idk the last time i did a theory/full lore post on anything since 17 year old me played mystic messenger in 2017 (IN FUCKING PHYSICS!!!!!) but for some reason 14 days with you has been on the forefront of my brain for over a year so. also it's so funny how not into yandere games/dark romance i was years ago but the moment i started college and started reading shit like ACOTAR (not dark romance but like... y'know... rhys...) i am like damn... what if someone was THAT into me me... (this does not include haunting adeline i fucking hate that book)

anyways sorry for the ramble!!!! some fun stuff i have found in the last idk few days of perusing old stuff, new stuff, etc.

I have been super interested in finding out his name, which i will send guesses sometime to the ask box when i have more as to not spoil anything if i'm right. BUT, i can share everything i have collected! i do know we will know more about him in day 7 possibly but i want to hopefully give some help if anyone wants to guess like me!

so, with this in mind i have a few ideas. it seems the letter "R" is in the fourth position in his name. the letter "E" seems to be at the end of his name. i believe his name may be unisex or possibly more typically feminine, but he was named by his mother after her two friends (which i believe are Teo's relatives). some guesses about the name i have are: i believe his name may begin with an L or F, but this is just a guess i have but i do not believe it begins with a C. either "ren" is in his name altogether or another variation such as rien. but! this is just a theory (matpat... thank u).

2. Ren's hands!

so we know ren has scarred hands from an accident prior to the events of the game before he ran from home. i don't know exactly what caused the scarring, but i believe it was some kind of altercation with his father from the sounds of it. it was said that ren left his mom in absolute hysterics when he left, so i believe there are a few things that could have happened.

i don't know if ren's father would hurt his mother but let's assume he wouldn't, maybe ren was presenting more masculine, talking back to his father, becoming a "threat" towards taylor, who knows! whatever happened, ren got into an altercation with taylor that ended in the scarring. I believe it has something to do with fire, taylor may have been set of fire somehow. maybe taylor wanted to burn the house down. OR, maybe ren tried to burn the house down with taylor in it...

it's possible that taylor may have tried to harm ren's mother that he attempted to save his mom and burn his father/harm his father. whatever happened, hana was not present for this as i believe this is when ren ran away from home IF this is how it happened.

maybe what happened to his hands was much longer before he left. i've seen some questioning that when leon had a birthday party, he invited hana but she did not go for reasons unknown. what this could mean is that something happened WHEN hana still lived there before she was sent off to school. maybe this was when ren got the scars on his hands. maybe taylor tried to harm ren due to him simply being male, maybe it was something else. maybe ren fought back. maybe taylor tried to hurt ren's mother, causing him to be punished by his father. all i know is, ren in an ask has said “I-I didn’t mean to… He— I didn’t have much of a choice…”

a while ago, saint put out this playlist and explained that characters and endings are connected to the songs. from other's guesses and my own curiosity, i went through and did some eliminations and found these to be the most possible to be connected:

Heather Says: I think that this is the only WIP on here but I cannot rightfully leave it off because I LOVED this fic this year. I love the Mistborn series, but I've never really sought out fic for it before. This one though, this one found me. The writing is SUPERB and I wish it was a bigger fandom because it deserves so much love, you guys. It's so so so good. I love Wax and Wayne's dynamic in the series. They're great. But also- what if they had an enemies to lovers thing going on that turned poly? WHAT IF?!

It is so incredibly amazing and since I never finished the series, I will happily go on pretending that this is how it ended.

You spend chapter after chapter watching Zelda and Link traverse Hyrule with the hot Gerudo that they met along the way after the events of the first game. And it is so fucking compelling. Honestly, while I'm happy that they smooched, I would have been completely fine reading another 100k of just these three wandering Hyrule together, being absolute goblins. 10 out 10, will read again.

Link wakes up a century early. It changes everything. Heather Says: Can you tell that playing Tears of the Kingdom left me desperately thirsty for any and all Ganondorf content this summer? I'm a sucker for all sides of the poly triforce but I'll admit that Ganondorf and Link scratches that enemies to lovers itch PERFECTLY if it's done well. And this one is done well.

Guys, I have no chill about this fic. I have no chill about Steve's hands in Eddie's hair, or the sounds that he makes, or the smell of strawberry. It is just so so good.

Stiles starts fighting in college. He doesn't tell anyone. Heather Says: There are three...? Yeah, three Teen Wolf fics on this list. Three. Like it's 2015 again. Like my brain broke and time went ticking all the way back to when I was ridiculously invested in these characters. But honestly? All three Teen Wolf fics on this list are incredibly therapeutic. They get to be the ending for me instead of whatever clusterfuck good ole Jeff tried to pull. This one in particular is fantastic because it's canon-divergence after SEASON one. Yes, we have Erica and Boyd. Yes, Stiles is BAMF. It's a good read.

Heather Says: Okay, so I STILL have not finished this game. I have however very carefully consumed as much content as I can get my hands on without being completely and totally spoiled. This was the first fic that I really loved in this fandom. It's no surprise that I ship Astarion happily with everyone, but damn is he good with Karlach in this one. Their characterization is perfect.

Heather Says: Oh look, another fandom that I have never ever been a part of. I saw this REALLY NEAT and angsty tiktok (tw for ghosty gore) and basically immediately was sucked into a show that I've never even watched before. The comments lead me to this fic which is perfectly gen, angsty, and honestly absolutely perfect. I cannot get over how much I loved this.

Harry Potter is dead. In the aftermath of the war, in order to strengthen the might of the magical world, Voldemort enacts a repopulation effort. Heather Says: I did the thing. I read the incredibly dark fic that I've been avoiding since 2018. I typically steer-clear of anything that is overly bleak and I do not tiptoe into non-con waters often. But one of our groomsmen who isn't even involved with fandom read this so that his girlfriend would watch Star Wars with him and then spent a good portion of a Halloween party talking it up. So I gave it a shot. Over all, it is too bleak for me. That said, I finished it in a weekend. I loved it. I hated it. I wish I'd broken it up over a longer period of time because the emotional bleed off of it was intense.

Don and Kathy would move in together. They would have a dog or two and then inevitably, a small parade of adorable little brats who would call him Uncle Cosmo, and they would spend less and less time with him, not on purpose but busy with the rest of their lives, and ultimately Cosmo would learn to make his peace with it because he’d have no other choice and he would have to try to move on and not live too much in his memories. He could picture it so clearly, he figured if the songwriting gig with Monumental didn’t pan out, he could always return to the backwater circuit with a new act: The Amazing Cosmo of the Cosmos—ladies and gentlemen, he sees the future, he reads the stars, he silently pines for his best married pal and all the while tap dancing! Don and Kathy inviting him along on their honeymoon, though—that part was a surprise. Heather Says: I LOVE this movie. It is one of my biggest comfort movies. I watch it to feel happy. I watch it when I'm sad. And I have always shipped these three but NEVER read fic for it. And honestly? I'm glad I waited for a good fic to find me because this one was perfect.

Heather Says: I'm told that this is something of a rarepair. However, from the limited information that I have from the series I can say with full certainty that two ghostly beings locked for years as enemies growing up and meeting in the middle? Fully my thing.

And this one is just so syrupy sweet. It's winter! There's horses! Derek's an alpha! They smooch. Anyway, this is how I cope with a series finale that didn't happen and a movie that doesn't exist.

Do you pine for a place to share and learn even more? Want to connect with like-minded election deniers?

