"Cardi" or "Copia"?

one of my controversial hot take behaviors in this fandom is my insistence on only using the names "Cardi" or "C" to refer to Cardinal Copia / Papa Emeritus IV / Frater Imperator, while probably 99% of the fandom says "Copia" instead, but i think it's weird that i'm even in the minority on this matter since, in the entire 7+ years since this character debuted, there's been a grand total of ONE time that a piece of official Ghost media has ever called him "Copia" (and it was the narrator in Metal Myths LOL), and off the top of my head, i know of just ONE interview where TF called him "Copia".

DISCLAIMER!!!! i'm not the boss of anyone and i'm NAWTTTT saying you can't call him Copia. i just have the autism that makes me need to Follow Rules and i think it's kind of funny that this phenomenon exists.

anyway. he's called "The Cardinal" / "Cardinal" / "Cardinal Copia" / "Cardi" / "Little Cardi" / "Cardi C" / "C" in interviews and official Ghost media, but never just "Copia".

TF prefers using the name Cardi for him–

and i'm sure his preference for the name "Cardi" is apparent from the way it's the most used name for the character.

it's used for almost the entirety of the Rite Here Rite Now opening narration–

NARRATOR: [...] Papa Emeritus IV, also known as 'Cardinal Copia', simplified within the clergy as 'Cardi', has been touring with Ghost for five years– two album cycles, which is double what any of his predecessors were allowed. As his numeral name implies, he should be the fourth in a row of Emerituses, but he's technically the fifth Papa since his father, Papa Nihil –'Nihil' meaning "zero"– was the first one. To make things even cozier, the Mother Superior of the Ghost clergy, whose name is Sister Imperator, is Cardi's actual mother. However, due to undisclosed circumstances in this particular story, Little Cardi wasn't aware of their family ties until quite recently. This may sound tragic, and maybe it is, but we'll just have to tell that story at some other time. Anyway, lately, there's been a lot of talk, or let's say insinuations, about death within the clergy, and Little Cardi doesn't like that one bit. Any notion of his time ending, or someone passing away, has been a trigger for him; his mind searching for ways to circumvent an untimely ending of his time in the limelight. You see, Cardi feels that since he is not only young –well, sort of– and able enough to carry on as the focal point of Ghost for at least a few more album cycles, Cardi feels that he is a better entertainer than the previous Papas and therefore he should simply be able to remain in his position, and not have to face the same fate as all the Papas before him. Cardi has no interest in being taxidermically propped up in a plexiglass coffin, to be displayed before the Ghost fans before they get the pleasure of seeing and hearing some new Papa frolicking around on stage. Cardi doesn't want to end this tour, simply because it might end in his ultimate and premature demise– his death. However, this is not a tale about death, but one of life. other characters do call him "The Cardinal" and address him as "Cardinal" when speaking about him / to him in a professional capacity, as shown in Chapters 1-8 (2018-2019), when Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil only acknowledged him as a coworker because their family relationship wasn't public knowledge yet. and in the 2018 Special Sermon with Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator, they actually call him "Cardi C" LOL. weirdly, though, they also never say the full name "Cardinal Copia"– they just say "The Cardinal" / "Cardinal" / "Cardi C".

but after their family relationship was revealed, and when speaking to him personally, they call him "Cardi" or "C", as shown from Chapter 9 (2021) onward.

most people seem to interpret "Cardinal" as just his job title and "Copia" as his name, but for a long time, i've had the headcanon that "Cardinal Copia" is literally actually his legal given first name, and i wouldn't put it past Sister to have named him that, considering the fact that it's implied she legally changed her name to "Sister Imperator" (in Sister Imperator comic #2 she says "I'm keeping this name", and it's the name she uses at the hospital in Chapter 4 and it's on her prescription medication in RHRN and in the Skeletour VIP museum). this headcanon was partly a joke since it's a pretty silly idea, but i think there is some credibility to it considering the fact that his whole family calls him "Cardi" (including himself), especially woman who raised him, his aunt Marika (Papa Nihil's sister / Sister Imperator's adoptive sister / Mr. Psaltarian's wife).

like... i don't think his aunt Marika would say she's "always called him Cardi" if it was just a job title, since like... he probably wouldn't have had that job when he was a little kid.

when he was Papa Emeritus IV, he did want to be called "Papa" because that was his title, but he decided it was fine that his family didn't call him that, and he called himself "Cardi" / "C" too.

and after he became Frater Imperator, he asked people to call him by his new name / title, "Frater". but he still has the instinct to tell people to call him "C". so i don't think it's just about the titles.

anyway, all of this could change with the big lore updates that are happening in Era 6, but this is what i've observed. haha.

Meliora/Popestar Ghouls guide

I noticed some people still have trouble telling the Ghouls apart. Specifically Meliora era Ghouls. So i'll try to make things easier for all of you :)

Learning which symbol/alchemic element (which was Martin Persner's/Omega's idea btw!) belongs to a certain Ghoul is essential:

🜂- Fire, 🜄- Water, 🜁 - Air, 🜃 - Earth, 🜀 - Quintessence. The first Fire Ghoul was also called Alpha and the first Quintessence Ghoul - Omega. Why such names? Because Quintessence/Ether Ghoul had Ω sticker on his guitar and fans started calling him Omega and his counterpart - Alpha. These names just fit them perfectly. Meliora era was unique because neither of previous Papas, nor Cardinal/Papa 4 called Ghouls by their names/elements. Only Papa III did that.

There were few changes of lineups during Era 3 and some Ghouls were given different names by fans. Simply because naming their elements wasn't enough. Examples will be seen below.

Ways to tell them apart when they are on stage:

Their instruments and stickers.

They are placed in certain areas of the stage: Quintessence and Earth on Papa's right, Water in the middle, Air and Fire on Papa's left.

Different body types, eyes, rings, bracelets and tattoos.

The way they behave.

When they are off stage, on promo photos etc just take a look at their chests.

Even though every Ghoul has 5 elements embroidered on their suits, their respective element is highlighted.

HQ pictures are pretty helpful if y'all wanna find your favorite Ghoul.

2015 lineup:

Air Ghoul #1. Simply Air. Some fans call him Aero. Joined Ghost in 2011. No tattoos, no rings. Usually quite calm on stage, favorite gesture is🤘 . Was the tallest Ghoul till 2017. Had cool keytar solo. Didn't move much.

Pebble aka Earth Ghoul #2. Joined Ghost in June 2015. Smol (yes, smaller than Papa). Has intense stare. Literal beast when it comes to playing drums. Had a special way of throwing sticks to fans (literally footballed them into the crowd lol). Funny one.

Quintessence Ghoul #1 aka Omega. Terzo's favorite Ghoul. His butt was smacked and grabbed by Papa countless times during Year Zero solo. Known for his stomping, graceful guitar playing style, has big silver rings on both hands and pretty eyes. Has the cutest laugh. Did lots of interviews when Special Ghoul wasn't around. Loves Abba. Has been in the band from 2010 till july 2016.

Water Ghoul #4 aka Delta. Slightly shorter than Papa III. Joined in 2015. Sometimes kicks air (literal air, not his fellow Ghoul) on stage, also filled in for Alpha (when he injured his shoulder) and Omega for a few shows. Played rhythm guitar after Omega left. Has no rings, no visible tattoos, but has mad skills. Allegedly he's the one who tried to kick the dude who got on stage and kissed Terzo lol

Fire Ghoul #1 aka Alpha. Popular among fans. Hangs out with every Ghoul on stage, especially with Water and Pebble. Loves cameras, shows✌ a lot, humps his guitar sometimes. Enjoys attention, a bit horny:) Also did a few interviews (mostly with Omega), has strong accent, also speaks Italian. Has rings and tattoos on both hands (none during era 1 and 2!). Taller than Papa. Joined in 2010, left in november 2016.

