Pictures and video from 4/13/2023
On my 31st birthday I went to see Phantom not only for my 23rd time, but for the last time.
I owe a lot to the Phantom of the Opera.
I could go into all the details here about how it changed my life, but I’m still feeling a little raw. Maybe in the future I can describe how much Phantom truly means to me. At the moment, it’s hard to find the words.
Here is what I need to say now:
- It was an absolute pleasure having Jeremy Stolle be my final Phantom. It was like a birthday gift from the show itself! I couldn’t have been any happier seeing his name in my Playbill that night.
- I am sending all the good vibes and well wishes to the crew of the Majestic. They let the audience stay in the theatre way after the show ended, which I thought was incredibly kind. I was able to have a private moment to myself before leaving.
- I first saw this show when I was in the 5th grade. I begged my parents to take me for over two years. I got the tickets for Christmas and my mom warned me that we would be sitting all the way in the back. We got there and I was totally surprised to be led to the first row. It was a moment I will never forget.
- Fast forward 21 years later and I was able to experience the same magic with my parents in the same row. Except this time, I was the one to surprise them! It’s wild to me how fast time flies. We really do need to appreciate every minute.
- Finally, I want to send out lots of love to my followers on here. There was a time I was much more active on this account and part of this wonderful Phantom community. Some of my happiest online memories are with you 💜