Well, with just 60 days until the 2024 presidential election, and with efforts to undermine the outcome of the vote already well underway, there’s now an app just for you—and no, it’s not Elon Musk’s X.

Facebook for Election Deniers

VoteAlert is a new app from the election conspiracy group True the Vote, a company with a rich history of combining tech with election conspiracies only to come up with nothing. In 2022, True the Vote claimed to have evidence showing that so-called ballot mules were being used to stuff drop boxes to sway the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor. Earlier this year they admitted in court they had no such evidence.

But that didn’t slow them down. The group has already rolled out one online tool this election season called IV3 to facilitate mass voter roll challenges, and with VoteAlert, the group now wants to give election workers and poll watchers the chance to get in on the action.

VoteAlert is designed to be a one-stop shop for all your election conspiracy needs, featuring a scrollable feed of the latest voting-related alerts, the ability to report your own claims, and even, apparently, a 24/7 hotline.

The app isn’t available in Apple’s or Google’s app stores, but is available as a web app, so people can still join. Catherine Engelbrecht, cofounder of True the Vote, did indicate in online meetings in recent weeks that the apps would be available on the major platforms, but it’s unclear right now when that will happen. True the Vote did not respond to a request for comment about VoteAlert.

Before you sign in, the app asks you to agree to a disclaimer that’s a little different from those of most apps: “It is up to you to use VoteAlert responsibly. Federal law prohibits actions that can be viewed as voter intimidation, including photo, video, or audio recording of voters while inside protected polling place boundaries.”

Users of the app are then presented with what looks like a typical social media feed of text, images, and videos. But instead of lime-green memes about Kamala, Instagram cooking videos, or “very demure” videos on TikTok, initial indications suggest the feed will be filled with livestreams of drop boxes in Wisconsin or reports of Wi-Fi-connected voting machines in Arizona.

While the app isn’t really up and running yet, we’ve got a glimpse into its possible future thanks to test posts from Engelbrecht’s team that cover the wide gamut of conspiracies the group has been pushing.

“It says I already voted by mail?” asks D from Loudoun County, Virginia, in a test post that popped up in my feed. “I just moved a few months ago and went to get my voter registration and address updated. They told me that I have already voted by mail—but I haven't.”

Meanwhile, JR in Kent County, Delaware, claimed in another test post that someone was having a bake sale “trying to get people to vote for certain candidates.” (There is a very clear sign on the cookie table with the prices; a quick reverse image search shows the image dates back to at least 2017.)

Meg Denning, who works with True the Vote, has also posted, claiming: “​​All the machines went down and there was a wifi [sic] connection,” referring to a favorite conspiracy among election deniers that the internet itself has been used to conduct voter fraud on a mass scale.

Though these are just test posts, the section of the app that allows users to report their own claims shows just how focused True the Vote is on promoting election conspiracies.

The app also allows users to indicate their location, precinct number, and whether they are an election worker or poll watcher. It also helpfully offers you a predefined list of possible voting issues to report, including “ballot harvesting or trafficking” and “non-citizen voting,” which are concerns that groups like True the Vote have been baselessly promoting in recent months.

If you believe your situation is life or death, the app even has a built-in emergency 24/7 hotline you can call to report your outrage. “Thank you for calling True the Vote,” the chirpy automated female voice responds after a couple of rings. “We appreciate your commitment to liberty.”

No one picked up when I called.

The automated voice did tell me to send an email or leave a voicemail before signing off: “Ever onward.”

SPOILERS AHEAD, in can you could not have guessed.

Okay so IT. IT is one of my top 3 movies of all time (if not all time) in which I watched it about 5 times in a week when I first got into it. (I also have not read the book yet but I have been planning on it for a while, just need to get my hands on it.) I really enjoyed it personally, and I don't think it is that scary anymore, but I was originally scared shitless the first time I tried to watch it years ago when I was not into horror yet. Even though it was made in 2017, it still has that 80s horror feel to it that I love, and I love the dynamic between the group of 7 in the first movie.

Now buckle up, because I am about to go full on special interest on this ask and yap about its inherent queerness and how it affects the story line and how it could've been used more.

Richie, Eddie, and the inherent queerness between the two. It was very clear that Richie, if not Eddie as well, were very much implied to be interested in each other.

But more specifically Richie. I honestly wish they did more with them, but it was very clear that they were a duo; a pair within the original group of 4. Putting it out now: I have not actually seen IT Chapter 2 all the way through as I kept crying over Stanley's death, and I honestly was extremely disappointed in how they handled the film as a whole, and the decline in quality. So, my information may not be entirely correct, but in the end of IT chapter 2, we see a clip of Richie carving he and Eddie's initials into the bridge. As well as I believe when Eddie dies later in the film, Richie tries to go back to get his body/doesn't want to leave him behind. Richie was obviously head over heels for him from the start to finish, and you could tell. From the constant bickering; teasing; borderline obsession that he had for Eddie. In the book, I believe Richie would also call Eddie "Eddie Spaghetti" multiple times, don't quote me though. All of this to say, Richie loved Eddie. A LOT. To the point that in the second movie Richie was out as gay but STILL hadn't found a lover, whilst we see both Stanley, Bill, and Eddie married, as well with Beverly with a boyfriend (in the beginning of the film, at least). I am not saying that some of these relationships are healthy by any means (especially Eddie's which I will explain soon), but it goes to show that many of the people from the core 7 found relationships, and yet Richie did not.

Now Eddie is slightly more complicated, as all throughout IT we see the toxic relationship between his mother, and how she gaslit him into believing he was sick all the time. This would then later end up with him marrying someone else very similar to his mother who treated him very much the same. Then, at the end where he ends up dying, it ends very tragically where his whole life he had to live with people being very controlling over him and him never getting to experience that freedom he deserved. I bring this up because in IT, we see near the end where Eddie is told that his medication are placebos, and he tells his mother he's tired of her trying to keep him away from his friends. He realised there that he was happier and more free when he was with his friends, and (though not said) specifically Richie as well in my opinion. Richie was unabashedly himself, and wasn't afraid to be weird with his friends. I know it is strongly theorised that Richie is ADHD as well, which could also play a part. All the while both Stan and Bill are more reserved in my opinion, both as Bill was self-conscious because of his stutter, and Stanley being bullied for being jewish (both of which we see happen in the beginning of IT). Eddie felt more comfortable around his friends, and specifically Richie because he truly did not care enough about acting weird. Though I believe it is never actually shown that Eddie had a romantic interest in Richie, I strongly believe it could've been something if the writers allowed it.

Now, Eddie and Richie's interactions with each other (in the first movie, because as I have said I have not seen enough of the second movie to speak on it much). Many times, we see specifically Richie and Eddie interacting. To be honest, they are probably the 2 people we see interacting the most throughout the entire movie. One scene I want to bring up specifically, which took me multiple watches to catch, is that at I believe the Derry festival, Richie comes back with 2 ice cream cones, and gives one to Eddie. Now, whether Eddie had directly asked him to get him a cone, or Richie just buying it for him, I think it shows just how much Richie did care about him. I think it shows a little bit of how they interact with each other when we don't see them (on camera). And sure, you can buy ice cream for your friends, but would you not also either ask if anyone else wanted one? You could make the argument that he couldn't carry it but it doesn't disprove the fact Richie specifically bought ice cream for Eddie, which shows how he cared for him.