2016

Omega left in july, so Water took over rhythm guitar and the first Ghoulette of the Ghost, Mist, was introduced. This lineup toured till the end of the year and nobody returned for Popestar tour in 2017.

Quintessence Ghoul #2. Basically just Water, but with different guitar and highlighted QE symbol on his uniform.

Mist Ghoulette aka Water#5. Tiny💜, unlike Copia's Ghoulettes she wore the same outfit and mask (that looked a bit too big for her) as the Ghouls. Badass bass player, has a ring, a tattoo on her finger and painted nails. Veeeeery calm. Cute as hell. Alpha liked her a lot.

Fire, Earth and Air Ghouls were same as in 2015:

All of the previous Ghouls left and the new pack replaced them. If you see Ghouls who are +- same height as Papa, that's them!

Ifrit aka Fire Ghoul #2. Chaotic, hyperactive, Papa's hype man. Same height as Terzo, sweet bean, has wiiiide chest dorito shaped No tattoos, no rings. Spins, dances, jumps a lot. Gets "shot" during Ghuleh/Zombie Queen. No 🜂 sticker on his guitar. Only toured till 2018.

Aether aka Quintessence Ghoul #3. Beefy, jumps a lot, has rings and a bracelet. Always looks friendly. Plain black guitar with no QE symbol. Also pretty active, especially with his pal Ifrit. A bit taller than Papa III. Ran after Terzo when he got gragged off the stage by Papa Nihil's people. Joined in 2017, left in may 2023.

P.S. since he's not Omega, his butt was safe during Year Zero solo 🙃

Dewdrop aka Water Ghoul #6 aka Sodo. Smaller than Terzo. Has an aggressive guitar playing style. A bit horny (it got worse later). No visible tattoos. Proudly played bass with someone's panties. Syncs with Ifrit and Aether during Ghuleh/Zombie Queen outro. Became Fire Ghoul #3 in 2018. He's still in the Ghost (as of february 2024).

Zephyr aka chAir Ghoul #2. Sits on chair, a lot :) Charming, more active than previous Air ghoul. Loses it during Monstrance Clock, Per Aspera Ad Inferi and Cirice. Could be a great DJ. Almost the same height as Papa. Has a ring. His Mummy Dust keytar solo -[X]. Only toured till 2018.

Ivy aka Earth Ghoul #3. Underrated, many don't know much about him. Was present only during European leg of the Popestar tour (from march till july). Has brown eyes, a tattoo and bracelets. Same height as Ifrit. Wasn't around much, but still did a great job. Was later replaced by Mountain.

Mountain aka Earth Ghoul #4. Joined Ghost in july 2017. The tallest Ghoul (of this pack and in general). Hates shoes. Has a tattoo on the finger of his right hand, but you won't see shit on photos from this era because he wasn't photographed much and drummers usually get less attention than others in general:/ Quite calm comparing to Pebble. He's still in the band (as of february 2024).

(even without his shoes he's still the tallest in the pic lol) Honorable mentions:

Special Ghoul aka Phil aka Tobias. Has green eyes, speaks Swedish. Did lots of interviews, showed up to grab a few awards for Ghost, worships cats and loves Abba. Explained meaning of the songs, talked about Papas. Literally Papa in disguise (aka Fire Ghoul's uniform and mask). Has been in the shadows since 2017.

Cowbell Ghoul. The myth, the legend. Played cowbell during "Ritual" and "If You Have Ghosts" a few times at the end of the Popestar tour in 2016. Tall, has a posture of a shrimp, always got shooed by Papa. Many want him back. 2025 UPD: he'd slay during Umbra!

Maybe some one smarter than me already said this, but I think Tobias is following the way of Revelations in how the new Pope's era will unfold.

*Disclaimer: because I wasn't part of the Ghost fandom between Papas 1-3, and I haven't seen RHRN or much or the YouTube clips, take this with a grain of salt. Also if someone else already said/analyzed this, let me know.

*Also the Biblical quotes below come from the King James Bible, whether that's not accurate enough im sorry but idrc, I just needed things to make my point.*

Therefore, this only focuses on Copia and Perpetua as an outsider with limited knowledge on Catholic religion and whatever the hell Ghost has going on.

This is not meant to be taken seriously. Everything in this post is opinion and not factual. This is also not proofread or edited.

Ok, so Copia's themes. When he was a Cardinal, he emphasized disease ("Rats"), and the Plague specifically, as with the title "Dance Macabre."

For those who don't know, the original idea of Danse Macabre is an allegory of death (or personification of it), and the universality of death, much like a Momento Mori: it comes for everyone, king and peasant alike.

Danse Macabre was very popular during the Late Middle Ages. Wonder why? The Bubonic Plague, The Black Death was making its rounds throughout Europe. Anyone who was anyone - and nobodies, too - were dying from the Plague. Now, we look at the title of this album Prequelle (translation: Prequel.)

This obviously hits the mark on two things: the prequel to Copia's ascension to Papacy, and the Prequel to his second albulm (first as Papa), IMPERA.

IMPERA thematically represents the "Rise and fall of empires." This can literally mean what it says, but it can also mean death, too. Empires, much like people, also must remember Momento Mori: that they, too, will also die or "fall"; nothing is meant to last forever. And the people living in these empires experience death as well, whether that be figuratively (their homeland falling into ruin) and literally, as in genocides via war, lack of resources to support the populations of empires or - and stay with me in this - diseases wiping out entire empires.

How does Revelations fit with Copia? Easily we can say he embodies two of the riders of the Apocalypse: Plague (the first horse, originally known as Conquest but was changed over time), and as Death. Why? The beautiful song "Witch Image" (Prequelle album) with the lyric of him being on a pale white horse - Death.

Well, let's look at Revelations 6:7-9 "And now I saw a pale horse, and its rider’s name was Death. And there followed after him another horse whose rider’s name was Hell. They were given control of one-fourth of the earth, to kill with war and famine and disease and wild animals."

Copia fits Plague well for obvious reasons, but we can also fit him in as war/conquest as he, iirc, did kind of overthrow Papa Nihil and his brothers via killing them and becoming Papa IV; killing and overthrowing has historically been viewed as acts of war, so there's that for the bolded statement above. The wild animals part? Hunter's Moon because someone on this site said it was the perfect werewolf song and now it's all I can see when I hear that banger lol.

Anyway, where does Perpetua fit in all of this? Well. As a casual onlooker, all you ever hear about the Apocalypse are the four broken seals and the four riders of the Apocalypse. You never hear about the fifth one in Revelations 6:9-10.

"And when he broke open the fifth seal, I saw an altar, and underneath it all the souls of those who had been martyred for preaching the Word of God and for being faithful in their witnessing. 10 They called loudly to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long will it be before you judge the people of the earth for what they’ve done to us? When will you avenge our blood against those living on the earth?”

I've heard this particular Revelations passage being called, "The Cry of the Martyrs." This relates to Perpetua because many people - or Tobias, I can't figure out who said what or if it's just a fan theory - say this newest Album, SKELETA will focus more on saints and Martyrs and martyrdoms.

Here are now my connections: Papa V Perpetua is the fifth Pope, which shallowly connects him to the fifth seal. The fifth seal in Revelations specifically calls back to everyone who died from the previous broken seal, Seal 4 with Death and Hell following close behind. Those who died in the fifth seal want revenge on those still dwelling on earth.

