Starting Yet Another creative project to put together my own oracle deck since the one I have is... I mean, it's alright. But I don't really vibe with the art or the card meanings as well as I'd like to. So obviously,,,, I gotta make my own huh.
Details under the cut for length because I'm rambling to myself as I flesh this idea out
I'm using this pad of smallish scrapbooking paper to make the cards since it's a thicker cardstock (and it has nice colors). I figure I'll sketch out my designs and then paint over them since this paper can handle paint without being destroyed. Perhaps a junk journal theme using my large collection of stickers.............
Undecided if I want to cut the papers own in size at all, since one of my main problems is that the oracle deck I have now is hard to shuffle due to card size. Which is... also my problem with most oracle decks, tbh. Scraps would be used for other projects and things. Smaller pages would also be easier to fill, using less materials and encouraging overlapping things for a fuller look.
The other issue with oracle decks is that they just don't vibe. The imagery is usually nice and all, but the cards themselves don't depict things that actually matter to me and my practice. Even if the theme matters or I like the art, there's always That One Card I just don't care for.
Oracle decks, to me, are meant to provide guidance rather than answers. Advice for next steps, inner strengths to draw on, or energetic focuses to improve or deal with a situation. They add color, context, and flavor to readings done with other cards. This deck will be no different. My goal is to create an oracle deck that specializes in general guidance and actionable advice in a broad sense.
As for theme... I mean, it makes sense to center it around The Lady, right? The ideals and imagery I associate with Her would be a good starting place, at least. Maybe a combination of symbols I look for in nature (transitory signals between seasons and parts of seasons) and the Lady's direct symbols.
A list of meanings......
The Lady - Fate as a force, the larger whole, direct message coming through
Yarn - Connections, weaving
Knots - Tying, making connections, fixed moments
Crossroads - Choices, split paths
Death - Change, endings
Mushrooms - Decay, afterlife, resilience
Bread - Creation, rising, hearth
Pen - Writing, creativity, keeping records
Book - History, learning, stories
Paint - Art, inspiration
Key - Opening doors, opportunity, answers
Lock - Secrets, blocked path, challenge, questions
Door - Passage, transition
Sea - Depth, tides, deep knowledge, mystery, movement (eternal)
River - Movement (fast), travel, change
Butterfly - Transformation, transition, trust, day
Moth - Transformation, transition, faith, night
Stars - Dreams, hope, wishes, stories
Void - Space, nothingness, in-between
Moon - Phases, visions, seeing in the dark
Clover - Luck, good fortune
Broken mirror - Bad luck, poor chances, mistakes
Dice - Chance, gambling, games
Playing cards (poker?) - Games, deception, skill
Spider/webs - Trap, sticky, pattern, weaving
Tarot - Divination, the future, advice
Seeds - Potential, sowing
Flowers - Growth, beauty, production, fleeting
Grave/headstone - Death, grief, memory
Candle - Ritual, altar
Lighthouse - Beacon, signs, lookout
Eyes - Knowing, seeing
Ghosts - Afterlife, spirits
Bees - Industry, teamwork
Sunrise/sunset - Beginnings, endings (the only reversible card?)
Leaves (different colors) - Changing seasons, time passing
......and probably more as I start putting these dang things together. Once they're finished, these cards will replace the ones I currently use for add-ons in paid readings. I'm looking forward to making these!!

PAC: Encouragement from your Guides (Timeless)
Please intuitively choose a pile to receive advice from your guides!
And thank you again to the person who supported me on kofi and made it possible for me to purchase this beautiful Superlunaris deck! Not only can I share this with the blog, but it also allowed me to support a small business.
PILE 1
First of all, you or your guides must have a good sense of humor because we have the very serious 8 of swords, where someone seems to be very anxious, down, worrying, distraught - and next to that, we have the Hierophant, which is already a very spiritual advisement card. And in this card, the Hierophant is very free, relaxed. The people in both cards have a similar way of sitting, but completely different vibes. And look how the man is saying “It’s going to be okay!” Although, I think in certain cultures that means “asshole” but ignore that, lol. In most, it means “everything is okay or alright!”
