❥ Chapter 2: Interview Phase!

Synopsis: The day after you meet the Saja boys, you decide to go shopping with Ji-yoo for your new companion Luna, that’s when you bump into Abby at the store, you don’t recognize him at first but Ji-yoo does. There’s tension between you and Abby that you can’t quickly put your finger on but you continue on about your day. Later when walking home you find a poster, stating that a manager position is needed for an idol group but it doesn’t state which one, you call in a schedule your interview, which then takes a interesting turn

It was the next day after the crazy encounter that you had with a group you now know as the Saja boys. No matter how hard you try you’re constantly thinking about them, and that crazy feeling you got when you were around them. Trying to push that feeling away you get out of bed to prepare for the day ahead of you. 

After taking a nice long shower, you decided to do your hair and put on a nice and simple outfit. Nothing too complicated, but still looking cute as ever. You pick up your phone and take a couple pictures with you and your new cat Luna, before making a post on your instagram and posting some pictures.

You text Ji-yoo telling him to come pick you up so that you can go to the vet and pet store together before getting some groceries. He responds telling you he’s on the way, so you start putting on your shoes and grabbing a purse big enough for the kitten to lay inside of it. You hear a car horn blaring outside and that's how you know that Ji-yoo is waiting for you. 

“Let’s go, little baby.” you say as you pet Luna before making your way to the elevator. You finally make it to the front of the building as you see Ji-yoo standing outside his car waiting for you to get inside. He opens the car door for you then he closes the door behind you, placing your purse in your lap, you start playing with Luna. 

“Soo, what did you decide to name the little rascal?” Ji-yoo asks as he reaches over the middle counsel to pet Luna. 

“Luna since I found her under the moon.” you say as you smiled at Luna as she purred while Ji-yoo petted her. He hummed in response before starting the car and driving off.

On the other side of town were the Saja boys and they were going crazy about the new post that you made on your instagram 

“Just look how beautiful she looks, oh my goodness.” Romance mumbled to himself as he looked at the pictures you posted

“Isn’t that the cat that was outside when we were there?” Abby ask as he also scrolled through the pictures

“Yea dummy, the damn cat followed her home.” Baby said as he continued playing his game on his Ipad 

“Of course you remember because you also followed her home.” Romance said with a snarky attitude before feeling something hit the side of his head. That something being Baby’s bottle that he was drinking out of. 

“Stop fighting you two…” Jinu said as he walked into the room

“I wonder if she’s taking the cat to the vet..” Mystery spoke up before looking at the photos you posted. 

That’s when all the boys paused taking in the words that he just said. It seems like the most responsible thing to do, especially knowing the cat was the stray. They all hummed before they looked deeply into the photos you posted 

“We’re going to the vet aren’t we?” Mystery whispered already knowing the answer 

“Yes.” The other four boys said before getting up from looking at the Ipad and putting their best outfit on to go see you again.

While you were walking out of the vet with Ji-yoo, you got that warm feeling again and this time it felt much closer and powerful than the other two times. You tried shaking it off and made conversation with Ji-yoo 

“So, baby girl is healthy but she’s a little underweight.” you said to Ji-yoo as you pet Luna behind the ears, feeling her bite slightly at your finger 

“Yea, which means I’m going to have to spend a whole bunch of money buying everything you need for her.” He said rolled his eyes before taking out his phone to find the nearest pet store 

“Oh please don’t be acting like I’m forcing you to buy anything, if anything I can get it myself I just need someone to carry it.” you replied, an attitude slightly growing in you as you walked off.

Ji-yoo just huffed before following close behind. 

As you continue walking you hear voices somewhat behind you 

“Who is the man with her?” One said in a slight low pitch 

“I don’t know but I don’t appreciate how he talks to her.” Said another 

Right as you were about to turn around to figure out who they were talking about, Ji-yoo pulled you into the pet store. You huffed, annoyed as you were thrown off your footing but you said nothing. You start looking and walking around shopping when you suddenly bump into a brick wall. 

“What the hel..” you say as you rub up and down on the surface before looking up and seeing a man’s face, a beautiful man at that. 

“OH MY GOODNESS!! I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have rubbed on you like that.” you quickly said as you bowed to show your embarrassment, that was until you felt an arm wrap around your waist bringing you back up to make eye contact with said man. 

“Don’t worry darling, this won’t be the only time you cop a feel.” the man mumbled. That same warm feeling that you got before came back again, you feel like you should recognize him but you can’t put your finger on who he was, as you blush slightly at the words he said. He smiles down at you before placing his other hand on your cheek. 

“You’re really as beautiful as I thought you were…” the man whispered before rubbing your cheek. You smile slightly at the compliment before feeling someone tug you back roughly.

“Can we help you?” you know that voice and tone from anywhere. Ji-yoo never really liked when others hit on you but that was more or so because he was like a protective older brother, always making sure that you were safe. 

“You can’t help me but she can” said the man, but you had a feeling these two know each other so you ask 

“Ji do you know him?” you whisper as you look over to Ji-yoo. The face he made back at you made you feel stupid 

“You’re telling me you don’t recognize who he is?” he said, raising his voice slightly. You shook your head no before looking back at the man trying to put things together. The man smiles down at you before glaring at Ji-yoo

“I don’t understand why you’re interrupting the conversation me and this beautiful woman are having…” He said practically growling ask he spoke to Ji-yoo 

“Don’t act like I don’t know what’s up..you’re just trying to play with her feelings and I WON’T let that happen.” Ji-yoo barked back before pulling you away to the counter to pay for the things you were going to get. You wave bye to the man before following Ji-yoo, he waves back before blowing you a kiss. 

You huffed as you followed Ji-yoo to the front 

“What was that all about?” you asked trying your best not to get upset at his protective behavior, but instead of responding he continues to ignore you 

“Ji-yoo, I’m talking to you.” you say, annoyed at him ignoring you. He finishes paying before grabbing you by the arm and rushing you to the car. You finally push your arm out of his tight grasp 

“What is your damn problem?!” You ask raising your voice because you were generally upset at the way that he was acting right now 

“[✮] get in the car.” He mumbles before putting the stuff he brought in the back of the car 

“No I won’t get into the car until you tell why you’re acting like this. That man was nice and kinda cute. You might just be dramatic right now!” 

“[✮] GET IN THE FUCKING CAR!” He yelled which caused you to jerk back and tear up from frustration. You shake your head before opening the car and sitting down, slamming the door behind you.

The boys were waiting for Abby to get back from inside the store when they saw what unfolded between you and some man they now hate. It took almost everything in them not to deal with him themselves once they saw tears swell in your eyes 

“I’m going to fucking kill him…” Mystery mumbled as he clenched his fist

Right before they got up, Abby walked over to them. 

“He’s protective…” He said 

“What the hell does that have to do with the fact he just yelled in baby girl’s face?” Romance asked slightly annoyed at Abby’s simple “explanation”. 

“The reason he yelled is because she wanted to talk to me, but he didn’t want her to. He said he knew what I was up to and didn’t want me playing with her feelings.” Abby responded before sitting next to Baby who was on his Ipad 

“What…that makes no sense, what could you possibly be up to and why does he think you’d play with her feelings?” Jinu asked before taking a sip of his milkis. 

“She didn’t recognize me, but he did. It’s just we’re idols so he probably thinks we’re just messing with her…” Abby said finally shaking his head understanding why the interaction just happened, but cannot shake off the fact that he didn’t like how controlling this man can be. Right before he was going to say something, Baby spoke up. 

