FT Tech News 12: How much does iPhone 14 pro max actually costs, ChatGPT not so reliable, WhatsApp new feature for groups, Windows 11 soon may have inbuilt RGB control
Tumblr media
Today we got you the latest tech news, The purpose is to give multiple news in one article that saves you time.
Topics We Have Covered
Is ChatGPT not reliable? WhatsApp new feature for groups Windows 11 soon may have RGB control replacing all third-party apps How much does it cost for one iPhone 14 Pro Max production?
Is ChatGPT not reliable?
There are two news coming out related to ChatGPT. First is that scammers and hackers are using ChatGPT to write malicious code, according to Check Point(a cybersecurity company). You must be thinking is it that simple to make ChatGPT do anything, even evil deeds? There are inbuilt filters and restrictions for ChatGPT to prevent it to do something like writing malicious code for users. If you try to ask ChatGPT to write a malicious code then it will not write instead it will give you a lecture on why this malicious code writing is bad. So basically ChatGPT is programmed to avoid engaging in activities that may harm people. Still, hackers are somehow able to outsmart the AI and fool it into writing code according to their intent. But if you want it to write a phishing email then it will write. By the way, a phishing email is an email that lures users to download or click on the link provided in the email. This leads to exposing one’s sensitive information like card details, passwords, and other personal information.
Tumblr media
Well, you can’t directly ask ChatGPT to write phishing emails instead you can ask it to write a convincing tech support note asking the receiver to download the update to his/her computer operating system which is included in the email. In the past, how people used to find or differentiate a genuine email and a phishing email was to analyze the grammatical structure of the email. A phishing email generally has grammatical mistakes or broken English. Now the emails written by ChatGPT are so professional and convincing that 99% of people can’t say it is written by an AI. Also, these AI-generated emails are most likely to get past modern email security software filters. The second news about ChatGPT is that experts warn users not to completely rely on ChatGPT. It is always not accurate. Users around the globe have found that sometimes ChatGPT gives wrong information. For example, if you are about to write a code through ChatGPT then be mindful that the code generated does not necessarily has to be 100% correct. So experts have opined that ChatGPT should not be used for “something important” right now. WhatsApp new feature for groups
WhatsApp never stops giving new features and updates to the users and this is the best thing I like about WhatsApp. No wonder why it is the most popular and used messaging social app. WhatsApp is soon going to bring a new feature called “kept messages”. This option will be available in the group setting/menu. What this new feature will do is that you will be able to keep the disappearing messages in this section.
Tumblr media
So how does this function works? After this feature goes live then you can save the disappearing messages of the groups and it all will be saved under the “kept messages” menu. Even after the disappearing messages are deleted from the groups, you can still see those messages(only if you already have saved them). These saved or kept messages will remain as long as you want even forever. Also, you can delete the messages if you don’t want to keep them anymore. This feature is currently available to those users who are using WhatsApp beta. Everyone in the group can see this “kept messages” option in their group menu. So if are willing to try this WhatsApp beta feature then you can install WhatsApp beta from the play store.
Windows 11 soon may have RGB control replacing all third-party apps
First question, do you know about RGB? If you are a gamer then you probably know but who does not know, RGB means the lights. You probably have seen laptops and computers decorated with multi-colored lighting just for the sole purpose of making devices attractive.
Tumblr media
By the way, do you know the full form of RGB? I bet you don’t because even while writing this article I didn’t know. Then I searched on the web and found that RGB full form is Red, Green, Blue. Classic, right? RGB makes the setup looks cool and it has nothing to do with an increase in fps or any other performance boost. It is just for show. If you have RGB used in your setup, you understand how hard is it to synchronize the lighting of different components. If the RGB components are from different companies, then it is a nightmare because you have to download all their official apps and try and try for almost forever to sync the lighting. And even if all the lighting is from the same manufacturer then there is no certainty that it will work in sync. But now Windows 11 will soon come with native RGB control which will make things more convenient. https://twitter.com/thebookisclosed/status/1623834738338168832 This feature was found in the latest insider build 25295 of Windows 11 by software developer Albacore. As you can see in the above screenshots that this lighting option is added to the personalization in the settings When you open the lighting interface you will be able to see all the RGB peripheral lists including the external peripherals When you click on a part. You will be able to adjust the brightness and color of the part. Not only this but you will be also able to choose between a few effects and the speed at which they repeat. How much does it cost for one iPhone 14 Pro Max production?
Tumblr media
According to Counterpoint, the actual production cost for one iPhone 14 pro max with 128GB Nand Flash is about $464. Unbelievable right? The retail cost of the iPhone 14 pro max is about $1099. The reason behind the increase in price is the marketing cost, seller profit margin, and other things. Read the full article

anons on here can't fucking research or have a sense of critical thinking and it fucking shows
I like how goat anons say its bullying and demand for alternative names when 2000s literally used Google Translate to come up with names instead of doing proper research.
Original post: https://goatlingsafterdark.tumblr.com/post/684767744832454656/context-of-2000s
1. Why the fuck are you invalidating people being uncomfortable with how language/culture is used.
2. It's a goat rant blog, people can rant all the fuck they want. You were all saying it when it suited your agenda, so there's room for this issue.
3. Why the fuck does anyone have to "prove" to you weirdos why this whole thing is a valid thing to up in arms about when you can get behind the concept of misgendering. Someone or something is being poorly represented. Education is necessary, hand-holding is not. Continually putting down others who are uncomfortable with the situation is a messy look.
The probable reason there's no witchhunt on 2000s in the dms is because it was mentioned 2000s has learning complications; that's fine, learn at your own pace. The polite warning is already out there to not use Google Translate from the screenshots; if 2000s keeps doing that and puts it on Discord, by all means, raise hell.
However, you fucks are on anon here with a flimsy defense ("IT'S JUST A NAME"), so we're all on equal playing field in understanding the crux of the issue at hand. I'm not a language expert, but I sure can google, let's learn together.
-------
Nashisuraisu: Sure, this is literally pear + slice from English to Japanese.
However, there's a distinction of pears; "nashi" commonly refers to Japanese pears, not "Yonashi" (western pears like the AD) because the word originates from Japan. "Yonashi" isn't even taken; however, even if the reference was to Japanese pears, "Wanashi" isn't even taken. Awfully geo-centric for the name, but benefit of the doubt, sure. Pears. Not even going into "suraisu" vs the various cuts in Japanese cooking and how to conjugate the concept with the noun it's being paired with.
Source: https://wa-shoku.info/wanashi-or-yonashi-%E5%92%8C%E6%A2%A8%E3%83%BB%E6%B4%8B%E6%A2%A8/
-------
Sutakyandi: It's konpeito. There's an actual. Japanese. Word.
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konpeit%C5%8D There are various users using offshoots of the actual word, variations, etc. Could literally use Conpeito (also available) and the meaning gets across from the original Japanese word, but blended with English pronunciation. Furthermore, you could even use Confeitos (also available), the Portuguese word, because the candy originated from Portugal. But nah lololol lets just google translate for star candy aite aite.
-------
Gallantuseu: Romanization of the English genus "Galanthus" for snowdrop.
Korean word for snowdrop is seolganghwa (설강화). Also available. A very hyped k-drama with the same name came out recently.
Tumblr media
-------
Let's remove these languages from the conversation entirely, let's do this with another language. If I wanted to say "eat lunch here" in Spanish, Google Translate will give me "Comer el almuerzo aquí". Technically right, but the way I probably should be saying it is "Yo almuerzo aquí", because there's an actual verb for "to eat lunch" in Spanish. Furthermore, I'm at least using bare minimum of basic Spanish, some English->Japanese translations are funky and end up with the equivalent of saying "Comer el luncho" and not even "el almuerzo".
The amount of energy a specific user spends bringing up this valid issue with this whole naming thing goes both ways; anons are on here spending just as much time putting them down. It is seriously interesting how you goofsters picked this battle, still harp on this as a non-issue, and are now choosing to die on this hill. 2000s is ignorant and not necessarily racist, but you anons arguing that this is a non-issue sure as hell are.
Is it because we're EA and known to be polite and helpful? Shall I hold your hand so you don't feel so uncomfortable with yourself?
tl;dr: Google Translate isn't 100% accurate, 2000s was already told about this nicely. People have every right to side-eye and rant on this blog if 2000s continues to keep/make shitty romanized names from Google Translate.
caveat: like I said, not an expert in these languages, so there are more qualified people that can jump in and correct my research. At least I researched.

