got7 - meeting the family
Tumblr media
Pairing: Got 7 x Reader | Genre: fluff | Warnings: mentions of anxiety | WC: 2.1k
Tumblr media
im jaebeom
Tumblr media
Your grip on the edge of the car seat was so tight that Jaebeom could see your knuckles and fingers turning white. He couldn’t help when his lips quirked up a little bit; you looked cute.
“What if they don’t like me?” You asked as you took one of his hands in yours without thinking about it. He squeezed back gently, shaking his head as his thumb pad brushed over the top of your knuckles gently.
“They’ll love you, I’m sure of it,” You turned to him and while he knew you nervous to meet his family, especially his parents, he couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at how horrified you looked.
“It’s not funny, Jae! What if I say something wrong? Or what if I forget someone’s name? What if-,” He cut you off with a small peck to your lips before you could say anymore nonsense.
“They’ll love you because I love you and I’m happy. Now, come on. I don’t think my dad will like having to wait to eat.”
You got of the car and gripped his hand tighter, your nerves exploding but you did your best and had a smile plastered on your face as he rang the bell.
“Relax baby, everything is going to be okay,” He whispered in your ear and just like always, the sound of his voice helped you to relax a little.
Turns out, you were worried for nothing because his mom pulled you into one of the biggest hugs you’d ever received and you two ended up talking the whole time. She felt like your mom and you forgot that you were meeting Jaebeom’s parents. He could only smile, hand brushing over the velvet box in his pocket.  All he needed was his parents approval and he knew he had it watching the way you and them talked and laughed.
He’d be getting down on one knee very soon and that’s a look he wanted to see on your face.

mark tuan
Tumblr media
You were extremely nervous to be in foreign country. A language you could barely speak, let alone understand on top of meeting Mark’s large family was enough to have your nerves going haywire. You had been bouncing your leg up and down for the last fifteen minutes as you waited for them to arrive at the restaurant.
He smiled at you as he placed one of his hand on your thigh. You looked back at him and felt instantly calm, “They’re not that scary, I promise,” He said as squeezed the skin on your thigh gently right before his face lit up when he saw his parents walk through the door followed by his siblings.
“Y/N, this is my mom and dad,” He said to which you stood up and his mom instantly wrapped you in a hug. He didn’t even get a chance to introduce you to his siblings as they pulled you away and started gushing over Mark when he was little. In true parent fashion, his mom had brought his baby book to show you photos. While he was embarrassed, you found yourself feeling extremely welcomed into their family and Mark couldn’t wait to officially make you a part of it.
Tumblr media
park jinyoung
Tumblr media
Jinyoung didn’t seem nervous as you drove the last few minutes to your parents house. He was talking to you like normal, even teasing here and there. Althogh, you knew Jinyoung; you hadn’t been dating for over a year just to not know what his quirks were. You could see how he kept adjusting his shirt even though it was already perfect or how he kept brushing imaginary lint off his pants every now and then.
You pulled up to your parents house and grabbed his hand as you leaned over to give him a small kiss on the cheek, “Don’t be nervous. They are going to love you.”
He could only scoff at your words as he got out of the car and puffed his chest out and plastering his signature smirk on his face, “I don’t get nervous,” He said to which you just rolled your eyes with a small smile.
Jinyoung was even the gentlemen, hugging your mom and kissing her hand, a firm handshake with your father. He even played a few games with your younger siblings while you helped get dinner ready.
While he never would admit it, you knew he was terrified when you had first brought this up. Looking at him now, you could never tell with how he was laughing until the orbs of his eyes were almost non-existent. He looked up at you and smiled, quickly going back to the game once your sister had whined about him not paying attention.
That’s when you knew that you’d give anything to keep Park Jinyoung in your life for the rest of your life.
Tumblr media
jackson wang
Tumblr media
You were currently seated with your arms and legs crossed, refusing to look at your boyfriend of two years.
“Baby, come on. It’ll be fine,” He said to which you only scoffed, not wanting to talk to him.
Jackson had not told you that your impromptu trip to China consisted of meeting his family. Sure, you had known that’s where they obviously lived and you would have been totally fine with it if you weren’t currently dressed in your gray sweatpants and one of Jackson’s long-sleeved shirts with your hair thrown up in a top knot and no makeup on. You still had your slippers on and your socks didn’t even match! He had conveniently failed to mention that his mom had asked for him to bring you by today to meet her and his dad officially.
“I can’t believe you, Jackson Wang! What kind of first impression is this?” You yelled as you pointed down at your outfit. All he did in response was offer you a sickeningly sweet smile that you wanted nothing more to slap off his face at the moment.
“The best kind! They’ll see the real you,” You only rolled your eyes, too infuriated with the man next to you to respond.
He pulled up at a house that you assumed was his parents and you slammed the car door, stomping up to the front door without even waiting for him and ringing the bell. Jackson was a little shocked, expecting that your nerves would have kicked in, but that’s why he did this in part, if you were mad enough or feeling something else, you wouldn’t let your nerves get the best of you. His dad opened the door and before he could speak you were holding your hand out.
“Hello, Mr. Wang. I’m L/N Y/N, the girlfriend of your buffoon of son and soon to be, his murderer,” His father laughed, shaking your hand and pulling you inside and Jackson just stood there with his mouth hung open. He was glad your nerves didn’t kick in, but he was a little scared of what was going to happen when you both returned to the hotel.
Especially when his mom offered to show how to make his favorite pastry and you happily agreed while giving him the evil eye.
Tumblr media
choi youngjae
Tumblr media
You were surprisingly not as nervous as you thought you’d be to meet his family for the first time. It had been something he brought up months ago after you two had talked about it. He wanted to meet your family too, but they lived in another country, so you’d have to wait until you both had time to travel there. When he had suggested you to meet his family, you had instantly agreed and were more than excited. You wanted to know the people who had raised the man you love, see where he got his dashingly good looks from and understand more of his little quirks.
So, here you were, seated in his car only mere minutes away from arriving at his family’s home.
“You alright? You’ve been pretty quiet the past few minutes,” Youngjae asked worriedly to which you nodded with a bright smile.
“I’m just excited and don’t want to come off overbearing so, I’m trying to dial it back.”
Youngjae chuckled before kissing your cheek and getting out of the car to come around to meet you, “They’ll love it, trust me,” You nodded in understanding but still kept your excitement down enough until you knew for sure.
Once his mom had opened the door, she immediately wrapped you in a warm hug to which you let that crumble away and started talking her ear off. She seemed to like that because she didn’t even greet her son or give Youngjae a chance to introduce you to everyone. She had simply linked your arms together and pulled you through the house, both of you talking animatedly.
Youngjae could only smile as his dad let out a low chuckle, “Must be pretty amazing for your mother to forget to hug her own son,” Youngjae laughed along with him, following him inside, eyes still trained on your back as you continued to talk with his mom.
“Absolutely she’s more than I could ever ask for. She makes me happy.”
Tumblr media
bambam
Tumblr media
You were more anxious than nervous to meet BamBam’s siblings and mom. He had told you stories upon stories about all of them for the past year you’d been dating. You had briefly met some of them when he went to Thailand for a wedding, but you hadn’t been able to stay long as you were there for work. This time around, you were there without any work and had all the time to meet them and get to know them.
You were anxious because while you knew from his stories his mom was extremely sweet and caring and supportive of not just BamBam, but all her kids, you also knew she was a mamma bear. She had a large personality, in a good way, and didn’t sugarcoat things. So, you knew if she didn’t like you, you’d hear it and that’s what made you anxious.
“Why are you so tense, baby?” BamBam questioned as he placed his hands on your shoulders, rubbing his thumb pads into your shoulder blades. You closed your eyes and relaxed, leaning your head back on his stomach as he kissed your temple.
“Just thinking about how crappy it’s going to feel when your mom doesn’t like me.” You sighed to which he chuckled before moving in front of you and kneeling down so he was eye level. He tucked a few of your loose curls behind your ear, eyes filled with nothing but love and adoration that you just wanted to melt into him.
“She’s going to love you, just like my sister did. Besides, if she doesn’t, you have my sister on your side and that’s a hurricane even I don’t want to go near,” You laughed, leaning your cheek on his hand and kissing his palm.
“Thank you,” You whispered.
Just as BamBam had told you, you had nothing to worry about because his mom did love you. She even offered for you to stay there in Thailand with her and Bambam could go back to Korea.
Tumblr media
kim yugyeom
Tumblr media
If anything, Yugyeom had seemed more nervous than you. You were the one meeting his family, yet you were calm whilst his leg was bouncing up and down and his fingers drummed on the interior of the car. You placed your hand on his leg that was still and sent him a teasing smile.
“Yugs, I’m the one meeting your family yet you’re sitting here like you’re meeting mine,” He chuckled at your comment before taking a hold of your hand to squeeze it.
“I’m just, I’ve never brought a girl home for them to meet,” He said to which caught you by surprise. Your eyes widened a little at the confession, trying not to let the thought of you being the first girl he brings home to meet his family officially trigger the nerves you had done a great job of keeping away.
“R-really? Why?”  You stuttered because in fact you were a little shocked. You knew that Yugyeom had other relationships before you and you had assumed at least one or two of them had met his family. He only shrugged, seeming calmer now.
“Never felt any of them were worth bringing home. Until you,” You couldn’t help the blush that painted your cheeks and he chuckled, squeezing your hand again.
You were feeling fine up until you pulled up to his house and then your legs shook like jello and you froze. Yugyeom wrapped his arms around your waist and gently lead you to the front door.
“You’re worth bringing home and that’s why you’re here. They’ll love you just as much as I love you,” You nodded, gulping as the door opened to reveal his parents smiling brightly.
He was right, they loved you just as much as he did.

Kdrama recs Part 1
Hullo and welcome to the kdrama life @camsthisky! The following list is not in any particular order, other than the fact that I start with a more rom/com vibe and head toward more romantic/action or action. All the following kdramas are set in the modern day, and part 2 of my recs for you will be either darker kdramas set in present day or historical dramas.
Let the list begin!
Tumblr media
1. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon:
Do Bong Soon is a v smol woman who has super strength and who wants 1. To create her own video game 2. Get her police officer crush to return her affections. Which like, police officer is kinda cute but he ain’t that special. Bong Soon winds up becoming a bodyguard to Ahn Min Hyuk, the extremely rich, kinda spoiled, ridiculously extra CEO of a gaming company who does not like the police for secret reasons, and sadly does not have a good relationship with his family. (He a lonely boy underneath everything.) Min Hyuk finds out about Bong Soon’s powers, is in TOTAL awe of her, offers to train her in fighting, and literally falls head over heels for her.
The caveat with this show is there is a subplot or two that annoy me, BUT I just use the 10 second skip button and it is totally worth it because the romance is super cute—SUPER CUTE (also I have a list of favorite actors and Park Hyung Sik is def on it—one minute he is an adorkable, blushing bby the next he can be intense and sad)
Tumblr media
He cute
2. Her Private Life:
Hello fake-dating!! Ryan Gold (an adoptee who didn’t live in Korea for a while) is a former artist who stopped painting because he couldn’t deal with his Stendhol (?) syndrome (among other traumas). Deok Mi is the classy art curator of a famous museum who definitely does not have any secrets she wants to keep from the world—well, other than the fact that she is the number one fangirl of kpop idol, Cha Shi-an (who also appreciates art) and has a major crush on him. Ryan becomes director of the art museum and there is a whole thing with getting Shi-an involved in an art show.
Following this and a series of unfortunate events a false rumor starts that Deok Mi and and Shi-an ARE dating. It’s a little complicated to summarize, but basically what you need to know is that Ryan and Deok Mi become a fake couple so there won’t be a scandal for Shi-an or violence done to Deok Mi by rabid fangirls. I enjoy the fake-dating trope a lot, and how it becomes real for both of them! The leads are played by Kim Jae Wook and Park Min Young, who both have incredible range. Lots of soft moments in this one! Good kisses, a scene where the faves bake together, and also Ryan wears a lot of deep v-neck shirts and jackets which is an attack on me personally.
The show also contains a bit of angst, which I LOVE. Hand-holding becomes an important theme 😊
Tumblr media
RYAN NO
3. Crash Landing on You: Rich South Korean heiress/fashion designer Se-ri accidentally winds up in a North Korean village, and really REALLY wants to go home. Mostly because there are no scented candles or spa-like bathtubs in the vicinity, but also because she could easily disappear into a NK jail and never return. A North Korean captain named Ri Jeong Hyeok finds her and decides not to turn her because, one, he’s a good guy who doesn’t want to turn an innocent person over to what might be her death, and two, turning her over might get his four underlings in trouble for reasons. Said underlings are his family, basically, and they are a deLIGHT. One is an argumentative proud sort who likes to drink and to feel important and who tries to provoke (and gets provoked by) Se-ri at every opportunity, one is a lover of banned South Korean dramas, one is a 17 year old bby who misses his mom, and one is the silent but most loyal follower of the captain.
Besides all these people, there are two other characters (including a surprisingly wise conman) who become faves and major players in the plot.
There is a great mix of humor, romance, found family, and angst, and I love it very much. A few things don’t go the way I want them to near the end, but a bit of imagination and fanfic can fix anything
ALSO I FORGOT THE CAPTAIN GETS SUPER SULKY FROM TIME TO TIME AND IT IS HILARIOUS
Tumblr media
Show of hands, who thinks they will meet again
4. Are You Human Too: A FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL! TIME!
What do you do when your husband dies and your evil mega-rich father-in-law takes your son away from you and keeps you from seeing him ever? Well, if you are scientist with more genius than positive coping methods, you build yourself a robot son who looks exactly like your real son. Great solution, am I right?
Nam Shin III is the name of my favorite robot son, played by the inestimable Seo Kang Joon. He is the purest bby you will ever meet, being designed so that he never lies and so that he will immediately go to hug anyone who cries. He seems quite a contrast to the bitter human Nam Shin, who hates his gilded prison life, hates his Grandpa, and tries to sneak away from his right hand man, Secretary Ji Young Hoon, his only friend in the world. The girl in the show is Kang So Bong, an ex-UFC fighter who was so badly injured she had to quit. She is at first a bit jaded and mercenary because of her past, but she has a golden heart that just needs to be reminded of its existence.
Not going into details to avoid spoilers, but everything upends when the robot Nam Shin has to take the place of the human Nam Shin. The show is a soft, funny, angsty exploration of what it means to be human, with some good found family throughout. The character development is phenomenal, and the connection between So Bong and Nam Shin III is *chef’s kiss*. I just want to give a shout out to Seo Kang Joon who plays a duel role like you wouldn’t believe, to SKJ’s smile, to the soundtrack, and to the character of Young Hoon, a loyal, steady, and self-sacrificing secretary that we do not deserve  (gosh tho he looks good in blue!)
Tumblr media
Look at my robot son getting a long-looked for affirmation! (his lil smile!!!
5. W: Two Worlds:
This show unique because it  meta as HELL! Oh Yeon Joo is a junior doctor and the daughter of a webtoon artist whose big hit, W, is coming to a close. Much to her surprise, she gets pulled into the world of the comic where she encounters and saves the main character, Kang Chul, a former Olympic shooting champion who was blamed for the murder of his entire family, and whose sole desire is to find the real killer. It’s a good romance between them, and I also love Kang Chul’s relationship with his hyung, which, tho it is not always a main focus, is present and wonderful. Kang Chul himself is both intelligent and adorably bratty, charismatic and angsty, soft and fierce, and he is one of my favorite kdrama characters for sure.
As for the meta, the show does a fantastic job exploring the rules of the comic world, of how one can enter and leave, the importance and power of main characters and supporting characters, and the purpose of an author. There is always another twist coming, and it is just so much fun!
Tumblr media
UM SIR PLS POINT THAT ELSEWHERE
6. Healer:
I watched half this show and never realized that the female lead is played by Park Min Young, same actress as in Her Private Life. Someone had to tell me lol! She’s just so good at playing different people. In this show, she is Chae Young Shin, a reporter for a celebrity tabloid who has big dreams of becoming a famous reporter who investigates stories that actually mean something. She is a bit quirky, very cute, very brave, and probably one of my favorite female leads. She lives with her dad above his coffee/teashop bakery and is friends with all the ex-cons he has defended while doing his other job of lawyering.
Anyway this show is more of a romantic/action drama. To get an idea of the titular Healer, picture what you would get if you took some of Batman and Nightwing’s aesthetics (wearing black, hanging out on rooftops, punching people, flipping around, etc) and put them into a night courier who likes to watch National Geographic and dream about one day going off to an island where he can live all by himself for the rest of his days because oh yeah he is a loner whose only friend is an older woman who sets up his jobs and whom he has never actually met.
There is also an older reporter that Young Shin looks up to, the fun tabloid office where she works, a heck lot of mystery surrounding some tragedy involving a group of reporter best friends/found family back in the 80’s/90’s, and of course both members of the OTP have childhood trauma that has made them who they are today. One of my favorite things that happens in the show is that Healer has to go undercover for a while, Clark Kenting it up in Young Shin’s tabloid office, which overnight becomes a real news agency for reasons.
The action is LOTS of fun, and the romance is really soft and cute, and better still, when there is a misunderstanding or something that gets in their way, they almost immediately talk about it and resolve issues. They TRUST each other and give the benefit of the doubt where many tv couples would break up or get in big fights. I find it (plus the character development) very refreshing.
Tumblr media
I couldn’t find a gif of my favorite fight sadly. This will have to do
7. Lawless Lawyer: This has Lee Joon Gi. Watch it.
Just kidding, there are many other reasons to watch the show, but it is true that Lee Joon Gi is one of my favorite actors. The man has phoenix eyes, a jawline that could cut silk, diamonds, you name it, and such a deep well of emotional acting that it literally kills me when his characters rage/weep/love/etc.
Anyway, in this legal thriller/romance/action drama, LJG’s character Bong Sang Pil is a beautiful, very extra ex-gangster/now lawyer who opens his own office, ready to fight villainy and avenge his mom with the law or with his fists, whichever is more useful at the time. He has a right hand man named Manager Tae and recruits a bunch of thugs as his minions, and they all become a weird sort of family as the show goes on.
Ha Jae Yi is a quiet badass lawyer who has no time for sexist idiots and gets her license suspended for smacking one of said fools. She gets recruited to assist Sang Pil, and they find their goals align as both their mothers were destroyed by the villains.
Speaking of the villains? EXCELLENT acting by them all, like they need to go down obviously, but you can’t help but be in awe of a few of them or even get attached to one or two in a weird way. Props to the show for having one of the best female villains I have ever seen

Hi! Can you give some kdrama recs that are on Netflix? I’m a kdrama newbie so any genre is fine. Love your blog. Thank you!
Yay! Welcome to K-Dramas!!
If I could take a second and recommend Viki.com (the website or the app) for watching K-dramas instead of/as well as Netflix, I will. It’s got a much wider variety, and the content creators are very passionate about Asian Dramas, so they pick really great ones to license. Plus you can try it for free if you don’t mind ads.
Great K-Dramas on Netflix (United States)
Just an FYI that Netflix has wildly different licensing depending on where you live. Europe has a much nicer selection of k-dramas than in the United States for instance. I’m in Michigan, so I’ll make my list based on living in the USA.
Oh My Ghost (rom com/fantasy): Adorable and super fun k-drama about a shy and quiet girl who becomes possessed by a sassy and flirty ghost. Great story, great chemistry.
Hello My Twenties: (Slice of life): a bingeworthy drama about a group of college students living in the same house. Friendship, romance, coming of age.
Chicago Typewriter (Fantasy/romance): I loooooove this kdrama about three people who are connected by their past fates. It’s in my top 10. The historical portion is super interesting, and the chemistry of all three main actors is just the best! Yoo Ah In...I just love him. Best kiss scene!
Crash Landing On You (Romcom/Melo): A South Korean celebrity accidentally ends up in North Korea for k-drama reasons and is helped by a soft hearted soldier and his crew. It’s one of those totally ridiculous plot lines that makes a K-drama a k-drama - You know, the ones with chaebols and all sorts of tropes, and a lot of plot that ignores reality. Still, the couple is adorable and the found family is amazing.
Tumblr media
Stranger (Thriller/Crime): A k-drama featuring a quirky crime solving due: a prosecutor who has lost his ability to feel empathy and his (obviously gay) brilliant and quirky detective partner. This drama has NO romance and is more about political corruption and mystery.
Because This Is My First Life (Romcom, Slice-of-life): I absolutely love this drama about a total sweetheart who gets married in order to have a place to live. A lot of the story is also about her close friends (one of which: Soo-ji, is one of my favorite ladies ever!) It’s funny, heartfelt, and has a very interesting relationship dynamic. I’d say it’s in my top 10 dramas, except that the lead is a creep IRL so I actually will not watch anything is he cast in (I did not know when I watched this drama and dangit I really really love it).
