the buddie playlist, pigeonxp edition.
for a smidge of context, some of the songs are not specifically buddie coded to me. some of the songs can be considered specifically eddie or specifically buck coded, such as My Kink is Karma, which i (in the context of this playlist) consider eddie specific. there are a few like this but the majority is buddie specific.
as another mention, this is my opinion only, hence the title. i am open to suggestions to this playlist and it is always ready to be added to.

I said louis' ENTIRE career bc if u actually read the quote from Matt he was talking about while others succeed via radio play and charting and album sales louis just sells tickets and merch so they'll focus on that which, in my opinion and I guess for those who reblogged, is a very poor and unsustainable strategy, other people aren't focusing on radio play or exposure bc they're stupid but bc thats the way to grow your fanbase !!! no fanbase can self sustain itself forever and remain the same size forever if there's no new influx of people every once in a while! people get tired or change tastes it's normal! there needs to be an healthy exchange especially when some fans have been here for a decade already!! I just think his team counts of sitting back and enjoying the profits for the foreseeable future without even doing the work which will backfire eventually. also it's such a waste bc louis' music , especially ooms could be so successful if it was in the right hands
I agree with your basic premise that if Lou’s fan base never grows Lou won’t still be able to tour in 10 years. I see a lot of people still pining over lost opportunities to push more pop leaning songs, including the leaked version of Lucky Again that we don’t even know will be on the album, so I think there will be fan attrition. Where I disagree is the idea that the pop methodology you outlined is the only way to grow a fanbase. Artists outside of the pop arena do it all the time. Of course it would help for Lou to get on alternative radio and playlists and get to play festivals. That’s the big disadvantage coming out of a boyband. Lou lacks credibility with the people gatekeeping those structures and will need to work to gain it. The advantages of coming out of a boyband the size of 1D is existing fan support and money to invest in a career change.
I feel like Matt has been an advocate for Louis though all of that and most importantly when Lou didn’t for once have to continue to do promo after Fizzy’s death. Louis’s reputation and public image have steadily improved since Matt came on board. That includes Lou’s reputation as a live performer. The livestreams and tour did wonders to counter suggestions Lou is a poor live performer and built Lou’s confidence in that area too. The AFHF has been a really unique way of bringing indie people to Lou and hopefully fulfilling other wants like supporting early career artists and getting invitations to play festivals.
I think Lou’s career is still a work in progress but it seems like it’s at its highest point at the moment. I don’t think Matt is the primary driver either. I think a lot of the decisions and results stem from Lou’s ideas and who Lou is. They seem like a good partnership to me.
I think they are doing the work but it’s just not quite what fans expect. They are putting in the effort that Harry abandoned for a quick buck. Also most artists make their money from merch and touring not from revenue from record sales. At least not unless they are a legacy artist with a deep back catalogue. The jury is still out, but I am cautiously optimistic at the moment.

Album Review: Confetti by Little Mix
Tumblr media
During one of the bleakest years in human history, Little Mix has delivered us pure joy and happiness in the form of their sixth studio album: CONFETTI. I became a fan of Little Mix, a Mixer is what we’re called, a few years ago when I clicked on one of my coworker’s Spotify playlists. The first song of theirs I can recall listening to is “F.U.” from their fourth album Glory Days. After looking up their other albums I then ventured over to YouTube so I could watch a few of their music videos. I instantly fell in love with the choreo-heavy “Touch” and the slumber party-themed “Hair”. I then started looking at their live performances and I was blown away. For me, Little Mix is everything I ever wanted out of Fifth Harmony. Now before I get some hate, Fifth Harmony is/was a great pop group and without them we wouldn’t have Normani, but whereas some of the girls in Fifth Harmony are/were more vocally talented than others, each of the members of Little Mix - Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie - have amazing voices and those voices blend together so perfectly.
I’m so glad I discovered Little Mix when I did because it gave me enough time to binge their albums, music videos and live performances just in time for their fifth studio album LM5 to drop. If I had to rank the albums prior to CONFETTI, LM5 would definitely be at the top of my list. Realistically-speaking, the album didn’t perform as well as their other albums but the album is damn near perfect in my opinion. I then later learned the girls were going through a separation with their then-record label Syco which is a major factor in why the album didn’t perform as well as it could.