FAQ
What is the purpose of Fanexus?
Fanexus was originally conceived as a way to make it easier to organize fandom content. The founders are fans who have followed fandom activity as it has migrated across many different social media platforms, and found that none of them quite suited their needs. After spending years thinking about how each of these platforms could be altered to better support fandom activity, we eventually realized that we’d amassed the money, skills and connections to make a platform ourselves.
Fanexus is also open to use by original creators; original works are where fandom begins, after all. Enthusiasts of non-media fandoms, such as people who are passionate about interests as broad as cooking, crafting, interior decorating, brewing, extreme sports, rock collecting, history, model-building, archaeology, philosophy, etc, are also all welcome to use Fanexus as a place to post about and discuss their interests and ideas. Fanexus can be used for any type of interest so long as it doesn’t violate our rules regarding legality, harassment and hate speech.
While we originally wanted to create Fanexus as a means to better organize our content, as we’ve watched toxicity in fandom grow to increasingly alarming levels in the last few years, we’ve decided that making Fanexus a space that actively opposes this toxicity is a goal of equal importance to us. We want Fanexus to be a place where people can explore weird, complex and dark things in art and fiction without being accused of endorsing those things, and can have nuanced discussions and debates without things immediately devolving into insults and dogpiling.
You can read more about the philosophy driving Fanexus here.
Why an integrated wiki?
We would like to go over some of the issues we’ve faced as fans that inspired the inclusion of the wiki:
There are a lot of fandoms that have very complex fanon worldbuilding/terminology/characterisations/etc, and this can be very confusing for a new fan. The way we have the wiki set up means that users will be able to go straight from a post that mentions those concepts to the wiki page for those concepts (we’ll elaborate on how this works in a later post dedicated to this feature), instead of having to search through other parts of the internet for an up-to-date fanon wiki for this fandom. We feel like people will be more likely to keep these wiki pages updated than they would if it were an external wiki, because once they have accounts on Fanexus, it will be very easy to quickly go and update a wiki page on the site, rather than going and creating a new account for a separate wiki.
In a similar vein, fandoms can produce very interesting AUs that many different fans contribute to. We’ve had the experience of coming across a piece of artwork or fiction based on one of these AUs and wanting to know more, but then finding it very difficult to track down information that explains what the AU is about, and people’s various different takes on it. We thought that by providing a wiki feature, people could create pages for each of these AUs and then update them as they develop. The AU itself may not be complex enough to justify the creation of an entire wiki for it, but having a page or two dedicated to it could certainly be helpful. The same logic applies to things such as OCs.
People develop their own personal headcanons which can be very complex, and it can be tiresome to have to explain them over and over. So if users can create wiki pages for each of their headcanons (or AUs, OCs, etc) and link them whenever they’re necessary to understand the context of say, a fic they wrote or a piece of art they made, it could save them a lot of bother. Personal wiki pages won’t be available on launch, but we’re endeavouring to add them as soon as we can.
Can you tell us more about your other features?
Details of the features we’ve announced so far can be found here.
We intend to add new features to Fanexus to improve our users’ experiences for as long as we have the funding to do so. We endeavour to add features that are highly demanded by our userbase, so long as the features in question are within our legal and technical capabilities to implement, and align with the philosophy of Fanexus.
How is this being funded? Will it be free to use?
Right now the beta is being paid for by the founders. Once the beta is online and in use, we plan to have a Kickstarter to fund the development of additional features we couldn’t afford to include in the beta. Fanexus will be freemium, which means it will be free to use, with premium features such as added customisation, that will be used for the ongoing funding of the site.
Will there be a mobile app?
Currently we have a responsive web app, but a mobile app is one of the first things we intend to develop should we get the required funding via the Kickstarter.
What kind of customisation options will Fanexus have?
In the long term, we hope to introduce in-depth customisation options to Fanexus, some of which will be premium options. We will take feedback from our userbase to decide what customisation features we will prioritise implementing first.
Are all ships welcome on Fanexus?
Yes. We understand that the reasons someone may enjoy a ship can be very complex, unexpected and/or personal, and have nothing to do with a belief that the ship is healthy or a desirable relationship to have in reality. So long as a person understands the separation between fiction and reality, and knows what a healthy real life relationship is like, we maintain that they should be able to ship what they like. We just ask that they tag their content for people who wish to avoid it. This extends to the shipping of real life people, with the provision that if Fanexus gets a direct request from any of these real people asking to have shipping content of them removed, we will remove content containing them specifically, out of courtesy.
Is NSFW content allowed on Fanexus?
Fanexus welcomes NSFW content, simply requiring that it be tagged with an adult content warning so that it is hidden from underage users.
Our servers are currently hosted in Denmark, so content posted on Fanexus must abide by Danish law.
Further details of what sort of content is and isn’t permitted on Fanexus will be outlined in our TOS, which will be shared prior to launch.
How old do you have to be to use Fanexus?
Fanexus will be 13+, with adults-only spaces. On sign up, users will be asked if they are over 18, and anyone who indicates that they are a minor will be required to enter their DOB. Posts and blogs that are marked as Adults Only will then be hidden from minor users until they turn 18. Minors found to be lying about their age to interact with adult content will be banned. We looked into ways we could have people prove their age on sign up, but we couldn’t find any practical, reliable method. People were uncomfortable with providing personal information, and given that many adults don’t have credit cards, while many minors borrow their guardians’ credit cards, having people make a credit card deposit to prove their age wasn’t a viable solution.
Will Fanexus be doing anything to protect minors?
We believe that the best form of protection against online dangers is education, and so we’re in the process of compiling educational resources to be made available on the site so that people are aware of what sort of red flags to look out for when it comes to a variety of online threats. We also want to provide information about the separation between fiction and reality, so that minors (or anybody impressionable) won’t misunderstand or be manipulated with fiction into thinking that unhealthy behaviors and attitudes presented in dark/complicated/self-indulgent fiction and art are acceptable in reality.
We currently have the following ideas for distributing this information:
We’ll have a staff blog that provides site updates, and also periodically posts articles containing this information.
We’ll keep a compilation of this information available on a page on the site, which will be easily accessible via the navigation bar.
Eventually we want to introduce a feature where if a user searches for particular keywords, a banner appears above the search results, linking to helpful/education information relevant to the keywords. The banner will be able to be hid so it doesn’t show up again in subsequent searches.
We will of course also have a mod team watching out for any reports of suspect behaviour that may be endangering minors (or any of our users), who will take action to neutralise these threats. Another feature we are planning to develop to help our mods protect minors is a keyword detector for comments and DMs. This will scan the comments and DMs of minor users for any keywords that suggest they may be being targeted, and send a warning to our mods to check up on them.
What is your affiliation with the Prostasia Foundation?
The Prostasia Foundation is a child protection organization that adopts an evidence-based approach to child sexual abuse prevention, that respects human rights and is sex-positive. Being evidence-based means that their positions are based on scientific research. Fanexus reached out to Prostasia because we agree with these tenets, and wanted to find ways to create a safe space that doesn’t resort to censorship. Prostasia proved to be extremely helpful in this respect, offering us information on legality, the impact fiction actually has on reality, and effective methods to protect minors, all based on research. They have also offered to help us develop our keyword detector feature.
Prostasia has an Advisory Council made of voluntary, unpaid experts from relevant fields. These advisory members do not carry any vote or authority on deciding Prostasia policy, and the views that they express on social media or elsewhere are not necessarily representative of the views of the Prostasia Foundation. Fanexus’s point of contact with Prostasia has been with the Foundation’s Executive Director, and we have no affiliation with the members of their Advisory Council.
Similarly, Fanexus has no vote or authority in deciding Prostasia policy, nor do we sign off on anything they publish, unless it directly references us. The reverse is also true, while Prostasia provides us with advice, they don’t sign off on all the decisions or statements made by Fanexus.
Are you trying to replace Archive of Our Own?
No. We love Archive of Our Own and we have tremendous respect for the Organisation for Transformative Works, but we can’t affiliate with them due to the rules that govern not-for-profit organisations. You will definitely be able to host fanfiction and original fiction on Fanexus, but we’re currently more focused on covering the areas that Archive of Our Own doesn’t already have great features for, such as providing a space where people can host art, have discussions, role play, and document information about their headcanons, worldbuilding, original characters, etc.
Will Fanexus be open to all or invite-only?
We want Fanexus to be open to all eventually, but we also anticipate that the sort of people who promote and thrive on fandom’s toxicity will sign-up with the express purpose of breaking the rules we put in place to protect people from them. To avoid that happening en masse on launch, Fanexus will initially be invite-only. Once we have an established community of fans who can report trolls and other troublemakers, we will open Fanexus up.
In order to get an invite to Fanexus, you will need to apply via this form. If you are accepted, you will be emailed an invite (please check your junk mail) to our  Forum and Discord. Users of the Forum and Discord will be given priority invites to the site.
When’s the release?
As of the 29th of August, most of our initial features are finished, and are in the process of being bug-tested. We plan to start allowing users of our Forum/Discord on the site within the next month. Fanexus will open up to the public after the Forum/Discord users have thoroughly tested the capabilities of the site, and we’ve implemented any further features required to cover weaknesses they’ve found.