People have pointed out Papa V Perpetua embodies the other Papa's through the designs in his Papal robe/costume. So that means he's representing or symbolizing the other Papas, who could be defined as Martyrs for "They died preaching the word of (Satan) and being faithful in their witnessing."

Is that why he has a skeleton design? Yes. He is representing the dead. So did all the Papas with their skeleton makeup, right? In a way, yes. But this Papa V is different. Why?

Papa V Perpetua takes on the look of a skeleton. Is he a Momento Mori, death personified? But who for? Copia's MOMENTO MORI personified!!

I think that's why a lot of people are rightly theorizing/predicting a deep connection between Copia and Papa V Perpetua, because there definitely is one.

However, I see the connection through the lenses of Revelations and previous albums: Copia is the rise and glory days of his empire, from being Cardinal to Papa IV to now IF; he's the one who overthrew established tradition and killed his kinsmen, the horseman of conquest/war but mostly disease and death. Perpetua that we've seen so far is the fall of Copia's empire, the phase that comes next in the lifecycle, the revenge of the martyrs, Momento Mori personified.

Anyway, in this post I plan to - jk. Hope those who read this enjoy and engage, I'd love to see everyone else's ideas about the new Ghost era and Papa V Perpetua!

Now- while he is one of my Ghost ocs- he’s also apart of my own story that’s Ghost inspired. So- I’ll give you a run down of what I created- then his role in the Clergy and all that!//

So- I’ll try to explain best I can, but I have a scattered thought process so sorry if I go off topic or anything like that

Characters related to Sirius

Okay- so. Let’s start with Kaisarion Peacefield. Kaisarion is a descendant from the Tribus Sapientia, and is the son of war General Liora Peacefield, and grew up with her on the battlefield. Where’s his dad? ..good question..moving on. Kaisarion, in “modern” day within the Imperium, is one of the rulers, his title being that of Frater Imperator. He’s also called The Father Of Make Believe

Next- Silas Straight! Silas is a descendant from the Dan Utvalda, and is the Imperium’s top Surgeon/Scientist. He’s head of the medical field, and one of the members of the Concilium Ordinis. He has no other titles than Dr. Straight- which he prefers over his first name.

Virelya Cirice- Soror Imperator- the co-ruler of the Imperium. Again- same with Sirius, I’m still expanding on her. She’s a descendant from Tribus Ignus- and has direct control over Concilium Flux. She’s also the first Soror Imperator to be openly Lesbian- which was a highly controversial topic at the time(DONT WORRY THE IMPERIUM IS PAST THAT- I BASED SOME OF THE IMPERIUM’S HISTORY OFF OF REAL HISTORY). Some of her titles- besides Soror Imperator- are Mother Superior and The Queen Of The Dark

Zenith Juturna- oh. I love this guy. Okay- so, there’s so much to this- but he’s technically a ghoul now- but he wasn’t born a ghoul- he was turned. By who? Silas. I question Straight’s choices sometimes. Anyways. Zenith knew Sirius before he himself turned ghoul- and after his community was ambushed and raided, most of the population being killed- he was morally wounded. He tried to follow Sirius as Sirius ran from the destruction, and followed him all the way back to the Imperium- where Silas found him. Silas told him that he could patch up his wounds- but when he had Zenith unconscious, he injected him with ghoul dna. This made Zenith’s healing faster- but by the gods did this hurt him at the same time. Growing horns, tail, and claws isn’t exactly the most comfortable process. Zenith hated Silas for this- hated his very being. So when Zenith escaped- he nearly wiped out all of the Imperium- and almost killed both Sirius and Silas. Though to make a long story short- he redeemed himself eventually and Sirius now sees Zenith as a brother.

The world Sirius lives in

Right- so now you’re probably wondering what tf is a Tribus Sapientia, or the Dan Utvalda, or Tribus Ignus- so I’ll try to explain in the briefest way possible lol

Tribus Sapientia- a tribe to the North that worshiped the deity Baphomet- they held wisdom above all else

Tribus Ignus- a tribe to the South that worshiped Eris and Hermes- holding chaos and the sense of self above all else

Dan Utvalda- a tribe that worshiped Forseti and Tyr- holding order and battle above all else(think Sparta- just Swedish ig)

Now- you might also be wondering what this war I keep referring to is- and as I did with the tribes- I’ll give the bullet points lol.

The Imperium started out as these three different tribes- though they were all divided, Tribus Sapientia being in the North, Tribus Ignus to the South, and the DU to the West

. The DU wanted control of the Tribus Ignus and the Tribus Sapientia due to seeing how advanced they were, but the two tribes refused to join the DU- so the DU started a war, now called the War Of Absolution.

The TS and the TI came out on top in the war and took control of the DU, having them sign a peace treaty and eventually forming the Imperium where the TI used to be.

The War Of Absolution was divided into three sections for the three years it went on- the Initium, The Sanguis Effusus, and The Finis.

There was a war hero named Liora Peacefield- the General of the TS’ and TI’s army. She joined around the Sanguis Effusus period and led the tribes to victory.

General Peacefield’s close allies were the Eos Lunae- a cabinet made up of the soldiers Luna Silva(war), Veronica Michel(Death), Vaylen Cassias(Famine), and Delta Nigh(Conquest). As you can tell- they’re based off the four horsemen

Fun fact! The Messura(Tribus Ignus and Tribus Sapientia combined) changed generals five times, while the Dan Utvalda only had two.

Meliora

Not far from the Imperium was a kingdom named Meliora

Meliora was the only place Sirius felt comfortable- as all his life he’s been living in the Mors Terra(the land outside of the Imperium), moving place to place. When Sirius found Meliora- the people welcomed him in with open arms.

Though as said with Zenith- Meliora suffered an attack from a nearby kingdom which destroyed Meliora. Sirius escaped with a broken leg and head injuries.

Kaisarion, who frequents the Mors Terra, found Sirius and brought him back to the Imperium- where he lived for the rest of the time.

How does this connect to the Clergy?

In my mind, Ghouls live for a long, long time. Copia and Perpetua are descendants from Kaisarion, and even after Kaisarion and Silas passed- Sirius and Zenith still lived in to see the way the Imperium shifted into the Clergy. Currently, Sirius and Zenith live within the Ministry, where they keep a memorial to the leaders of the Imperium taken care of. Sirius hasn’t moved on from Kaisarion, Silas, or Virelya. They were like his family. He doesn’t like to acknowledge that they are gone.

Who will be on this blog?

Obviously, we have Sirius- but there may also be Zenith on here! And I’m considering having the ghosts of Kai, Silas, and Virelya on here but I’m not sure yet. Anyways- that’s all from me! Rite Here Rite Now thoughts and reactions (spoilers below)

The performance:

-> Twenties live?? The dancers? loved them! I waited to hear Twenties Live like crazy! I do wish we could hear Swiss louder with the whispers...

-> I need that acoustic rendition of If You hHave Ghosts... the ghoulettes were amazing

-> I refuse to believe that Tutti Frutti nailed that one jump towards the end of the performance, what the heck?!

-> The searchlights in the Watcher in the Sky!

-> the use of lights to accentuate Satan's names! YES! It felt so right, it felt so cool, I loved that! Satanic imagery whenever his name was mentioned? YESSS They play fewer and fewer songs from the early albums so I wish they make some new songs that just go LU-CI-FEEER

-> The ghouls looked so good! But there was so little of Swiss :( I wanted to see him go crazy and move those hips. I caught a glimpse of him once or twice but I believe they never focused on him for long enough to let him shine. It's a pity because I love watching him!