CONFETTI is Little Mix’s first album since leaving Syco so many of us were very much looking forward to what the girls were going to deliver without having Simon Cowell standing on their neck. Our first taste of a newly emancipated Little Mix came in the form of the 80′s-inspired “Break Up Song”. They released their second single “Holiday” in the middle of the summer and their third single “Sweet Melody” was released a few weeks ahead of the album’s November 6 release. Being in the United States, I stayed up past midnight so I can listen to the album and since it’s release it’s been in heavy rotation on Spotify. I thought it would be fun to review the album and rate each of the tracks. There are 13 tracks on CONFETTI and I will be giving my thoughts on each track as well as a score based on a scale of 10. For those of you reading this, keep in mind, I am one of way too many Little Mix fans to count so if there are tracks that you like that I do not rate as high, just remember this is my opinion so forgive me, HAHA. Without further ado, here’s my review of CONFETTI:
BREAK UP SONG: The first track on the album is also the album’s first single. Break Up Song is not only a total vibe, it’s a total 80s vibe. I was delightfully surprised when Little Mix released this song earlier this year. I love that this song is yet another reminder of just how freakin’ talented these ladies are. My favorite part of the track is Jade’s bridge towards the end of the song. The song is bright and fun and I simply cannot resist busting out some serious 80s dance moves every time the song comes on.  Rating: 10/10
HOLIDAY: While Break Up Song gives up 80s pop vibes, Holiday sticks its toes in the contemporary pop pool. It makes sense that this song was released smack dab in the middle of the summer because it is the perfect summer jam. I especially love the accompanying music video which features the girls luxuriating in a spa somewhere on the moon or maybe Mars. It’s sugary and sweet and just like Break Up Song it’s one of those songs you can’t resist dancing to. It should be noted Holiday is the second single off of CONFETTI and it is one of my top 3 favorite tracks off the album. Rating: 10/10
SWEET MELODY: When I first heard the reggaeton-infused Sweet Melody, my initial reaction was meh. Thank God I listened to the song again ... and again ... and again ... because on the second, third and fourth listening, I realized just how truly epic this song is. The lyrics are quite brilliant with my favorite being the Perrie-led second verse: “He would lie, he would cheat, over syncopated beats.” Not only is the song a banger, the music video is one of the best visuals Little Mix has ever released. The choreography is fire and you can tell they put their blood, sweat, tears and spinal cord into their dancing. Sweet Melody is my favorite track on CONFETTI. Rating: 10/10
CONFETTI: Prior to the release of CONFETTI, this track was made available. This song gives me late-90s/early-2000s R&B vibes and I quite enjoy it. It doesn’t hit as nearly as hard as Sweet Melody but this is yet another song I can picture being played in a club. If Little Mix releases any more singles from this album, which I believe they should, I think Confetti is a strong contender. I imagine the music video will be very heavy on the choreo.  Rating: 9/10
HAPPINESS: Category Is: Songs That Could Have Been Released By Britney Spears in the Early 2000s. Happiness is yet another track that was released ahead of the album. Unlike the first three tracks of the album which are very much songs about relationships, past and present, Happiness is the self-empowerment anthem we never knew we needed, especially in the year of our Lord 2020. Happiness is a splashy pop song but it doesn’t elicit the strong emotions I felt when listening to Break Up Song or Sweet Melody.  Rating: 9/10