“He’s her best friend, his name is Ji-yoo.” He said before showing the boys a picture of the both of y’all together, you holding the camera as you both made a silly face in the photo. The boys looked at the photo not liking how close the both of you were to each other 

“Why the hell is he in nearly every picture…” Jinu said before rolling his eyes at the pictures silently wishing that it was him instead of Ji-yoo. 

“Apparently they’ve been friends for years which would explain why he’s in so many photos. It also looks like she used to be a manager for a couple small music artists.” Baby replied before showing the group more pictures from your public instagram. 

“I have the perfect plan, it just requires a printer and a phone number…” Romance smiles before making his way to the car that they came in.

It’s been nearly 3 hours since you last spoke to Ji-yoo after his little outburst in front of the pet store. It was just you and him in the car since Luna had fallen asleep from being out all day 

“[✮]...” Ji-yoo finally spoke up, breaking the tension between the two of you, but he was met with the same silence he had given you when you wanted to talk. 

“[✮] please. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have spoken to you that way but you know how I can get.” he said trying to get you to understand him, but you just huffed in return. You knew he could be protective but cussing at you and ignoring you isn’t the way to address whatever problem he was having 

“[✮]...He’s a Saja boy. They play with girls' hearts, he’s an idol for goodness sake. I just didn’t want to see you get hurt..I just shouldn’t have yelled at you, I really am sorry [✮]...” he said practically pleading with you to finally listen to him and understand that it truly was a misunderstanding 

“I understand your protectiveness, but don’t you ever cuss at me again or it's your head..” you said sternly because you smiled at him. He pulled into the parking space in front of your house when you saw a paper hanging on a light post by the car that read, “Looking for an experienced manager for a new idol group, please contact 03-1240-5896”. You smiled knowing you could finally start working though you did and still do have a decent amount of money saved from your jobs in America. You end up saving the number, planning on calling it later once you and Luna get settled. 

“I’m gonna go take Luna upstairs and open the door so it’s easier to take the stuff upstairs kay?” You said to Ji-yoo looking over your shoulder before making your way into the apartment complex

Right as you walked away, Abby walked up to Ji-yoo. Ji-yoo was getting the things out of the car to make things slightly easier to carry inside when he felt a presence behind him. Turning around was when he saw him. 

“Did you fucking follow us here?!” He said, surprised at the fact that Abby was standing right behind him. 

“No, I was taking a walk and recognized you. I wanted to apologize if I had done anything to upset you, I truly like her and I want to be with her” Abby said knowing for a fact that he’ll still be stubborn like he was before at the store 

“I love that for you but she’s someone I value greatly and I won’t let some 개새끼 [son of a bitch] hurt her for some idol fantasy.” he replied before pushing past Abby, carrying the litter box and bed for Luna, right before he could continue walking, Abby picked up the rest of the stuff and raced over to Ji-yoo 

“Please understand that my intentions aren’t to hurt her, cause I wouldn’t be saying sorry to you if I felt like you didn’t have some influence in her life.” He said while following Ji-yoo to the elevator, standing right beside him while making it up to the floor you lived on 

“I won’t believe a damn thing until I see it. I’d be stupid to believe a 바보 [fool] like you.” Ji-yoo replied as the door opened, making his way to your apartment complex. Abby already knew exactly where your apartment was thanks to Baby, but that’ll look a little too creepy

They finally make it to your house, when Ji-yoo knocks on the door and as soon as he does you can hear tussling around the house. You open the door while Luna is hanging from the front of your cardigan, craws digging deep into your skin

“I’m sorry Ji, I know I said I’d be down but she didn’t want to let me go.” You laugh a little though in pain, as you grabbed her off your shirt and placed her on your shoulder. You noticed the man from earlier standing right beside Ji-yoo

“It’s nice to see you again…” You look at him confused trying to figure out who he is since Ji-yoo seems to know him 

“You can call me Abby darling.” He said holding his hand out to you, you gave him your hand and he placed a light kiss on the back of it. You smile slightly as you heard a huff from Ji-yoo when you finally cut the tension between all three of you

“Please come in, I don’t want you standing out here holding all that stuff.” You said as you stood to the side to let the men in. They placed everything down, and Ji-yoo started to unpack everything in the corner. 

“Thank you for helping us Abby.” You said to him smiling up at him as you smiled up at him 

“I’d do it again for you darlin.” He said as he returned the smile you gave him 

“How can I repay you?” You asked ready to take out some money to give him 

“Don’t do that, but I would love to have your number.” He said, smiling down at you as he pulled out his phone. You blushed slightly before putting your number into his phone and leading him out your house. Giving him a quick goodbye, you made your way back to Ji-yoo.

It had taken nearly 3 hours to set everything up for Luna but you finally did it. It was a bit late but you still wanted to try your chances with calling that new management position, Ji-yoo had left nearly 30 minutes ago so it was just you and Luna. You got your phone and called the number, you didn’t expect anyone to answer until you heard it. 

“Ahh…how may we help you…” A deep male voice spoke on the other end, your body stiffened like you recognized the voice from somewhere but couldn’t quite put your finger on it yet.

“Um. Yes I would like to apply for the manager position that was posted on the paper…” You said slightly shaken up from the person on the other end 

“Mmmm…What name should I put down for the interview…” The man asked, he seemed very uninterested and sounded angry.

“[✮]-” Right before you could say your last name you get cut off by a ground shaking laugh on the other end of the phone, before you could say anything you hear

“These boys…I knew there was a reason they needed my help and this is why!!” The man continued with his barking laugh before he got replaced by a kind woman. 

She asked your name again, which you gave her and you set up a date for the interview which was now 2 days away. You couldn’t wait, this is your chance to actually work and feel comfortable in your new environment

The boys had been sitting around the phone, listening to your sweet voice which was contrasted to Gwi-ma’s deep and intimidating voice. 

It was fine until he heard your name and started barking and that was when they cut the call and replaced him with someone else. The reason they didn’t answer the call themselves is because they were afraid you would recognize their voices so they asked Gwi-ma which seemed like a big mistake. 

“You boys are foolish.” They heard his voice blaring in their heads, unable to escape whatever he had to say to them. 

“Weak and hopelessly in love…foolish boys truly.” Gwi-ma continued to degrade them as he saw them asking for help to talk to their bonded lover as weak and useless. 

“Gwi-ma, we only asked because she could recognize our voices, it wouldn't be completely useless to want the surprise effect..” Romance mumbled before continuing to stay quite as Gwi-ma continued 

“I cannot help you everytime you cannot talk to a girl especially if that girl is bonded to you even when she dies.” He snarled at Romance's comment before huffing, not wanting to continue the conversation, disappearing back to wherever he came from. 

The boys signed, feeling relieved that Gwi-ma finally is leaving them alone 

“Lets remember not to ask him for anything again…” Romance said, annoyed at what Gwi-ma said to him 

Right before the others could reply a demon worker of theirs knocked on the door. Once allowed permission to enter, she talked 

“My lords, she has agreed to the interview process and she’ll be here in the next two days.” She said before turning back around a closing the door 

Before any of them could react, Abby jumped out his seat in excitement. 

