Now THAT is how you resolve the tension. Sometimes the slow burn is really a slow fuse and at the end you get a very hungry, very horny explosion. Thank you, YinWar.

♡ Gi Seop x Jin Woo Under the Bed Kiss (Boys Be Brave!)

There's just something about this scene that really made it stick with me. It means everything to me that Jin Woo was the one to kiss first after he spent so much time and energy trying to run away from his feelings. I always love when I can see the exact moment someone gives in.

♡ Yuan x Qian Morning After Kisses (Unknown)

Quite possibly one of my favorite morning after scenes ever. Tender and sleepy and soft and filled with the relief of finally having something you've wanted your entire life but never believed you could have.

♡ Korn x Tonkla Reunion Kiss (4 Minutes)

Did I spend the entire show wanting Tonkla to kill Korn? Absolutely, and I still wish he had but you know what? Tonkla wanted Korn and I want Tonkla to get everything he wants in this life. Also it was just a really damn good kiss.

♡ Vivi x Mook Couch Kiss (Love Sea)

Vivi could neither communicate her feelings effectively nor follow her own excellent advice but what she could do was kiss the breath out of Mook and do it very well.

♡ Haruki x Jin Playground Kiss (Our Youth)

It's not just that this is the first time we could see Jin actively kiss Haruki back, and with the blinding light of love illuminating them no less. It's also that Jin finally allowed himself to voice his genuine desires and be selfish and allowed himself to give in to the moment.

♡ Moo x Kang Boyfriend Proposal Kiss (Only Boo!)

MY ADORABLE BOYS ARE FINALLY BOYFRIENDS FOR GOOD!They're living their dreams, they're in love, and they're letting the whole world know it, together.

♡ Anin x Pin "It's Still Noon" Kiss (The Loyal Pin)

After so many years of yearning, there was not a force on this earth that could've stopped Anin from making time with her girl at every opportunity. Who cares if it's noon, they're in their house and food shouldn't be the only thing that gets eaten in that dining room.

♡ Kyousuke x Isumi Confession Cheek Kiss (Sugar Dog Life)

Listen. Sometimes, when you are in love with someone who is very sweet and oblivious, a simple confession isn't enough. You need to hit them over the head with your feelings, or kiss them as the case may be, to help them along and realize their own.

♡ Yak x Dee Over the Shoulder Kiss (Wandee Goodday)

It's just such a pretty kiss. They both are, but that cheek kiss hits especially good with that blissed out look on Dee's face. My love of blinding light of love kisses might have some serious competition from pink light kisses.

♡ Jane x Ryan Tippy Toes Kiss (The Trainee)

Their first kiss, which took place just moments before, was perfectly lovely. I enjoyed it a lot. BUT THIS SECOND KISS? THIS LITTLE PECK WHICH RYAN ASKED FOR BY SIMPLY STANDING UP ON HIS TIPPY TOES? SUBLIME. PEAK ROMANCE.

♡ Meiji x Freya Lipstick Kiss (Deep Night: The Two of Us)

The correct way to apply lipstick. The only way to apply lipstick actually.

♡ Do Hoe x Ju Yeong Snack Time Cheek Kisses (Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo)

This? This was what we deserved. We deserved the achingly sweet domesticity of Ju Yeong bringing Do Hoe snacks while he studied and kissing his cheek every time. We deserved to see them in matching fuzzy teddy bear couple pajamas.

♡ Phee x Non Pink Kiss (Dead Friend Forever)

I was thrilled for this kiss by mere virtue of finally getting to see Ta and Barcode kiss, but the expression on Non's face? The pink lighting? Phenomenal.

We really could've had it all. Rolling in the deep. 🥲

♡ Takashi x Hiro Claiming Kiss (Love is Better the Second Time Around)

A hickey may be the result, but every hickey begins life as a kiss. And this kiss was a symbol of Hiro's desire to feel like Takashi was really his, to not feel like an outsider in Takashi's life, and to be someone Takashi could share everything with.

♡ Huaien x Xiaobao Blinding Light of Love Kiss (Meet You at the Blossom)

Sometimes a good kiss is more than just a good kiss, which this was. Sometimes it's about what the kiss means to the people watching it. Sometimes it's about the fact that it exists and that people get to watch it at all.

♡ San x Vee Forehead Kiss (Century of Love)

This kiss was such a gentle, loving reassurance that Vee would take the lead and take care of San during their first time being intimate together.

♡ Myung Ha x Yeo Woon First Kiss (Love for Love's Sake)

So incredibly visually pleasing and also: "You're my first everything". My heart. My entire heart and soul. Has anything ever been as earnest as those words and this kiss?

♡ Ming x Joe Face Sniff Kisses (My Stand-In)

This is exactly the sort of tenderness Joe always deserved from the man he loved. Even though it took a thousand agonizing years for Ming to get his shit together and give it to him, better late than never. Plus, I always love when we get sniff kisses.

♡ Sun x Junior First Kiss (Caged Again)

What an absolutely perfect, absolutely lovely first kiss between two absolutely darling boys who are figuring out what it means to be in love with each other. I adored it.

♡ Yuan x Qian Dinner Date Kiss (Unknown)

It's the wine splashing that really makes this for me. Yuan waited years for this date and for the opportunity to yank the man he loved across a dinner table to kiss him. And I just love how he looks down at Qian's hand before he does it.