NOT A PROP SONG: One of the things I like about Little Mix is every so often they’ll release an acoustic version of their popular songs, i.e., Black Magic, Touch, Holiday. This song is acoustic rock and it is not a sound I was ever expecting from Little Mix. If there was a sequel to National Manthem, it would be Not a Pop Song. I like to think of this as Little Mix’s emancipation proclamation after fleeing the clutches of one Simon Cowell. My favorite lyric from the song is in the chorus: “No more singing songs bout breaking my heart or my lonely nights dancing in the dark.” I absolutely adore this song and it gives me early Kelly Clarkson vibes.  Rating: 10/10
NOTHING BUT MY FEELINGS: This song from beginning to end is an absolute treat. I love how lowkey the song starts off and after the chorus, you assume the song is going to keep amping up but at the start of the second verse it goes back to being lowkey again. I love a song that keeps me guessing. I especially love the theme of the song, the struggle of wanting to keep things super casual with someone when deep down you are developing strong feelings for them even though you know you shouldn’t. If there was any doubt the ladies of Little Mix are not grown, this is proof. Rating: 9/10
GLOVES UP: One thing I like doing whenever a new album by one of my favorite artists is released is heading over to YouTube and watching people’s reaction the albums. It seem likes Gloves Up is a favorite off of this album and I just don’t get it. I don’t like to skip tracks, especially on Little Mix albums, but admittedly this is the one I’m tempted to skip when I’m listening to CONFETTI. I like the message but the song is a bit cliché. I hope that repeatedly listening of this track will make me like it, especially since I have a very strong feeling this is going to end up being a single. Rating: 6/10
A MESS (HAPPY 4 U): If Break Up Song had a sequel it would be this track. I love the lyrics and I love the instrumentation. It’s a gorgeous track and again something unexpected from Little Mix. I love Jade’s falsetto on this track.  Rating: 9/10
MY LOVE WON’T LET YOU DOWN: I feel like in addition to giving us great dance bops, Little Mix also delivers when it comes to ballads. The gospel-tinged My Love Won’t Let You Down is absolutely gorgeous and will be the perfect closing song on one of their tours. There are Little Mix songs where I think, wow, I’d love to see what the music video would look like and then there are Little Mix songs where I think, wow, I’d love to see how they’d perform this. This track is definitely of the latter variety. All four of our queen’s vocals are on point.  Rating: 10/10
RENDEZVOUS: Remember how I said there are three songs on this album that are my favorite? Sweet Melody is my fave track on the album and Rendezvous is my second-favorite. Rendezvous is sexy and sleek and reminds me of something Ciara would’ve released early on in her career. I also love that it samples the song Sway. I cannot wait to see how they perform this song on tour and I would love for this to be a future single because I would love to see Little Mix turn up the sex on one of their songs. This song reminds me of Notice for some reason from LM5. When Little Mix does sexy, the do sexy right! Rating: 10/10
IF YOU WANT MY LOVE: Like Gloves Up, If You Want My Love is another meh track on this album which sucks because it’s literally sandwiched between two perfect songs on the album. Perhaps this is another one I’ll have to keep listening to in hopes that it will grow on me. Right now I’m feeling pretty blasé about the track. Rating: 6/10
BREATHE: Yay! We get not just one ballad on CONFETTI but two! This is the perfect close to a pretty awesome Little Mix album. I’m happy to report the album ends as strong as it begins. Of the two ballads, I prefer My Love Won’t Let You Down but that shouldn’t suggest I don’t like this song. I love it and it’s another one I’d love to see performed live. Rating: 10/10
ALBUM OVERALL RATING: 9

Crimson anon here, thank you for the music recs! 🥺 You have great tastes and I'm in awe tbh. How do you find smaller artists omg I'd like to have some tips if you're okay with it
crimson anon!! hi, how are you?? i’m so happy that you enjoyed the songs! thank you so so much, i’m so flattered that you like my music taste 🥺 & you’re so so welcome, it was so much fun to do yours!