“What the heck is wrong with you?” Baby said looking up from his Ipad, glaring at Abby for messing him up while he was playing a game 

“She texted me…” Abby mumbled to himself, he kept repeating the same phase before Jinu came up behind him to see what he was so excited about, that’s when he saw your name at the top of his messages and y’all had begun a conversation 

“When the hell did you get her number?!” Jinu question Abby causing the other boys to jump up 

“You got her number?!” Baby yelled, upset that Abby got it before him

“When were you gonna tell us??” Mystery questioned surprised Abby actually got your number

“WOW! Imagine keeping baby girl from me…” Romance said with a attitude that Abby didn’t tell him that he got your number 

“Yea I got her number when I went to her apartment…” He whispered hoping they didn’t hear him 

“YOU WENT TO HER APARTMENT?!!” The other boys yelled, upset that he went without telling them first 

“Yea..but we’ll see her in two days…” Abby responded, laughing slightly trying to lighten the mood, before feeling at least 20 projectiles being thrown at him at an alarming speed causing him to fall. 

The boys huff but they can’t be mad for long, because they’ll see you soon and once they get ahold of you they’ll never let go

yea i think milo is in kinda dangerous territory with how he interacts with fans, the parasocial relationships are actually so rampant. it's super sweet how he's always hugging ppl but it only takes one person with bad intentions or obsessive behavior. i just hope ppl don't ruin it for the whole fandom.

a lot of milos fans also kinda downplay the work or talk over fans of his costars too, they can be really aggressive and/or sexual constantly. i think his fandom is partially devolving into something pretty toxic.

yeah I wish he would learn that he needs to start acting differently. I've seen people get the wrong idea with how he acts, kissing and hugging them and saying he loves them. one day, someone who's obsessed will act out in a way that ruins it for everybody. it's a ticking time bomb waiting to happen, but I fear it will happen.

and yeah, even me, someone who writes fics about him and his characters and posts many thirsty ideas over him, but I can differentiate those as fantasy and not actually milo but somehow, regular people who I don't believe post about him to *this* level are acting weirder than me? it's kinda crazy tbh, because I can respect a boundary

and yessss it really is. I do sexualize him and his characters BUT, like I said above, I can separate the idea/fantasy I have of him in my head versus the actual man who has real feelings and emotions. it's a lot of women and the best way I can describe it is the equivalent to that scene in Yellowjackets where everyone was going after Travis. it's like this insane hive and it made me not really like milo as much anymore because of how much they reduce him, place him on a pedestal compared to his costars, and get super possessive over him like they're his. it feels really gross because this possessiveness didn't come until he became more "tiktokified" and it's women who want this new version of him instead of being fans of him no matter what he does. compared to me who's been a fan since the first zombie movie, where that was seen as "cringe" and he got constantly made fun of for being in it, i just can't help but get the ick when it comes to these women. (this is mostly evident in the fact that most people refuse to acknowledge his roles prior to Wally, because they just want to thirst over wally/new-era Milo and don't appreciate the person he used to be. name one ben plunkett or Nico Alexander fic or just a general post you've seen about it,, there are literally none for those "less appealing" characters.) i don't want to single women out but it's really them who I see making TikTok's about wally and milo and saying "that's my baby boy" and "feeling so maternal towards him" like its just gross at a certain point guys

it makes me feel bad for milo because we've seen his career path. he grew up overweight (from what I could see in pictures of him), was generally unpopular, kinda seen as cringe for his roles and generally gives off a nerdy vibe. I'm not trying to knock the man but this is just how his history has been, and it's a shame to see him get all this very deserved fame and attention but it comes with attracting weirdos who want to feel special and can't control themselves, ruining it for milo and everyone else

I hope he can just do the right thing and shut it down, and recognize that there is a problem and it'll only grow with the more he feeds it. I feel bad that he has to deal with it and ideally, all fans would understand that you have the right to say and do whatever online, but in person, there needs to be a standard set in place. it's literally so annoying because they really do see him as their own

Hi! I'm a huge fan of your work, especially your svsss animatics! If you're okay with sharing, I have two questions I've been wondering about for your "two times" animatic (which I have looped for an uncountable and unspeakable number of times). Yqy is one of my favorite characters, so I'm curious about the significance of him being in the opening of the animatic! Is it to show bingge breaking one of sj's precious things (or his only, really) just because he can? A reinforcement of his cruelty and power (given that he needed a trap to take down yqy)? Also-- it took approximately a billion rewatches to notice that bingge is the only one shown with white-pale skin of the entire cast; even the brief flash of sj towards the end shows sj with a more natural skin tone than bingge (although I suppose the very first shot from the animatic also depicts him with white skin). Is there some figurative meaning to that?

I'm more than happy to share my thought process behind my works! Generally I try to be hands off once I share it to the internet, but I do believe this mv in particular probably does need some elaboration. Also I love getting any chance to ramble so uhhh beware below it's gonna be a little long

For your first question, I am guessing you mean this one:

I'm sorry to say that's not YQY, but SJ 😔 And I don't blame you or everyone else who mistook him, since my tags on this post did not tag any of the characters and only mentioned YQY as a joke line.

I was aware that it may be hard to identify this shot as SJ because his face is heavily shadowed and the Xuan Su sword depicted is my own design. There aren't any strong visual indicators that would immediately recognize this character as SJ. I was relying heavily on depicting this limbless body cradling a broken sword, so I assumed just based on context and trusting the reader's knowledge of the 79 extras would be enough to convey that this scene is SJ cradling the broken Xuan Su sword.

(SJ's pose and tattered robes was intended to resemble a broken bamboo leaf, my attempt at another visual indicator as SJ, but all I see is a dried bay leaf dehydrating in the back of my pantry)

Also, another ultra hidden attempt at symbolism (lmao) is the red fire spark that cuts between SJ and the Xuan Su sword. I deliberately isolated and slowed that one single spark down to give it attention, placing it near the face where the audience's eyes are drawn to, that it was Bingge who tore those two apart.

...it's very much the "what does the blue curtain symbolize?" moment that I knew no one would catch at all, since it's such a minute and insignificant detail. I mostly put it there for my own satisfaction of making sure this scene felt complete, even for something as small as fire sparks, so yea...sorry to everyone who thought that was YQY, it's my fault for not being clear about it at all.

YQY may not be present in the mv, but symbolically he is very much there.

SJ's only other appearance is the very first shot of this mv and it's just his hand dumping tea onto bunhe. Had SJ continued his appearance in this mv, he would also have been colorless, his green robes as an exception. So the fully colored SQQ from here on is SY.

Which leads us to the second question of Bingge being the only one colorless. @color-coded-bear's tags are worth the read:

Pretty much nails what I was going for with his color scheme. I was going to address OP's tags in a separate post since I got really excited for this analysis, but I got too shy.....well now the opportunity for me to yap is now!!