HERE'S WHAT I JUST REALIZED ABOUT CIRCLE
It's hard to think of startup ideas. If this is true it has interesting implications, because discipline can be cultivated. Try talking to everyone you can about the gaps they find in the world, and this is easier for writers as well as readers. That means they want less money, but also that there are more and more valuable. When they go to VC firms. Anyone can see they're not the target market. If that's true, most startups that turn down acquisition offers is not necessarily that all such offers undervalue startups. That will change the atmosphere, and not before. The time required to raise money. Whoever the next Google is, they're probably going to have to be at the mercy of their own imagination. About 20% of the startups from preventable deaths.
Investors collude. If you look at the instruments. I didn't make a lot of time on the software. One could do a lot better for a lot of investors will reject you in a way that seems to violate conservation laws. I took embarrassingly long to catch on. I said in the second version, why didn't I have the easy confidence winners are supposed to have? It's equivalent to asking how to make a difference. A palliative care nurse called Bronnie Ware made a list of n things is a degenerate case of essay. Angels can take greater risks because they don't have to look for things that seem completely unrelated, like social networking apps. It's supposed to mean that a deal is going to be. Distinguishing between wise and smart is a modern habit. Dropbox: an SAT prep startup.
Philip Greenspun said in Founders at Work that Ars Digita's VCs did this to them. It certainly describes what happened in Viaweb. But neither should you let them run the company. Another drawback of large investments is the time they take. There do not seem to be superficial reasons. In the time of Confucius and Socrates, wisdom, virtue, and happiness were necessarily related. If you run out of money, you have to figure out what you'd need to reproduce Silicon Valley. I would guess that practically every Stanford or Berkeley undergrad who knows how to program has at least considered the idea of starting a startup means the average good bet is a riskier one, but most can upload a file. What surprised me was their reaction when I called to talk about buying you. If you look at the way successful founders have had their ideas, it's not the deciding factor. Everyone he knows has seen that picture. To evaluate whether your startup is worth investing in.
I decided the critical ingredients were rich people and nerds—investors and founders. It takes an effort of will to push through this and get something released to users. Google's founders were willing to fund teams of MBAs who planned to outsource their product development—which to my mind is actually a lot riskier than investing in a pair of 18 year old hackers, no matter how finished you thought it was important for a founder to be an expert in business. A termsheet is not legally binding, but it is a definite step. There seem to be ideas for companies, just things that would be the first to switch to it. And yet when they started the company. But Mark already lived online; to him it seemed natural. That may not be possible to do that completely. One of the two founders was still in grad school, but we're focusing on growing the company. But coming up with startup ideas is to work on a recipe site. This is one of the people who are committed enough to prefer that, and c only hire people who are committed enough to prefer that, and c only hire people who are really good at acting formidable often solve this problem by giving investors the impression that while no investors have committed yet, several are about to.
But I've proposed to several VC firms that they set aside some money and designate one partner to make more, smaller bets, and they bounced back. Even a bad cook can make a decent cheeseburger. Reading Fred's post made me go back and figure out if they were returning to work after a months-long illness. You could replace high schools too, but there are signs it might be as much as a half. You generally shouldn't pass up a definite funding offer to move. Start a company? But there are limits to how well you answer their questions. A good deal of willfulness must be inborn, because it's common to see families where one sibling has much more of it than another.
Recipes for wisdom, particularly ancient ones, tend to have a qualification appended: at games that change slowly. I don't know exactly what the future will look like, but I'm British by birth. No amount of discipline can replace genuine curiosity. Now I would guess that practically every Stanford or Berkeley undergrad who knows how to program has at least considered the idea of switching seems thinkable to me. You have to be generated by software, so we wrote some. The idea that a successful person should be happy has thousands of years, then switches polarity? This leads to the phenomenon known in the Valley as the hot deal, where you can assume that if you can't predict whether there's a path out of an idea, a working prototype; if you win an Olympic gold medal, you can be wise without being very smart. Judging startups is hard even for the most successful of that group by an order of magnitude larger than the number who want it, not how to convert that wealth into money. To count as research, the less likely it is to be something that could only ever have appealed to Harvard students, it would be an amazing hack. You're all smart and working on promising ideas. Something that curtly contradicts one's beliefs can be hard to sell. If startup failure were a disease, the CDC would be issuing bulletins warning people to avoid day jobs.
As I was leaving I offered it to him, as I've done countless times before in the same spirit. In a sense there's just one point, you don't really understand them. They insist on it. So why did I spend 6 months working on this stupid idea? Corporate Development, aka corp dev, ask yourselves, Do we want to keep in close touch as you develop it further. And not just because we make small investments; many have gone on to raise further rounds. VCs: How would you like a job where you never got to make anything, but instead ask do we suck? They say Yeah, maybe I could see myself—making at least 4 of these 5 mistakes.
Considering how basic a red circle is, it seemed surprising to me when we started YC. The last one might be the most progressive. You can't use euphemisms like didn't go anywhere for something that's your only occupation. One Canadian startup we funded could appear in a Newsweek article describing them as the next generation of billionaires, because then the cycle of generating new versions and testing them on users can happen inside one head. After they merged with X. So here's the recipe for impressing investors when you're not already good at seeming formidable the first time in history they're no longer getting the best people. I mean truly evaluate whether your startup is worth investing in, rather than whether it's going to take, and the doctors figure out what's wrong. Probably no one who applied to Y Combinator to work on projects that seem like they'd be cool. The only way to decide which to call it is by comparison with other startups.
Thanks to Patrick Collison, Jessica Livingston, Sam Altman, Robert Morris, the founders of Zenter, and Justin Kan for smelling so good.

Features of higher quality commercial cameras.
Security is essential for any business. After all, you can't manage your day-to-day operations and expect to be successful if you can't protect your assets.
More and more companies are investing in state-of-the-art commercial security cameras and systems, due to their superior functionality, storage, ease of installation, and remote viewing capabilities. Commercial enterprises now have access to extremely powerful surveillance systems at relatively reasonable prices.
Since every business has its own security and video surveillance needs, choosing the right features for your security cameras is essential. Here are some of the essential features to consider in your business security camera systems.
Remote video surveillance.
To get the most out of your surveillance camera, you need to be able to view its video feeds and stored footage on demand. While you may have a traditional security system that will contact you in case there is an intrusion or other unauthorized activity on your business premises, the best business security cameras should allow you to capture the activity on the spot. from anywhere, from your PC, smartphone or tablet. They can even warn you if they detect movement at certain times.
Remote surveillance relies on a stable internet connection to take images and transmit live surveillance footage captured by your security cameras, then send them to your internet-connected device.
Internet protocol and high resolution.
A large number of companies still use analog security systems with often limited functionality.
The good news, however, is that more and more businesses are harnessing the incredible innovations of Internet Protocol (IP) and megapixel video surveillance technology to better secure their buildings and business assets.
Infrared capability.
Another great feature to consider for your business security cameras is the night vision or infrared option. This is especially important for outdoor security cameras. While monitoring your business during the day is essential, you also need to keep it secure throughout the night. Infrared cameras give you quality day and night surveillance for warehouses, parking lots, showrooms, perimeter walls, offices and other indoor and outdoor applications.
These cameras are equipped with advanced features allowing you to capture images in complete darkness. They are also available with additional features such as pan-tilt-zoom capabilities, wide-angle lenses for extended viewing range and motion detection.
Related Post: Comparative table of the resolution of CCTV cameras.
Save money with stand-alone systems.
A security camera installation crew can be very expensive, but it doesn't have to be.
If you or your employees are comfortable laying a coaxial or Ethernet cable with the help of a remote support team, and your security system is easy enough to install, you can do it yourself. in the afternoon and thus save a lot of money. Here's how to install a security camera with professional results.
The money you will save on fees.
The traditional installation of a 4-8 security camera system can cost you anywhere from $ 1,000 to $ 2,500, depending on how many cameras and features you need.
Costs only increase from there if you've selected a business with a monthly subscription. It can cost anywhere from $ 20 to $ 100 or more every month just to get things working.
The important components of a DIY security camera system.
Easy to install.
Just plug in the power cord and video cord (same for network IP systems) and you are good to go.
Free support.
You and your team might be the ones to hook up every camera on site, but you'll have access to unlimited technical support and a team of security experts based near you to help you every step of the way through phone. This includes an initial consultation to make sure you get the right equipment, the current installation process, and troubleshooting if anything goes wrong.
Remote viewing without subscription or fees.
One of the great things about DIY security camera systems is that you can view your live and recorded footage from anywhere on your smartphone or computer for free.
Start with your system.
With a DIY security camera setup, you can more easily start with one or two cameras and add more as your coverage needs increase.
Adapt the security system to your needs.
Nothing beats the flexibility offered by installing a DIY security camera systems in Chicago. Even with a limited budget, you can still combine the monitoring options according to your needs. By choosing to install a plug-and-play security system yourself, you can easily adjust it to meet your unique indoor or outdoor surveillance needs in your home, business or other property.
Connect a security camera to a cell phone.
Surveillance camera technology has come a long way. Today, you can receive a motion alert on your cell phone when your security cameras detect motion in front of your front door or in your store. An alert like this could appear on your smartphone when you are at work or traveling on business. Then you need to click on the monitoring app to see what's going on.
Having an extra eye on your business, home or other valuable assets, wherever you are and at any time of the day is essential for your peace of mind. All you need is a quality security camera system. If you want to connect security cameras to your cell phone, here is a simple guide on how the options work for the best remote viewing experience:
How to connect security cameras to a cell phone?
To link your home or business security cameras to your cell phone and see what's going on while you're away, you need a quality security camera or system and a surveillance app. supporting Android and iOS systems. The bright side is that almost all security cameras today, especially IP security cameras, can now be linked to cell phones. But there are huge differences in monitoring applications.
How to find security cameras that will connect to your phone?
The main thing to watch out for is the remote viewing functionality of the security cameras. With this feature, cameras can be connected to devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers. Check if the security camera supports both operating systems (iOS or Android) and they can connect to your phone and work fine. It's a good idea to check out what other buyers have to say about connecting specific security cameras to their cellphones and how easy the app is to use.
How to connect your security camera (s) to your phone?
Once you're confident that your security cameras can be linked to your phone, follow the four easy steps to enjoy remote viewing even on the go. Often times, remote viewing on phones can be easily set up by scanning a QR code on the NVR. Whether you have an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, LG, Google Pixel, or some other type of phone, here's what you need to do to connect security cameras to your cell phone:
-Install the mobile security camera app on your device.
-Launch the surveillance app and add your security cameras.
-Click on the security camera (s) associated with your cell phone and enjoy the live viewing.
- Set custom monitoring configurations, such as motion detection mode, download MODE, alert frequency, etc. to meet your specific monitoring needs.
Some tips for filming license plates.
Security cameras capable of capturing license plates can be a challenge for any business wanting to pursue thieves who flee by car. It takes a lot of knowledge to install a surveillance camera in order to effectively capture a license plate. This guide provides some of the information you need to monitor license plates.
Choose the right camera.
Of course, the first and most important step when considering capturing a license plate is choosing the right camera. There are tons of security cameras that claim to show incredible detail and be able to capture anything and everything.
Blur during movement.
Even HD security cameras cannot film a plate when a vehicle is in motion. A high resolution camera is designed for general surveillance, for example to capture people or animals, and not to register moving vehicles. This means that the camera's frame rate is lower, which leads to blurring when an object is moving faster than what the camera is set for. When the blur occurs, it becomes impossible to read text and there is no way to improve the image. It is important to purchase a camera that allows fine adjustment of the shutter rate in order to allow capturing of plate images of a moving vehicle.
The contrast day and night.
Suppose your security camera uses a high frame rate and can capture plaques during the day. This will not necessarily be the case at night. A camera with an automatic or static shutter rate will not be able to properly compensate for loss of brightness at night while the camera's infrared lights are active. Night vision security cameras emit too much infrared light, causing light reflection or glare on a white license plate. A license plate camera will allow the user to set dual shutter rate control, i.e. separate shutter rate setting for day and night to prevent glare IR at night.
Install the camera in the right place.
It is also extremely important to keep the location in mind when planning to shoot plates. The camera must film approaching or exiting vehicles so that the angle between the camera lens and the plates does not exceed 15 degrees in the horizontal or vertical planes. If the camera is too far to the side or if it is mounted too high, it will not be able to see the plate clearly. To get the best license plate capture possible, the camera will need to capture the path taken by moving vehicles from the front.
Distance and height.
The distance between the camera and where you want to capture the plate will be the first factor to consider when mounting the camera. Depending on the camera model, mount the camera at least 8 m and no more than 50 m from where vehicles will pass. It depends on the lens and the specifications of the camera. Refer to the description and specifications of the camera you intend to purchase to determine how far you can shoot yourself a license plate. Height is another important factor as you need to make sure that the camera is not installed too high. Large differences in height create problems because the text becomes unreadable.