but yes i absolutely have some tips (actually i was just thinking about this today so i really feel like the universe was preparing me for this ask) for what works for me in discovering smaller artists/new music:
first i think it really helps if you have spotify. there are a lot of really good “new music” discovery mechanisms that i use, including:
each week there’s a “discover weekly” playlist that’s created based on the algorithm’s analysis of the music that you play during the week
every monday i go through my entire “discover weekly” playlist & pick songs that i like to either add to playlists or save
after you create playlists on spotify, there’s a mechanism that suggests “more like this”, so you can go through and listen to somewhat similar music (i find the recommendations to be pretty inaccurate, at least to the way i create playlists)
there are also 5 daily mixes (playlists, essentially) that are created based on the artists of songs you currently have saved (i don’t utilize this much)
spotify comes with lots of interesting websites that will analyze your music taste and give you recommendations like obscurify
BUT there are also lots of methods for finding new music/artists without spotify
youtube
i spend a good amount of time on youtube & a way i’ve been able to discover new artists & music is just through clicking on interesting music videos or videos in general
i usually go off titles or artist names that i found interesting/haven’t heard before
movies/shows
if i like a song or a snippet of a song in a show or a movie, i pretty immediately go look for the song & save it
sometimes the whole song isn’t as good but it’s nice to check
i usually use tunefind, but sometimes you gotta go old fashioned & just google lyrics
daily life
if i hear a song i like at the store or in someone’s car etc., i’ll pretty immediately shazam it (i use the feature on snapchat, but it’s not great)
also: i think it really helps that i never listen to the radio. i haven’t listened to music on the radio for quite a few years, & i think that helps push me towards lesser known artists
sorry this was probably WAY more information than you wanted, but i hope it’s able to help! i’m so so excited for you to discover new music & smaller artists 🥰 best of luck!! if you ever have any other questions or just wanna chat, my ask box is always open & it would make my day ♡
general content taglist: @oyakags (u really making me SOFT w this ily)
if you want to be tagged in my general content (tips like this, playlists, writing) send me an ask or message!

Please god do you have recommendations on the best series to watch
Some of my personal recomendations that I can list from the top of my head, I will be writing a lot of text below so hold onto your horses.
My Life- NatalieFirexx
Still running to this day and in its 12th season. So amazing to see the growth over the years. The first seasons are so funny in a sense of knowing a little Christian emo kid made them, but later seasons have developed into such an interesting story with beautiful visuals, incredible cinematography and relationships that you end up caring about so deeply. Every season has a new storyline to follow and it's always so wild remembering all that's happened in its 10 year run and thinking up what else is to come. Though season 12 is said to be it's final season and I look forward to seeing what Natalie has in store for us after the finale.
The story of My Life follows the Andrews family and their friends in everyday shenanigans, you know, the usual: teen pregnancy, kidnapping, vampires, murder, identity theft, angels, ghosts, hacked kids and love.
(There's also a My Life Abridged voice acting series of season 1 currently in the works, now at episode 5)
Smooth Criminal - SaltPepperSims1408
I always have fun rewatching this. Its only 2 seasons long and once again, a sims series that evolved over it's run. Following Abby as her life goes from normal (if you can call your illegal scientist parents experimenting on criminals in your basement normal) to having visions of her parent's test subject's past and joining his gang where hes the leader and battles a disease that gives him 10x the strength and intelligence of a regular human being. Catch is, this genetic disease is rare and makes you go insane. Most people with it end up insane by 30.
A series with a lot of guns, a badass female main protag, death, once again, teen pregnancy (which will be a common sims series theme), fun dream/vision sequences and in my opinion has a great sense of humour.
SaltPepperSims1408 also has a highly recommended voice over series (though incomplete) titled Apokalypsis, a group of young adults/teens trying to survive in an apocalypse.
CINDER - GrayLeeStudios
Based on the book CINDER by Marissa Meyer. Cinder is a beautifully made voice over series, great visuals, wonderfully told it's story, though it is incomplete at 5 episodes, each running 10-18 minutes. Loosely based on the original Cinderella story but in a futuristic Beijing, adding robots, a colonization on the moon and a deadly plague that has affected the Emperor.
The protagonist is the mechanic, Lihn Cinder. Despite how well known her work as a mechanic is, she is looked down on for being a cyborg and is presented for plague research where she and Prince Kai become closer.
Y O U T H - 1998sims
YOUTH is a retelling of Youth, also a sims series by the same creator that reached its second season before discontinuing. Already a series that dealt with real life issues and involved a lot of representation in its characters. YOUTH is a different experience with all new characters, even more representation and everyone still feeling real in a way where their identities don't define them but are in NO WAY erased at all, like they're real people. When comparing the two series you can see the similar storyline but now its so much fresher and with new characters, their decisions in these situations change. Follows the story of multiple characters in their teen years and learning to deal with being a teen or in some cases having to make adult decisions despite that. Currently up to episode 5 but there is still so much more to come.
