Writing out of order is great for productivity but it also means that, by the end of it, the order of events is a jumbled mess in your head and, to make sure it's not also a jumbled mess in the writing itself, you have to re-read the whole thing, except you've probably already re-read every section a hundred times by now and the words don't even register anymore.

Good news, "spelunker" is indeed a word, and I spelled it correctly first try.