How to Select the Right All-Purpose Cleaner
When Wake Forest homeowners clean their house, they want to make sure that they are using the safest and most effective all-purpose cleaner. MaidPro Triangle, an experienced house cleaning service in Wake Forest, is sharing five tips to consider when choosing an all-purpose cleaner.
1: Acidity and alkalinity
A cleaner is considered all-purpose if it falls in the middle of the 0–14 pH scale, ranging from slightly acidic (pH=6) to neutral (pH-7) to slightly alkaline (pH=8). Alkaline-leaning all-purpose cleaners are somewhat more effective at breaking up organic grime such as dirt, oil, and grease. More acid-leaning solutions are better at cleaning inorganic types of stains such as calcium deposits, rust, or soap scum. Inorganic stains form when molecules from soap bond with minerals in water. Most dishwashing liquids fall into the 6–8 pH range, so they make great stand-ins for many all-purpose cleaning tasks.
2: Safety for people and pets
Since all-purpose cleaners have a neutral pH, they are generally the safest choices for use around children, elderly, asthmatics, allergy sufferers, and pets. Solutions that fall outside of the 6–8pH range can burn skin, eyes, and respiratory tract tissues. When it comes to other dangerous chemicals, be aware that cleaning-solution manufacturers are permitted to incorporate a wide range of chemicals into their solutions. They are NOT required to list each ingredient on the label. Consumers should be cautious when umbrella-sounding terms are on a cleaner’s ingredient list. The fine print and usage guidelines such as instructions to ventilate well, wear gloves, avoid contact with skin, limit exposure time, or rinse thoroughly are strong indicators of how chemically harsh a solution really is.
3: Synthetic vs. natural or plant-based
All cleaners that work well are essentially chemical in nature. Some are composed of synthetics, which are chemicals created in a lab or factory. Plant-based cleaners rely on chemicals produced in nature. Cleaning solutions labeled as natural or green are not necessarily safer than synthetics. A good cleaner, whether synthetic or plant-based, will be formulated to pick up dirt and to be free rinsing, leaving little to no residue behind when used as instructed. In other words, most of the solution is removed when it is wiped away with a rag or cloth. A poor cleaner, whether synthetic or plant-based, can fall apart chemically when dissolved in water. Aside from failing to bond with and remove dirt particles, such cleaners have the potential to leave behind damaging and even dangerous residues that are not always visible.
4: Streaking/residue
Streaking is a good indicator that an all-purpose cleaner is leaving behind unwanted residues, which can release dangerous particles into the air. These residues can become breeding grounds for bacteria and other germs. When a recently cleaned surface seems to get dirty quickly, this is a warning sign that either the all-purpose cleaner is either not free rinsing or the user is not properly doing the rinsing process. When the chemicals designed to bond with and lift dirt away are left behind as residue, they will bond with dirt and oils and attract more grime to the area that was just cleaned.
5: Convenience vs. costs
Convenience in all-purpose cleaning solutions allows for many options. Sprays are generally easier to use than liquids, and pre-diluted solutions are easier than concentrates. Pre-treated wipes are easier than solutions that need separate cloths or sponges to apply. Gentler all-purpose cleaning solutions may also need more time to sit on a surface in order to effectively dissolve soils, sanitize, and disinfect. Tradeoffs for convenience are, of course, higher costs in terms of price, storage space, environmental impacts from packaging, transportation costs, and potentially safety as faster-working solutions often incorporate harsher chemicals.
A golden rule of home cleaning is to always use the least harsh, most effective solution for any cleaning job at hand. Cleaning regularly makes that rule much easier to follow. If there is a time crunch, get in touch with expert cleaners at MaidPro Triangle to see how they can help.

How to Sell Luxury Products to Millennials
Luxury retailers need a less traditional approach if they want the ‘me generation’ to buy their products. Here are some tips for reaching this coveted cohort of consumers.
Jan 22, 2020 9:15 AM   By Leah Meirovich
RAPAPORT... Millennial consumers are independent, vocal, tech-savvy and used to getting what they want. They have disposable income and aren’t afraid to spend it on things they believe add value to their lives, no matter the price tag. But successfully enticing this market into your store is not as easy as it was with their moms and dads, and retaining them can be even more difficult. That’s why it’s essential to understand what makes them tick, and how to capture their loyalty.
Create a good user experience
“Millennial shoppers want an experience” is a common talking point in retail. But what does that mean? What constitutes an experience, and what type of experience is this generation looking for? Most importantly, how much will it cost you to make it happen?
“Experience has become synonymous with millennial consumers, and in jewelry and luxury goods, opportunities abound to deliver a memorable moment,” says Kathryn Bishop, research and insights director of the Women’s Jewellery Network (WJN). “But here’s the thing — experience doesn’t have to be costly or ostentatious. It can be as simple as offering shoppers a glass of champagne and taking time to listen and learn about their lifestyles, preferences and personalities before pushing product their way.”
Karen Barry, a senior consultant with retail sales trainer The Friedman Group, agrees that millennials aren’t necessarily seeking a flashy experience, but something that gives them a link to the product they are considering for purchase.
“Millennials…are more enticed by an item’s personal meaning or story,” she emphasizes. “Tell them about the mining process, or how your buyer selects specific items, or anything that connects the piece to people or otherwise brings it to life.”
Even creating experiences that require you to splurge a little can more than reward your efforts by forging bonds with new customers.
“Have an event where you invite your best millennial clients to come into your shop, bring friends and create a wish list,” says Kathleen Cutler, a sales expert for high-end jewelers. “Ask for the name of the person who would purchase off the wish list, and you can reach out to them with the suggestions.”
Cater to the individual
Unlike bargain goods, luxury items appeal to millennials because they are often one-of-a-kind products, and this generation considers itself highly individual. Millennials don’t want to wear “someone else’s engagement ring,” as bespoke jeweler Taylor & Hart declares in one of its ad campaigns.
“Millennials don’t want to look like everyone else,” states Bishop, stressing that retailers need to keep this attitude in mind when choosing their stock and marketing their products.
Barry concurs: “Individuality matters to millennials. When selecting products for your merchandise mix, include elements of current trends while still ensuring each piece is unique.”
Cutler suggests offering customizable products, such as high-end nameplates that spell out the name of a significant other or a memorable date. But beyond that, she advises, “know your designers and their why, which is always best told through strategic storytelling. The millennial customer wants to feel connected to the brands they are buying, and will be extremely loyal when the brand vision resonates with them.”
Diversify your marketing efforts
While consumers come from a broad demographic, that variety doesn’t always make its way into companies’ advertising campaigns. Millennials are more inclusive and expect the world to be more inclusive of them, notes Barry.
Be aware of the diversity of images you share in ads and social media — and on your sales floor,” she urges. “Representation matters, and millennials want to see a wide variety of ethnicities, gender and sexual identities, ages, abilities and disabilities, cultural and family backgrounds, and even fashion styling. Your imagery should match your clientele, and your reach should be as broad as possible.”
Expanding your focus group is essential, adds Bishop, as therein lies the potential to drive tomorrow’s jewelry spending. “Consider the fact that your future target audience for diamond jewelry will expand beyond heterosexual couples, men seeking the perfect engagement ring, or the burgeoning number of self-purchasing women,” she says. “[Millennials] have the potential to spend not only on commitment and wedding rings, but on new occasions and relationships that jewelers might previously have never considered marketing for, like coming-out parties and Friendsmas.”
Cultivate open communication
The millennial consumer seeks community and a sense of belonging, and wants to connect with others more than ever, says Benjamin Smithee, CEO of retail consultancy The Smithee Group. Fostering an environment that lets these consumers receive and share information about your brand is imperative.
“Brands are a micro-community, [and] they must have a strategy for not only growing the community, but nurturing it,” he stresses. “That is more than an email newsletter and Instagram account. How are you creating opportunities for your fans to connect? How are you empowering your rockstar advocates to tell your story to others? And how are you listening to your community for feedback on how to evolve and grow over time?”
There are many ways to reach your consumers, says Barry, from phone calls to texts and social media. This generation has ever-increasing options of what to buy and where to buy it, so keeping in touch is more important than ever.
“Use social media as an engagement strategy, not simply to post photos of product and announce sales,” she says. “Respond to as many comments as possible, update regularly, and engage in storytelling. They are bombarded with ads on their social media feed. Stay top-of-mind by having memorable, engaging, purposeful posts with a true human connection.”
Make your engagement personal
Don’t just blast your customers with your business, make it theirs, too. Millennials want to engage and be part of your brand. They see it as more of a lifestyle than a business, and they want to feel like they matter.
“Send a message to important customers following a sale,” suggests Cutler. “Ask them for photos of your jewelry being worn, so you can feature them in both your social media and your email newsletter. This will continue to create loyalty and visibility for your brand while creating an affinity for your customer and their friends.”
Making your marketing personal automatically makes your customers part of your brand, Barry affirms. She believes the more you include customers in your business, the more faithful they’ll be when it comes time to make another purchase or suggest a jeweler to a friend. “[Post] stories and photos of couples who have purchased from you, employees sharing their favorite pieces with personal stories, [customers’] engagement photos with your rings, custom items shown with the story of the design process,” she recommends. “All of those make your store a part of people’s lives, not just a place to buy jewelry.”
Accept them on equal footing
Millennials are one of the most educated generations and have a penchant for researching and planning most major purchases. While a jeweler’s job is to be an expert and to impart knowledge, doing so in a controlling fashion can alienate customers.
“While it’s important to present yourself as an expert, be cautious not to talk down to a millennial,” warns Barry. “They are confident and prefer to be involved and treated as equals. Share your knowledge, but also take time to ask for their opinions and input.”
Retailers should be casual and friendly, ask great questions, and be prepared with an answer when asked, agrees Cutler. “They’ve most likely done their research online, so they arrive armed with tons of information. This may tempt you to take back authority and position yourself as the more knowledgeable expert, but don’t fall into this trap. You run the risk of the millennial interpreting your knowledge as condescending.”
Go old-school – with a twist
Merging a traditional sales approach with a new attitude is a great way to hook millennial consumers, says Bishop, who is also deputy foresight editor at trend consultancy The Future Laboratory. She suggests hosting focus groups to better understand what motivates these buyers, from the types of occasions they see as important, to what visual and design cues stimulate them.
One classic tactic that’s come back into style is keeping notes to make sure your clients don’t forget an occasion, says Cutler. “Start collecting names and dates [of partners and friends] and reach out to customers six weeks ahead of these important dates.”
That said, retailers need to understand that with millennials, not every experience or conversation needs to lead to a sale — for now. Instead, stores should work on building bonds and creating a feel-good environment centered around their brands.
“The problem millennials have with most experiences is that right at the end of a potentially amazing experience is a forced sales attempt that sours the taste,” explains Smithee. “Brands shouldn’t worry about immediate return on investment. Instead, they should focus on creating the most value for the customer. That’s what will inspire them to return.”
The shopper’s perspective
Teaming up
Collaborations are among the key trends of today’s luxury market, according to an April 2019 study by Boston Consulting Group and Altagamma. Some 60% of millennials have purchased “special edition” products that were partnerships between different brands and artists, the survey found.
Count the goods
The average luxury consumer in the millennial and Generation Z age bracket (16 to 34) owns nine luxury fashion items from the accessories, apparel and footwear categories, according to a report by NPD Group and Stylitics.
The genuine article
Unlike previous generations, most millennials don’t buy luxury because of its exclusivity. In fact, only 6% of millennials and Gen Z-ers surveyed by luxury fashion site Highsnobiety purchased high-end goods out of a desire to express wealth, and 85% believed in the brand’s ideals and authenticity. In addition, only about half of respondents thought the luxury item they’d bought was of better quality than affordable alternatives.
Repeat performance
When it comes to purchasing high-end products regularly, millennials take the top spot, with 25- to 34-year-olds comprising 34% of repeat luxury sales, according to a survey by Global Web Index. Men in particular tend to be repeat buyers, making up 67% of shoppers in that category.
For what it’s worth
Approximately 50% of millennial consumers consider the long-term resale value of a luxury item when purchasing it, reported Boston Consulting Group and Altagamma.