1998sims is also the creator behind Avoiding Fate, Its Complicated (currently not available online) and the most iconic series that I HIGHLY suggest you watch; My Sims 2 Emo Teen Pregnancy Kidnapping Story
SOUP - SimFilm
This sims 3 voice over series is brand new, as of this month, with one episode released but I'm already in love with it. It has this deadpan sense of humour I can get behind and I'm really looking forward to seeing where it goes. It appears the episodes will be short and sweet but I really don't mind at all.
Our protagonist, Harris Gold, alphabetizes his life's misfortunes like a can of alphabet soup.
I quote "looks pretty decent on the outside, but when you open the can, you'll simply want to kill yourself"
The filming is wonderful, I love the voice actors and how well they play their roles, the story so far is fun and silly but deals with really strong issues other teenagers might have experienced growing up. Kind of like laughing the pain away and I adore it.
Raison D'etre - Cornymio
I haven't watched a lot of sims 4 machinima if im to be honest (since life to death stories are so rampant on YouTube at the moment and I'd rather just avoid them) but this series was very well made. Only 2 episodes but the voice acting is amazing, the sims custom animations are wonderful and at times the sims can be almost perfectly lip synced to the voices. Has an indie film vibe that I adore, very calming and I adore the camera work. This is a revamp of the creators old Sims 3 series by the same title.
Reine Reynolds enrols herself into a new school, here we meet a variety of students who are all relatable in one way or another with different relationships amongst themselves. A nice watch and won't take long to get through.
Marry Me! - Tickled007
This is actually a companion piece to Marry You by Maot Productions. Marry You has more episodes and progressed it's story much further but personal preference I like Marry Me!'s characters and humour better. Not a fault to the creators though, since I believe they wrote both stories together and I do still recommend you go watch Marry You as well, just my personal taste. I also watched this very recently which is probably why it's on my mind rn.
Marry Me! Is a 2 episode long (so far) voice over series that's quite high energy, it's about a loud "bitch" fashion designer called Serafie and a "pushover" called Carmion. Two opposites that somehow cross paths and after a money hiccup, Seraphie demands that Carmion marry her. I love how silly it is, very kdrama inspired. If you can get past the overused swooping sfx in episode one (which drove me insane but will go away in episode 2) I think it's super enjoyable.
Tickled007 is also the creator of Passcode Unknown, Too Popular and And... Obvious.
I feel it unfair not to mention Maot Productions other creations either since they were also a big part of the Marry Me! Marry You project. They created Sense Me Not!, Corrupted Souls, Cruel Temptation and Retribution
Other simmers and their series that I highly recommend but realise this ask is going to get extremely long
EkolarasMagnum
Their series tend to have this grungy highschool feel to them but I get behind it. They're known for their more interesting sims style, some people love it, some people hate it but it shouldn't get in the way of the interesting stories. I used to adore their work so much as a teenager!
- Advocated
- Strangers
- Volatile
PumpkinsAtTheDisco
Made a variety of sims series based on books (before these same books were made into films) such as the Hunger Games. This creator is incredibly talented from filming, writing to composing their own music. You can really see their improvement over the years too. I love their work.
- The Hunger Games
- Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children
- Dimension 17
- Post Icarus
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
StarsToShinex
Their concepts are fun and they have good voice actors. Their filming and editing is nice but their work does have an anime feel if that's more your taste.
- Spotlight
- My guardian
- My guardian- the next chapter
- Seeking Faith
- The last day
MajesticFilms
Their aesthetics are lovely, they make a lot of visually pleasing machinima. I admire their editing.
- Paper Boats
- Arsonist's Lullaby
- Sounds of Silence
- Machinima playlist
ViNtAgELovv11
Still works on videos now and I adore their work, been around for 10 years and only continuing to improve. I believe their most known series wou lkd have to be wasteland but please check out their newer works too!