Making Bingge the only one in grayscale was to differentiate him from Bingmei and most importantly, that he doesn't belong to the SV verse. While I love headcanons that Bingge would be shorter or leaner because he wasn't as well fed as Bingmei growing up, I wanted to remain faithful to canon. It was important that they needed to be easily differentiated at a single glance, since animation moves fast.

homestuck headcanons (intersex edition because i do what i want :p)

first off, the humans!!

jade harley (NCAH): honestly, it’s mostly just vibes. plus her whole thing is dogs n stuff. dogs have a lot of hair. you know who else has lots of hair? people with NCAH

roxy lalonde (AIS): remember that whole thing where hussie revealed the last two letters of her name first, so everyone immediately headcanonned her as a trans woman, then it was confirmed that she’s cis? homegirl can have XY chromosomes while being cis! bada bing bada boom!

ok now the trolls!! (this section will be significantly longer lmao)

sollux captor (Chimerism): first of all, his blood is literally yellow, so yknow. second of all, duality is a HUGE part of his character! it just makes sense for him to be a chimera to me tbh (i also headcanon that gold and violetbloods are more likely to be medically recognized as intersex but that’s an entirely different can of worms)

nepeta leijon (PCOS): same reasoning as jade, but her whole thing is cats. cats have lots of hair. you know who else has lots of hair? people with PCOS

kanaya maryam (Klinefelter’s Syndrome): most people depict her as being super tall, and you know who tends to be super tall? yeah :)

(i know that it’s kinda implied at all jadebloods are female, just let me have trans intersex kanaya. i beg. i grovel at your feet)

terezi pyrope (undeclared, likely Chimerism): i feel like she would really love to bring up her intersexuality while arguing with a transphobe or intersexist. she would also probably not disclose what her specific variation is so they couldn’t pull the whole “you’re just a fe/male with a dsd!!!!” bs. also, balance is a huge part of her character, so i feel like chimerism particularly suits her

equius zahhak (Hyperandrogenism): his body is quite literally overflowing with testosterone. man is literally sweating 24/7 and frankly, no other indigobloods seem to have as much testosterone as him, so we know this isn’t typical. they’re all strong, yeah, but this guy is on a whole other level. i just KNOW this boy’s skin is oily as hell

(also yes!! i headcanon equius as a cis guy with hyperandrogenism!! intersex doesn’t just mean “man with lots of estrogen” or “woman with lots of androgen”!!)

eridan ampora (PAIS): ok this one is one im actually super passionate about. in the og comic, all female trolls are consistently drawn with black lips (with the exception of nepeta, who i’ve already included on here). all the male trolls are drawn without the lips except for eridan. eridan is shown to have black lips in multiple panels! back when it was first pointed out, most assumed it was because of how feminine he is compared to the other guys, but you know what? idc!!! that boy is intersex and indulges in toxic masculinity due to his insecurity!!! idc what anyone has to say!!! also his blood is literally violet so yknow

damara megido (CAIS): i think she would get a really big kick out of not having body hair, periods or the ability to give birth. obviously there are downsides to it, but i doubt those would get in her way of having fun. i also think she would really like reclaiming That One Japanese Slur For Intersex People

cronus ampora (MAIS): mostly cause vibes and the fact that he’s related to eridan, so it’s more likely. what can i say, the ampora boys are very “does being intersex make me less of a man?” coded

dave strider (MAIS): i know that trans dave is a super popular headcanon and don’t get me wrong, transgender icon dave strider will save the world!! it’s just that for me personally, i’ve only been able to see him as an intersex guy. though in his case, i imagine that he would find out pretty late into his life. and like his sister, considering how little it’s affected his life, he wouldn’t consider himself intersex either

Yea Ratchet stayed behind in canon. I don't know why he did, since I feel safe saying that Arcee was a lot more attached to the humans than he was. I also love this AU, Oppy deserves to be a queen and carrying bitties. (Hive Queen Optimus)

There was definitely some Insecticon death, mostly from the dog fight around the Nemesis with Dreadwing and a handful from the Shockwave and Megatron fights. Not so many that the hive is feels empty but still enough that they want to replenish their numbers.

Anyways, time for them to return to Cybertron via SpaceBridge! Arcee, Jack, Raf, Miko, Fowler, June, the three Insecticons who become smol lizards, and like the four Vehicons that decided to stay on Earth see the ship off as it ascends into the sky and begins flying over to the SpaceBridge that is orbiting the moon (I know it's in space in canon, I forget where in canon though. I might be mistaking it for nothing bridge though, doesn't matter, SpaceBridge) and they set it to go to the SpaceBridge next to Cybertron. The bridge is activated and the Nemesis flies through to Cybertron. (something something Ultra Magnus's ship is also there since it didn't get exploded)

The Nemesis lands at the location of the destroyed Omega Lock and basically everyone goes out to watch Optimus take the Forge of Solus Prime and use what's left of it's power to repair the Omega Lock, keys and all. Optimus invites Soundwave, one of the Vehicons, and Predaking to turn the keys with him. Soundwave gladly does so, Predaking following a small bit of confusion before he realizes why, and the Vehicons push forward one of their own and tell "Steve" he should do it. The three come up to the Omega Lock and, with Optimus, turn the keys to revive Cybertron.

Everyone watches as Cybertron whirls back to life, lights spreading out all across the land and pulsing, highlighting distant ruins and mountains. Optimus announces that the physical AllSpark still must be retrieved, but they are free to begin rebuilding. Soundwave calls for any architects within any of the ranks to join him in planning out the first city around the Omega Lock, which makes Optimus smile and nod in approval. Predaking asks Optimus if he'll be safe on his own going to the AllSpark, but Optimus just answers that the hive won't allow him to go alone.

Optimus and some named Insecticons (probably, I dunno, Hardshell, Kickback, Sharpshot, Bombshock, and a few others) take Ultra Magnus's ship and start flying off to retrieve the AllSpark. Arazoma was probably handed off to... honestly Soundwave to care for, with the leftover energon milk being handed over so the SIC can take care of the baby (and he is very happy to be the one to be assigned this task). Soundwave also starts leading the planning of the new city, taking into mind what all the frame types require to move around easily.

However, when they turned the keys to revive Cybertron, Unicron reawakens and revives Megatron, taking over his frame and beginning his way to Cybertron. (I saw the post about shockstar in this au, if you want to say they're reawakened at the same time here but are stuck on Earth, feel free to)

Time passes as they rebuild and await Optimus's return. What goes on with retrieving the AllSpark goes as canon, though one of the Insecticons is the one to bolt out and get the container before the storm. Some Predacons notice something weird in the sky and the ones in the command/control room of the ship notice said weird thing as a powerful Cybertronian signal. Both groups alert Predaking, Soundwave, and Ratchet (who's currently the main medic so gets to be involved) to the signal and they head over to observe. Predaking doesn't recognize it but Soundwave and Ratchet do... as Unicron. The Hive immediately agrees to start building an underground network so they can make sure everyone is safe from Unicron and a message is sent out to the Iron Will (uh, Magnus's ship, that's it name). It takes a while for Unicron to fully get to Cybertron, though, so they have time to make said underground tunnels before he arrives.

Unicron doesn't have any Predacon bodies to yoink, but he has enough regular Cybertronian bodies to make his Terrorcon army, plus the moon those zombies were dumped on. Most of the Vehicons flee into the underground tunnels and all of the Autobots, Predacons, Soundwave, Dreadwing, and Knockout fight. Let me make it clear Knockout didn't want to fight, but Unicron turned his hubby's corpse into a zombie so he's very angy right now. There's waves of attack before they suddenly stop.

The Iron Will returns just as the Nemesis detects that Unicron is slowly beginning his way over to the Well of AllSparks. The ship lands and they quickly catch Optimus up to speed with what is going on. Optimus tells the hive to protect the AllSpark container and asks Soundwave if there's any containers similar to the one he just handed off in the Nemesis. Soundwave has to look through a few storage rooms with some Vehicons, but one of the Vehicons find a match. He tells all of them that they can seal Unicron within this container, they just need to get close enough to get Unicron inside of it.

The Nemesis makes its way over to follow the horde with Optimus at the controls as the rest of the main force waits to be dropped down and attack the horde. Once close enough, the same force as before drops down and begins the attack. It's... a battle and Unicron is a bastard, but Soundwave manages to open the container in front of the anti-spark and trap Unicron in the container. Megatron collapses and so does Unicron's army. Knockout immediately retrieves Breakdown's body as the Nemesis lands to pick everyone up. Megatron groans awake, even looks at him, and Optimus purposefully comes out to ask Megatron what he'll do next.