Code Geass MBTI Challenge Turn 6: Rolo Lamperouge - ISTP
Tumblr media
While he is commonly seen as a controversial character, Rolo Lamperouge has always been one of my personal favourites in the show because of the amount of development he makes as a person (much like Jeremiah) in the relatively short screen time given to him and the kind of life he was forced to lead. And while he still remains unhealthy in the end, I still think that his character arc is very interesting to explore and that it provides a fresh perspective on the otherwise heavily-stereotyped-to-be-a-craftsman ISTP type. Before I start explaining this character’s functions, please keep in mind, that this post will contain heavy Code Geass spoilers, so consider yourself warned. With that out of the way, let us analyse why Rolo Lamperouge is an ISTP.
Dominant Introverted Thinking/Ti
Tumblr media
Considering that we just finished analysing Nina, this would be a good opportunity to compare the thinking mechanisms of INTP and ISTP, as both use Ti as their dominant, yet in slightly different ways due to their auxiliary and tertiary function influencing them. We can see that, much like with Nina, Rolo’s logic is very situational and based on experience: having been trained as an assassin and an assassin only since early childhood, he is an expert in his field of work and almost nothing else. He does not comprehend the aspects of life that have little to do with whatever his Ti is currently involved in. This is a bit of an extreme example of how dominant Ti works, but it’s also good at highlighting the kind of specialist mindset that comes with this function and how far it can go for underdeveloped Ti-doms.
We see that Rolo has a strong focus on whatever his current mission may be, approaching each assignment on a case-by-case basis - he basically adapts to the “logic” needed for every job he has to carry out without really relying on previously established logical systems, like a Te-dom would. The most noticeable example of this is how well he manages to play the part of Lelouch’s brother despite never having a family of his own and hence any experience at naturally acting as someone’s family member.
At the same time Rolo bases his judgements on personal experience and is most comfortable with sticking to the methods he’s more skilled in. Because he is a rather underdeveloped ISTP however, this often leads to him making harmful decisions, as his basic response to any potential threat is to murder it as quickly as possible, especially later on in the series when his motivation becomes the protection of his new brother. It is also important to note that Rolo only really starts to develop once his Ti is used in a way that is meaningful to him, which is exactly why it was so easy for him to defect to Lelouch’s side: using dominant Ti in favour of one’s passions or interests is key to using it healthily.
Auxiliary Extroverted Sensing/Se
Tumblr media
Rolo is a very practically-minded person and deals only in what he considers to be observable or factually proven, showing early on that he doesn’t like to leave things up to chance, which is why he always tries to finish his missions as quickly and efficiently as possible, as seen by his reluctance to let Lelouch live after cornering him. Even with the possibility of Lelouch drawing out C.C. letting him go seems like too much of a gamble for him and it takes a lot of convincing on Lelouch’s part before Rolo decides to take his bait.
Rolo’s Se also contributes to how he treats his missions, preferring to be personally involved in all important matters (instead of relying on others) and to primarily focus on short-term concerns, making him good at improvising in unexpected situations (this kind of skill does not necessarily apply to all high Se users, however it can occur due to Se’s nature as a function with a focus on the present).
However, while Rolo uses his auxiliary function to aid him practically, he has not developed it in a way that would support his personal growth (the development of the auxiliary function is key to the maturity of a person of any type). Perhaps mostly due to his “upbringing” as an assassin he does not use it to see what kind of activities/sensory involvement he actually enjoys doing or finds meaning in, instead only applying it in a very limited way to accomplish goals, which he has no stake in, even considering his own life to be expendable and claiming that it does not need to contain any meaning. Only after he joins Lelouch does Rolo actually understand that protecting his brother is what gives his life purpose (a concept that is still flawed due to how unhealthy he is, but still better than what he started with), which fills him with motivation and loyalty and even allows him to die a happy, albeit delusional, death.
Tertiary Introverted Intuition/Ni
Tumblr media
Throughout all of Code Geass Rolo can be seen having an unhealthy relationship with his tertiary Ni (although the views supporting that relationship and even its very nature change dramatically), which again can mostly be traced back to the kind of brainwashing he was probably subjected to as a child by the Geass Order. Ni is a function that deals with ideological organisation (as in organisation of ideas and not necessarily ideologies), introspection and meaning. The latter is especially important in Rolo’s case, as for most of his life he had been convinced that it doesn’t have any worth and doesn’t need to have any meaning. He believes that he can simply exist by blindly following orders without once asking himself why he does what he does, even comparing his assassination jobs to “brushing his teeth”. At that point he is effectively ignoring his Ni.
Lelouch, however, forces Rolo to confront his tertiary function, by promising him the purpose that he never knew he needed. When Lelouch “sacrifices” himself to save Rolo’s life, the boy doesn’t have a choice but to question where he belongs and whether he should start thinking for himself. We can actually see him panicking, because the simple life he was used to has essentially been exposed as a lie that is falling apart in front of his eyes, which leaves a permanent change in his personality.
But this kind of sudden burst of introspection soon backfires, as Rolo switches from underusing his Ni to overusing it (looping). Given that a tertiary function performs worse than, say, a dominant or auxiliary would, this kind of thinking leaves Rolo with a very simplified picture: his purpose in life now is being Lelouch’s little brother and he is willing to sacrifice anything to fulfil it, leading to several tragic mistake on his part (more about that below). Rolo’s transformation is a very good example of how easily ignoring your tertiary function can eventually result in looping and other kinds of unhealthy thinking.
Inferior Extroverted Feeling/Fe
Tumblr media
Having been raised by the Geass Order, Rolo never had a family, and hence any kind of social values or needs in him have been repressed very early on in order to effectively create a perfect killing machine. However, Rolo is still a human, and this kind of severe social deprivation has neither left his mind in good health, nor has it erased his actual need for any kind of social interaction.
Before his change we see that Rolo heavily avoids any actions that would lead him to cooperate with others, sacrificing the people he works with for the good of the mission without thinking twice about it. He rationalises these kinds of actions as being the most efficient and reliable way to complete a task, but in actuality this gives away a hidden insecurity - Rolo simply does not know how to deal with other people or even try to convince them of anything and the possibility of doing so elicits fear in him.
Because the inferior function is the one people have the least control over, having inferior Fe means that the user has low awareness and/or control over their social needs and that they may run into problems when dealing with societal norms and ethics (that’s not to say that Ti-doms are amoral, but a universal moral system can be difficult for them to deal with). Rolo checks all of these boxes, first convincing himself about not needing any kind of social aspect in his life and later, when he’s offered the opportunity to actually be part of a family, entering a Fe-grip and serving this new family unconditionally without understanding that his thinking is unhealthy for him. Even when he feels happy and is serving Lelouch, he’s constantly suspicious and afraid of losing his brother, which causes him to overreact on several occasions, causing the death of Shirley and almost killing Lelouch’s actual sister.
While he ends up dying with a smile on his face, Rolo was ultimately unhealthy for his entire life, following people who only looked to use him as a tool in their plans and never letting him grow as a person (both the Geass Order and Lelouch end up suffering for these decisions). In terms of MBTI his story is one that shows the importance of not neglecting one’s lower functions, as doing so will likely result in overindulging in them later.
However, please keep in mind that this is only my opinion on the matter and I will welcome any criticisms or alternative opinions to discuss them. If this article was interesting for you, stay prepared for next time, when I shall discuss the MBTI type of Kallen Kōzuki.