- Scum City
- Wasteland
- Wonderland
- Runaway
- ROADS
There are so much more and i might make a pt.2 or something along those lines one day since this ask is getting long. But I also have a list of simmers and series on my navigation page if you want to search through some more works.

warm summer nights - playlist for anon
this playlist includes a lot of 'loud songs' and songs that generally give off the summer vibe. artists that appear a lot kn this playlist are: the chats and lovejoy! i included to two songs you suggested as something to go off of, and a lot of the music is taken from my own personal playlists as we seem to have similae tastes (so i didn't have to do much searching.)
songs!
feels like summer - childish gambino
this song was mentioned by anon as a song to go off of :]
i'll cover you - the rent musical soundtrack
this song comes from the musical rent (which i heavily reccomend). fun fact! this song and the musical actually takes place in winter, but personally i think it could be any season. it gives me a warm feeling.
knee deep at apt - los campesinos, cover by lovejoy
the original version of this song and the cover i chose give offvery different vibes. the one i chose is slow and quiet for most of the song until the end where it explodes in colour if you will. it reminds me of the colour orange and laying down in the grass to enjoy some nice music.
perfume - lovejoy
like most songs in lovejoys album pebble brain, this song is energetic and loud but not too loud. this song has a lot of guitars and drums and gives off the feeling of reckless behavior in the early morning, like doing stupid shit if you will.
so alright, cool, whatever - the happy fits
this artists music on general is the same realm of happy-guitar with good lyrics and the fast paced action of life as lovejoy. it gives off a summer crush, a hopeless romantic if you get what i mean? its very cute, but not like cutesy, cute as in "wow, thats some passion thrown into that song! and a lot of passion! "
bus money - the chats
again this is a loud song filled with thoughtless reckless actions. the whole song is at base level about wasting your money and not being able to afford actual things you need- which is pretty reckless. much like perfume, it feels like summer nights.
drunk n' disorderly - the chats
i think the title of this song is self explanatory. its about getting wasted and generally just a good song to jam to. really summer-y, i guess.
concrete - lovejoy
once again, lovejoys pebble brain finds itself in this playlist! this is very obviously much like perfume. relationship problems is a big theme in this song and again, much like the rest of the album, gives off really shitty reckless summer nights. its an energetic and annoyed song, if you get what i mean.
oh yeah, you gonna cry? - lovejoy
this song makes me want to jump up and down and run around my house. this guy is just making fun of this guy whose dating his ex and it's just all around a really good song that feels like it could be from some enemies to lovers love story. and it may sound like im repeating myself, but im not lying when i say it sounds like summer.
left right - the chats
alot of this song reminds me of boring shit you gotta do during the summer, and then just wanting to do something /fun/. idk how to explain it, but it fits.
how many do you do - the chats
this song starts slow, but very quickly becomes faster- and louder. with drums and just generally banging sounds in it, its very good. it feels like doing really really idiotic stuff with your friends. maybe getting high with them.
cold weather - glass beach
this song in general is just the embodiment of summer. its fast, its slows, its loud and quiet. it has a bit kf everything. and may or may not also be a love song.
fell in love with a girl - the white stripes
the song was mentioned kn the request, so i added it! its a very good song.