I sense a lot of patience from that card. Not to say your troubles are small, but eight of swords is typically about making it worse in your head than it already is, which is why I think the Hierophant offers a more silly, carefree way of comforting you. But this is clearly a very spiritually wise person. They are telling you that whatever has been worrying you will pass and that in the future, you will look back and see it as not as big of a thing as you thought.
In regard to the specific issue bothering you, it could be about feeling stuck, or something not moving fast enough, or even feeling really depressed and down, like no one is seeing you, or there’s something about to crash into you and overwhelm you. But, again, your guides are saying it is going to be okay. That - I know easier said than done - but an adjustment of perception and thoughts would also help to get you back on track. To, instead of focusing on the negative first, to focus on what’s positive about the situation.
This pain, anxiety, worry is going to be temporary! Don’t sit on the track, keep moving forward!
Numbers: 8, 5=change/conflict around feelings of personal power or expression
Colors: Green (heart), blue (throat), orange (sacral), yellow (solar plexus)
There’s a lack of expression around negative feelings that have to do with confidence, creative, inspiration, or sexual issues. The actual issue seems to be heart centered and the solutions are in the expression, confidence, expression of desires or needs. It would really help if you spoke about what’s bothering you to someone, to think about why you don’t feel confident or good enough, or what needs aren’t being met and what you can do to receive them.
It’s the only pile where a major arcana popped up. So this may actually be a big issue, but it can also indicate what’s in Taurus right now might be relevant. Ceres and Uranus are both in Taurus. On a bigger picture level, the 8 of swords and Hierophant could speak of government/institutional suppression or dissatisfaction with the government/established-conservative institutions.
It could also indicate some type of belief (Hierophant) that causes mental anxiety, but it would be really helpful to look up Ceres in Taurus and read that or Uranus in Taurus goes retrograde around August 18, so it could be a significant date for you, particularly if you’re starting school, becoming employed by a school or government or whatever institution...
But I trust the guy in the Hierophant because I think this is your guide, and no matter the situation - global or individual - it’s all working out as it should and, in the end, it’s going to be “okay,” according to them.
If you are anxious about starting school in the fall, remember that the 8 of swords means you’re making it worse than it is, so if you approach the situation with a more optimistic or positive mindset, you can change your “beliefs” and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, it’s going to be fine - and then you will attract what you want. If you only think negatively, you may attract negative things, so it’s all about your “beliefs.”
---
PILE 2
Pile two’s often have a relationship vibe, which makes sense since it’s #2. It does seem like a new relationship will be coming into your life soon, one that’s equal and full of mutual respect or admiration. It can be platonic, love, familial, but someone you have a lot in common with, or you might simply be receiving a text or online communication from a close friend. I mean, also, you can just look at this and wonder if some of you aren’t about to sext someone, lol.
On the other hand, when there’s no visible conflict, I can look at the elements. We have a fire card next to a water card. That could mean a situation where a relationship is moving too fast or hasn’t come in fast enough. With the arrows coming straight for the two of cups, besides indicating a relationship coming in, it could indicate some pain entering a relationship.
(for the record, I picked up the cards to try and understand the conflict and the clock on my phone said 1:11), interesting again because the cards go V III II. I know that’s five one’s, but still creepy. I mean... cool.
Okay, here’s what I see - I feel like there may be a conversation that takes place between you and another close friend, I would guess to talk about your emotions. It doesn’t have to be that you are having conflict with this person, but IF you are having some type of worries or issues, it seems like your guides are advising you to speak to someone you trust and who would be empathetic, or already that conversation is going to take place soon anyway. You may end up grabbing a drink or coffee with this person to talk about life and such. It could also be that a friend of yours is in need of talking, as well. For some of you, this person will be a sister or someone like a sister (I mean, sure it could be a brother but in this image, I see someone as close as a sister, plus in 2 of cups it’s a reflection and they look a lot alike).
And, it could, as well, be about a love or close platonic relationship going to the next level. Perhaps you’re interested in a friend or are in a relationship but haven’t done much on the physical level, or perhaps it’s just that there will be an expansion in the level of intimacy you share with another person - via something physical or opening up to each other emotionally.