♡ Do Hoe x Ju Yeong Christmas Present Kiss (Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo)

It's Christmas and Do Hoe is smiling and kissing his boyfriend and everything is peaceful and romantic and horny and good.

♡ Jack x Joke We're About to Fucking Die Kiss (Jack & Joker)

There's a bomb around Joke's neck and bitch ass Alice is out here being Jigsaw, but damn if that's gonna keep Jack from staying by his boyfriend's side. If they're going down, they're going down together, making out in front of god and everyone.

♡ Anin x Pin Party Kiss (The Loyal Pin)

This kiss from the trailer was the one I was most excited to see and it didn't disappoint. It's pretty! It's horny! Anin is wine tipsy! Pin is jealous because other women were hitting on her girl all night! Perfection.

♡ Shan x Ob-aun Blindfold Kiss (Battle of the Writers)

Tutor and Yim kiss so pretty and this show spent its entire runtime reminding us of that fact. I could've chosen any of their kisses, which is true of many pairings on this list, but this one is particularly pretty. And you can see Yim's shoulder moles, which is a fun little treat just for me.

You managed to keep down some saltine crackers and a bowl of chicken broth Sam had prepared for you for lunch, though it was difficult not to gag, what with all the sass he was giving you about the headlines. You were feeling a little less tired, now that you had some nourishment in your system, but you still found yourself lying in bed, listlessly checking your phone over and over again for a new message or call from Bucky that never came.

Lisa Galvin had been true to her word, at least; you began receiving Google Alerts linking to your statement. Of course, they weren’t getting as much traffic as the original articles had, but you were relieved to know that the truth of the matter was finally out there, and you could breathe easier for it.

You sent a link to your statement to Bucky, hoping that would entice him to answer you, but were only met with continued silence. You were becoming increasingly agitated by his lack of communication. Yes, you were worried about his safety, but as much as you were loath to admit it, Carthage was with him, and two super soldiers working together was a challenge even the more elite terrorist organizations would have difficulty taking on.

But then again, he was with Carthage. What if he had seen the headlines and believed them? What if he— no. You weren’t going to let yourself go down that path. He had been so dedicated over the last two months, working to prove he was worthy of your trust, cutting her out completely. He wouldn’t – couldn’t– betray you like that. He knew it would destroy you, destroy any chance the two of you had to make your relationship work. You had to trust him. That was the entire point of your separation. Rebuilding trust, and you had to believe in him.

You had to.

With a sigh, you put your phone back on its charger, battery already well depleted from all the web browsing and non-Bucky texting you’d done so far today. Maybe you would take a nap. While you were feeling a little better, you didn’t want to risk a repeat of last night, where you couldn’t even stand on your own without assistance, so you figured a little extra rest would do you some good. Besides, maybe you’d wake up and Bucky would have contacted you, and you could finally stop fretting over the entire thing.

Yes, a nap sounded excellent right now.

You woke up, a few hours later with a start. You’d had a nightmare. You couldn’t remember exactly what it was about, just that it had been about Bucky, and it left your heart aching. Rubbing your eyes and trying to shake the feeling of pain from your heart, you checked your phone again. Still nothing, but it was quickly approaching the designated time for him to call you– his “proof of life” communication that had become a standard, every day tradition when one of you was away. Surely, he’d contact you soon. So, you waited.

And waited. And waited. Then you waited some more.

Two and a half hours after the predetermined call time, you’d had enough. You could feel your stomach practically eating itself alive with anxiety, on top of the nausea you were already experiencing, and there was only one person who had the answers you were looking for.

How to tumblr for artists… my own version

A collection of things that have been working for me, but may not work for everyone

~~~ your posts ~~~

!!!reblog your own stuff!!! you need to reblog your own stuff, there is nothing morally wrong with reblogging your own stuff regularly. in fact, it is morally right to allow the chance for more people to see your artwork.

~~~ queue it!! ~~~ my queue is 500 posts strong. maybe don't try to make your queue hundreds of posts strong in the same day omg but like… once every month or two i'll go through my whole blog and just scroll and "add to drafts" to every one of my own posts i have. then i'll use the "mass post editor" to add content warning tags. and add to queue, and shuffle. and then I write down what the date was for when I last added my posts to be reblogged on queue. this is helped by turning on timestamps for posts in tumblr "dashboard preferences" settings.

queueing is necessary and life saving for me. It takes out so much work with decision fatigue and the anxiety around posting. It also guarantees that even if I suddenly need time off or away from my phone, I don't just disappear and lose all traction. It also breaks the instant-gratification cycle that you expect when you finish an artwork. It's hard to keep creating when you post something and, when you're expecting to get that gratification, you get none... If you queue your new artwork to come out at a later time, you've separated that expectation - with time. It hurts less and contributes to a more consistent gratification thing instead of peaks and troughs.

~~~ tag ya stuff ~~~ when you're making a new post, the first 20 tags are what gets put into the searchable tags. do not feel shame for using lots of tags. shame is the mind-killer. tags are hard. hard to know what to tag a post with. hard to remember the tags. so I found some ways to help myself. maybe they'll help you too. dedicate some time towards just figuring out what tags you want to use. i have a list in my phone notes that i add tags to and reference whenever i'm making a new post. i have the phone right beside the laptop while i'm tagging so that i can just look at it and scroll. tags are the only way for people to find your artwork, other than people manually coming to your blog because they saw you somewhere. there is no algorithm. posting without tags, until you have an established fanbase, is throwing something into the void.

When I'm doing tag research, I look at what people seem to use - when you put something in the search bar, tumblr recommends you some that have a higher following, typically. Looks like this on desktop:

if you like one tag, look at what other people who use that tag also tag their posts with. Observe and learn how this tag is used. search through a bunch of them and write them down.

here's what i got in my notes, for the specific kind of art I post and look for:

these tags are sort of specific to me and the kind of art I make. You'll want to research your own tags, but this is an example of how I keep them organized to make posting more effective. I generally only write down a tag when it's got more than 2k followers. You might be tempted to use the tags with millions of followers, but I've actually found those a lot less functional for small artists. If your stuff doesn't immediately get a bunch of notifications, you're drowned out and pushed to the bottom much faster. But the bigger tags are better than no tags, so I keep them if I can't think of anything else to tag something with.

