Okay so um... one of my paper foxes got eaten before I could finish them so as I refused to throw them away I decided to finish making the fox but um... the part that got eaten was the head. I think they look rather cool but like I am deciding to post pictures of them, and a regular one for scale. However I dunno if the pictures are that good but whatever.

ah yes, time to do a post about Why Charlie's Like That™ In This Au.

so, as i've mentioned in my pinned post, which goes over the main info about the New Guys this au adds, you may notice that i mention that the two theories for why Charlie keeps returning to Freddy's (according to some of the people who know her best) are because she wants to stay close to her dead brother (Sammy), believing him to still linger within the restaurant (he does, but that's besides the point), or because she is following Cassidy around, given that they are one of the only people she has left. others believe that it's some mix of the two (and that is actually the most accurate). but...why? why not try to move on? why not try to cope with her loss? why stick with someone as they, unknowingly but effectively, cause her to relive some of her worst trauma?

well...there's a few reasons.

for one, in a way, Charlie does kind of believe that Cassidy is one of the only people she has left in her life. sure, she still has her mother and her aunt...but, to her, they don't entirely get it. they know she's hurting; hell, she lost her brother and father when she was young (she lost Sammy when she was 4, and her father when she was 12), for fucks sake. how could they not know she was hurting? but...neither of them really knew the best way to help. her mother was dealing with her own grief, and became distant. not because she didn't care about her daughter; far from that. but she had just lost her husband and had been grieving her son for years on top of that. she wasn't really...in the best mental space to be helping Charlie. her aunt, Jen, had been somewhat distant from the family (not because she and Charlie's father were estranged, but she lived a good distance from the family, and they didn't visit each other often), and thus didn't really know how to help Charlie either. she gave the girl the best emotional support she could, but...it wasn't enough for Charlie.

the only person in her life who understood was her father, Mr. Emily, but...well, he's not exactly around anymore, now is he?

but Cassidy? in Charlie's eyes, they understand Perfectly.

they've both lost brothers, and both to the same man.

they both felt powerless to get justice for them, having both been rather young when their brothers were first murdered (and, in Charlie's case, too young to even truly understand what had happened for a few years).

they both want closure, to finally be able to move on and truly heal.

and, most importantly, they both want to free the souls at Freddy's.

Cassidy was also the person who, unintentionally, made Charlie aware of the fact that Sammy was still around (all you need to know: Ouija Board At Fredbear's).

Charlie follows Cassidy around because she wants help with freeing the souls trapped at Freddy's, to be with her brother again.

but, she also wants to follow them around because, in her eyes, they're the only person she has left who understands.

TADC Headcanons (Updated)

So, I thought it would be fun to do parental headcanons for the amazing digital circus. (Also one question: Why does google misspell Gangle as Jungle?) Edit: I updated this so check out the new headcanons! :D

Let's start with you.

You were a naive child who was highly curious. Out of curiosity, you put on a headset. The next thing you knew, you couldn't remember anything. You kept having a constant feeling that something was wrong. You felt scared as you stood somewhat trembling on some sort of stage. But then, you see that someone has noticed you. Maybe they can help.

Let's move on to the characters

Pomni

Pomni looks flabbergasted upon seeing you. She definitely wasn't expecting to see a child in the circus.

Pomni starts to panic. But she calms down a bit and reaches out for you. It wasn't long before you followed her around feeling comforted by her presence. She starts to question your behavior.

She is obviously caught off guard by some 5 year old. But she begins to start acting like a worried mom.

If you wander off, Pomni will start to panic. She will grab anyone near her by the chest and yell "WHERE IS MY KID??!!!" She finally calms down when you show up or if she finds you. "OH THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE OK!" is her reaction to finally seeing you.

Pomni is now extra careful during adventures because she wouldn't want to lose you.

Jax

Jax acts uninterested in you at first, and shrugs it off as some joke by Caine. That is, until you start to follow him around. This annoys him a lot.

