i finished season 1 oh god i feel sick

#this is the calm before the storm isn't it #also they're so 😭#idk if i understood it right buy #but* megumi told kugisaki to not tell the fact to the yuji that because he ate the finger curses are killing innocent people #because they would've died anyway sooner or later so it isn't really yujis fault but he knows that yuji will still feel very guilty abt it #and here we see that bitch sukuna telling yuji that him saving people is not the achievement everyone telling him it is because the people #dying because he ate the finger in the first place and yuji KNOWS oh god but he says don't tell megumi because #now this is the part im not sure aboit #he said don't tell megumi because like in the start megumi told him that we can't save everyone and what if someone you've saved later on #kills another person #so like is yuji embarassed????? he doesn't want megumi to know (nvmind the fact that he alr knows) because he was such a good person #at the start wanted to save everyone but now he can't stomach that people are dying because of him???#is that it or i understood it wrong

I had to go to a different veterinary clinic this weekend because my usual place is only open weekdays, and the vet was so rough with Grim, for no reason 🥲 like Grim was purring and trying to headbutt this lady and doing cute little meows (despite being so ill that she was gagging and mouth-breathing), and then this lady SCRUFFS HER to get her onto the scale. and continues to use excessive force in pinning her down for the examination. I've been to 12 years worth of vets with Grim, and I've never seen someone act this way. it was so stressful.

on the bright side thought, this vet was obviously component in other areas, because the meds are already working. she's on antibiotics and something to help her airways open (because the throat infection triggered pre-existing asthma), and it's obvious she feels so much more comfortable.

#too many sick animals this year 😭#I guess it's just because Pangur and Grim are getting old #so they're a lot more vulnerable to stuff #though also neither of them would have gotten this sick if not for the week-long trip to my parent's place #travelling is super stressful for them

I love the idea of teenage Malleus hating his new baby brother Silver but slowly falling for him

words cannot express how much I adore that Mal's reaction to seeing a human baby for the first time was "the fuck is this. why does it look like that. gross." (then he immediately got stuck on babysitting duty and the rest is history)

I am SUCH a sucker for that trope of "non-humans being fascinated by normal human behavior", so between that and all the delicious angst going on I was eating VERY well. >:) Malleus being so impressed that two-year-old Silver can walk, because it took him twenty years to stand on two legs! Lilia barging in on the Zigvolts at 2 AM being like "he won't stop crying what do I do"! Lilia trying to feed Silver rats and Malleus being like "...please just stick with what the books say to feed it"! it is all so. chef's kiss.

A considerable amount of makeup was used to cover Deeva's freckles and face marks, and Cater also had to use magic to make her clothes his size. They did this as a joke, but they sure were committed to it! 💪

i need more Steve being a nuisance in Eddie's life.

don't get me wrong, i love the reverse, but just picture: Eddie acting all tough and in your face and Steve turning the charm up to a thousand with him, always pressing and pressing until he breaks through, until he makes Eddie snarl or fume or god forbid blush.

Steve playing up their competition, Eddie refusing to take his ideas seriously just on principle and Steve getting all up in his space when they work, saying "I told you, Munson" or "see? I was right, and you were wrong" and Eddie bares his teeth to him all mean and scary, but it doesn't scare Steve, he's all bark and no bite. Unfortunately.

Steve being overly sweet and flirty just to get on Eddie's nerves, catching Eddie staring and saying "you like what you see, Eds?" and Eddie's almost convincing with his "There's blood on your side. You should patch that up, Harrington" spitting out his name like it's a dirty word. It almost works, if only Eddie wasn't blushing so hard.

Instead Steve only grabs his chin and says "no need to worry, baby, i got it", throwing in a wink for good measure. Eddie yanks his face away and storms out, cigarette pack already out.
