‘New Philosophy’ is a song about how to deal with toxic people and inspired by stoic teachings. I was reading philosophy at the time I wrote this song. The song's hook explains how to walk away from situations that drain you instead of contributing to your growth. The song also has roots in protest hip hop, becoming responsible and seeing beyond trivial matters.