Doctor Who - “The Unquiet Dead” - S01E03
A Meta Post/Review
Revised 01 December 2019.
Summary
In Cardiff, an undertaker and his servant deal with the fact that their deceased clients keep coming back to life and even kill the living. The Doctor tries to show Rose the TARDIS’s backwards-in-time feature by taking her somewhere more tourist-friendly, but the TARDIS knows best and brings them into the center of the drama. The Doctor, Rose, and reluctant ally Charles Dickens try to help Gwyneth, the undertaker’s servant, make sense of the “sight” which she has possessed all her life and what it might have to do with the ghostly, gaseous creatures who have haunted the funeral parlor and the surrounding areas.

The Thesis Statement
Having shown Rose (and the audience) aliens and monsters and the possible future, the third episode of Doctor Who takes Rose to the past. The first three episodes of New Who are very clearly formulaic to a point that they might be viewed as something of a three-part pilot for a new audience. It is very clearly outlined in order to show the audience something of the breadth that the show can and will offer. There are aspects of the first two episodes that I personally find just a little bit difficult to watch now. They have obvious budget constraints, strange costume and effect choices at times, and several early installment hiccups that would be ironed out even by the end of Series 1.
If and when I am introducing New Who to a friend/new viewer, I always ask them to be ready to bear with me through Episode 5 and discount how silly and terrible aspects of Episodes 4 and 5′s villains are, too. However, I think that this episode is really one of the first that has aged pretty well in spite of any of its early installment difficulties. Now on to the episode itself.
Christmas in Cardiff
The cold open of this episode is more charming to me now than it was when I first watched it. Perhaps it is simply having more context for what a difficult place the United Kingdom was during the 19th Century. It is a place that seems riddled with ghost stories and scary tales in great part because of how difficult living was in the region when the Industrial Revolution had utterly changed the world, entrenching its own ills and advancements without any hope of going back.
One of my favorite things to do when I don’t feel like looking at a screen is to listen to podcasts, and I often favor true crime and mythology. I can’t tell you how often the two intersect in Victorian Britain, so I feel that this setting is a really good choice for Doctor Who to establish its time traveling element backward in time.
The opening scene with Mr. Sneed, a funeral parlor owner, comforting one of his clients upon the death of his grandmother is also something that is uniquely personal to me. Before becoming a teacher, I worked at a cemetery for a while. Anyway, one of the things that stands out to me as possibly unique is how obvious they make it that the reanimated Mrs. Redpath snapped her grandson’s neck. For some reason, this seems much more realistically deadly than some of the deaths that have followed in the show even though the series has a consistently high body count.
While I tend to balk at the idea that Doctor Who in its current incarnation has ever been a children’s program primarily, I appreciate the fact that upon Gwyneth’s introduction the different social norms - the class difference between her and her employer and the way in which he patronizes her in a sexist way in particular - are made clear in a way that seems like it would be easily accessible to younger audience members without a sophisticated understanding of the history of any of those things. It is unsettling without being cartoonish and absurd beyond what it should be.
The special effects in this episode with the Gelth and reanimated corpses themselves may not in any way compare to what Doctor Who has been able to accomplish and expect since, but I think what those visuals lack the set and set pieces and audio make up for. I find the old woman’s scream layered in with the childish cry of the Gelth voice inside her absolutely unnerving.
Again I would muse that Doctor Who isn’t something that I really expect many small children to be interested in on their own except for moments at a time. However as a family program I think that it often has pretty sophisticated storytelling that holds up to deeper analysis. Later in the episode, a person who is viewing the story in a wholly moment-by-moment way may easily sympathize with the Gelth and wonder if the Doctor’s curious, guilt-ridden compassion for them is correct. However, if one simply pays attention to the opening scene before the Doctor and Rose ever arrive (with the TARDIS tugging them in the direction they should go, after all), one can see that there is nothing benevolent, lost, or curious about the entity reanimating Mrs. Redpath’s corpse.
While she goes through the motions that Mrs. Redpath had intended to take before her death - attending the Dickens performance - it would seem that this is either simply a faulty connection between the Gelth and its human vehicle or something of a test run with the Gelth interfacing with the human brain it now controls like a user interface. What is most haunting about this whole thing is that there isn’t any sense that this woman is getting to fulfill a wish in any meaningful way from beyond the grave. Rather, something has coopted her unfulfilled plans after having mercilessly murdered her grandson. There isn’t any symbiosis between anything that remains of Mrs. Redpath in her body after her soul has gone. This is something that a keen viewer (or simply one who has seen it far too many times like myself) might pick up on, but it shows that there are layers to the narrative that are accessible to any age or caliber of viewer with reason.
The Greater Good
As an aside, since I imagine if you’re reading this post you are familiar with or curious about the episode, I want to give a little layman’s refresher on what “bodysnatching” is, given that Mr. Sneed tells Gwyneth that his is what they are about to do. Stripped down, this episode is literally about the ethics and morality of bodysnatching in a modernized and scifi-ized context. I recently heard a refresher in a podcast (Lore if you’re wondering), so I’ll pass it on to you: Bodysnatching was a practice that took place during the early days of medical research and large-scale medical schools. The term “operating theater” is sometimes used into the present day, but if there is an observation room it tends to be sealed behind a window in order to keep the operating room sterile. However, in an age before sterilization was fully understood or practical to do, one way in which medical students would learn about surgery and, more often, the inner workings of the human body would be to watch a more experienced physician perform surgeries or dissections of corpses in a room that literally looked like an amphitheater with a small stage.
One has to remember that prior to imaging technology that we have today, the only way to understand what was going on inside the body was to literally see the inside of a body. Therefore, corpses were in high demand in the training of young medical students. However, laws concerning the remains of law-abiding, typically Christian citizens after death prevented teaching doctors from getting access to the number of corpses they needed. This is where bodysnatching came in.
Bodysnatchers were not necessarily conventional grave robbers. In fact, some would even return clothes and the material riches buried with the deceased to the coffin in order to avoid prosecution as best they could. Their profit was made primarily or entirely through the shady deals that hospitals and medical schools made with them out of desperation, as the only legally available bodies were those who were the unclaimed who had died in workhouses and the bodies of executed murderers. Eventually, some alterations to the law which allowed for the donation of bodies made the need for this practice disappear, but there was a time when medical doctors had to make the choice between what they viewed as the most productive and helpful of two evils.
I think that the clear connection between that and the plot of this episode is as plain as day upon informed viewing.
Except for you.
Before the Doctor and Rose become aware of what is happening outside the TARDIS, we witness a bonding moment between the two of them. Rose is still wearing the same clothes from when she ran away with the Doctor, and one gets the impression that they have been having some issues with the TARDIS since they got back inside after getting chips at the end of the last episode. They haven't gone anywhere else. The Doctor is trying to wrangle the TARDIS into cooperating with backwards time-travel, but for some reason, she is not cooperating as well as she did with going into the future. One might assume that perhaps it is because she knows where they need to go even if they don’t yet.
The Doctor intends to take Rose to Naples, Christmas Eve, 1860. At first, he believes that he has succeeded. The Doctor is clearly in impress-Rose-and-convince-her-to-stay mode, full tilt. She has forestalled any decision about going home, and so he is allowing himself to hope that she will stay.
We have not yet had any complex analysis of why he wants this, but we do know that Nine tried traveling on his own and came back for Rose in particular. While I am not an Old Who expert by any means, we all know that he has had a history of traveling with companions. Generally, the Doctor in New Who is reluctant to take on new companions, but he has a moment which proves him wrong about a particular person. In the case of Nine, though, we don't so much have a moment as a process with his wanting Rose to stay with him, longer and longer each time.
For her part, Rose shows that she has the time travel bug badly when she responds to the idea of visiting a Christmas that has passed long ago. She holds reverence for the fact that something comes and goes and is over forever for everyone except the Doctor. She wants to be a part of this life, no matter what it might cost her, in this moment. After this and her commentary about learning about the expansion of the sun on television in the previous episode, it is once again clear that for whatever she lacks in certification and credentials, Rose is a brilliant person with a thirst for knowledge. She wants to see living history. She wants to experience the world around her.
In Doctor Who Confidential, I recall RTD mentioning that the Doctor and Rose were written to be soulmates of a sort from the beginning, and I think that this more than anything is what he probably meant. It isn’t just about personality quirks, but it is about that itch that Rose has to run away from her ordinary, expected lifestyle to touch the pulse of history unfolding and mattering around her that makes her “like the Doctor” and a match for him in that regard.
Healthy Skepticism
When the Doctor and Rose go for a walk in Cardiff and hear the screams coming from Charles Dickens’s performance as the reanimated Mrs. Redpath makes herself known, the Doctor and Rose go about investigating the problem in distinct ways. The Doctor does have a concern for the safety of others, but he goes directly to the highest vantage point and tries to identify the source and to ask the person who appears to have the most authority. Meanwhile, Rose notices the old woman and the undertaker and his servant and goes after them. She is concerned about the welfare of someone she has picked out of the crowd as needing help. Both of these are important roles, but the fact that Rose does this when she is traveling with the Doctor points out again how he needs someone like her to live up to his calling and reputation.
