#also one of these stories is bound to have it so wang yi is dating someone for his role right? love rival or not....hmmm

yeah, it does seem that wang yi has some character settings he cant go against in addition to the main plot but it seems more like the character settings is *for* the plot. like in the 1st world wang yi had to change his major for college, while in this one, he is improving the base while acting arrogant so it works out. it seems as long as the plot *looks* like it is going right/can be fixed to go right like with the wig and his character logic is retained, he is fine. although i wouldnt say jumping on your bff is exactly "in character", bai mo was already screwing the plot up regardless so either way, wang yi will get punished i think (unless S0 has to actually be present for punishing? im still confused because S0 just fcks off to wherever sometimes)
if bai mo and wang yi can communicate without it counting as part of the story (like fl wasnt always around, and i dont recall if qin xian was supposed to be in this scene), they might get away with it? i mean, they went straight up bdsm in the last world *and* qin xian started working at that club too so wang yi pretending to be brainwashed by qin xian or drugged or whatever is needed (we still dont know much of the plot after the brainwashing of bai mo, since supposedly it only lasts for some of the party--does bai mo/og fl pretend to be brainwashed after that?) doesnt seem out of the question. as long as it gets the job done right? my bet is that because the system stuff has been brought up and the previous worlds are discussed, it'll be automatically censored for the readers or they'll just have to pretend to be having some kind of mass hallucination
youve got a point about qin xian being interested if he found out he loved wang yi in other worlds, but it feels like itd conflict considering wang yi had to act like a jerk to him every time. although id like it more for the comedy of qin xian thinking he would never fall in love with wang yi and then slowly realizing he actually is haha
as for what bai mo will use to save them....i think changing reality like that is somewhat too op, but i also dont think she could raise the red head guy from the dead (sorry i forgot his name) so it is still up in the air. time has clearly passed in wang yi's world so idk maybe the guy will get cremated before she can do that lol
really wonder how the story is going to continue from here considering Bai Mo's goal is obviously to get Wang Yi back. She and Qin Xian will probably clash right?
#mc#oh fuck your comment about drugging and offering someone to the pervy cep reminds me of payback#but yknow what would be really fucked? wang yi as a powerful ghost haunting a place#is forced to possess qin xian for the plot#and qin xian does NOT let go#what could be mroe intimate than literally sharing a body?#and since wang yi is already 'dead' in that case....would he be able to escape?#also one of these stories is bound to have it so wang yi is dating someone for his role right? love rival or not....hmmm#oh and itd be kinda ironic if one of the stories is the type where the fl gets with the 'villain' ml and the 'hero' is actually the antagon#-ist and wang yi ends up technically a good guy?#honestly i just want qin xian to be allowed to be openly evil-y#also i just realized all these novels are supposed to be 'girl novels' but if there was an ABO one like you#mentioned before then would it be possible for a male of the story?#about the thing b4 idk if wang yi likes the story worlds/where he n qin xian would even go if he stayed in the system#but i think he'd feel guilty enough to stay once everyone was saved in his world#hmm oh if that one hint at a slime wang yi meant he became a shapeshifter in one of the worlds#and he used it to try to escape qin xian by disguising himself#but then qin xian found him anyways cuz of the mind reading? mmmm

Im sorry to crash the party this late(?) but on your fate saga post 3 you mention a the untamed saga, just what happened?? >>
Although this is a JunZhe account, this post is focused on Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo for awhile. :)
//
Hello anon,
No you're not late :)
Before I get to it, have to admit that I've only witnessed this saga in bits and pieces so the information may not 100% depict the whole story/cause.
However, the general takeaway is that, Xiao Zhan (XZ) solo fans, Wang Yi Bo (WYB) solo fans and BoJunYiXiao (BJYX as short form, cpname) cpfans don't get along. The latter is seen as the lowest level. They are viewed as feeding on fantasies and unrealistic ideals because these 2 actors are definitely not together as a couple in real life. There is "no future". (Despite this, on weibo, BJYX is still on a competitive position with JunZhe in the cp chart till now, rotating between top 1 and 2 - tbh, I somewhat only understand that BJYX hardcore fans does the tedious fan chart votes or sth daily rather hardworkingly).