-> I thought there would be a long scene of us getting ciriced but it was just a few moments? still cool, just a bit short

-> People are saying that the skeletons were actually people with body paint, and I fully believed that it was a body suit :0 I noticed their breasts looked good but??? how did I miss this (I do have an eyesight problem but I thought it wasn't that bad haha)

The rest:

-> the sass between Nihil and Seestor was so good? Loved seeing their interactions

-> They EMBRACED the 'Scooby Doom', the 'Scooby Doo Chase Music' allegations, the MOAC animation was surreal as heck. Tobias saw our jokes and said 'hold my communion wine and watch this'

-> We got an exclusive footage of a Papa Sock, do not confuse with the DeFroque Soq. We saw the Obscene Annointed Foot.

-> Papa literally dissociates backstage :')

-> The twins? Seestor having twins?? There were two kiddos frollicking on a field loool and I always thought that Copia felt like he had a sibling or a twin but I thought it was just a crack theory!

-> I want Ashley's job

-> The twins played by Toblerone's kids are dead apparently and I doubt it will ever be explained xD

-> There was only one fart joke and I anticipated like 3 at least

->I remember seeing this meme

and let me tell you it's 100% true he does not, it's just for comedic effect and I love it, people got high fives from him and I was so jealous

-> the balloon part was so confusing and funny and the way he was actually faceplanted on the floor the whole time broke me

-> I made a joke about how maybe they'll get rid of Seestor due to all the issues they had with her actresses but there she is, transparent and glowing. they can't explain further changes with plastic surgery anymore lol

-> Copia in a position of actual power? HUH

-> He has his Cardinal makeup back!! We went to the movie wearing this exact pattern and we were so happy to see it on screen <3 And his whole new outfit is lit, I am forever in love with his Cardinal Era clothes so this one was a Treat

-> Copia was babied so much in this movie and it was just what I needed for my soul, do not @ me

-> The pentagram below Nihil and Seestor gives me hope for a certain theory the fandom likes a lot?? why was it there

-> New song good!!!

-> also, Nihil's speech seems to be a homage to all the dead performers we know and love, especially the ones Tobias looks up to and gets inspiration from and I could feel his sadness in that speech, ok. I think he wishes to be able to entertain people after his own death just like them, he wants people to play Ghost in 50 years when he's most likely dead and feel their taints tickled. I am tearing up. Life is scary and sad but I have ghosts, right?

Overall it was a very sweet and gentle way to ease the fandom into the next stage and a new Papa, which we have been opposing vehemently for the past year or so. Tobias is a softie and knows his fandom better than I expected, tbh.

Two more chapters of Dracopia are up! I know some of you are waiting for more updates on my "Sex Surrogacy" story. I'm working on it too, but the ending of this one is cool and I want to get there before anyone figures it out or someone else writes a similar story. And Broken Copia is my beloved. I also need to start my Ghost mini bang story… and there are other things too… LOL it's fine.

Chapter 13: The Villain Never Rests

Summary:

Are you going to come back?? Terzo is nice to Copia in this chapter. TW: Depressive thoughts

You had walked to the library in town just to sit and think.  Had you been hasty?  Sure.  But in your heart you didn’t think you could go back.  You knew that Papa would let you work with him exclusively.  But even that, seeing him so happy with Omega and the Siblings while you were miserable, just seemed impossible.  You tried to read, but it was a lost cause.

After an hour or so you got an Uber and went to a cheap motel one town over.  You decided you would take a day or two to wallow and then start looking for a job and a permanent place to stay.  You crawled into the bed even though it was too early and closed your eyes.  Time to restart once again.

Copia was outside the door to your room at the abbey.  He had been knocking for five minutes with no response.  He tried calling and texting too.  When that didn’t work he slid down and sat on the floor to wait for you.  About thirty minutes later your roommate, Sister Lizette, came down the hall.  

“Hello Cardinal?” she asked.

Copia looked up with puffy eyes as he stood.  “Good evening Sister Lizette, could you tell me if she’s in there?” he croaked.

“Sure,” Lizette unlocked the door, “but she’s usually only here to sleep and shower.” Lizette went in and Copia waited expectantly in the hall.  “Um, she’s not here, but she left this for you.”   She handed him the necklace with a sticky note in which you had scrawled his name in flowy script.  

He leaned against the wall and shuddered at the silver in his hand, quickly moving it to his pocket.

“It’s weird, some of her things are gone and there’s also this note for Papa,” she handed him a paper.  “Could you give it to him?”

He blinked a few times to keep tears from forming.  “Will do,” he managed.

“Thanks,” she said and looked him over.  “Hey, I know you work together, are you dating?  Did you fight?”  The idea of you and Copia dating didn’t really make sense to Lizette, but the way your face lit up whenever you mentioned him had her curious.

“No, it’s nothing,” he lied.  “But if you see her, could you ask her to come and talk to me?”

“Yeah, no problem,” she shrugged and retreated into the room, closing the door.  Dread filled the Cardinal’s body as he set off in the direction of the Papal suite.

Omega had recently left and Terzo was finally feeling content, if not a bit sore from his escapades.  Ghouls had stamina, that was for sure.  He was contemplating a late dinner when harsh knocking interrupted his thoughts.

“Whoever it is, I’m busy,” he yelled at the door.  Maybe I’ll see if the ghouls can bring up the leftover ziti from last night, if they haven’t already eaten it all-

“Stronzo, it’s urgent, please!” Copia called.

Terzo felt his blood chill in his veins.  He opened the door in only his robe.  “What’s happening?  Come inside.”

Copia tumbled through the door.  “It’s Sorella-”

“I swear to Satan, Copia.  Tell me you didn’t hurt her,” his relaxed muscles tightened back into painful knots.

“I didn’t, well not physically,” Copia hung his head.  “She left you this letter.”

Papa snatched the letter and sat down heavily.  “Copia, HOW did you mess this up?  I saw her take condoms this morning.  She was prepared to do unspeakable things to you.”

Copia’s head snapped to attention.  “Wait, she what?”

The letter did not reveal much.  You had written that you were sorry to be leaving on such short notice and asked for understanding.  Copia and Mountain wasted no time and left to try to follow your scent.  Ever since the incident Mountain had felt horrible and begged to be allowed to come.  The Cardinal could not help but understand his Earth ghoul’s torment.  And he was the best tracker of all the ghouls.  They weren’t going to force you to return.  No matter how desperate he became, the sad doctor would never do that.  But he did want the chance to explain.  

Copia lost your scent not far from the abbey, but Mountain traced it to the library and back to a nearby street.  Then it disappeared.  

“She must have taken a car,” he said, losing hope.

“We have to find her!  I don’t know if she’s safe, and she thinks I don’t care about her.  We have to-”

The ghoul took the smaller man’s elbow.  “It’s very late and we did our best.  You had a surgery today, it’s time to go home.”

Copia wanted to just scream your name up and down the streets, but the pair were already drawing attention.  Reluctantly, he followed his companion back to the abbey.

Copia didn’t sleep or eat.  He stayed up all night drawing more sketches of you.  It seemed to be something that calmed him.  Not that he was ‘calm’ for a normal person, but he wasn’t clawing at the walls and that was about the best he could manage.  When he wasn’t sketching he was pacing the halls of the infirmary.  Much like a ghost his pale figure was haunting the mostly empty medical wing.

By morning he had reconsidered what he needed to do.  He asked Terzo and Primo to meet with him.

Papa looked like he had also had a sleepless night.  “I made a list of all the flights that left the local airport last night.  If she was really angry she probably hopped on the first plane.  I’m going to make some calls and see if I can find the passenger lists.”