Richie and Eddie are also constantly bickering back and forth. From when Eddie is trying to help Ben after getting stabbed and him telling Richie to shut up with the silly voices, or in the sewer scene where Richie constantly bickers to Eddie about him being afraid to enter. You can obviously see Richie being the comedic relief, but always more-so to Eddie. To me, I interpret this as him seeing that Eddie is almost always on edge, and trying to distract him to make sure he's happier. And while we do see Eddie get annoyed at Richie, I don't think we ever truly saw him get angry at him or be upset, other than slightly annoyed or exasperated.

I know l am yapping, but to answer your next question about how they defeated pennywise the first time, I think Richie and Eddie's relationship still play a fairly large role. They learn that in order to defeat Pennywise, they have to stop being afraid. We see Richie constantly worry about Eddie when in the house, and basically stuck to his side. In the scene where they are in Bill's garage and watching the projector, when Pennywise shows up on it, we see in the background Richie grabbing onto Eddie, and Eddie grabbing onto him. In a moment of fear, they automatically reached towards each other. This to me they they feel most safe when they are together/close. This makes me think that Richie was really the one that helped Eddie be brave enough to face Pennywise and defeat him. While I think Richie was able to be brave enough to defeat Pennywise because he not only cares about the group but also wanted to keep Eddie safe.

All of this to say; Richie and Eddie were very much implied to be queer (in the movies); even more-so when Richie was confirmed to be gay in the second movie. I really wish that we got to see Richie and Eddie get together to not only have that queer representation, but because I honestly think it would have been a healthy relationship, like it was in the beginning. Richie constantly distracting and teasing Eddie; then comforting each other in times of fear; doing little things for the other. They both cared about each other a lot and I am truly disappointed on the fact we never got to see a happy ending for Eddie, where after years of being in an abusive relationship where Eddie is made to be dependent on the people that are supposed to be your most trusted, he just, dies. We never get to see him get out of those relationships and find someone better (AKA Richie). I truly think the story of Richie and Eddie after IT Chapter 2 could have been its own movie or mini series/book (even though it wouldn't have been). To see Richie be in contact with Eddie again and maybe help him realise he's in an abusive relationship and help him get out of it. At that point it doesn't when have to be romantic but just a deep and intense love for wanting the other to be happy. It would have made a great ending of 2 characters finally finding happiness in each other again after years of struggling.

So there. You asked about my opinion of IT and here it is. This took me like an hour as I immediately started writing after getting this ask, but I enjoyed it. It's nice to finally put my thoughts on this movie into a (hopefully) coherent analysis. Idea. Yandere Jolyne x male reader who's Kakyoin's son and are childhood friends and they also have a daughter together who is still a newborn. But he leaves Jolyne as he doesn't trust her with there daughter. But Jolyne finds them and says "Yare Yare Dawa. I don't want to leave her family like my old man did to me and my mom." And takes reader away. Also this is in 2017 5 years after part 6 ended and Kakyoin dies to Pucci so Pucci would die to Jotaro so Kakyoin's son is also still depressed about his dad's death which is why him and Jolyne hook up to try and make him happy but it doesn't work. Just wanted to clarify that. So seems like a lot to work with but I think you can something good out of this.

It all started 5 years ago.

Jotaro and Kakyoin, as well as their children, were fighting against the priest that tried to finish what Dio started.

It was a tough fight, the time speeding so fast was confusing. Weeks passed with every minute and they had no time to waste. If they didn't stop Pucci, Dio's dream would come true.

"Emerald Splash!" Kakyoin screamed, directing his Hierophant Green in attempt to distract Pucci, who was getting awfully close to Jolyne. It worked, the priest's attention now on him, creating the perfect bait for the start of their plan.

"Star Platinum! The World!" Jotaro yelled and time stopped. Nothing was moving anymore, but Jotaro knew he had only a few seconds to do something or the battle would be over. He had to move and do something, anything now.

7 seconds left.

Before he could reach Pucci and snap his neck, Jotaro noticed something horrifying.

Both Kakyoin and Jolyne were in danger.

Kakyoin was surrounded by hundreds of knives that would stab his insides the very second time would start again. Exactly the same position he was in 23 years ago, when he battled Dio.

5 seconds left.

And his daughter had Pucci right beside her, his fist an inch away from piercing her stomach.

For the first time in his life, Jotaro was terrified.

Life put him in the position of choosing whether to save his life-long bestfriend, taking the risk of ending the world or save his daughter and bring this hell to an end.

His heart was racing in his chest, beads of sweat dripping down his forehead.

4 seconds left.

His eyes darted to Kakyoin, all the memories of what they went through flashing in his mind.

They moved to his son, who was standing there frozen as everyone else. He would hate him forever.

3 seconds left.

You can't do good without sacrifices.

He learned that long ago, after losing two of his other friends.

With pain in his heart, Jotaro made his decision. He dashed to Pucci and pushed him away from Jolyne, his punches letting all his fury out.

"Time starts moving again." He whispered and everything resumed. The injured priest was thrown away at an insane speed, landing straight into a building with a fatal injury.

At the same time, Kakyoin was pierced by the knifes, falling helplessly onto the ground. As soon as Jolyne realised what happened, she called out her stand into an useless attempt of saving the red haired man.

However, it was too late.

Both Kakyoin and Pucci died, proof being the disappearance of their stands. Time moved at a normal speed again, minutes passing correctly, while the emeralds left by Noriaki vanished.

"Dad!" An awful scream made its way out of your lungs, tears flooding your eyes at the realization. You ran to your father's lifeless body, shaking him. "Please, dad, no! Don't leave me too!"

Jotaro felt his usually stoic heart crumble into pieces at the sound so he looked in other direction, far away to the ocean. His breathing was heavy, both because of the injuries and the guilt he felt.

There was nothing he could do anymore.

Ever since that day, you fell into a sever depression. You were constantly thinking about your father and why did the universe decide it should take him from you.

You couldn't blame Jotaro for choosing to save the world over saving your father. It was the right decision. But you also couldn't get over the fact that the only person you had left disappeared.

You looked like a mess every day and even if you had a job, you couldn't say your life was good. Your only social contact outside your work zone was Jolyne and you honestly couldn't say it was good.

Her emerald eyes were a constant reminder of your dad's stand, which made your heart break every time.

Jolyne was desperate. She had no clue what to do with you. Most considered you were a lost cause, but she didn't want to give up on you. She refused to. You two grew up togheter, she could not give you up.

It broke her heart. Seeing you like this made her want to cry out.

She tried talking you into therapy, but you refused to cooperate.

"Come on, it's been years, Y/N. You have to stop drinking your pain away, you are ruining yourself! Your dad would hate seeing you like this!" she said, shaking you. When you were not at work, you would drown yourself in alcohol, being your only escape.

"Stop."

"It's true! Mr. Noriaki would hate seeing how you destroy yourself every day, he-" she wanted to scold you again, but you suddenly yelled–

"Stop talking about him as if you know anything! It's only your fault anyway!"

Jolyne took a step back at your outburst. She knew you didn't mean it, but with the way your eyes held a deep hatred...Her heart ache.

"Yare yare dawa..." she shook her head, biting the inner part of her lip anxiously. You took drunk steps towards her, your much taller frame covering hers. "You have no idea what you're saying, let's get you to bed." the girl murmured, going to take your hand but you jerked away from her, almost falling before you were able to brace yourself.

"I'm t-tired of everyone acting like the-y kn...knew my father! I'm the only one th-at " you stumbled upon your words. "I'm just f-fine with how I live."