Today (10 August screenshot): No.1 - BJYX, No.2 - LLD. Bonus below, No.11 - JunZhe
Of course, internationally, we dont think being a cpfan is a problem. Sometimes we just like both actors interactions, doesnt matter if they are real or not, but in the Chinese (hardcore) solo fans fandom, to them it's somewhat on this kind of perspective:
1. These 2 are actors = bound to have competition with each other (brand endorsements, sales, roles, show appearances etc), therefore, in order to build their future career, many choose to side one of them rather than both (not sure of the rationale of siding one rather than both). So most cpfans end up diverting to become solo stans. It's a realistic, long-term kind of thing. Some just end up preferring one over another, and some as we all know exists - prefer one of them as their own ideal fantasy boyfriend (the chinese term is 梦女 meng nv - 'dreaming girl'). These are also apparent in Gong Jun and Zhang Zhe Han solo fans.
2. XZ's AO3 saga: In brief, basically this was an extremely huge issue in 2020 (referred to as "227" - the date of seriousness) and was blown up very badly because it innocently involved those who doesnt know XZ and WYB, to a bad end. AO3 is a famous fanfic site, even internationally, but because of a BJYX fanfic, a group of extremely toxic XZ fans blew it up to the point this site was banned in China. Frequent Chinese writers and readers used this site for all kinds of fanfics (drama, anime, general writing etc) had their works and account gone overnight, so this grew an immense emotionally intense hatred on onlookers/passerbys/unrelated to them AO3 users to XZ and his fans.
This technically had something to do with cpfans since the fic was written by one of them, so yea. Imagine the hatred Chinese AO3 users have on XZ. Even now, I still see people hating on him for it despite it being the toxic fans fault. And obviously that group of XZ extremely toxic fans ain't going to self-reflect but push the blame, and they emerged even more hardcore...This saga's magnitude is beyond how my words can express so feel free to look it up - 227. It was just a mega large hurricane.
So, if XZ and WYB are in the same frame/drama again, the media is going to go wild in their articles. Solo fans are going to create even bigger fanwars with each other and it's really damaging to XZ's reputation for onlookers and passer-bys. WYB as well.
//
In the novel and drama, WangXian is always a couple.
But in real life, the actors are only temporarily Wei Wu Xian, and Lan Zhan. The real them is Xiao Zhan, and Wang Yi Bo, of which BJYX is unlike JunZhe.
Note: If anyone has anything to add/amend please feel free to do so! As mentioned, I've only witnessed in bits and pieces but because the magnitude was so big, everyone more or less had an idea about it, just that what I mentioned may not be the full picture.
Bonus: Just last month - July 2021, BJYX toxic fans started a war with JunZhe/LLD (to know the scale, let's just say, it involved photoshopping on to funeral portraits). So this further grew hatred on both XZ and WYB as some of them were AO3 users/onlookers of the 227 incident. Both cpfandom became straight up enemies. 🤦♀️
To them XZ knew this 227 issue blew up but he had never made a public apology or addressed it at all [this is going to be another post if I were to state my stand on why - subjectively]. As a general fan of BJYX, was apparently suspected of being a spy and toxic fan of them, entering LLD to create war - simply by following BJYX. So they grew tight on security and because of that last month, was kicked out of 4 LLD groups (not entirely due to following BJYX but somewhat related). 🥲
Anyway, no matter what, BJYX, XZ and WYB is a sensitive topic on weibo. They go by initial references there: XZ, WYB and last month's war, XZ's toxic fan is referred as 🦐 (idk the reason).