Copia loved his brother in this moment, but he didn’t want to hunt you.  “I’ve gone through a thousand different scenarios in my mind and have come to the conclusion that I need to give her space.  I see that now.”

Primo nodded, but paused.  “I agree, but are you doing this for her or because you’re afraid of what will happen if you’re around her?”

“Both,” Copia admitted.  “If she comes back and forgives me I’ll be the luckiest man.  If she stays away then she’ll be safe.  I have to give her a chance to get away.”

Terzo slumped in his seat, “Idiota, I’m really not sure how you ever got laid.  And now the perfect and probably only woman for you leaves and you’re going to let it happen.”

Copia stood, “You have no idea how many times I’ve almost killed her.  We could EASILY be planning her funeral,” he spat the last word.

Primo looked from Terzo to Copia, “You’re going to have to accept at some point that you can control your actions.  You are not a puppet being pulled along by your urges.  But I do agree with giving her space.”

The Cardinal scowled at the accusation, but of course he should be in control.  He left the room and retreated back into his masochism. 

“Maybe grow a pair,” he heard Papa mutter but he continued walking.

That evening he sketched again.  This time he did accidentally sleep for a couple hours.  Just long enough to have dreams that he found you and attacked you.  He was always the villain in the darkness, taking what was not his to possess.

Lucifer, this existence felt like the Pit some days.  He had some dark thoughts that he acknowledged, but chose not to dwell on.  Instead, he thought about what he should be doing and what felt right was spending more time with his daughter.  He stopped by the ghoul den and asked if she and Swiss wanted to have dinner.  Though clearly Swiss was the only one of them who would actually eat.

It turned out that the ghouls were planning a jam session, so Isla agreed to hang with her dad.

The two hung out in the den while the ghouls were off in the studio.  Isla made herself at home on a creaky old futon.  Trying to be chill, Copia lowered himself into the next closest piece of furniture which was an electric blue bean bag chair.  Every bone in his body creaked and popped as he sank into the lumpy sack.

It was an exceptionally silly sight, but Isla pretended not to notice his decrepit noises.  “Hey, I’m sorry about mom, I heard what she did,” she sounded embarrassed.  “She was over the line.”

Copia’s cheeks reddened, “You’re not responsible for her.  Let’s not dwell on it.”

“Agreed,” Isla nodded.

“So, I’ve never actually talked to another vampire.  How are you coping?  I know it can be challenging,” he tried to reach out on common ground.

“When I was first turned I hated it, and that’s why I decided to turn you.  As a punishment,” she swallowed.  “Sorry again about that.”

Copia patted her hand, “It’s water under the bridge, my dear.”

“But then, not going to lie, it’s been pretty amazing.  Except when I got carried away and almost killed Swiss.  That was terrifying,” she got more serious.  “But daily life is fine.  I like being able to turn into a bat and fly wherever I want.  The fangs are cool, and drinking blood is always such a rush.  I have much more energy these days. I would never want to go back.”

“Fascinating,” Copia could barely comprehend this perspective.  “So did you always like the taste of blood, or did it grow on you.”  He was genuinely curious.

“Blood called to me from day one,” she stared off as she remembered those early days.  “But it wasn’t until I found ghoul blood that it really felt like a need.  Before then it was just like a pizza is to a human, even if it’s not the best it’s still pretty enjoyable.  Is that what drinking blood is like for you?”

“Ha, no, drinking blood is my least favorite part.  I still don’t like it, except for my Sorella’s blood.”  The thought of it alone had his stomach clenching in need.

“Really?  Most of us are not very discriminating.”

“I’ve heard that.  So have you ever drank any blood that didn’t agree with you?  Made you feel sick?”  Copia hoped that his daughter would know what to do.  She had been dealing with this longer than him.

She shifted in her seat, thinking, “No, the only thing that makes me sick is eating human food.  But I still do it sometimes to fit in.”

“Yeah, I have too.”  A flurry of memories flooded his mind.  In that first month he had tried so hard, especially to make coffee work, but it always ended in regret.

Swiss peeked in.  “Hey babe, not to interrupt, but we could use an extra percussion player for this song if you don’t mind.”

“You play?” Copia asked, wishing once again that he knew more about his own progeny.

“I mostly sing and play drums, but I can play some of the other instruments at a beginner-level.”  Her face lit up at the idea of playing, “Do you mind if I go?”  

“Not at all, have fun,” the Cardinal felt pride that his daughter was so talented and well-adjusted.  He listened at the door for a little, then retreated back to his depression room.

Three days later:

Get the fuck out of bed.  You don’t deserve to have a breakdown, or whatever this is .  Copia forced himself to get up and check on the infirmary and his ghouls.  The brightside was that things were under control.  The exam rooms were clean and well-stocked, there were no serious cases to treat.  The ghouls were adjusting well to Isla’s presence, and although they missed you fiercely and cast concerned looks at Copia, everything was flowing well.

After circulating through, trying to busy himself with mindless tasks, he gave up.  He drove to the library in the city and wandered through the stacks, eyes drawn to the greatest love stories- , Anna Karenina, Beren and Luthien in the Silmarillion.  It brought some peace, but the sadness was ever-present.  Eventually the library closed and he retreated right back to his room.  He tried calling your number, but he seemed to be blocked.  He wrapped himself in a blanket that he may have had Aether pilfer from your room and fiddled with his art supplies. 

That's how Terzo found him the next morning, charcoal on his cheek from where he had fallen asleep in a new pile of drawings.  His gaunt torso barely visible, cocooned in pink, cottony fabric dotted with tiny ghosts.

The noise of the door opening startled Copia.  “Terzo, do you ever knock?” he grumbled.  The Cardinal’s joints protested as he shuffled to the door.

Terzo took in the disarray of his bedroom, crumpled papers littering the floor, a mess of supplies.  And then turned his attention to the skeletal form before him, hair sticking up in all directions.  “Nice blanket, the color suits you,” he mocked, though he did care.  “What’s the design on it?”

“Ghosts,” he peeled himself from the comfort of your spooky blanket.

“At least you know she likes creepy, pale things,” he continued, taking the blanket and folding it.  His proximity had alerted him to a larger problem.  “You smell like a dead body, when did you shower last?”  He wrinkled his nose in disgust.

“Before she left,” he muttered. 

“And when did you last have blood?” He was sounding more like a disappointed parent than a brother.

“Who cares, why are you here exactly?” he shot back.  “I’m fulfilling my duties, I should be allowed some peace.”  He pretended to be angry, but not well.  He was deeply lost and sad. 

“I’m here because I love you, coglione.  This is not healthy.  I brought some blood and I’m starting the shower,” he pulled the blood from the inner pocket of his jacket.

“Just leave me,” he pushed him to the door.  Tears were threatening to spill again.

Terzo signaled to someone outside.  “Hmm, so that’s not happening.” He pulled the door open wider and Aether and Omega were there.  “Aether, make sure he drinks this and showers.  Omega and I will clean this up.”  

Aether ushered him into his bathroom.  Copia felt embarrassment that he was not trusted to manage basic care tasks.  

“You can wait outside, I’ll be out shortly,” the Cardinal said, facing the mirror.  He nearly startled at the pallid figure that stared back at him.  The wrinkles on his forehead and near his eyes seemed worse than ever.

Aether shook his head.  “Papa told me to make sure you really drink it,” he paused.  

“I don’t think I can,” he looked down at the sink.

“You should have told us,” he put a hand on the smaller man’s shoulder, “should have told me , that you were having a problem with blood.”  He looked hurt that he had hidden this.

