Valek X Reader
Context: Valek saves you after Jack Crow attacks you. Valek heals you by giving you his blood, and threatens Jack after what he did to you 🧛‍♂️💚
You were left on the side of the road by Jack Crow. He had attacked you in sunlight so Valek couldn't be there to protect you. He beat you over and over, your face was swollen and bloody, and every inch of you ached with pain. You could barely breath because of 2 broken ribs. You were crying in pain, left on a road outside a disused motel, the pain was so much that you eventually passed out. When you wake up, Valek is holding you in his arms and carrying you into your bedroom. "Valek?" You say in a broken voice" "shhh my darling, it's alright" he says as he gently lies you down on the bed. His piercing blue eyes are filled with pain, but also anger as he looks at your tearful face. You try to talk to him, but the pain makes you stutter your words. "Valek...I couldn't...I couldn't stop him...he...he was-" Valek gently rests his hand against you cheek. "Shhh my darling, I know. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there to protect you. I promise you my love, I will never let anyone hurt you ever again. Now, you must take this, it will heal you" Valek says as he pulls up his sleave, and bites into his wrist. "But-but Valek" "dont worry my love, this will only heal your wounds. It will not turn you" Being a human, you told Valek at the start of your relationship that you weren't ready to be a vampire, and he understood that you wanted to wait. And you knew he would never do anything to deceive you, he loved and respected you too much. He helped you sit up on the bed and supported you by holding his arm around your back. He holds his wrist up to you, and you bring it to your lips. You thought it would taste horrible, almost metallic. But it didnt, it barely had any taste at all. You took a few mouthfuls before you felt dizzy. He moves his wrist away from your lips and wipes away a drop of blood from the side of your mouth. Your vision was getting blurry, but he places a gently, feather like touch against your lips. "You will now fall into a gentle sleep my love. And when you awake, you will no longer feel pain" his words are the last thing you hear, before you fall alseep in his arms. A few hours later, you wake up in the bed, and you feel no pain at all. Your broken rib is no more, and you touch your face, and feel no swelling or bruises. You get up to look in the mirror, and there isnt a single mark on you. "Ah my love. Your awake" comes Valeks voice from behind you. You go straight up to him and pull him in for a hug, and of course, he hugs you back. "You saved me Valek. Thank you. I dont know how I can repay you" he looks down at you and lifts your chin up with his finger to look him straight into those hypnotic blue eyes. "You are the love of my life Y/N. Your smile is all the repayment I need" you then both share a tender kiss. "Come my darling, you need to eat something. lets go out to the court yard with the others" Guiding you out side, you see all the other vampires doing their own thing. Until something strange catches your eye. You see a large car parked about 15 metres away, with someone tied up to it, covered in blood. Valek kisses your cheek before letting go of your hand, and walking over to the man. That's when you see that its Jack Crow! Valek kneels down to him. "You made a big mistake going after the love of my life Jack. You beat her and left her for dead. You caused her unimaginable pain!" Valek grabs his face in his hand. "You will know nothing but pain and torture tonight Jack. You will suffer for what you did to Y/N, and you will beg for the realise of death" Valek turns around and sees you smile and talk to one of your vampire friends. Happy, safe, and no longer in pain or danger. But Valek remembers the pain you went through, and what you felt, then he turns back to Jack. "I could have lost the only person I have ever loved tonight Jack. She is my soul reason for living, breathing, existing. You tried to take her away from me. And now...you will pay for it"

Ise Prefer You As a Boy - Newsies PT3
The second we get inside the Manhattan lodging house, a massive group of boys come bounding over. "Thank God you're back." Davey hugs me first, Les clinging onto my legs. Crutchie hobbles over next and hugs me. "I missed you so much." He whispers. "I missed you too Crutch."
The last to come over was Buttons. "I'm glad you're back Freckles, I missed you a lot and honestly don't know what Ise would do if youse weren't here." I hug him tightly. "Can I sit on your bed with you?" Buttons asks. "Of course you can." I say. We both go and sit down on it.
I pull my hair out of the ponytail it was hiding in underneath my cap and Buttons takes a piece of it and fiddles with it.
---------------
"Aw, cute." I wake up in the middle of the night to see Race and Albert stood over me. "What are you two 'awing' over?" I glare at them. "You and Buttons are cute." Albert smirks, I look down and realise that I had fallen alseep cuddled with the boy.
"No. Albert, we are not cute." I sigh. "True, you are, Buttons isn't." Abert winks at me. I roll my eyes at him, lie back down and close my eyes again. I feel a hand in my hair, my eyes shot open. "Sorry." Albert mouths to me before backing away to his own bed.
What was up with him? I shrug it off and go back to sleep.
"Albert." I screech the moment I woke up. "Yes dear?" He walks over with a cocky look on his face. "Why were you stroking my hair last night?" Albert's cocky look drops and his face turns bright red to match his hair.
"Uh, Ise uh, sorry?" He stutters. "No, it's fine. I don't mind. I was just wondering why youse did it." I put my hand on his arm. "It doesn't matter." He says, walking off.