Megatron answers that the Decepticons are no more and flies away. Optimus frowns, but no one stops him. Everyone returns to the ship and they dump the AllSpark into the well, which reactives and now they can properly rebuild everything and go back to the Omega Lock.

... and I'm gonna continue this later, I'm having dinner soon and I can write some post-Predacons Rising but there isn't really any rising Predacons stuff later.

See the only thing I can add is like wow Megatron really just left, Remembers Optimus's cold stare as he killed him, there was no love as he died. he lost Orion and now he lost Optimus, He still doesn't realize he has a kid.

Also at least Optimus didn't have to kill himself to revive cybertron. That man just wanted to die, he went peace out in canon (I don't know if there was a real reason for why he did it, or if they had wanted to do it to close off Op's story, to bring RID15 and Bee as a leader instead of Op.)

Star and Shockwave reviving on earth, and after Unicron is defeated are stuck on earth With Arcee and the kids. Very fun time.

I need someone to write this-

OKAY! Basically, I love the stupid playboy trope where your character of choice is a huge playboy (usually in college), kind of a hoe doing hoe things right. Along those lines, I love the angst where they end up going for reader cause either they’re gen interested but keep up a facade for looks or do it for a bet.

Anyways, in au, character of choice is a huge playboy. Going from person to person, hottest bitch there and knows it. They decided to set sights on the reader for one of the reasons above. Reader in this case can be like a nerd or not (for me pls be a sorta nerd- they don’t have to be quite but like they don’t usually run in the same friend group character of choice does, also for some ppl- NOT ALL NERDS ARE QUIET, they will be the loudest ppl esp with their friends). Sooo, character of choice is trying to get with the reader, being all sweet and flirty. Reader isn’t buying this bs and keeps turning them down- until the cliche where the character does something that makes the reader’s heart go dokie dokie.

They eventually start dating and eventually do the thing right- and after that character of choice kinda ghosts them. Like either they get distant, makes fun of them, and/or straight up ghost them. This spreads around and reader is crush- popular or not it’s a sucky situation (I hope no one in real life gets put in) and is stuck with that for the rest of their senior year in undergrad. Luckily, they’re not a whole outcast so some people stick up for them but character of choice just doesn’t give a fuck (or in some cases does but can’t show it cause they don’t have the balls to do so🤷). Anyways, the whole situation sticks but reader keeps pushing through, ignoring all the shit but keeps going (they also have friends cause I’m not that mean and i think I’d cry tbh).

Fast forward, they graduate their senior year of undergrad. Whatever field they’re in they plan on furthering the degree cause they’re a bad bitch like that. But a month after they graduate- the big cliche, they’re pregnant. For this troupe ofc the reader is afab but feel free to have them be gn! If you so please (as an afab genderfluid person I pray for this but ofc whatever makes you comfy).

They panic obviously unsure what to do cause- they just got in postgrad, their baby daddy is a dick, and they’re not fully ready for a kid. Time goes on and they decide to keep the child but not tell character of choice.

(Purely cause I plan to major in it, maybe they’re going into marine biology or something performing arts like Idk. Realistically you could have them go into some sort of science thing or something along with business- idk I guess I’d like to see other and different careers stuff for reader 😭)

But yea, it moves to present day which is like 6-7 years in the future. There are a couple of ways this pans out:

1. They end up getting their post grad degree or whatever and work at the same company character of choice is working. Obvi reader recognizes them but character of choice (for more angst) doesn’t or does but chooses to ignore it feeling a bit guilty. They work together and reader is VERY closed off to them, ofc still very pissed on what went down between the two. But, they still work together and character of choice kinda wants to get closer. Reader keeps putting up more walls out of fear for what happened in uni and having to reveal they have a kid with them. Yet, some crazy event happens (their parent can’t watch the kid, something happens at the kids school, whatever) and reader has to get their kid. It ends up character of choice spotting the kid and freezing cause they looks exactly like them OR have a good mix of both reader and their psychical traits (like maybe they got character of choice’s eyes or hair 🤷). Eventually, the two have to have a serious talk and reader finally admits the kid is theirs. ATP you can have it where they decide to let character choice in since the kid deserves their other parent if present (as someone raised with an absent dad and 2 shitty step dads I can see all different perspectives of the situation). And blah blah blah, the character of choice tries being a good parent and eventually does and even falls for the reader (even more maybe). But obvi reader doesn’t trust them so it’s up to how you want it to end.

2. Reader peruses a career in field of choice (if you do follow with the marine biology idea- I’m giving you so many kisses 💋). Either cause they’re in the same field, they have an event that causes an overlap, or purely they see each other again- character of choice and reader meet. Again, character of choice can either not remember them, does remember but pretends not to out of guilt or whatever, or does remember and tries to show remorse. Reader just bushes it off and tries to get away. If you want, character of choice does try to go after reader- maybe on the edge of stalking but mainly going to their work and trying to talk to them or what not. Up to you boo. It all leads up to the same situation where the character finds out about the kid and ends up being apart of their life.

This idea came to me cause deadass finished reading a couple fanfics and needed more angst (and fluff) material. Idk why I love playboy troupes (daddy issues, trauma, being seen as special, etc) but I like when they change for the better or at least try too. Also, I just love the idea of having a family (with or without a partner cause single parents are baddies).

If I have the time or energy, I’ll probs write this but if not- if someone does end up writing this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAG ME. <3

THE WAY I GASPED - okay deep breath, deep breath. Did you know, I didn't have any idea why there were pictures of long-haired AND short-haired Luke on the internet? Even in the opening? I assumed he would get a makeover, maybe to separate himself from Asch yea, but didn't know when or why.

Wait let me - I'm gonna nerd out here for a bit, and I don't know how right I am with this, but I think in more modern Japanese culture, hair cutting is a symbol of turning over a new leaf, leaving the past being or something like that. And even if I remember that wrong, it still shows that Luke wants to step out of the shadow of what he was meant to be a - a mere replica of Luke / Asch fon fabre - and his own person. Such a great way to show that!

As for the conversation. It might seem like Tear is being harsh here, and I did say "OUCH" a few times over the dialogue because it just - is a big ouchy - but she is doing the right thing here. She is facing Luke in a way he has to get used to a bit, because people won't instantly trust him anymore, they will question him, he has to stand firm and resolute and use his head from now on! She is pointing out very important things he sooner or later will have to work through and work with, and it is a good thing she is there to teach him this. Also, she does recognize that he is trying and taking important steps - look at the face she makes after the haircut - and she does not want him to suffer, that's why she is rather cold when she points out that he talks about dying too easily, because she does not want him to!

HAH my boy is growing so quickly now. I'm a proud mom now.

Like Molly definitely does not want to admit she is being othered and not in a "I'm just special" way but in an "everyone hates your ass" way... so she definitely would be a massive jerk to Kieran at first out of some self-loathing/denial. Maybe not outright, but there's something inherently sour in using someone for comfort while two-timing it and also hoping their comfort aggravates everyone you don't get along with.

Because she would see him as "the only one who might listen" and confide in him at a surface level right away. Speaking to him just to piss the rest of the gang off, before realizing wait a minute this loser is kind of relatable that was not what I wanted to happen here... ending up trusting quick (again) and in her vulnerability deciding she's found a good one for realsies this time.