“What good does it do to trouble everyone else with my issues?” he shrugged.

Aether opened the blood bag.  “You’re part of the pack.  We take care of each other.  Trust me, it helps to let people in.”

Copia nodded, though he was unconvinced.  With a sigh, he pinched his nose as he downed the bag.  His stomach protested and he fought with his gag reflex, but a small amount came back up.  “Sorry,” he said as he rinsed it down the sink.

“It’s OK,” the large ghoul passed him a toothbrush.  When he had finished he took his clothes so he could enter the shower.  He choked back a gasp at how thin his leader had become.  His ribs were on full display and the bathroom lighting made the concavity of his gut all the more apparent.  “Clean up, you deserve to be clean.”

In the other room, Omega had made quick work of removing the dirty linens, laundry, and trash.  Terzo made the bed with fresh sheets from the closet.  He left the pink blanket folded at the foot of the bed.  He also tidied the art desk and studied the pile of drawings.  Most were your face, from a dozen different angles, all angelic. But a few were more scandalous.  His brother had quite the imagination.  It solidified in his mind what needed to be done.

Copia thankfully had managed and emerged clean and dressed.  He stood by the wall.  Gratitude and shame swirling within him.

“Ghouls, thank you, you may leave,” he commanded and the two made their exit, Aether looking back with concern.  

Once they were gone, Copia walked closer to his brother.  “Satisfied?  See, I’m fine now.”  He gestured to his clean clothes.  

“No one has ever been less fine,” Terzo scoffed.  “But, something important is happening tonight.  So wallow if you must, but I need you at 7pm tonight in my quarters.  Look presentable.”

“Fine,” Copia nervously raked his hand through his wet hair.

“Hey,” Terzo made his way closer, dropping the attitude.  “I miss her, too.”  He patted his arm, then thought better of it and pulled his brother into a hug.  

Copia wanted to punch him, but instead found himself sobbing into his chest.  It was like they were children again, best friends even if they could be savage at times.  

Terzo wrapped the blanket around the younger one’s shoulders, “Don’t lose hope, Ok?”

Copia nodded.

Terzo had to leave, he didn’t have much time.

“Ciao, Is my favorite niece here?” Terzo asked, peeking into the ghoul dens.  The pack was gathered around the TV watching a baking challenge.

“Way too much icing, what is he doing?” Dew yelled from the couch, sitting on Rain’s lap.

A head appeared from under Swiss’ beefy bicep, “Hello Papa, what can I do for you?”  She extricated herself from the pile of bodies and went over to the door.  The two sat down at the island in the kitchenette.

Terzo let out a puff of air, “Apologies for the interruption, but I need your assistance.  Well, Copia does.”

She smiled, not really surprised.  Her heart hurt that he was clearly having a hard time with the lifestyle that she had forced on him.  “Is it vampire problems?  What’s up?”

“I don’t know if you’ve talked to him lately, but he’s acting rather hopeless since his girlfriend left.”

Isla shook her head, “I saw him a few days ago but I didn’t realize it was that bad.  How can I help?”

“She left so abruptly, I know that they would reconcile if they just talked.”  Terzo rambled, “Well, in any case, you say you can turn into a bat?”

“That’s correct,” she confirmed.  “But I don’t see how that fixes things?”

“Could you do some surveillance for me around town, look for her?  I’ve brought some pictures,” he pulled a few polaroids from his pocket.

You looked really beautiful and she was happy that her dad had found someone to accept him.  Even if you were separated at the moment.  “Um, I don’t mind helping but you know I can barely see shit as a bat?”

“Eh, I didn’t think of that.  Well, I kind of need a way to get her here tonight.  I told Copia to meet me at 7 and I want to facilitate a reconciliation,” he was realizing that he didn’t really have a plan as he said it out loud.

Isla sighed, “And you haven’t found her yet and don’t even know if she’ll want to come back?”

“You make it sound worse than it is,” he pulled at his gloves.  “I know them both quite well.”

“Okay, but have you tried anything smarter?  No offense?” she leaned back, expecting a little more from the head of the church.

“What do you mean smarter?” Papa bristled.

“Like, did you track her phone or anything?” she shrugged.

Terzo was feeling defeated, “No it’s not an iPhone, you see the clergy never wants to spend any money…”

“You know you can track an android, right?” she cut in.

“Eh, no?” he admitted.

She just gave Papa a look.  “Alrighty then, let’s go to your office.”

Ten minutes later Isla had your exact coordinates pulled up.  And you were close.

You had your laptop out, half-heartedly looking for jobs while you sipped a chai latte.  Your mind was replaying your last few days at the ministry.  You wanted to go back, but the more you thought about it the more you convinced yourself that Copia was just a nice man who wasn’t that into you.  He had always been holding back and now he could be with the mother of his child.  It just made sense.  But your heart hurt and even the heavy music in your ear buds wasn’t enough to dampen the pain.

The movement of a figure taking a seat across from you caused you to choke on your tea.  You spluttered as you took in Papa’s annoyed countenance fixing his gaze on you.

“I do not accept your resignation, Sorella,” he sighed.  “Do you know I’ve had five, FIVE, meetings alone with Imperator since you’ve left?  It’s taken years off my life.  And you don’t even answer your phone.”

“Papa,” you squeaked, setting your cup back in its saucer.  “It’s better for me to be here.  Copia and Elena can be happy, and you don’t need me.  There are plenty of Siblings who would make better assistants.  You could have an assistant with benefits again.”  You felt guilty for some reason, but you believed what you said.

He waved your words away, “You know I receive no shortage of ‘benefits.’  I want you to come back.  What about Baptism?”

“I was looking forward to it, but I just can’t be around all the happy people.  I can’t be close to the Cardinal knowing we’ll never be anything more than colleagues.  Elena-”

At that moment a woman came from around the corner.  “Terzo, I know you told me to wait, but when I hear my name I must join the conversation.”

Terzo rolled his eyes, “Fine, fine.  Sorella, I’d like to formally introduce you to Signiora Elena.”

You were at a loss for a moment, then shook her hand.  “Hello, I’m sorry you came all the way out here.  I promise I’m not trying to get in your way.  That’s why I left.  I-”

“Relax,” she patted your arm.  “Copia was not interested in my advances.  It was actually kind of rude, to be honest, I mean I still look good, right?” “You’re beautiful, obviously,” you said earnestly.  Her figure was stunning and there was not one blemish or wrinkle to be found on her skin.

“I already told you Omega and I could take you to Paris if you want,” Terzo nudged her with his knee, winking, referring to the Eiffel tower sex position.  “This isn’t about your sexiness, Copia feels a connection to that one,” he turned his focus to you.  “He’s miserable.  If vampirism doesn’t kill him, love will.”

You swallowed, “He still loves me?”

“You act like he loves someone new every week.  He barely tolerates anyone.  It’s a miracle that you two even met.  So come back with us?” His mismatched eyes were pleading with you, “I’m making a special dinner tonight.”

"You’re cooking?”  Concern grew in your heart alongside the hope that things had not been ruined.

DOL RAMBLES of the Day!

Okay so I’ve recently been told of a thing that ivory does specifically because of Sydney and now I have so many ideas running through my head and I need to write them down before I go crazy lol.

So ivory wraith and Sydney are connected right?

And if you have the promise with Sydney the ivory wraith states this

“You are wedded to calamity” which is ivory talking about your relationship with Sydney.

But what if, Ivory and Sydney have the same soul?