When The Camellia Blooms: (Slice-of-life/Romance): A really well done slice of life drama about a single mom who opens a bar. Lots of great small town characters and her son is like, the smartest kid in the world? The romance is very fluffy too.
One Spring Night (Romance): A romance between a single dad and a girl who comes into his pharmacy. It’s one of those more realistic toned dramas and has a very specific slower moving pace.
Kingdom (Zombie Horror): Seriously only watch this if you are not looking for a non-kdrama-y k-drama because this show is scary. A historical drama about messy kingdom politics and a terrifying zombie outbreak. I dare you not to fall in love with the lead or Bae Doona.
A Korean Odyssey (Fantasy/Romance): Honestly this show is a bit of a mess, but it’s very creative so I just want to give it some props. A cursed demon falls in love with the spirit-seeing human who cursed him. Lots of funny demon in-fighting and while the plot gets really wonky, I still think it’s worth a watch. (you’ll know right away if you don’t like it so you can just drop it if it’s not your thing :)
Live Up To Your Name (fantasy/romance/comedy/medical): A fun drama about a historical doctor who ends up traveling to the future and meets a modern doctor. I love this couple and the show is great, though I personally do not like medical stuff. The good news is if you are like me, you can fast forward all of the procedures and you will not miss any of the plot. Soft couple alert.

Tumblr media
Waking up in yet another chilly morning in Korea, you think of every step that has led you in this dorm, in a country quite literally across the world from your home. The university you attended offered almost all its students the opportunity to study abroad for a whole semester, to learn, see and explore, not only the country and your studies but also one’s self.
Most students jumped at the opportunity to leave home and travelled within the first year. Not you. You wanted to keep your head in the game, to fall in love with your studies before falling in love with another country.
So there you were, only a semester away from finishing your studies, in Korea. Why Korea? Well, why not? It was so different from anything you had known back home… You figured if you were going to do this, you would go all in.
Being completely honest, K-pop definitely helped. You couldn’t lie to your own self, seeing some of your favorite artists would be a pleasure. There was a certain someone… But you brushed off the thought.
As you got ready for your day, you conversed with your roommate, Haseul, about this and that. You debated about the days agenda, finally settling on a gallery and lunch afterwards. Heading out, you felt excited, you could tell this was going to be a good day.
When you arrived at the gallery, you were instantly certain you were going to love it. You thoroughly enjoyed each painting and picture, immersed in each of their mysteries and stories. You took photos of your favorites and posted them on your Instagram story.
You tried to keep as much of this trip’s memories recorded on your Instagram. You only had a couple hundred followers and all of them were more or less people you knew, a friend of a friend and such.
As you finished walking around the gallery, Haseul grumbled about being hungry. You wanted to stick around for a while longer, a bright painting of a landscape catching all your attention, but your stomach begged to differ. You complied, allowing Haseul to shine in her own element, searching for restaurants around the area. After going back and forth for a little, you settled down at a small seafood restaurant.
You opened your phone to document yet another moment of your day, when you found yourself trying to bite down a scream at the message that popped up. You checked and checked again to make sure your eyes were not deceiving you.
The message stared back at you loud and clear: “You’re in Korea?” His username shone in bright black letters.
“WHAT THE FUCK?” you finally let out, a little too loud for the other customers’ liking.
“What? What happened?” Haseul asked, concerned. You couldn’t even speak, so you just handed her your phone.
“He replied? He actually DMed you?” she asked in disbelief.
He could only be one person of course. Park Jaehyung, Jae, your childhood best friend. You had met him at first grade, both of you a little more than toddlers. You became fast friends with the boy with big framed glasses, who didn’t like toy cars as much as you did but still played with you.
However, fate had different plans for you. After almost three years of knowing one another, you had become inseparable. A change in your mom’s career would turn that around, making you move to Canada.
You believed that to be the first time you had known heartbreak. Jae took the news just as hard. When you left, you both vowed to call at least once a week and to never forget each other. The latter was obviously easier, one could hardly forget Jae, his bright nature and big heart making it hard not to love him. The first proved to be harder. First you forgot, then him, then it completely fell out of habit. You were little kids, so he slipped your mind, until one day you didn’t even miss him anymore.
That changed around a year ago. You had met up with a few friends from uni when someone announced that his best friend would be joining the group. The minute he started walking towards you, you couldn’t mistake him for anyone else. His big glasses had changed a hundred times over, his hair was now dyed a bright yellow, but his easy smile was always the same. He was Jae.
You thought that meeting would change everything. You talked throughout the course of the night, catching up. You found out he was in a band now, he was singing and playing the guitar. In Korea! You thought you would be reconnected after that night. Apparently not.
As abruptly he walked back into your life, he walked right out. Although you had exchanged social medias, no message ever came from Jae. He was following you, but he never replied or even read your attempts at reaching out.
You were disappointed to say the least. You thought you would have a chance to actually discover the man the little boy you knew had become. You were wrong. But while before your meeting, he was a thought that came and went, a part of a funny memory, now he plagued your thoughts more often than not. Especially in the previous days you had spent in Korea.
You were shocked. After almost a year of being radio silent… This? How on earth were you supposed to react? You had been in Korea for about 10 days, why did he text only now? As all those thoughts raced through your mind, your phone vibrated in your hand.
“Where are you right now? Let me know, I’m nearby” the message read. Seemingly impossible, your heartbeat sky-rocketed. You almost felt dizzy as you looked at Haseul in disbelief.
“I’m gonna… go” she said as she saw the new message.
You looked at her, lost and still unable to speak. She typed the restaurant’s address along with a simple “See you in a bit” and paid for the things she had ordered. After a quick kiss on your cheek and a “Good luck!”, she was out of the door.
You sat frozen, trying to calm your racing heart. You tried to look in your head, to find where this anxiety came from. Admittedly, since the last time you saw him, Jae has become a regular thought in your mind. You had followed him closely, his music and performances captivating you every time. In the process, you fell in love with K-pop.
Dowoon was your official bias, but your eyes always drifted to Jae. A crush? On Jae? It would explain a lot… But no. How could you have a crush on him, you barely knew him anymore.
Just as you managed to calm down, he walked in. The smile he gave you sent your heart on a frenzy again. He was so effortlessly perfect, clad in black jeans, white T-shirt and black hoodie.
You got up to greet him and he immediately crushed you in a hug, now several inches taller than you.
“Gosh, Y/N, it’s been too long!” he said letting go.
“I could say that I tried… Where have you been?” you asked.
“Sorry about that… The tour was absolutely crazy! What are you doing in Korea?” he asked sitting down.
As you explained, he placed his order. You conversed over delicious food, him filling you in on his tour and you on your first impressions of Korea and your classes.
Talking to him was effortless, just as it had been when you were only children. The conversation flowed to different matters entirely as you “argued” about which flavor milkshake was better and which horror movie was actually scary. At some point, his voice got serious as he got a sip of his beer.
“I saw you were at The Rose’s live Saturday” he said.
You had to blush. You had uploaded some stories of you screeching at your bias Hajoon (yes you had a thing for drummers, so what?) and badly singing lyrics back to Sammy.
“I was” you managed “I had a blast too. They are great performers.”
“Do you listen to a lot of K-pop?” he asked.
“Yeah actually, a lot of boy groups to be exact.” You replied, not sure where he was trying to get with this conversation.
“Oh. So do you listen to my music as well?”
“Of course! I like your band’s music a lot.”
“I see… Do you have a bias?” he asked. You could see that he was fidgeting, a sign he was nervous. So that hadn’t changed.
“I… do. But you’re not going to like it” you told him with a laugh, trying to lighten the atmosphere.
“It’s Wonpil, isn’t it?” he asked.
“Close enough, it’s Dowoon” you told him.
You heard him mutter something under his breath, but he brushed it off when you asked him about it. After that weird exchange, he was right back to normal, laughing and teasing.
Looking at the time, you realized it should be best for you to go if you wanted to get home before Haseul screamed at you for staying out late. You told Jae and he got up.
“Where are you going? We haven’t paid!” you said.
“We have, I paid” he told you.
“No. No Jae sit down, we should split it! You being a K-pop idol doesn’t let you off! It’s not right!” you said.
“Y/N, calm down! I only did it because I wanted to. My treat, for your welcome in Korea. Please?” he tried, holding your hand.
“Fine. Ugh, you can still make me do you bidding, I hate you” you said shoving him slightly.
“Ha! You wish. You love me” he scoffed.
“Meh, you can’t prove that!” you said, walking out from the restaurant.
“Y/N! Wait, there’s another thing. Let me walk you to the subway station” Jae offered.
“Sure, what is it?” you asked.
As you walked side by side your heart felt like it would jump out of your chest. Every brush of his fingers against yours, every deep breath seemed to hit you like a ton of bricks. You tried to remain calm and not think about how much you would scream if Dowoon were here.
“Okay so… I want to see you again. I mean I really felt like shit not being able to talk to you all those months, I wish I could change that. Things were hectic and very different back then. My agency… Well, they have let us off a tiny bit now. What I’m trying to say is, I know I was a dick. And I'm sorry. I’d like to make it up to you.” He finished.
“Jae you don’t have to. Really, I understand. It wasn’t the best feeling when you didn’t reply, but I know how it is. Did it sting a bit? Yes. Did it suck a whole lot? Sure it did, but I get it. I really do.” You told him.
“Just let me do this one thing…” he started.
“You already paid for food! It’s fine, really, especially now that you seem to want to make an effort.” You stopped him.
“Well, let me do another thing” he said, pulling something out of his pockets.
When you saw what it was, your eyes opened wide. Your mouth dropped to the floor and you had to bite back another scream. Jae was offering VIP tickets and backstage passes to one of their lives in Seoul. You tried not to fangirl too much but judging from Jae’s amused look, you weren’t doing too well. You opened and closed your mouth, trying to come up with something, anything.
“Just come to the show… Please? If not for me, for Dowoon” he tried, pulling the best puppy eyes you had seen in a while.
“Jae… I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much you really didn’t have to-” you started.
“I wanted to.” He said with determination, pushing the tickets and passes in your hand.
“Thank you… so much. I’ll be there. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” You told him with a smile.
By then you had gotten to the subway station where he was supposed to drop you off.
“I’ll look for you. It’s going to be a bit busy right now, but I’ll try to see you for coffee and muffins as soon as I can. You still like chocolate muffins, right?” he asked.
“Of course I do. I’ll see you soon” you told him, wrapping your arms around his waist.
He let go first, dropping you a soft smile and turning around. Just as he was leaving you, you called back to him.
“Jae!” you called, catching his attention. “If you don’t at least drop a haha at my next meme, I’m not coming!” you threatened.
He laughed lightly, eyes closing and hands going to his stomach. Your heart did several backflips at the sight, a smile growing in your own face. He nodded in you direction and finally disappeared in the backseat of a taxi.
When you got back, you had a lot of explaining to do. Haseul was basically sitting at the very edge of the couch, ready to jump on you and shower you with questions the second you walked in. You tried to start from the beginning, telling her everything that happened. When you finally got the tickets out of your purse, she squealed with joy.
“I’m meeting my husband!!! Oh my God, what if Brian actually falls in love with me? Y/N what am I going to do?” she went on and on.
You laughed at the sight, making plans to go shopping because Haseul apparently hasn’t “Anything remotely decent to wear”. As you tucked in for the night, you thought back on your day. A smile quickly grew on your face and you fell asleep happier than you’d been in a while.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The concert day had felt too far away two weeks prior, but between your classes and assignments, exploring Seoul and meeting all kinds of new people, they flew by in a blur. Now it was the morning of the concert and you and Haseul were getting ready to hit the road, listening to a playlist Haseul made called “Day6 jams”. As you screamed the lyrics in each other’s faces, you took some pictures and finally headed to the venue.
You arrived early so you walked around, meeting fansites and getting free photocards and goodies from the fans that were there. You stood patiently in line to get your lightband and a shirt for Haseul. You talked about this and that, counting down the hours, then the minutes to the concert.
Walking into the venue, you were amazed by how many people were already there. Taking your seats, you found that Jae had placed you on his side of the stage. Taking a picture and sending it to him, you wished him a good luck and telling him you couldn’t wait to see them.
During the two weeks between your first outing and the concert, Jae had kept his promise. No matter how late or early in the day, he found time to reply to your texts, even briefly. You had met up for coffee and muffins as promised, spending hours talking and sharing stories from all you had missed in your lives.
Jae had held your hand as he walked you to the nearest subway station, making you blush like crazy. After dropping you off, he only said that he was really looking forward to seeing you at the concert, finishing up with a peck on your cheek.
You didn’t really know what to make of anything that had happened that day or otherwise. It was clear that Jae wanted you back in his life, but as what? You tried not to think about it too much, but the thought chased you at all times, unwanted. Jae was again plaguing your thoughts and staying loyal to Dowoon had never been this hard.
Your thoughts were drowned away from Haseul, jumping up from her seat and screaming.
“It’s starting, it’s starting, oh my God!” she shouted, pulling you to your feet and holding your hand tightly.
Excitement rushed through your veins as the lights dimmed down and five familiar figures arrived on the stage. The song started playing, almost shyly, tasting the waters. You recognized ‘Best Part’ and fangirling mode was: on. Screaming the lyrics back to the members, as well as the fanchants had you breathing heavily but the end of the song.
You continued being energetic and enjoying each song as the concert went on. When Dowoon stepped down from his drum set to join the boys you let out and huge scream, excited to finally catch a good glimpse at him. The ments from the boys were heartwarming, each one bringing their own colours and interacting with the fans.
You were on cloud nine, magically transformed and led through a way of notes, lyrics and feelings altogether too intense for your body to handle. You tried to stay in the moment, allowing yourself to feel Dowoon singing in ‘Wanna Go Back’, Wonpil’s melodic voice in ‘Like That Sun’ and Sungjin’s honey vocals in ‘I Smile’. Haseul held your hand tightly and cried during Brian’s parts in ‘I Need Somebody’, constantly screaming “WHO HURT YOU?”.
The boys’ solo stages were sprinkled throughout the concert, making you excited for what was to come next. Everyone was at the top of their game that night and you would be lying if you said you didn’t tear up as well at some songs.
As the night progressed, the boys took the stage to say some final words before the encore. Jae was the last one to speak up, but judging by the look on his face, he looked as happy to be there as you were. You marveled at all of them, sweaty and still pumped up from the energy the fans were giving them.
“So you guys, sadly the encore is about to begin which means the end is soon approaching” he said into his mic and the crowd screamed their disappointment, you included.
“I know, I know, sad times indeed. But I’d like to share with you all a reason why I’m so happy tonight.” He stated and the crowd screamed their support.
“Well, you see, there’s a very important person in this crowd here today, a person I cherish very much. They were lost to me for a while. But now I got them back. And I thought I’d take this moment right here to say that I love them. And I don’t think I want to let go” he finished and his gaze stayed to where you we sitting.
His gaze flashed through you, finding its target right into your heart. You were star-struck, tears filling your eyes and blurring your vision. You felt Haseul enveloping you in a hug and trying to calm you down. You could hear ‘Freely’ playing in the background as you realized the truth you were trying to avoid for too long.
The final songs passed by in a whirlwind of emotions, you trying to come back to the concert, but your mind straying away to one certain boy. You couldn’t take your eyes off of him, his eyes shining as he sang and played his beloved guitar.
As the last notes of ‘Better Better’ filled the air, the end of a beautiful concert had come at last. Final goodbyes were being said and Jae stuck around to wave to your side of the venue. You were waving back, although you doubted he would see you.
After the boys went backstage, everyone was up and in a hurry to leave. You and Haseul sat back down to catch your breaths before heading backstage.
“Are you okay?” she asked, testing the waters.
You looked back at her, giving her a smile. Since the first time you had met her back home, Haseul had been a very thoughtful friend, always taking good care of you and loving you so much with her big heart. Coming back to her, even in a strange country, felt like coming back home.
“I think I’m okay” you finally managed, easing her worried stare. “It was an intense concert…”
“It sure was. You think you’re ready to head back?” she asked, seeing the concert hall emptying.
“Let’s go meet your future husband” you told her, taking her hand and walking towards the backstage.
Showing your backstage passes to the guards, you were lead though a narrow corridor with doors on either side. You arrived at a final door that read “Artist” and had the Day6 logo right below it.
As you were pushed inside, you tried to silence your mind. You needed to be yourself, be genuine. Try to enjoy this. Walking into the room, you called “Hello?” with a small voice.
All the boys’ attention was now on you and Haseul. You tried hard not to panic and gave them a small smile which spurred them into action. They all got up to greet you together. Jae started walking towards you, a huge smile on his face. You decided to stir the pot a little, walking completely past him and into Dowoon’s arms. He laughed into your hair and your heart soared at the sound. After some hesitation, he wrapped his own arms around you and held you.
“I’ve been so excited to meet you, you don’t even know. I need you to know that I see the effort you put in. I appreciate you so much, I’m so super proud of you. I can’t wait to hear more from your singing, please keep pursuing it, it suits you so well. You are so amazing, so so talented I swear.” You rambled. You would go on, but judging by his amused stare you’d already said too much.
You moved on to Wonpil, hugging him tightly. “Hi” he said, half-laughing.
“Hey. I don’t need to tell you this but please never stop singing. Your voice touches so many people, it’s unreal. So don’t stop okay?” you asked.
“Okay, I won’t” he cutely answered back with a smile.
You hugged Sungjin quickly and stepped back to look at him in the eyes.
“Thank you for putting up with them, I don’t know how you do it. You are always deeply appreciated, I hope you know it. The way you allow every song to live through you is something I’ve never seen before. I’m sorry Jae is the way he is, I think I may have something to do with that.” You admitted
Sungjin only shook his head. “Jae is just… Jae. Thank you though.”
You moved on to Brian, hugging him tightly. “Your songs are too fucking real. I swear to God everything you write either comforts me greatly, or touches me in ways I don’t even understand… Thank you and also what the fuck.” You told him and you both burst into laughter.
“Thank you as well, you guys are the best” he answered.
“You bet we are!” Haseul said from behind you.
Jae was purposely left for last. You had done your best not to look at him before greeting the others, afraid he would read right through your gaze and into your heart. Turning to him now, you were faced with his expectant stare. He opened his arms wide.
“Saving the best for last?” he jokingly asked.
You walked into his arms, burring your face in his neck.
“Saving the most special for last” you whispered as you squeezed his waist.
“Really?” He asked, his tone low. His whole demeanor had shifted, no trace of the joking, playful look he had given you only a second before.
“Yes really. I heard what you said out there, which was stupid by the way. Now your company is going to be all up in your ass. But I feel the same way. I think I have for a while.” You said, smiling up to him.
        “Really?” he repeated.
You laughed and buried your face in his neck once more, hugging him even tighter than before.
“Y/N” Jae started, cupping your face in his hands, thumbs caressing your cheek.
“If they make out right here, I swear I am going to barf” Brian announced.
“Nooo, look, it’s so romantic” Haseul cooed.
Jae placed a kiss on your cheeks between your giggles. “Later” he promised.
You didn’t know exactly what that promise would entail. Probably an abundance of sleepless nights, face times and texts. But you were willing to find out. For all the hugs and kisses, the smiles and the jokes.
        “We’ll see” you told yourself.

pairing: bucky barnes x reader (high school!au)
summary: in which bucky admits his feelings for you...to his mom.
word count: 1.9k, yep just a wee bit longer than the last one :)
warnings: fluff once again bc i was crying a lot earlier while reading angsty fics and i wanna feel happy again! Also haha snuck some aladdin lines in there too ;)
a/n: i really didn’t intend to make this like a “her ___” thing but i’m down for it. i’m writing this to pass the time bc i’m waiting for my friend who lives in korea to be free so we can talk. also, wow! “her laugh” was really well received! thanks friends :) feel free to leave any feedback you may have for me! [oh, i mention some things about how the anglican church began in a funny way, i’m not trying to offend anyone’s religion so plz don’t take it that way]
-
History was hands down your favorite subject. Something about analyzing past civilizations was so fascinating to you. To think that the things you read about in textbooks actually happened was mind-boggling but also really amusing. There was a guy, a king for that matter, that wanted a divorce so badly that he created an entirely new church in the process of separating from his wife, who he also proceeded to decapitate (okay, maybe that part wasn’t so funny).
You looked forward to your history class every day because of your love for its engaging and rigorous curriculum...for the most part. A small part of you also excitedly anticipated the conversations you would have with the cute guy who sat behind you. Bucky Barnes. The quarterback of your school’s football team but also president of the Science Olympiad club. Could he get any more perfect? Apparently, yes. Not only was he a skilled athlete and an intelligent student, but he was simply a good guy. Surprisingly, that was hard to come by at your school. Guys would either brag about their perfect SAT scores or about all the sweet girls they cut off. Bucky wasn’t like that. He was so far from that. Whenever he caught you in the halls, he’d shoot you a smile or a wave and sometimes he’d even offer to walk you to your next class despite your protests that he would be tardy.