~~~ post at the right times….? ~~~

fridays and saturdays is when I post fresh new things... usually. every website has it's own peak hours, and you can find those hours in many different online articles that try to sell you social media growth services. tumblr is unique in having later hours.

please don't over think this. please don't let this consume the idea of when to post, preventing you from posting at all. it doesn't mean too much - if you post during very active hours, maybe your art would just be pushed down the feed faster. if you post at the end of hours, maybe everyone's going to sleep… if you post at inactive hours, maybe there's less 'competition'… if you post at the beginning of active hours, maybe that's just more time for your post to circulate for the day, if you have enough people reblogging it once it drops....

this also is in EST. So fuck the other time zones, I guess. I'm over here in europe knowing that the "best" time to post would be like 2-3am or something. It's like this for most english-speaking majority sites - higher traffic in north american time zones.

it's also worth mentioning that this is scattered as heck, compared to other social media sites. and it's not like, the activity times of your followers. it's not the best time to post for your niche. this is just tumblr, broadly. all of tumblr.

~~~ Plan ahead for annual dates ~~~

Your artwork will get more circulation if it's posted on a celebratory day. You could just put them on your calendar and if you're wondering what to make, look on the calendar for what's coming soon. For example, asexual awareness day, trans day of visibility, location-specific holidays, etc. Here's my phone notes thing with my own recorded annuals:

I got these dates from googling and reading different articles, but I find that I still miss dates, and then I add them for next year. If you know of some I missed, tell me and I'll add them please <3

~~~ reblog other people's stuff ~~~

tumblr is sorta about ecosystems. things get passed around within groups of people that are all following eachother. to enter this ecosystem, you must engage and reblog other people's stuff too.

if you reblog other artists' stuff, sometimes they'll come over and reblog your stuff too. sometimes they'll follow you back. this is called becoming a mutual. I'll search specific tags for the kinds of people I want to follow and the kind of art I like - those are listed in the screenshot of my tag note under "Tags for finding new people".

I see a lot of blogs out there that are very clean, posts are tagless, and are only for the artists' content. like scrolling through a portfolio. I imagine this is good for people who are migrating to tumblr but already have their own established fanbase from elsewhere.

you don't need to do reblog other people's stuff on your art blog, you can do this on a separate blog. but if the two don't look very closely correlated, it's hard to tell who you are when you're interacting. and hard to make sure people know that you are the same person as your art blog. and you gotta remember to promote yourself on your personal blog.

~~~ have an art tag ~~~

make your blog easy to search!

if i go to your blog, and you've written 'artist' or 'sometimes art' in your bio, i wanna see it… it make me so sad when i don't get to see it. i want to reblog it. please let me reblog it :(

to make a tag on your own blog searchable, you don't need to repost it to add a tag. you don't even need to reblog it. you can actually just go back to the original post and edit it to add your tag. I've seen post people just have their art tag be something like #(blogname)art . you can see my own in my tags image above. if it's very unique, then it'll work tumblr-wide. I think that's good, since the tumblr search function is really weird. Otherwise it should still work if it's not entirely unique, people just have to make sure they're searching specifically your blog to see only your stuff.

I like to have a link in my pinned post where people can click to have immediately searched for my art tag. Convenience is king. Keep in mind that most people are on mobile, and if something isn't immediately clickable, they often won't find it.

~~~ be consistent and be patient ~~~

!!!this time will pass anyway!!! how many notes you have is not correlated with how good you are as an artist. wanting to earn something from your art means you essentially have two jobs. two potentially full time jobs. this shit's difficult. most of the job is promoting yourself. don't undersell how hard it is to do… don't feel bad for not immediately succeeding. I would write about how hard it's been to promote myself, but it would just be long and sad I think.

This isn't a full guide, please feel free to add more!!

I'm sure in another year I'll disagree with a lot of this, it will become irrelevant with time, and I'll have a lot of different opinions. Chip in and share what you've been doing? Teach me? This is very overwhelming. Don't do it all at once, just like, try one thing at a time, and see how it works for you. Your niche might be different. One size does not fit all. You were staying over at the Demon Lord's Castle for the weekend

It was partly meant to be a vacation from the seven brothers, but also because you really wanted to spend some time with the Demon Lord himself.

You found yourself tossing and turning as you lay in the guest room bed.

It was the comfiest bed you've ever laid in, but somehow you still couldn't fall asleep.

You were restless. A sick feeling in the pit of your stomach.

Was it...homesickness?

You sighed, tossing the covers off of your body, deciding you needed some air.

You find yourself in the gazebo in Diavolo's garden

You breathe in the cool, night air. The light floral scent from the garden relaxes you slightly.