He will repeatedly try and get rid of you, but Caine will just teleport you back to him. It may take weeks to make him get used to you.

He first notices your imprinting on him when you not only follow him, but laugh when he pranks someone.

Eventually, Jax will become protective and loving towards you. If there is danger near by, he will sprint away with you either flailing behind him as he carries you, or with you held tightly to his chest. Either way there is a very high chance that you will throw up the moment he puts you down.

He gives you an Ipad with educational games, and it keeps you occupied. Jax uses this as an excuse to get a break from you.

There is no doubt that he will teach you how to be a menace like him.

Jax also likes to tease you with scary stories. But if he makes you cry, you're being carried for the rest of the day.

Jax will eventually just hold you like a plushie when he sleeps. He also made a separate bed for you incase you need space.

He can tell if your having a nightmare. If he sees that, he will grab you and you will secretly sleep with him for the rest of the night.

Ragatha

Ragatha is worried about you. After comforting you for a bit, she begins to show her motherly figure towards you.

She plays lullabies on the piano to help you sleep. She will always be there to comfort you.

If someone throws a weapon at you, Ragatha will track down who did it, and kick their shins. XD

Ragatha makes knitted plush toys for you. She also scolds Jax way more often so that he won't prank you at all.

Gangle

Gangle is shocked upon seeing you. She panics a little breaking her own comedy mask. After that she will start rambling while sobbing that she's too young to be a mother.

Once she calms down, she takes you in. She absolutely loves cuddling you.

Gangle will let you draw with her. Your first drawing was this:

Upon seeing your drawing she starts having a mental breakdown of happiness.

4. She makes you a comedy mask of your own. Now you can be twinsies! :D

Kinger

Kinger is oblivious to you, until you say hi and he screams

He lets you follow him into his impenetrable fortress, but then he forgets you're there and screams again. "AAAÆÆÆ- Oh! Little guy! You startled me!"

He lets you sleep with him in his fortress and shows you his insect collection.

He is overjoyed to be a dad. He loves teaching you about insects and stuff. You sometimes hide in his robe, and when someone asks where you are, you peek out like a kitty.

He will give you piggyback rides.

Zooble

Despite their sarcastic personality, Zooble is concerned for you. They take you in and start telling you about an absolute jerk known as the easter bunny. Well you fell for it. And when you call Jax the easter bunny, Zooble starts laughing

They get beyond pissed when someone makes you cry. They will track down the person who bullied you and strangle them.

Zooble will instead of saying they refuse to go on the adventure, they will say "Sorry, guys. If anyone needs me, I'll be in my room with the little squirt."

Caine

"My my! It's seems like a new human has entered this realm! ... A small one!"

Caine has to get parenting information into his data since he is an Ai. He entertains you with magic tricks.

He let's you sit on his lap while the two of you watch the adventures progress.

"No no no my dear! We can't have any of that rude language around here!" is his reaction to you insulting someone.

You sometimes steal his hat, but you are so cute, that Caine won't get mad at you. But he will still take his hat back from you.

likes having someone who can understand him, and when the two of you become closer he’ll often confide in you about things he often keeps to himself since becoming Zelda’s appointed Knight and Hyrules Champion

only difference is that his rivalry with you vs with Link starts to turn into something more of the fun sort, like a friendly competition of who’s the better warrior

the more time passes, the more he finds himself impressed by not just your skills but your personality as well

he quite enjoys having someone who can quip back at him and finds the fire in your eyes somewhat adorable, not that he’d ever admit aloud

100% teaches you how to use a bow instead of just a sword; tells you he only does this because it would make your fights more even, totally not because he actually likes spending time with you or anything, don’t be ridiculous!

Urbosa:

finds it very charming your dedication to protect others despite not being apart of any corpse

she finds your skills admirable and after some time of observing, ask if you’d like to join her army

it’s a huge honor, no matter your gender, and she promises to make you an even more skilled knight under her wing than before

don’t expect her to go easy on you though just because she likes you, if anything she might even train you harder than others

it’s not to be an ass, it’s because she can see the potential that you possess as well as wanting to make sure you’re always safe incase she’s not there to help fight alongside you

I got asked earlier what my thoughts are on the Mori is Atsushi’s dad theory. And personally I don’t buy into it (full breakdown is here incase anyone’s curious.)

