Tagged by @iamstartraveller776 , and very excited. Here are Ten Movies, not ranked in order of love. Always depends on my mood, my patience, and my exhaustion levels 😆

1. Beauty and the Beast: honestly, probably where part of my affinity for fictional aggressive, dark-haired men came from.

2. Ever After - definitely a formative piece for my love of historical romances!

3. Phantom of the Opera - DEFINITELY where my love for fictional, aggressive, dark haired men comes from +musical genius #sexual awakening

4. Pride and Prejudice - another historical romance classic. Also, THAT HAND YOU KNOW THE ONE.

5. Emma (2020)- newer, lovely score, lovely actors, plus there is a scene where Mr. Knightly just LAYS ON THE FLOOR, longing for his love

6. The Two Towers- Helm’s Deep. That’s it. That’s the reason.

Bonus gif because it’s also part of sexual awakening… maybe collectively.

7. Wolfwalkers - I have loved all the movies from this studio, but this ONE lives rent free. It’s honestly why three of my fics have WOLVES in them, ngl. It’s so good.

8. Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe- my first fantasy love as a child. I also love the friendship between CS Lewis and Tolkien, just two besties getting drunk to talk theology and fantasy world building.

9. Les Miserables- Can’t go wrong with the musical or the movie… Hugh Jackman or Liam Neeson. A great example of the power of redemption. Also the MUSIC.

10. Immortal Beloved - lots of Beethoven and boobs. That’s pretty much the whole film.

so fun fact: my phone accidentally dropped from my locker yesterday breaking the screen completely, it has one tiny crack but the liquid crystals got busted, a repair will take either 3 to 7 days, depending if the express shipping is successful or not 😭😭

here the thing:

- i had to ask family to lend me an old fashioned alarm clock. i don’t think i have relied on one in almost 20 years!

- i now need to bring some mangas to read at work during my break, i have no news or anything else to read, nor music to listen to. yesterday i was literally bored to death just staring into the void once i was done eating

- no music on my commute unless i use some cds. which is some damage control but i like my music on shuffle!!! (before you get angry at me i listen to new albums in order but once i’m familiar with them they go in the shuffle bin)

- no music at home for the same reason! i either stick to cds or i need to make a huge effort to make a gigantic playlist with all the music on my phone (which is still a tiny fraction of what a normal person listens to but still). i suck doing chores while listening to music, now it’s extra hard mode if i can’t even listen to the music i want. no music i want when i draw or just chill in front of my laptop!! i’m suffering!!

- i never realized how much dependent i am on the small internet, having it on a small device means i can check it while on the bed or couch. now i need to drag my laptop everywhere and it’s more bothersome (needs to be plugged always, the old battery lasts no more than 20/30 minutes)

- i can’t document stellina being the cutest babie ever

- any kind of communication is cut off till i’m home in front of my laptop. and like i’m bound to be glued to it if i want to chat with anyone

#it's wild that i only got a smartphone with an internet connection only in july 2015 #it's barely 8 years and yet it shaped my life in ways i never noticed before #like how did i survive a 30 minutes break at work for 4 years without entertainment????#also music #i listen to such few bands i can fit them all on my phone but!!! i need to listen to everything on shuffle #i'm so dependent on listening to music this way this is so tragic #anyway please give me the atheist equivalent of praying my phone will be repaired on friday #i got double unlucky bc the repair guy says he gets parts on wednesday but yesterday being tuesday afternoon was too late #if this happened one day prior i would had to suffer only one day...#i couldn't retrieve my old phone bc even if i never threw it away i never recharged it so the battery died for good #p

Hope this doesn't sound weird but anyone who has auditory processing disorder could help me?

Like, after reading some stuff about it from articles, and looking at many people's personal accounts, i feel like i might have auditory processing disorder but I'm not sure so I want to ask a few things.

Can someone send some good resources on the topic.

Can you self diagnose with auditory processing disorder?

If not, what doctor do you go to, to get checked?

And if there were exams, how were they like?

#auditory processing disorder #like im asking cause i will see a new pyschiatrist next month #so maybe ill bring it up?#but idk #actually autistic #actually ADHD #cause like sometimes i do think that maybe i have it #cause many times someone will be taling to me directly and im like i dont understand a word #or when someone randomly starts talking to me i have to keep asking them what they said cause i just didn't understand the first time #when i watch dubbed movies i have to put subtitles on #or else i just don't get like most of the movie #also music #if i'm listening to music for the first time #most times i do not pick up the lyrics #by only hearing it #i might pick a word or two #but if i need to know the full lyrics #google it will be #and usually when people send audio messages i also struggle to understand them #and have to listen to it many times #if i'm paying close attention i do seem to understand things better #but if im focused somewhere it's like all the words become a jumbled mess #and i'll only understand a word or two #and i just wanted to know if these are valid concerns for me to think i might have this disorder #and because it is associated with autism ans ADHD #and i'm also both of those #it would make sense
