A Lamb to the Slaughter: Synopsis

The sound of a horn honking ripped Sami from his thoughts, jumping so hard his hood nearly fell from his head and he turned his attention toward the road, pulling an earbud from his ear. A four-door silver Toyota Corolla was pulled up next to him, the hazards were flicked on to alert other drivers to go around, and the man inside had rolled down the passenger side window. Sami immediately felt on edge. He may be walking on the side of the freeway, which was pretty dumb in its own respect, but he knew better than to hitchhike. “Hey, you alright, kid?” He was tilting his head, ducking a bit to try and get a clear look at Sami who was only shying away from the man. He kept his hood up and only glanced at the guy, catching the sight of his full, neatly trimmed beard, short brunette hair, combed to one side, creases around his eyes that gave Sami the impression this guy was old enough to be his dad; if he had a dad, Sami thought sardonically. “M’fine,” Sami mumbled, looking to and from the guy, trying to communicate he had no intentions of getting in the man’s car with him. He really wished he hadn’t forgotten his wallet at home, then he could’ve at least taken a bus. Tonight was not his night. “You need a ride home?” The man persisted. “No,” Sami answered curtly, moving to place his earbud back in his ear and keeping as far away from the man’s car as he could. “You can’t be out here on the side of the freeway, kid.”

A Link to the Stars Ch. 5 Sneak Peek!

“You feeling good about this?” Ganondorf asked.  Link shrugged. “No. You?” Ganondorf shook his head. “No, I’m pretty upset, to be honest.” Link looked up at Ganondorf, intrigued. “Upset?” Ganondorf rubbed the back of his head. “Yeah, man. There was a total hottie on the science team I was hoping to chat up on the trip, but I don’t see her anywhere. I guess she didn’t get picked to come with us.” Link couldn’t roll his eyes hard enough. “Then it’s a good thing she didn’t get picked. You need to keep your head on your shoulders. No getting distracted.” A knowing smile sent Link’s frustration into the stratosphere. “Oh yeah, loverboy? And how do you think you’re going to do with the Princess on board?” Link whirled on his subordinate, his hands gripping his clipboard so hard he feared he may snap it. “You’re the one who—” He cut himself off when he saw Ganondorf holding back his laughter and pulled a hand through his hair. “Whatever. Never mind. Just get on the ship, idiot.”  Ganondorf gave him a mocking salute and began striding toward the entrance ramp. “Aye, aye, Captain.” “That’s General to you.” “Sure thing, Captain.”

Fic Recs - Expanding Hyrule Bingo!

If you're looking for some hot fresh recs that you may not have seen before, boy do I have the post for you!

For the last few days, I have been compiling answers for the @expanding-hyrule TBR Bingo Community Challenge! If this is the first time you're hearing of it, EH is a LoZ fandom project that intends to popularize a tag and create an archive for Original Legends, or LoZ fics, art, etc that create their own version of Hyrule, characters therein, and plot different from the canon games. The Bingo Challenge is a project to get people viewing and talking about more of these stories!

So finally they released the official ages of the characters? Where did you read them?

my source is that i made it up (sort of lying, partially used a dodgy website and partially just looking at him).

it just doesn't make sense to me how THIS MAN

is the same age as THIS MAN.

like just looking at the two there is no way in hell they're of similar age. plus, considering mk11 is WELL into his timeline, and he has a mid-20s daughter, new era johnny just HAS to be late 20s for his appearance and the timeline of the games themselves.

i know this is deviantart, but this is a very concise study of the timeline of the games that concludes with their ages. assuming the starting point for the new era's game is the same time in their previous lives (with johnny being born ~1963 first time around, but that year is now different considering the technology present in mk1), johnny would be 29.