The moon is bright and full, complimented by the starry night sky.

You feel a lump in your throat as you gaze up at the beauty of the meteor shower that is taking place miles above you.

Suddenly, you are crying.

The feeling of homesickness washes over you, and the tears roll down your cheeks.

"MC?" you hear a voice behind you.

Trying to wipe away your tears with your sleeve, you spin around to see Diavolo.

"Dia..?" you squeak.

He gives you a gentle smile as he steps up to join you in the gazebo.

"Hello my darling. What troubles you this late at night?"

You shake your head, spinning back around to rest your arms on the railing.

"I think I might be missing home." you sniff.

Diavolo hums, taking a step closer to you.

You feel big arms wrap around you and you sink into his embrace.

"I understand. Shall I take you back to the House of Lamentation?" he asks softly, nuzzling his face into your hair.

You shake your head, turning around so your face is now buried in his chest.

"No. You being here is helping a lot, Diavolo."

He smiles, rubbing small circles on your back.

"Shall we return to bed then, my love? I will call Barbatos for some tea."

You smile, wiping away the last of your tears for the night. "Yes please."

That's all he needed to hear as he gently lifts you into his arms, carrying you bridal style back to the warmth of the castle.

"Let's get comfortable. I'll make sure you feel right at home in no time."

You don't remember when, but you must have fallen asleep at some point.

Your eyes blink awake rapidly, trying to adjust to the low light of the candle burning bright in the corner of the room.

Taking in your surroundings, you begin to remember where you are.

You came over to Diavolo's Castle after RAD to have tea with Barbatos... and to work on some homework.

You were exhausted to begin with, and the warmth of the tea had you yawning almost instantly.

Apparently, you had fallen asleep on the couch in the tea room.

The castle was silent, and you figured it was probably pretty late.

You glance at your phone, seeing that the time was 2:30 am.

Upon checking the time, you also notice a text from someone who you don't particularly feel like talking to.

Turning your phone over, you bring your knees to your chest.

Your eyes now start to burn with tears.

You start to tremble as sadness and guilt plagues you.

The tears can't seem to stop after they've already started.

You jump slightly as you feel gentle hands on your shoulders.

Lifting your head, you find Barbatos standing behind you, draping a blanket over your shoulders.

"Hello, MC. Pardon my intrusion, but I heard you stirring awake and figured I would check in on you."

You sniff, attempting to hide your face in the blanket he had just given you. "I-It's okay..." you accidentally stutter, grimacing as your voice gives you away.

"My, my. What is troubling you MC?"

His voice is soft and calm, but his concern for you is evident.

You begin to sob a little harder, once again burying your face into your knees. Through your tears, you explain the message you had gotten to the royal butler.

"It sounds like this individual causes a lot of unnecessary stress to you. Shall I kindly confiscate your phone for the remainder of the evening?"

Nodding, you pass your phone into his gloved hand. Tonight was not the night to give it the little energy you had left.

"That's much better. I'll keep this for now. Anyone who is causing the smile to disappear from your face isn't worth your time right now. There are other pressing matters to attend to." he smiles as he tucks your phone away into his jacket pocket.

You can't help but smile back at him. His jade green eyes seem to glow as he reaches a hand back out to you.

"Would you care to follow me to your room? I would be glad to tuck you in."

He pulls you up off of the couch, and you stumble against his chest.

He holds you for a moment, his hands resting on your waist.

You nuzzle your face into his neck as he holds you. He plants a soft kiss into your hair.

"Thank you, Barbatos." you whisper.

"Now, there's no reason to thank me. Let's just go get some sleep, it's way past your bedtime."

Simeon

What you thought was finally a peaceful night's sleep was interrupted by unpleasant dreams, startling you awake at the wee hours of the night

Your breathing is heavy and you try to calm yourself down.

Ever since you had that encounter with a rouge demon in town the other day, you've been on edge.

Especially since you are staying at Purgatory Hall instead of the House of Lamentation surrounded by the brothers, you're feeling a little uneasy.

Of course you know Simeon, Solomon and Luke would never allow harm to come to you.

But your nightmares say otherwise.

Your stomach is in knots with anxiety, and you decide you need to get some fresh air.

You throw on a cardigan, and tip toe down the hallway.

The balcony seems like the perfect place to calm your racing heart.

Once the cool air hits you, the adrenaline of the dream begins to wear off.

Your eyes begin to sting, and you aren't sure it's from the cold air.

Your mind begins to play images of the demon that attacked you, and your tears are now wet with tears.

You tremble, wrapping your cardigan tighter against you.

"MC?"

You hear a soft voice behind you and you spin around, fear in your eyes

"S-Simeon?" You breathe a sigh of relief.

"My little lamb, what are you doing out here at this hour?"

His cerulean blue eyes are filled with worry as he slowly approaches you.

You choke back tears as you find yourself running into his arms.

He gasps softly as you wrap your arms around his torso.

"There, there, MC. I'm here. Can you tell me what's wrong?"

You are still in tears as you explain the close call you had, and he holds you tighter.

"I'm so sorry, my love. I promise i'll always be here to protect you. You have no reason to be afraid when I'm around."

You sniffle, your sobs now turning into little giggles."Like my guardian angel?"

He chuckles softly as he plants a delicate kiss to your forehead.

"I would gladly be your guardian angel. I will be whatever you want me to be for you, MC."