You could also or they are could be traveling to see each other, but mostly it feels like through quick communication such as online or text, email, etc... but the 8 of wands can also simply mean: very soon (or a lot of passion and attraction).
---
PILE 3
All the cards have had elemental conflicts I’m realizing. Pile 1 is air earth and pile 2 was also fire water.
So, we have a conflict in the five of wands; this can be petty fighting amongst people or a competition.
If it’s a competition, it looks like the results will be emotionally fulfilling or it’s a competition that may revolve around creative talents.
If it’s a disagreement among people, it seems to be tied to an emotional response, maybe someone’s feelings were hurt or, among all this conflict, the advice is to have some compassion.
It could also be that there is conflict around something you want to do, something that is a passion project, something about love, or something that involves following your heart.
The five of wands looks like a very dry, barren area where not a lot would grow and knight of cups is surrounded by all this lush land and water, mountains.
Where you are now isn’t a good place then, obviously. Nothing is going to grow in that petty and competitive atmosphere. Maybe those people are fighting over available resources or there’s not enough work to go around or everyone’s been working so hard that they’re stressed and lashing out at each other.
The solutions could be, leaving that situation and following your heart, because this knight is traveling solo and escaping that situation for a better environment.
If no one else is involved and it’s an internal conflict, again: You are being told to move forward, to follow your heart and whatever your emotions are telling you. There may be some emotional conflict, but the answer is to keep going, move forward, the environment will get better or change or you must leave and make it change for yourself.
It could also be that there has already been some conflict and you are guarding your heart or seeking some isolation in order to recover from an emotional wound. If there is a need to isolate to recover, make sure you are doing something that is relaxing and/or creatively fulfilling.
If you are a dancer or painter in particular, use your art to express yourself or relieve any type of stress or conflict. It might also help to go outside and take a walk or run, but I think the advice is to go alone into nature - somewhere where you can sit and take in the scenery or watch the sky.
There’s also a bit of chariot energy to this knight of cups, so it seems like once you take the “reigns” in this situation and decide to move past it, that the “ride” will be a more stable, slow and steady one, that also has you feeling more in control of your emotions.
At the end of the day, this is just... some type of emotional conflict and leaving the situation is the best answer as well as showing yourself or others some compassion and empathy. However it resonates!
In terms of timing I should say, perhaps this pertains to summer or even fall when this conflict takes place... and the reward or calm will come more in the early spring as there is still snow on the mountains... but the lake looks like spring. If that timing means anything to anyone, it will clear up by early spring.
If you’re entering a contest or applying for a job, knight of cups should indicate a positive offer.
If there’s a conflict amongst friends, you could be the best one to mediate as knight of cups is calm and empathetic.
And I SUPPOSE it could be that your live life has been barren for some time and someone will be eventually/slowly-ish entering the picture. They could be a water sign or someone who’s very sensitive, charming, romantic.
But... I do feel more strongly that someone gains or wins something from a conflict or competition... so I wish you luck on any upcoming contests or applications that especially have to do with creative ventures!
Thanks for reading!

My Review
SummerSlam 2016 is one long ass show. I’m aware that’s a bit of a redundant statement because, in the age of the WWE Network, every show is long and, more often than not, they’re also ass. However, the point still stands: this show is a whopping 4 hours and it’s not something you can digest in one sitting on a rewatch. For the record, I totally support making the SummerSlams and Survivor Series and so on seem just as big and important as WrestleMania. It’s fine by me for WWE’s Big 4 to feature absolutely stacked cards. Unfortunately, in modern WWE, this approach also results in the shows running out of gas midway through and some of the matches going on way longer than they should. The 2016 edition of the summer classic isn’t exactly the worst example of this trend, but it definitely shows similar signs of fatigue.
On top of that, it’s such a heel-dominated show. It’s only occasionally satisfying. In their crusade to make the audience finally embrace Roman Reigns, the WWE would pile on the heel victories in hopes the crowd would pop like crazy once the Big Dog got the W in the main event. It’s inherently flawed psychology to think the crowd is just going to accept a long-awaited face win from just anybody. That can really only work in a particular situation. Needless to say, it often failed because while Roman would get the W, the crowd still hated him. Worse here is that he doesn’t even wrestle on this show. So who was this booking supposed to benefit? I guess you could make the argument for Finn Balor, whose Universal title win remains a highlight of his WWE tenure. Even then, it was rendered irrelevant 24 hours later, as Balor would vacate the title due to injury.