But I find it an interesting idea and wanted to play around with it. So here’s my concept for what if Mori was Atsushi’s dad.

Mori knew he’d need a successor for when he took over the Port Mafia. It’d be easier for it to be his own heir. But he wasn’t exactly jazzed about having a baby to look after.

As time went on tho Mori did develop a bond with Atsushi. He wouldn’t call it love but he did feel some affection for him. A feeling that definitely grew when Atsushi manifested a powerful ability.

At first as far as Mori knew, it was simply to turn into a tiger. Which in enough itself was impressive. But that Atsushi got into an accident (as babies do) but miraculously his ability seemed to heal his wounds.

Upon closer inspection Mori realises it wasn’t quite regeneration. But reversion, bringing him back to his original state and thus no longer being injured (same analysis Yosano makes in season 1.)

Definitely does has a “of course he has a powerful ability, he is my son after all” moment. And things would’ve stayed mostly peaceful until the Great war. Mori ends up heading off and has enough sense not to bring his 4 year old with him (but bringing an 11 year old is clearly fine.)

And so Atsushi is left in the care of his mother. Mori and her aren’t together, they are amicable and only really interact if it concerns Atsushi. She’s even dating another man, a cute Russian man who offers to look after her son when an emergency comes up.

One he is directly responsible for because ✨surprise ✨ it’s Fyodor. He takes Atsushi to a far away orphanage, weaving a story about a poor child he found in a bin. Atsushi’s mum is horrified when she comes home, and turns out Fyodor was in disguise and using a fake name.

And because there was a whole thing about the northern lights in the Great War causing emp waves (or something), the phone service is shit and Mori doesn’t find out until he returns. He doesn’t exactly take the news well.

It’s then that Natsume reveals to him what the book is and Atsushi’s connection to it. Saying he didn’t say anything prior because he wanted to be completely sure. And had he known this man was after Atsushi he would have. Mori’s not exactly happy but he understands.

This whole thing only fuels his desire to be PM Boss. Knowing he’ll gain the resources to locate his son. Life carries on and Mori sits on the throne of the PM. The only people who knew of his son were Dazai and Chuuya, and Mori tells them at the same time.

When Chuuya is lashing out in Mori’s office about what he’s lost to the old Boss Mori says he understands. He understands how it feels to lose everything you hold dear, but also to rise above and take control. “I had a son. He was stolen from me, and I will rake this earth until I find him alive.”

When Chuuya joins he says something like “when the day comes you find a lead. I will do everything in my power to bring your son back to you.”

That lead would come 6 years later when a bounty for a tiger is given to the PM. And Mori freezes at the sight of its eyes, he’d know those eyes anywhere.

Everyone’s confused as to why the bounty isn’t being taken, except for Chuuya who puts two and two together. Akutagawa is instructed to bring the weretiger back.

But under no circumstances is he to hurt him. This goes out the window once Atsushi joins the Agency and Dazai, while captured purposefully riles up Akutagawa. Because he realised Atsushi’s identity and won’t let Mori take him.

Things carry on, Akutagawa’s on thin fucking ice as is Kouyou but things go on.

Atsushi and Mori still meet in Anne’s Room. Atsushi thinks he looks familiar and Mori pretends he doesn’t know him. And gives him advice, he’s curious to see what his son has grown into. And also doesn’t want their reunion to take place here.

Mori is also more open to a truce even if he doesn’t accept it right away, especially when learning it was Atsushi’s idea.

Atsushi doesn’t learn the truth until Dead Apple. He doesn’t take it well but learns to accept himself. Akutagawa gives him a good tongue lashing for not telling him and the Agency accepts Atsushi.

