Top 3 Ships: HOLY SCHMOLY HOW DO YOU PICK THREE??? OK OK OK, at the moment... I mean, the Leverage OT3. I would die for Eliot, Parker, and Hardison. Like, actually though. John Rogers has blessed us with canon OT3 and I’m dead. Then there’s Amida (Amae and Elida) from Vagrant Queen. AKA I’m going to scream about this show until they undo the cancellation because I’m MAD. And then, for number 3, I’m just gonna list ships that are killing me ATM because there are SO MANY MORE THAN 3: Queliot (The Magicians), Janto (Torchwood), Doctor x Rose (Doctor Who), The Librarians OT3, Punnihawk OT3 (M*A*S*H), Hinny (Harry Potter)... I’m gonna stop now because this is ridiculous but just know that this list isn’t even CLOSE to over.
Last movie you watched: Hamilton!!! It was so fucking good! Like, listen... Are there problematic elements? It’s the founding fathers. Of course there are. Do they do Peggy really dirty and run into a writing problem by introducing her and then doing NOTHING with her? Abso-fucking-lutely. (I’m really salty about Peggy). Does it have historical inaccuracies? Hell yes. Am I super mad that they didn’t film on a night when Emmy Raver-Lampman was on stage? Yes. Probably more than is healthy. BUT LISTEN!!!! THE MUSIC! THE LYRICS! THE ACTING! THE CHOREOGRAPHY! THE STAGING! THE LIGHTING! I LIVE! Also!!! HAMILTON OT4!
Reading: So almost everything I’ve read recently has been the Doctor Who novels, Torchwood novels, and LOTS of fanfiction. But, otherwise... I’m rereading “The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet” by Becky Chambers because it is currently my favorite book and I finally bought it. Other recent reads that I 100% recommend include: “Ash” by Malinda Lo, “Once and Future” by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy, “As I Descended” by Robin Talley, “The Gap in Time” by Jeanette Winterson, and “Every Heart a Doorway” by Seanan McGuire.
What food are you craving right now?: Nothing in particular? I just had some ice cream and now I want more so I’m gonna say ice cream? Maybe some cheesecake?