Because what does Dutch have, really, that Kieran does not? Kieran looks at her like she is the universe. Dutch looks at her like she's his universe. One of these men recognizes her beauty and worth beyond how it lays in his own hands, and the other is Dutch.

Fave season of ouat. And y. Go. (Mine is 3 bc that’s when you see hooks softer/ but still flirtier side and the relationship growing). Although 5-6 come very close bc they are stronger and the proposal and wedding. Ahhhh. But omg when he asked for David’s blessing. That ep had me. But all the kissing in season 3. Oh wait, there’s other people other than hook and Emma in ouat? Nah.

Oh gosh.... (edit: i wrote like two paragraphs of this before realizing you just asked general favorite season, not favorite CS season, but I still turned this into a CS post.)

Season 2 is not bad. There's so much there for background to understand where emma was coming from, versus season 1 which was mostly us as viewers learning who everyone was in the enchanted forest and how the story we know was being reinterpreted. Now it was learning where Emma was coming from, where Killian comes into the picture and some of his background, where Cora comes from which lays the groundwork for how she raised Regina and where she is coming from. How they became the people they became today, the steps of their recent history. The continuous choices and situations that led them to where they were when they all came together. I love straight up evil Killian. It's fun. Him trusting her immediately, him being sassy flirty, him saying "just a I'm done with you" (pssh, okay my guy). but at the end, despite it being good writing, I'm just okay about it. I mean yea its got Tallahassee.... but I also am not a fan of how they handled the neal/emma relationship when they were young. Michael Raymond-James is NOTICEABLY an older man well into his 30s, and I could buy him being a rough 20 something, but Emma is VERY MUCH meant to be late teens and that entire casting situation and its implications followed by the pushing in later seasons for her to be with Neal by her family just makes me so very uncomfortable.

Three is honestly such a fair choice. I love season 3 with Hook starting to realize he needs to change and wants to change. But also still actively having to purge his villain tendencies. Rolling his eyes while volunteering to help Belle research. His snarky comments constantly that no one laughs at cause they're a little on the meaner side. But also the way he and Emma so automatically can read each other. She just has to tilt her head or nod and he knows what she wants him to do. The longing looks, the declarations. Nothing beats "when I win your heart, and I will win it. It will be because you want me" NOTHING. "I'm in this for the long haul" after saying he'll back off to give Henry the chance at a family, and won't inject himself into that. But also knows Neal will mess it up, knows he'll be on the sidelines for the second of an oppertunity. Knows that he DOES stand a valid chance if he wanted to fight. Like, just fuck me up. The shift in Regina's character and how she learns to become good, how that is different from Hook's journey but they both recognize it being the same journey. Her teaming up with Rumple to fnd Henry and it markedly NOT being villains teaming up, but her willing to do anything to save her son and the second she realizes its no good, she's gone. Learning more about the emotional backstory and early character moments in their lives, Hook, Emma, and Regina especially. Learning the complicate pasts, and seeing the steps they took to get here. I feel like actual writing wise- its the strongest season for them. Its also go the best lines. Like Regina and Robin also is SO GOOD in the flashbacks and I forever regret not getting more of them in that weird flirty hate each other stage but what we did get was SO GOOD. "Where you come from, they bath in the river and use pine cones for money" Lana... ma'am.... that is THE BEST LINE in the entire show for me. This season had all the potential, and for that it gets a lot of points. A lot of what was built didn't get delivered on as well as it should have, but that's not the foundations fault. And this season was the foundation.

Season 4 is prime them in love. I love the relationship part of most shows when they handle it well, and I think THAT aspect was handled well. Him obviously in love, her coming to terms with what that means. So much angst in a good way of him being the reason for some of the problems she has. Of him not having his heart. Of him realizing he can't keep making the same villain mistakes if he's going to be with her, if he's going to change. If he's going to be a better man. This is a great season just like... FOR him. You see the realizations that he's made these mistakes and he can't even blame his past self. His current self did this to himself. You see the beginnings of his self-loathing and how that builds the reasoning for the choices he makes. He's had his hook for centuries, he's learned how to work with it and around it. But for the date, the internalized ableism got the better of him, and he thought in order to be a better man, and the man she deserved, he needed to be 'whole.' Which is IMMeDIATELY disproved when she doesn't even realize he had his hand until its pointed out, and also doesn't notice its a hook again later because she loves HIM she sees HIM. Those outward shifts and changes are not important. She notices his clothing change because it represents so much more about him embracing this weird strange land and showing he's sticking around. But his hook? Well thats just part of him that she accepts because its part of him so when he changes it its not something she notices. (sorry, i have a LOT of feelings about this episode) And then the whole darkness inside him and the hand and him being a villain and being afraid of losing his happy ending. 4b is weak we all know that, but the emotions of it are so strong. "Don't you know Emma? It's you." MY GUYYYYYY. The kisses we got this season, the emotional leaps and bounds. Him admitting having her in his life is what keeps him on the side of the heroes. Him saying he hopes its his job to protect her heart even when no one is actively trying to steal it. Her discovering more about her past and really starting to share her history with someone, showing her past and being vulnerable with someone and allowing them to scale the fortress she's put up to protect herself. Learning that someone is there begging to be let in, and isn't going away, and even when she ignores him he says basically that he's not deterred so easily, she's worth it, he recognizes that, and he'll just wait patiently for her to be ready. He will always put her first. Will put her family first. Often at the expense of himself.

Now season 5. Look. Do I think its strong? No. It's some of the saddest writing (season 6 is the worst in my opinion) in that it had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. But it Never delivers it. Season 4 was their love story, so there's no need to focus so heavily on them in season 5, sometimes having them not even interact in scenes that make NO SENSE for them to not interact. Despite the fact that she's just told him she loved him before being taken over by the darkness and saying she trusts him to be able to reach her and save her. Despite the entire ARC being ABOUT THEM for BOTH HALVES, the actual day to day episode to episode is not about them at all. So little focused on them, on them interacting, on their story. It was such a mess. So much promise with so little delivery. Nothing was allowed to breath, nothing was allowed to sit, no one was allowed to have a single thought to work through what they were going through. He's evil for what? a single episode? and in the middle of it there's this entire hour about a character we don't know, with no one we care about, about something never mentioned again that holds zero bering on ANYTHING that happens or has happened. So much wasted time. I LOVE what 5 could have been. I LOVE the implications, and the shifts in narrative and expectation. I LOVE the discovery and acceptance of their relationship and the confirmations we get. I HATE nothing is ever discussed on screen. Everything is implied to happen off screen "like I told you" Did you tell her when the cameras were off? We're given nothing we should have. Everyone else is just set dressing, and yet have all the focus. Its disjointed and just lazy, and its only saving grace is whoever had the initial idea on the brain storm board and then the acting itself. But damn if this season doesn't give me inspiration.

Finally, season 6.... I'll leave at saying when its good, its great. All three singular scenes that are good. There's no follow through from whats already happened to these characters. There's no acknowledgment of their past selves, their past experiences. I have a question that may be stupid. A manga I read has a character who is Cherokee and Japanese. She's based on a friend of the author's who is also Cherokee and Japanese (her father was stationed in Japan and is a recognized member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma). Some people in the English fandom have referred to the character's ethnicity as "Japakee" and I... I feel kind of uncomfortable with that term? It reminds me of WWII when Jap was a slur commonly used, and combining that with Cherokee makes it sound kind of anti-Cherokee to me. But I'm not Cherokee, I'm Japanese + Iranian American, so I went, "Wait, I don't think I get to say to someone else that this isn't an okay term. I'm not part of this marginalized group."