Soon you begin to shiver, the night air's crisp bite getting to you.

"Shall we go sleep in my room for the night?" Simeon offers, taking your hand in his.

You nod, the anxiety in your tummy turning to butterflies.

Arguably, a much better feeling.

Solomon

It was another late night in the wrong timeline

You were seriously exhausted trying to corral the 7 brothers all over again.

You lay wide awake in your bed in Cocytus Hall. Despite how tired you are, you can't manage to fall asleep.

Your mind is racing with thoughts on how to get home.

Home.

Your heart aches, and you roll over.

Even though they are the same brothers you know and love, they are different.

They weren't supposed to know you yet... and you were starting to get discouraged with the whole 'getting home safely back to your own timeline' thing.

Your eyes squeeze shut as they begin to sting with fresh, hot tears.

The tears begin rolling down your cheeks, leaking down onto your pillow case.

Your breath shudders as you begin to hyperventilate.

You don't notice the creak of the door as it opens.

You also don't notice the bed shifting from the weight of another person sitting down next to you.

Suddenly, your torso is being gently lifted so you are now in an upright position.

Gentle hands rub your back and quiet murmurs of "Shhh.." and "It's alright, MC" soothe your state of panic.

You attempt to catch your breath as you glance over at your unexpected guest.

"S-Solomon...i-i'm sorry..."

His silver hair practically glows in the moonlight that shines through your bedroom window.

"It's alright, deep breaths, MC. Do you want to talk about what is troubling you?" he offers you a handkerchief and you take it with trembling hands.

He already knows, but you can't help but tell him how homesick you are.

How much you miss the brothers. But your version of the brothers.

He nods, expecting this. "You're trying very hard, MC. We both are. And we will get there, I promise you."

You throw yourself into his chest, wrapping your arms around him.

"I hope so, Sol. Please tell me that's a reality for us."

He hums, squeezing you tight. All he wants to do is protect you from the world.

"I know you'll make it a reality, MC. You continue to impress me everyday."

You begin to relax into him as he cradles you, gently rocking you in his lap.

After awhile you pull away, and he surprises you with a peck to the forehead.

You can't help but smile, gazing up at him with tired eyes.

"There. You look so much better with that cute smile on your face."

You scoff, rolling your eyes. "Don't sound like some creepy old man."

He chuckles, brushing your hair out of your face. "Well this old man is tired. Why don't we get some rest together, my dear MC?"

Luke

You startled awake, grasping at your bedsheets.

Your forehead is soaked with sweat, causing your hair to stick to your face.

You thought you were over the nightmares, but they still somehow manage to plague the peacefulness of your dreams.

Gasping for air, you hop out of bed.

You decide you need some water. And some air.

Remembering that you had stayed overnight at Purgatory Hall, you make your way in the direction of the kitchen.

Trying to stay quiet, you creak open the door of the kitchen, wincing at the high pitch squeal that elicits from it.

You grab some water, taking thirsty gulps as you try to calm down.

However, you can't help the tears that spill over your cheeks.

You sob softly, still trying to keep quiet. You weren't sure how late it was, but you knew everyone else would be asleep.

Or so you thought.

You hear the door creak open again, and you spin around quickly, tears still glistening on your cheeks.

"H-Hello? U-Um, who is in here? Is everything ok?"

You hear the tiny voice of Luke, his blonde head peeking through the door.

You give him a half-hearted smile as you attempt to wipe your tears away.

"H-Hi Luke, it's just me. Yeah i'm okay. You don't need to worry."

You hear a small sigh of relief as he steps into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

He glances up at you, more awake now that he notices your sniffles and red rimmed eyes.

"B-But... you were crying...are you sure you're okay?" he frowns, sadness filling his bright blue eyes.

You shake your head, sitting down at the kitchen table. "I just had a bad dream and I got really thirsty, so i needed some water."

Luke nods, coming over to sit down next to you.

"I get that. I have bad dreams too. The Devildom is a little scary sometimes, so i try my best to be brave during the daytime...but at night..." he glances around, shivering a little.

You chuckle, nodding in agreement. "I'm glad you understand. Sometimes it's a little scary to me, too."

Of course, you don't want to tell him about the night of the incident with Belphegor.

That's the true reason nightmares creep in at night. But you don't want to scare the little angel more.

"But you're so brave, MC. It makes me want to be a little stronger too."

You smile, reaching out to ruffle his blonde hair.

"Luke, you are already so brave. You came in here ready to fight off whatever intruder was lurking in kitchen!"

He giggles, grabbing your hand. "I will always keep you safe, MC!"

It's your turn to giggle now as you stand up to stretch, a yawn escaping in the process.

"Well what do you say we head back to our rooms before Simeon hears and comes and scolds us? Then you'll really have to protect us both."

The Rewatch Parties are every other Saturday, at two different times, so that as many people as possible can participate directly! The schedule for the current round of Rewatch Parties is:

Here on Tumblr, we will be using the tag "Blinky's Rewatch Party." You can use the tag to liveblog your rewatch, or wait until the story is over to post any and all thoughts at once. Trembling Essence [Extended Demo]:💙Quality of life changes + Q&A.💙

Hello and welcome new followers! To show my appreciation for all the support I've received again, here's one of the Valentines Day concept drawings finished! A big thank you to everyone that has continued supporting this through a like, re-blog, fanart, comment, tip jar, share, etc. :,]

I wasn't expecting it to take as long as it did but I'm very happy with the result and how much I've been improving! I'm not too good at drawing angled faces so being able to get it to look just right made me very happy! :,]

I still have this one to go so hopefully at some point I'll have it done!