I had never really considered how both of Rose’s first outings involve her getting trapped in a room in some way. I can’t decide if this is an homage to the old show, a cautionary tale, or simply meant to show that there is a learning curve for traveling with the Doctor. It seems a bit odd that it happens in two episodes in a row, but when Rose awakens in the funeral parlor with Mr. Redpath coming back to life as well, she goes back to her customary cautious skepticism. She tries to go for the most ordinary, rational conclusion first, but she much more quickly accepts that she is dealing with zombies than she did with the shop window dummies in the first episode.
I cannot attest to how well Charles Dickens is portrayed in this episode as I don’t know as much about him as some other historical events and figures. However, I must say that the depiction is sympathetic and interesting. I really enjoy his presence in the episode, and the Doctor’s fawning over him is a cute bit of characterization that shows the Doctor’s ability to compartmentalize even when he does care about the present danger.
It is also nice to have a historical figure so known for pointing out social ills and being a skeptic of spiritualist frauds in a story that points out something that seems like it points to something of that nature going on. I appreciate that the story acknowledges the more rational sides of what could be even when it is presenting something that is more fantastical.
The debates that take place in this episode between the Doctor and Dickens and the Doctor and Rose, on a meta-level, primarily have to do with establishing a balance between skepticism and belief and between standard morality and the willingness to push those boundaries. Each person in either argument can be seen to have a point, and one of the things I admire the most about Doctor Who is the way in which it allows people of all different backgrounds to carry some of their own presuppositions and worldviews with them while challenging others. While the series itself tends to err on the side of science and rationality and in not allowing faith or religious belief to be an “opiate” that allows people to ignore present dangers and concerns, it does not take on such a cynical point of view that the most cynical and skeptical person in the room is always right.
In this case, the Doctor seems very resistant to the idea of an afterlife as Gwyneth perceives it, even though he has no problem with the fact that the Gelth need corporeal bodies in spite of existing outside them. While he knows that there are multiple universes and dimensions, he is dismissive of the idea that Gwyneth’s parents sent these “angels” to look after her. And this gives way to the Doctor cynically using what he believes to be Gwyneth's (primitive?) beliefs to further an agena. While he can be a tolerant and open-minded person, in this case Nine isn't having any of that.
The Doctor uses Gwyneth’s beliefs to manipulate her. He conveniently ignores those aspects of the narrative she presents about the Gelth and her understanding of them that he knows are objectively false but which further his purpose of giving these “pitiable” creatures the opportunity to live.
To be fair, one of the reasons he is so insistent about doing this is because they inform the Doctor that they lost their corporeal forms during the Time War. He feels personally responsible for what they have lost. He sees a resource in the empty human bodies of the dead, and he comes to a compromise in his mind. He plans to allow them to go through with their plan of using the reanimated dead and then to take them to a place where such an advanced race might be able to build new and proper bodies for themselves. Therefore, he allows Gwyneth to believe that she is helping “angels” that her parents sent from the afterlife to comfort her.
The Gelth themselves also use emotional manipulation in order to convince the Doctor and Gwyneth that they are pitiable creatures. They utilize children’s voices and a visage that looks very much like the shape of a human child when they manifest into a gaseous form. This comes in spite of the fact that we have already seen that they will kill before they will verbally communicate with humans. They have ingratiated themselves with Gwyneth and have comforted her. They have learned about her life and needs because they need her in order to establish a physical link within the rift that has opened up between their part of the universe and Cardiff. In spite of the fact that longterm exposure to the spacetime rift has allowed Gwyneth to develop an apparently-supernatural insight into the minds of others around her, among other things, she has had no ability to discern the true, more violent intentions of the Gelth.
Rose takes a different angle, but she is equally as skeptical about Gwyneth’s qualifications to make her own decisions about this circumstance. Rather than allowing Gwyneth to “believe what she needs to” in order to get the job done, Rose wants to protect her from her naivete that is based on the cultural differences between a woman of Rose’s time and one of Gwyneth’s. While this point of view may be more immediately sympathetic to me, it is also making the point that not meeting a person where they are and acknowledging the insight they do have, in spite of any blindspots or ignorance, is also dangerous.
Last but not least, we have Dickens who is skeptical about the very existence of something other-worldly influencing the physical and real world he knows. This is in spite of a few references to the fact that he perhaps holds to some religious and/or metaphysical beliefs. He resists the rampant abuses of the spiritualism fad of the time while also allowing himself to be convinced through empirical evidence. Charles is the character in the story who gains the moth “faith” in something that he cannot understand or make sense of completely, and he comes out of it with a renewed sense of vigor in his person and life in spite of the fact that he is nearing its end.
Gaslighting (not really I'm just making a joke)
Now, back to the way the Doctor manipulated Gwyneth and its consequences. Because the Doctor missed every possible sign that the Gelth were up to no good in a much more deliberate, calculating way than the Nestene Consciousness was, the Gelth manage to begin pouring themselves through the portal Gwyneth has become for them. The Doctor and Rose have to lock themselves in a sort of cage? I don't know what that is for in a funeral parlor. Maybe it is a closet, but it has a weird, barred door. They are left alone, and if not for external help, the Doctor and Rose would have both been overtaken by the Gelth. Rose is again faced with the possibility of her imminent death, and again she says that she is glad she met the Doctor rather than allowing herself to dissolve into regret. She doesn't want to die, but she seems to be continually convincing herself that even dying like this is better than not having done it at all.
I lived and breathed Doctor/Rose from the first few weeks I was into Doctor Who. Ever since I felt like I had a footing in the canon, though, I have always found that fellow-shippers always seemed to view the Doctor and Rose's relationship through rose-colored glasses (pun intended or no). I think that one of the most interesting parts of it is how it experiences very heartfelt, sweet growth through frankly insane, impulsive actions. It isn't an especially normal love story by a long shot, and I don't really understand the compulsion to act like it is, but I digress.
Luckily, Dickens decides to come back after having run away in terror. He figures out that the creatures are made of gas and that they can essentially pull them out using the gas system in the funeral parlor. Planet, Doctor, and Rose saved again. Then, the Doctor is faced with figuring out how to clean up the mess he has made through listening to his survivor's guilt instead of common sense and assuming that he knew better about intergalactic politics than everyone else in the room - regardless of the context and stakes. He tries to insist that Gwyneth send the Gelth back, and when she does not immediately comply, he again calls upon her beliefs in a way that he clearly does not himself espouse. He tells her that if her parents could look down and see her that they would help her and want her to do it. He knows that she has realized that the Gelth have manipulated and lied to her, but he still goes about trying to manipulate her. Poor Gwyneth simply could not catch a break from anyone.
The Gelth pulled this trick on all of them when they simply remained silent to demands for promises of safety, to the Doctor’s plan for helping the “few” of them, and so on. This lack of good faith conversation is shown on “both sides” - when it is intended to shelter and protect someone and when it is deliberately malicious. In both cases, it still causes some harm.
When Dickens returns and the Doctor once again tries to manipulate Gwyneth in order to save her and to, by extension, save everyone, it is still clear that the Doctor isn’t the one who is in control. Rose tries to insist that she stay behind because she has come to care about Gwyneth, but the Doctor successfully pleads that both the humans go without him. He even uses the phrase “I won’t leave her while she’s still in danger,” which one might argue is yet another emotionally manipulative phrase, but I tend to think that it is a very raw, true statement about how the Doctor must view life and death in some of the circumstances he finds himself in.
More things in Heaven and Earth
The Doctor is shocked when he works out that Gwyneth has been physically dead the entire time she had been interfacing with the Gelth. They killed her, and yet she maintained control of her mind. While she was literally their bridge, she manages to hold them and push them out. I wonder how much of that ws intentional or a matter of narrative convenience. In any case, it shows that the Doctor is also wrong about the existence of a person’s intentionality and personhood “after death,” at least in this one particular case. When he rejoins Dickens and Rose outside and recounts this to them, Dickens is the one who reminds him to have an open mind even when the truth seems regressive or irrational, showing that he has learned his lesson. The Doctor needs to learn his own lessons too, sometimes.
While this isn’t a Christmas special as such, it also introduces the fact that there is a certain special, forgiving nature to the Christmas season even in this universe and regardless of why. I think that this episode is affirming regardless of where you fall on the spectrum of easy-faith or easy-skepticism. It shows that the best way to approach something is through honest searching. That is why Gwyneth is a tragic hero in this episode. No matter what anyone else around her was doing, she was approaching her attempts to understand from an authentic place. She listened without a lot of presuppositions, and that was her strength. In the end, it cost her her life but let her keep her soul.