With all that in mind, it shouldn’t be surprising that such a heel-heavy show ends on a rather depressing note. Brock Lesnar pummels Randy Orton into a bloody mess and that’s it. That’s the show. Fade to black. It would’ve been fine if placed somewhere in the middle of the card, but it’s such an awkward way to close up shop. They did have a pretty workable story going into the match, and I’m not gonna pass up the rare occasion to see Orton get beaten into oblivion, but talk about deflating. The whole thing winds up looking like a pale imitation of Lesnar’s squash of John Cena back at SummerSlam 2014. Oh, and there’s some drama with Shane McMahon at the end because, as we all know, that’s exactly what the WWE needs: more McMahon family drama!
The far more successful dream match is John Cena vs AJ Styles. Truly something special. It’s essentially the same finishing move and near-fall spam fest that plagues every major WWE main event, but I don’t mind it here. This is meant to be an epic blockbuster between two of the biggest stars in wrestling of the post-Monday Night War era. It makes perfect sense for both guys to throw all of their deadliest ammunition at each other right out of the gate. Styles was in the midst of one of the hottest stretches of his career at this point, but Cena deserves just as much credit here. It’s kind of amazing. For all the times he’s proven that he can rise to the occasion in a big match situation, there are still anti-Cena bros to this day who’ll deny it every step of the way. His record of putting people over isn’t perfect, especially at SummerSlam, but what he does for AJ here is pretty selfless. I don’t think even his haters can deny that.
Overall, SummerSlam 2016 isn’t a bad show by any means but, again, the length ensures it will inevitably start to drag. A shame, because there’s probably a pretty good show somewhere in here. It’s nice that the WWE is trying to make the biggest party of the summer feel important, but too much partying can make even the most diehard fan eventually feel pooped.
My Random Notes
I can only imagine what someone like Jon Stewart really thinks of WWE’s comedy. I mean, he’s probably had plenty of experience doing his best with bad material, but you’d have to think he had to grin and bear it here at several points.
In light of Sasha Banks’ recent spat with the company, I can really see why she’d be frustrated with her booking. Would it have killed them to have her hold the Women’s title for longer than a month? I know an injury is cited as the official reason she dropped the belt here, but it’s still the first of several instances of them yanking the rug out from under her.
Man, Enzo and Cass were so frickin’ over. They’re such laughing stocks now that it’s quickly become lost to time how much the fans were digging them. Of course, they only have themselves to blame for fucking it all up, but they really did have something special there for a bit.
Dean Ambrose in his black torn shirt gives me some serious Bobby Heenan singlet vibes.
Funny how the pre-match hype package for Dean vs. Dolph centers so much around who Dolph Ziggler is because, as I’ve stated here previously, I still have no frickin’ idea who Dolph is supposed to be. He’s some anonymous hybrid of HBK, Mr. Perfect, Billy Gunn, and an ‘80s Trapper Keeper with literally no individuality. I find it ironic that he later got into a storyline where he kept changing gimmicks only to never find anything of his own. What a summary of his entire WWE career.
Hey, Balor may have had to surrender the title 24 hours later, but at least this meant him getting another run with the belt in the future, right? Right?!?
Man, Nikki Bella was so frickin’ over. Why does it feel like I’m repeating myself? In all seriousness though, people can hate on the Bellas all they want, but in no way should it be surprising that they still get big pops. They’ve done more for WWE’s mainstream visibility than a lot of other superstars allegedly have.
Speaking of Nikki, crazy to think that she’s only one in the six-woman tag to not hold the Smackdown Women’s title.
I can’t be the only one who felt a little kick to gut when they showed fans waiting outside the now-deceased Toys R Us. I don’t need another reminder that my childhood is dead.
When did Lana drop the accent? I don’t watch Raw and Smackdown weekly anymore, but it horrifies me to know I let this travesty pass me by.