"Freckles! D'ya wanna sell with me today?" Buttons comes bounding over excitedly. "Of course she will." Albert says, rolling his eyes from another corner. I glance at Albert before leaving to buy papes with Buttons.
"Paper! Paper!" I yell out to the busy streets of Manhattan. A large crowd of people flock around me and hand me over money in return for a paper. "Thank you, Sir, thank you." I thank people as they leave.
"Good going." Buttons says from behind me. I smile and sell another paper. "How many have you sold?" He asks, I count my remaining papes. "I've sold twenty of my forty." I say. "Already? Wow."
-------
"You know, Ise still prefer you as a boy." Buttons sits down on the pavement next to me giggling. "Nice to know." I laugh. "I mean, youse a pretty goil but also, youse a pretty boy." He nudges me jokingly.
"Aw, thanks." I grin at Buttons, giggling slightly. "I also think someone has a crush on you." He stares down at the floor. "You've already told me this."
"No Freckles, one of the boys likes you as a girl." Buttons looks up to me. "W-who?" I ask, getting more interested. "Albert." I gape at Buttons.
"No. No. How could he like me? You're lying." I say hurriedly. "You really think I'm lying? Did he not stroke you hair? Or call you cute? Or seemed jealous when I asked if youse would want to sell with me today?" Buttons sighs, shaking his head at me.
"He's joking, obviously." I shut down the theory of Albert having a crush on me. "You're so oblivious." He mutters. "I am not! Why ever would Albert like me?" I ask. "Why don't you ask him yourself?" Buttons rolls his eyes at me before going to sell more papers.
"Fine. I will do." I glare at Buttons before shouting out the headline once again.
-----
At the end selling day, Buttons and I make our way over to Jacobi's Deli to meet the rest of the boys. When we arrive, I go and sit on one of the empty tables in the corner, away from the boys.
"Are you okay? You normally sit with the boys." Jacobi sits opposite me, he'd known my secret for longer than the boys as I'd come in one afternoon by myself with my hair down.
"Yeah, just not really feeling up to hanging with them today." I sigh, feeling a pain just below my stomach. "Do you want me to sneak you out so you can go back to the Lodging House?" Jacobi asks. "Please."
We both stand up and he shuffles me towards the kitchens. "Take this and go out that door there." He hands me half a loaf of bread. "Thank you Sir." I smile and he ushers me out of the door. "No problem, see you soon."
I take off quickly, running as fast as I can toward the Lodging House. Once I reach it, I pay lodging fee and then go to my bed, change and hide under my thin blanket and try to fall asleep. I wake up a few hours later with all of the boys stood over my bed, a few sat on the edge of it.
"Freckles! You're okay!" Jojo is the first to notice that I'm awake. "Yeah." I mutter. Davey immediately puts his hand to my head. "You haven't got a temperature Freckles."
"Figured that one out." I mumble. "What's up with her?" Albert says, eyes filled with worry. "Let me talk to her alone for a moment." Davey clears all  the boys away from the bed except from Jack.
"How do you know that something is wrong with me and that I wasn't actually just tired." I glance up at Davey. "Freckles, you never go to sleep this early." Jack puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Okay, fine you got me. I'm just having a minor problem right now, but I'm fine." I roll my eyes at the two boys, who might as well be my parents. "Ohh, it's that, right?" Davey's eyes widen. I nod ever so slightly.
"I see. Do you think you can still sell?" Jack asks. "Dude, it's not going to kill me to sell, so yes, I can still sell." I say. "Okay, but we're going to keep an extra eye on you this week." Davey says. "Okay Mum." I sigh.
"What?" Jack sniggers. "You two literally act like you're our parents, I'm not even kidding." I explain. "We do?" Davey asks. "Yep! But that's okay, I appreciate actually having parents now." I smile and hug him. "Get some more sleep." Jack says. "But I've just slept for like two hours." I complain.
"Sleep, or I'll ground you." Jack threatens me "Fine, night Mum, night Dad." I say under my breath. "Night Freckles." Jack kisses my forehead. They both leave the side of my bed and Davey leaves the lodging house altogether with Les in tow.
Albert comes and sits on the side of my bed and strokes my forehead. "You okay Freckles?" He asks. "Yeah, I'm all good." I smile at him. "Okie! I was worried." Albert blushes.
We sit in silence for a few minutes, Albert running his fingers through my hair. Buttons comes running over and sits with us too.
I wake up in the morning to find Buttons and Albert both curled up either side of me on my bed. I smile at the two boys and try to sit up without waking either of them up. "Morning." Albert whispers. "Did I wake you? I'm so sorry."
"Don't worry about it. Would you like to sell with me today for a change?" Albert asks hesitantly. "Of course I will!" I grin. "Yay! Let's go and get ready." Albert jumps up and pulls me up too.
Once we got ready and got our papes we hit the street immediately.
"Freckles, can I uh, tell youse something?" Albert says after a while of selling papes.
"Of course." I sit down on the pavement next to him. "Okay, so uh, Ise kinda likes you, like likes you." He flushes a bright red, almost matching his hair.
