long-known and controversial figure in the Kpop landscape, leaving Angelico Entertainment after running its reputation into the ground with his unprofessionalism and poor business decisions. Despite this reputation, many idols who were once under the label seem to be desperate to work with him again and go to bat for Mydol. Big names such as DeepDive and losers such as Lunarix proudly left their companies, Flowerbank and Angelico, respectively, to sign with Mydol with nothing but smiling faces and positive words about the company.

This is not the first time Jinhwa has targeted Flowerbank's roster, helping DeepDive terminate their contract with the company just a month ago and buying Bones and All's contract from their dying sublabel, Dark Garden Company. Signing Myrah seems to be the biggest blow to the company, with their stocks noticeably dropping and Mydol's noticeably rising once the star signed with the label. Rumors have been floating around that all of this is prep for Mydol to move onto Venus' contract, which has had fans up in arms since the company opened.

Despite all this controversy, Myrah released a heartfelt letter to fans and Flowerbank on her blog, which she has kept active for 19 years.

Hello. Please don't be mad at me lol This contract signing has made a lot of people sad and worried for me, but you don't need to stress yourself with my decisions. I have been working with Flowerbank since I was 16, and I will be turning 37 this year. I trained with them for only two years before I debuted in Allume, and I will forever be grateful for how kind they were to me. I didn't speak Korean, and I didn't know how to dance; all I knew was how to sing and smile for the camera. Without their guidance, I wouldn't be the star I am today, and I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am for them. When you are with a company for 21 years (do the math yourself because I'm bad at it lol) things change. They change constantly. Typically, when a contract resignation would come around, I would resign without issue, but this year, I started thinking harder about why I was resigning so quickly. They are all I know, and while I don't think that's an awful thing, I began to feel like a bird in a cage. I saw things I didn't see before, I realized things I wasn't able to do even though I'm almost 40, I started hearing the way I was being spoken to by people I thought loved me, and it all started to feel like a scam like some big facade that just came crumbling down. I have known Jinhwa for quite some time now. He's not perfect, I won't pretend he is. I don't agree with the things he's done, and I will not defend him. He's not even the one who got me to sign with Mydol; it was literally Youngheun, so I would appreciate it if you laid him off with the accusations involving him and I. I love Iseul and I love Carmen very dearly. This decision was not made lightly and was not personal in the slightest. These women raised me and made me the idol I am today and though we are no longer together professionally, they will always have a place in my heart, body, and spirit. I love them so dearly, so please don't think otherwise. This feels very dramatic lol, but I felt the need to say something to hopefully calm the masses. Thank you for your endless support. Flowerbank was not so generous. Instead, she silently removed Myrah from their roster, deactivated her PetalTalk account, and removed her photos from their company's Instagram.

Mel is an indie horror movie director and now he’s filming a horror anthology series, like American Horror Story and he’s doing pretty well for himself. He’s not like a big ticket or anything but he’s more than comfortable. The wealthiest Briar is actually Benji who now runs a very successful tech and robotics company in Mt. Komorebi (Olive is gunning for 2nd place at the rate she’s going with this sugar baby business of hers lol) and Benji does care for the family but I will say he’s probably the most detached Briar, meaning not totally involved in the family dynamic bc he’s been chasing the bag in another country since uni.

Sigh. Honestly, if Orion’s fatal flaw wasn’t her pride; Mel and really everyone, would come together to help her. She’s going to have to be open and honest and vocal to her family first. But I don’t think she’s hit rock bottom quite yet… 👀

Originally the chief position was passed down until a male was born and then he was automatically chief

After Naboroo took over from Ganon this changed. The tilte of chief has been passed down in order of oldest in a blood line

However, since well before their recorded history the gerudo have accepted challengers to the chieftan- allowing a challengers and the chief to engage in battle to decide who should be chief

While the descendants of Naboroo are in the position of chief in botw- there have been at least 5 times someone of another blood line has challenged for the title and gotten it