A poke on your shoulder snapped you out of your daydream. You turned around to meet the glorious blue eyes of the person that was the focus of said daydream.
“Hey, sorry (Y/N), but that pretty little head of yours is blocking the board,” he whispered, afraid of getting called out by your teacher. His compliment brought an intense blush to your face that you would not let him see. You muttered a quick “sorry” before scooting over and turning your head back around to prevent him from noticing the redness of your face. You tried your best to suppress your thoughts about your little crush and focused your attention on your teacher.
“Alright class, now that we’re beginning our study of the 20th century, I’m rolling out a project in which you and your choice of a partner will do research on the most important political, economic and social aspects of a decade that I’ll be assigned to you.”
Great, you thought. You weren’t really close with anyone in your history class except for Bucky. All your other friends were in the class period after you. You knew Bucky was gonna pair up with Dot, the head cheerleader who had been pining over him since she found out he was the quarterback. She was nice, you just knew you couldn’t compete with her for Bucky’s affections. Not that you really forced yourself to. You didn’t need a boyfriend, especially not now. You prioritized your studies so you could get into your dream school, not getting a man. But...that didn’t mean you were against one. A significant other wasn’t necessary for you but...you saw it as a welcome addition to your life.
Your teacher announced that students were allowed to move out of their seats to find partners. You stood up and anxiously surveyed your options. Bucky was out of the picture. Maybe his friend Steve? No, you knew he was gonna pair up with his girl Peggy. Scott Lang? No, he’d be a fun partner but you knew it would be really hard to get him to avoid procrastinating. Wanda? That could work. You didn’t know her that well but who knows? Maybe you’d gain a new friend after this project. But as you were approaching her, the president of Academic League, Viz had beat you to it. Fuck, now what?
Just as all hope seemed to be lost, you felt a familiar poke on your shoulder. You turned again to meet the same eyes you had looked into just minutes before.
Bucky sent you a friendly smile as he asked, “Got a partner, yet?” with his hands scrunching in his pockets, almost nervously?
Words almost failed you but you managed to let out a little, “Nope”. He smiled at that. Nodding, he replied, “Cool”. Huh, maybe he wasn’t out of the picture.
~
You and Bucky had been assigned to study the 1940’s and the both of you were currently on your way to his house to get a head start on the project.
“You can have control of the AUX cord if you want, it’s gonna take a while to get to my place,” Bucky offered as you got into his car.
“Oh, I don’t know, you might judge me for my music taste,” you said shyly.
He let out a playful scoff. “No way, you’ll be fine...as long as you don’t play like Jake Paul or some shit.” You giggled at that. “Oh, I’d never do that to you.” You ended up playing some 80’s songs that you were currently into. Bucky seemed to enjoy it, even opting to quietly sing along.
He pulled into his driveway, stopped the car and quickly got out to open your door for you. You smiled at him for the chivalrous gesture. Before he unlocked the front door, he turned to you instead, “I didn’t mention this earlier but I’d just like to apologize for my mom and sister in advance. They can be a lot sometimes.” You softly shook your head. “Oh that’s fine, I’m sure they’re fine.”
With that, he let you in first before yelling, “Ma! Becks! I’m home!” You heard, “Ok honey, in the kitchen! Have a snack before starting homework!” in reply. You followed Bucky into the kitchen; you leaned against the wall as he walked towards a middle-aged woman, his mom, standing in front of the sink with her back facing you. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and said, “Hey ma, I’m gonna be working on a project with (Y/N) for a bit, I’m gonna get some snacks for her too.”
“Who?” his mother asked. She looked around the room to find the person in question, aka you. When her eyes settled upon you, she jumped a bit and remarked, “Oh, I’m sorry dear, James didn’t mention that he’d have someone over.” As she got a better look at you, she—not so subtely—whispered to Bucky, “Ooh, she’s really pretty Jamie.” Shock overtook his features, prompting him to softly nudge his mothers. He coughed to mask his embarrassment. “What my beautiful mother means is,” he began, “she’ll have snacks ready for us soon so we should just start working.”
He quickly lead to you to the study, away from the kitchen where his smirking mother stood preparing cookies for the both of you. A younger girl was already seated in the study when you approached it.
“Becca, can you study in your room upstairs, I need to work on a project,” said Bucky.
The little girl, Becca, looked up from her notebook with a sassy look and retorted, “Why don’t you work on your project in your room? I got here first.”
Bucky let out an exasperated sigh. “Because, (Y/N) and I need a lot of space to work on this.”
Becca cocked an eyebrow towards her brother’s direction. “You mean you need a lot of space so you can make out with your girlfriend?”
You wished with everything else in your being that you could’ve turned invisible. You tried to sound confident to defend yourself but your words came out as stutters. “Oh! W-we’re not d-dating. We’re just p-partners.” Becca turned to you with a suspicious look on her face. She started you down for a few second before shrugging.
“Ok, whatever you say. Just call me over when you’re done so I can use this room after.”
Bucky graciously looked to his sister. “Will do, thanks Becks.”
After she retreated to her room, Bucky turned to you. “Like I said, they can be a lot.” With that, you began working on your project.
~
You and Bucky worked for about 3 hours with short small talk breaks in between before calling it a night.
“Alright, thanks for offering to use your place today. We could work at mine next time, or maybe the library so it isn’t that much trouble to you?” You suggested.
“No it’s alright,” he said. “I like having you here.” His remark brought a similar blush that graced your features earlier that day. You bashfully looked away from him and let out a soft laugh.
“Okay...I’ll see you at school tomorrow. Tell your mom I’m really grateful for her hospitality.” He nodded. With that goodbye, you began your journey home. Turns out, you only lived down the street from Bucky. He had offered to walk you home, but you resisted saying that he had already done so much for you that day.
He made his way back into his house and the kitchen, where he sat on in a seat by the island and buried his face in his hands.
“She seems like a nice girl, James,” his mom said. He removed his hands from his face and moved them to hold his chin.
“Yeah...she really is,” he responded with a blissful smile and gentle look in his eyes. His mother grinned at his obvious infatuation with the girl.
“Do you like her?” his mother teased.
Bucky’s brows furrowed as he replied, “No mom, (Y/N) and I are just friends, we aren’t together.”
His mom sent him a sly smirk, “I never mentioned her name, Jamie.”
He looked confused at first but then he realized his mistake. “Shit.”
She nudged him with her elbow. “Hey, don’t you use that language around me young man.”
Bucky simply groaned and buried his face in his hands once again. “It’s okay Jamie, you can tell me. You can tell me anything, you know that.”
He let out a lovestruck sigh. “I don’t know what it is about her ma. She’s smart, a-and fun.”
“You think she’s pretty?” she asked.
“Beautiful!” he answered almost instantaneously. “She’s got these eyes...a-and this hair! Oh, and her smile?” he let out a helpless sigh. “I could go on and on about her smile.”
Bucky’s mom was really happy seeing her son like this. He’d been through a lot at a young age, losing his father and having to take on the father/big brother role for Becca was tough for him. He never prioritized himself, he put his mom and sister first. They were the ones he cared about most and he did everything in his power to make sure they were happy. That meant he had to sacrifice his own desires to ensure that his family got theirs. But it was Bucky’s turn to be happy now.
“If that’s the case, then you go on and tell her that,” his mother said.
“But—” Bucky began to protest but changed his mind. His look of concern was replaced with one of determination. “You know, I will do that. Tomorrow, I’ll tell her. Maybe I should buy her flowers to make it really sweet? Or no, maybe that actually might be too much...Or I could just be really casual with it and just approach her at her locker? No, I don’t want to make it look like I don’t really care...Or maybe…” Bucky mumbled off thoughts to himself as he left the kitchen to his room.
Bucky’s mother looked after him as he walked away thinking about how grateful she was that you had made your way into Bucky’s heart.

"Where have you been?" I looked up from the phone and saw one of my best friends. "Hoseok, I was at work," I answered. "Don't work too hard. I've said this before." "I know, I know."
Hoseok has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. He helped me with a lot. Recently I moved to an apartment in Daegu, South Korea. It was bigger than the last one I had but I needed to pay the bills, so I had gotten a second job.
The second job I had was a cute one. It was a little café that was near my apartment. The only thing I didn't like about my job was the customers. Most of them were really nice. Others were just straight-up jerks. But the one I hated the most was the one that sat in the café.
I don't know his name. He sits there, in the same spot. Not every day but he stares at me. He always has his drink ordered. But never gives his name.
"Thank you for dropping me off, see you later." I waved bye to Hoseok as he drove off. Walking through the doors, I was welcomed with a warm vanilla scent. I said hi to my fellow coworkers.
Headed to the back to get ready and put on my apron.
Tumblr media
"Good Afternoon, How May I help you?" I asked. The customer in front of me seemed nervous. Well, she seemed stressed. Seeing the bag she had, probably college. "Can I get green tea with sugar and lemon?" "What size would you like?" "May I get a medium." "Name?" "Wheein."
And just like that, the rest of my day went by. Taking orders. Everything was fine until he came.
The bell rang, signaling us that another person walked in. When I looked up, I saw him. We made eye contact for a moment. He took his usual seat by the window.
"You're favorite customer is here," Lisa comments. "He's not my favorite customer." I rolled my eyes. Lisa was one of my coworkers that worked night shifts with me the most. "Well, you seem to be his favorite." "I'm not taking his order until he gets up and comes to the cash register." I huffed while making a different drink.
"A large mocha for Yeri!" I called out. She walked up to receive her drink. "Have a good night." She said while leaving.
Tumblr media
Its been about an hour, and he still hasn't ordered anything. I moved away from the front, took up a notepad and walked over to him. Before he was by himself, now he had a few friends. Two of them. "Are you going to order or you're going to sit here and look pretty?" I asked. The two looked shocked while the man looked unbothered.
The two shocked ones ordered with their names. A Caramel Latte for Jimin and a Strawberry Frappe for Jin. "Do you want anything?" I asked again. "Iced Coffee with milk, Min Yoongi." He said without looking me.
I walked away from the table. "Did you really just say that?" "Yes, I'm not afraid of him." We began making their drinks. And from the looks of it, I was going to have to bring them over.
Picking up the drinks, I walked to the table and placed the drinks in front of them. "A caramel latte for Jimin, strawberry frappe for Jin and an iced coffee with milk for Min Yoongi," I said. "Thank you," beamed Jimin. He looked excited about his drink.
"No problem," I responded.
Tumblr media
It was closing time and Lisa and I was almost done with locking up. "I'll be out in a moment," I said. Quickly, I headed to the back and grabbed my things.
"Goodnight y/n unnie," Lisa waved. "Night!" I waved back. I locked the doors for the café and began walking home.
After a few minutes, I heard a pair of footsteps following me. As I sped up, they sped up. Every turn I made, they made. And I was ready to run.
"What do you want?" I stopped and turned around like the idiot I was. The figure stepped out, I could only see his silhouette. He was definitely taller than me. He was also built. "I need you to come with me." "Ha. Ha. Funny. That's not going to happen."
"Listen, we can do this the easy way or the hard way." "I don't know who you are and you think you're talking to. I'm not going with you." I scoffed. I wasn't stupid to go along with a stranger. Yet alone, following me at night. "Alright then," he walked towards me.
Grabbed my wrist and pulled me. "Let go of me." I fought back. I bit his arm. "You little...." Seconds later, he had his hands around my neck. "You don't listen." I clawed at his hands but I started to see little spots of black.
Tumblr media
Y/n struggled. She was being choked. "Let her go!" A new figure showed up. The dark silhouette let's go off y/n. She falls to the ground, coughing and gasping for air.
"Yoongi, why are you here?" "I was just about to ask you the same thing," he said while playing with his lighter. "What's important about her?" He asked. Glancing at y/n, she was still on the ground.
"That's none of your business, Jaeho," Yoongi said. Jaeho grabs y/n by her collar, "she has to be important."
Pulling out a gun, he points it at y/n and she immediately starts to panic. Tears streaming down her face. "Don't cry princess, just stay quiet." Jaeho shushed.
"You're not very smart Jaeho, you're going to be sorry if you hurt her," Yoongi says. Looking up from his lighter. "What's important about this girl, answer the question." "She's a daughter of a billionaire." Yoongi answers.
He takes a few steps towards the two. "Another step and I shoot her." Yoongi stops where he was. A chuckle comes out of him.
"I might just keep her as a pet. She's cute." "Jaeho, let her go. I'm not going to say it again." "What are you going to do?" Jaeho challenged.
"I hate it when you guys say that. Kook, go." After Yoongi's statement, Jaeho falls to the ground. Y/n stood there in shock. She looks down at him and immediately screams. Through his head.
"Yah, calm down," Yoongi mumbled while walking towards her. She backed away from him. Scared out of her mind. "Just come with me. I won't do anything if you come willingly." "And why would I trust you, you just killed someone."
Y/n glanced around for an escape. But there wasn't any. "C' mon, let's go." Yoongi took hold of her wrist and pulled her along. Y/n tried her best to get away. She scratched him. He let go and she ran away. As fast as her legs could.
However, a different figure caught her and put a rag over her mouth and nose. And everything went dark.

I woke up in a large bed. My stuff was on a desk. I sat up slowly while holding my head. "Where the hell am I?" I whispered. I heard voices outside the room. There were a lot of them. Two of them sounded familiar. I looked around the room. Seeing two doors.
"Where is she now?" "She's in my room." I heard. I only remembered a man pointing a gun at my head.
The door opens and I see seven men in front of me. "Hoseok?!" Seeing my best friend. He stayed quiet and just looked at me. I also started to recognize the others. Namjoon was a coworker at my day job. Taehyung was April's boyfriend, well, ex-boyfriend. Jungkook works at an Art Store. Jimin and Jin were from the café.
Then my eyes landed on him, Min Yoongi.
I stared at each and every one of them. They all were in my life somehow, somewhere. "Why am I here?" "To keep you safe," Hoseok answered. "Safe from what? I've been fine for the past 25 years on Earth." "We can't exactly tell you," Jungkook said. "Of course you can't." I huffed. A pounding in my head started, making me wince. "I'll get the water." Jimin left the room.
"Go, I'll talk to her," Yoongi instructed. Now I was in a room with him alone. He got closer to the bed. Pulling a chair with him to sit down. There was a knock at the door, "Come in." Jimin walked in with a glass of water and a pill. He placed it on the desk near my belongings. Then he quickly exits.
Yoongi's eyes land on me again. "Ask me anything and I'll answer it honestly." "Again, I don't know you. Why would I trust you in any way." I stated while crossing my arms. "Because I saved your life."
Then a quick flash of the man named Jaeho came to mind. He had the gun to my head yet, he fell and a gunshot was in the center of his forehead. "Do you remember?" I nodded my head slowly. "The one thing I'm going to tell you is that you can't leave this place." He said while getting up. "Why not?" "You're in danger, y/n."
"Is it something I did?" I questioned. I watched his steps carefully. "No, I was hired to keep you safe by your father." "My father died before I was born," I said. "Obviously, your mom had to hide things from you." "Yes, please explain to me why my own mother would lie about my father to me." I crossed my arms. "They signed an agreement."
Before I could retaliate, a sharp pain appeared on my arm. "Take it, the pain will go away." Yoongi gave me the glass of water and the pill. After I took it, "Get some rest." He left the room and I was once again by myself.
Tumblr media
This morning, I woke up in the same bed. "Why can't this just be a dream," I mumbled. There was a bag on the floor near the door. Getting up, I walked towards the door and looked through the bag. It had clothes inside. "Get ready, we have to go somewhere." A voice said. "Okay."

She-who-fights-and-writes Top 5 Book Recs 2019!!
Tumblr media
Here are my top five books/book series that I think EVERYONE should read or at least try to read in their lifetime!! No matter their standing on this list, I love every single one of these books with my whole heart!!!!!
5. Pet Sematary by Stephen King (Genre: Horror)
Tumblr media
Back cover:
When Dr. Louis Creed takes a new job and moves his family to the idyllic rural town of Ludlow, Maine, this new beginning seems too good to be true. Despite Ludlow’s tranquility, an undercurrent of danger exists here. Those trucks on the road outside the Creed’s beautiful old home travel by just a little too quickly, for one thing…as is evidenced by the makeshift graveyard in the nearby woods where generations of children have buried their beloved pets. Then there are the warnings to Louis both real and from the depths of his nightmares that he should not venture beyond the borders of this little graveyard where another burial ground lures with seductive promises and ungodly temptations. A blood-chilling truth is hidden there—one more terrifying than death itself, and hideously more powerful. As Louis is about to discover for himself sometimes, dead is better…
I didn’t sleep for two days after finishing this book. I had to read it in the morning, never at night, and couldn’t put it down whenever I picked it up. However, this book is really a testament to Stephen King’s reputation as the dominator of the horror/suspense genre of fiction.
Beautifully descriptive and creepy, it gives a shocking new perspective of the consequences of playing God. With a very much flawed and very much human main character, along with a gripping story that raises the hairs on the back of your neck, Pet Semetary is the perfect book to read when you’re feeling a flare for the supernatural.
4. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer (Genre: Sci-Fi)
Tumblr media
Back cover of Cinder:
CINDER, a gifted mechanic in New Beijing, is also a cyborg. She's reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister's sudden illness. But when her life becomes entwined with the handsome Prince Kai's, she finds herself at the centre of a violent struggle between the desires of an evil queen - and a dangerous temptation. Cinder is caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal. Now she must uncover secrets about her mysterious past in order to protect Earth's future. This is not the fairytale you remember. But it's one you won't forget.
These books broke me out of a serious book hangover (caused by the #1 series on this list) and made me realize “Wait, there are other books in this world that can be enjoyed besides this series.”
Funny and captivating, this book puts an interesting twist on classic fairytales. Instead of being the kind of twist where everything is unnecessarily gory and dark, this puts a futuristic spin on the classic stories that we all know and love.
The characters are amazing and very diverse, and although the stories are similar to the Grimm’s fairy tales, they’re a whole new ballpark plot-wise that keeps you on the edge of your seat!
3. In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park (Genre: Memoir)
Tumblr media
Back cover:
“I am most grateful for two things: that I was born in North Korea, and that I escaped from North Korea.”
Still in her early twenties, Yeonmi Park has lived through experiences that few people of any age will ever know--and from which most would never recover. At age thirteen, together with her mother, she made a harrowing escape from brutal conditions in North Korea. Two years later, they reached South Korea and freedom. But the devestating journey in between cost Park her childhood and nearly her life. As she writes, “I convinced myself that a lot of what I had experienced never happened. I taught myself to forget the rest.”
In In Order to Live, Park sines light not just into the darkest corners of life in North Korea, describing the deprivation and deception she endured and that millions of North Korean people continue to endure to this day, but also onto her own most painful and difficult memories. She tells with bravery and dignity for the first time the story of how she and her mother were betrayed and sold into sexual slavery in China and forced to suffer terrible psychological and physical hardship.
Park confronts her past with a startling resilience. In spite of everything, she has never stopped being proud of where she is from, and never stopped striving for a better life. Today she is a human rights activist working determinedly to bring attention to the oppression taking place in her home country. Park’s testimony is rare, edifying, and terribly important, and the story she tells in In Order to Live is heartbreaking and unimaginable but never without hope.
This book changed my life.
Riveting, beautiful, and at heartbreaking, it really made me appreciate what I have in life and made me more aware of things that are currently happening in the world as we speak.
I think that no one should be able to talk about North Korea and about how it’s not a big deal that we help the people there until they read this book.
Truly an amazing and unbelievable story.
2. The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller (Genre: Fantasy)
Tumblr media
Back cover:
Achilles, "the best of all the Greeks," son of the cruel sea goddess Thetis and the legendary king Peleus, is strong, swift, and beautiful— irresistible to all who meet him. Patroclus is an awkward young prince, exiled from his homeland after an act of shocking violence. Brought together by chance, they forge an inseparable bond, despite risking the gods' wrath.
They are trained by the centaur Chiron in the arts of war and medicine, but when word comes that Helen of Sparta has been kidnapped, all the heroes of Greece are called upon to lay siege to Troy in her name. Seduced by the promise of a glorious destiny, Achilles joins their cause, and torn between love and fear for his friend, Patroclus follows. Little do they know that the cruel Fates will test them both as never before and demand a terrible sacrifice.
A phenomenally written and emotional re-telling of the classic Greek epic the Iliad that delves into the romantic relationship between Achilles and Patroclus.
Madeline Miller truly has an undeniable god-given talent for writing; her descriptions and storytelling makes for a book that you CANNOT put down once you’ve picked it up.