"Whatever you say." she took your arm successfully this time and dragged you to your room. You were trying to get away from her grip, but she refused to let go, throwing you onto the bed easily because of your drunk self.

The next day, you couldn't remember anything from that night. The only thing you remembered was that her lips met yours to shut you up and, from then...Blank. Everything was blank.

When you opened your eyes, you certainly didn't expect to see Jolyne laying next to you....naked. You looked around the room, the bright light burning your eyes. This was your room, there was no doubt. So why was Jolyne naked?

You knew she had a habit to sleep in her lingerie, but that didn't explain why you were also naked. It couldn't be that, could it?

However, the ache on your broad shoulders going all the way to your lower back, the way her neck was covered in small bite marks and hickeys, along with the ripped sheets beneath her, proved you wrong. That it could be.

You and your childhood best friend, Jolyne Cujoh, just had sex. And from the unseenable condom, it was unprotected.

No words were spoken between the two of you as Jolyne muttered a small 'Yare yare dawa' when she first got up. And she just left in silence, leaving you alone with your thoughts.

Even if it wasn't the right thing to do, you completely cut off every single way she could contact you. Blocking her number and all of her social medias, even her father's and her friends', you even went as far as changing the locks in your home, you ignored her existence as if she never existed in the first place. Not even knowing about the growing baby in her belly.

And, that didn't go unnoticed by the young female.

The woman wasn't patient as this trait didn't run in her family. She tried everything, even broke into your home, which almost made you get you a restraining order.

That, until you saw the loose skin on her belly, decorated with stretch marks. Which could indicate only one thing. A previous pregnancy.

"Where is the child, Jolyne?" you asked coldly as the woman glared at you with bright green eyes.

"She is in the car with Ermes. Now, you will come with me, get your life back together and raise that damn child!" she hissed at you with a stern and determinated look on her face.

"No. The child comes with me, I don't trust you with her. Not after what ha-" you were about to say but suddenly, a bright blue string wrapped around your mouth multiple times, shutting you up.

"Don't you dare finish that fucking sentence. Don't blame my father for your father's death." Jolyne spoke angrily with a twisted look in her eyes.

You whined in protest, summoning your stand to try and fight back but the string around your mouth only tightened. She was undeniably stronger than you so you retreated your stand immediately.

"Yare yare dawa..." she clicked her tongue annoyed. "I don't want her to have an incomplete family as I did. You won't leave like my old man did to me. Under no circumstances will I allow that." the crazy tone that lingered in her voice made you shiver as you never saw Jolyne so determined.

"You will be with me. End of the discussion. Willingly or not, you are mine."

And after that, everything went blank.

This woman is a sociopath, she pretends to be impacted by Liam’s death and if that is the case so she wants people to consider her a sensitive woman and who has a heart of gold, if I remember correctly she posted something about the death of Vivienne Westwood in order to draw attention to herself and she managed to have more followers with what she has posted.

I think she shouldn’t have posted something about Liam and she dared to put a picture of him and her, even the people who were closest to him for example his ex partenaire and she is also the mother of his child (Cheryl) didn’t do like this leech with crocodile tears (I’m talking about Jess).

Liam never dated with Jess, he never recognized her as his girlfriend in 2017 or 2018 and it’s not written anywhere either on social media or the internet that they both dated together, despite the fact that at the time Jess tried and wanted to make everyone believe that they dated together, knowing that she did everything to appear in the pictures with him and she managed to get noticed, but not like now with Jamie

Her little essay about Vivienne Westwood is "touching" but noticeably untagged to any official account or person connected to Vivienne, almost like she didn't want it seen. Probably because those theories about her leaving on bad terms are true. But of course, she couldn't resist making it a big deal about herself, highlighting her time there as if to remind everyone that she once held a “meaningful” job—despite clearly blowing it so badly she was never allowed back in fashion.

If Jess was going to post about Liam, it should've happened ages ago. Waiting this long feels strategic, like she didn’t want her post buried among the flood of other tributes, so she held out to maximize visibility. And yes, it's honestly revolting that she included a picture of herself with him when no one else has done that. She has to make everything about her, to ensure people see her and how “important” she is.

Whether they actually had a fling, I don’t know—it was reported, but it wouldn’t be shocking if Jess herself planted that story with the press to stir up buzz (or maybe a short-lived fling did happen). Either way, it’s obvious she pounced on Liam when he was on the rebound, which is grimy no matter how it went down. And now she's using his passing, weeks later, to reel in attention and sympathy.

Her comments are filled with people saying, “So sorry for your loss, Jess.” What loss? They hadn’t spoken in years—6, maybe 7? He didn’t follow her on IG, and it’s not like they were close. She was in his life briefly, pretended to be his manager, then moved on to do the same thing with Jamie. She’s absolute trash.

I was at the gym today and "Breaking the habit" came on in the player. I remembered the video from The Red Square in Moscow. This year it's been 7 years since Chester's death and even though the anniversary of his death is still a little over a month away, I want to share with you what I wrote just a couple of days after his death. As the years go by, the emotions are still the same.

Why is everything so heavy?

On July 27, 2017, Linkin Park's first concert of their North American tour was supposed to take place. People in Mansfield were supposed to take pictures of their favorite artists on their phones, happily singing not only new songs from the album, but also old hits so dear to fans' throats. After two hours of endless high, they had to go home happy. With a million new impressions.

On July 6, 2017 someone was lucky enough to see the band's last concert. Just a week ago, it was unimaginable. But now it doesn't feel like a lingering joke anymore.

Why does it feel like night today?

Something in here's not right today.

On July 20, I was coming home from the movie theater, and New Divide was playing in my headphones. I was thinking that Linkin Park had a new album out, that they were starting their American tour, and that means that they would soon reach Russia. Well, what else does my fan's heart need? A concert, the band, Chester.

That same evening, when I was surfing x/twitter with a cup of delicious tea, I saw the headline "Chester Bennington committed suicide". My first reaction was that it's a stupid joke. I mean, really, how many times has he been buried before? It doesn't make sense. Within a couple seconds, similar headlines started appearing on various news outlets. The second reaction was that it's just yellow press. But inner doubts made you turn on your laptop, put your tea aside and typed those damn four words into the search box. Four words and the enter key separated me from the first reaction. And then I saw the links, the headlines. And you know, it was like a virus that infects every cell in your body. And then I saw Mike Shinoda's tweet. He's gone. The one whose gorgeous voice was in my headphones just a couple of hours ago, he's gone. In an instant, the world was emptied of one weighty man. Why weighty? I checked websites, Facebook, Instagram. Looked how many people were crying like it was their own personal loss. It was a loss to those who loved his voice and his energy.

I can't feel the way I did before.

My introduction to Linkin Park happened pretty much the same way my 90's generation did. It was 2001, I was 14 years old. I was waiting to visit an ex-friend who burst into my house with the words: "Give me the tape recorder. I want you to hear a song. There's a man with a very beautiful voice."

And there was Crawling.

"Who's that? Linkin who? Park?" you asked.

Three minutes of buzz for your ears, and you run to find a free cassette to re-record that Hybrid Theory.

In the evening, you typed the band's name into a rambler search to look for the man who three hours ago sang about something inside him pulling beneath the surface. And then Rambler brought up the music video for One Step Closer. Monks, warriors, red-haired Shinoda, blond Bennington.

At that moment, my life was divided into a before and an after.

Before Linkin Park and with Linkin Park.

