also i think people's opinions on what they're comfortable being called or would prefer being called can differ from what they find as acceptable as an umbrella term to describe the experience itself, so saying "would you be comfortable if someone called you specifically a certain label" is MUCH different than "would you be comfortable if someone labeled the experience that you also have as a certain label"

for some, the answers would be the same. for others, they might understand why the umbrella term(s) might differ from their comfort term(s)

So I was rewatching the intros for comparison shots just to make sure I hadn’t missed any sort of light or whatever on Viren (nothing but his tear) and realized how different the stone spell overtaking Viren and Callum actually looks in terms of colouring. Viren’s is a solid dark purple, almost more dark magic-y and along the lines of what he used on Thunder, which makes sense; he set about collecting in the ingredients for revenge and his life took a rapid decline ever since. Callum’s stone spell is much brighter by comparison, white ringed in purple and moving in a more sweeping rather than creeping motion over his body (whereas Viren’s spreads almost like an infection). It seems far more similar to what we’ve seen Star magic, specifically Aaravos’ glowy eyes, look like. Interesting, don’t you think?

Boss Battle + OST - Vestra/Darth Avriss (inspired by this post)

[Phase 1 - Heart of Chaos] - Peace is a lie.

Darth Avriss deigns to turn her eye upon you - a gnat, a parasite, long overdue for a mercy-killing. You face the might of a Lord of the Dark Council, heir to Kallig and Tulak Hord; the music heralds your doom and the struggle to come.

Her main moveset involves lightning and the occasional debuff, alternating between AOE lightning storms and lethal bolts at random targets. It is complemented with bursts of lightsaber attacks - moves adapted from Kallig's ancient manuals. Swift, efficient, but not the strongest of physical attacks. They deal less damage than lightning, but have a chance to deal a crippling effect.

She is agile, pounces between foes. Now and then, you hear her laughter amid the chaos of battle. She is playing with you, a predator toying with its food. She prods you for weaknesses and, perhaps, the potential to show her a better fight.

[Phase 2 - Divine Love] - (Terrible) Transcendence.

The Forcewalker reveals her full strength, and the music unfurls with a grandeur to match. You have proven your strength, and are now a threat in her eyes. She calls on all four Force ghosts tethered to her. Light grows dark. The air chills your skin. Death comes for you - en garde.

Her moveset remains the same, with increased damage. It is bolstered by four new moves, one from each ghost. Two lightsaber-based, two Force-based. Protect your healers - she wants to bleed you slow, drain the light of hope from your eyes, before dealing the final blow.

[Phase 3 - Almighty Bhunivelze] - Not all gods are of heaven.

Darth Avriss on her last legs - take utmost care. She is desperate, wounded, enraged. Logic is conquered by the destructive need to rend the world asunder, and drag you into oblivion with her. The music is still grand and intimidating, but incredibly discordant - reflecting her state of mind.

She consumes her ghosts wholly, absorbing their strength for one final blaze of glory. Almost all light dies in the chamber. The very ground beneath your feet shakes. The Force starts to unravel in her death grip. Her four ghost moves remain, but occur with increasing, erratic frequency. She is losing control, losing herself amid the ingestion of four separate souls, memories and all.

Put her out of her misery. Whittle down her health, pry loose her grip on stolen power. Leave her alone in her own skin, in her own mind, endure her last barrage of (AOE) lightning. Cut her down, let her collapse; a broken monument to her own failure, one final reminder of her mortality.

It’s so funny how rereading one single ya dystopian series has made all my daydreams go from something mundane and beautiful to like… “me and Bakugo are surviving a war against reproductive rights🙂” and I’m genuinely having a good time

oh my god... I just remembered something I saw a while ago which was (not verbatim) "drawing in what I think is my ocs' art style"... maybe ill do that.. :3c

[ I ended up ranting a LOT abt my OCs' art styles and their art content below the cut, so. yea. 🧍‍♂️ ]

Roo's would probably be soft, maybe a little rough because he's not 100% into art, I kinda see his being akin to Arthur's art style when drawing animal sketches.

Leo's would be veryyyyy rough, stray bits of lead/graphite around his lines cuz he doesn't know about pencil pressure, he would struggle with straight lines and be very against having curved lines (so a lot of his drawings come out with sharp edges)

Nirvanas art style would be flowy, as aggressive as she is, she's got gentle hands (when she's not feeling murderous ahsjabs), and would feel a sort of peer pressure from herself to have a flowy art style (applicable to her hand writing, I could see her having absurd cursive)

Hero would have a VERY simple art style, but I think the content she draws would not be reflected well in her art style, very... grotesque and haunting stuff. Aside from her grotesque content, imagine something akin to... a little more sophisticated stick figures? Idk how to word it sjsjsj

Onia's art style would be very... back and forth. When drawing in her own time and by herself, her art style reflects her soft heart, soft pencil lines, and maybe a little shaky, I think her own personal drawings would be a little vent-y? So she gets emotional when drawing (hence "shaky"). But when she's drawing for someone else or drawing in public, her lines and art style *attempt* to reflect her harsh mask, more angular lines, frequently breaking her lead (she silently gets embarrassed for doing this btw) and having much darker and harsher lines overall ig

I know I already kinda explained what my ocs WOULD draw in some of their blocks, but I'm gonna do a (hopefully) better explanation below;

Roo wouldn't do anything extreme, probably just some basic, simple sketches of shapes with eyes, or little creatures, like cats (similar to me when doodling)

I don't think Leo ever really draws, maybe just once in a while, in which case he just draws stupid and inconsistent patterns (just doodling essentially). I can see him drawing "vent art" when hes angry, which would just be INCREDIBLY aggressive lines and doodles and words like "i hate this" or something along those lines, reflecting his rage- BUT if he WERE to be drawing anything, I do think he'd be doing anatomy practice, he wouldn't apply that anatomical knowledge anywhere, it would moreso be a form of having something to do when he's coming down from a fit of rage (strange coping mechanism but okay).

Nirvana would draw. Women. I can see her drawing the most beautiful and diverse women, in an attempt to manifest the love of her life (that "love" being any woman to ever exist), she would go into an unexplainable amount of detail for no reason, quite literally sculpting in 2D/on paper.

Hero, like I said, would draw just. grotesque. disturbing things, I think she draws less for the fun of it, but moreso to record and jot down the absolute HORRORS that she's forced to perceive. Also her curse absolutely takes control over her when she's drawing sometimes, and draws disturbing imagery of her being k worded (not to get graphic or whatever)

Onia does not draw for fun either, she would (on her own) only draw to vent the frustrations of having to mask and being born the way she was, she also (on her own again) draws self portraits of herself, which have, slowly, gotten progressively further and further from what she actually looks like, making herself look a lot meaner or "beat up". In public, she just doodles, she does nottttt like drawing in public, sometimes her doodles turn into unprompted portraits of others in public, mainly people she finds interesting looking, or people who give off a certain vibe that she's aiming for, essentially jotting that person down to take note of their attire/vibe so she can attempt to copy it.

starting to tinker with noteblocks to make the “we have, we have, a different kind of love~” line in minecraft! there exists One (1) Kind of Love noteblock cover on YouTube which is definitely useful, but I think I’ll need to actually look up the notes of the song to make sure I get it accurate. it’s surprisingly difficult to do it by ear lol!

I’ve mimicked the timing/spacing correctly though, so once I’ve got it down I just need to figure out the most compressed way I can build it and then how to fit it into a room in / in the walls of my underground bunker ^_^ now that I’ve gotten deeper there’s plenty of space- might have it visible in a room, but it might be easier to have it behind the walls and just activated with a button so I can decorate as I please
