there's no way bakugou would willingly move in with a stranger so when the opportunity came, moving in with a family friend was his only option. your relationship with bakugou could've barely been classified as "acquaintances," but at least you had your mothers to vouch for the other.

in the beginning, he'd most definitely keep to himself in his bedroom. small talk wasn't exactly his strong suit, so it forced you to be the one to close the gap. it'd probably start with him coming home from a bad day at work and you hear a plate shattering in the kitchen. you'd come out to see him holding another plate for the smashing with the most deadpan "oops" you've ever heard. (you're grateful that he moved on from his wall punching phase from his teenage years)

after that night, you made it a habit to ask him about his day and let him complain to his heart's content. you then start to notice him lingering around the apartment more often- sitting at the bar while you're cooking your dinner, taking a seat on the opposite side of the dining room table with you while you work on your laptop, even sitting on the balcony with you with your cups of tea early in the morning.

the more comfortable he got with you, the more irritating he became. he'd do things to purposely piss you off, like drinking straight from the milk carton and sending you a photo of it, drawing explicit things on the condensation of the bathroom mirror for you to find after his shower, and leaving his socks haphazardly thrown around the apartment.

of course through his rudeness, you were quick to catch onto his love language. need some floating shelves installed? just pretend to struggle a bit and then next thing you know he's ripping the tools from your hands and telling you to go away while he got to work. having a late start? he already has your tea steeping on the kitchen counter. forgot to switch out your laundry? sure, he'll lecture you about leaving wet clothes in the washer for too long, but you'll come home to your dry clothes in your basket next to your bedroom door.

the romance would come slow. he'd come home late at night and you're up waiting to hear his grievances about his annoying boss and coworkers, and he'd sit back and hear about your stupid assignments and professors. when the conversation comes to a lul, you're both staring at each other, fingertips tingling, and thinking to yourselves about how you can't wait to do it all over again the next day.

Although i dont write much for jing yuan, i love all the ideas surrounding being a guardian figure to yanqing or just chilling with the dude so often jing yuan takes full blown advantage of it to get closer to u bc hes deep down a bit of a loser who never really got a chance to approach u before. I love this.

Hes so pathetic in his own silly way that its endearing. Poorly disguised excuses to invite u over to "watch over yanqing practicing' turning into slow chess sessions while jy tells u about cool stuff to (hopefully) impress u while yanqing's js swinging at dummies in the bg. Spoils u indirectly by treating u and yanqing to reallllyyy expensive tea from time to time saying its great for a practicing warrior and u question why u need it and he js smiles at u like :) well there's too much of it and its really expensive so it would be such a shame if u didnt drink some.....

Hes so desperate with that lazy smile on his face its almost funny. i think in the beginning he’d try to, kind of like it being his way of wooing her or impressing her. whimsy would think it’s just sooo sweet that he’s willing to do something that she loves so much, and would just give him free rein to do whatever he wants. the issue arises when it becomes glaringly obvious that he’s actually shit at choosing notes and complementary scents. his candles end up smelling like bog water and the mini perfumes he make seem to evaporate before they’re even on skin.

i think there’d be a similar issue with tea, starting with the fact that this man simply does not drink tea in the first place. i feel like he’s more of a coffee guy as it is, so green/black tea just never sounded appetising. HOWEVER. i think he falls in love with whimsy’s chai. like it’s got that milky element that he likes, it’s got the caffiene, and it just tastes that fucking good. his favourite would be her version of kashmiri chai; the little boy in him feels emasculated over ever enjoying a pink drink, but his tastebuds win him over everytime he takes a sip.

now whenever she is actively making her lil potions, rafe hovers. he’s a hover-er. he watches everything like a hawk; making sure her hands don’t get too close to any open flames, moving any jars she’d precariously left near the corners of her table. he’d always be reminding her to wear her gloves and apron and has that ‘disappointed dad’ expression whenever she accidentally burns herself whilst making candles. with the perfumes, he can’t stand to be in the room for too long, all the fumes and smells giving him a headache. he’s always asking whimsy how she can even survive in there, then realises he needs to start taking her out for fresh air whenever she becomes too absorbed; he wonders if the gases have had some sort of effect on her.. bc it would for one explain her ‘weirdness’.