And you realize you're screwed. Seriously, and for a long time.

Those strangers from the other side of the planet singing about such familiar things. And it's with them that it becomes easier for you to get through the school years with bulling, the first betrayals of friends, long stays in the hospital, going to university, defending your diploma, moving to another city, life changes. And, honestly, I want to say a huge thank you to the whole band for the fact that in all the difficult times, when I wanted to send everything to hell, they believed in me. And I believed that they would be proud of me if I overcame everything. And I did. With Chester's voice in my headphones. He was the only one who could sober me up and kick my ass with his screaming. And then, a second later, switch to a gentle timbre and soothe your wounded soul. And I always knew I could count on him. My faithful friend named Chester… My sweet Chester Bennington. You were my rock when no one else had the right words. You helped build the wall of defense I needed.

That all I want to do is be more like me and be less like you will forever be my motto for life, which you diligently scribbled in notebooks, notepads, and a magnetic board on the refrigerator.

You diligently gather information about the band members, getting stunned by the frontman's biography, and find forums. You get new acquaintances scattered in different corners of Russia and over the world. Probably one of the most beautiful periods of my youth.

These feelings, when you are just starting to get into music, forming your views on life, when you are still youthful to maximalism, when you are sure that you can do everything that others couldn't and still wear rose-coloured glasses. All this for me finally left on July 20, 2017.

What I've done.

That day, I felt sick. I felt physically sick. My heart felt like it had been crushed by a tank. It ached like a chronic cardiac patient. My head was filled with endless questions of "What? Why? How?" I don't want to judge the act. Knowing what demons were in your head, I understand that choice. I'm sorry we couldn't help you when you helped all of us.

Chester. My sweet Chester.

I'm glad I was able to go to two Linkin Park concerts. I was no longer separated from the band by thousands of Russian kilometers, but only half an hour by subway. And I was able to see the real, sincere Bennington. A man with absolutely crazy energy. After that, I went to different concerts of different artists, but I have never seen such a connection with fans with anyone else. One second everyone is like positive sectarians singing I'm breaking the habit tonight, and the next second everyone is ready to die to Faint. Two hours later you walk out of the concert complex with a sore back, gray voice, and torn sneakers, but you're happy. The dream of a girl from 2003 has finally come true.

Who would have said that in 5 years at the place where fantasies became reality, I will say goodbye to my favorite musician.

Who cares if one more light goes out

Well I do…

Chester's passing showed me that I still have a lot of pain and darkness that I'd been suppressing. He mirrored that pain. I once again, fully faced everything I hadn't really wanted to face in years. A few months that added up to years of sweeping those emotions like trash under the rug, pretending the house was clean. It wasn't. The trash just piled up under the bed. The pain didn't go anywhere, it stayed neglected and recycled.

It's a moment when you don't want to open yourself up to the harsh reality of having your favorite musicians shut the door firmly behind you, but perhaps you shouldn't be afraid to live in it. There is pain, humiliation, hunger, wars and terrible injustice. People have the right to show emotion. Not everything is the way I want it to be. A lot of things are not the way I want them to be. It's hard, and it's unlikely that I can fully accept the world as it is. But thankfully, I have a few outlets.

I don't want to stifle my emotions. I don't want to forget about them when sucked into a "normal" life where everyone asks you to be "normal". And I don't want to hide from my inner demons, because they are what make you and me alive.

But for now, I want to turn on From the inside again, like in tenth grade, to turn on full blast, black pencil my eyes and become a different person. It was that song that made my inner core strong and made me stronger. And, Chester… My sweet Chester, it's thanks to you again.

I tried so hard

And got so far

But in the end

It doesn't even matter

I hope you have finally found peace and your demons are off of you.

I'm sorry Chester won't get to take his kids to school, won't see his grandkids. Won't know what it's like to be 50, 60, 70 years old. And I think that would be great, because it certainly wouldn't age him. Chester's not gonna write any new songs. I won't be able to listen to Shadow of the day, Leave out all the rest, One more light, Talking to myself. When you know what they're about, you want to turn them off. After listening to Given Up, you want to run up to Chester and shout, "You're great!!!" It's a shame he had such a hard time with himself.

The news of him being buried won't fit in my head for a long time. Even the overwhelming love of fans, family and friends couldn't save him from himself.

I don't want to say goodbye. I want to say thank you.

Thank you for the inspiration, for the amazing story of struggle told in such a powerful and emotional voice. I will love this amazing voice forever.

His example encourages us to become sincerer. Darker. Gloomier because without the dark days, you don't appreciate the sunshine as much.

Chester had so many words about light and sunshine. His light and warmth has stayed with us and will continue to warm us even after many years.

According to my AO3, I've written for Star Wars, Marble Hornets, Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel, and DCTV. I've written a few for other fandoms, like RT and FNAF, but they aren't published. I've also written Jurassic Park and Breakfast Club AUs.

4.) What are your top five fics by kudos?

Binary Sunset-- Obi-Wan of the prequels era finds himself in the future, tagging along with The Mandalorian, Din Djarin. The first in a series, it has 823 kudos.

The Cassandra Problem-- Another time travel fic featuring Obi-Wan, but instead of the future Obi-Wan finds himself in the past, literally during the Battle of Theed. At 8 chapters updated, I currently have 11 more written and plenty more to go after that, and it currently sits at 624 kudos.

Is This The Start, Midpoint, or Finale?-- A modern mermaid au for Codywan that I started over 2 years ago. It's still being updated, but has taken a bit of a break for a while while I focused on other projects. It currently has 492 kudos :)

Come Alive-- I wrote this fic in 2017, when I was in my senior year of high school. The ending was rushed (I lost track of where I was going halfway through and fudged my way through the rest, only to remember the original, better, plotline only once it was complete) and I'm not super proud of it anymore, but I do appreciate it for what it was to me at the time. Sometimes. I usually mean to respond to all of them, but I never know what to say and so I push it off until I completely forget or feel like too much time has passed and get awkward about it.

Probably one of the fics in my Second Chance series, a Bad Batch series where I'm making everything better by making everything worse, first.

Probably When My Walls Start Burning Down, a Cody-centric post-war fic. There's still plenty of angst before the happy ending, but I'd definitely consider the ending a happy one!

Not that I can think of, but honestly if I did I probably deleted it and then promptly forgot it existed.

I have written smut before, Codywan, but it's not something I delve into a whole lot. Not a lot of experience in that department, being aroace and all.

I do! Of my published crossovers, my Agent Carter/Pirates of the Caribbean crossover series Skyfall is probably the craziest, but I frequently entertain myself daydreaming about wild crossover ideas.

Some, like Stranger Things/Star wars, aren't quite weird, but I've also had a grand time imagining what a Marble Hornets/Star Wars crossover would look like, and I've definitely thought of others that aren't coming to mind right now.

One of my favorite things to do used to be thinking about the weirdest crossover possible and trying to figure out how it would happen, Fallout Equestria style.

@tired-bshocked and I worked together on a fic series, Red Eye, for the 2023 Codywan Reverse Bang, if that counts. We each wrote our own fic in the series, but we of course worked together to make the fics mesh.

See, this is hard because my 'favorite thing' is whatever I'm currently hyperfixating on. I'd say either Codywan or Jay Merrick/Tim Wright (Marble Hornets), because they're my two big fandoms at the moment.