Quality of life changes:

*Please note that these changes aren't in the [Extended Demo] yet! It'll be something for me to work on adding and I'll let it be known in a update post!

Now that it's been two weeks of the [Extended Demo] being released, It's time to go over some changes to help the player out when going through the game!

I noticed from comments and playthrough's that certain Bad endings/Neutral story progressions were difficult to find, especially the full afternoon route. I don't want players to feel burnt out from trying to search for everything.

I want to add a check-list menu that shows all the Bad/Neutral endings you can get while playing so it's easier to navigate the game.

2. For those that are new or have been here for some time, entering the cabin with Noah starts Day 3 due to the player(Y/N) being lost in the terrain for 2 and a half days which Noah mentions. Sometimes this can get confusing since some consider it Day 1 while the game considers it Day 3.

It's still up in the air about how I'm going to go on about this but I'm thinking about adding a little notification tab in the upper left corner of the game to notify the player(Y/N) of what day it is in the game to resolve confusion.

3. I talked about this last week but I didn't know until recently that the tags I use for Trembling Essence were very unorganized and hard to search through.

I went through and tried my best to re-organize all of the lore and art about Noah/game posts. I also cleaned up the #Trembling Essence tag since it was flooded with game development posts and not much else. I'm also working on a master post and plan on creating some reference sheets of Noah which will be placed under a different tag! :]

#Get to know: Noah : This will be filled with answered asks and lore dump. Sometimes(?) there's random dev-logs that have lore attached to them too. #TE Updates : This only includes dev-logs/updates about the game and development progress. #Trembling Essence : This tag is mainly used to post fan art / art and anything else in general that might belong here which includes lore posts. I really want searching through the tag to be enjoyable and not filled with a bunch of dev-logs.

Okay so for people in diff timezones, it's around 4am on the 13th April for me, so the 11th was about two days ago

But I've been meaning to make a little post

Thursday marked the year anniversary of Smosh's tntl with Starkid. Now I know to some that means absolutely nothing, but to me it's a little special because this means I've now been a proper smosh fan and on smoshblr for around a year now☹️

I would say I REALLY became apart of smoshblr around November when I became shaynse anon and I don't want to sound cringey but I actually believe that I have changed quite a bit since then blogwise and even personalitywise even though its been a couple of months

I guess I just wanted to make a post to say from the bottom of my heart thank you, the mutuals and anons I've gained the past couple of months is a lot compared to me pre shaynse anon. I really found my footing on tumblr and gained a lot more confidence all thanks to this little community 🙂

I will never forget shaynse day, its still CRAZY to me that even one person thought of me, never mind multiple. I remember when that happened (people reaching out to me), I was giddy for days and I was ready to explode because I had nobody in real life to talk to it about😭 So thank you SO much

so you're ready to socialize

You've got your blog set up. You've posted or reblogged something. Your icon isn't a faceless orange shape. You're no longer in danger of being blocked on sight as a bot.

Now what?

I recently got an ask in my inbox for help with this whole 'tumblr' thing. The person that asked me had a lot of the basics down so I focused on expanding your social circle - except it took me so long to write that I saved it in my drafts to add to and only then found out that once its in your drafts you can't reply privately.

so - Imma post it here without the actual ask so if the person didn't want to be mentioned they won't. Let's go!

First off, doing what you're doing right now by sending me an ask is a great way to get the ball rolling. Reaching out to other people and engaging them is a big part of how you can build a circle on tumblr.

You can do that with inbox messages.

You can do that with DM/PMs (the box that pops up to the side where you can have real time text conversations).

You can do that by reblogging other people's posts and leaving notes in the tags commenting about the post (most posters read these, though they're more for your followers to get your thoughts on a matter, like whispering in a movie theater except without the dirty looks)

reblog their post and add your own comments in the body of the post, basically chaining a response to their post, usually used when you've got something that adds to the original post like a continuation of the joke or more facts, etc.

and you can comment on the posts via the little speech bubble next to the reblog button, which is kind of like replying personally to the post (interacting with the poster themselves).

Not everyone will automatically engage in response. Some people are just here to chill and don't want to be social (some days I know I don't have the brainpower for it). A lot of people do want to be social though and so the more you comment outward the higher your chances of finding other people you can jive with. A good way to make your chances better at finding someone that will back and forth with you is over shared interests. We're a very interest based site. So find something you're excited about - maybe its a hobby like knitting, maybe its a streaming series like Good Omens, maybe its hamsters, maybe its Elizabethan neck ruffs! Whatever it is that you're interested in punch the words that will get those kinds of results into tumblr's search bar and look at the posts that come up. I tend to search by 'newest' instead of 'most popular' because it guarantees me people that are currently interested in whatever I am, who are actively putting their posts out there for others to find. Often if you start reblogging someone's posts, they'll see it and check out your blog. If you really want interaction though, the best way to go is one of the above bullet points, especially inbox or speech bubble commenting. It shows you want to talk about something they want to talk about too. A lot of times this is a great way to get more interaction with others and widen your circle (as well as find new stuff about something you enjoy). It might be slow going, I still haven't figured out what the magic is that gets someone a blow up of followers overnight, especially not the all important holy grail of Interactive followers but slow and steady still builds a good group of people you can enjoy sharing things everyone's interested in and it keeps growing over time.