I couldn't find any Cherokee or just indigenous people in general discussing this online. Are there, idk, blogs run by Cherokee/indigenous people I can run this sort of thing by? I don't want to barge into your asks just because your posts come up when I search Cherokee, since that seems rude. At the same time, it's hard to find people to ask about this kind of thing. But I certainly don't want to be ignorant of what people in the actual marginalized group being portrayed think. I know I wouldn't want anyone ignoring what Japanese or Iranian people felt about a similar term used about us.

Hey there! I've been struggling with OCD since I was 11 years old. Nothing helped, medicine, SSRI, therapy behavioral-cognitive, no advice from therapists helped me get no symptomps. I desperately needed a way to stop compulsions.

Obssession : only about "sth" on my fingers. I guess it works on other obsessions as well, but I can only vow for the "need of washing your hands" example.

It's a compulsion like there was dirt on a hand so i would need to take action.

To CLEAN it from my fingers. Most common example is using water and soup.

We all know the washin never end and get heavier

But here's the thing 😱

I discovered that if you TOUCH the original source or the dirt instead AGAIN in a specific, trained way, the "dirt" gets NEUTRALISED and disappear. Lol, it's like hacking your brain in real time.

Like, when you play this game puzzle that you find two matching symbols and then connect them and they disappear.

It's like a high-five. You make a high five and BOUNCE out of the compulsion feeling, the feeling disappears. It met a mirror of itself, an anti-dotum, and dissolved into pure energy.

I know it sounds like exercising the very compulsion. But here me out. What if you REALLY did it differently. What if you invented anti-cheat? Anti-compulsiom for compulsion.

This method is usfel for example,

for creating a scenario where u can also do that without the original object, imagining you are assigning the attributes of the given, dirty object (attributes of dirt) to a newer, new apparition; a new object. This way you'll be always able to "un touch" the dirt on your hands. Disappearing it needs practise, whole bunch of training.

Anyway, how does it work?

The represantation of the dirt in a form of a thought or mental image, ancored to the object, is arbitrary. You may find it universal: interchangable. When you use this technique, there is a moment where the dirt has no longer "an anchor" to reality. Even your logic will tell you it's over, bc you can't feel it!!!!! And can't see it but it's obvious I guess... oily hand becomes a naturally sweaty or moistuired

IMPORTANT - I ONLY recommend this method for those who know how to work with energies and are open-minded. Also aquiring CBT methods and having digested them earnesy is recommended. HOW: Just when you recognize it, you will get the CHOICE. Stop in time to decide. I will talk about two choices, but there is more (move, throw, copy / multiply, change, record... anyway doesn't matter for the moment (gonna take a diff post).

To SAVE it or LEAVE it or DISCARD it.

1. Recognize it (observation and registration of the physical sensation without interpretation)

3. Reflect

(rough conclusion due to observation of facts) - it really happened! Something is sticked to my hands.

4. Focus on your ZERO Point. Find it. Go there. Withdraw into Point Zero (in the middle part of your spine.) Take a sit there, stay. Calm your mind. You still feel the sensation of "dirt" on your hands, but you feel it more like a layer of something sticked to the surface of your skin

Now the Magic Field... keep the understanding of the dirt, but now focus on sth else.

Theory involving Magic Field. Very advanced, do on your own risk!

5. The moment yoh reach Zero Point, do the tollowing: From the space of zero, reach out with an invisible hand and focus on the small chunk of space in front of you

(at the height of your chest, and distanced from your skin like 10 cm away). Make this small chunk a cube or sphere of space full with selection; like selecting the whole density of this chunk of space WITH your focus tool. Tip: You can use your focus tool beginning from the Zero Point. Like holding an invisible hand in the air before you, this hand is levitating and it selects space in 3D by just being somewhere. If you feel it, doesn't matter if it really exists.nd in a calm, careful, relaxed and concentrated way

My discovery is that if you proceed through two steps that require some practise, you can use your own innate native and natural ability to overcome your need for compulsion to zero seconds, and this way skipping the time of a temptation while in exposition from behavioral-cognitive therapy step.

Find your core, the deepest place you can access towards your spine, on the entire length or at least in the neck, head area. The easiest way is to try to zoom out, like focusing on your eyes and imagining you are behind them. And you are warching through glasses that are actually your eye borders hehe.

It's new, sounds like magic or another compulsion.

I KNOW it looks like a compulsion itself - but what if actually the method to defeat OCD is using itself as a weapon?

Honestly just kinda feels like I don’t have what it takes to meet the goals I’ve set for myself to socially and physically transition and live as a woman. I keep noticing doubt that comes up and introspection shows that doubt is all based in fear, lists of “im scared ___”.

But at the same time, any time I let myself delve into hypotheticals of what I’d do in an ideal world, those always have some degree of transitioning. Same with hypotheticals of alternate hands the universe could’ve dealt me. The jump from hypothetical to reality just gets messy because im, among many factors, scared of the hostility society directs towards trans/GNC people.

Sometimes it just feels like I kinda need to recognize I’d have preferred being a different AGAB and then trudge on in the status quo. The feeling isn’t persistent though since I always end up having to express my femininity somehow.

And the limbo this keeps me in is frustrating. I feel awkward and unseen in cis spaces, but pass as cis in my AGAB still. I feel fraudulent in trans spaces because I feel like my lack of certainty in my identity makes my participation disingenuous. I worry being openly trans will make life in a cisnormative society more difficult than I can handle. I worry resignation to presenting as my AGAB will feel like I lied to the friends I have in the trans community. I feel like romantic connections are taboo for me because I don’t want to gender switcharoo a partner who isn’t able to support me through it, and also don’t want to put a partner who knows me as my preferred gender in a bind if I don’t follow through on social transition.

Yea tbf there’s lots of flaws in the logic of what im saying there but it’s all just me dumping my thoughts so i can sleep. Brain does brain and sometimes brain doesn’t rational. Like i feel like a genuine life partner and healthy relationship should be able to weather gender identity fluctuation, and know I don’t owe an identity or conformance of identity to anyone. But like, a lot of what I described above regarding others also comes from a projection of my own feelings onto others. So like, in a way the ways im scared of my decisions affecting others, im also afraid of them affecting me in the same way.

Anyways, Friday was estrogen shot day and I’ve been just mulling over taking my next dose. The thing is I have this idea for a fic that I don't have all the details to yet. I love the idea that regulus finds solice in music, playing and engaging in it more than anything. Like I know with atyd we always associate sirius with that, you know david bowie and stuff but like why not both I say? It's like... At that moment, he (Judar) is not ready to face that.

Yeah I think my moots know why I mainly post rambles on Insta and Tumblr, it's cuz I usually do long rambles for character thoughts + analysis, and Twitter's character limit is super annoying for that. I tend to post discussions cuz my friends have insightful things to say (and I feel like it flows more naturally in convo format than just to summarize what they said)

I need to talk more about my Magi faves on here (I miss them) because I had many thoughts while reading, so I just roughly drafted ideas right now. I need to write my character/ship ideas down before I forget.

Me: I actually originally wrote Judar's last line as "Show me the kind of spark that charmed Hakuryuu so much." Because Judar makes a note in Ch. 266 that Hakuryuu is charmed by Alibaba in the fan-TL :) And also the official EN TL by Viz. They still keep it (whews) but remove the 1st mention of it, "What about Alibaba charmed Hakuryuu…"

But I don't tend to reference other ships in my ship stuff since I usually focus on ships solo. Like in my AU stuff, I tend to focus on just the ship/characters itself. Like I would rather deal with my multiships in their own separate AUs, since it’s easier for me to work with. I do love AliHaku though. But I liked that line so I still tried to include it though. NGNGNNG.