I feel my face heat up as well. "Forgets it, shouldn'ta said nothing." Albert stands up and begins to walk away.
"Albert." I jump up after him.
"What?" Albert snaps.

five times kissed
@gamfcowboy (five times kissed meme) [open]
A kiss on the hand. Such had been the first kiss Ana could recall giving McCree - while the gesture was chaste and innocent, the circumstances were grave and unfortunate. She remembered the blood, the wound in his abdomen, o so horrifying in a body so young and not ready to die yet. Ana could remember thinking they shouldn’t have taken him into battle, the inevitable sense of guilt as she compressed the wound herself to stop the bleeding while they were taking him back to base. Despite Jack’s and Gabriel’s best efforts, they could not deter her from remaining at his side, staying up all night to watch over their unconscious rebel.
McCree was their youngest and most recent recruit - also the most problematic one. He was young, wild, arrogant and defiant. Yet Ana had refused to give up, working hard to not demand, but earn the young man’s respect. To make him feel welcome. To make him feel like he wasn’t just another piece of the huge machine Overwatch had become - to make him feel like he had something here, that he had a family. That this wasn’t Deadlock. Never would be.
If she didn’t stay by his side in this moment, what kind of family would she be?
She had fallen alseep when he woke up a few hours later - jerking awake when she felt his hand move in hers. “What are you doin’ here?” He had asked, weak and obviously shaken.
She had offered him a smile. “Making sure you were not alone.” Was it the medication, the fright of near-death experience, or the exhaustion? In any case, Ana clearly saw the tears threatening to roll down his cheeks, unusually pale from the blood loss. The sniper’s fingers squeezed his gently, and took his hand up a she bowed her head, lips pressing warmly against his knuckles.
You’re home. You’re home.
***
“Happy birthday Jesse!”
How she loved the role of the embarrassing mom - much to Fareeha’s dismay. Luckily for the young girl (or not), she wasn’t the only member of Overwatch to have to endure this treatment. McCree, whether he liked it or not (and Ana strongly suspected he did) was also blessed or cursed with this extravagant demonstration of affection. What better occasion than an impromptu birthday party to remind the boy that he would not be rid of her anytime soon?
Literally jumping from behind his back, she locked her arm around his neck and pulled him down for a quick peck on the cheek - the beginning of a stubble scratching against her lips and she laughed and ruffled through his hair.
The carefree days of innocence.
***
It had been a hard day - for all of them. For the first time, the tensions between Jack and Gabriel had become a matter of public awareness, and all members of Overwatch had a first-hand opportunity to witness the spite, the anger, the unspoken tension Ana tried so hard to soothe every day to no avail.
In the end she had managed to get everyone out, remaining alone with the Overwatch and Blackwatch commanders for yet another hour, muffled yells coming out from behind the sealed doors. She had come out of here exhausted, drained. Powerless. Hard gaze fixed ahead of her as she stormed down the corridor, ignoring the painful knot in her throat, she opened the door of the common room.
Not expecting to find Jesse sitting alone there, his hat resting on the table by his side - cigarette tucked between his lips. Did he catch a glimpse of her contained anger? Probably - she immediately calmed down, locking away the storm raging in her heart and mind. Amber eyes softened and a sorry smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she slowly approached the young man, walking around the table to lay both hands on his shoulders and bending down to press a kiss on his head.
“It’s going to be fine. We’re all going to be fine.” She muttered. Hopeful. Not quite sure she really believed it herself.
***
“Don’t make that face Lena, I’ll be back before you even notice I’m gone.” She smiled, swinging her kinamura across her shoulder, amusement glimmering in her eyes as she confidently reassured the youngest recruit of Overwatch. It was nothign exceptional after all: a hostage rescue situation like so many others. Of course there was this rumoured new assassin they had to watch out for. But Ana, while not being unreasonably optimistic, had faith. Faith in her team, faith in Jack, faith in her own abilities, faith in her pledge to bring everyone home safe.
Little did she know.
In the plane taking them to the operation site, she took out the group picture she always carried in the inside pocket of her coat. Eyes lingering on the silhouettes of friends long gone and those who were still there, an impulse - call it instinct - led her to indulge in a bout of sentimentality.
One kiss for each.
One kiss for Angela. One kiss for Winston. One kiss for Lena. One kiss for Gabriel. One kiss for Jack. One kiss for Fareeha - longer than the others.
And one kiss for Jesse. Gone and nowhere to be found. But hopefully somewhere out there.
Somewhere warm. Somewhere safe.
***
“I’m here.” She repeated, fingers combing through the cowboy’s hair as his head rested in her arms. How long had it been since she had last received a nightly visit from a distraught and distressed Jesse. She couldn’t even remember. Years. Probably over a decade. An old habit she had accepted without as much of a comment, like she used to accept Fareeha crawl into her bed after a nightmare.
“It’s going to be fine. We’re all going to be fine.” She said, pressing against his forehead.
Another promise. The exact same words she used years ago.
But this time, she intended on keeping her word.
For his sake. For all of their sakes.