This also works in reverse. A good chunk of my followers (friends honestly) come from my days in the Voltron fandom. I was VERY active making posts while the show was airing. Lots of fanfiction, lots of meta, lots of speculation, just lots of being loud and excited (and then loud and not excited). A lot of other people were interested in VLD too at the time and they found me and bounced off my ideas with ideas of their own and things really ballooned. To this day, a huge hard core of my social group are ex-VLD fans who have moved on to other things (mostly) but still hang around because we built that core and we enjoy seeing what the others in the group have moved onto and found to share with the team. So, again, find your interests and make posts about them so that other people with the same interests can find you. The more popular something is the more attention its going to get - but also the easier it is to get lost in the shuffle of everyone talking about a thing. Not every post is going to get responses. Sometimes I'll post something I think people will enjoy and get crickets. Sometimes everyone and their cousin jumps onboard. Don't get discouraged. DO use the tags. tumblr sucks when it comes to finding things in the tags but its still worth doing because sometimes, randomly and with no pattern, it doesn't suck. The first five tags are the really important ones. Make sure you put the biggest details there. For instance if you're making a post about the One Piece live action from Netflix your first five tags should be something like: one piece, opla, netflix, zoro, swords are cool. You want people looking for One Piece posts about Zoro and his swords to be able to find you easily. And, once they find you, hopefully to engage you about Zoro and his swords.

There are a lot of ways to find other people to interact with on tumblr. One of the pleasures of the site is you get to take things, for the most part, at your own pace and level of comfort. Just remember, the more active you are interacting with other people and their posts, the wider your circle will grow. Its not a 100% success rate, like I said, a lot of people are just here to vibe after a long day of having to be socially 'on' all day, but a lot of people are happy to find other people to get to natter about interests with. Do what you're comfortable with and before you know it, you'll have a group of people that interact with your posts, and you, regularly!

I do have a question pertaining to the masterlists (or overall how this account works): Are the fics on them just recommendations, or are they an attempt to collect & list all the pertaining fics/authors?

I ask this as an author myself who has fics that I know would work for several of the lists I’ve seen (& have writer friends who I know have written fics that could also fit under some of the lists) & I’m just curious how they get chosen. Is it only from authors who help run/support the page, or only from authors who have given permission for their fics to be posted/listed on this account, or just the top hits, or are they added from suggestions, etc?

This is a genuine question, I’m not trying to sound snarky or complain that my fics have never made it on one of the lists- I’m simply just asking out of curiosity. :) Again, I love this page & greatly appreciate all the time and effort that goes into it! Thank you! <3

Masterlists are attempts to capture every fic in the fandom that fit that topic. Most of this blog is currently fics I have read, fics from authors of who I have read, or found via searching for a masterlist that was asked for. I'm slowly but surely making my way through all works of each author on the "Library of Authors" and tagging each of those to put on future masterlists. Then I'll tackle the "Additional Authors" list as well! this is just rather timeconsuming

I have two lists going for authors: Library of Authors and Additional Authors. If you are not there or if you know of an author who is not on either list, please use this Google Form in order to be added! That google form can also be used to highlight a work you really like! If you have a fic like that, please include what masterlists it may fit on (even if a masterlist hasn't been published yet like SingleParent!peeta or engineer!katniss)!

As for who runs this blog, it is ran only by me (@youreyesholdgalaxies) who is not a writer in the fandom (yet...whose to say what happens in a year or so).

Submissions are much appreciated for fics as noted above and is one way to be featured on the blog.

The poll is closed and the decision has been made after days of a tie, it has come down to the end of June will be the Gadget Summer week of 23-29.

For the summer Gadget week, the tag will remain the same from before of #InspectorGadget24 and the same blog page will be used for the entirety of the year. So tag @inspectorgadget24 for a faster and easier time for the art to be found. As at times the tagging system will hide some.

The prompts will be set up by the end of the week, so a head start may be done if anyone is feeling up to it. Each day will consist of a single prompt this time around (some with double to better help understand as not all of us are American and some events are American based because that's what I know. So they can be used for better clarity.)

Of course the prompts will be open for interpretation so go wild and creative. Try new things, have fun. Just keep it in the subject of the prompt.

Also keep it PG (and I ask kindly from the depths of my soul, if anyone is going to draw Penny in a bathing suit not to go the route of the 1983 show with her 8 year self in a very small revealing bikini. There are 'funny folks' out there who liked those scenes too much, thankfully not on Tumblr, but I've seen adults on the web posting too many screenshots of the episodes she wears it and her wiki page gallery has them posted by one person with those said screenshots and weird tied up shit with ropes it's strange. So let's not feed that fire and just do normal 8 year old's bathing suits. I don't want to sound like I'm stamping out creativity on that but it's makes me very uncomfortable and I don't want a certain crowd to be given more content.)

Don't feel pressured or feel the need to do all days of the week, one and done is just as good. Don't feel pressured to have to colour, digital draw or anything extravagant. Traditional art, rough sketches, or doodles will always be accepted.

Lastly, while submitting, you may wait until the end of the event or submit each day. The week will also have an extra day or so to allow for submissions. Just give a label to the post or drawing to say which day you've drawn.

These will be mostly repeated in the prompt post. Mostly it's like last time.