I read this book in a day and had a serious, serious book hangover afterward; I literally could NOT stop thinking about it for days. It just sticks with you, you know?
Me and my mom both wept over this book; it is truly a triumph and a masterpiece.
1. The Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo (Genre: Fantasy)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back cover of Shadow and Bone, first book in The Grisha Trilogy:
Soldier. Summoner. Saint. Orphaned and expendable, Alina Starkov is a soldier who knows she may not survive her first trek across the Shadow Fold―a swath of unnatural darkness crawling with monsters. But when her regiment is attacked, Alina unleashes dormant magic not even she knew she possessed.
Now Alina will enter a lavish world of royalty and intrigue as she trains with the Grisha, her country’s magical military elite―and falls under the spell of their notorious leader, the Darkling. He believes Alina can summon a force capable of destroying the Shadow Fold and reuniting their war-ravaged country, but only if she can master her untamed gift.
As the threat to the kingdom mounts and Alina unlocks the secrets of her past, she will make a dangerous discovery that could threaten all she loves and the very future of a nation.
Welcome to Ravka . . . a world of science and superstition where nothing is what it seems.
Back cover of Six of Crows, first book in the Six of Crows Duology:
Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price―and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can't pull it off alone. . . .
A convict with a thirst for revenge. A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager. A runaway with a privileged past. A spy known as the Wraith. A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums. A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.
Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz's crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction―if they don't kill each other first.
The Grishaverse is a group of series that are all set within the same universe where magic runs wild and the world-building-- from the culture of each country to the unique landscapes--is so phenomenal that you almost wish you could jump right into the book like Blue’s Clues and live there forever.
Leigh Bardugo is my favorite author of all time.
Her writing is beyond any other tier that I have every had the pleasure to read, to the point where I couldn’t read any other books for a good year after finishing the Six of Crows Duology because it set my standards so high for YA fantasy.
There are many books within the Grishaverse-- including the Grisha Trilogy, the Six of Crows Duology, the King of Scars series, and the Language of Thorns storybook--but you don’t have to have read one series to understand the other.
Personally, I like the Six of Crows Duology better than the Grisha Trilogy; it was written afterward and the writing and storytelling is far more evolved and sophisticated.
But even so, Leigh Bardugo really is an incredible storyteller, so if you can get your hands on any of these books, please do!

Y/C = Your country
You couldn’t believe it. This was it, the trip you had wanted to go on for so many months.  It was hard to wrap you’re head around it. Usually when you were talking about places you wanted to visit, different countries and so forth it almost never happened. Especially not if It was to far away. But there you were waiting by the gate at the airport for a plane that was going to take you to South Korea. A 16 hour-long journey and that would be it. Your family was hesitant to let you go because it was so far away but they knew that it was something that you really wanted to do for yourself. They were afraid that you would like it way more than you’re small boring home country, and it would compel you to settle down there. And in the back of your mind you had already thought about it. But you promised your family that you would come back home.
Right before you got on the plane you got a text from your mother.
(Ice Mommy) : Hi love! I hope you will have a safe trip and call me the first thing you do when you land. I love you so much and I miss you so much already!
PS. Be carful of pickpockets, hold your bags tight. Xx
She was already so worried about you.  In the text she seamed composed but you had learnt to read between the lines. She was extremely worried. You hade never been this far from home before and who could blame her for worrying.
(You) : Hi mom, were about to take off any second now. Everything is going well! I love you to but I promise you this time will fly by and will see each other soon. Haha I will mom, love you xx
You started to settle in to your seat and looked out the window when the plane started to take off. You caught yourself smiling and with butterflies in your stomach but you couldn’t distinguish if it was just the feeling of the plane lifting or it hade to do with that you actually went through with this journey. Ether way it didn’t matter, you were happy.
After many hours of looking out the window and drifting in and out of sleep the captain informed that we were about to touch down in Seoul. You felt groggy from the long journey when you stood and awaited your luggage. You were probably pretty jet lagged, but you had never flown this far away before so you could only guess that was what this feeling was. Once you got your luggage you went to search for the cab driver that was going to take you to the place you were going to stay. You walked out to arrivals and saw an older man holding up a sign with you’re name on it. Miss. Y/N to be more exact. In your home country they didn’t use miss and mister, it was refreshing and a bit fun. You waved at the older man and started to walk towards him. He greeted you, and to your surprise he spoke to you in English. Well it wasn’t that hard to figure out that you weren’t from here and he was just being polite. But you instantly greeted him back in Korean. You didn’t want to waste all those hours you put down to learn Korean all by your self back home. He was surprised and flashed you a big grin and told you to follow him to the car. Once seethed in the car and the old man started driving he started to ask you what such a sweet young girl was doing all by her self in Korea. You told him that this was one of your dreams and he chuckled. With that the driver smiled once again and said ¨Well, welcome to Korea Y/N. I think you’re going to have a wonderful time here!¨ His kind words warmed your hearth and you were happy that the first person you met were so nice and welcoming. ¨Thank you, I believe I will¨
The place that you were staying at was a pretty nice place. An apartment with a small kitchen, living room and a good-sized bedroom. You hade first planned to stay at a hostel or hotel. But your mom and dad felt it was safer to rent an apartment instead. You were happy that they came up with that idea. This was mush more comfortable than a hotel room or a hostel. Since you were going to stay for a couple of months this was almost cheaper as well. And that made your wallet happy. And this way you didn’t have to put out so much money one eating food out. You could just go to one of the markets and by some ingredients and cook back at the apartment.
Before you turned in for the night you picked up your phone to call your parents. The call was short, but you just wanted to tell them that you had settled in and that everything was fine. With that you threw yourself on to the big bed and drifted off to sleep, you were so exited to what these mouths here had in store for you.
The next day you had gone to the store to buy some things you needed for the kitchen so that you could make yourself some breakfast and so it lasted for a couple more days. You also picked up some necessities all girls need. You spent most of the morning settling in to the new apartment. Hung up your clothes and fixed the shelf’s in the bathroom. When you were all done you decided to jump in to the shower quickly before going out to get to know the city.
You walked around for hours you didn’t even notice how long you had been out. So mesmerized by your new surroundings. You were abruptly woken up from your hypnosis when your stomach rumbled so loudly you almost thought the people that passed you by noticed. You decided to still your hunger and you went in to a small bar you saw across the street. ¨Some food and a beer would be nice right now¨ you said to yourself. You ran over the street and went in to the bar. Once there you walked up to the bartender and ordered some nachos and a beer. You waited by the bar while your order was getting ready. You looked around the bar, it was a small bar with dark interior, almost like one of those sports bar you had been to when you were in London. You had always liked these kinds of bars. There was something warm and cozy about them. When your order was finished you took your food and beer and went over to what almost looked like a small scene with one step up were there stood two old brown chesterfield sofas with a small round coffee table in the middle. A meter long fence made out of wood enclosed the scene; it looked like small columns like they have on buildings but on a much smaller scale of course. You sat your beer and food down on the coffee table and sunk down on the comfortable sofa. You sat so that you had a panoramic view of the place, you could see the whole bar from were you sat. The bar must have a slow night cause there were only a couple other guests there. You ate some of your food and drank your beer in peace while you sank your self down in one of your books about sightseeing in Seoul that your sister bought for you just before you left for Korea.
After an hour or so and three more beers, it was almost 22.00. Your head snapped from the book when you herd the door open. In came two younger men that headed straight to the bar to order some drinks. They were dressed nicely in jeans and black hoodies and long jackets that almost hit the floor. They both had masks on their faces. You never really understood the meaning behind them but you knew that they hade become quit a fashion trend in many Asian countries. One of the men had a black fisherman’s hat as well. It almost looked like they were trying to hide themselves. You could see that one of them hade silver blonde hair and the other one charcoal black. You didn’t think much more of them and turned your eyes back to your book.
After a while you started to feel like the younger men were staring at you, so you turned your gaze towards them and looked the silver haired man straight in his eyes to see what his problem was. There was something familiar with him, almost like you hade either met him before or seen him. But that weren’t possible. The silver haired man didn’t stop staring at you, so there you were having a stair off with some guy you didn’t know. It started to feel uncomfortable but you didn’t want to lose this battle. But it became too much and you returned your gaze to your book. You could see in the corner of your eye that the men were headed straight your way. You didn’t look up when the to men stat them self’s down on the sofa opposite to you.
¨Hello¨ you herd a deep voice say. You hade no other choice than took look up at the men sitting in front of you. Now without their mask and hat. You froze. Now you knew why they looked so familiar. Its was fricking Jungkook and Taehyung from BTS, one of the most famous kpop bands in the world, and on of your favorite bands.
You couldn’t believe it, how did this happen and why would they sit down here with you?! You almost felt like this was some kind of dream and that in any second you were going to wake up in your bed. You never told anyone except your best friend F/N that they were one of the reasons that you got interested in Korea, or more Korean men.. And here you were sitting in a small bar in the outside of the city not with one but with two of the members from BTS. And one of your favorites non the less. Taehyung just ticked all of your boxes; he was wicked good looking, funny, cute and that amazing smile of his. You snapped out of your chock and hoped that it didn’t show on your face as much as it felt it did. ¨Hi there¨ you said way more confidently than you thought you were going to be able to. ¨Why are you sitting here all alone?¨ Jungkook asked with a smug smile on his face. That smile, oh my god, that smile you thought to your self. It sent shook waves all over your body. ¨Well, I was just out and about getting to know my knew surroundings when I craved a beer and some food¨ you sad with a chuckle. ¨Knew surroundings you say, hmm, were are you from then?¨Taeyuang asked while looking at you from head to toe up and down. You still tried to compose yourself, but you felt that you were doing pretty well considering. ¨I’m from Y/C.¨ You looked back and forth from Jungkooks and Taehyungs faces to see what they thought about that. Jungkook Just nodded while Taehyung stared you deep in the eyes and smiled. ¨Y/C you say? We have been there before, but it was a couple of years ago now, isn’t that right kookie?¨ ¨Yeah we have, it’s a beautiful country. How do you know Korean though? I must say that I’m pretty impressed by the way you speak Haden it been for you looks I would have thought you were from here.¨ You started to feel warm all over your body, you could feel how your cheeks started to redden by his praise. It was childish really but you couldn’t help it. ¨I learned Korean my self back home. When I knew that I was coming here I wanted to be able to speak to people and make new friends. You guys are one of the first people i’ve been speaking to since I came here. I’m glad that you can understand what I’m saying. That must mean that all that hard work was not in vain¨ Taehyung laughed. ¨It sure did I must say.¨ You were thinking about if you should mention that you knew who they were. But you didn’t want so seem as an crazy fan girl and you also thought about how hard it must be for them to go out and making new friends without hearing about their job. So you decided that you wouldn’t say anything unless they brought it up.
Suddenly Taehyung stood up and looks at you with wide eyes. ¨I’m so sorry, we haven’t even asked your name. I was just so caught up in knowing why you were here all alone haha..my name is Taehyung, but you can call me Tae. What’s your name?¨He asked holding his and forward wanting you to shake it. ¨Haha, that’s fine, I didn’t think about it ether. My name is Y/N, nice to meet you Tae¨ Taehyung and you shook hands, then Tae looked over at Jungkook and he immediately bend over the coffee table and introduced himself.
If felt like you sat there talking with them for hours. You spoke about what you were doing here in Korea, what your plans were. But also about many other things, fashion, animals, the culture chock that they thought I was going to go trough. The whole time you were sitting there talking the drinks had piled up on the table. You didn’t know how much you had been drinking but it had to be a lot because you started to feel pretty tipsy and by the looks of it Tae and Jungkook wasn’t immune either. You started to feel Taehyung eying your body whilst Jungkook told some funny story. You tried to concentrate on his story but you couldn’t ignore the looks Taehyung swung your way. He was so intense and you could feel your whole body heating up and your insides twisting. It could be the alcohol though. Why would someone like Taehyung be interested in you. He must have hundreds, no millions of girls swarming round him all the time. But still you couldn’t shake the feeling that he wanted to devoir you. Suddenly Jungkook stood up and announced that he hade to visit the bathroom. Left were you and Taehyung and the sexual tension you thought you felt. After Jungkook was gone Tae switched places so that he sat down next to you. Your body was tingeling with excitement but he didn’t have to know that. It seamed that he was pretty tipsy because it seemed like he no longer knew what personal space was, but you hade nothing against it. You were more than happy to have him this close. You sat next to each other and then he put his arm around your back. You could feel the warmth radiating from him. For a while you just sat there without ether of you saying a word. Then Tae turned in towards you and placed a hand firmly at your upper thigh. His face was less than a couple of cm from yours. He swirled his thump up and down a small perimeter on your thigh and you could feel how you started to get wet down there. How was that even possible, he had barley touched you and you were already so turned on. You just wanted to straddle him right there in front of all the other guests you didn’t even care. Taegyung then suddenly broke the silence that hade washed over you both.
¨When I saw you sitting here all alone earlier, I just had to come and talk to you. I have never seen someone so beautiful as you. There is something special about you, so beautiful¨ Tae looked at you with lust in his eyes. Hungry to crash his lips down at yours. You didn’t know what you should say back to him so instead you dug up your confidence that had almost gone away completely when they had sat down by your table earlier. You eagerly kissed his lips. Taehyung kissed you back with such passion you started to feel a little light headed. The kissed deepened when his though started to graze your lips asking for entrance. You gladly invited him in to your mouth and you could hear a small moan coming from him. You felt so good, because of him but also because how obvious it was that he were effected by you. You broke the kiss and looked deep in his eyes with a smug smile across your lips. Your hand touching his chest up and down with feather like strokes. He watched your hands while he groped your thigh harder. ¨Maybe we should slow down a little. There are still people here and Jungkook will probably come back any second¨ you said to him still grazing your fingers across his chest. He smiled at you squeezing your thigh ¨I suppose you are right. But don’t worry about Jungkook he has already found something else to do¨ Tae looked over at the bar were Jungkook stood and talked to some girls. You guessed that Jungkook saw you getting all handsy when he left the restroom and decided to give you two some space. But to be honest it didn’t seem like he minded that at all. The girls that he talked to almost hung over him, and it didn’t surprise you. He was a very attractive man. You turned back your attention to Taehyung and kissed him lightly on the lips. ¨Maybe we should go somewhere were we could get a little more privacy then? If you would be interested it of course¨ you hoped to god that he would say yes. It was some time since you had gotten with someone and Taehyung would be the perfect ‘’first’’ one since your brake from men. ¨You are speaking my language¨ He said and stood himself up from the sofa while holding out his hand for you to grab and get yourself up. He quickly dressed, put his hat and mask on the told me to wait for him by the door while he went to tell Jungkook were he was going. By the looks of it Jungkook had already gotten that message long before ether off us had. He just laughed and waved Taehyung away. Tae returned to you, took your hand and left the bar.
You decided to grab a cab to your apartment since it was quit a long way to walk. He told you on the way that it would be better to go to your place since he hade roommates and they would most definitely disturb you. You didn’t know if he thought that you didn’t know who he was. But he didn’t seem keen on telling you either. But you thought about how you already knew who all of his roommates were. You couldn’t even imagine going to their place and meet all of them. Especially not knowing what probably were going down once you guys got home to the apartment.
You and Taehyung walked up the stairs to your apartment in silence. The atmosphere was tense and you felt week, like your hole body was about to give out. But you didn’t allow that to happen right now. You were way to excited about what would happen once you got inside your apartment. Standing in front of the door, you searched your bag for the keys. You found them and tried to find the keyhole but without much success. Tae laughed and took the keys from you. Of course he had no trouble unlocking the door. You blamed the alcohol and laughed nervously. But deep down you knew that it had nothing to do with that.  You walked in to the apartment and told Tae to make him self at home. You watched him walk towards the sofa in the living room while you went in to the kitchen to bring you guys some beer.
Once you went back to the living room you watched how Taehyung had sat down on the sofa with his hands on the pillows. He looked so good. Before you joined him you walked over to your stereo and put on some low playing music just to lighten the mood and make the silence go away. You noticed how he followed your every move. You saw him standing up and how he started to walk towards you from the corner of your eye. But you didn’t move from the stereo. You wanted to see what he would do. Suddenly he hugged you from behind holding his arms around your waste, you gasped at the sensation, slowly swaying you side to side to the music. His face cupped on your shoulder pressing light kisses on your ear and the down to your neck. You hummed your approval, and you could here him smile against your neck. ¨Yeah, you like that don’t you?¨ He teased as he whispered in your ear. His low voice send chills up and down your spine. ¨I do, I like it very much..¨ You said with a tremble in your voice. ¨What would you like me to do to you huh? I know what I want to do to you, and I knew it from the second a laid my eyes on you¨ He continued kissing you, his hands starting to feel your body out. From your waist up, along your stomach till they reached your breasts and his hands started to massage them. You could feel how your panties started to get soaked through. So little it took to have such of an effect on you, his voice, his hands caressing your body. ¨Is that so? Why don’t you just tell med that instead? I’m intrigued.¨ You flung your head back to give I’m better access to your neck, and he jumped for the opportunity. He pressed his body hard against yours so that you could feel his erect member pressing against your ass. ¨Do you feel how worked up you have made me? All I want to do is to tear this dress off your body and kiss every inch of you. You are so beautiful, but I can bet that you are even more beautiful out of that dress, don’t you think?¨ You reached your hands up to curl your fingers through his thick well styled hair. ¨Please tear it off.. I want to feel your hands all over me. I’m getting all wet just thinking about what your hands can do to my body¨
With that Taehyung turned you to face him and he immediately ripped the dress off you. You gasped when the fabric ripped in half to reveal your almost naked body. Tae stepped back for a moment looking at you up hand down and hummed in approval. Then he reached to the hem of his shirt and pulled it of him and then the same to his pants so that he was left with only his black boxer. You hade seen men without clothes before but damn, this was completely different. He was more fit than you thought. But all you had seen before were only pictures and videos on social medias and they didn’t do him justice. He was lean but still well built, and it almost looked as he was glowing. What a sight.
You both stood there for a couple off minutes just to take in each other’s bodies. ¨Oh my god. You look so good. Ready to eat don’t you think? I bet you taste like a slice of heaven¨ You laughed at his bluntness and gave him a teasing smile. He lifted his gaze off you and in less then a second he stood in front off you lifting you up so that he held one leg in each hand. You could feel his hard dick rubbing against your wet core while he carried you to the bedroom.
He laid you down on the bed and then crawled up between your legs. He flashed you a sweet and teasing smile as he leaned over you to kiss you. You couldn’t take this. It all went to slow, you had been worked up for hours and you needed some release right now. With that in your mind you grabbed him by the shoulders and swung both of you around so that you straddled his crotch. Tae was shocked by your sudden determination but you could see clearly that he liked it. ¨Eager are we? I knew you were a wild one the instant I saw you. Isn’t that right baby? He said as he brought his hands up to cup your face, bringing you down to his face and kissing along your jawline up to your ear and the down your neck. The sensation made you shiver and you let out a loud moan. You were to worked up to get out anything in response so you just replied him with starting to grind on his erect cock. Hard but slow, back and forth. He helped you intensify it by meeting your movements and in a short while the room was filled with both of your moans. ¨You feel so good grinding on my hard cock baby¨ He said while e flung his head back on to the pillow. You decided to teas him a bit to get him to feel how he had made you feel the entire evening. You usually didn’t do much dirty talk but with Taehyung it seemed different. And you could tell that it was one off his kinks. ¨Yeah? You like feeling my soaked through panties grinding up and down you’re big cock ha?I love it, your cock is so big and I want to taste every inch off it¨ You said this while continuing your grinding and looking him right into his eyes. With your words he started to squirm under you and let out some low grunts. ¨God you are so dirty, I love it¨ He said whilst he put his hands on your thighs and squeezed them harshly then reached down to your as and slapped it hard with one off his hands. You gasped at the feeling. It didn’t hurt, it made you clench your walls around nothing. You were so ready for him. You lifted your self off him and crawled back and sat on your knees. You leaned over him to give him a small peck on the lips. You then presided to kiss him from his neck down to his nipples and down over his defied abs. When you reached his boxer you played with the hem.