Considerations for Watching with Parents or Kids (Depending on Your or Their Ages)
This episode is actually pretty family-friendly except that it includes a lot of death. Lots and lots of death and dealing with corpses. If you feel your parent or child can handle that, then you’re probably safe.

The existential case for ditching Alexa and other AI
by Brendan Canavan
Tumblr media
Robert Couse-Baker/Flickr, CC BY-SA
Alexa’s creepy laugh is far from the most worrying thing about her. This is despite the fact that Amazon’s digital assistant – which allows users to access the internet and control personal organisation tools simply by speaking to the device – has been reported to spontaneously chuckle to herself. We shouldn’t be too concerned about her going rogue and turning on us either – a Terminator-style takeover by artificial intelligence doesn’t seem imminent.
But Alexa does pose one immediate threat. Rather than worrying about AI becoming more human, we should fear ourselves becoming more artificial by outsourcing important actions and decisions to devices like her.
This idea hasn’t been discussed much. Research suggests that the public’s main concern about AI is instead it becoming super intelligent and developing a mind of its own. Various prominent science and technology experts, such as the late physicist Stephen Hawking and the entrepreneur Elon Musk, have warned of the potential risks of such a scenario.
Yet Amazon and Google’s devices are popular, and were on many Christmas wish lists in 2017. Apple’s ad for their new Homepod contender, directed by Spike Jonze, has been generating online chatter. AI is creeping ever further into our lives. Digital home assistants are just one part of this.
youtube
While the devices are intrusive – always listening in on our previously private spaces – many people find them worth it. They listen in so that they can learn on our behalf. They learn our routines and preferences and make recommendations for us.
As a result, these machines can simplify day-to-day tasks and make life that little bit more efficient. Expensive adverts illustrate how they can tell us the weather without looking out of the window and change the TV channel without reaching for the remote. They can also look up recipes, dim the lights, distract a bored child and so forth. Alexa and her ilk can even think for us. Whether you need knowledge, answers or memories – it can all be conjured up with a quick call and outsourced to the cloud.
Human inefficiency
But how are these devices affecting us? For starters, lots of physical and intellectual tasks are streamlined or done away with altogether. The idea is that this makes us more efficient.
And it seems to be working – AI can now monitor our workplace performance, our financial score and, just over the horizon, our social value – all in the name of improving productivity (one should ask, for whom?). It is also starting to look after our infants and elderly. It is selecting suitable romantic partners for us through apps. Perhaps the ideal partner might even be an artificial one.
But humans are not necessarily supposed to be efficient. We are messy, emotional, irrational creatures. Romantic interactions, for example, are often excruciating. But we push through in hope. Deciding what to do with the day is frequently impulsive, spur of the moment stuff. When throwing together whatever is left in the fridge, we sometimes come up with unexpectedly tasty new meals. Just being bored can similarly help us come up with cutting-edge ideas.
Tumblr media

This may not be efficient, but it shows that there is value in mistakes and embarrassing situations. The experiences that make up life are not always easy or enjoyable. They can be physically and mentally exhausting. But it is through these experiences that we connect with others and ourselves. So are we outsourcing the very things that ultimately make us human?
Philosophical verdict
Existential philosophy gives a handle on this situation. Existentialism is a school of thought that considers what it means to be human, to be oneself and to be happy. Its central argument is that the absurdity and lack of meaning in life can make us unhappy. However, we can create meaning by searching for our “authentic self”. Authenticity may be interpreted as an ideal state of fulfilment, in which people can pursue their own independent destiny and be true to themselves.
According to existentialism, the notion of responsibility is central to living genuinely. The existentialist author Jean-Paul Sartre believed that each of us is the lone author of our decisions. We are nothing more than what we make of ourselves – the totality of our actions.
youtube
It is tempting to give up the burden of responsibility. But in not taking responsibility for our actions we also give up our freedom. Our identity and independent destiny become subsumed to another. Not only do we give up responsibility for our actions, but we limit our experiences and relationships.
For existentialists, individual destiny is rooted in these. Experiences, such as travel, can shake us out of our routines and give us space for self-reflection. Meanwhile, it is through the eyes of others that we catch sight of ourselves. Our interactions with others ultimately help us to establish who we are.
Alexa lessens all of these. She takes responsibility for our decisions to some extent. She regulates our experiences. She manages our relationships. Just consider the fact that AI is already getting involved in hiring staff – this is a clear example of how we are outsourcing important human decisions.
Where we gain in efficiency, we lose in spontaneity, serendipity and connectedness. From an existentialist perspective, digital assistants are dehumanising. They imply derogation of responsibility, detachment from experiences and disconnect from ourselves.
Tumblr media
By allowing circular bits of plastic to take off the rough edges, we seem to be unwittingly making our lives that much more artificial. An existentially authentic individual shows bravery in facing up to difficult choices. Unplugging Alexa and looking up at the sky to check the forecast might be a good first one to take.

What is Folital ?
Ways To Treat Hair Loss With Folital
Folital is a 100% natural hair growth supplement made from a powerful blend of plant extracts and vitamins that forces hair follicles to produce healthier hair. The formula was created by Dr. Robert Cyrus, a haircare expert with over 20 years of medical experience working on drugs like Minoxidil, with the help of Dr. Philip, one of the most acknowledged doctors in the industry with more than 20 years of experience and an independent medical researcher.
The Folital formula is based on a breakthrough discovery by scientists that was published in the National Journal of Trichology in 2017 and supplemented by another study published in the National Library of Medicine, also in 2017. The supplement comes in the form of easy-to-swallow capsules that can be taken with a glass of water.
Folital is designed to work for all stages of hair loss, regardless of age or gender. It is considered effective as it targets the real root cause of hair loss and has worked for men and women who have been suffering from hair loss for more than 20 years. Each bottle of Folital will give you 30 servings of the non-GMO, diabetic-friendly supplement. It is also made in an FDA-approved laboratory in the U. S. using the latest technology and equipment to ensure the highest standards.
How Does The Folital Supplement Work?
Hair follicles are kept alive by small networks of blood vessels. This network is responsible for nourishing the hair cells by delivering nutrition and growth hormones. But as a result of pollution and bad food habits, the capillaries and bloodstream gets clogged with poisonous metal substances such as Thallium as shown by the 2017 study, which prevents hair cells from getting the nutrition they require. Once the nervous system is infested with this heavy metal poison, the brain triggers the survival mode and stops the hair from receiving vital nutrients which results in hair loss.
Folital works by flushing out Thallium and other metal toxins from the bloodstream and strengthening the immune system so that hair can fully regrow. The specific nutrients in the formula then nourish the body with enough essential vitamins and minerals to strengthen every hair follicle. Once the healing process is completed specific ingredients in the formula help the hair and scalp to adapt to stressors like everyday pollution and protect it from further recurrence of diseases. It also stimulates the growth of fuller, thicker, and healthier hair strands.

Ingredients Included in Folital Supplement
Psyllium Husk
Psyllium is the common name for several types of plants in the genus Plantago. It is known to lower blood cholesterol levels and blood glucose levels. In addition to these benefits, Psyllium Husk is also believed to help rejuvenate your hair and scalp.
Bentonite Clay
Bentonite is an absorbent swelling clay consisting of mostly montmorillonite and is formed from the weathering of volcanic ash in seawater. Bentonite clay acts like a molecular sponge that absorbs toxins and neutralizes bacteria and other impurities from the body and blood. It is also believed to help strengthen the immune system.
Flaxseed
Flax, also known as linseed, is a flowering plant cultivated as a food and fiber crop in the world’s temperate regions. Flaxseeds are an extremely powerful antioxidant that fights dangerous toxins in the blood and helps in brain cell rejuvenation. They contain substances called lignans which help decrease inflammation and even regulate blood sugar levels.
Biotin
Biotin, also called vitamin B7, vitamin B8, or vitamin H, is a water-soluble vitamin. It is one of the B complex vitamins that help the body to convert food into energy. It plays a vital role in our hair and skin health, which is why it is used to treat hair thinning and dry skin. It is also used to keep your liver and nervous system healthy.
These are just some of the star ingredients used in the Folital formula. Besides these, it also contains Vitamins B1, B2, B6, and a whole list of plant extracts. For more details, you can visit the official website.
How long will it take to see the result and how long would the results stay?
Being a supplement made of 100% natural ingredients, Folital would require at least 2 to 3 months to show drastic changes. In fact, doctors recommend that you use the supplement for at least 90 days. But you can trust there will be results as you are assured a 60-day, no questions asked, 100% money-back guarantee if it doesn’t.

Folital Supplement Side effects, Dosage & How to use it?
As far as my research can tell, the Folital supplement does not have any visible side effects. In fact, I couldn’t find any Folital supplement reviews that complained about side effects both on the internet and off. However, pregnant or breastfeeding women and people who suffer from other medical conditions may need to consult the doctor before taking the supplement.
Each bottle of the Folital supplement contains a full 30 days supply of 60 capsules. The ideal dosage would be to take 2 capsules with a glass of water daily. It is best to follow the dosage instructions given on the product label. Take special care not to exceed the recommended dosage.
For best results, it is recommended that the supplement should be consumed every single day without intermittent breaks at least for two to three months. Alternatively, you could also use the supplement as directed by your healthcare professional.
Is Folital Better Than Its Competitors?
If you’re smart, ( and if you’re reading this, you are smart ) you’ve been doing your diet pill homework and  you’ve probably figured out that just because a brand is really popular doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s good or even mediocre. It only means that the company that owns it has spent MILLIONS on celebrity endorsements and high-cost magazine & internet ads.
Ways To Treat Hair Loss With Folital
Is It Affordable & Available?
Yes. Compared to other working dietary supplements in the market, Folital is way cheaper in price but offers much better results. The supplement is available online.