I know some people were upset they allowed The New Day to surpass Demolition’s record for the longest reign as tag champs but I’m totally okay with the decision. Sure, they occasionally get into terrible storylines like this ringpostitis shit, but they’re incredibly over, sell a ton of merchandise, and can wring out some entertainment from even the worst material. If they really wanted to insult Demolition, they should’ve given that honor to The Ascension.

9 Wrestlers Who Would Have Won King Of The Ring In The 2000s
Let's say the tournament was never stopped however. Who would have reigned as king throughout the 2000s? Allow me to get hypothetical, and fantasy book myself some King of the Rings for the first decade of the new millennium Source
2003 - King Chris Benoit
The King of the Ring pay-per-view was disestablished in 2002, with Brock Lesnar being the final king crowned. From 1996 until then the tournament was used to further establish someone seemingly moving towards the upper echelons of the card, although Billy Gunn's reign in 1999 stands out as something of an anomaly.
The final three kings were Kurt Angle, Edge and Lesnar, so for the 2003 winner I'll go with a man who was involved with all three at various points of his career. Chris Benoit was on his way to a career-defining moment at WrestleMania XX, but in 2003 he was still gaining the momentum that would see him finally reach the top of the mountain.
This could feasibly have led to him unsuccessfully challenging Kurt Angle or Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, or even both in a triple threat. This could have bled nicely into his Royal Rumble win and subsequent WrestleMania triple threat, with the added story element of his past three-way failings.
As for the KotR tournament itself, let's have Benoit defeating Rey Mysterio in the semi-finals, followed by a win over Chris Jericho in the final.
2004 - King Christian
2004 was a fairly standard year in the career of Christian. He got a big singles win at WrestleMania XX over Chris Jericho, but ended the year teaming with his problem solver Tyson Tomko after spending a few months out with injury. He returned from injury in August of 2004, so I'm putting him down as the return winner of King of the Ring for that year.
Much like Owen Hart a decade earlier, Christian's character back in 2004 was the perfect fit for the obnoxiously smug king. He wouldn't have shut up about his royal position, and King Captain Charisma would have been a riot. Tomko wouldn't have been an ordinary 'problem solver' either, but would surely have been given some sort of ridiculous royal moniker to go with his deeds.
Christian feuded with Jericho for the majority of the year, so let's have the two facing off one last time in the finals of the tournament. In the semis, let's have Shelton Benjamin and Carlito coming up short respectively.
2005 - King Eddie Guerrero
Eddie Guerrero died in November 2005, but the year he had prior was stellar to say the least. He began it by winning tag gold with good buddy Rey Mysterio, before a friendly competitive match between the two at WrestleMania saw Latino Heat spiral into what looked like a mental breakdown. A heel turn followed, kicked off by the greatest promo of his entire career, and a classic feud with Rey.
Before his death, Eddie was moving towards World Championship contention by tweening his way around then-champion Batista. A King of the Ring victory would have been another feather in his Hall of Fame cap, and also guarantee him that shot against his 'buddy' Batista. Eddie would have also been the last truly established main event performer to win the tournament.
By 2005, the brand split was fully entrenched in the WWE mindset, so the draw would have been a covert SmackDown vs. RAW job too. Eddie would have prevailed in the SmackDown half by defeating Bobby Lashley, and Latino Heat would have gone on to defeat RAW superstar Shawn Michaels in the final, possibly kick-starting a feud that would have gone all the way to WrestleMania if tragedy hadn't befell the Guerrero family.
2007 - King Umaga
I can't envisage any other individual winning the 2007 King of the Ring other than the Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga. The former Jamal was on a tear by 2007, and even had the backing of Vince McMahon as he acted as the Chairman of the Board's enforcer.
Umaga came up short at WrestleMania against Lashley, leading to Vince getting his head shaved, but the alliance continued after the Show of Shows. King of the Ring in 2007 would have been specifically designed for Umaga to win, with Vince guaranteeing a seemingly safe passage to the finals for his man.
Umaga would have run through Colin Delaney in the first round, Tommy Dreamer in the second before defeating CM Punk in a hard fought semi final. As for the final, I'm going with Umaga vs. Finlay, sowing more seeds in the Vince/Finlay story that centred around Hornswoggle, although now I'm sad that I remembered that story.