If a chief has a younger sibling and a child younger than the chief's sibling the title woukd pass to the sibling not the child

However as long as there is someone in the blood line willing to take the title the next in line can pass the title on without taking it

The chieftan amd their family tend to wear black and have artisinally crafted headpieces (often passed down)

MYRAH YAMAZAKI is a Japanese K-pop idol and global icon based in South Korea. She made her initial debut in the rotational girl group ALLUME in 2005 as the group's leader and lead vocalist until her generation's graduation in 2010. Myrah is often credited for making ALLUME as popular as they are, achieving international stardom during this time for her strong attitude and natural star quality. Her run in Allume would be dubbed "Myrah and Friends" by fans due her popularity often overshadowing her groupmates.

Myrah would immediately begin a solo career after her 2010 graduation, destroying both the Korean charts and Japanese charts with the mini album HAUTE TOPIC. HAUTE TOPIC would break records for having all four tracks debut in the Top 10 on Melon. Moonlight, Chase Me, Starlight, and Kitty Kat would all break into the top ten and remain there for a solid five months. Myrah's solo career would be proflic and global, debuting in Japan shortly after her Korean solo debut where she would destroy the charts there as well. She would be the highest-performing Flowerbank soloist ever until the acquisition of Baebi's contract in 2023.

Myrah is still a high profile celebrity, starring in a handful of blockbuster films, critically acclaimed dramas, and becoming the face of many luxury brands through out the years. One of her first viral moments as an actress was in 2016 during the press tour for A Man and a Woman with her co-star Gong Yoo. Myrah and Gong Yoo would go on to have a public relationship that would often have them going viral for their cute and funny moments. To fans' dismay, the pair would split in late 2020.

When she snatched Sooah's mic from her during a concert, singing her lines and high notes. "My mic wasn't working. It's not like she sings much anyways," Myrah would go on to say in an interview, fueling the fire of rumors about the two having a feud during their time in Allume. After this, Sooah would noticeably clutch her microphone whenever Myrah would walk by her.

"How could I not like her? I've never spoken to her. I love 2ne1. Shut up." Myrah would shut down rumors of her and CL of 2ne1 having beef, telling a fan to shut up when they spoke negatively of her. Shot in glorious 2009 iPhone quality, the video would make its round around the internet. A week later, Myrah would post a selfie with CL on her blog with the caption "My bestiiiiii~ ^-^ <3" and the two are still close to this day.

She put her hand up in Gdragon's face when he attempted to sing to her at the 2013 MAMA Awards. It was a lighthearted interaction, Myrah laughing the whole time, but the internet took it differently and deemed her "a rude bitch" and VIPS would begin to harass her. This would have very little effect on Myrah as she would go on to post a couple of photos of her with T.O.P and Gdragon in the studio with the caption: "I lovvveee rappers!! (*^^*)♡"

"She's a bitch! A hot one though!" Myrah would shout out her car window when she was escorted out of a club by Flowerbank CEO Kim Iseul. Myrah was a bit of a club-goer post-Allume, often having to be picked up by friends or, on rare occasions, her CEO. When asked by paparazzi about her thoughts on Iseul having to pick her up, prompting her to say her now most iconic line.

Hi there! :) So Myrah was always around even after the divorce when Mel, Lyric and Sonny were kids but when they became adults she was around the Briars a little less. Mostly just visiting for holidays or the birth of a grandchild. She was actually very close with Amina too since she had a strained relationship with her own mother growing up. She does have her own life too. She’s cycled through a couple here and there boyfriends. She's currently dating now, and her kids may or may not be frustrated with her choice in men at the moment lol ...

Myrah isn’t a villain , she can be difficult because she’s firm in her wants. She was firm in her wants when she was married to Ezra, firm about taking the kids with her when she left Henford and even now in her older age, when it comes to interacting with her adult children. At her worse she’s more annoying to some than others , mostly to Lyric lol but they love their mom, especially mama’s boy Sonny 😭
