I've been trying to ponder on why exactly I am so hyped for be my favorite, when the first trailer absolutely didn't do it for me. and as much as I adore fluke gawin, the difference isn't just him, but more so the reveal of the themes of the show. while I usually am not drawn to supernatural/time travel shows (I still watched & enjoyed some of them though lol so I should stop saying that), I think be my favorite is the first bl show to introduce a time travel that is wanted by the protagonist, and is in the goal of changing his life. usually, it is forced by a third party in order to achieve a random high stake goal, but here in a way the goal is even more high stake bc we're gonna watch the protagonist finally get to live his life. I think the topic of being a loser who feels like his life has passed him by, finally getting to go back in time & be himself is something that can resonate with most of us through different periods of our lives. we all have wished to go back to fix the past, do things differently, say something we didn't dare to say... that instantly makes this show way more relatable & interesting if done well. apart from that, it has enemies to friends to lovers which is obviously one of the best tropes created on this earth 😌💅 and I also think it's going to be very interesting to see how small changes affect the characters' whole set of feelings & storylines, and I love that this will be a more complicated love story, as while I love my fluffy bl shows, I prefer shows with at least SOME angst & it's hard to get that when the characters like each other since pretty much day one. here I KNOW I'm in for some top tier heartache watching pisaeng say he can't marry pear bc he already likes botkawi, and I'm very excited for that, thanks for asking 😌 ANYWAYS, all of that to say that I NEVER EVER EVER FUCKING EVER thought I'd say this, but: if done well, be my favorite has the potential to become a new fave of mine 😭 what a plot twist besties, I didn't see that coming ngl 😂

Aaaaaaaah I miss being here~~ I’m back and I’ll blame it on BE MY FAVORITE!!

I watched episode 1 and it was so goooood! I didn’t expect it to be like this. 🔥

Krist and Gawin’s chemistry is a bomb. The height difference, the stares, their banter…People are hesitant about this pairing I do too! I didn’t watch BL series for the past months. Last series I watched was Bad Buddy. Lmao I didn’t even know that Vice Versa aired already. Shdjdjddj

Anyways, Kawi is a character that so many adults experienced. Averaged paid jobs, being lame, being boring, antisocial..a loser in our own ways.

Right? It’s so easy when it’s a dream. We can do what we want. Rewind and then done. We can be happy, no regrets, no what ifs. I cried watching this scene it’s relatable. Wish we also have a rewind in our lives. To go back and do what’s right once and for all.

Then they meet..they guy he hates Pisaeng. 😂 Their whole meeting up and conversation is so chaotic.

I laughed so hard. For real I haven’t laugh this hard watching a series. 🤣

But then all these things happened because Kawi thought he’s dreaming and he can do what he wants. 😆 He’s out of his shell and talk like a brave man he is. It’s really good to see the changes in him that he wants to be different and to change. No one is forcing him, it’s his decision to be better. Self improvement in ‘dreams’.

And of course my FAVORITE PART of this episode, them being chased by gangsters. But it took a sweet turn for both of them. Gentle gestures and happy smiles. 🥰

Yep, exactly! It's such an unkind way to look at his character. Like they're allowed to dislike him, we're not the fandom police, but at least they could try not to misunderstand him?

Kawi is not perfect by any means, and I get if someone finds him annoying. He is. But saying that it's all his fault that he's lonely in the future is such a superficial way to look at his situation. His choices brought him there, but not because he wanted to. He's just wired in a way that makes it very hard for him to get close to other people. If others can't relate, well, GOOD FOR THEM, but I can, and it sucks. It's not as easy for everyone.

And sometimes life is just a bitch, you make one (1) bad choice and everything goes to shit and you don't know how to get back on your feet and then even more shit gets down and you feel even worse and it goes on and on until you give up.

Kawi spent twelve years blaming himself for everything. He suffered the loss of his only parent who left him ALONE. He had to carry on ALONE without being able to rely on anyone else. Years and years trapped in a life that was just work work work and regrets. He basically lived through his memories of university, in an alternative universe when he did the right thing and didn't chicken out at the last minute. He was so wrapped up in this absurd fantasy that he honestly believed he could've fixed everything by giving Pear the lamp as a wedding gift TWELVE YEARS LATER 😭

Also YES ABOUT THE KISS! Like yeah, Pisaeng did nothing to make Kawi feel unsafe in the uni timeline, but that kiss was-- intense, and Kawi couldn't process it with the base of a friendship of over ten years because he didn't live those years!

I do think some people are prejudiced about Kawi only because they dislike Krist and so they find excuses to shit on his character... but honestly no one needs to do that, just say Kawi's face makes you wanna punch him, no one will mind 😂

Also guys I can feel it in my bones that Kawi will give us some other reasons to shit on him, just wait for those so we can all agree 😂

We got this in the ep 7 teaser at first I didn't think much of it just kawi going back to the present to check on his dad maybe which makes sense but then we recently got this....

At first I thought maybe pisaeng will stop kawi from going to the present he already knows about the crystal ball but then I saw this....

Now why is kawi hugging pisaeng and crying..... that made me realize kawi does go back to the present and probably has a big fight with pisaeng that he probably can't remember now what would that fight be about....after speaking to a fellow bmf fan I think we cracked it but like I said I could be wrong lol in the bmf stories we also got this interesting bts

Now why is kawi causing drama at pears wedding it even looks like he gets into a fight with someone this will probably be the thing kawi can't remember maybe he's still chasing after pear in this timeline which leads to pisaeng saying this....

FirstKhaotung - They’ve had an amazing year and are really popular with I fans. So I can’t see how they won’t be getting new stuff. I 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 they get the RomCom they’ve been hinting at wanting.

ForceBook - I’m not a ForceBook girly but I know plenty are so it makes sense they’d bank on that.

