logan howlett (wolverine) fought in the civil war and has an alcohol problem. i have reason to suspect that he was drinker of “soldier’s joy” which was a combination of beer, whiskey and morphine given to civil war soldiers to numb their pain.

wade wilson consumes drugs on the regular including coke. he probably has morphine lying around his apartment somewhere. since him and logan live together i have a reasonable suspicion that logan introduces him to soldier’s joy. logan likely did not intend to introduce him to the beverage, wade probably just took a swig of whatever logan was drinking