You looked up to him to see how he liked what you were doing. But you couldn’t see his face because it was buried in the pillow. When he lifted his head from the pillow you could see that his eyes was closed and that he gritted his teeth. You slowly returned your attention to his boxers and hooked two fingers inside the hem and started to slid them down and off him. Once the boxers landed on the floor you couldn’t stop looking at the surprisingly big cook that emerged in front off you. It looked so hard that it could burst any given minute. You started to kiss him everywhere around his cock but not were he wanted you the most. You noticed him propping him self up on his elbows to see what you were doing. You knew you hade teased him for a good while and decided to give him some release. You brought your hand up to grab his balls, massaging them lightly. His whole body twitched at the sensation and with that you took his hard cock inside of your mouth. Like you had no time to spear you immediately took his whole length down your throat so that you were deep throating him. You could feel the tip at the back of your throat almost making you gag. You looked up to se Tae’s face expressing, pure bliss. He met your gaze and reached out his hand to get your hair away from your face. ¨Oh shiit.. If you keep going like that I’m going to cum any second. How are you so good at th..oo fuck¨ He was caught off when you started to swallow around his length. You continued bobbing your head up and down, taking in the feel of him in your mouth. He was heavy on your tongue and the taste of him was like the best flavored candy you had ever tasted. With that you decided it was enough. You didn’t want him to cum to fast.
You reached your hands behind your back and unclasped your bra and threw it behind you on the floor. Tae’s hands reached for your breast immediately massaging them with a good amount of pressure. ¨You are so fucking sexy Y/N. So beautiful, your perfect¨ And with that said he dove mouth first down to one off your breast to suck your nipple. Gently sucking and licking one of your nipples while his other hand continued to massage the other. You signed out in pure pleasure. It was so long since a man made you feels this way. And although you hadn’t come very far you could already tell that this was going to be the best sex you have had in a long time. You removed Tae’s hands from your body laid yourself down on your back and seductively slid off your thongs while still holding on to the eye contact with him. You wanted to see how he would react. What you could see by his facial expression could just be explained as pure hunger. You slowly spread your legs wide so that he could see every inch of you. ¨Do you like what you see Taehyung? Look how wet you have made me. My pussy is begging to be filled, its s-ooo e-empty¨ You stammered while flashing a fake pout and big puppy eyes. In one swift move Tae sifted from his position so that he now laid with his face between your legs he looked up at you and lifted one of his eyebrows. He looked so sexy between you legs, and you still couldn’t believe that Kim Taehyung laid their intoxicated by you. ¨You are such a teas Y/N, you are driving me crazy. And I can promise you that I will fuck you so hard that you will have trouble walking tomorrow, would you like that baby?¨ He started kissing your thighs, still looking deep into your eyes while he waited for your response. You couldn’t help but quiver under his touch and a couple of week moans left your mouth when you herd the words coming out off his mouth. ¨O-oh my god Tae, pleas just fuck me. I need you so bad¨ You said. ¨Oh I will, but first I’m going have a taste of you¨ And with that he faced your wet throbbing pussy and licked your slit all the way from your entrance up to your clit where he stopped and started sucking. The feeling was amazing. You had never felt this way before when someone hade been eating you out. It was always pleasant but not as good as this. You didn’t know if it was because of how turned on you were by him or if all the others that hade done this on you before just sucked at it.
You were a moaning mess when he continued his movements. He suddenly looked up at you and you whined from the loss of stimulation. ¨mmh shit, You taste so sweet, just like I imagined. I could stay down here for hours you taste so good¨ When that was said he retuned down to your clit and started kitten lick it the taking your sensitive nub in to his mouth again and started sucking. You could feel how he stared circling one of his long slender fingers around your entrance, coating it with your juices before pushing it inside of you. You, Laing down on your back, mouth agape moaning his name while he started thrusting his finger faster in and out of you. He then adding another finger, he curled his fingers inside of you and you could feel how your high was approaching.
¨Taehyung, Tae, stop!¨You almost screamed out. Tae’s movements came to an abrupt stop while his head flung up to look at you his face flashing true concern. ¨What is it?! Did I hurt you? I’m so sorry oh my god!¨He truly looked terrified. You swung yourself up on your knees simultaneously pushing him down the bed to his back. You then started to crawl on top of him. ¨Oh, no! Of course you didn’t! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you like that. I.. its just that I was so close to cum and I didn’t want to come until I had your cock inside me¨ You looked down at his chest shyly, a little bit embarrassed. ¨Oh.. OH. I see, that we can fix baby¨  you could see the relief in his eyes while taking your chin between his fingers pushing himself up to give you an hungry kiss. When you broke the kiss it almost looked like he was even more turned on by your words. And to be true, it boosted your ego.
You probed your self up and reached your hand between your legs to grab his cock. You lifted your self up and positioned your self with him, slowly pushing yourself down on his dick. The sensation stole some moans from both you and Taehyung as the feeling of him filling you up intoxicated both of you. When you sat down on him completely you slowly started to move back and forth, while having your palms securely placed on his chest. Tae reached his hands for your ass, gripping both of your cheeks with force as he helped you with your movements. ¨Shit Y/N. You feel so tight, so warm and wet. You like riding my cock huh?¨He said mouth half opened gasping for air. ¨I do, your cock I so big Tae. Its filling me up so good. I cant wait till you cum deep inside my pussy¨ You said while continuing riding him, picking up your pace white every grind of your hips. Tae loosened the grip on one of your ass cheeks and slapped it hard with made you moan even loader making your walls clench around his dick. He could feel it, and it felt so good for him, almost to good. ¨You are so dirty aren’t you? Look how eagerly you are riding my cock huh?¨ He said while he started to thrust harder and harder in to you. ¨You feel so good around my cock baby. You want me to cum in your pussy hah?¨ He said while looking you deep in the eyes and giving you another hard slap on your as. He the proceeded to lift your hips with his hands to start drill his cock inside of you from below. It felt so good, and you could feel the knot starting to form inside your stomach. You looked down on Taehyung and you could see the sweat pearling on his face and chest. He looked out of this world drilling into you from underneath. You would never forget this moment.
You reached down to rub your clit to help yourself reaching your high while Taehyung continued. ¨Tae im..im, going to.. omg. Pleas cum inside me. I want to feel all of you¨ You could feel how close you were to coming, you felt your walls starting to clench around his cock. ¨Come for me baby, I want to feel you cum all over my hard dick shiit!¨ And that was all you needed to hear as your orgasm washed over you. Tae still fucking you hard through your high, your legs started to shake and clenching around his dick uncontrollably, your back arched and head flung back. ¨Omg Tae!¨ You practically screamed out. In one swift move Tae swung you around so that you laid on your back. He continued fucking you harder then you ever felt as he was chasing his own high. You decided to help him along and started to clench around him to give him more pleasure. ¨Oh shit Y/N! Your so good, im go…nna cum any second shit¨ He was a panting mess. You loved seeing him coming undone by your touch. ¨Yeah?cum for me baby! I want to feel you cum inside me. You have been so good to me tonight, now cum. Please I wan to be filled up by you!¨ Taehyung grunted and moaned, going crazy by your words. It only took a couple more sloppy thrusts until he pushed himself inside you as deep as was possible and came inside you. You could feel the warmth off his release. You preceded with clenching around him to milk every last drop out of him. Whit that, he collapsed on top of you, panting in your ear.
He rolled off you so that he laid beside you. Both of you silent, staring up at the ceiling. You were the one to break the silence, and all you could muster was ¨Holy shit¨. He looked over at you and smiled, kissing you on your cheek. His demeanor had completely changed. From the dominant and dirty talking man to something more innocent. ¨That.. you were amazing, are amazing¨ He said while kissing you on the lips once more. ¨You are to, I have never felt anything like that before¨ You confessed shyly looking away from him. He turned over to his side propping him self up on his elbow, reaching out his hand to your breasts and slowly starting to trace the outline of them with his slender finger. ¨Neither have I¨ He said continuing playing with his fingers on your chest. You did as he and rolled over to your side so that you were face to face. You both laid there, him playing with his fingers on your chest, you tracing the outline of his face and hair with yours. You stayed like this for some time, neither of you knew for how long. It felt so good and intimate, even more so then the sex.
Suddenly you could feel the aftermath of the act as his cum started to sip out onto your thighs. You slung your self up sitting on the bed a bit embarrassed. Tae flinched at your sudden movement. ¨Whats wrong?¨ He asked carefully. First looking at your face the down to your hands, which were cupping your core. He looked up at your face again with a smug grin on his face. There he was, the other side of him. ¨Oh.. haha. Let me help you with that¨ He said giving you a kiss on your forehead while lifting himself up to walk over to the bathroom, still completely naked. What a sight. He came back from the bathroom white a dampened towel. ¨Lean back baby, let me take care of you¨ You were slightly chocked by his actions. ¨I can fix it myself, you don’t have to¨ But he ignored you and pushed you down on the bed and spread your legs. It felt weird, and for some reason you felt so exposed. But when you looked at his face giving you a reaching smile you calmed down and the embarrassment faded away. He broke away from your eyes as they traveled down between your legs. He carefully wiped you clean and then threw the towel in the laundry bin. You looked at him while he returned to your bed patting at the spot beside him for you to come and lay down next to him. He really wanted to stay here? You thought to yourself. What about the other members, wouldn’t they be worried about him? But you couldn’t ask him about it either. Since he didn’t know that you knew. Or did he? You pushed you thoughts away and crawled up beside him. You both laid on your sides, him holding you tight in his arm from behind. You were completely drained off all your energy. And you could feel yourself drifting off to sleep while Taehyung left small kisses along your shoulder. This was the best night of your life.

Facebook Insomnia 7.25.2021 1. I am still sad to conceptualize life in terms of fiction and the condition of fiction rather than Christianity undivided.   Today I had a lot of images of Japan in my mind.  I heard the phrase 'Japanese Breakfast' which is the rock-star name of the author of 'Crying at H-Mart' a famous book. I remembered someone who once dated someone who became my enemy. This person I respected I now realize and I am happy that I didn't say anything excessively stupid that would have implied I look down on her, saw her as easy, saw her as 'material to work on,' someone to have a plan for etc.   I asked her once for help getting someone to interview at Deloitte for consulting only this person was in Accounting. I never really saw this person as in my league or anything to me except as a 'Curriculum Developer' I guess I outranked her and so wasn't shy of talking to / with her in official functions.   Later we drank together and I said a few random things like that I stress- / binge-eat apples, like 5 apples a night. My friend once did a funny imitation of her that in retrospect sounded a little like my Taiwanese ex-girlfriend's imitation of Kaori Mochida from Every Little Thing; the funny thing I now realize is that he too had lingering affection for her despite everything.  I feel he became anti-Korean racist and I don't know where he is now but in retrospect he definitely never crossed a line with her that I know of except for asking questions I would never ask.  He called her by her Asian name which was something I never did in those days feeling it pretentious.   'The mysterious maiden of the Moon...' - It's a line from Yi Kwangsu's 'The Soil' in which a married man is comparing his wife with someone else like his former student.  In good Korean custom since his former student once had a puppy-crush on him and gave him some corn, when her husband finds out, he kicks her to death in her pregnant stomach and this is why I oppose many things in principle such as tribalism, marriage, and for all intent and purposes the nuclear family. Yi Kwangsu is a problematic figure and as a Christian or aspiring Christian / 'Christianist' I don't recommend it.  It has incredibly exquisite descriptions of women that could make you brain-dead.  Yi Kwangsu also supposed Japan's occupation of Korea so that to this day talking about Yi Kwangsu can get you crucified.   I also seem to recall something like '_ _-ya, you got run over by a train you one-legged prostitute; now you have to love your husband even more.'  But I don't remember the context. Ironically or not 'The Soil' is the title of a Knut Hamsun novel the author of which supported Hitler; I do not.   I wonder where she is now. This person got shot at a lot and I regret adding to her burdens with my sin-eater-type confessions or just shooting my mouth off when stuff happened.  I had a crush on someone else and started saying I was sad I lost my virginity in college; IDK why I said anything. This person also had high alcohol-tolerance - extremely high for a female Asian - and although I could also drink a lot I always did bad self-destructive things. In the Middle Ages one form of 'trial by ordeal' was to reach your hand in to boiling water to pull out a pearl and if the boiled skin healed well you were exonerated or sth.   She must be 'somebody's everything; my impossible girl.'  IDK why she talked to me and I made fun of her and all my fictionalized versions of her and theories of her were derogations.   Like me she played the piano. She once said '_ _ is popular' which was a burn I appreciate since I'm anti-popularity and anti-personality-cults. She went to a school part of which is Victoria College where a literary critic I admire(d) taught for many years. I am stuck in America, hounded by Satan through the personages of my Maoist biological family and 'family tree' of America torn between past and future, un-death and life; due in large part to my excessive tendency to defend myself, to lash out, to wash my hands on the outside without cleaning my 'interior mentality' to paraphrase the 'Da Xue,' or to blaspheme the Spirit in some respects, I feel. I regret talking about her and at the same time why would I talk about lesser maidens? IDK what her favorite piano-piece was as I never endeavored to enage her in discourse about art or aesthetics given she is not a 'kisaeng' or 'geisha' and I am not a museum-curator or whatever.  Other people would be like 'Oh!  You lke the Grande Valse Brilliante; I know you spent the summer of 2003 teaching yourself repeat-notes.'   Everyone wants to drag everyone in to their mud or graves these days.  Am reminded of Endo Shusaku's 'Silence' about why Jesuits would apostasize in medieval Japan.  His conclusion was that the 'swamp of Japan' was too full of sensualism, the Portuguese Jesuit wanted a Japanese mistress or wife.  I once yelled 'swamp f-ggot' at someone due to their tendency to emotionalize and 'contextualize' everything which was an underhanded way of trying to make me change my sex as well.  In an effort to mitigate some of the tempting evil pornographic things I said about KR over the years I said a few more but this is a person, whose name means 'Pearl' as in 'the pearl of great price for which oe sold everything else.'  It is said that AAPI Twitter, America, house-slave Am-Kor own-goal Korean self-exploitation honor-killing squadsters, etc. want to these people in the trash. I found my Gideon Kor-Eng NT Psalms with the 'victory song' that sounds like Mandarin in its Revelation, that I had worried I'd lost.  That might be the 'most grateful' thing that 'happened.' I also remembered what my Mandarin name used to be though I had many in different classes I took. I was going to say many things, but in the end: the mystery of Charity.
*
I never considered the full implications of socialism or mental socialism till today.  I assumed that it was valid mitigation.  Some are born rich, some are born poor, it's wrong to let the latter starve on principle alone.   I don't even know how to say this.  I remember during the Iraq War being struck by how much the government - like my mom - was asking outsiders for advice about how to fight.  Dick Cheney got in trouble.  Years later I was skeptical of the F-35 because a lot of idiots with no skin in the game wanted to build it here or there. Wisconsin wanted to build the 'Littoral Combat Ship' which who cares. It made people worse and worse. The only thing is, the CCP - who ultimately serve I dare not even say whom, but clearly not the ghosts of Karl Marx or Vladimir Lenin or perhaps even Mao Zedong - figured out awesome killer ways to troll Republicans like Scott Walker w/ their 'FoxConn Fallujah hokey-pokey' whereby they got an avowed capitalist to promise socialists something that actually came from-post-hyper-anti-socialist hyper-capitalists with a plan to kill all white people or something. My father used to talk about the University of Chicago School of Economics all the time and it made me sulkily ask myself why 'Poor Dad' is talking so much about stuff that supposedly makes people billionaires while Jacob's English major dad is Bloomberg's 'chief of staff.'   I say again it's just like Biden saying all the right stuff, 'knee on the neck of the American soul, bone of our bone, winter of peril, hey dumbfuck, articulate, they're killing people.' Writing grant-proposals to the government to fund private research in to brain-injury that is itself applied by the government to veterans sent to get brain-damaged by a government that said good things and did retarded things based on their readings of the good things they said a bit like Karenin in 'Anna Karenina.'   I remember when George W. Bush said 'I'm the decider.'  I once told my dad to get out of my face so he got really sloshed up and vapored, 'I'm in your face!'  I'm not even saying that to defame someone but welcome to reality. Every so often every male seems to try to man up then they defend themselves like, 'No that is not the way in which I meant that I was manning up.'  You could call this 'self-draft-dodging.' It's ancient history but if I had been wiser I would have tried to predict the future for myself rather than visualize it as an abstract spectatorial notion.  At day's end mental socialists can literally not understand why it is wrong to steal.  Stealing is compulsory under socialism - I again come back to 'Pearl' since her ex-suitor and I used to reflect on how Korean collectivism drove people into themselves.  Similarly mental socialists cannot but hoard 'capabilities' so that in the end they'll falsify anything, steal anything; the only limit I guess is living with themselves.
I keep giving myself to fantasy and coping of all kinds like a 'mental Changrae Lee novel, mental David Guterson novel,' or ultimately Vergil (Virgil).  There has to be a new music, a new dream, something, a new city, though it is odd to think about pre-Christian times and a legend of what came before Rome in a Christian moment amid realignment in 'late Roman history.' My favorite YAL book still perhaps is 'The Giver' since it deals with the uses of history, with abortion, and with escape or exile.   I was going to say a while back something about 'Light in August' which relates to escape - as well to complacence - and to interracial relationships, pregnancy, the right to live.  I was in Minneapolis but mind was on Japan, on all these swords, not the Olympics but histories of swords and strange armor, halberds.  There was a huge sword called a 'field sword' in translation. I don't even want to see these people again; I sincerely pray the Japanese Prime Minister, the men and women of their armed forces, Tokyo's apparently amazing counter-terrorism and response capabilities for NBC / WMD / etc. attacks since the Aum Shinrikyo Sarin subway attacks and maybe their counter-nuclear or ability to respond after a nuclear blast will be enough.  People in America are trying to live by a little of the old, a little of the new, but it seems utterly impossible. When people abuse me I get really dreamy.  I read Virgil in high school; I was thinking of 'post-Covid YAL' or so in which people are just on the run, harrowing themselves, not even nostalgic for Babylon or anything in it.  It is almost like 'the meaning of the soul.'  I realized that in addition to new churches and new government laws Covid will engender new birth-defects and there will have to be new medicine.  Japan is a country that I said bad things about especially when in Korea but she never did anything bad to me - I remember playing 'Final Fantasy' and thinking someone out there loves me; they made an investment in children worldwide.  The only thing is I'm too old for such adventures and I fall apart quickly. All these birds in Japan, colors of red - people get obsessed with the Otherness of Japan and want to abnegate Belial-like (a demon or fallen angel of sensualism, to my understanding).
I took so many notes and voice-notes yesterday that I devoutly hope my visions will pass to someone.  The future is going to be so beautiful for somebody but I have lost so much faith in my ability to mitigate or restrain evil.  Those who I had thought were simply stupid but were diabolically opposed to my existence - whom I did not wish to understand and whom I had 'fancied' I could placate or appease through offerings - turned out to be radically evil, unconditionally evil.  I feel that my father (biological) would steal my soul if he could; would eat it in a way.  My mom is always sitting on the porch and gives a look of hope like I could change her mind but it'll never happen.  I want to kill myself; I think things worldwide will get worse before they get better; I don't trust Biden or anyone who says the right things without showing exactly what they are doing.  Christians seem so petty sometimes like melanin, hairy legs, in Japan this therefore that, Native American Indian manhood rituals.   I just want to know which pastor has the 'batting average' I can believe in but it has to be John MacArthur doesn't it?

{Part 2}
Pairing: Reader X Yoongi
Word Count: 6,748
Genre: Romance, Smut, Fluff
Warnings: Smut, daddy kink, cursing Summary: After dating for almost 3 years, the armys and Yoongi’s label have found out about your relationship. Now you have to deal with it in your extraordinarily normal life.
I didn’t mean to start dating Min Yoongi. I’d simply gone into New York City. I had taken the day off from work weeks in advance and gone in with my friends then ran into him at Bryant Park. I’d heard BTS before, but honestly, I had no clue that they were there at that time. I later learned it was for some meeting, but we never really talked about the details of one of our favorite days.
We’d made eye contact. He was in front of the fountain taking pictures of it and himself, and I’d noticed him out of the corner of my eye. When we tell this story, he likes to say that I was staring at him with heart eyes. In reality, I watched him for 10 seconds and within that time he’d notice me and given me a coy smile. Then he jogged back over to Jimin and Namjoon and I shook my head clear of that and back into my friends conversation.
I hadn’t noticed the 3 boys following us across the street into Kinokuniya Bookstore. We simply went across the street to look at the manga, figures, and all of the cute stationary. I was there with my two best friends, Alicia and Julianna. They had wandered off, crying about some manga about stray dogs and I was alone in the basement of the store, looking at the stationary when I felt a heat on the back of my neck. I always got nervous when I was alone, simply because I had some terrible anxiety.
I was the mom friend in the group, so I had to take charge in certain situations. For some reason, inside of flight I choose fight. Boy, was it the right choice. I’d turned around the see who was staring at me and it was him, Him with his blonde hair. Him with his soft face. Him with his all black outfit and snapback, hiding from the world.
Before I got the chance to ask why he was staring at me, he stepped closer and held out his hand.
“Min Yoongi.” he introduced and I shook it.
“(Y/N) (Y/L/N). Can I asked why a perfectly good stranger has been watching me like some creep.”