hope u enjoy the playlist ^^

College!Jin
I wanna say a h u g e thank you for 4,100 followers!!! It means so so so much to me and it made my day and now I’m really :D but I have been meaning to do the college series for so long, I think it was one of my first requests so why not do it now for 4,100 plus I’ve been wanting to do this for a while so to start us off as he always does is the first half of Namjin, the king of dad jokes, a talented bundle of cute who is s o sweet like he takes care of the boys so much and he’s always so gentle and kind and goofy with the Army and I love him so much, Kim Seokjin aka Jin
This is gonna continue off of high school!Jin (here) which is the part two to the teenager!Jin post (here) the hs post focused more on what he’s like in school while the teen post is more about the romantic side
Those posts featured youtuber!Jin (here) to sum it up, he has a cooking/food channel, there’s also a drabble called Flour (here) that features college!Jin
He would major in cooking
He would love learning about the different countries and their foods, he loves Italian food, he loved learning about French food, Greek food, all the food
He’s really cute about it and he goes out and buys a special binder with all of the recipes he learns in class or finds through his studying and he has them arranged by country to help him differentiate them
He’s also got a couple rating systems going on, he has them rated from 1 to 10 based on how difficult or easy they are to make and then he has them rated from 1 to 5 stars based on their taste
He loves making videos on them bc then people that have grown up with these recipes can share their memories of the food and maybe suggest different options for how to make it based on how their family had made it
That’s one of the reasons Jin loves cooking so much, he loves how just seeing a dish can provoke so many memories
He also loves being able to record his progress bc just a year into it, he’s already grown so much and looking back on the video he made after his first class, he just smiles bc he was so new
He was so excited about all the new terms he’d learned and he kept using them during the video bc he was so happy about it, nowadays he actually explains what each cut is, what each term he uses means but during that first video he was too !!! he felt so professional
He makes an entire playlist for his “College Food” videos, which is a series where he takes really nice fancy recipes he learns in class and makes them affordable and easier to cook so that non-cooking majors can make them too
He does a few mukbangs (or eating shows) bc Eat Jin is one of my favorite things and every time there’s a new Eat Jin it just makes my day
In his mukbangs, he talks a lot about college life and classes and his teachers and he’s just really relatable
But he does take other classes of course, he takes the essential classes as well as a few fun classes
I read somewhere that Jin majored in film arts?? (idk if it’s true but it’s just what I read) so he would take a couple classes in that and a few in music
He would prefer taking handwritten notes over digital notes
He tries bringing his laptop in during one of his classes but he forgets to charge it prior to the class (him and kookie had been playing games all night) and the laptop runs out of battery mid-class so he takes that as a sign that it’s just better to write the notes out and then type them out later on if he wants them printed
He doesn’t study every single day but he does try to make sure he has more than a week before finals to study bc he doesn’t really enjoy all nighters, they’re so stressful to him, of course sometimes he’s gotta do it but if he can avoid it, he will
He takes his education really seriously and if he has to spend the weekend with his nose in a book, he’ll do it if it means he can get that extra hour of sleep
He’s never late to classes, in all of his semesters at college, he’s only ever been late once or twice but he had legitimate excuses, like his car not starting or losing his phone on the way over
He doesn’t get there too early, except during the first few weeks of classes bc that’s when the most students are there so he has to get there earlier to pick out the seat he wants, but he’s always there at least five to ten minutes before the class starts
He likes to sit towards the front of the class, he doesn’t have to be in the first row but he doesn’t like sitting in the back, it’s too far away from the board/teacher and sometimes you can’t see and/or hear everything and it just doesn’t work for him
Almost always buddies up with the boys during classes, he convinces at least one of them to take the class with him, except for the cooking classes
Namjoon does walk him to class one day and he comes in bc he has thirty minutes before his next class and Jin’s class doesn’t start for another five minutes so he gets Jin to show him some cutting techniques and Jin’s teacher is just concerned for both of their safety, especially joon’s bc that’s not how you hold an onion when you cut it
Okay but from what I remember, Jin wears prescription glasses so plZ just imagine a super soft Jin with glasses and a sweater making dinner bc he really wants you to try this new recipe he learned
He’s got those shoulders that are so lovely and he’s humming along with the music that’s playing and everything smells so good, he’s smelling good the food smells amazing and it’s just comforting to be able to sit on the counter and watch him cook and help wherever you can
The apartment you two have isn’t huge but it isn’t super tiny either, it has one bedroom and a pretty decently sized kitchen (which is the main reason Jin wanted it) and then a living room area and it’s really homey
He always has his binder of recipes on top of the fridge and he buys a lil white board so he can make grocery lists as he goes along
He also has an apron that he always wears when he cooks and it most definitely says “kiss the cook” and he always asks for a kiss before he starts cooking bc he’s cute like that
College!Jin is a hard worker who has such a love and passion for his major and he’s so happy with his channel and his school and his relationship and just everything bc happy!Jin is so so important