Muse (Part 1)

ROTTMNT Leo x GN/Rabbit Yokai!Reader

Warnings: Fluff, Embarrassment, Aged-up Turtles

Synopsis: You've been visiting Run Of The Mill Pizza maybe a little too often just to see the blue clad turtle of your affections and draw him. You're pretty sure he hasn't noticed you at all, bad news for you, he has and he is far too curious about why you watch him.

A/N: First things first, I am just getting back into writing so sorry if the pacing is off or theres any small inconsistencies! I'm definitely going to do my best going forward. If there's any spelling errors, just know I write from my phone primarily so its inevitable (sometimes I go through and re-edit after posting just to feel something). As well if any of the characters are written slightly out if character it's because I've never written any of them before so this is a learning curve. Also! I’m tagging this fic with the hashtag “#Tmnt Muse Fic” so if you’re looking for updates either check my blog directly or that tag :) ALSO, This is a repost from my old side blog since I wanted to make a main blog for this stuff. Anyway, I'm just here to have fun! So! With that being said, let's get going, shall we?:

You had been calmly seated in a booth at Run of the Mill Pizza, glancing around occasionally and drawing the people that sat in the other booths. The thing was, however, you were waiting for your favourite muse who often came here with his three brothers.

Just the thought of the blue clad turtle set your heart a flutter, and when you finally saw him come into the restaurant with the other colour coded turtles, you couldn't help but sigh under your breath, staring dreamily in his direction. 

It took you a moment to get yourself under control and soon you found yourself eyeing the group as they chattered away with Señor Hueso on their way towards a booth in a further away corner than you would have liked, but nonetheless you were happy to have caught sight of them. 

Grabbing your trusty navy blue conte pencil, you angled yourself in your seat just right and began sketching the red eared slider who had long since won your heart even if you'd never actually interacted before beyond almost bumping into each other once a few months back. You were a simple rabbit yokai after all, and you couldn't help your feelings. 

You were careful and precise with your actions, eyes flicking up to your muse often as you drew him, absolutely losing yourself in the process.

The sketchbook you used was already chalk full of many studies of the turtle and each and every one of them seemed to be greatly improved from the last. 

Something you were grateful for in the few months of this was that he had never noticed what you were doing. You, after all, assumed it might make him uncomfortable that you drew him every time he happened to enter your line of sight.

Though, in a way, you were also disheartened by this news. A part of you- the part that wasn't afraid of his immediate rejection- longed for his eyes to fall on you. You imagined the gaze would be warm and friendly. 

Having lost yourself in the details of your sketches by adding some slight shading and rich red conte wherever necessary, you didn't notice that the slider had come over until it was too late and he was leaned forward on your table looking at you, with amusement. To your advantage, however, your sketchbook was perfectly just out of his view. 

Clearing his throat, the man watched you jump in surprise and slam the book against your chest so hard it nearly knocked the wind out of you. "So, are you just going to keep watching me every time I come in here, or are you actually gonna talk to me?" He asked, tone somewhat smug and amused. 

Eyes flitting between his face and the tabletop with your half eaten pizza, you began to fidget, swallowing thickly at the question. He had noticed?! Of course he noticed- you had never exactly been the most secretive while watching him- 

Waving his hand in front of your face as he noticed the way you'd seemingly frozen up, the slider cocked a brow bone. "Uh- hello? Did I lose you?" 

"You noticed?" You blurted the question out without a moment's thought, shoulders raised in a tense manner.  That had not been what you wanted to say to him, in fact, you had wanted to apologize for possibly making him uncomfortable all this time, and yet you couldn't get anything else out. 

Giving you a confused look, the turtle pieced together that you were stuck on that particular detail and chuckled. "I know, I'm so observant. Thank you, thank you!" He offered with a light chuckle, but soon added a more serious, "okay okay, when you have three brothers, at least one of them is going to point out when someone is staring at you constantly. I did notice it happening on my own at first though!" He rambled absently.

You groaned and tucked your face into your hands, hiding the steadily heating skin from his gaze. 

Deciding to take the chair directly across from you and spin it around so he could sit on it backwards and rest his arms on the back to use as a head rest, the turtle spoke up again, "so, you gonna explain why you stare so much? I mean, I know I'm hot, but I didn’t assume I was "the most distractingly hot guy in the room" hot." 

"I just- no reason." You blurted dumbly, barely peeking up at him through your long ears which had flopped into your face from the position you had ended up in, curled over yourself. 

"Sure... and that's why you hid that book of yours the moment you noticed me?" 

"Yes..?" 

"And Donnie calls me a bad liar." He snickered under his breath. "But for real, are you actually not going to show me?" 

Grimacing, you try and force yourself to relax. "Nope. You'd have to kill me and then deal with my spirit to be able to look." 

The bluntness of your delivery caused the slider to breakdown laughing, wiping an imaginary tear from his eye. "I will see whatever it is some day." 

"Keep dreaming." You blurt, your mind already racing at the implication of him actively talking with you again.

"Ooo, I like that, the bunny has a bit of bite to them." He teases, standing up slowly. "I'm Leo, by the way, in case you were curious." 

You went to reply, still mildly surprised with the situation, but just as you manage to offer your name in reply, he's already walking back to his table and all you can do is stare at his carapace. "I'm... y/n-" 

You set the book back on the table, setting your conte pencils neatly on top of it, running over the conversation in your head over and over again. 

When you eventually get home you're still reeling, entirely unsure of what to do with yourself.