Earth/Mix - I’m guessing maybe not more than one project but probably something. They’re popular and their dramas do well.

Perth/Chimon - Dangerous Romance is working well for them and they’re widely liked. They’re also just that smidge older than Gem & Fourth so could convincingly play slightly older college age.

Pond/Phuwin - Pond’s been talking about going back to school and Never Let Me Go got weirdly mixed feedback. They are popular though and that might be enough.

Jimmy/Sea - Listen, I love them. Vice Versa had the absolute worst ppl and I still ate up every second of their cosiness. But, also, Jimmy’s a damn doctor and they’re both pretty introverted so I’d struggle to see them in another pairing.

JoongDunk - Hidden Agenda wasn’t that well received and nor have their previous dramas been. Joong would work well in a het drama tbh but I’m just not sure what they’d do with Dunk.

Aou/Boom - I want this so badly and I know lots of others do too. Aou has said he’s got stuff coming up with Boom I’m just hopeful it’s a main role.

Nanon - idc what I just need him in things. I doubt they won’t use him. Just not 100% on if we’ll have him in a BL again.

MarkNeo - No doubt we’ll have them as the best friends in things as always but I’d also love a main role for them. They’ve proved with Only Friends that they can carry themselves.

OffGun - They’re getting older and they’ve truly done their time. Gun’s had some great non BL roles and I’d be excited to see him in more of those.

TayNew - Honestly not a clue with these two. I think they’re both great so won’t really mind if they’re split and stuck in het dramas. I just ask that they’re good.

I thought we had already gone through the rough part with Pisaeng getting his heart stomped on once, but they lulled us into a false sense of security, and then bam! Went for the throat. All of the little changes in Pisaeng's face after Kawi says he's trying to get Pisaeng close to Not again, so he won't be close to Kawi? Stab me through the heart, why don't you.

And Pisaeng's face when Kawi repays him is so hurt and filled with disdain for that money.

My initial thought to all Pisaeng's heartbreaks was, oh, no! He’ll think Kawi never wanted to be friends and was only using him to get to Pear and is dumping him now. And then I remember that that’s actually how things did start 🫢

I think this episode was the second time Pisaeng has tried to get a nap at Kawi’s place (if he was planning to go with when he offered a nap before the Pear date). I also love the way Krist said the line about napping at his own place for some reason. It just sounded so funny the way he said it, so scandalized.

I do feel bad that Pear will have her heart broken. But that’s all the rage in these parts, it seems.

The way they filmed Pear and Kwan in the car after the not-date was so weird to me. It felt like it was filmed like a villain reveal or something, but she was just going, yeah no date with Pisaeng :(

Now that I’m thinking about Villain Pear, though, it’d be super funny if she also had a time travel device and they were both jumping back in time trying to change things to end up with Pisaeng 😂

The elation when Pisaeng won the turtle for Kawi was 🥹🥺🥹 I wonder if that was before or after he decided to leave the meal. I didn’t see it when he was in the doorway, but his hands were out of frame, I think. It’s sad that he was planning to go back, but then started feeling sad when he should feel happy, so he left :( And him throwing the plushie at Kawi hurt! He was so excited to win it for him. And he jumped so high in joy!

The plot I think will be one of those stories that will jump from present day to memories from 10 years ago to unfold what really happened in relation to the murder of Ohm's character's older brother.

EarthMix!! And First and Khaotung. Very interesting mix of actors to me! It's about a restaurant worker (owner?) and a new regular customer kinda falling in love? A love affair? Idk. Drama.

Dirty Laundry

Nanon and Film, Jennie, Godji, and Zani (I?? Love?? Her???), And Pond randomly. Lol. Honestly this installment of the series looks like a crack bucket. Idk what to make of it. It reminds me of 3 Will Be Free but way more cracky.

Vice Versa (BL)

Jimmy and Sea somebody. But OHM AND NANON!!!! As support roles but still! And then there's Neo too.

Sea dies and wakes up in another world and tries to get back but he needs to find a specific somebody (Jimmy ofc) who also switched worlds in order to go back.

Mike and Krist. Honestly this looks super fun and cute. And time travel! I think it's sort of like groundhog day? But he's jumping farther back in time and trying to fix his past. I think it'll be fun.

Astrophile

Bright, Off, Nicky Nachat, Jennie, Toptap, Jan, and First. Love triangle with Bright and Off chasing after a girl. Bright's an ugly duckling who falls for a pretty girl and then has a glow up and chases her down years later. Seems like a worse and more dramatic version of En of Love: Tossara or My Dear Loser: Edge of 17 or 2Moons.

My Precious (movie)

NANON!!! And Ohm and Chimon!! And Neo! And then some girl who's pretty. Who happens to make all of the boys fall for her. This looks like a cute, sweet but cringeworthy embarrassing love story featuring very immature and stupid and confident teen boys. (A show to send me back to horribly embarrassing high school flashbacks and also send the current aro me into hysterics of WHY THO)

ok so original reasoning was : Krst has been known to say not so gay-friendly stuff when a bl literally Made him and also his acting is shite + lots of little things that made me very unsympathetic towards him over the years (aka i hated his clown guts until 5 minutes ago)

now Mke i dont have anything against personally but the shit show that was THCT is still very vivid in my mind and the joke that his couple was... 🙂 i refuse to believe any gay person was involved in the making of this mess. mix that with the fact that he mostly plays comic relief characters and you can hear the circus music looking at the teaser poster

(now i've read Krst's apology for the first time with a mature mindset and im thinking what if he means it ? he did sound genuine 🤔 and WHAT IF this is his new start. i'd rather he sticks to being a respectful ally playing mediocre str8 roles but 🤷🏽‍♀️ what if he's a completely different person now ??? what if he can act