JuAli's "Love-Hate" relationship is soooo interesting to me <33 They're so sen-core.

Obviously they're more complicated than that but "Love-Hate" is just to simplify it

They're Enemies to Lovers too, but very different from LimGuda (Douman/Ritsuka) obviously. But they share most of the Sen-core ship tropes I love. I think JuAli has HoroRen (SK) kinda~ish vibes.

Like y'know. Yin/Yang. Light/Darkness. Protagonist/Antagonist. Angel/Devil. Enemies to Lovers. And then JuAli also has Fire/Ice going on with them. Sen-core meow meow mf/ship strikes again. I really adore JuAli and AliHaku, heehee. It's very typical Sen-ship trope core with their Sun/Moon/Eclipse symbolism going on.

My most favourite ships are usually Opposites Attract (the good kind). There are bad Opposites Attract ships out there obviously (charas who just bicker and literally nothing else). I'm just built different though. JuAli and HoroRen just fall into my kind of rather rough and violent end of Opposites Attract ships. Twink on twink violence is their love language /lh

I love Opposites Attract ships that are also combined with any of these tropes: Narrative parallelism (Yin/Yang, Light/Darkness, Sun/Moon tropes), Protagonist x Rival/Antagonist/Opposing Figure, Apoptosis, Reconciliation of Opposites, Fated Enemies/Rivals, etc.

Re: My Writing Ideas

Me: I don't really post my writing ideas on main cuz my dialogue scripts are more like guidelines for me to practice writing dialogue for comics, and also to help me remember my art ideas. I write down my ideas so that I don't forget them (cuz they come to me spontaneously during the day), and also so that I can hopefully turn them into comics one day 🙏

My mutuals/friends can read them though! I post them because I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to turn my ideas into art form, and because I think the dialogue scripts are interesting to read.

Also me doing this still technically counts as a form of art. Even if they're written almost like play format, it's still a form of creative writing

I've definitely gotten sm better at it like I've been refining the way I write Idate's dialogue (and other WATGBS AU charas) over time

Because when I write these scenario ideas down, I think in terms of visuals. When the ideas come to my head, I imagine and see them all visually in my head. I'm a much more visual person, so I see things through visuals, and then try to turn them into words.

I think I first started critically engaging with and analyzing media at 18 (which is a good thing, because art is a form of expression and social commentary). I think I only really got good at doing media analysis at 18+ and it refined even more at 19 - 21+

It used to be so hard for me to put my thoughts into words, but I got much better at it through practice (by doing all the thought rambles)

But I'm literally so much better at analytical writing (ie. Series and character analysis, meta) than creative writing (ie. Novel and fanfic writing), so that's why I only do dialogue scripts. It'd be interesting to try and take up fanfic writing in the future though... But it definitely won't be soon, so I'll stick to my main creative form (drawing) for now

What the fuck is y'all's problem with this man?

Like, there's such a tone of 'Yea! Finally!! The scourge is lifted!' to a lot of the posts/reblogs I've seen and it's only been like two hours since the video went up and like. The worst crimes this man ever committed as far as I can suss out in the over a decade I have known of his existence is that he misgendered Kris Deltarune a few times (which is not good, yes, but judging by how the man conducts himself, I'm gonna chalk that one up to being inattentive and suffering from the cisnormativity disease. still bad but not unforgivable) and he's like... cringe. Crime above all crimes, you dared to inconvenience me by making me cringe with your Sans is Ness theory. Also that one time Game Theory covered an ARG, concentrating popular attention to the channel instead of the collective problem solving of the people who've Been on the case. Those two videos tend to be the things people cite disliking him for.

And like, it's one thing if people just blandly said 'Nah, I can't get into Game Theory, it makes me cringe too much' or 'I just don't like that thing that happened with the ARG' and if MatPat said something particularly meme-able people clowned on him for a week or two before moving on. But like..... That tone I was talking about now that he's said 'I'm stepping down from hosting and doing other things with my life' is just So Pervasive and has been for years at this point.

This feels like the shit with Guy Fieri all over again, except Fieri is a network television dude, so people don't have quite the same flavor of Internet Brain Infection about him than they do about primarily online personalities. This feels like a longer brewing version of the Lin Manuel Miranda backlash whatever. Why the FUCK does everyone clown on Lin Manuel Miranda so much? Why do they use recognizing his lyrical style/impact on musical theater like an insult? This whole phenomenon is bigger than MatPat, I didn't give you the full picture at the top of the post. This is about me hating how people on the internet talk like they're in their bestie's living room fucking around and not like they're in a public space where there should be like. Basic fucking etiquette and boundaries.

If you're one of those people who decides to be unreasonable to strangers on the internet, you'll likely dismiss me as a self centered anxious waif who's just trying to defend the old white YouTuber I'm attached to (he's not old btw, some of y'all have just developed horrible cognitive distortions about aging and think 37 is ancient) but I frankly believe that maybe we shouldn't be openly publicly mean to strangers as a meme. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii I just want you to know that my friend and I have been absolutely obsessed your fics and your Dew characterization. We keep reading them and then having literal book club level discussions about them and and honestly they have lead to our Dew brainrot getting out of control. Also I'm impressed the amount of range you have when writing. We read six of your fics independently before realizing all of them were by the same person. Like we would read one and then discuss and one of us would be like "well you should also read this other fic because the writing and characterization is so good" before being like "oh shit this is the same writer" so yea I just think you should know the massive effect you're having on our lives.

If it's not much, I'd like to know your thoughts on Dew's relationship with sex and how it pertains to his trauma. Although this fandom is primarily porn, Dew especially feels written to be super hypersexual compared to the other ghouls and it can manifest in interesting ways. Even if an author has not intended to write Dew as having an unhealthy relationship with sex, just the way that he is written in general by the entire fandom almost makes it seem like sex is the only thing he has to give (or at least that's what he thinks and that's how others act). So I've thinking lately about a Dew who becomes less enthusiastic about sex or even sex-repulsed and I'd just like to hear your insight on that.

So, I sometimes think that post-elemental-transition Dew is really not into sex for a while. His whole body is new and different. He doesn't recognize himself in the mirror. His body doesn't WORK the same way anymore. Even jacking off isn't fun--it feels wrong. Like it's someone else's dick even though he feels it. He's not as wet. He's burning hot all the time. It's just not right. He's not right. And the idea of other people touching him? seeing him like this? he hates it. He wants nothing to do with it. Can't even stomach the thought of having sex with anyone else anymore. It isn't the same, never will be again. I also, sometimes think that Water Dew was less into sex than fire Dew. Not repulsed, just not enthusiastic about it. It was fun. It was a way to connect with his packmates. It meant something. Fire Dew? he's good at it, he's confident. People want him. And if he keeps them happy they'll keep wanting him. They won't leave. He'll never be alone again. I really think there's a little bit of all of that in even my version of Dew. The ebb and flow of his sexuality. From sex is a fun thing I do sometimes but it isn't everything )(or even very much of anything) to I cannot stomach the idea of having sex. I will never do it again. Thinking about it makes me want to shatter into a thousand pieces to, using it as an unhealthy coping mechanism for other insecurities he doesn't know how to talk about. That he can lean into that ebb and flow of his own body and listen to it instead of constantly trying to fight against himself to be someone he thinks other people want.