Atsushi and Mori don’t meet properly until the Cannibalism arc, truly wonderful timing. He feels guilty for worrying about Mori. Speaking of, Mori finally learns Fyodor’s the one who stole Atsushi, after being stabbed by him.

There’s really no easy way to break it to Atsushi that the Agency are going to kill his dad. He’s against it (even more so than in canon) and wants to try and find a different solution. But after the lead is a failure, all Atsushi asks is if he can at least say goodbye.

His friends grant him that at least.

Atsushi walks up to PM headquarters to Chuuya who stops the goons from trying to shoot him.

Atsushi: Do you know who I am?

Chuuya: The Agencies Weretiger?

Atsushi: Not that. It’s…About your Boss.

Chuuya: So you found out. Yeah, what about it?

Atsushi: I want to see him. I don’t know what’ll happen but, I know this might be my last chance.

Chuuya passes a message on, gets the okay and sends a goon with Atsushi to go up. “And kid, for what it’s worth. He’s missed ya.”

Mori is sat up in bed and sends Kouyou out. It’s awkward at first but Mori doesn’t seem phased by it. Asking how Atsushi is and sharing old stories.

Atsushi getting emotional because he was told he was abandoned. Mori firmly remarking that he wasn’t, that Mori scoured the country and than some for him.

That he was missed, dearly.

Atsushi saying that he wished they had more time. And that he’s trying to find a different solution, giving a teary smile when Mori comments he truly did take after him. Mori has no doubt he’ll survive this but simply says he has faith in Atsushi.

If he says theres a solution where everyone survives then there will be. And that when it comes they should get dinner, whatever he likes.

“Do you still love chazuke?”

“It’s my favourite.”

“Mine too. Chazuke it is then.”

Atsushi leaves with hesitation and the assassination plot kicks off and fails. The rest of the plan is carried out and the end has Atsushi and Mori eating chazuke together at a restaurant.

Atsushi knows what kind of man Mori is, but he’s also his dad. He knows he cares in his own way and wouldn’t hurt him. And they are allies currently.

Chuuya goes back for Atsushi during the rescue and finds he’s missing. Which gives Mori a heart attack until he realises Atsushi snuck out with Kyouka and made a deal with Fitzgerald.

Does he wish Atsushi came to him? Yes, though he does understand Atsushi’s reasoning and touched he didn’t want to drag the PM into this (oh dear boy we were involved when you got dragged into it.)

Also doesn’t appreciate Fitzgerald manipulating his son.

Things go on, worlds saved until it isn’t and Mori gets up to greet Atsushi. And for the first time, hugs him. Atsushi breaks down and Mori tells him this will all be fixed.

That damn rat had taken too much from Atsushi, he wouldn’t take anymore. Ability or not, Mori would find a way to kill him if he tried. He couldn’t even be happy at having his son in his rightful home.

Fyodor was going to pay dearly.

What if Mel took her mothers side as to know what her true plans are? What if Mel "foxed" her way in to know why, who, how, everything? What if Mel doesn't KNOW what she is, or at least what "blessed" blood she has running in her veins, but something happens that leaves her questioning??

What if she didn't even know her gold was actually "armor" and thats when she decided she needed to jab more information?

What would Ambessas reaction be towards this information? If this is a sudden change, will she have doubts? (Probably), will she accept this flip of character? Is she the one that initiated this change after the problems happening finally got to her daughter?

What if Ambessa kept denying telling her the truth for the sake of protecting her, which could lead them to truly part and become enemies? Which means Mel would be further from finding the truth, so instead, she agrees to go back to Noxus with Ambessa, so she could find not only ways to take her mother down (as in break her course of plans set for everything in the timeline) but also to gain knowledge over everything related about THEM (including kino) ??

We don't know if Mel is aware of her abilities or not yet, so if she didn't, is she willing to go that far to know? Would she go to that extent to strengthen herself against her mothers weaknesses? To be fair, thats what Medardas do, do they not?