We don’t know what the Ivory wraiths “true” name is, or who they really are besides what we know from when they became a wraith after their death due to the schism that happened a long time ago in the part of the forest behind the town before it sunk and became a lake

And a “wraith” is basically the vengeful piece of someone’s soul that remains on earth after their death continuing to lurk and basically be angry at their death and general situation.

But- ivory isn’t like that, (unless you take their necklace that is) ivory in general is a very calm and sometimes even playful, ghost which leaves the idea to believe that they don’t have regrets regarding their death but rather something else and that’s why they became a wraith.

Now then, we know that ivory had a lover in the past, but besides that we don’t know anything about said lover besides the fact it’s heavily implied that the PC is the ivorys past lover reborn.

Also regardless of whom takes the necklace, PC, winter etc Ivory will ALWAYS direct their rage or obsession towards the PC, which leads me to believe that Pc is the second most valued possession or being that Ivory has.

The necklace brought ivory peace of mind during the schism and the tragedy they faced, but PC was their lover who brought them joy and light during their time alive

And ivory still considers themselves “Forever as one” with the PC despite the fact PC has no idea why this ghost is obsessed with them.

Now then onto Sydney, no matter if Sydney is corrupt or Pure, his loyalty and devotion to the temple remains intact, he may become more aware of the darkness in the temple but he won’t ever actually abandon the temple despite this.

The only other thing Sydney is this loyal to is PC, but Sydney isn’t just loyal to Pc, he slowly develops a hint of obession over Pc, it doesn’t quite reach Ivorys level of obession nor Kylars but it’s still there, in the way that Sydney is possieve over Pc.

But here’s another matter, perhaps it’s due to the temple and it’s teachings but both ivory and Sydney can hum a familiar tune to Pc

A song that PC has never once heard before in the game but feels that it’s familiar the minute one of them sings it to her. Sydney says he learned the tune from Jordan but I have never heard Jordan sing that tune before (unless it’s in a future update) but for now I’d like to believe that Sydney just naturally knows the song and thinks he must’ve learned it from Jordan since Jordan is someone they deeply admire similar to how ivory admired their own Cardinal in their past.

But another thing I find interesting this may be just something that can happen but, the game always starts on a Sunday. And you know whose at the temple on sundays? Sydney.

When I first started my new game as “Alorhna” that Sunday morning the first place I went to was the temple to take the chastity test for the chastity belt, and the person who I met afterwards in the temple was Sydney.

And in the game my character already recognized Sydney from school as being a good student and helper etc, giving the air that the two new each other, post-game timeline aka in the past.

In the ivorys memories they also recall meeting the “new initate” the day of their chastity test. However in ivorys memories it says how they hugged the initate and how they were happy that they passed their test which leaves the mark to be believed that ivory met the initate before they took their test as well.

But yes you can meet Sydney in the same way as ivory meets their own initiatie, almost as if history is repeating itself

And if you go through the rite of defilement quest with Sydney and go to the prayer room, Sydney acts in the same madness as ivory when they have sex with you, also just like ivory Sydney won’t let you escape until after he’s satisfied (so you have to do it with him around 4 times) and it’s the same thing with ivory they only let you go after their done. (This is also implied by the fact that ivory may be the one possessing Sydney but Sydney can still be rough with the PC sometimes outside of the prayer room if their agitated enough)

So both ivory and Sydney share a blind devotion to their faith (Sydney to the temple, ivory to their necklace) a growing obsession with you the player that seems to stem much longer than we are aware of. And a familiar song that only the three of you know.

I deeply believe that Sydney is ivorys soul reborn, just as PC’s soul was reborn. but due to the tragedy that ivory faced, their regrets broke off from the original soul and became a wraith.

That’s why this line “You are wedded to calamity” is still my absolute favorite.

for me the line insinuates that ivory is warning PC , that their repeating history by loving Sydney, by loving another piece of ivorys soul. And that Sydney has the potential to become just as bad if not even worse than ivory is now.

I know the expectation is probably to name the studio albums but like. What makes them your favourite Papa:

He’s adorable and his Shape does things to me on a chemical and atomic level. But in all seriousness, it's because he's a goof but also sincere. We dog on him and call him a nepobaby and everything but the reality is he's a supremely talented character who truly did love his job. I think also that it's lovely how this character started off as a sort of conduit for anger and Tobias's distaste, only for him to morph Copia into this real-feeling character with fears and wants and lessons he has to come to grips with. I may not analyze Copia nearly as much as I do Terzo, but that does not take away from the fact he's still quite interesting. It's just that with Copia, well, he's quite upfront about who he is. He's a terrible liar lol.

This turned into a very long post. I apologize about that. I hurt my rib again last night trying to open a drink jug I bought for my grandson. I was trying with all my might to open it and I heard a pop but the pop was not from the drink jug lol. There goes another rib!! Just call me papa skeletor love my kids and the youngers so much I also love all my little animals and I am having such a good day I can't believe it. Found family is the force that binds the universe. a sack of candy always rights the wrongs in your interplanetary neighborhood, but alas, only temporarily. We rabbits try to enjoy each little temporary reprieve as it is given. We are keenly aware that everything in life is impermanent and temporary. We are having an awesome Easter visit!! I call him ghost. He has been around and runs from me every other time but this morning he walks up rubs himself against my legs And I figured I'd go in and get him a snack even though I'm sure he belongs to someone Who am I to turn away a visit from such a Beautiful creature. We will soon be able to see his tags but I'm not gonna force it so that I'll know his real name. Until then ghost will suffice. I had turned around to go get him a snack and I turned around and he is standing right in the house behind me so who am I to not welcome him in! Everybody meet ghost! He's definitely a boy. Mister man is so jealous he's turning green. He ran into the bedroom and is hiding in there! lol,sulking I imagine. But they did not fight even when they were face to face maybe almost but we didn't let it go there.

He is such a beautiful cat. We know he must belong to someone else and that we probably shouldn't feed him But who could turn this guy away?! He ate so ravenously and was actually pushing me out of the way to get to the food dish And you can see Here only15 minutes after that he's doing the same thing to artem mischa. We are hoping that He is not an abandoned cat That is Wilma's story as well. I can't believe people who would have abandoned such beautiful creatures. Either way as far as I'm concerned our little family grows.

That goes for anybody else out there who is needing a mom or dad too. There is a terribly sad story that goes along with it but I can never turn anybody away from my door again a younger an animal anybody

And as I am writing this Milo Looking over my shoulder hoping to see ghost again. The ghost went ahead and took off up the street. So we made sure that our dinosaur friends and our squirrel friends All got a peanut today. The blue cardinals are absolutely beautiful. And the squirrels bring a Slapstick keystone cop Vibe to the party. So far it's been a very nice little Easter morning. My youngers are all waking up to the baskets that we made for them and yes we made baskets for our 20 year-old grandchildren And they still appreciate The little link you can provide them to their childhoods. It's a way of saying I love you. And that you are welcome here at the manor and now you are one of mine. I get to say that 7 times It still feels great every👋🏼 single👋🏼 time👋🏼. And the love of all the animals is just as comparable as the love you receive from a human. I'm sorry but I'm 1 of the people who feel that the animal world is capable of much more emotional complexity than we ever give it credit for. We are part of that animal world by the way.

The only religious thing mulling over in my mind today and this morning Is an argument that I had with a Deacon of the church Back in the day About animals Not having souls. He was very adamant that god put animals upon the earth simply for mankind to utilize in any way that they see fit And that they have no souls, So that there will be no animals in heaven because they are just meat-sack tools put here for man to utilize, abuse and exploit. My complete opposite Worldview Made that man so angry he was literally spitting While he was yelling. All animals, even insects are worthy, and Their very existence commands respect, Same respect you and me consider ourselves worthy of. Animals feel deeply And they can experience all the emotions that you and me can From loneliness to joy And everything in between. Not to sound like a condescending asshole but I think most big pop artists are vastly overrated.