he’s very good at collecting all her dried flowers though ^_^ i think his favourite thing to do is bag all the rose petals and organise her drawer of tea blends. he’d surprise her with expensive tea plants that he’d especially gotten imported just for her </3

if she were to gift him with a cologne out of nowhere, he’d literally be speechless. so that’s why he wasn’t allowed in her studio (he was like a lost puppy just sitting outside her door begging to be let in). she’d be like “just wanted to give my sun a little stardust. i tried to make it smell like things that remind me of you.” it’s literally the most thoughtful gift anyone’s ever gotten him, and his heart stutters painfully when she reveals it’s called ‘ray.’ a perfume for him, under her nickname for him. (you just know she got it good that night….)

Just hear me out...Deuce tries so hard to remember + take part in your self care stuff. He has a whole note section on his phone dedicated to what kind of face cleanser you use, the type of face cream you are picky about, what eye mask branch you like, any makeup you like, nail care oils, etc. He doesn't quite understand feminine care, but he tries hard for you! Also asks his mother about the different types of face toner, cleanser, serum, jade roller, etc. Oddly, but genuinely, finds face masks relaxing. Boy studies a lot, he needs it!

self care nights Will be a thing once u bring them up . generally i hc deuce prefers the milder, cleaner scents for his skin (cucumber, honey, etc) and avoids things like heavy florals/heavier scents in general (orange, rose, etc) simply bc they overwhelm him a bit and his skin's a tad sensitive :( but he does enjoy face masks like you mentioned- they make him feel refreshed and pampered <33

and if you want to do your nails he likes to watch you paint your nails <3 deuce isn't a gossipy bitch but he LIVESSS for spilling tea over painted nails and drinks , , , will ask you to do clear coats on his nails or solid dark blue on his nails but if you want to experiment who is he to say no , , , he can't deny his partner if they want to treat him and put so much care into him , , (just no acrylics or extensions pls they feel so heavy and they Will break by accident within 24 hours) , , , also gets sooo lovesick if you ever wear dark blue on your nails because they remind you of him , ,, hes such a sentimental loverboy i love him .

✦ Husk appreciates your kind nature; it’s really admirable how you always try to be sweet to everyone, even to people he wouldn’t be able to be that way with. Especially with you being an Overlord, this is quite the rare attribute.

✦ He also loves when your kindness is directed towards him; even though he doesn’t really like to admit it, he’s a bit lazy, so any act of service is greatly appreciated. Also, after a tiring day of tending to the bar and listening to other demons’ worries and struggles, he really needs someone who’s willing to lend a listening ear to him in return, and you’re usually the first individual who’s willing to do that.

✦ Sometimes though, and Husk knows this, anger gets the best of you.

✦ The first time this happens, he’s taken aback: kind words are replaced with spewed insults and sarcasm over things that he considers small or petty; he might even try to hold you back if you try to get physical or break something over whatever’s happening, enraging you even more.

✦ When your anger subsides a little and all you’re left with are anxious feelings, you break down and tell him that this is ‘the real you’, and confess to struggling with anger issues. Expecting him to be afraid and leave you, you’re surprised when he reassuringly pats your back and tells you that he gets it, everyone feels angry sometimes, it’s not something you need to feel guilty over.

✰ Vox surprisingly has the ability to stay calm in most situations; as seen in the series, he doesn’t get upset when his phone gets thrown against the wall and ends up broken or when others around him are angry.

✰ So, when it comes to you having anger issues, he doesn’t have much of a reaction. He’s not scared of you being an Overlord, besides he can defend himself very well if needed.

✰  At first he might make the mistake of using his acoustokinesis if you’re straight up yelling at him, to get some sense into you, but, when he realizes it’s very much like yelling back, he’ll stop and give you space to rant instead.