Im so desperate to know why Mel would wear similar to her mother, which is noxian war attire, we know Mel wants to part ways from her family, or at least part from their ideals and paths, so why would she suddenly change her course of action and head for that road?

I feel like she wouldn't do such a thing for the sake of going back, but has an intention to use it against Ambessa or against an enemy of hers/theirs.

Makes me curious too, as stretchy as this is, did she meet with Kindred??? Was she at a near-death experience like how Ambessa was?

If she's truly going back to Noxus, would she be a dictator like Ambessa?

I still HEAVILY believe that Black Rose/LeBlanc is the main enemy for the Medardas in s2, and we know that she can transform into ANYONE, right? What if that isn't even Mel, but LeBlanc? What if LeBlanc SPOKE to Mel as leverage to get to Ambessa? And Mel being probably vulnerable at that moment, allows herself to follow along?

Or, what if Mel knew about LeBlanc (in the timeline of season 2) , or has an idea of what her intentions are, and manipulates her way through, and kills two birds with one stone? LeBlanc is a master manipulator, but is Mel really that weak?

Mel, from my understanding, is not the type of character to make quick decisions and changes (like Jayce for example/non-neg). She thinks, about the present and the future, but when it comes to her family, the past always lingers in her mind, which is why it takes her so long to decide what to do. She tried endlessly to find a way around violence & war, past memories of such still haunt her, I don't think Mel would want to be a fighter, or one to accept a fight in such way.

That would be the final resort to something with no other solution. But there is always a CATCH to that.

In s1, Mel recommended the creation of hextech weaponry as an act of self defense, a final resort incase something happens, but is that REALLY just for protection against inner attacks? Elora mentioned to Mel that piltover looked vulnerable before that, do you think its ONLY their friends abroad who noticed? And immediately after she'd handed her the letter. Its safe to say Mel wasn't just preparing for Zauns bite, but the bites from outer threats. "I wanted to protect the city from people like you." Yeah, THAT was the catch, a stronger reason.

so if Mel went back to Noxus, or took Ambessas place, or just stood by her side, is it REALLY for her? Or is there some other thing affecting her descisions? Again, I don't think Mel would take off the ring, cover the painting of home with her color, go through this major character arc/development just to go sit in her mothers lap and let her caress her head because "nothing worked". That's genuinely not Mel, neither how it works ESPECIALLY in artistic fiction such as this.

Those things have SO many meanings, them being "erased" feels like poor writing, thats not what arcane does.

Mel is strong, she'd pushed and pushed and pushed so far for her ideals, her hopes and dreams, all of this is what makes her Mel. Even though she'd faced never-ending problems trying to find solutions, she still pushed herself so far. Is she willing to sacrifice herself after reaching such a point? Is the sacrifice worth it in the end? Will it benefit what she wants for her city and people? I don't think that's something she'd do UNLESS there's a catch to it that counters the effects.

To choose the Medardas path feels as if she weakened/gave up herself, shattered like glass, OR, she'd made herself stronger by being weak at the beginning, and gaining strength by the end to bend the rules, to understand the space to shift it. Which is why I don't think its permanent long-lasting decision, it's more of a "let it bleed until it stops, then bandage everything together well" sort of thing.

Mel is going suffer with her weaknesses in s2 like all of them will, that is important, but what really matters is that will she LEARN from her mistakes? Is she going to act upon said weaknesses?

They could quite literally make Mel end the Medarda problem without raising a hand if they wanted, or they could have her suffering in abseloute agony down in the basement (I hope not) 24/7, and there's still a space in between too.

Mel is probably the last heir of the Medarda clan, will she be able to break the cycle? Its all down in her hands, what is she going to do? What is she planning?

I still have so many questions, they never end, they're all ALLOVER the place, I literally can't even think straight, one minute I think of something, the other i think of something else. Its that crazy 😭

Part of me doesn't want to see Mel change, well, at least not a lot. change is very inevitable in the show and even the writers stated that in s2, the characters will be in the dark depths, but seeing the possible change of currents, drifting away from her core which made me love her so much is a little upsetting, but I will forever love her nonetheless, whatever she partakes in the future is for me to follow !!!!