He chuckled. I melted. “Well, I can’t help myself to do anything, but to look at you. You kind of have my full attention and I also thought it was a little creepy. Obviously, you noticed me. So, I thought I would introduce myself.”
“What a gentleman.”
“You know, they have this cute little cafe on the top floor. Wanna come get lunch with me?”
His english was a little broken, but I managed to catch his drift and pick up on what he was saying. The way he spoke was almost rehearsed. Later, I found out that Namjoon helped him learn this little monologue so he could speak to me.
Then it was all a part of history. Our history. The six of us had a lunch together and Yoongi and I hit it off. He was trying so hard to speak my language, even though Namjoon had to help him a bunch. He was so… into me. It was crazy. I’d never had such an instant spark with someone, especially someone so reserved at first. I had always had this weird outgoing, loud guy type.
He was so captivating. He still is. Anyways, that’s how it started. After that lunch, he’d invited us to their concert that night. When I carried on, stressing out about how I had nothing to wear, he just waved me off. My girlfriends laughed at my constant need to worry about the silliest things in the world, just stating “This is how I was.” and that “he’d have to get used to it”. Which he responded with, “I plan on it.”.
On the way out of the store, he grabbed my hand and led me down the avenue. We were both totally aware he had no idea where he was off to, but he’d decided I was going to get a whole new outfit then stay at his hotel. I’d felt like I’d known Min Yoongi for years. His personality just vibed with me and the hotel part didn’t even come across in a creepy way? Then we shopped and went to his show.
Obviously, the next day he was gone. Off to some other city. But he never left me. My days were full of constant texts and calls. My weeks became filled with him flying in whenever he had a day off. My months were made up of stolen kisses and my year ended up in a relationship. It was a secret and we could handle it. The constant separation made keeping this secret from his record label so much easier.
Until 2 years later. 2 years into my bliss, we were caught by one of his fans. He’d flown in for the weekend and one of them had followed the car he got picked up in from the airport all the way to a parking lot of a Mcdonald's where he hopped into my car. We were in for some shit, let me tell you. My mentions were filled and so was my phone. BigHit now owned me in a way, sadly. After signing a bunch of contracts about how I wasn’t playing Yoongi and that I couldn’t run away with his money and I couldn’t reveal more intimate parts of him and if we got married I had none of his BTS assets and all of that dumb shit, I thought it had died down.
The armys didn’t hate me. Well, obviously some did, but the others made me feel welcome. Made me feel less scared about going public with my relationship with my boyfriend of almost 3 years. I was very straight forward with the things I could talk about and did whatever his record label asked me to. At first, it started with an hour long interview, talking about myself and us. Why we kept this all a secret and such. It ended with them surprising me with what I thought was a skype call, but Yoongi ended up being there. After 4 months.
When we were on the skype call, he told me to close my eyes for a moment so he could put on something silly or whatever. Then I smelt him, as weird as it sounds. He wore my favorite cologne and I started crying before he wrapped his arms around me. Within seconds I was buried into his chest, sobbing, as he held his hands on my face. He wiped away my tears for camera effect, but he also made sure to block my face from the limelight. He knew I’d be even more upset if there were suddenly gifs of me hysterical on the internet.
So, blah blah blah, right? Now, I’ll bring us to today. Currently, I was hiding in the fridge at my job at a super market deli. My manager knew I was in here and I was even preparing food in here to go in the showcase. Currently there were a bunch of pre-teen girls standing at the counter, all looking for me. It’d been like this for the past week and my manager Steve happened to feel bad for me today.
A few hours earlier, my twitter started to go crazy. The Big Hit account had decided to use me for some retweets and tweeted out my work address. So now it looked like I was having a fucking meet and greet, so I decided to be trapped in the fridge. Yep.
Steve walked in and kind of chuckled at me as I packed some yams into a dinner container. “I know you’re having a hard time out there, but we could really use you. It’s a little busy out there. It’s your meet and greet after all.” Then he broke into a full on laughter, patting his chest, to make sure he could still breathe at the end of it. I didn’t laugh because it wasn’t funny. Not funny at all. “I’m glad you’re sticking this out, you know, taking one for the team back here.”
In all reality, I wanted to ask to go home. It was starting to get cold and I forgot a jacket, but I needed the money. Not all of us could be K-pop idols and I didn’t want to really want to have to rely on him for money. Well, he sort of ruined my job. And my life. Maybe I could bill him for work interruption. I’ll sue him. That’s it, I’ll sue him. I’m not exactly sure for what yet, but I texted informing him about the lawsuit. He didn’t respond.
He also didn’t respond to my 20 other texts messages freaking out about the armys at my job or about how his record label was trying to sabotage our relationship. He was probably in the middle of overworking himself in whatever country he was in today. I had stopped trying to keep up with each individual one and just knew the basic area of where he was. I think it was Korea. Or maybe Japan. I knew it wasn’t America. That was in half a week.
They had a 2 weeks vacation and he’d decided to spend it with me. Every time he got a break, he tried to waste it all on me. I always bullied him into going home to be with his family or spend time with the band and the last 4 days would be reserved for us. This time he’d convinced me to let him stay with me the whole time. He’d even called my store and requested the two weeks off for me as he planned whatever he was going to do. So, starting Monday I would no longer be trapped here, I guess.
As soon as all of the dinner were packed, I stacked them onto a tray and kicked open the fridge door, subsequently hitting one of the chef's, Mike, with it. “Ahh, she emerges.” he joked, pushing my hat lower over my eyes. “Maybe you should go say hi to them. They’ve been here since your shift started.” He nodded at the 50 girls filling up the coffee lounge outside of the deli. I swished my mouth back and forth, debating the situation. “I’ll go with you, if that’s what you need. I know you want to, nervous nelly.”
I put the dinners down and grabbed my bag on my way back to my tundra. I pulled up the step ladder and took out my makeup bag, deciding now would be a good time to look good. Of course I wanted to go meet the girls. They made my boyfriend happy and support him. They support us. I guess it really did look bad if I hid all day. I was just so anxious about the entire situation. I wasn’t the famous one. I was kind of just riding along with the love of my life who happened to be a bit popular.
I pulled off my hat and took out the ponytail within my hair. I ran my hands through it and of course it was already a bit knotted. Nothing could ever be easy in my life. Whatever, this was for him. For his label. In the back of my mind I couldn’t shake the horrible feeling that everyone out there would jump me for dating him, but they were there. Here to see me. Hell, what do I even do? I work, I’m not even in school, and I sing in a band that purely plays in my friends garage because we can’t get our act together to even have a name.
I stood up and cleared my throat a bunch. When I got nervous my voice seemed to crack and I stepped out of my tomb. “Wish me luck.” I said to the guys I worked with and they just laughed and waved me off.
I pushed open the double doors and heard a few noises come from the direction I was headed in. “H-Hey guys.” I smiled, giving a little wave to the girls as they proceeded to run over to me and surround me. First, it started slow. I thought maybe they’d kind of stare at me from a distance, but oh no. Of course nothing can be civil and easy with me, can it?
They started getting closer to me and snapping selfies all around me, throwing out questions about Yoongi.
“What’s he like in bed?” I can’t discuss that. I legally can’t.
“Is this just a publicity thing? So the armys can feel like they have a chance?” No, I’m in love with him. He’s in love with me.
“You’re so fucking pretty. It makes me feel so shitty.” I’m so sorry. I’m so so so sorry. Please, don’t feel that way. You’re absolutely beautiful.
“Is BTS gonna tour here soon?” I don’t know.
“Why have you been hiding from us? What exactly are you hiding, Y/N?” Nothing. I was so scared. I’m so scared.
I wanted to respond to everything. I wanted to defend myself. I couldn’t get a word out edgewise, everything was trapped in my thoughts. I just smiled for all of the pictures and videos they were taking of and with me. I didn’t start to cry until I heard Steve yell for me behind the deli counter, asking if I was alright. Then I became hysterical. I covered my face and closed my eyes, only to hear him running across the wooden floor. He lightly pushed through the girls and pulled me out of there, back to my safe haven of the deli fridge.
Fuck.
I’d been excused to leave work early after that and Steve told me not to come in the next day either. After a little bit of a fight about it, he told me to start my days off early and that he’d talk to his boss about asking if those can be paid vacation days. I knew he’d say no however. The store manager had been pushing for me to work more because of all of the business I’d been bringing in by simply working there. We were up by around half a grand a day and boy did that make him look good.
When I pulled into my driveway, I unplugged the aux cord from my car and dialed one of the numbers I knew by heart. Yoongi’s international number. I rarely called him without asking, but I knew he had my phone call volume on. Only when it was an emergency I’d phone him right away.
It rang three times. “Mmmm, baby? What’s up?” Oh, he sounded so sleepy. I felt bad for about 5 seconds before I started yelling.
“How could you sleep through all of my messages? Boy, have I had a day.” I unlocked my door and slammed it behind me, only locking the top lock. I threw myself on the couch as I heard him groaning about sitting up to check his phone.
“Facetime.” Then he hung up and face timed me this time. By this point, I was upside down on my couch with a red face and an angry expression. I hit the green button. “You look so grumpy.” He chuckled.
“I am grumpy. Please don’t go on twitter for a few days?”
“So, armys were at your job.” I saw his face sink a little as he leaned against the wall.
I sat upright and fixed my hair in the camera mirror. “I kind of started crying and I got excused from work until after my vacation days. They probably think I’m crazy, Gloongs.”
“You’re calling me Gloongs? Look at you. The new dwarf in Snow White. Mopey.”
“I’m gonna hang--”
“No. Please no. You’re not okay. I’m sorry this is happening. I’ll fix it.” Then he hung up.
The way he went about his life was so weird to me sometimes. Knowing him, he was back asleep already too. Sleeping sounded like a pretty good idea, actually. I knew I could never take a nap, it was something I had learned to deal with. I’d always wished I could just pass out like my boyfriend. He had this uncanny ability to simply close his eyes and be somewhere else.
I stood from the purple couch in my living room and walked the total 10 feet to my bedroom. I swung open the door and fell straight onto my bed. The phone charger I kept next to my bed was gone and then I just let out my anger by screaming. I didn’t give a fuck about my upstairs neighbor in this moment or the 5 open windows in the little apartment my mother and I stayed in.  I was just frustrated.
The plug had fallen on the floor off of my mattress, luckily. Once my phone was charging, I called up my best friend Alicia. She didn’t pick up and I knew she was also asleep. Of course two of the most important people in my life had these weird sleeping habits I couldn’t get myself into. I could barely sleep as it was, let alone throughout the day.
I called her again as fast as I could. Normally after the first phone call, she grabbed her phone to turn off the volume for the second call. I always begged her not to because if there was a second call it was important, but she didn’t give a shit. It was almost crazy to me how my boyfriend and best friend were so alike. I really couldn’t fathom how I could handle two of them let alone one, but I did it. I guess my type had changed.
I must have called fast enough because I was met with a groan and a, “Ugh, what do you need?”
“Hey,” I almost choked up? I wasn’t sad, just stressed. “Can we do something?”
“Guardians 2 just came out, if you can get us tickets.” Usually, I was met with a no and that she was going back to bed. “What’s wrong with you?”
I put my phone on speaker and opened up the Chrome browser, typing in showtimes near us. “Oh, you know. I’m just casually getting stalked.”
“Yeah? Well, that’s karma.”
“For what?!”
“Dating a superstar. A hot, lazy version of me though. Yeah. Karma.” she broke into a fit of chuckles and I heard her get up and start rummaging through her clothes. “Do I have to dress nice? Am I going to get followed by some paparazzi?” I could hear her trying not to laugh.
“I’m wearing jeans and a fucking hoodie. The next show time is in 40 minutes, I got us side seats. I’m coming to pick you up.” Then I hung up, grabbed my keys, and ran out my door.
The movie was amazing, but my phone call with Yoongi later was not. Halfway through the movie, I remembered that he had wanted to see it with me. Boy, I wasn’t ready for the angry rant I was about to get, but I stayed up til 2 am for it anyways.
“Hey, baby.” I could hear the smile in his voice. He was in the arena in whatever place he was in now, getting ready for his show. “How are you, what’d you do after our call last night? Or your day time.”
“I went to the movies with Ali-”
“No you didn’t.” Oh no. He interrupted me. He was onto me, he knew. “Are you kidding me? I planned the tour around us seeing this movie during my vacation days!” He was screaming now. I heard Hoseok in the background asking him to calm down and heard my precious boyfriend slapping him away. “You know what? I’m done.”
“Done? Dude, come on.”
“You’re fucking coming to Korea on the next flight and we’re seeing it together. You’re off from work anyways, I’m not taking no as an answer. Hoseok, please take my card and find her a flight. I’d do it, but she won’t pack anything that she needs if I hang up to look.”
He was right, sadly. For such a put together person I over packed unessential stuff no matter where I was going. Day trips, week trips, I packed my entire room up for those.  “Don’t make him book me a ticket. I can buy my own.”
He broke into a fit of laughter. “Shut up, no you can’t. I got you out of work, so let me compensate by paying. You also can’t argue with me because it’s done. Check your email.”
He was right, I couldn’t. The flight was in about 3 hours and I was an hour away from the airport, so I started to pack. He scolded me about packing 3 times the clothes I needed when it only a four day trip. They had three more shows left to end their tour and would be in the same area for all of them. So I didn’t have to feel guilty about more travel expenses and such like I always did.
Of course I knew he had the money to spend and such, but that was the thing. I didn’t want to be pampered by him at all times just because he could. I liked being able to support myself and not feeling like I was using him for his money. I was so in love with this kid and I had been for the last few years and that was the last thing I wanted him to believe.
Yeah, I was working a part time minimum wage job and he was touring the world, but I didn’t need him for such small expenses. Even though I guess a plane ticket wasn’t small. On the cab ride to JFK airport, I was just enveloped in my thoughts about him that I didn’t even realize when we had arrived. I was forced out of my head by a loud honk and the man in the front seat telling me to get out. I passed up a 50 dollar bill and grabbed my larger than I should have suit case out of the trunk.
I never really began going to airports and flying before Yoongi. It was such a normal thing to him, but to me it was so extravagant. Not even including where you’re going, flying on an airplane was just such a cool concept to me. So I took it all in every time. Even if it fucked me over in the end. Which you already knew it did. I never slept, so my jet lag was extra bad during these. I just watched movie after movie, every time. There was truly nothing else to do for me than take advantage of that. I got too anxious sleeping in front of people, even if they were perfectly good strangers.
Whenever my plane landed in South Korea, I always regretted not paying too much attention when Yoongi tried to teach me the language in depth. I knew some basic terms to get me around, but he had practiced English for so long and so hard for me, that I really did feel guilty for not learning his native tongue. It seemed to always be a lingering thought whenever I was in his homeland, but he made me feel silly for thinking that. Stating that I had no true reason to learn Korean and that he didn’t want me to get good at it so he could always talk shit about me without me truly understanding. As much as I wanted to believe that was a joke, I knew it wasn’t.
After grabbing my luggage, I looked around for one of the security guards I knew would be getting me. I pulled my hood lower on my head and looked for the sign that Yoongi probably wrote. Knowing him it would say something embarrassing.  There it was. Booboo buns. He even drew hearts around it. He was such a dick, even when he wasn’t here.
I gripped my rolling suitcase with a hard fist as I walked over to the burly man and waved. He complimented me with a smile and turned his back on me to follow to the car outside. He attempted to take my suitcase from me and I just responded with, “Aniyo gwaenchanhseubnida.” Meaning no thank you. One of the few terms I made sure to know along with where is the bathroom and a few other phrases.
Once I was in the familiar black van, I finally closed my eyes. I didn’t know how far the hotel was and I didn’t bother to ask. Well, I didn’t know how to ask and I had no service here to even text Yoongi I was on my way. He definitely knew though. For a lazy fuck he was on top of important shit; like getting me around a place where I could easily end up lost. As much as I prided myself on having good direction value.
Of course I didn’t sleep on the way to the hotel when that was purely all I wanted to do. The security guard parked the car in front of the hotel and left the hazards on. He simply walked me inside and I said thank you and he passed me a card with the room number and key. From the lack of people around here, I figured the boys were at their show. It was around 8 pm here now, so it was almost a perfect time for me to sleep.
I power walked to the elevator and once it dinged I went inside up to the 18th floor. I closed my eyes on the way up as I leaned against the mirror on the side of the elevator. I hope I didn’t leave a mark or anything. I was probably all gross from that plane ride. If I had the energy I’d shower, but I just wanted to knock out and I bet that the bed here was super comfortable. Nothing like my mattress on the floor back at home. Ding. I was here. Floor 18, room 22. Of course it was at the end of a long hallway. Of course.
At this point I was almost ready to crawl down the hallway, but instead I jogged. I figured I was alone, but I was wrong. During my sprint, I ran into random man and completely ate shit and fell. He said, “Sorry, sorry.” but continued running in the opposite direction of me. Awesome. Now I was tired and bruised and probably had fucking rug burn, but I was over it.  I stood up and just pushed the thought that I got to see Yoongi when I woke up. I swiped the card through room 22 and saw it. The beautiful, big bed. The door slammed behind me and I kicked off the moccasins I’d been wearing for the past almost 16 hours. A smile loomed over my face as I tiptoed over to the empty bed and stuffed myself into it. Within a minute, I was out like a light.
I was awoken by the light turning on, but the thing that pushed me into being awake was the stench that followed it. I coughed to clear my throat and sat up. I opened my eyes to a smiling Yoongi at the foot of the bed. My eyes were still adjusting to the change, so he was a little blurry to me. “Why didn’t you shower there?” I asked. It totally wasn’t the first thing I wanted to say, but I kind of hurt a bit too much to move or yell.
“I wanted to see my girl.” His smile turned into one of my favorites. The gummy one. Then he crawled over to me, rubbing his fingers across the dimple that lined my face. “You’re so pretty… and bloody?” He chuckled, “Did you fall or something?” He peeled the blanket off of me and I was as confused as the look on his face. “Oh, come on. You fell?”
I couldn’t help but to laugh. There were a bunch of scratches on my arm from the carpet that had torn just enough to bleed. Then I just ignored it, so here we were. “Yeah, I fell. I was super tired and ran into this guy-”
“Someone ran into you?” He pulled me into his smelly arms and squeezed me. “You didn’t yell at him? Shame. I love it when you’re a firecracker.” He kissed at my cheek, towards the corner of my mouth. “Wow, I missed you.”
He continued to leave small kisses around my face and I knew I wasn’t sleeping anytime soon. I turned around so that I was looking at him and he had changed his hair. “Green?” My face lit up, “You did my favorite hair color again?!”
He bit at my nose, “Yeah. I gotta make sure this vacation is perfect for you.” He went back to kissing around my face. Whenever we met up, it always started like this. He missed the physical interaction, but never pushed me into anything, He always started slow.
“How was the show?”
“Amazing, as always, but I was so distracted knowing you were here and laying in my bed without me.” His kisses began to trail down the side of my face to my neck, his second favorite place to be at for a while.
“Can we shower? I don’t want to fuck you- No, that’s a lie. I want to fuck you really bad.”
“Blunt today?” he breathed hot air down my neck as he spoke in a sexy whisper.
“I’m gross and so are you, let’s shower.”
We both walked into the bathroom and started stripping each other. Nothing too sensual at first, until we were both in our undergarments. We both just looked at each other for a minute. Observed each other's flaws and imperfections as if it was the first time seeing each other naked, but boy was it not. Honestly, I think that’s what made us love each other so much. Everything was always the same, but it was always new.
“God, I’ve missed you so much.” Yoongi breathed. He undid the clasp on my bra and as I took that off I felt his long fingers slide down my back to pull down my lacy panties I’d been in for probably the last day. I breathed out a gasped when he touched me. His fingers were cold even though the bathroom was slowly heating up. I pulled on the waistline of Yoongi’s boxers, suggesting for him to take them off. Even if we were caught in a moment, he couldn’t help but to slightly laugh at my little motions. I was never truly the one in charge of these situations, but considering it’s been about 3 months since we’d last seen each other, I was getting a little antsy.
He grabbed onto my hand and led me into the shower. As soon as I turned the shower on he started attacking my neck with little kisses. Nothing too aggressive, but hard enough to leave a faint bruise after each kiss. I turned around to face him. God, he was beautiful. We moved closer to each other and our lips finally connected. The kiss was soft and sweet. Then of course leave it to Yoongi become aggressive. With one swift motion, he lifted me off of the ground and made me wrap my legs around him. He pushed me into the tiled wall and I could feel him against my heat.
“You came all this way for me, I figured I might as well do something for you.” He said.