15.) What's a WIP you'd like to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hmm... my PotC fic, Perdition, only has a few chapters to go, but it's been a while since I updated and I think finishing it at this point will be a luck of the draw. It sucks, though, because I really enjoyed writing the fic and I'm always a sucker for PotC.

16.) What are your writing strengths?

I'm... not actually sure. I've been told a few times that I have a particular writing style, but it's mostly just the way I talk/think so I'm blaming it on the Neurodivergence. I think I'm pretty good with grammar and stuff? That said I still couldn't tell you what an adjective or adverb are (alas, I've never been good at mad libs for this reason) so who even knows at this point!

17.) What are your writing weaknesses?

I've never been able to understand the difference between active and passive voice. I also am apparently incapable of understanding Iambic Pentameter. All-around I have more to learn, but nothing sticks out to me as a particular 'yep focus on this'.

18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I may have done it once or twice, but I don't remember what I did? Honestly when reading I don't mind how it's done, though I do prefer a way to easily figure out what was said in the other language. Unless, of course, the point is not to know.

19.) First fandom you wrote for?

Honestly, Warriors over on Fanfiction.net. I definitely still have my account over there but I'm not sharing it at all because those fics are from when I was like 12.

Also, when I started writing fanfiction it was before I discovered fanfic was a thing, so I just. Thought I completely invented the concept for a while. I was thrilled when I realized fanfic existed.

20.) Favorite fic you've ever written?

Probably the Cassandra Problem! I recently realized the word count is higher than the entirety of the book Animal Farm, and I'm only about a quarter through it (and there may end up being more than one fic in the series by the end of it) and said realization fucked me up a bit. In a good way. Mostly. Also realized that since I'm updating it a chapter a month, the last chapter I wrote won't be published for another year at this rate.

But I'm having so much fun writing it! Time travel stories are so fun in every iteration to me-- what to change, what not to change, why change one thing and not another, how to react when you're back in your childhood bedroom or when you find out that a future version of you has done something so entirely out of character to you that you can only wonder what's happened...

There's so much potential, and I've had a lot of fun crafting the way that the time travel works in the fic :)

He Ollie! It's Cef. You might remember me. I just wanted to say hi and that I hope you are doing well. I still love that you are posting t-fics left and right! I miss you all very much! The reason I left the community was because I finally found some meds that work really well for me, except I almost completely lost my love of tickling. and yeah, i still try to stay active around here, even when my tfic writing isn't coming as easy as it used it. it's crazy that u say that abt ur meds bc lowkey that kinda happened to me too... i started antidepressants for the first time last may (almost a year?? holy shit) and although i had been having writer's block for about 3 months prior to starting those meds, i can honestly say that yeah, the meds did change my brain chemicals a lot, to the point where tickling fell wayyyyyy to the backburner of my mind lol. coupled w how busy i've been for the past... solid year lmfao and this blog just hasn't been able to be a priority like it used to be

Evolution of the storyline

This is following @danjaley's post about all the turns her story has taken throughout the years and her enquiry about my own process in the comments. More under the cut because long.

I haven't got any blurbs of potential dialogues to share simply because I don't write anything beforehand. My writing is mostly improvised.

I have never planned anything until the Sam/Ash-to-the-future storyline (that takes us back to somewhere around 2017, phew). I have a vague idea of where I want to go and sometimes adjust during shooting or writing. Since I don't plan, the canon story becomes the only story and all the other options I may think of are quickly forgotten. That's still the way I roll most of the time BUT...

When I sent Ash and Sam 250 years into the future, it became clear that I didn't want it to be any future. I wanted to see the future generations of all my Sims. But that of course requires a huge amount of planning. I've always enjoyed pairing up characters so my favorite part of planning was deciding which couples would be best together, who would have kids, etc. At the second generation, it became a bit random simply because I was working with names in a timeline and not characters I had the time to get attached to. But I scrupulously recorded all the generations. See below: I used that Excel timeline it to keep track of how many generations I needed to get to Sam & Ash's timeline (the dark red line at the end) and how old everyone would be (so that I don't end up pairing up a YA with a toddler, ya see?). The various life stages are the pastel cells. I won't tell you what the other color codes are.

Then I went in game and impregnated the hell out of my Sims. I just made quick genetic templates so to speak. You want a sneak peek at some of these hastily created Sims? Go here.

You may be horrified to know that at some point (a long time ago), I had considered pairing up Hugo with Annabelle. Or Jessie with Cordelia. I know. I'm sorry. Youthful mistake. We're definitely not going there.

Julian and Risa were also supposed to have a second child called Dorian. I think I just wanted my Sims to pop babies all the time.

What about Nate, Ivy and Seth? I can't remember exactly when I decided to kill them off (the most difficult decision I've ever made), but it definitely wasn't a key element from the start. Like so many plot events, it just... suddenly made sense and I knew I had to go down that path.

So like I said, I need a specific future. But having many Sims popping babies all over the place didn't seem manageable (or realistic). So I kind of implemented a sort of one-child policy (two at most) and removed some potential kids from the generation lines. That's when the Golzine line was set. I know exactly who will be heir 250 years in the future, and who their parents are.

What am I going to do with all those other Sims over multiple generations that I have basically fated to each other? I have no clue yet. I thought I'd figure it out as I went along... you know, as I usually do!

Big haha. Joke's on me.

Because obviously, here we are, 7 years and a big mess later. That future storyline has me backed into a corner. Characters have evolved and some couples just don't make sense anymore. Now I remember why I hate planning when it relates to my creativity. It's so limiting! Obviously, I can't explain in details without spoiling but I'm on really shaky ground. That's why it's taking me so long to get back to Sam & Ash. All I can safely say, because you all know that by now, is that Laurie and Erik were not supposed to fall for each other! I had initially planned Erik to marry Cordelia, then rather quickly changed my mind because it had suddenly dawned on me that he would be so good with Gloria. That was already a problem, but at least it was easily fixable. My two doofuses pining after each other was not part of the plan AT ALL.

How did that happen? Well, mostly because I completely misunderstood Laurie's personality. I've realized it quite early on while writing him, but I may have underestimated the extent of his influence over the plot. The Golzine storyline is the one I had to work on in the most detailed way because they have quite a big impact on pretty much everything. I know who Laurie's heir will be, and the heir after that, and the heir after that. In order to get there, things have to happen a certain way. Some characters have to be born, ya know? And things would happen because of previous events. Laurie is a wrench into all of my future plans.

He was supposed to be some sort of casanova and to have an enemies-to-lovers relationship with Anh Wong. He was self-assured, flirty and a bit entitled. In other words, he was Noah's successor and his relationship with Anh was always meant to be a chaotic one (she's the one who would send him to jail), even when Laurie was with other women. Note I said "women". I hadn't considered that he could be bisexual. His relationship with Erik was strictly that of a close friendship. I was quite hyped about Laurie and Anh getting together and the (friendly) dynamics between him and Erik as his right-hand man. Although I never do that, I had even written down some lines of dialogues. I won't share those though, because it is all cringy banter and not much substance. But I kept the gist of my initial plan: Shu trying to protect her sister from getting her heart broken, Laurie and Anh's little dance and her mistrust of him, Erik the guard dog... Then I threw in the mob council last minute (initially, its only role was to legitimate Laurie as the Golzine heir), but characters like Jie, Romeo and Omar turned out to be a lot less minor than I'd thought and the entire Laurie arc has spun out in a ludicrous way. When I started it in 2020, I never thought I'd still be working on it in 2024.