✰ He might even excuse himself for a while until you’ve calmed down if it gets really bad, and come back later to comfort you the best way that he can. Sometimes breaks and time alone can be very helpful when it comes to anger, they give us time to think and come up with a better solution that isn’t yelling or mistreating things.

✰ Vox also knows that your anger doesn’t really define you, and that you’re actually a really pleasant individual to have around; your kindness and sweetness are a much appreciates breath of fresh air at the V tower, you’re usually the one dealing with other demons’ problems and trying to help everyone.

How I think the HH crew takes their coffee

Lucifer orders the most complicated, sugary, step specific drink you could imagine. He is hated by baristas everywhere. Also gets so excited when ordering he changes it at least 3 times halfway through explaining it. Probably gets something different everytime too. He is a regular with no usual. Charlie canonically likes frappaccinos! Like her dad, I can see her having similar tastes, sugar, but also wanting to keep it simple so that she doesn't overwhelm the employees (she's too considerate for her own good). Orders straight from the menu exactly how it is with no alterations, is also the one who probably walks in with a list of orders for her friends, goes as slow as possible for the cashiers sake. Angeldust rolls up to the drivethrough hung over and orders something iced- probably a caramel drink and he asks for it to specifically be drowned in caramel, and an extra shot. Either that or a vanilla iced latte. Vaggie is not a huge fan of coffee, she gets a tea or tea latte instead. Earl grey is her favourite and she likes a lot of milk. Alastor loves a nice extra hot black coffee. He wants that bitch scolding and bitter. Doesn't even drink it, just splashes it in his face. Where that would normally give someone 3rd degree burns, it gives him some 'extra pep' in the morning, as he puts it (god he's a fucking freak) Husk takes his coffee black also, but instead will spike it with his own bourbon he keeps in a flask. Will sometimes get cream and sugar if he's feeling, as he puts it , 'fancy' (bro is so low maintenance) Nifty isn't allowed to have caffeine for obvious reasons Sir Pentious is another non-coffee drinker but drinks exclusively tea. Is a bit of a snob about it too. Needs the leaves to be fresh or he WILL be able to taste the burntness. His favourite is peppermint. Would rather die than bother the barista to remake it though so he normally brews his own with his own needlessly complicated tea making invention of course.  Cherri bomb loooooves caffine, but isn't much of a coffee drinker. More of a monster energy and redbull kinda gal. She needs something she can drink fast and hard. Don't even get me started on those 5 hour energy drinks. Oh boy. Don't let her near them (she will kill u for one) Vox is an avid coffee drinker. Practically lives off of it and can't get through the day without (it's a problem). Definately has one of those 'don't talk to me before I've had my coffee' mugs bc he's an asshole. Drinks like 5-6 cups in a single day. Send help. Velvette gets a coffee once in the morning and then one in the afternoon. Pulls up to the cash register with her sunglasses on and outfit for the day put together, intimidating buisness lady vibes off the charts while she orders between phone calls. Also definately shushes the barista of they try to ask her any questions, can't you see she's on the phone? Her order is LONG and COMPLICATED and she needs it made the way she likes to a T, she also talks fast and no she will NOT repeat herself so you better be a fast writer. Probably gets something vanilla flavoured with 3 shots of espresso in it. Valentino isn't a coffee guy but if he needs it for a long shoot or late night he gets either an Americano or pure espresso shots. No time to waste with the frills and fancy stuff despite the look of him. Also will throw the cup at the barista if the shots come out burnt or expired.

While you sleep in the guest bedroom Herlock likes to watch you sleep maybe it was the way your relaxed state made him feel giddy or the fact that he can touch you and kiss you while you sleep. That, or just because you look really cute when you sleep. It's definitely because of the latter reason.