Oh my god ok so Digging Deeper by Wytch Hazel. I have a thing for music that has the power to transport you and that song has so much power to do exactly that. The latter portion of the song is primarily instrumental and the guitar solo is relatively simplistic but is so beautiful at the same time. I ascend every time I listen to it. Ruths Backstory part 2 also some Prime Mover and Clergy Head canons

(Now don't ask me what time frame this is set in cause who honestly knows the real timeline with ghost, but just know that Ruth joins before primo even takes over the Ghost Project but he is Papa. She's a few years younger than Copia. I honestly headcanon majority of the papas being around the same age except for primo hes at least 10-15 years older than Secondo whos the second oldest)

Ruth’s Life becomes significantly better when moving to L.A. to her surprise. She was supposed to hate it, her parents had fabricated this whole thing her whole life and now here she was and happier. And she was here to do something heinous, nonetheless. But she was happy because for the first time in forever it felt like she could breathe. Kiln begins to take notice of the positive shift in mood from her. They’re happy but have to remind her not to get too comfortable here because they were going to find a way out of this for them. But unfortunately for them an Emeritus takes notice of Ruth.

That individual my friends is none other than Terzo himself. (I also have actual names for them besides their designated number names but that's for another time) Now Ruth and Terzo actually start off on the wrong foot. Terzo doing Terzo things of course tries to court the new sister into his bed, but with Ruth having no actual social skills and especially no romantic skills, reads him off as being quite rude and insults the young cardinal. Ruth had no knowledge that Terzo was an Emeritus at the time of this either, so the people around who witnessed this took it as an ultimate disrespect to Terzo and wrote her off very quickly, which made her become an outcast fairly quickly.

In this new self-made isolation Imperator takes this to her advantage. She quickly becomes a mother-like figure for Ruth, or one she never really had, and helps her excel through her trials. (Now I Envision these trials being extremely hard, they are exhausting, and Prime Movers have to be willing to work with Darker magics than other clergy members because they are in charge of bringing forth the Antichrist. It's not just fucking lol) Ruth has been delving into the forbidden dark arts for a while which is why Imperator had made her a blessing to the Prime Mover project. (Also, in my lore in order to become an initiate into these trials you have to have a high clergy member blessing. IF the initiates make it through the trials, hopefully alive, that's when they meet the Emeritus bloodline. Then the brothers then choose or deny the initiates.) Now this is where Ruth learns who Terzo actually is, and knows she's failed at the very end just because of one small interaction before all of it, and she knows her coven is going to make her pay. But ultimately to her surprise, and Terzo's brothers, he chooses her.

(this surprises Terzos brothers because they all had an agreement to not take a Prime Mover from any trial who was chosen for them, kinda like taking back their own fate in a way)

Terzo reveals to Ruth he only accepted to get payback but to also make an agreement with her. See Ruth was new blood in their church, she didn't know much of him besides what was said about him. This was perfect for him because it would allow him to still have the crazy party lifestyle without being under the harsh eye of his father and Imperator. Ruth reluctantly agrees to this but in time reaps the benefits from it as well. This deal enabled them both complete freedoms to do what they wanted. Terzo got to keep his way of life and Ruth didn't have to try and conceive and be a wife, but it still looks like they're doing their duty. Now, Ruth gets put in charge of summoning's. Mostly ghouls but she's summoned other things for imperator, whether she wanted to or not. Imperator actually puts Ruth in charge of all summoning's, even over the Emeritus, no one did a summoning without Ruth's consent or knowledge. Unfortunately for Ruth though this also meant she was in charge of sending ghouls back too. Ruth is extremely fond of ghouls and builds bonds with the ones she summons. So, when the Ghost project is being discussed Primo confides in her to help him conjure strong ghouls to help him lead.

1. Ritual

An amazing song from the first album. Captures the more doom yet fun sound of ghost yet also having a few moments of scary growly voice. Has been performed at almost (if not all) concerts so far (No Music Video)

2. Con Clavi Con Dio

Another Song from the first album. A more harsher sounding song yet still absolutely amazing with more Growly parts. One of the songs with more audible backing/echoing vocals (No Music Video)

3. If You Have Ghosts

An absolutely amazing Cover from their first EP. Even Though it's not their original song I put it in because a lot of people reference it and their right. If you have Ghost you have everything (No Music Video)

4. Year Zero

A classic and an Icon from their second album. Worshipping lyrics and just a well known song from Ghost (performed at every Concert) (Music but not equivalent to the Lore, but be warned, You will get flashed its not as bad if you watch the censored version on youtube but You can still tell)

5. Monstrance Clock

A song from their second album that has a lot of what Ghost is. Whispers, Solos, Chanting, Worshipping, Beautiful Choir. Not performed in concerts often (it's been YEARS since last time unfortunately but still an amazing song even if I have to watch recordings of past concerts ✊) (No Music Video)

6. From the Pinnacle To The Pit

An Amazing song from their Third Album. Captures the "Scooby Doo" sound of ghost, the harsher sound and the lighter sound of ghost. Sometimes Performed Live At Certain Shows (Music Video)

7. Cirice

A classic Grammy Winning song from their Third Album. Amazing guitar, Heavier and Beautiful lyrics. I thought the name of this song was Circle for the longest time lol. Performed Every Concert. Music Video but not equivalent to the Lore

8. Square Hammer

Another Classic. From their Third Album, One of Ghosts most iconic and well known songs. Amazing guitar, amazing chorus, amazing everything. The lyrics from this song is the name of the movie (Right here right now / Rite Here Rite Now). Fun Fact: This song was originally made just because Tobais needed an opener song for the album and something that'd sound good live. Performed Every Concert. Music Video Lore Related

9. Mummy Dust

An amazing Song That captures a more Heavier sound of ghost with the growly vocals, Heavy Guitar and General Beat. Another Amazing Keyboard / Keytar Solo. Performed Every Concert usually with Golden Confetti and Sometimes Mummy Bucks (No Music Video)

9. Rats

An amazing song from their Fourth album. An introduction to Cardinal Copia. A fun and iconic song with an amazing music video of Cardinal Copia dancing and getting a horse

10. Faith

Not really a song where it's like OMG YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO GET THE LORE but it's my favorite so I'm adding it. An amazing and more heavier (they're heaviest song I think) song that's like a diss track to ex band members (that's a whole other story). No official Music Video but a Visual Lyric video (I think it's funny how the visualizer video is about lobotomys since it's basically a disstrack lmao)

11. Life Eternal

I love this song. A beautiful and definitely more sad and lighter song from their fourth album. No words or comments, I love it and have (and will again) cry to it. Not performed in concerts anymore. Music video has a bit of lore in it

12. Call Me Little Sunshine

A heavier (kinda) song from their Fifth album. Beautiful guitar and lyrics. Always performed in concert. Music video yes

13. Twenties

A different sounding song (my friend said it sounds like pirate music lmao) from their Fifth album. A song about empires and the rise of empires. Not performed in concerts (was performed at the LA shows/The movie shows)

14. Darkness at the heart of my love

No lore details I just love this song and the ending is my favorite. A beautiful song from their Fifth album

15. Respite on the Spitalfields

A beautiful song from their Fifth album. A song with a beautiful solo and choir. Again, I have cried and will continue to cry to this song. The song captures what impera is about and this final song is about the fall of empires (and Jack the ripper lol)