...I don't regret anything. *sniff*

After all, I always meant for Anh to let her hair down at some point.

I was so sure that I knew Laurie, that I had his character and motives well under control. I don't even know how he did it but he took over his own story. Even now, he's pulling his own strings, I guarantee you. I believe that this is why the latest update (that I had been looking forward to writing for literal years) took so long: slowly but surely, Laurie is redirecting me. Nothing in that update happened exactly the way I had planned.

I'm convinced that the guy is the key to everything but how exactly? I guess he'll let me know last minute.

This story is a moving target, for real. I'll tell you what. Ask me again in 2034. By then, the plot will maybe have moved forward a little and I will be able to tell you how what I was planning a decade earlier actually didn't work out and we'll have a good laugh about it.

(Actually, once we're a bit further along on the current storyline, maybe I will be able to share more on what was supposed to happen - patience!)

Cory Wharton is getting real about how past infidelity continues to play a role in his relationship with Taylor Selfridge.

“Taylor doesn’t trust me because I cheated on her five years ago and I regret it every day,” Wharton, 33, revealed on the Wednesday, March 27, episode of Teen Mom: Family Reunion. “I need to do the best I can do to make sure to rebuild that trust between me and Taylor because right now, it’s dragging us down like an anchor.”

The revelation came when the cast was participating in a couple’s exercise with relationship experts Dr. Mike Dow and Michaiah Dominguez.

When asked what was blocking their relationship progress, both Wharton and Selfridge, 29, agreed that their trust was not where it should be.

"In terms of trust, Cory just wants me to get over it because it happened so long ago,” Selfridge explained. “Yes, it happened five years ago but I’m not over it yet and I feel like it’s something we haven’t worked through yet.”

She continued, “I’m definitely still holding a grudge about it. I don’t forget. That’s the problem. I’ll always think there could be something. It’s hard when someone breaks your trust like that.”

Wharton and Selfridge have been together since meeting on Ex on the Beach in 2017. They share two daughters: Mila, 3, and Maya, 20 months. Wharton also shares daughter Ryder, 7, with ex Cheyenne Floyd.

During the exercise, Floyd, 31, was surprised by her ex’s openness about his past mistakes.

"I don’t know if everybody here knew about the cheating and I think that now that the cheating has been put on the table, it just brings up all those past emotions for Taylor,” Floyd said. “Cory has to realize that cheating can be really hard to work through and I feel like he doesn’t have the proper tools to work through it right now by himself.”

In a separate chat with costar Tyler Baltierra, Wharton expressed his belief that cheating isn’t the only issue he has to work through with his longtime girlfriend.

“Early in our relationship, I made a dumb mistake and I’m paying for it to this day,” he said. “But there’s more to me and her than just my issues.”

Selfridge appeared to agree when chatting exclusively with Us Weekly before Teen Mom: Family Reunion’s season premiere earlier this month. She also provided a status on their relationship after cameras wrapped.

“We both have our deep-rooted issues with different things that kind of play a part in our relationship,” she told Us on March 5. “I don’t want to give anything away, but we’re definitely still together, I will say. We definitely did not separate.”

1 - When was the last time you spent over $100 in one transaction? What did you buy? Around a month ago when I bought my Dunks. I wanted to have nice shoes for my holiday, but it was also to give a subtle fuck you to my Nike-competitor client since they’re turning out to be my least favorite client.

2 - Do you sleep with a stuffed animal? Would you judge a grown adult for doing so? I guess BT21 plushies count as stuffed animals, yeah? And no, I wouldn’t judge at all. I don’t care for the most part how people live their lives.

3 - Would you describe yourself as fashion-conscious, or do you just wear whatever feels comfortable? Hm, I’m pretty conscious. I like to look good. Some days I’ll be tempted to just go the comfy route, but then I’ll change my mind once I look in the mirror and see that my top and bottom don’t match. 4 - The last time you got up from where you’re sitting, where did you go and what did you do? I went from the living room to my bedroom since I wanted to have a bit of me time with the rain before I need to start working tonight.

9 - When you’re home alone, do you make sure all your doors are kept locked? Only in the evening when I turn in. Otherwise, I don’t mind keeping the doors open during the day. I live in a safe, private neighborhood and everyone minds their own business. 10  - How often do you light candles? Do you just like regular ones or do  you prefer scented ones or ones that make pretty patterns when they melt? Never. The only ones I’ve used have been gifts, too. 11 - Are you any good at taking care of plants? Nope. They never last with me.

16 - Do you prefer taking baths or showers? How come? Showers because 1) we don’t have a bathtub, and 2) starting a bath is just too much work for me lol. It’s also like, you need time to fill it up, then you just sit in your own dirt and stuff. Not really a fan.

17 - What time do you need to wake up tomorrow morning? What is it that you have to be up for? 9 AM at the latest – work.

18 - If you work, how often do you get paid? Would you prefer to get paid more or less often? Every two weeks. I’m fine with the length; I learn how to budget from it.

19 - What does your favourite pair of pyjamas look like? Do you wear them to sleep or just to be comfy around the house? It’s purple and has a checkered design. Yes, I just wear it in the evening when I’m about to sleep.

20 - How often do you wake up in the night needing a pee? That never happens as I stay up long enough to sleep through the entire night, anyway.

21 - What apps do you use the most on your phone? Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit.

Back then with Kimi I used to be the all-around parent, from feeding him, cleaning up after him, bathing him, to paying for vet visits. The last thing Huey could remember was going to bed last night, in his triple bunk bed back in the manor. Which was concerning, because as he squinted in the harsh sunlight and felt the itch of sand in his feathers, he realized he was on a beach.

The beach was littered with driftwood, boulders, and small palm trees. A few feet away was a forest that stretched as far as Huey could see. And out in the distance, he saw… beacons. Massive metallic pillars floating in the sky. One red, one blue, and the closest one green. And a few smaller ones of varying colors scattered around.

He wracked his brain for what kind of adventure led him to this place, what treasure they were looking for, what ancient culture built obelisks to use in some kind of sport or ritual, but everything came up blank.

2017 - part 2

12 Feb 2017 – “You never walk alone” preview show.  Who’s JM’s little cutie? 

14 Feb 2017 – JM Twitter post –  the boys with matching jackets.  I know. I said not Twitter, but sometimes rules are made to be broken.

17 Feb 2017 – Hobi’s birthday.  JM to JK: “stop coming to our room at night.” There’s something about JM throwing JK under the bus time after time.  It’s like he enjoys to see JK squirm.

22 Feb 2017 – Gaon Chart K-pop chart – JK ushering Hobi to another seat, so that JK can sit behind JM.  JM turning around see this, rolls his eyes and smirks.

25 Feb 2017 MBC music core comeback – JK moving Hobi aside, so that JK can stand behind JM.  JK being JM’s number 1 fanboy.

26 Feb 2017 – Wings – you never walk alone fan sign.  Really JM? What was that neck grab and what exactly were you doing there????  No, I don’t believe he kissed JK’s neck, but it sure was ‘out there’, so much so that Jin was in total shock when it happened.  JK was surprised by it, and I think that even JM was shocked by his own actions waling aimlessly in what seems like the wrong direction .

28 Feb 2017 Run BTS episode 12. This one for me was cringe worthy, at some points I felt like an actual intruder.  JK the detective and JM the prisoner.  JK whacking JM on the behind (remember JK is the younger – how bold).  JM’s private dance for JK.  I know the episode was mostly scripted, but I seriously think JM was surprised by that smack to his behind.  Also, the way JK was looking at JM when he was dancing all heart hands for him.