After dinner, Iris wanted to sleep early so she could prepare herself for the big day tomorrow so you decided to leave soon after but Iris wanted you to stay so you could read her a bedtime story, even if it was late and there's a high chance that there will be fewer cabs at this late hour but your heart ached seeing how disappointed she was by the turn of events earlier you didn't want her to be unhappy or feel bad and besides, she asked you nicely after all.

When Iris started to doze off, you carefully moved away from the book and stood up where Herlock was with his trusty pipe in his hand.

"It looks like your soothing voice really made Iris sleep, that's a kind of talent that I needed before when Iris was a baby." Herlock chuckled reminiscing about those memories, You giggled in reply, "Well then my dear lady, I should walk you home, at this late hour there are many thugs that are willing to prey on an unsuspecting woman like you." Herlock said as you both walked down the stairs, even though you were worried that you might bother Herlock but at the same time you do prioritize your safety too, "Oh, well, you are right."

Walking home was very relaxing, small conversation there while Herlock smoked his pipe but it was a very pleasant silence and when you reached your home you said goodbye and goodnight.

"Well then thank you for walking with me Herlock, sorry if it was a bother, well then see you tomorrow!" You said but before you could open your door, Herlock took your hand and kissed it, he then gave you a very seductive eye and hugged you.

"Well then, I'll be off, make sure that you actually keep your promise tomorrow, yes? You do not want to ruin Iris's smile do you?. . .'

regarding your rant on frances design: TELL ME ABOUT IT. tbh i think all the designs peaked with beautiful world, and everything after that was just...discount budget versions of whoever theyre supposed to be. the beautiful world designs are GORGEOUS on their own, but compared to world stars? theres no contest. some designs i do like, like england looks nice, if not a little too polished, and portugal is really cute, but everyone else just got twinkified and butchered. and i love a twink! i do! but they look like they could be swapped out with my little pony designs and it wouldnt make a difference. france to me will always be a blonde with a ponytail, a little unkempt, with chest hair and stubble and flamboyantly manly with a touch of tragedy. thats france to me. not whatever waif they cooked up in the more recent series

cuz the early seasons england gets his crankiness on point but this design fits just how cranky and posh(?) he is, like he dresses like an old man and wears outdated 'punk' fashion, he drinks tea like an old lady.. it fits hes cute and expressive.

this england isLOSING hair where did his EYEBROWS GO!!!! thats HIS WHOLE FUCKING CHARACTER but also i really dislike the change from him going from a dirty blond to a bleach blond... doesnt work...

i want my man to look like he has a nicotine addiction, rugged and smug as shit. i think they leaned too hard on the 'tsundere' trope for him cuz hes not puffy cheeks with pouty lips hes an old man with a laundry list of war crimes

ok. this one is a little hard cuz romano is good in ever season but he has these little minor changes that drive me CRAZY but my favorite will always be the earlier seasons

this ver of romano was a NASTY bitch he just showed up to be an asshole and i love it so much , i love his hair being dark brown with brown eyes ok , at the minimum his design fit his voice...

for beautiful world i think hes cute but i really don't ? like his eyes being green? like i dont know it just never felt right to me:( i like him having brown eyes

and later his design leans into the prev but when u look at him u don't see that one guy who REALLY doesn't wanna be here hes . too soft?

and the newer romano does have the bad attitude but now he's suffering from the 'progressively becoming a ginger' syndrome that a lot of hws characters have now

my pick for him is all over the place bc i think his new design is SO FUCKING CUTE like i wanna bite him and crocodile death roll him but i think he is SUFFERING from cuteness.... hes so . soft?

earlier seasons of russia showed up just to say some morbid shit and be brutal as fuck but he could also lean into being cute, thats his whole gimmick, cute but scary. his current design is cute with no threat.

i think beautiful world had that balance between cute and scary, he was cute and say mean shit like before and was ready to throw down any time america showed up, thats his whole deal. and you know at the bare minimum he's supposed to be fucking BIG and world stars makes him look like a fucking twink

i think my favorite ver of him is still his original cuz i preferred him with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and he's side part... it was so cute... and they swapped it for a middle part .... </3