“That’s fine by me, daddy.” I teased. I could feel him fucking harden against me. It was really hot. I knew it was one of his kinks. He would never admit it to me but whenever I called him that it would almost instantaneously turn him on. Now that I did that, I knew I was in for a world of trouble. Aka, him getting mad if I called him anything other than that or sir. I did it anyways, him being mad was pretty hot in these cases.
“Yeah?” his voice was raspier now.
“Okay, Yoongi.” I smirked, excited for the outcome.
“Don’t you dare call me that now. You started this,” Yoongi growled. He let me sink a little bit again the wall, only to duck his shoulder under my left leg and put it on top. My breathing hitched as he got me into one of his favorite positions. Also because this was dangerous. We could die. Then it would be all my fault and his army would kill me.
I was taken back to the moment as he kitten licked up my slit and pulled away right before he got to my clit. He chuckled at the little gasping noise I made when he stopped and lifted up to touch me, but instead of going where I thought he cupped my chin. He smirked and kissed me so hard that I could almost feel the purple that my lip was going to be. He let go of my chin and began to lazily trail his hand down my body, making sure to go over my most sensitive parts in his little teasing session.
His eyes never left yours as he teased a digit inside, but quickly pulled it out. Before he started anything else he made sure I was secure against the wall and in his left hand. He did the same motion again with his middle finger and I gasped as the loss of touch.
“Please-” I begged, reaching for his wrist.
He slapped my hand away and squinted his eyes at me telling me to stop. This time he put in two fingers and curled them inside of me, my eyes closed from habit.  “I want you to look at me while I touch you, princess.” He scolded. I could literally feel my insides turn to mush with his words as I bit onto my lip. His two fingers slowly moved inside of me while his thumb reached up to rub my clit. He kept curling and uncurling his fingers while rubbing little circles. All I wanted right now was to moan loud and sink to my knees, but I couldn’t lose my voice yet and I was pinned to the shower.
At this point he lowered me onto the ground, still keeping my leg on his shoulder. I gripped the shower handle as he moved his mouth onto my clit, lightly sucking on it while keeping his fingers inside of me. I wrapped my leg over my shoulder. He added a third finger and continued to curl them. I reached my other hand out and ran my fingers through his hair, being careful not to pull the green too hard. I pushed my hips down and mumbled a fuck. He hummed into me as he removed his fingers and licked up me one final time.
He pulled his fingers into his mouth, sucking on them while not breaking eye contact. “Better than ever.” He let my leg down and I still needed some support. I reached my arms up lazily and wrapped them around his neck, kissing him softly. He, however, didn’t want soft. The kiss quickly became intense as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. He ran his hands up and down my back, eventually landing on my ass and gripped it like he was holding on for dear life.
The kissing stopped for a moment. “Are you sure you don’t want me to-” I pulled one arm off of him and brought it toward his hip. He reached out for it with his own, lacing our fingers together. It felt less intense in this moment, as he smiled purely and took his other hand to my cheek.
“Let me take care of you for once. Let me fuck you til you beg me to stop, (Y/N).” He spoke in is normal voice, except a little bit higher. I simply bit my lip in response. Leave it to Yoongi to always know what to say to make me wet.
He lifted my leg back up again and placed himself at my entrance. In typical Yoongi fashion, he rubbed the head up and down my folds, barely dipping inside. “Please.” I begged, barely audible. He just smiled and slowly pushed into me. Within seconds, he picked up speed. He went at a mild tempo at first then as I put my hand onto his shoulder he lifted my leg higher and all you could hear was muffled moans and groans along with the slapping of skin.
He gripped my thigh as he thrusted in and out. He never broke eye contact with me and as much as I wanted to close my eyes, I stared right at him. When I reached my high, he knew. I knew he was close too. “Can I?” his eyes darted down to his cock. I nodded as I was unable to even speak. He fucked me right through my orgasm and my nails scratched through his skin. As soon as I was done, he moaned out my name as he came inside me. He lowered my leg to a more comfortable position and then pulled out.
Before putting me back onto the ground he made sure I was leaning on him and had my hand somewhere else. Fuck, he knew me too well. He hummed into my ear as my back leaned against his bare body. He ran his fingers through my hair and I felt a stinging in my eye. “Yoongi stop!” I yelled, squeezing it shut to try to comfort my pain.
“What’s wrong? Was I being too aggressive? I know it’s been a bit and I know you can barely walk right now but maybe y-”
“No, it’s not that-”
“Then what’s wrong?” He wrapped his arms around me, turning me in towards him.
“You got shampoo in my eye.”
He gulped. “I wasn’t holding the shampoo-”
“Then what’s in my eye?!” I yelled, reaching one hand up to rub it. He started to laugh.
“Babe, I am so sorry.”
For the rest of the shower, I just leaned into him after getting whatever was in my eye out. I missed being with him like this in such a personal way. We didn’t even speak, but we were so in tune with each other when we were together. He took care of me and I took care of him. In this moment, it was his turn. He knew I’d been hurting lately, mentally and now physically thanks to him. It was moments like these I was so grateful for him. I was always grateful for him.
He reached over me to turn off the water and pulled a towel off of the rack outside of it. He twirled it around me and then one around his own waist. He kept one arm around me as he patted some of the water off of himself. “You tired?” He whispered, patting me down a little bit before lifting me bridal style out of the shower.
He laid me onto the bed still wrapped up despite me still being well covered in water. He got in next to me and covered us with the warm blanket, pulling me close to his chest. He liked to sleep while in contact with me, despite what it may be. Tonight his arm was around me, but most nights his hand was on my hip or thigh . Tonight was different, he wanted to closer than usual. We which we already were. Our usual is across the world.
“Hey, Yoongs.” I whispered into his chest. He made a noise signaling he heard me. “I love you. I love you. I’m so in love with you.”
He ruffled my hair. “Shh, go to sleep.”
“Reassure me.” my unnecessary anxiety spoke out.
“I’m so in love with you. I’ve loved you since I’ve known you. You’re the strongest woman I know. You’re my sun and I love you. Darling, am I in love with you.”

“Welcome”(part 1)
Tumblr media
Summary: Your family is taking part in a foreign exchange program and takes in a student from South Korea and you slowly fall for him, while being in a relationship with someone else.
Disclaimer: I’m still new to writing so I am open to any critics that you may have (just go easy on me XD). I’m not affiliated with the restaurant mentioned (I just really like the food there). I also gave names to the host family (mom, dad, and brother.) if you want to use your real parents’ names then by all means (: Other than that, HAPPY READING!
Members: Hyungwon x Reader
Genre: Fluff (?), series (there will be a little drama in the next chapters)
Word count: 2,216
Hyungwon’s POV:
As I looked out the airplane window and saw my homeland slowly start to disappear beneath the clouds, it hit me. I’m going to America. I was excited to be somewhere new, but a little nervous at the same time because I don’t know anyone there and my English is pretty iffy. But nonetheless, I was going to take on this change.
I was one of the select few that got picked to go to school in America for a year. It was me and seven other boys that got picked. They didn’t seem nervous at all, in fact, they were all sleeping right now. Me on the other hand, I couldn’t stop playing out every possible scenario in my head. “What if there are bullies? Will they target me? Will I make friends at all? What if I sound dumb trying to explain what I want to say in English?” It all made me high-strung.
For the first 10 hours worth of plane ride, I couldn’t sleep. Every situation haunted my mind every second. It wasn’t until one of the other exchange students offered me something to ease my mind that I could finally calm myself. Adderall, I think is what he called it. He and I talked for a bit and got familiar with each other after I finally got some sleep. “I’m Hyunwoo by the way. Most my friends call me Shownu though.” He smiles at me, trying to calm my still jittery mind. “It’s really nice to meet you. My name is Hyungwon.” He was a pleasant person, despite his manly and quiet stature. Shownu even introduced me to the other exchange students, Hoseok, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Jooheon, and Changkyun. We all swapped phone numbers when we landed in Seattle and promised each other that we’d meet up one day. After the others had left, it was just me and Shownu left waiting for our host families to come and get us.
A sense of uneasiness washed over me again as I slowly realized that I wasn’t going to be at the same school as my new friends. Somehow managing to sense my nerves getting the best of me again, Shownu pats my back and says, “You’ll do fine. If you show those kids the side of you that you showed us at all those airports, you’ll be one of the most popular kids at school. You’re witty, charming and you’re pretty funny. But, if anyone gives you a hard time, don’t be afraid to call me or any of the other guys, okay?” I look at him, straighten myself up, and nod my head. He chuckles a little and pats my shoulders, and before long his host family picks him and it’s just me. I sit there on my duffel bag in the pick-up area looking left and right for my host family. It felt like ages before they finally got there.
This brown-skinned, big burly man with a spectacular beard, and broad shoulders emerges from the driver’s side and he smiles brightly. This man was very tall and muscular. He comes around the car with his arms open wide. “Welcome to Seattle!” I stand and go to embrace him, and before I know it I’m in the air and struggling for air. “Honey, put him down. The poor boy is tired and hungry. He doesn’t have time for your ‘manly bear hugs’,” a soft and gentle voice said from the behind the man. It must have been his wife. She was small and petite (the complete opposite of her significant other) with long and curly brown hair and very pretty hazel eyes. “I can see you’ve met my husband, Andreas. I’m Veronica, but you can just call me Ronnie.” She flashes me a gentle and motherly smile and gives me a soft hug. I pull out of the hug and look at both of them and smile before saying, “It’s very nice to meet you both. My name is Hyungwon and I look forward to living with you and your family.” The man, Andreas, chuckles loudly and embraces me and his wife. “You’re going to love it at our house, my boy!”
After all those hugs and introductions, we get inside the car and they ask me if I was hungry. I was about to lie and say no when my stomach made a sound that could not have been human. “Say no more, son. I know a place that will fill you right up!”
We pull up to this place called Serious Pie and I gave them a weird look. Andreas couldn’t understand my confusion, but his wife cleared it up perfectly. “What this place means by ‘pie’ is pizza. Not the desert.” She giggles a little after explaining it me. I mean it kind of makes sense, but I still want to know why they don’t just call it pizza instead of pie,
All while I was thinking about what the name of pizza should be, a pretty girl comes to take our order. I didn’t know what to get to Ronnie ordered for me. “You’re going to love the sweet fennel sausage pizza,” Our food got out to us quickly and the pretty waitress put this medium sized pizza in front of me and look at Ronnie and Andreas only to see that they got their own pizza. I get a whole pizza to myself? I took two pieces of pizza and folded them together, taking a big bite. The pizza or pie or whatever they call it here was incredible. It wasn’t long before I ate the whole thing, even finishing my soda too. “For a skinny kid, you sure can eat.” Andreas was pretty shocked that I had finished all my food and even some of the root beer float that Ronnie couldn’t finish. I started to feel self-conscious, but Andreas assured me that a had a “man’s appetite” and that it was something to be proud of.
Once the bill was paid, we were on our way home and I couldn’t wait to meet their family. Their house was pretty big on the outside and it was also pretty big on the inside too. The walls were furnished with happy family photos, the living room had a large antique coffee table strewn with magazines and other things to read, the game room had a flat screen attached to the wall with a projector screen that pulls down in front the tv for movie nights, the kitchen had this granite top with a stove built into it, and the bathroom had one of those shower heads that made it feel like you were bathing out in the rain. Their house was so up to date on household appliances it was like walking into one of those futuristic catalogs.
As I was lost in the beauty of their house, Ronnie was trying to tell me something. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention.” She laughs at me and says, “I said my son and daughter won’t be here for your first night here. They’re at their friend's house. You should see them at school though.” Hearing that did make me a little sad because I was hoping to meet them before school so that I had someone to hang out with. Ronnie see’s my distress and tells me, “Oh don’t make that face. I’ll call them both right now and let them know to meet you in front of the school to show you around.” She gives me a reassuring smile before turning around and taking her phone call in the living room. Andreas comes around the corner, takes my suitcase and shows me to my room.
“If you need anything at all don’t be afraid to tell me or Ronnie, okay? We want you to feel at home as much as possible. Plus,” he adds setting down the suitcase just in front of the bed, “you’re family now.” He gives a big smile and pats me on the shoulder with his big hands. “You know where everything is, if you have any questions, our room is just at the end of the hall.” You nod your head and tell him good night as he leaves.
Once I threw myself on the bed, I began to look around the room. It was very spacious, with beige walls and small tv that was also hanging from the wall. The dresser was long and a deep color of mahogany. I turned over to look out the window when I see a picture frame on the nightstand. It was your host family at this beach. They all look so happy and carefree. Then I saw her, their daughter. She was so beautiful, her tanned skin, long, dark hair that kind of blew into her brother’s face in the picture, and her smile. That was my favorite part.about her. Her smile was as big and bright as the sun, with teeth as white as the clouds. It may have only been a picture, but I was still nervous about meeting her tomorrow.
Shaking myself out of my daydream of her, I went to shower and decided to call it a night. I had a feeling it was going to be an extremely eventful day tomorrow.
Your POV:
The movie was getting scarier and scarier the more you and your friends watched. All of a sudden your phone rang making all of your friends jump and scream. “Relax, it’s just my mom.” One of your friends emerged from under the covers and yelled, “WHY DIDN’T YOU TURN YOUR PHONE OFF!?”
“Oh hush up,” you said as you left the room to answer your phone. “Hey mom. What’s up?” Your mom sounded a little surprised that you picked up after the fourth ring.“Y/N, I wasn’t expecting you to answer. How’s the sleepover? What’re you all doing now?” You tell her that all of you were just watching a scary movie and gossiping, the cliche girl things you do at sleepovers. “Don’t stay up too late now, and before I forget, I need you to meet me at the front of the school.” This caught you a little by surprise. “Why? What happened?” She reassures you that nothing’s wrong and then explains that she picked up the foreign exchange student from the airport and that he was a little sad that he didn’t get to meet you or your brother. “I just want him to meet you two so that he knows a couple people at school.” You started to wonder what he was like for a little bit, tuning out whatever your mom was trying to tell you on the other end. Your mother gets quiet and you freak out, “Mom? You there?” She then gives you a snarky reply, “I could ask you the same thing. You haven’t heard a word I said.” You were a little on the defensive and told her, “I was listening! Meet you in the front to meet the foreign exchange student.” She sighs on the other line, “If you were listening you’d know his name. It’s-” She gets cut off by the screams in the other room. “Mom, I’ll meet him in the morning, okay? We can catch up and get to know each other then.” You both say your goodbyes and you go back to the room to enjoy the rest of the movie.
Once it was over, you all went on your phones and scrolled through social media gossiping about celebrities and whatnot. That’s when you get a text from your mom. It said: “Just in case I have to leave for work and can’t stick around to introduce you and your brother, this is Hyungwon.” It;s a picture of a very skinny boy next to your dad. He looked very small compared to your dad , but who didn’t? Small as in skinny, even though he was sitting down you could tell that Hyungwon was as tall as your dad. You looked at him a little closer and noticed that he wasn’t that bad looking. Who were you kidding? He was gorgeous with his meek smile, luscious lips, dark hair that fell across his face so nicely, even the way he was sitting was beautiful. If it wasn’t for your best friend’s scream, you probably would have stared at the picture the rest of the night.
“Who is THAT?!” You turned to see everyone hovering over you and your phone. “He’s the new foreign exchange student. He’s going to be living with my family and I this school year.” After that it was an endless night of giggling and talking about how cute Hyungwon was.
“Hey Y/N, since you’re going out with Johnny, you wouldn’t mind putting in a good word for us, right?” You don’t know why, but you didn’t like this question nor did you dignify it with a response. Was it jealousy that you were feeling? How could you be crushing on someone while having a boyfriend? It couldn’t have been because you had a boyfriend and you two were happy…. Right? You shook Hyungwon and being jealous out of your head and turned over to go to sleep. “It’s going to be a hectic day tomorrow.”