Truth is, im scared, anxious, worried as all hells, all the characters are going through various changes, we already know how viktor is going to change, going against his previous dreams. Him slowly coming to an acceptance with death, only to become something that isn't even close to a living being at all. His dream to help the undercity lead him to do harsh things to them, which is unfortunately the only way he knows to help. Mel, who parallels Viktor, is she ought to fall into the same fate? Or is the parallel going to be opposite of what he has become? If he is going back to Zaun, his homeland, doing all of these things, will she go back to her own? And do something similar? Or will she stay in piltover and continue to pursue the approach of Mercy and peace?

How will this affect her relationship with others? What would Jayce think? Elora? The remaining council? Most of all, Ambessa?

I don't want all of the answers to these questions, but I just hope some of them get answered, I have high hopes for s2, i can't wait to see if anyone's theories turn out correct or close to cannon!

UT Sans - Vanilla

Expect a lot ,and I mean a lot of animal puns.Its not just exclusive to Snow Leopards.Just puns in general.To be fair that isn’t any different from normal and that is exactly what happens.He doesn’t change.He loves his S/O either way.No matter what they are or what they identify as.

UT Papyrus - Paps

He has a bunch of questions! He wants to know all about it! What can he do to make you comfortable? Do need extra stuff? Can he join?!He just LOVES learning new stuff and about new things.A very kind,curious and respectful skeleton is what he aspires to be along with being the great and popular papyrus.He also gets bans animal print in the house Incase it makes you sad.If you tell him he doesn’t need to do that or that it doesn’t bother you he still doesn’t allow it saying ‘ITS A CRIME AGAINST NATURE AND FASHION!!’.

(Kind,curious and respectful are not added on to the the title of ‘The great papyrus’ as it may become to long and he believes having to long of a name makes him less popular and more boring.He uses and I quote ‘Those Big Science Words, Sans Sometimes Says In The Middle Of A Sentence’.)

US Sans - Blue

Putting it very bluntly.He didn’t understand at first.It isn’t until S/O sits down and explains it to him he sorta understands.After a while he does get it! Expect loads of gifts.He wants you comfy all the time always.And if you’re not he will fix it.

US Papyrus - Honey

Being as online he is.He knows what being a Therian is.He even researched it by himself.He finds what some of the Therians do with the masks really cool and wants to make one himself! Fun fact! Honey really likes the sun,for a skeleton who is always in a hoodie you can catch him just basking in the sun.Does he have a basking partner now?

UF Sans - Red

One thing him and Edge can agree with is that cats are epic.Aside from Doomfanger who Red is convicted is a demon straight from hell.He to asks a bunch of questions rather on if there is anything he can get that will make you feel like your self.If anyone,human or monster judges S/O…trust they will be sorted out…..very…swiftly.

UF Papyrus - Edge

Edge is a major cat person.Big cats.Small cats.Jellicle cats.He loves them all.You have no idea how happy he is for you.You would never think a guy like Edge would get giddy over something like this but he does.Be prepared for the Crazy cat skeleton fawning even more over you then normal.

HT Sans - Seaweed

It makes him actually think of himself.Due to his time in the underground, he acts more wolf like.Doing what it takes to survive and once on the surface,he went from Feral Skeleton with a hole in his skull to domesticated puppy skeleton who just loves being held.Please hold him.Cuddle and nuzzle together.Go to each other for warmth.Share from the same plate???.Its his dream.

HT Papyrus - Papaya

His curious nature never left him.But his question are more along the lines of’Do you need anything?’ ‘Anything I can do to make you more comfortable?’ ‘Do you want to curl up on my lap? You can if you want!’.Takes extra care in making sure you are as comfortable as you can be!.Although at first he did think S/O was going to be a bit like Seaweed…with stealing food…He to has seen ‘Therian masks’ and asks if he can make one for you if you want? Or anything else you need!