2009 - King Kofi Kingston
2009 would have seen the first babyface King for six years, as Kofi Kingston is my tip for walking away with the crown in that year.
Kofi was on the cusp of a big push that year, gaining entry into the Elimination Chamber before Edge stopped him from getting involved. He also competed in the Money in the Bank ladder match that year, a match that was won by CM Punk. Kofi was there or thereabouts throughout.
Kingston also won the United States Championship that year, so it is fair to say there was a decent amount of faith in the man from Ghana, West Africa. As for the tournament itself, 2009 saw a crop of new talent come through the ranks, so let's have Kofi defeat The Miz in the semi finals before besting Drew McIntyre in the final.
I'm going to King Kofi in 2009, although it would make for a whole year of fear over whether WWE would abbreviate it or not. What are you thinking, WWE?
2011 - King Miz
Much like Eddie Guerrero in 2005, 2011 saw The Miz enter something of a rebuilding period. He had lost his WWE Championship to John Cena, and was about to return to the middle of the card to do a whole lot of not very much. He teamed with R-Truth for a bit, won the odd big match and generally teased a face turn the whole turn.
As such, The Miz winning King of the Ring in 2011 is the perfect 'well, we're not sure who else to go with' sort of deal. 2011 wasn't a great year for the company in general, with the emergence of CM Punk as a top level player the only moment of joy that was quickly squashed by Kevin Nash of all people.
Alberto Del Rio was another option for winning the crown, but he had enough support throughout the year. Let's go with The Miz beating John Morrison in the semi finals, followed by a win over plucky underdog Evan Bourne in the final.
2012 - King Damien Sandow
World Wrestling Entertainment's interest in the King of the Ring gimmick was long dead by 2012, but if it had been kept alive then I'm fairly sure its importance would still have lessened by then. Money in the Bank would have long replaced it as the vehicle for establishing men in the main event, and King of the Ring would have mostly served as a vehicle for new stars.
Damien Sandow arrived on WWE TV in April 2012, and was immediately positioned as a performer to keep an eye on. His pompous gimmick would have been exacerbated by the crown, and his various nicknames were well suited to gaining royal appendages. King Damien Sandow is extremely easy to imagine.
The tournament itself would have featured a number of guys in the middle of the card, with Sandow coming out on top in the finals against former King Christian, after besting Tyson Kidd in the semis.
2013 - King Fandango
Continuing the 2012 presentation of the tournament, 2013 would have seen another recently arrived heel win the crown, further establishing himself on the roster. If Fandango hadn't been concussed by Zack Ryder in June of that year, there is every chance he would have gone into the tournament as Intercontinental Champion but alas, history and brains denied him that strap.
A dancing King would have been a fun side over the second half of the year, and winning the tournament would have further established the former Johnny Curtis' abilities inside the ring. On his way to the final Fandango could have defeated El Torito in a 'hilarious' opening match, followed by victories over The Miz and R-Truth before coming up against Big E. Langston in the final.
As much fun as King Big E. would have been, let's go with the Dancing King, young and sweet, Fandango.
2014 - King Rusev
After two years of fairly low-key presentation, the King of the Ring tournament would have returned with a bang in 2014. The man to stand tall at the end would have been the same man who received arguably the biggest push of the latter half of the year, a man who wasn't pinned all the way up until WrestleMania 31.
I'm talking, of course, about Rusev.
Rusev enjoyed his medals and his awards, so adding the crown to his list of accolades (har har har) is a no-brainer. The image of Rusev being crowned as the Russian flag unfurls behind him would have gained huge amounts of heat from the crowd. And anyway, who wouldn't have loved to have seen Queen Lana?
The tournament could very well have been stacked, with Rusev having to go through 2013 finalist Xavier Woods, Big E. and Big Show before coming up against Ryback in the final. Rusev vs. Ryback, with Ryback tapping to the Accolade in the middle of the ring.
All hail King Rusev!
I don’t have any details for 2016-2018 But I do some ideas as to who could’ve been KOTR
2016-King Roman Reigns
2017-King Kevin Owens
2018--King Braun Strowman