12 March 2017 - Wings tour Santiago Chile

Santiago day 2 – JK suffers from exhaustion.  As he is taken back stage to a treatment room, JM is the one to race after the team into the room.

JM is in the treatment room when the cameras come in.  He is standing there, and later, as the other members are walking in, JM is by JK’s side, helping the medical team lift up one of his legs.

The rest of the members come in together to see how JK is doing, and when the medical team suggest to take off JK’s pants, all the members leave the room.  All except for JM, who stays there with JK the whole time.

JM leaves the room only together with JK, after he feels better and is able to walk out of the room on his own two feet.

Wouldn’t you expect RM, being the leader and all, to be the one by JK’s side? Or J-Hope maybe?  Wouldn’t that have made more sense under the circumstances? Why JM?  

Because, clearly JM is the one JK feels closest to, the one he can be himself with freely, the one he doesn’t feel embarrassed or needs privacy from.

JM may not have been a family member, but he was the closest thing to it.  JM to JK is and was his home, his safe place, and most certainly the one to be by his side when he was in distress.

April 2017 3rd Muster dvd – the muster was at end of 2016, but dvd was released in 2017. During photo shoots they are being posed by the photographers.  Yes, there will be authentic moments between them, but sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s being directed.  That’s why I don’t always like to add these to my timeline.   Even so, they were so cute, so I couldn’t leave this one out.

3rd April 2017 – BTS Front row live entertainment interview – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UotjcB_X4ag . What happened there?  

This one intrigues me. I watched and re-watched the full interview several times, and for the life of me I can’t see what happened there between JM and Hobi that triggered JK’s reaction?  JM’s placating look at JK, like telling him nothing happened… this one is used a lot to create the JK jealous narrative, and to be honest, I really don’t know what happened there. When JK turns back, JM looks into the camera with an uneasy gaze.

After that, most of the time, JM looks lost in his thoughts, not happy.  Towards the end they are asked what artist they would want to collaborate with, and Suga’s answer makes them all burst out in laughter, all accept for JM.  When he is asked and answers, you also see he is unhappy.  You can easily see something is bothering him.  JM just wasn’t his happy own self.  He looked pensive.  BTS did several interviews and had a concert that day, so maybe he was just tired or wound up, but he just wasn’t acting like himself.

April 2017 - Bon Voyage 2 Hawaii

Highlights of the highlights: The but checking and identifying (are we taking skinship to another level, are we??).  

JK getting drenched at the beach, JK getting drenched period. Lol.  

JK gobbling down piping hot Pizza so JM can eat. 

JM playing footsies under the table with JK, all while sitting opposite V.  

JK edging JM to come along calling him “Aegyo” = “Baby”.  J

M making sure JK doesn’t go hungry, buying him food with his own money.  JM taking care of JK. 

JK and JM on same team – the joy… Spending the day together and just being happy. 

 Did JK really lose the game on purpose so he can be in the room with JM? 

The amount of times we hear Jimin-ssi in every kind of cute and flirty way JK can say it…

JK’s intense stare at JM, when JM joined the others in with the others when they were laughing at JK eating everyone’s food but not ordering any for himself, which causes JM to immediately stop laughing.  

Poor JK being blindsided when it was pointed out that the only one he bought a birthday present for last year was JM.  Oops. (why oh why JM did you throw him under the bus like that??? You were curious? Really???? JM keeps doing this) Poor boy was so embarrassed.  Hobi was the one to actually save him, stating how generous JK has become lately giving away his things that he didn’t need. JK never answered the question. 

27 June 2017 BV2 special commentary live – JK getting all flustered when asked to explain the difference between BV1 and BV2.  JM looking at him, enjoying every second.

4 August 2017 - KBS Music Bank Singapore.  JK not loving on Taemin.  The way he turns around the minute JM and Taemin interact, and the discontent look on his face…cold.  He’s not a happy camper.  He glancing in the direction a couple of times, but he is mostly turned away from them.   And when JM runs up to slap Taemin in the butt, JK sees this, averts his head, and just keeps walking off the stage.  He is clearly upset. Besides the obvious faces he makes, not waiting for Jimin when walking off stage is not something he usually does. Was it jealousy?  Was it just a disliking of Taemin specifically?  And if he dislikes Taemin, why is that?  We can’t know. 

OK now, I know I said that I won’t be doing Twitter, but this one I felt I had to (again, oops):

On the 6th of August 2017 JM posted a photo he took during their Hawaii trip (BV2). Why take this photo, and why post it?  Do I really have to ask this question?

I couldn’t find the actual date of this interview, but it was uploaded end of August 2017. I really enjoyed this one.  Everyone talks about JK’s “arrest me” JM mishap during this interview.  The members reactions are to die for.  

Can someone tell me please what Suga told JK in Korean before they moved on?????  

Also, JK’s reaction when JM said he wanted to collab with Suga (watch from 7:58min), was like:

 W H A T  in  T H E  actual F U C K???. LMAO.

JK and JM being all playful by the pool.  JK letting us know how adorable JM is to him when he is swimming doggy style in the pool.

The one that stands out to me, though, is the ‘dream catcher necklace saga’.  Felt a little uneasy to see that one, like I was witness to a lover’s tiff.  

The boys were given a budget each to purchase themselves a gift.  They are taken together to a gift shop, where they check the merchandise out and each buy themselves a little souvenir.  When they all sit down to show each other their gifts, that’s when this moment happens.

JK takes out his gift. I once again want to emphasize, this is a gift he bought with his budget for himself.  He explains it’s a dream catcher and says he will put it in his room.  

JM, sitting next to him, takes it from JK and says: “this is a necklace Jungkook-ssi”. 

JK blurts out adamantly that he won’t hang it around his neck.   

This is when things get awkward, because you can see JM is clearly upset, throws the necklace back at JK and says: “OK, then”.

JM has a dream catcher necklace around his neck too, and when it’s his turn to tell what gift he bought himself he takes the necklace off and gives it to V, saying he bought the gift for V, who had a nightmare last night.

After JM’s mini tantrum JK, who previously adamantly professed he will not put it around his neck, does everything he can to put the necklace on, finally turning to JM to help him put the it on, which he does.  

Later on, while sitting for the personal interview, with the necklace around his neck, he tells us how from now on he won’t have nightmares.

What did I get from all that?

Clearly JM was pissed at JK’s reaction.  Why?  JK clearly bought this by himself for himself. 

But did he?  Was it something he chose for himself, or was it something JM suggested to him?

JM also bought a dream catcher.  Was that a coincidence?  For some reason, I don’t think so.  

My theory is that the dream catcher is something JM suggested or wanted JK to buy for himself, and JK reluctance to wear it offended him.  JM clearly bought the other dream catcher for V.  Perhaps he wanted both his boys to have one, and to him, JK’s comment felt as a rejection.

The way JK reacted to JM, his immediate change of attitude towards the necklace, trying to put it on, when only a second earlier he said he won’t put this around his neck, shows how attuned he was to JM, how he immediately realised he did something wrong, something to upset JM, and how he tried, in his own way, to atone for it, by wearing the same thing he but seconds ago rejected.

This brings me back to the point I made about the boys relationship, and them finding the balance. A perfect example to how there will still be conflict, but how JK realises, immediately, that he had done wrong and what he has done wrong, and immediately sets to right the wrong, hence to restore that balance.