Author’s notes: I’d like to dedicate my second series to my new friend @omgxiaoch . She’s super nice and her scenarios are AMAZING, so be sure to go check out her masterlist. I hope you enjoyed this first part fam! (:

March 15
Hi again! I’m taking a bit more time between posts now, so I’ll try my best to keep the quality up. I’m going back about a month ago, starting bright and early at morning track practice. This was my first one because no one told me there were morning practices before then, but everyone came on that first day to say goodbye to the students leaving for foreign exchange. Every year, one sophomore age homeroom goes on a year long exchange to Canada. That’s the same program that my current host brother, Ryosuke, came home from in January. In track club, there was only one person going: a really outgoing girl named Ami. After morning practice, we took a last team photo with her, then went on to our normal day. The whole program is amazing to me; each homeroom has about 40 students in it, and for the most part each student goes to a different school in Canada, which is so many! The teacher in charge of making sure all of the students get to their school alright is Mr. Okada, who normally translates for our Japanese history class. Since he was gone on Wednesday, Mr. Mizou showed us some old Japanese artwork. It was strange at first, because he showed us paintings of hell and diseases, but it kind of fit with our topic that religion was very important? I’m not quite sure how it was related, but he also showed us the first Japanese manga, which depicted samurai as rabbits and commoners as frogs, and had them doing sumo, riding horses, and wearing kimonos. Again, not sure how it was related to class, but it was funny. The next day in our home economics class, we made hamburgers and apple pie, which felt pretty American, but then in our next class our teacher made my classmates and I clean our room by hand, which felt veeery foreign, cuz I don’t like cleaning so much. It wasn’t actually that bad, and we messed around a lot as we were working. My teacher also explained to me that it’s a sort of good luck thing, to clean your room yourself towards the end of the school year. My last class that day was PE, which we used to have with the class that went to Canada, but since they left, my host brother and his homeroom joined us. It was especially fun because they all speak almost fluent English, so they would yell and curse at each other as loud as they wanted and no one else understood. The next day my host mom packed me a pretty awesome lunchbox, but in particular she packed green beans. I have those a lot in the US, but I hadn’t had them since coming to Japan, so I kind of felt a bit homesick. Who would’ve thought I would miss something as small as that? After lunch we had volleyball, which I really like, but that day in particular was awesome. All we did were matches, and in our second one I served the first 15 points straight! My team was really hype about it, and eventually the coach came over and joined the other team to help them out. In general it was an awesome day, and a huge confidence booster for the class. After dinner at home, we celebrated a festival called Setsubun, which is supposed to keep out the bad spirits from your home. The way to celebrate it, though, is to have someone wear a mask and try to come inside while being pelted with soybeans. We all took turns, and it was really fun! The next night, Saturday, we had a welcome home party for Ryosuke and his classmates at home, and it was great! Like I said earlier, everyone knew English, and they knew a lot about American and Canadian culture, like twerking and rap songs. A few people brought cameras and took candids the whole night, which was really funny. The next week I went to monday morning, and I realized that the first time with Ami was exceptionally well attended, because at this practice I was one of only three people to show up. We did our thing, though, and it was easier to talk when there were less people around. On Tuesday and Wednesday both, I spent a lot of time after practice hanging around and talking to people. Once it was with the sprinters, and they were all super excited about speaking English to me and singing American songs. The other day I talked with the distance team about the summer trip to Okinawa, and they told me a bunch of different foods to try while I’m there. They’re going to England and Canada instead for a month to work on their English, so we also talked about the differences between American and British English. But the next day, Thursday, was my favorite day since coming to Japan. We had a half day, and after school one of my friends from math invited me to go and grab lunch with him and two girls. My host mom gave me the thumbs up, so we went and ate in Tennoji, the big station near the school, then saw Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. It was really fun, and it was really easy to talk about this and that. After the movie I went straight to my violin lesson, where we worked on vibrato for the first time. Then after the lesson, I went out to dinner with my teacher, his wife, and my host sister at a grilled beef place. I took more time to eat than everyone else since I ate more, so everyone else just drank for the last bit of the meal. Then we went on to another restaurant, this time Italian, for salads. Everyone else said they were too full to eat very much, though, so again, I ate while everyone else drank. My teacher and my host sister both got pretty tipsy. My teacher, Mr. Matsuda, alternated between roasting Korea and  complimenting Azumi and me on our instruments. My host sister didn’t do anything as dramatic as that, but she nodded off on the train and was hiccupping a little. It was a really fun way to end an awesome day. The next day was a holiday, so Ryosuke and I played each other in Super Smash Bros on the Wii, then he went to his soccer practice and I went to check out Kyuhoji park. I wanted to find a track, or at least some kind of lockers to put things in while I run, but there weren’t any. It was still a fun trip out to the park. I had only been once before, with my first host brother Kenta, so I got to explore more this time. The next day I went back to the Terakawa family to stay the night. I went on Saturday morning, and was picked up at Yao station by my host dad, Yu and Rina. The car ride back was fun, seeing the same neighborhood where I used to live, and talking with Yu and my host dad was nice. I realized how much my language skills had improved compared to the last time we had seen each other, so we were able to talk more than when we lived together. Once we got home, I met my host mom again, and we talked about how the Tsuchida family is to me. I sort of knew that we would talk about it, since it was a big change for both of us, but I hadn’t really thought of how it would feel to talk with my first host mom about how well I was doing with my second host family. While my host mom worked on lunch, (quesadillas!) Yu, Rina, and I kicked and threw some balloons around the living room, just like when I lived with them. Kenta’s friend came over again, as well as a family friend of the Terakawa’s, who I met on my first weekend. We met up together at Tennoji, ate lunch together, and went to get my commuter pass. His English is very good, and we talked about how I’d been doing since I arrived. The last time we had seen each other, I hadn’t been able to make a complete sentence in Japanese, so he was really interested in how much I had learned. We had a good time together until the late afternoon, then everyone who came for lunch went on home. We had some down time after that, and it really didn’t feel any different from when I lived there. We just sat around in the living room, watching Rina’s cartoons and talking during commercials. My host mom needed something from the convenience store for dinner, so Yu and I walked a few blocks over to buy it. When we walked out the front door, though, Rina started crying and throwing a fit that we could here through the open window. Yu just looked at me and gave me one of those “She’s three and I have to put up with this 24/7” looks, and we went and did our thing. When we came back home, though, my host mom told me that Rina had been crying because she thought I wasn’t coming back. I hadn’t thought of that, and I went through a lot of feelings and thoughts, like did she cry that much when I moved? It was a strange feeling, but she was fine when I came home, so we all put it out of our minds. Dinner was okonomiyaki, the cabbage and bacon pancake-ish dish. After that, we all took our baths and showers, then it was time for bed for Rina. She and my host mom went back to their room, but a few minutes later they were back, and my host mom said Rina wanted to stay up until I went to bed. It was pretty early, but I didn’t want to argue, so we went back and had an early night. The next morning nothing special happened. I had the same breakfast as I used to on normal school days, then the Terakawa’s drove me back to the Tsuchida’s house. The goodbye wasn’t bad at all, in terms of emotions, so I think that was a little bit of closure after the whole email thing. Then school on Monday was back to normal. After classes, my host family took me to go see a saxophone concert. The group was half Japanese college students and half Taiwanese college students, and Shinji, my host sister’s boyfriend, was one of the principal players. It was a great performance, and once it finished I found out that was the first time they had played together. Before they had been practicing separately, in Taiwan and Japan, but from the performance I never would have thought it. The next day was Valentine’s Day, which is very different from in the USA. In Japan on Valentine’s Day, only girls give chocolates. There’s a separate holiday called White Day that happens a month later when guys give gifts back to the girls they received chocolate from. I actually didn’t get very many from my homeroom, but when I went to my math class, almost everyone had something small to give to me. I was a little worried about White Day and remembering who I needed to give gifts to, but White Day falls during Spring Break, so I don’t think there’ll be much pressure to get chocolates to everyone. After school I checked Instagram, and I saw that track was starting up in Austin! Time really is flying by. I’ve realized now that once school starts up after break, I’ll only be in Japan for three more months. It seems crazy to me that I’m already that close to heading home, and even crazier to think that I’ve been in Japan for almost 7 months already. Anyway. Back to the story of my life. I had a really good day on the day after Valentine’s Day. First, as a disclaimer, I 100% meant to go to track practice. Was not planning on skipping. But, you know, life happens. We had an assignment in homeroom to create a poster about a college you want to go to, then choose which poster we thought was the best put-together. It was due Thursday morning, and the posters were in the classroom, so I had planned on scanning through them and filling out my ballot before going down to practice. It took me a while to read the posters, though, but my homeroom talked me through what the tougher ones said, and gradually our conversation kind of drifted away from school. I ended up completely missing practice, and talking with my homeroom until 6:30 when the building starts closing for the night. It was awesome to spend time outside of class with my friends, and I met a bunch of new people, too. The next morning, Bain and I were supposed to join a Skype call with Bain’s school back home and all the students interested in coming to Japan next year, but when we joined, there were no students. No one had applied to come. We talked with the head of the program at Bain’s school, and with a Japanese teacher about keeping up Japanese once we come home. In PE, we were wrapping up the school year, so we ran the 1500. My host brother, Ryosuke, and one of my friends from math, Takeo, had been talking trash to me and saying they were going to beat me, so we had a pretty serious race. I want to give a shoutout to Coach Carrozza, because I whooped ‘em. It was actually pretty slow, and I actually didn’t win by that much, but still. I just wanted to give a shoutout to Coach. The next day, Friday, we had our last volleyball and guitar classes, so we played matches and had a playing test, respectively. Both were really fun, and it was a little sad, because I don’t know if I’ll have the classes again next year, or if I’ll see my classmates again. On Saturday, Shinji and Goro both came over, and we played a giant game of UNO and another playing card game. We had a lot of fun, even though I got completely run over in both games. I also went and got my haircut again, which normally wouldn’t be big news, but again, I’m in Japan, so everything is big news. In particular, I went to the same barbershop as last time, which hasn’t happened until now. I even had the same barber! The next week at school was the last one before finals started, so classes were for the most part laid back. In music we watched these home video type movies, and our teacher played different soundtracks over it to show how music changed the feeling of a movie. Then he showed a different movie, that he explained as his recreation of the Terminator movies. It was very funny, in particular to see his personality outside of class. Our last judo class was as lit as always. I had to finish up the required number of matches, so I had to do 5 in the class period. The guys that I had talked with last time about nicknames cheered me on during my matches, and chanted USA pretty loudly whenever I did something good. It was a great way to go out, if a little embarrassing. I went running on my own after school that day, and the area at Nagai park in front of the stadium was packed with college aged guys doing skateboard and BMX bike tricks. They were blasting American rap music over speakers while they were at it, and it was really cool to watch while I warmed up. I’ve seen some small groups of friends messing around before, but it looked like a coordinated event this time. The next few days were pretty slow and relaxed before exams, but on Thursday when I was at Nagai, I ran into some guys throwing a frisbee while I was cooling down, and they let me join and throw with them for a little while. It was pretty cool; we met on the street, did our thing for 10 minutes or so, then said goodbye and went our separate ways. Friday and Saturday’s exams went well; I have my Saturday math exam back and I aced it! Once my exam finished on Saturday, my host mom, Goro, my host grandmother, and I went to the plum gardens at Osaka Castle. I was kind of dazed after my exam, so I wasn’t listening to the conversation in the car as we were driving, but at a stoplight, my host grandmother tapped me on the soldier and asked me how people in America are buried after they die. I was really confused and it showed, and Goro explained that they had been talking about if a zombie apocalypse could happen in Japan. He told me that in Japan most people are cremated after they die, so there aren’t any bodies to become zombies, and my host grandmother had been wondering if it was more likely to happen in America. I told them what I could, and we kept talking about it until we got to the castle. The plum blossoms were beautiful, and I got to take lots of pictures. The garden was very spacious, and lots of people were walking around just enjoying the view. The rest of exam week went by pretty uneventfully. I also got back my Japanese and Physics exams, 97% and 95%, and on Sunday Bain, Takeo, and I went to Nagai to throw a frisbee around and avoid studying. It was really fun, and it was a really cool place right in front of the stadium. We accidentally got the frisbee caught in a tree twice, and once threw it over a security fence, but we got it back every time. On Friday I went to Namba, the big downtown area, with Takeo and Isoyama, who are both in my math and home economics classes, and with Bain. We went sort of window shopping in the morning and walked down the big streets, then went to the best restaurant ever. It was a pizza, pasta, and curry all-you-can-eat for $7, with no time limit. Best. Deal. Ever. All four of us went back for thirds, and we might have had more if we hadn’t been planning on going to Round One. It’s an entertainment place, with games like an arcade, and three floors of indoor sport courts. We played tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball, and even went rollerblading. There was also archery, segway lessons, and ping-pong, but we ran out of time before we could try it all out. It was awesome, but the closest one to the school is four subway stops away, so it’s a little inconvenient to get to, but I’m definitely going to try to go back again with friends. Now it’s getting into spring break, so the days are kind of disconnected. One day, we went to see another one of Shinji’s concerts. This one was special too, because all of the pieces were written by one British conductor named Philip Sparke, who came to Japan to conduct the concert. It was very interesting to hear so many pieces from one man’s mind, because you could kind of see how he viewed the world through it. For example, the last piece was called Symphony of Colors, or something along those lines. There were five pieces named after five different colors, and each one had its own personality attached to it. There were also several non-traditional instruments throughout the whole performance. I also noticed some of the cultural differences between Mr. Sparke’s conducting and what the performers were expecting. After each movement, the conductor pointed out the people who had a strong presence in the movement and had them bow, alone. At first, none of the Japanese performers were expecting it, and there was a bit of confusion about what was going on. By the end of the night everything was flawless, but the way Mr. Sparke left the stage was really surprising. He made a big show of saying thank you and bowing, then left the stage with everyone standing. He came back out a few seconds later, holding up the number one and mouthing “One more?” Then, in the middle of the last piece, he stopped conducting, walked around looking over the principal player’s shoulder at his music, then sitting in an empty chair in the percussion section. The song ended and the audience started applauding, and he just stood up, waved once, and stepped off stage to let the performers take the attention. I had a really fun time watching it. The next day, my host family woke up early to go spend the day driving around. Our first stop was an all-you-can-eat strawberry farm. It was amazing. We could walk around the greenhouses, pick whichever strawberries we wanted, and take as much time as we wanted. After that we went to this river in the next prefecture. It’s pretty famous because the riverbanks are over a hot spring, so if you dig out a hole, it’ll fill with clean, hot water. We tried to dig our own, but the process was taking a long time, so we used one that was already made. It was really cool, and we messed around skipping rocks and crossing the river to get to other springs. A few days later as I was about to head home from Nagai, I met these three guys who were finishing up their own workout. One of them, Kaoru, speaks really good English, and he and I talked for a little about this and that. We followed each other on Instagram, and since then we’ve met up once to workout, and Kaoru wants to go to a Gold’s Gym with me, then go get Mexican food. Honestly sounds pretty fun, but I’ve only met him twice, so I’m not sure if it’ll happen. On Wednesday, we had our last half-day of classes, and now we’re in a month long spring break! To sort of kick off the break, Ryosuke took me to a bathhouse in our neighborhood that has a “denki-furo,” which literally means “electric bath.” I was very skeptical about it, mostly because it has “electric” in the name, but Ryosuke sort of peer-pressured me into it. It was weeeeiiird. Like, it didn’t really hurt, but I could definitely feel the charge in my muscles. We both chickened out after, like, 2 minutes, then went back to the normal baths, but hey! I tried it. The next day I had track practice at Nagai Track for the third time ever, and it went really well! This was the first time I had on spikes all year, and it felt pretty good. My first time ever at Nagai was really bad; I came dead last in an 800 meter time trial and was almost in tears most of the way home. This time, though, was the exact opposite: I was either second or third for every interval, and coming home I had that one line from Bounce Back stuck in my head. The next day I went with Azumi to go see Moana in Umeda. It was opening day in Japan, and I had been seeing ads for it all over, and it was really good! After the movie we had dinner, then Azumi showed me some places where she thought I could get good pictures. On the 13th, I went to Universal Studios Japan! I had made plans with Misaki and Hana, who both went to Canada a few years ago and helped me get adjusted to Japan, and with Harada, one of my friends in my homeroom class. We met up before the gates opened and stayed all day, almost until the gates closed. We rode some of the big rides, but the lines were so long we couldn’t really do them all. While we walked and waited, though, we talked a lot! Communication wasn’t that hard, either, but by the end of the day I was pretty fried. It was an incredible experience! And finally, yesterday we went to hear Azumi’s graduation piece. She had been practicing the same piece since I moved here in December, and yesterday she finally performed it! It went really well, and tomorrow she’ll leave to go to New Caledonia as a graduation trip. One of my host mom’s piano students came with us to Azumi’s recital. I don’t know his actual name, but he told me to call him Boss. My host mom told me that when he was in his 20’s he was really cool and hot, but now he’s in his early forties, and even though he’s not what he once was, he still is called Boss by his friends. He was really cool, funny, and very easy to talk to. Aaaand that’s a wrap! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve written, and I’ll try to stay on top of it from now on. Love y’all!

Its 2:37 am dark
Welcome to another “8 Questions with…….”
I’m have been waiting for this chance to sit and talk with film director Lisa Ovies once again. It has been over two years since we last chatted and it has taken that long for her new film “Puppet Killer” to finally hit the festival arena where it has racked up several wins. Lisa is currently working on a distributing deal that see Simon meet his adoring fans at long last.   Lisa is one of my favorite people, she is one of the kindest and most generous persons I have met and her desire to help young actors through her teaching studio Rogue Studios to be respected and admired, several of her young students have started landing parts in various movies and TV shows, she is such a positive force in so many people’s lives.   Her sense of adventure and fun also stand out as she tackled one of the difficult challenges any performer can face, much less a film director and that was doing a stand-up comedy set. For someone who has never tried going onstage before,it still wasn’t surprising to hear that she did a bang up job. She is a lady of many talents.   The cheetah (who says Lisa is his spirit animal) and I are excited to be able to watch and review “Puppet Killer” and am so relieved for Lisa and her team that the journey is just about over,I can see why directors treat their film projects so passionately….but for now, while we a chance……let’s go ask one of my favorite directors, the amazing Lisa Ovies, another 8 Questions……..
Its pretty awesome to chat with you again,Lisa. Last time we chatted you were taking your new film “Puppet Killer” to post. What is the current status of Simon today?
Thank you! It is always great to chat with you.
We are done and released into the world and we could not be happier! We started our festival run mid September where we took home Runner Up Best Feature at Mid West Monster Fest and it has been a surreal ride ever since. By the end of this month (October)  we will have played on 5 continents and we have already won 16 awards and are nominated for another 10. My mind is truly blown as you know how hard I worked to finish this film properly and honestly some people pushed me to finish quicker and with less quality. All this recognition helps me remember the fight and patience was more than worth it and my post team DESTROYED. I am so in love with the finished product and have loved sharing it with audiences and horror fans alike. I would not have this film without my amazing team and they have my heart for life.
Can you walk us through what a “pre-production” and a “post-production” is?
Pre production is a lot of paperwork and laying the ground work. Location and tech scouting, our practical FX builds and designs, finalizing the script, casting, working out the budget, building sets and props, sorting wardrobe.. all the pieces that go into creating what we end up filming. Our pre production also including puppet training and camera tests with the puppet to try to make our on screen kills as practical as possible.
Post is more paperwork (AHH!) and then our editing, our VFX, color correction, our sound design and music (Sound designer Robert Phaneuf and composer Stephen Gallagher did an AMAZING job) clearances, title builds ect. In our case, because we had unexpected costs that ate up our post budget, so we took the time to raise enough money to finish properly. We used a fantastic finishing House ‘Finale Post’ and although it was painful to take so long to get it out, it was more than worth the wait.
How is Rogue Studios doing? Have any of your acting school students landed any major roles or awards yet? What do you like about teaching the most?
Rogues Studios is doing fantastic and I love coming home and working with my students. I love watching them grow and their hard work paying off! They are leads in movies now or reoccurring on tv shows that would have only been a dream to them a few years ago. A few to mention are Childs Play, Riverdale, Nancy Drew. But really, they are almost constantly booking so it is hard to keep our website updated and I could not be more proud.
What I like most about teaching is the personal connection. I love each and every one of my students and have close relationships with my parents. Many of my students call me their second mom (Momma Shark) and being a part of their growth, their passion, and being a human they trust and can come to when they need an ear, that means more than I could ever put into words.
I saw that you recently did some stand-up comedy? You are a naturally funny person, did stand-up come easy for you? Did you enjoy your experience before a live audience?
Well, thank you for calling me funny! I think I am more sarcastic than funny and I can say it did not come easy for me. I have been a professional improv performer and instructor for 8 years and I would say the disciplines were very different for me. I have always wanted to try stand up but was terrified of it. I don’t think people give stand ups enough credit, the skill to entertain strangers with non stop dialogue all alone on stage, a true gift.
One of my students Ragini actually signed me up for class because she knew I would never go on my own. My goal was to get through class and do the one stand up show at the end of the program. I was terrified, and I don’t often get scared, so I knew it was something I should lean into for my won growth but damn, truly nervous. At the student show, I was approached to do a show at Yuk Yuk’s, Canada’s most prominent comedy club and I guess it has been following me ever since. Just last week I was offered another paid gig to do a set. I keep saying it is my last show but evidently I have no idea what I am talking about lol
In your opinion, why do comedians adjust to doing drama so much better then dramatic actors doing comedy?
That is a hard answer for me as every actor is different and I think some have done both successfully but my instinct would be that comedic timing is intuitive, it is hard to teach. Some people just have the gift and that is a skill that can then be transitioned into drama, a form of acting that is most times, more available with the proper training.
One of your students is at an audition and another actor, who is also trying for the same role, asks for your student for help……what are you telling your student and why?
That is actually a great question and a scenario I have not brought up specifically with them so I think I will. I do however, teach them to hold each other up and to celebrate each others wins. They often go up against each other and truly celebrate when any of them book. I think in this circumstance they would lean into the opportunity to help the other actor and leave proud of themselves for doing so.
(Lisa telling Pennywise she already has a spirit animal)
Outside of acting, teaching and directing….what makes you happy?
First and foremost that will always be my dogs, my family and my friends. They are all amazing in their own way and bring me so much love and joy. I have had a hard few years and I was humbled by the support I received from them all.
Beyond the human connection, I love hot yoga, snowboarding and travel. I have been lucky to do a fair amount of all of those the last few years and plan to continue.
8You recently went on a crazy international trip with “Puppet Killer”. How did this come about and where did you go during your trip?
Yes! And it has only just begun!. Last Christmas I went away with friends to Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong and that was the start of this amazing journey. One of the gf’s I went with is now a member of the Puppet Killer team and in Hong Kong we secured our final investment to finish the film. Those investors flew me out to Seoul Korea the end of September for our Asian premier, I was home two days and then left to LA for the Anaheim film festival where we took home two trophies, one for best ensemble cast and a special award for the amazing Jett Kylne for best young actor. The following week the team packed up and went to HEX in Calgary, a fantastic three day horror convention and film festival. We won best horror film, best soundtrack and when we returned home, found out we had won fan favorite which means the world to us all. As I write this I am preparing to head to Nightmares Film Festival in Ohio while my team mans our Vancouver premiere. Believe it or not we play 9 film festival next weekend!
After that I have LA, Toronto and NY on the schedule. Not sure yet what 2020 has in store for the Puppet Killer team but I can’t wait to find out!
What is next for you filmwise? Do you have anything in the works you can share with us?
I am still working with the team and my agent to get ‘Beverly Hills Lizard People’ off the ground. We are nearly funded but have the last chunk to go. This is a dream project with an amazing script, it’s a creature feature with practical effects slated to be designed by ADI if we can finalize our funding. I have also been approached to direct three other features that I hope we get to work on once we slow down the festival run with PK.
What have been the five biggest life events for you in the past two years?
 What a great question!
1: I started to travel with friends. I did a trip to Thailand in March 2018 with my producing partner and best friend Katie Stuart for almost a month, and then solo traveled to Bangkok and had a surprise run in with another dear friend Heather Dorff when I landed to do a solo trip of Tokyo.
Then I did the above mentioned trip Dec 2018- Jan 2019 with a few different groups of friends, and did Christmas in a villa in Bali with Heather Dorff and Jaala Wanless.
Experiencing the world with my friends has been inspiring to say the least.
2: I lost my dog Tinkerbell, who was my fur baby for 15 years. That broke my heart. I adopted Gizmo three months after losing Tinkerbell and he has truly filled in my family again.
3. I tried stand up and didn’t die! That was a huge bucket list moment I was too scared to even say out loud let alone pursue. I will always be grateful to Ragini for believing in me and also for pushing me when I needed it most.
4. I learned to ask for help. I had one of the hardest years this year (although social media probably fails to project that so remember that when you judge yourself and your struggles in relation to others) My family, my friends, my team on Puppet Killer, they really rallied to keep me strong and to keep me going. That truly changed my life
5. WE FINISHED PUPPET KILLER! I have been working on this film for 4 years, and to finally share it in theaters with audiences brings tears to my eyes. It is a goal I have worked towards nearly my whole life.
The cheetah and I are BACK in Vancouver to see you doing something great but we are once AGAIN a day early and you’re stuck playing tour guide, what are we doing?
Hmmm, well right now it is pissing rain and I am hiding in a cafe doing work. If it was now, we would probably do indoor things like underground bowling, a comedy show, Maybe drive to Whistler and hope it is snowing there instead of raining!
I like to thank Lisa for her time and also congratulate her and her team for all the accolades that “Puppet Killer” has been racking up.  I do believe Simon is going to really become a big hit.