BJYX saga is just a prevalent childish hardcore fan issue + non-fans but brainwash lurkers creating chaos and watching this all (they get paid well to do this). The good Chinese weibo fans are really nice but sometimes I feel it's some kind of underground love story for cpfans of both JunZhe and BJYX on weibo.
I believe XZ and WYB themselves are in good terms, just cut apart by their own fandom. No matter what, both actors are hard workers and are nice people, please continue to support them if you are a fan of them too ^-^
Hope you gain some generic insights :)

It’s Cheating!
You Are My Destiny is the kind of drama whereby you need to ignore the morals behind the actions of the protagonists or create excuses for their behavior in order to enjoy the story. Basically, the main character cheated on his girlfriend by having a one night stand with another woman he met on a cruise. The woman who slept with him also knows that he has a girlfriend. Granted that the girlfriend stood him up and they were both drunk when they did it. If you can accept this excuse, then well and good. You might go on to enjoy the story. But if not, the story that unfolds could make you hate the guy even more. In short, Xi Yi is not your typical romantic hero. His behavior in the first half of the drama would not endear him to many. In fact, some may even find him to be a jerk. He got Jia Xin pregnant, forced to marry her, and then kept quiet about the marriage and the fact that he is going to be a father from Anna for a few months. Again, the excuse is he is going to divorce Jia Xin anyway and that such news is better told face-to-face. But then, he also starts to fall for Jia Xin. At some point of the drama, it is as if Xi Yi doesn’t want to give up either woman! Plot Development (Spoilers Alert!) Personally, I’m not so judgmental about the morality of the main characters or the lack of it in the story. But as the plot develops and inches towards the last quarter of the drama, it begins to feel lacking in some ways. Xi Yi and Anna seem to be a couple again. But there is no explanation on what makes Xi Yi re-consider his relationship with Anna apart from her refusal to give up. Then, when he meets Jia Xin again, there is a sense of deja vu. He drops Anna in favor of Jia Xin whom he still loves. Xi Yi’s relationship with Anna is never fully explored as she is made to be the evil one for the main characters to appear good overall. Jia Xin’s brief fling with Dylan is also weird in terms of plot development. It feels to me as if they have to stretch the drama a bit longer by throwing in a fling that doesn’t seem to have any romantic notions to it. You wouldn’t even know that they are dating if you don’t follow their conversations closely. Add in Xi Yi’s online persona, Mr. W, and Jia Xin’s emotions seem like a mess to me since she is falling for a stranger she is messaging with while still feeling attached to Xi Yi. Then, she starts dating Dylan who pretends to be Mr. W when all along she has never had any romantic love for him. All these are happening within the last few episodes. Hence, I think they should have stuck to a simpler plot as the story moves towards its conclusion rather than making it more convoluted than it should. Adding in more things that fall flat doesn’t contribute anything to the storyline to me especially when it is approaching a happy ending. My Verdict If you are looking for a rom-com like Intense Love, You Are My Destiny doesn’t belong to that category. But neither is it so melodramatic like Here To Heart. There are some crying scenes but nothing that will weigh you down heavily. If you want fluff and sweetness as well as enjoy a more natural relationship progression, then you are better off watching Love Designer instead. For this You Are My Destiny review, I’m prepared to give it only a 3.5/10 rating. You can watch it for the Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie pairing as this couple have grown very comfortable with each other after working together in the Eternal Love series. Hence, their on-screen interactions are definitely easy on the eyes and they emit a natural couple vibe, more so than Xing Zhao Lin’s pairing with Bai Lu in Lucky’s First Love to me. You can check out some of their scenes in the above clip for a sampling of their chemistry. However, to enjoy You Are My Destiny, you really have to be able to get into the plot as I don’t think it will resonate easily with everybody. If you absolutely hate two-timing characters, my recommendation would be to drop it and watch something else! And if you are a Liang Jie fan, you can always check out Mr. Honesty which is a slightly better drama in
terms of relationship development to me. To be honest , I really regretted watching this drama
